Mara's Story: the quadri series

It's crazy how life begins with a cry

That stormy afternoon four cries were heard in the clinic, the Yera family were welcoming four children to the world, two identical and two fraternal, they looked so lovely and cute. Days became weeks and it was time for the naming ceremony, it wasn't easy taking care of them although it was still a thing of joy for them, many families in the storm city gathered to see the kids, who wouldn't when it was viewed as a prodigy birth because it hadn't been heard of before ; The two identical girls where Jada the first Quadri and Freda the second quadri-, the only boy was named Ceda the third quadri- and the fraternal girl named Mara, even though Mara was fraternal that did not stop her from being beautiful, with her long Curly brown hair, Soft and fragrant to Soothe her little Choco skinned face. The children had their various beautiful and handsome features which people admired, everyone were in anticipation to see their life journey for they believed it would be filled with wonder, the naming ceremony was filled with alot of extravagant decorations, tasteful dishes, expensive gifts for the quadri and happy faces.

The people took their turns in carrying the babies, some were even unwilling to part with them so they just stayed beside the next person who was to carry them but Mara burst out in tears soon, it was okay if 5 or 6 people carried her but not more she really didn't like it so she kept crying till her father came to carry her away

"you will be really clingy in the future won't you Mara?" He said while carrying her to the garden to take in a fresh breeze and she just giggled cheekily making him to laugh handsomely, he has really found his hand bag.

Later in the evening the occasion came to an end and the guests slowly dispersed leaving the Yera couple behind with the children and other occupants in the house.

Nema Yera their mother a very beautiful, loving and caring lady and Malik Yera their father was known to be handsome and even till date age did not hide that fact, the Yera family were known not only for their wealth but also for their Kindness, discipline and courage which is an honourable reputation.

The quadri soon started to grow as the years ran by quickly and before the blink of an eye five years had gone, the Yeras decided to celebrate the fifth birthday of the quadri- and sent out invitations to both the storm city dwellers and their business partners, Jada and Ceda were already able to talk fluently so they were so much branded the noisy ones because they made alot of noise during the celebration and also interacted more with the other kids compared to Freda and Mara who were still not able to pronounce certain words

Mara preferred to cling to her daddy because she knows daddy will always carry her and loves her the most while Freda preferred to watch television cause she knows that it would be more fun than conversing with other kids that might just give her a headache trying to repeat herself so they could understand what she is saying, she knows her speech is not polished enough so why bother.

The celebration was grand with alot of influential families coming to celebrate with them, each family got a gift befitting for each of the quadri and soon enough the gift space was filled up, Jada couldn't wait to tear open the gift boxes she really loved surprises but she had to behave and hold the eagerness in, it was a tough action for Jada but she promised to try.

During the Celebration the prestigious family of Gowa graced the occasion with their presence, the family of Gowa were known for their wealth, strictness and loyalty.

They were blessed with two beautiful daughters and a handsome son, all the children went ahead to the playroom to play leaving the living room for the adults, although exclusive of Mara who chose to remain in daddy's arms quietly, in the playroom filled with lots of toys Ikiris Gowa and Ceda Yera decided to fight over a particular black ball, they both wanted it and none of the boys were ready to relent, in the struggle process Ikiris slipped and almost fell to hit his head on the edge of the tiles but luckily Mara was able to pull him to fall on her towards the other side causing her to graze her elbow in the process, when Mara saw she was bleeding she cried out loudly, this really scared her.

The mothers who were catching up on the latest news about themselves heard the cry from the playroom and rushed to see what happened, Nema who saw Ikiris on top of the bleeding Mara got a little upset and separated the two in order to lift Mara up, she brought out the first aid kit and cleaned the wound up immediately thankfully it wasn't deep to leave a mark or need stitching

Sasha Gowa questioned her son about what happened "Ikiris son tell me what happened here hmm?"

"Ceda did not let the ball go" Ikiris responded pointing his finger towards Ceda

"that's not true, it's your fault besides it is my ball" Ceda wouldn't back down and argued back

"that's enough Ceda, you should learn to share somethings, look now your sister got injured in the process" Nema felt tired hearing the two boys argue relentlessly which made her realise it was a little blameless accident because they were all children

Sasha still wanted to thank Mara for the save so she went closer to her "darling, thank you they are both still so childish" she said mostly looking at her son with a little warning in her eyes then continued

"sorry, you got hurt in the process" she examined the elbow injury.

'This wouldn't do' she thought to herself, she was really grateful and to show her gratitude she gifted Mara with 5% of the Gowa shares

"since she saved my son's life just now I'll like to repay her selfless sacrifice so I want to give her 5% of the Gowa shares" she said to Nema while petting Mara's hair sweetly, the little girl looks really beautiful

Nema did not see it as something necessary since her son was partially the cause and this was their occasion "its just a childish instinct it is no big deal for you to feel so emotional about it"

but Sasha already made up her mind anyway and said "if Malik and Justin had not decided to go to the study to discuss some matters leaving Mara in the playroom the injury Ikiris would have sustained wouldn't be minor, do you know what would have happened to him? He might as well become a dummy" that thought really scared her.

He is her only son and heir to the Gowa group so she really couldn't imagine the disaster of loosing him.

Nema couldn't convince her so she left the matter and turned to Mara "how is it now baby?" She asked mimicking Mara's voice

"it okay mama, Mara a big girl" she said sweetly while blinking her pretty doll eyes, she had alot more resemblance to her husband compared to the other 3, Nema kissed the banded elbow and put her back on the floor

Mara did not want to stay in the playroom anymore and went to stay with Freda

"Freda look Mara hurt" she tells Freda

"what happen to you Mara?" She pulls Mara's elbow out to inspect it then blew some air on it, this action tickled Mara causing her to laugh but Freda did not know what caused her laughter and wondered if she also had a head injury maybe 'I'll ask mama later' she thinks to herself then hugs Mara to lean on her while they both continue watching the television

The birthday celebration came to an end late in the night but a new friendship began with the 3 years old Bali Gowa, who is the third child of the Gowas and Jada, Freda was reluctant to part from the television but she had to come out with Mara to bid the guests good bye to show their respect but not without gazing at Ikiris, she had already found out what happened when Mara told her, she knew her sister saved the boy but that might have might affected her too seeing the way she laughed earlier for no good reason, she really hopes her sister wasn't injured in her head.

The maids washed the quadri and Nema put the three to sleep, when she got to Freda's room

"mama is Mara okay?" Freda asked with her cute little voice and her eyes showing a little worry

"of course she is" Nema wasn't surprised with the question since Mara's bandaged elbow was very visible

"what about her head?" Freda asked again, she watched some shows in the television when they hit their head start behaving funny

"why did you ask baby?" Nema found it funny, Freda just stared at her so she replied "her head is fine too so go to bed okay" she says and kisses Freda goodnight and left the room. Freda decided to believe her mother's words and slept off.

Mara was put to sleep by her father but not without a little sulking

Malik had to pamper his Mara "why are you still sulking baby?"

Mara replied in her cute babyish voice with her eyes having little tears "dada leave me and Mara hurt really bad"

Nema couldn't control her laugh from the door "you really want my husband to be with you all the time don't you"

Mara said while pouting her caramel lips and pointing to her banded elbow "dada my angel, leave Mara for little and Mara hurt" then she looked at Malik and stretched out her baby arms for a hug "cuddle cuddle"

Malik obliged and gave his wife a pitiful look as if saying 'what can I do when you came again in a smaller version to me'

Nema smiled lovingly at him cause she knows that he meant she is just like Mara but in her adult version. Finally Mara fell asleep and she laid while cuddling her teddy,

Malik and Nema stepped out of the room holding each others waist "when last did you coax me to sleep Mal" Nema asked cutely

"you know I can coax you anyway you want, you just have to tell me which" he said pulling down his hands to rub her butt, this action made her blush really much, she always loves his touch anytime any day, it's been 7 years now in their marriage and everything is still as romantic and playful as it was in the beginning.

When they got to their room they showered together but not without Malik behaving nasty by rubbing Nema's butt cheeks and mounds especially, then kissing her deeply 'he really loved her alot, the past years weren't easy cause of the quadri, most of the time before they could get into the main deal one of them starts crying for food and Nema always insists on taking care of them herself not that he is complaining though but he really suffered blue balls most times' he thought to himself

"Nem love "

"hmm" she answered with the little sanity she could pull up cause this man was making her go up the roof top already, her body and its cells were reacting like it's the first time she is experiencing these actions 'it's really been long though' she thought to herself

"let's really reach the main deal tonight okay? Your husband here has been starving really long now" he said already horny and erect cause he really missed being inside his lovely wife

"yes love anything for you".

(Freda and Papa)

After the very long shower Malik had to carry his drained out wife to the bed after whipping her body and hair dry, he cuddled his naked wife to bed not forgetting to place his palms on his favourite place, her soft lovely mounds made for him 'tonight was really ecstasy in a long time now' he thought to himself dreamily and dozed off to sleep.

In the middle of the night strange noises were heard from the living room and it woke Malik up, he went down to check what was happening, he noticed little lights in the showroom and asked while walking towards it

"why is the television on at this time of the ni...." he saw Freda on the chair before he could finish his question

Freda who noticed a shadow in the showroom door was a little frightened at first before realising it was her father "papa papa it's fun fun" he chuckled at her little angelic voice sometimes he wonders if Freda knows there can be another kind of fun asides the television, the little girl still had alot of strength in her even after watching the television almost throughout the whole event, she really looked smallish and adorable when excited

She hops down from the chair and grabs her father's finger to pull him to sit next to her "it's fun come watch with me" she says while pulling her father to sit on the sofa then she rests on his lap and continues her show, although Malik found this behaviour cute he still had to control her television urge before it gets out of control and probably becomes an obsession so he pats on her hair dotingly

"Freda you can't wake up in the middle of the night to watch the television you know that right? Papa can overlook the ones in the day but not in the night okay? You are meant to be asleep "

" sorry papa, Freda counnot sleepy" , he smiled her voice could really melt a person's frozen heart

"don't worry papa will accompany you for the night but no next time okay?"

"Oki" she replied excitedly. Later on by 2am she fell asleep again and Malik carried her back to her room and laid her back on the bed then kissed her goodnight and returned to his room.

Nema was sleepy but she was a little conscious "what happened?" She felt his absence earlier when she turned around in the bed and couldn't really close her eyes again

"Just Freda who woke up to watch the television but she is asleep now" Nema goes closer to cuddle with her husband again who readily accepts her

"she really loves the television one day she might want to act" she giggled sleepily,

"well till then she should know the television is just another world" he uses his other hand to massage one of her breasts cause she was still stark naked after that their little exercise, she moaned, none of them could really get tired of the other.

(Gowas mansion)

They decided to stay back in storm city as a vacation before heading back to Lukas city where they Live. Although Justin had to travel back for a board meeting so Sasha decided to go shopping

" I am going to the mall down town so take good care the children" she addressed the maid servants

"yes mam Sasha" they replied in chorus Dami ran down stairs before Sasha left "mum let me come with you it's too boring indoors "she shouted hurriedly before reaching the last step,

"I'll be back soon so you can't follow me okay?" Dami was unhappy and Sasha had to appease her 8 years oldest child so she squeezed her cheeks not painfully though and said teasingly

"how will the two Ladies of the house be absent at the same time and who will take care of your siblings and the home, hmm?" Then she said again while patting her hair dotingly "mom will get you another car artefact okay?"

"I will stay back then mom, be quick okay? "Dami liked the idea

"Of course Sweetie, take care of yourself mummy loves you" she kisses Dami on the head

"love you too mum" Dami replied while waving her mom goodbye, Sasha stepped outside the mansion through the front door and entered the car back seat through the door opened by the driver and the car zoomed off.

Bali woke up and Dami brought her along to play in their play room, although this is a new environment the weather wasn't so bad but she wished her friends were around her too but she had no friends here,

"Bali what do you say crying really loud when mom comes home so we could leave this place?" She asked Bali hoping she would understand her but the little girl just kept looking at her with her bulging eyes

"never-ending Bali" she rolls her eyes and continued playing house with Bali.

Few minutes after Sasha left the mansion Ikiris woke up and burst out in tears startling Dami and the whole house downstairs, 'is that Ikiris crying? But he never cries' Dami thought to herself before calling to one of the maids to prepare the afternoon fruits while she strode upstairs to cuddle him

"mum mum, I want mummy waaaaa" Ikiris refused to stop crying

"mummy went shopping she will be back soon so stop crying Ikiris" Dami was tried explaining to him but he wouldn't budge and kept on insisting

"but I want mummy nowwwww woahhhh" Dami has tried coaxing him continually he just keeps crying, she felt tired. She called out to the maid she instructed earlier

"where are the fruits?" She raised her voice in a commanding tone before the maid rushed in and placed the plate of fruits on the bedside table

"here they are young lady Gowa" the maid answered in fear, the worst thing that could happen to the workers in the mansion was to enter the young lady's black book

"why were you so slow? Do you feel relaxed because mother isn't home? Don't forget that I can get you fired too so just tell me when you get tired of the job I'll gladly let you off" Dami says with her voice speaking authority

"you can leave now or do you want to join us for fruits?" Sometimes she wonders if the maids were growing old

"bring Bali up too" she says to the maid who hurriedly left the room

'Is it so difficult to understand that walking through the stairs can take time? They wouldn't dare use the elevator that was made for the owners' the maid thought to herself feeling offended

Back in the room Ikiris had already stopped crying when he saw the colourful fruits, Dami was glad and decided to dish out some for him

"here you go" she said while handing him a plate and fork, few seconds later the maid from earlier walked back in with Bali placed her on the bed and left hurriedly she did not want to make room for more complaints

Dami who noticed this just scoffed and rolled her eyes then dished out some fruits for Bali "here you go Bali" Bali excitedly takes the fruits in the plate

"yum yum yum" she says sweetly causing both Dami and Ikiris to laugh Dami felt happier seeing this she really love staying together with her siblings and hoped her mother will come back home sooner than later.

It was afternoon already and mum wasn't still back, Dami really had a tough time coaxing Ikiris thankfully he stopped crying when the maid brought the fruits, later on a BMW M5 with the plate number 4444 drove in through the mansion gates, and Malik alighted from the car and strode into the Mansion

"where are the children?" he asked the butler who welcomed him at the front door

"they are in the play room Master Yera" the butler answered respectfully

"call them out for me" Malik said a little hurriedly

"hope all is well Master Yera" the butler asked sensing the worries in Malik's eyes

"yes, Justin asked me to bring them over to play with the other kids since they are new to this place and they might be bored" Malik said, he really did not like talking much but he had to explain because the butler was kind of the kids guardian since their parents were not home at the moment.

"I'll go get them right away, please make yourself comfortable while I send for them" the butler replied happily, it would be nice for the children to go out and have fun since that was what they stayed back for

Malik was really deep in thoughts when a maid walked up to him and placed a little refreshment in front of him but he did not notice this if not he would have rejected it since he was in a hurry.

A few minutes later a little noise pulled him out of his thoughts and he saw the three kids walking towards the living room

"Good day to you uncle Malik" they all said together

''Come to uncle and give him a hug" Malik opened his arms waiting for his hug but only Bali goes ahead to hug him, the rest of the two just bows a little, he carried her up playfully causing her to laugh cheekily

"uncle mawuk again again" he smiled at her then turned his attention to the two other kids

"how would you all like to spend the rest of your day in my mansion hmm?" Malik asks the kids enthusiastically only for Dami to say

"you don't have to worry about us being bored mother will soon be back"

Ikiris also added "yeah Mama will soon be back and we are not bored" he had not really accepted to go back there after he almost hit his head badly the other day, he resented Ceda a little, that kid was really troublesome so he would prefer to stay in his own space than go there who knows what Ceda might do again

Malik was already out of ideas to make them follow him till he remembered a very helpful fact which made him relieved, he faced Bali "how would you love to ride in uncle mawuks car back to his mansion to see Jada it's been a while see you last saw each other" he hoped this would be more convincing,

Bali blinked her eyes as if trying to digest his words then replied "yeah yeah jada jada" Bali replied excitedly

"you want to see jada yeah?" Bali nodded a yes happily and he replied "okay" Malik already made a move to go out then turned to the other two kids "do you have anything to pick up?" seeing their little sister excited to go they decided to compromise and go with them at least till their mother comes to get them.

(The Yeras Mansion)

Back in the Yeras mansion

The maids and other workers were busy around the house and Mara who always looks through the window every time a car drives in to check if her dad has returned saw Malik's car drive in through the mansion gates making her very excited she ran downstairs before her daddy's car arrived at the front door

"dada dada" Mara calls out excitedly she waited at the front door patiently till her father's car arrived at the front door but seeing her dad come out of the car carrying a little girl made her sad because her dada always catches her excited jump whenever he returns but today he couldn't catch her.

Malik noticed his daughter's sad face and knew why she was sad but he really had no time to pet her cause he was in a hurry so he pet her head and led her back into the house with Ikiris and Dami following suit

"prepare Lunch and Serve" he ordered one of the maids while putting Bali down on the sofa then called out to Nema who was just coming down the stairs

"welcome back love" she kissed him on the Lip

"am not completely back I'll still head out love, take care of the Kids" he replied with a little hurry

Nema noticed the worried look in his eyes but decided to oblige first of all seeing that he was in a hurry she will have later tonight to find out the issue because she felt uneasy

"take care of yourself I'll explain later" he says a little hurriedly and kisses her forehead and heads back into the car at the front door forgetting to hold or even kiss Mara goodbye.

Dami and Ikiris joined Bali on the sofa and Nema welcomed them "don't worry you'll have fun here okay?" She tried to sound welcoming sometimes she doesn't know how to appease other children cause she doesn't know their behaviours then she continued "I'll go get the others downstairs so you all can go to the play room together" the kids just nods their head and Bali just kept playing with the pillows she sighed and went ahead to call her children

Mara watched her dada's car drive off and pouted with a new thought in her head thinking 'dada Don like Mara animur'. Nema saw her sulking daughter near the front door and carried her up

"Mara you should learn to be considerate with dada okay? Dada really has a lot of work and he still loves you he just can't accompany you every time my baby" she tried to explain to the little Mara better not knowing if she understands what she just finished saying but Mara just blinks her eyes and nods a yes

"then let me kiss you instead of daddy hmmm" Nema then places lots of kisses all over her face playfully making Mara to laugh loudly.

"Madam Yera the lunch is served in the dining hall" the maid informed Nema who carried Mara and led the Seven children to the hall, Bali sat in-between Jada and Freda who sat at the left side of her mother who sat on the chair at the head of the table opposite Mara who sat at the other end because she wants to be close to daddy since he was not present at the table, Ceda sat at the other right side of their mother then Dami sat in-between him and Ikiris.

Launch was served with different dishes not excessive but appetising both to the eyes, nose and mouth, Dami did not feel really comfortable eating without her mother so she did not eat much and Bali who was accustomed to either daddy or mummy feeding her just kept staring at the food on her plate. Nema noticed this but did not know if the food wasn't to her taste or if she wasn't just hungry so she had to ask Dami

"Dami dear why does Bali not eat her food, does she not eat such dishes?"

"Aunty Nema, Bali prefers mummy or daddy feeding her that's why" Dami answers her back respectfully

"ohh so she is playing her last born roles so diligently" Nema replied with a chuckle before stretching out her hands to lift Bali up, after Bali had been fed to her fill she slept off.

A while later in the evening the mansion phone rang, "someone get the phone quickly" Nema sounded a little irritated with the slowness of the maids sometimes, the phone sound might wake Bali up.

"The Yeras mansion" one of the maids picked the call up and said

"I want to speak with Nema this is Justin Gowa" the caller said

"Right away Master Gowa" the maid replies while heading to give Madam Nema the phone .

"Nema" the caller said
