"Look everyone. It's Scarlett!"

"Scarlett. Please look this way!"

"Your new drama just hit the box office and it's been getting a lot of positive responses? How do you feel?"

"There are rumours that you will be nominated for the best actress award this year. How true is this?"

"Are you confident to get the award?"

"Scarlett, please give me an autograph!"

Scarlett Kingston stepped out of her car and was instantly surrounded by reporters and numerous fans who wanted to get a piece of her. Scarlett smiled. She was really happy. After all, she had everything. She had the game and the money, she was at the peak of her career, it was only right that these people should suck up to her like this.

Scarlett was shielded by her manager as she walked into her house. If she wasn't covered, she won't be able to get in at all. She was after all the superstar Scarlett. Anything that she says right now will make it's way to the top searches tommorow morning.

Immediately Scarlett entered the house, she fell on her sofa. She stretched out her hand and her manager Rose handed her her phone. Scarlett smiled as she read the comments online about her new drama. It really got a positive response! It was explosive.

"Scarlett, the drama, it's been really great! It's a wonderful hit! Everyone is talking about it. I'm sure that it will be on the top searches for at least one month!" Rose said. She had been following Scarlett around since she debuted about a year ago and she knew how talented this woman is.

Scarlett scoffed. "Of course it's a hit! It's a drama that I Scarlett Kingston made. It's sure to be a hit. You know that I am amazing!" Scarlett sighed.

Ross smiled at her. This is Scarlett's flaw. She is wonderful top actress but, she has no idea of the word modesty. Scarlett Kingston, the perfect definition of narcissism!

But it wasn't as if she was wrong though. She did achieve a lot in just five years. She debuted at 20 and just five years later she had shaken up the entertainment industry so much. Of course she was amazing. In the industry, they were really very few people who could compare to her! And those people have been holding on to thier career for at least ten years!

"I think the fact that it's a romance drama made it even more popular" Rose said. She said that without thinking. She said spoke her mind.

Scarlett scoffed. Romance? What a joke. Do people still believe in that nonsense? "Romance? What a joke! People are just delusional! Do they still believe in such stupid things as true love?" She asked.

The drama was a sappy love story. About a bit and a girl who met when they were in high school. Because of their family differences, they had to be separated and after seven years, they meet again. This time, they are able to fight those odds and stay together! What a joke! How can people believe that such true love is real? It has to be the biggest joke in this life!

Rose looked at Scarlett. After five years, she still does not understand this woman at all. She appeared mainly in romance dramas, everyone thought of her as a romanticist, but in truth, she looked down on love and everything related to it. To her, it was complete nonsense! How can someone be like this? What is really going on with her? "But Scarlett, I think that true love is real. There's definitely someone for everyone out there" Rose said.

Scarlett looked at Rose. "how old are you that you still believe in these things? Let me tell you, love is just something that people use to console themselves. In the end what really matters is benefits!" Scarlett said. She really could not understand Rose. Why does she still believe this nonsense?

Rose sighed. She knew that arguing with Scarlett was just going to be a waste of her time. She immediately remembered something. Vivian, Scarlett's mother had asked her to pass on a message to Scarlett. Infact, she had told her to make sure that Scarlett goes. How is she going to do that? Judging from Scarlett's temper, what if she flips?

"Scarlett, there is something that I need to tell you. Your mother, she asked you to go meet someone, on a blind date" Rose said. Her voice was shaking, Scarlett keeps refusing to go. Why won't Vivian leave her alone?

"What?! What nonsense is this? Why won't that woman leave me alone? I told her that I don't want to go anywhere with anyone!" Scarlett said. This is so annoying!

Rose shuddered. Scarlett is starting to get angry. Will she be the one to deal with her anger then? "Scarlett, you know that your mother is not going to stop if you don't go. Why don't you just go so she can stop pestering? Just because you go on the blind date doesn't mean you have to meet the person again" Rose said trying to convince her.

Scarlett sighed. This woman won't stop, she will have to figure out a way to make sure that she stops bothering her. She will meet with this person. After this meeting, her mother won't dare to arrange more blind dates for her!

"Alright. I'll go!" Scarlett said.

Ryder Thompson sat facing Julia Blair, his girlfriend, soon to be ex girlfriend. He was smiling at her. That same smile that has won over the hearts of so many women over the years. Coupled with his handsome face, there simply is no woman who can resist him in this world!

Julia on her part, was extremely happy. Ever since she started going out with Ryder about two weeks ago, she felt like her life had experienced a complete turn around.

Actually she had heard the rumours about Ryder. The CEO of Helian Entertainment, he is known to be the perfect playboy. Julia just wanted to get whatever she wanted from him until he got tired of her. But after being with him for a few days, she started to think that maybe he wasn't as bad as people said. Maybe, he just hasn't found the person for him. Who knows? She just might be the woman to get to him. He treated her so well!

Julia of course had no idea what was going on in Ryder's mind right now. He was already tired of playing around with her. "Julia, I have something that I want to talk to you about" Ryder said.

Julia was suddenly excited. Is he going to propose to her? She looked around. They were in a really fancy restaurant. It seemed to be the perfect place for a proposal. What romantic plans did he have for her this time?

"What is it? What do you want to tell me?" Julia asked. Her voice was coy, so coy that it made Ryder sick to the stomach.

"So here's the thing, let's break up" Ryder said. It came out of him so naturally, like he was a pro at these kind of things.

Julia, who was already preparing herself to say yes was completely and utterly devasted. Wait? Break up? He wants to break up with her? Instead of a proposal, it's a break up?

"What? Break up?! I really don't want to break up with you! I love you! Didn't you say that you love me too? Why do you want to break up with me now?" Julia said. She was so angry. Who does he think that he is messing with?

Ryder rolled his eyes. He was tired of playing along with this woman. He knew, what she wants from him. Why can't she just make her demands and get lost? "Let's be sincere. You knew from the start, that I was playing around with you. And you are only with me because of money. Let's make a deal here. Tell me what you want and let's go out separate ways without making things hard for each other!" Ryder said. His words were harsh, really harsh.

Julia was shocked. This man seemed very different from the man that had doted on her for two weeks now. But at least she knew now that he was serious. He had just been playing around with her as usual. Once again, another woman got played by Ryder Thompson.

Julia thought about it. She won't be able to hold on to him anyway. He said to name her demands right? "You, I can really say whatever I want right? You'll give me whatever I ask for right?" Julia asked.

Ryder smiled broadly. A really flirtatious smile. At least she is no longer using that love nonsense. "Yes. So tell me. What do you want? I really have somewhere that I need to be right now"

Alright then" Julia said. She looked down at the car that he came with. It was a Rolls Royce sweptail. That car is one of the most expensive cars in the world! Well, since she can't get the man, she should at least get something out of him before he dumps her completely. "I wake your car. Give me your car" Julia said.

Ryder looked outside at his car. He just got that car a few days ago! Will he have to give it away now? He looked at Julia again. He could see the determination in her eyes. Since she won't be able to date him anymore, she had to get something out of him. Ryder immediately regretted telling her anything.

About ten minutes later, Ryder stood by the side of the road as he watched as his $13 million car was driven away by some woman. He really wanted to mourn for his car.

Scarlett sat facing her so called blind date. She had to say that there was something wrong with her mother's eyes. Before she came, she had called her mother and Vivian had told her that she would be meeting a really handsome man. How does this person in front of her classify as handsome? What nonsense is this?

Scarlett was doing everything possible to keep herself from exploding but it seemed as if the person in front of her did not understand it at all. He just would not stop talking!

"Scarlett, I'm a big fan of yours! I'm Raymond Campbell. Our family owns JK Enterprises. You've heard of it right? We deal on real estate business" Raymond said. He was really confident about this blind date. He is handsome, and he has a lot of money, no woman would say no to him. Scarlett should be thankful that she can meet him like this. After all, isn't she just an entertainer?

"So tell me? What are your hobbies?" Raymond asked. Scarlett wasn't saying anything so he felt that she was uncomfortable. He just wanted to get the ball rolling.

Scarlett rolled her eyes. She has never met someone as stupid as this! Can't he take a clue? "My hobbies? Didn't you already run a background check on me before coming? Do you really need to ask me that?" Scarlett asked.

Raymond cletched his fists. He could sense her sarcasm. But he did not want to show it. Instead, he decided to go straight to the point.

"You know why we are here right? Your mother wishes that you can start a relationship with me. Why don't we just go along with what she wants? Think about it, I am handsome, I'm the CEO of a company, it's a pretty good catch for your right?" Raymond asked.

Scarlett scoffed. Good catch? Who does this person think that he is? "Good catch? You? Do you really think of yourself as handsome? Who the hell lied to you? You should really take a good look at yourself in the mirror and reevaluate those opinions of yourself. And what? A CEO? The last time I checked the CEO of MK Enterprises is your father right?" Scarlett asked.

Raymond could not take it anymore. This woman completely insulted him! "What? Who do you think you are to talk to me like this? Scarlett don't forget you are just an actress, you should be happy that someone like me is interested in you!" Raymond said. How dare she be so rude to him?

Scarlett could not take it anymore. There absolutely is no need for her to deal with this anymore. "Since you think that you are so perfect why don't you date yourself then? Someone like me, really can't compare to you!" Scarlett said. Then she got up and walked out of the restaurant.

Immediately Scarlett got out, she called Rose. She had come with her to the restaurant but she left with the excuse that she had to get something. She was still not back. "Where are you?! Come back now!" Scarlett said. Then she got in the back seat of the car.

Scarlett took out a pair of dark sunglasses and wore it. Then she closed her eyes. That stupid idiot, how dare he talk to her like that? She is just an entertainer? Who does he think he is?. Scarlett was so pissed.

She was still brooding on this when her car door opened and someone got in the car.

Thinking it was Rose, Scarlett said. "From now on I don't want you to tell me about any more stupid blind dates that my mother set up. That stupid fool! Who does he think he is? What did he say? I'm just an entertainer? Let's just go!"

The person did not say anything. "Did you hear me Rose? I said let's go!" Scarlett repeated. Still no response. Scarlett opened her eyes immediately. Instead of Rose, there was a complete stranger sitting in her car!

Get lost!

Scarlett opened her eyes and saw that there was a complete stranger in her car. She was surprised. It took her a good minute to figure out what was going on. "Who the hell are you?" Scarlett asked. She was already pissed after meeting that stupid blind date of hers and some stranger is sitting in her car.

Ryder turned to look at the woman whose car he had gotten into. After Julia drove his car away, he had received a call from his father asking him to come back to the company immediately. He was the CEO but his father was still the chairman. He probably had something to complain about so he was calling him. But he just gave his car away. He decided to try his luck by charming a woman into giving him a ride. He is after all, Ryder. Is there a woman who can resist his charm? He was still looking around when saw this woman walk out of the restaurant that he had been in with Julia. He smiled to himself and got into her car.

Looking at her now, he had to admit that the woman was quite pretty. He could not see her face well since she was wearing a pair of dark sunglasses but he could already tell that she was quite pretty. He flashed her his best smile. "Hi, I'm Ryder Thompson. Do you mind giving me a ride? Don't worry. I'll repay you" He said. Then he winked at her. Ryder was sure he had impressed her. After all, there is no single woman he wanted to impress that he had not impressed in the last five years.

Scarlett however was different. She looked at him like she was seeing a clown performing in front of her. What does this person think that he is doing right now?! Scarlett did not know Ryder at all. She did not deal with the CEO of her agency. Her manager was the one who handled those things for her. She just had to act so how would she know the Playboy CEO of Helian Entertainment? She did not know him at all. To Scarlett, this person could not be more than a crazy drifter!

"Who the hell are you? Who do I have to give you a ride?!" Scarlett yelled. She should not have left home today. She just keeps running into all kinds of annoying situations.

Ryder was taken aback. He just smiled at her, he did his very best to impress her but instead she yelled at him. Did he not try hard enough? He refused to give up. He is definitely going to charm this woman! "If you know who I am, I'm sure that you will want to give me a ride? Why don't we do this? Help me out this once and then you can decide how I'll pay you back. What do you think of that?" Ryder asked.

Now Scarlett was convinced that this person is crazy. How dare he hop into her car and demand a ride? And where the hell is Rose? It seems that she has been too nice to her lately. That's what she's acting this way. "Who the hell are you?! Why should I give you a ride?!" Scarlett asked. She was already angry enough. Does he need to upset her more?

Ryder was not prepared to give up. Does this woman know who he is? "I told you that I am Ryder Thompson! Do you really not know who I am? I promise that you won't be running a loss if you help me out today. Just take me to Helian Entertainment" Ryder said.

"Why should I know who you are?! And why do you need to go to Helian Entertainment?" Scarlett asked. Since he had mentioned her agency, she was instantly alert.

Ryder thought that he had finally caught her attention. Once she knows that he is the CEO of Helian Entertainment, she definitely won't hesitate to help him then! "I am the CEO of Helian Entertainment. Just take me there" Ryder announced with pride.

Scarlett burst out laughing. This person really is completely crazy! CEO? Of Helian Entertainment? What a joke! "What? You are the CEO of Helian Entertainment? If you are the CEO then I am the Chairman's daughter!" Scarlett said.

Ryder was even more surprised. He had received more surprises in the few minutes that he had spent talking to this woman than he had received in the twenty five years of his life. "You, you really don't believe me? I am the CEO of Helain Entertainment though. Why won't you believe me?" Ryder asked.

Scarlett started to think that something is wrong with this man. Is he perhaps a reporter, who wants to get a picture of her and write some crazy story? Or is he a crazy fan who is stalking her? "Hey, who are you? Are you a reporter? Are you following me right now for some story? Or, are you a crazy fan who is stalking me right now?" Scarlett asked. She is a celebrity, if he really is a reporter, or a stalking fan, then it could be fatal for her career.

"What? Reporter? Fan? What nonsense are you talking about now?" Ryder asked. He was already getting frustrated and so he raised his voice a bit. Since she is wearing sunglasses, does she think that she is a celebrity? "Since you are dressed like this do you think that you are some sort of a celebrity?" Ryder asked.

Scarlett was beyond angry now. This is the second time that someone is insulting her career today! She definitely won't be able to put up with it any longer! "What?! Do you really not know who I am? I am Scarlett Kingston!" She said. Scarlett did not believe that there was someone in this country who did not know of her

Ryder though, did not know her. Even though he owned an Entertainment agency, he did not pay much attention to the entertainment circle. Infact, in the company, he did not do any real work at all! He was the perfect lazy heir who only knew how to spend the money people earned for him! "Scarlett Kingston? Is there a reason for me to know you? Just help me out. I really am the CEO of Helain Entertainment!" Ryder said.

Scarlett was more convinced that something was wrong. He is the CEO of Helian Entertainment and he doesn't know the most popular actress of his agency? What a joke! She definitely won't believe it! "I don't know who paid you to follow me around but once I find out who you really are, I definitely won't let you go at all! Now get out!" Scarlett yelled.

"But I really am..." Ryder tried to argue but Scarlett did not give him a chance.

"Get lost!" She yelled.

Ryder realised that this woman won't be helping him at all. He was just wasting his time talking to her. He got out of the car. Before he left, he took a second look at her. She said her name is Scarlett Kingston right? He will definitely find her and get back at her!

Scarlett watched him get out of the car. Who the hell is that crazy physopath?

However, what the both of them did not know was someone had been taking pictures of them. From when Scarlett got into her car to when Ryder got in and left, someone had taken pictures of all of it...

Scarlett was still brooding over the incident when Rose came back. Immediately she saw her, Scarlett started yelling at her. "Hey! Where the hell did you go?!" Scarlett asked. If she was here, then that would not have happened!

Rose could see from Scarlett's expression that something had happened. Did the blind date go that badly? "What happened Scarlett? Did the blind date go that badly?" Rose asked her.

Scarlett glared at her. "Don't ever mention that blind date in front of me. Let's just go!" Scarlett said. She is upset enough as it is already. About the blind date, she was sure that woman Vivian already knew about it.

Ryder was still standing by the road trying to figure out what to do when a car pulled up in front of him. It was his best friend Matt Cathers. Ryder breathed in relief when he saw him. He was saved! He immediately got into the car.

"How did you know that I am here?" Ryder asked. Matt already started the car.

"Your dad called me and asked me to get you to go to the company as soon as possible. I'm the PR director but I feel like I'm a secretary who picks up after you. Anyway I saw Julia with your car and I asked her. She said she parted ways with you here. So the both of you broke up?" Matt asked. Matt knew Ryder really well. He knew what he was like.

"Yes, I broke up with you. I got tired of her already" Ryder said and smiled.

Anyone else would think that it was just a normal smile, but Matt could see through that. Sometimes, he just wished that Ryder could be completely over what happened five years ago. He said he got over it but he wouldn't be acting like this if he really is over that woman right?

"Ryder, why don't you think about settling down with someone? Instead of going around in circles like this. Is he because of what happened? Because of her.?" Matt asked.

Ryder turned to Matt. Why is he suddenly bringing that up? "That woman? What woman? I already told you that I'm over it. Don't bring her up again" Ryder said.

Matt sighed, since he doesn't want to talk about it, he should drop it right?

For some minutes, the car was quiet. Then Matt suddenly turned to him. "If you were going to come why did you take so long? Because of you, I ran into a completely crazy woman!" Ryder asked.

Matt turned to him. "A crazy woman? Did you find some other woman as soon as you dumped Julia? It didn't even take you a week this time!" Matt said.

"I definitely don't want to have anything to do with that crazy woman! Is there really a woman who isn't interested in me? I really want to know that!" Ryder yelled. Turns out he was still angry.

Matt could sense that something must have happened for Ryder to be this angry. "What happened? Did you try to charm her?" Matt asked.

"I only asked her for a simple favour and she called me a reporter and a stalking fan! What part of me looks like a reporter? How do I look like a fan of hers? Does she think that she is some kind of a celebrity?" Ryder asked.

As a PR director, Matt could already see that something has happened. Did Ryder run into a celebrity by some chance? Even if he ran into a celebrity, Ryder won't recognize her, he knew none of the artists who worked for him! "Did she tell you her name? If she is a celebrity, it makes sense that she should be worried about that" Matt said.

Ryder glared at his friend. Is he taking the side of that woman now? He doesn't even know her! "What celebrity? There is no way such a crazy woman can be a celebrity! Anyway she said that her name is Scarlett Kingston or something. Use all our PR resources to find that woman. I'll definitely make her pay for the insults that she gave to me today! Who the hell does she think that she is? Does she think that she can do whatever she wants?" Ryder asked.

Matt turned to Ryder. There was shock in his eyes. He immediately stopped the car. "What?! You met Scarlett Kingston?! " He asked. There was obvious shock written all over his face.

Matt stopped the car and turned to look at Ryder. Ryder really met Scarlett Kingston? He understood the fact that Ryder did not care about the company at all but how can he not know the most famous actress in the company right now? She earned most of the company's funds. How can the CEO of Helian Entertainment not know his most important actress? Is this for real? Matt stopped the car so he could look at Ryder. Is this man even for real tight now

"You met Scarlett Kingston? Are you telling me that the woman you met today told that her name is Scarlett Kingston ? I understand that you are not worried about the company but how can you really not know who Scarlett Kingston is? She is currently the biggest actress in the whole of Helain Entertainment. She earns most of the funds for the company! How can you not know that?" Matt asked. He really wanted to faceplam himself. What is wrong with Ryder? Does he hate the entertainment circle that much?

Ryder sighed. So she really is an actress. Well, that still did not change the fact that she had made fun of him and made him look bad. He is Ryder Thompson! In his entire life he has never felt this insulted! But that woman called him crazy! She said that he is a reporter and a stalking fan! Why on Earth will be possibly want to stalk a woman? Celebrity or not, he is definitely not going to let her go. He is going to make sure that that woman pays for what she did to him!

"I don't care if she is a celebrity or not! She completely insulted me and disregarded me! I even told her that I am the CEO of Helian Entertainment! But she did not believe me! She even said that I am the CEO then she is the daughter of the chairman. When have I ever had a sister like that? If she is a top celebrity at the company then she should know me right? But she doesn't know me! What kind of a celebrity is she? When did our company start signing women like that? She really is something!" Ryder said. He was so angry that he could not help complaining.

Matt sighed and started the car again. Well, he could not blame Scarlett for not knowing who Ryder is. For one thing, he is just the CEO in name. He never did any work. Between him and his father, the both of them took care of his work for him. And Scarlett, well that woman is really weird. She never dealt with the management of the company. She let her Manager take care of those things for her. She told him once that she doesn't want to get involved in things like that. She just wants to be an actress.

And besides, she never had any scandals before. So there was no need for her to meet the management. She managed her private life really well and the company did not need to get involved. "Well,it's not a surprise that she doesn't know you. You never do any real work in the company! You've never met any of our artists formally! So how can she know you? And besides, she doesn't get involved in the management of the company. She just lets her manager do it"Matt explained.

Ryder was getting even more angry. Is his friend taking the side of that woman right now? How can he take her side in front of him? She is a woman who insulted him and kicked him out of her car just because he asked her for a ride! How can he forget about that? In his entire life, he had never been that humiliated! Ryder originally thought that he would have to spend a lot of efforts to find her and make her pay for what she did to him but now that he knew that she is an actress signed with his company, it will be much more easier for him to get his revenge.

So what if she is some celebrity? All women are the same as far as he was concerned! He is just going to make her life difficult from now on! So she knows not to annoy him again. She may be a celebrity but he is still the CEO of Helain Entertainment. "So what if she is a popular celebrity? You don't know how much she humiliated me! I'm just glad that no one saw that. Who the hell does she even think that she is? It's good since she works for the company. I'm just going to make her life difficult from now on!" Ryder said. There was a sinister smile on his face.

Matt shook his head. This friend of his just doesn't know how to listen. He wants to make life difficult for Scarlett? Won't that affect his company then? He really doesn't know anything about management at all! "What? You want to make things difficult for Scarlett? I'll advice you not to do that. Really don't mess with her. If you do something to her it will end up affecting the company. Don't do anything stupid Ryder" Matt said. He felt like he was constantly cleaning up after this person.

Ryder scoffed. He did not take him seriously at all! He is going to do whatever he wants to that woman. He did not believe that there was someone who could stop him. Isn't she just some actress? He can definitely handle her. For the past five years, he had met with all kinds of women. He had dealt with all kinds of women. He did not believe that there was a woman he could not handle. Even if she is a celebrity! However, right now Ryder did not know that trouble was already brewing for the both of them.

Immediately Scarlett entered her house, she saw her mother waiting for her. She had obviously heard about how that blind date had gone and she was here to nag her because of it. Rose who was standing behind Scarlett nudged her and tried to tell her not to argue with her mother but Scarlett did not listen. Actually, deep down Rose knew that they might not be able to avoid an argument today. Scarlett did not want to have anything to do with any men but Vivian definitely won't have that. She is her only daughter, how can she live with that?

Scarlett walked over to the sofa and sat down. Her mother Vivian walked over to her and sat across her. Now they were both facing each other. Vivian did not say anything but Scarlett was already frustrated from the silence. What is this woman even doing right now? "Mom, what are you doing right now? I told you that I don't want to meet anyone yet you keep forcing me! And if you are going to find me a blind date you should do a good job of it right? How can you ask me to meet that idoitic guy? How does he even quality as handsome?" Scarlett asked. Immediately she mentioned the word 'handsome', the face of that idoit that got into her car flashed in her mind. Scarlett shook her head. Why is she thinking of him?

Vivian glared at her daughter. She really could not understand how her brain works at all. Why is she so against starting a relationship with someone? She is already twenty five years old this year! Even though she is an actress right now she possibly can't be an actress forever right? She still has to get married and she still has to start a family! How can someone even be like this? She just could not figure out what this daughter of her was thinking!

Vivian was an old fashioned woman and she believed that no matter how successful a woman is, she still has to get married and start a family. Her daughter is already twenty five, so why is she trying so desperately to avoid it? "Do you even know what you are talking about right now? Raymond Campbell is the son of the owner of Helian Entertainment! How can you insult someone like him like that? Do you know what I went through to get you that blind date? What do you really want Scarlett? Why can't you give him a chance?" Vivian asked. Raymond seemed to really like her and yet she completely insulted him.

Scarlett rolled her eyes. Her mother will never get what is going on in her mind. Scarlett knew what Vivian was thinking right now. She is a woman. No matter how successful she is, she can't be like this forever. She can't be a celebrity forever. She still has to get married, start a family and find a man to take care of her. But Scarlett did not think like this. As far as she was involved, it had absolutely nothing to do with her. Getting married, starting a family, all of those things had nothing to do with her at all!

She could support herself and her mother for the rest of her life so what does she need to get married for? Why does she need to bother herself with such useless emotions? She doesn't want to do it and her mother won't be able to force her! "Mom, I don't want to do any of that. I can definitely support myself for the rest of my life so why do I need someone else?
