Early winter, my punishment is over. I am back in my usual room. It's not as big as Gisella's room or the other sisters' rooms, but it's still worth living in. Yes, this is just like my room in my previous life. I've been in this world for three months now. In another dimension.
"I don't want to die, so I'm not obsessed with magic."
I put on my coat, today was the time to see the male lead that all noble ladies desire.
I also packed some bread and fruit. I bet he doesn't eat well.
"Hey, Lilyana,"the deep voice of a young man who had just grown up. It was Kleand Van Bearc. My biological brother and also a cold young man who loves Gisella more than his own sister.
"What is it?"I asked flatly.
"Where are you going?"
"Where the slaves are."
Kleand chuckled a little, then said with a dark face,"Yes, that place suits you."
Then Kleand left after saying a sentence that made me angry.
"Anjir. It's really useless to ask,"i muttered quietly. Then I went to the meeting place with my favorite main character.
"If I hadn't become a cruel mage, I wouldn't have been killed..."
I stopped my sentence,"I will be killed anyway,"I whispered. My joy vanished instantly when I remembered the true plot.
The big fact I had overlooked. Gerald was the son of the Empress, who was killed by the Emperor's only concubine, who was a close cousin of the Grand Duke Bearc. Gerald learned of this from his teacher, Marquis Ghana. Grand Duke Van Bearc also intervened. Gerald's presence at the Grand Duke's residence was no accident either, but because the Grand Duke knew his identity. He tried to keep Gerald as a slave to prevent him from taking the throne. Gerald's revenge was not only for his mother's death, but also for the Grand Duke's family, who continued to torture him. Including Lilya.
"Huh! It's really cold, there's no such cold weather in Indonesia. It's really not normal,"i rubbed my hands covered with bear fur gloves. It feels so cold. Even though it was covered with thick cloth.
"Hey, boy,"the voice came from the slave area, which was only a few meters away from where I was now. I spontaneously stopped running. I immediately hid behind the barrier of the slave area. I saw Gisella torturing a fifteen-year-old teenager who had fallen on the snow. Black hair and pale blue eyes, blue eyes that began to close with the eyelids. I immediately ran to Gisella.
"Sister! Stop!"I speak. I don't know where this courage comes from. I came out of hiding with an angry face. It's good that he tortured my handsome main character. The girl was always looking for trouble, so it was only natural that Gerald killed her cruelly.
"Hey, you want to interfere? You want to be a hero? Can you really fight me?"Gisella asked arrogantly.
I looked at the black-haired child who had fainted,"he fainted, let him go."
"Huh! Not interesting,"Gisella looked at the lying slave with contempt and condescension. "He's too weak to play with,"she said before leaving the slave area.
Play? You are mad! Torturing children is called playing? It's groundless! She should be treated psychologically. This is the reason why parents are not good at delegating many things to children, so they are stupid.
Gisella left the slave area. I looked around where the other slaves were frightened by Gisella's tantrum. Although Gisella is beautiful, she is very evil and cruel. Yes, the face does not necessarily reflect the heart.
"Hey,"i called to the teenager who had just been tortured by Gisella.
"Um, miss. It looks like he's badly hurt. And totally unconscious,"an older slave said. I blinked. I stared at an old man who was obviously also a slave. There is no young or old, this residence of the Grand Duke is extremely cruel. Everyone is tortured. The contents of this house are all psychopaths.
"Could you please bring him in?"I asked the older slaves.
"Good,"Someone who was quite young helped lift the teenager's battered body.
***
I sighed. Goosebumps ran down my entire body at the sight of the bruises and wounds on Gerald's body. I did everything I could to treat them. For a moment I noticed that handsome face. Sitting next to the young man sleeping on a haystack.
"Black hair,"I muttered. I came closer again. Forced to open his eyes, I found a golden yellow pearl, the eyes had changed color.
"That's Gerald, right?"I asked again, still a little surprised to find him so easily. I walked out of the hut. I stared at every slave who was doing their activities. There are no other teenagers besides him.
"Gerald! I found you,"I exclaimed happily and turned to Gerald who was still unconscious. Then I took out all the food I had brought and placed it next to the teenager. Gerald was fifteen years old when he entered this dormitory. Five years older than me.
"Hurry and be the best hero. I hope you won't kill me later, but I don't want to change fate because I don't know what the consequences will be if I make a mistake and cause bad effects for you. At least I will die with a stab from your sword and in a state of whole, not in the form of ashes."
Then I left the hut. I left Gerald still closed.
"Don't tell the boy I'm here,"i said to the old man. The man nodded briefly with a smile.
"Here's some food for you,"I gave the bread I brought to the other slaves before I left.
"Thank you, Miss."
****
The eyelids opened to reveal the royal family's signature golden pearl. The teenager sat down on the straw on which he had just slept. The hut he would be living in for a while looked very comfortable.
His grip hardened. He took a deep breath before picking up a vial of blue liquid potion. He drank a little from the bottle, then his eyes slowly turned a beautiful bright blue.
"I still need time. Mother, I will avenge your death,"he murmured.
Gerald turned around. There was hard bread and fruit next to it. He took the food, looked at it carefully, then sniffed it.
"No poison,"he muttered, then ate the bread with sweet, fresh apples with a feeling of emptiness.
"Grand Duke Bearc."
There was indeed still a blood relation to the Empire. The Duchy of Bearc did indeed have tremendous power in this Hearl Empire. Its military was as strong and numerous as the empire, and the territory it controlled was almost half of the empire. However, the Grand Duke's greed now made all security disappear. He brought his close cousins into the palace, killed the former Empress, and continued to do things behind the Emperor's back for more power. However, that person was still the emperor's confidant after what he did back there.
"Bastard,"Gerald whispered.
But in fact, the Empire was just as greedy, as soon as Grand Duke Bearc proposed to his cousin, the people of the Empire immediately accepted it, because of course it was very advantageous, a relationship with equal power would make the existing power even stronger, but it could happen, it's devastating. Like the heat of a fire, when added to the heat, it will burn everything, even iron that is hard to destroy.
****
In a simple room for a noble lady, Lyana sat in front of a large window with a view of the night. She was hunched over, pen and paper in her hands.
"Argh!"Liana yelled in frustration because her handwriting was so bad. "I'm not used to using a pen like this, huh!"she annoyed with casual language.
Even though he was complaining, she was still writing. Using letters of the alphabet not yet known in this world, she deliberately kept the contents of the writing secret. Because the content of the writing is about her plans in this world.
"I have found the male main character who is undercover, from now on I have to give him more food so that he can be healthy. Then make sure he doesn't get bullied too much by Gisella, but when you meet, you have to be mean to Gerald."
Liana read the contents of the letter she had written. Only the first paragraph about saving the main male character. But as she read it, Lyana felt uncomfortable. She has to be evil? Although not evil? Well, it couldn't be helped, it was for the sake of not tampering with absolute destiny.
"Then about Sicily's death. After that woman's death, I'll suffer more than now, so I have to make sure that death doesn't happen."
The ten-year-old boy was silent. She remembered the goal that said she didn't want to change the plot, then she avoided Sicily's death instead? Isn't that the same as changing fate?
"Don't you have to do this plan?"she asked herself.
"But all this time, Sicily..."
"Honey? Are you asleep?"the sound came from outside the room. Liana's attention was immediately diverted.
"She's the only one in this world who cares about me,"Lyana added in a low voice. Then she got up from the chair and went to the door. Open it then. In front of Lyana stood a beautiful woman, smiling warmly. She gave her a warm cloak.
"Wear this, the old one is worn out,"she said.
"Father will scold Mother when she finds out that Mother gave it to me,"Lyana replied softly.
"Just a coat to keep you warm, that's nothing, Lily," Sicily said warmly,"Why are you still not asleep, hm?"The woman stroked the top of Liana's head. It was soft and warm.
Lyanna smiled faintly. Then she held Sicilia's hand,"I want to sleep with you, is that okay?"
"Sure,"Sicily replied happily.
That night, Lyana slept on her mother's lap. Something that was so sweet and that Liana really missed. Sicily's melodious voice sounded like a comforting lullaby.
Such a mother, I only want her, can I be a little greedy to keep her by my side? Lyana thought before closing her eyes.
"Mother, I love you, I love you very much, don't go, okay?"Liana's soft voice became the cover of her sleep.
Sicily smiled. She stroked Lyana's golden hair again. The ten-year-old child was deep in sleep.
"Mother will always be there for you, Lyana,"the Sicilian's smile faded. She took Lyana's tiny hand, which was pale and scratched. The girl's feet were the same. I will also free you from these eerie shackles, my child, you will be able to use magic,"Sicilia continued in her heart.
In the story I created, Sicily travels north to meet a great wizard who is only a legend, but some people still believe in his existence, including Sicily herself. The great wizard was hundreds of years old, the great wizard who Sicily thought could answer everything that happened to Lilyana. However, Sicily actually died in a carriage accident on her way to the northern region.
Now all I have to do is come up with a plan to keep Sicily out of the carriage.
By sea? But it's winter, there are often storms at sea. Besides, the weather has been very bad lately. If you still ride in a carriage and walk carefully, maybe you can? Or change the story?
The butterfly effect might help. I left the room immediately. I approached Sicily's room.
"Mother?"My voice was greeted warmly by Her. She smiled at me. She replied in such a soft voice.
Sicily's warm voice didn't match the cold atmosphere of the room, because of the presence of Gisella and Hars Van Bearc, Gisella's siblings. They are from the same mother.
"Mother!"the voice came from Kleand, who came into the room, deliberately pushing my shoulder. Patience, Lyanna, patience.
"What is it, daughter?"Sicily's soft voice made me smile.
"Mother, can I come with you to the North?"i asked.
"Huh?! You came to talk about this nonsense, Lilyana Van Bearc?"Harry's loud voice echoed. He was clearly not pleased.
Sicily smiled wryly,"Hars,"she said in a low voice. Gosh, where is someone who wakes up with such a soft voice?
The child doesn't know hersef, she should have realized who her child is here. Hars' mother died of an illness, after which Sicily took over the role of Hars' and Gisella's mother. However, the duchess's place remained empty. Mother, remain concubine. Irritating.
"Mother, can I come with you?"i whined.
"What do you want there, Lyana?"she asked.
"Go with mother,"I replied.
"You'll only burden Mother,"Gisella scoffed.
"Anyway, this journey is long too, so you need a friend. Maybe Lyana can do it."
"Instead of Lyana, if you need a friend on a journey, I'd be better,"Gisella said.
These three really are bullies. My jaw clenched in anger. But my mouth remained closed because I couldn't say anything more. I glanced at Sicily, who was staring dubiously.
"Lyana will come, only Lyana,"Sisilia said. I smiled triumphantly at the three rats.
****
Day of departure. We rode in the carriage. I walked up to the carriage with a small bag and a coat that Sisilia had given me. I walked around the carriage to see if there were any defects.
"Lily,"called Sicily, who had come with Grand Duke Bearc--Cleo Van Bearc.
"Mother and Father!"i bowed my head in greeting.
Cleo looked at me coldly. Then he examined every inch of me.
"You are so small,"he said. He said with a flat voice and narrowed eyes.
Sicily laughed awkwardly,"she is still ten years old, Master,"Sicily replied.
Even at ten, my body is small, Mother. All because of lack of food. And that is the rule of this asshole family. Except for Mother.
I looked at Cleo, who was cold. I hadn't seen him for a long time. The last time we met was when there was a problem with poison in the food, for which I became a suspect, even though it was Gisella's doing. Fortunately it's not a deadly poison, it only causes dizziness and fever for a day. The victim is Hars. Although her own biological sister, yes, Gisella is mad.
"Some slaves will come with you,"says Cleo.
Three slaves appear, one of them is Gerald. I was a little surprised, but at the same time happy to be watching them.
"Mother, hurry back,"Kleand said.
Sicily smiled and stroked Kleand's head. Gisella and Hars also said goodbye.
After all the disgusting farewell rituals, Sicily and I boarded the carriage. Once on board, Sicily held my tiny hand and stroked the scar on my right arm.
I looked outside the carriage. Gerald was walking barefoot with two slaves. Even though the weather was cold and they had walked very far. I had just noticed earlier that they came out barefoot with only used coats to protect them from the cold.
"Mom,"I called.
Sicily turned with a warm smile. My heart fluttered at that moment. Ah, she is my beautiful and kind mother.
"What is it?"
I took out some shoes. Just ordinary sandals I made from wool thread. They're for inside the house. But when I see the condition of the three slaves outside, including Gerald. I feel very sad. Their feet must hurt.
Mine aren't bad. Yes, of course, the small hands of a ten year old could not make the knitting strong enough. Since they break easily, I carry five at a time, just in case. Out of the five, I took three pairs of knitting shoes. More specifically, socks.
"Could you give them to the three slaves, Mother? I can't bear to see them barefoot. It's made of wool thread, it's small, but it must be quite stretchy for all three of them."
"Why not you?"asked Sicily with her gentle smile.
I was silent for a moment. Then I chuckled awkwardly,"Never mind, Mother, just give it to me,"again I'm silent. Think of a clear and strong reason.
"It would be really scary if the knights told Father about me later. You know that, don't you? Every little thing I do is being watched. It's like being a prisoner. That's why Father's subordinates are coming with us."
Sicily laughed. While I made an embarrassed face. Actually, I was really upset about the treatment of the Bearc family. Besides being watched by spies, I was also like this because I wanted to play a role. I don't want to change the fate of Gerald. I want everything to go well and there to be no problems in the future. My goal is just to live quietly with Sicily.
My hair is useful too, I thought as I saw Sicily start to open the carriage window. Dan began to stare at Gerald and the other two slaves.
"Daughter,"Sicily called to a teenage girl with brown hair tied in a bun.
"Yes, madam?"she answered quickly. She smiled with a sweet face.
"Wear these to protect your feet,"Sisilia said, handing her the three knitted sandals.
I could hear the girl's happy exclamation from inside the carriage. Except for Gerald and someone more mature than Gerald. Still, Gerald and one of his quiet friends were using what Liana had given them. It's not for nothing that I learned to knit from my grandmother in a previous life to kill boredom, in this world I'm bored too, so I asked for wool yarn from Sicily and made this. Even ....
I looked at Sicily. Right around her neck is a beautiful scarf I made. Sicily warms the torso. Ah, Sicily always manages to make me miss my mother in a past life, a mother who had gone somewhere the day I died.
"Mom, I love you!" I cried happily. Fate is good, its plans are always good, even if my plans are a little strange.
The wind suddenly blew hard. I entered the carriage room. I, who was hugging Sicily, was stunned, the memory of the train accident made me panic immediately.
I put my head through the train window and looked around. We are on the border of the territory of the Duchy of Bearc. There is a small, cozy village here. In front of us is a ravine that the road to pass is full of snow.
"Mother!"I shouted, startling everyone.
"What's wrong, Lily?"Sicily shouted in panic as well.
"Stop, we spent the night in the village earlier! Please turn the carriage around. Mother, there's still time tomorrow, at least until the wind stops. I'm afraid there will be a storm or an avalanche near these mountains."
Unconsciously, my tears flowed because of this fear. I was so afraid, I couldn't imagine that the Sicily I loved the most would leave us so tragically.
Sicily sighed when she heard the successive explanations that quickly came out of my little lips. The woman stroked her head and smiled. Then she did as I asked. The train turned back to the village.
We spent the night in a luxury inn in the village. Yes, for a small village it is quite luxurious. We stop there. I had dinner with Sicily.
"Clean your body and rest,"Sisilia said. As soon as we finish eating.
I nodded. Then I left Sicilia's room. From the beginning, after remembering his death, I didn't want to let go of Sicily. I'm afraid the slightest carelessness could be fatal.
"I'm just taking a shower, mother's in the room too. She will be fine,"I muttered all the way to the bathroom.
I entered the bathroom, but someone bumped into my body. The dress I was wearing was wet from the hot water that person brought. I looked up, wanting to be angry, but that person was Gerald.
I was silent for a moment. The teenager immediately looked down apologetically. He's so handsome!
"Be the antagonist"
Suddenly, I remembered my intention. But I don't know what to do to be the antagonist.
"Slap,"I whispered.
Doubtfully, I raised my hand. For the first time in two lives, I was violent. I reflexively closed my eyes as my hand landed roughly on Gerald's cheek. Her voice was so clear it hurt. My hands hurt too. It must hurt. Aaah! My main character!
"Be careful next time!"i snapped haltingly and stiffly. You stupid, i said.
I immediately ran to the bathroom. Standing on shaking legs. My hands are shaking too.Mom, I hit someone,"i whispered, already scared and shaking.
"And it's my favorite male lead, huh, his handsome face was hurt," cowered in the corner of the room. Soon I heard the sound of water running in the bathtub. I stood with a cautious face, thinking it was Gerald, embarrassed if the young man heard what I said.
It turned out to be a brown-haired slave, he smiled at me as soon as our eyes met.
"The water is ready, miss,"he said in a low voice.
I nodded. Then he helped me undress, his face startled at the sight of my red feet. It's from the hot water.
"Y-your feet--"
"That..."i thought for a moment whether I should answer as myself or as the antagonist.
"That, because of a careless slave boy! He spilled hot water near me, my feet became like this,"yes, in the end I became the arrogant one, the antagonist.
"Oh, that boy! Miss, take a shower first, then I'll rub some medicine on your feet, Miss."
The brunette sister quickly ran out of the bathroom. Ignoring me prevented it.
****
I finished, in a warm dress, sitting by the fire. It's so comfortable.
"Miss!"the brunette nurse arrives with Gerald. I'm speechless. Gerald's face was flat and his eyes sharp. Filled with vengeance as he looks at me.
"W-what's wrong?"I asked.
God, why do I always stutter when I'm shocked or nervous?!
"Let's treat your wound."
The brunette nurse had already crouched down in front of me as soon as she said that. I'm speechless. I couldn't see the elder crouching in front of me. I quickly crouched down in front of him as well.
"I'm shy,"i squeaked.
"Why?"the brunette sister asked.
"I'll just treat it. I'm afraid it will hurt,"i argued when I realized that the previous sentence sounded ridiculous. I just don't want him to bow down before me.
"No, Miss! I will treat it,"the girl in front of me refuses.
I close my eyes. I don't know what to do, I don't like older people bowing down like that. I'm not a cruel person thirsting for respect and power.
"Stand up! I told you, didn't I? I'll just treat you! Didn't you hear?!" I shouted, immediately grabbing the drug.
The brunette nurse was shocked.
"Go!"i snapped again. Gerald pulled the older sister's hand away. Wait! Gerald grabbed the girl's hand? Cold Gerald?!
As far as I remember, this character doesn't exist in the story, but Gerald has empathy for this woman, don't tell me the butterfly effect is really like that?! Don't tell me Gerald likes her?!
Liana's small steps became faster. She ran with a feeling of fear that still haunts Her. The butterfly effect she wished for to save Sicily...
"Mother?"Her tiny hand knocked on the bedroom door.
-Fail?
"Mother?"she called out again, Her voice shaking.
"Madam left some time ago, after Mademoiselle entered the room, she received a letter and left in a hurry,"the innkeeper said.
Lyana was shocked, she froze, it was hard to speak. Lyana turned her head to the maids serving Sicily. Her look was so clear that Lyana was now very angry.
"Why don't you stop it?"she shouted in frustration like a madman. The girl's eyes reddened with tears.
"You stupid!"Lyana cursed.
Her footsteps immediately rushed out of the inn. Searching for Sicilia, hoping to catch up. Barefoot. The knights standing guard in front of the inn were surprised to see Lyana just run out. Running like crazy, out of control.
"Miss!"shouted one of Sicily's loyal knights. His name is Dave Hawl.
Lyanna stopped in her tracks.
"Sir Dave?"She turned with bloodshot eyes and frozen breath.
"Where are you going?"asked Dave as he took off his robe and put it on Liana, then moved to carry Liana's small body. But the little girl stepped back. She refused Dave's treatment.
"Miss?"
"Why are you here?! Who is taking care of Mother?! Why did you let Mother go out into the snow?!"Lyana's scream was so loud it startled Dave. Lyana is a quiet girl and never has been. Lyana's face was clearly panicked, frightened, and angry.
The more Lyana became angry, the stronger the snow wind became. Things were getting out of hand in the courtyard of the inn. The Tribulation Knights remained standing due to the strong wind, which blew away almost all of the snow.
"No-miss, let's go inside first, the weather is bad."
"I can't go in, Mother is outside in the middle of a storm. I'm not going to stay quiet,"Lyana said, finally running through the storm. She ignored all the panicked cries from behind her.
Liana's petite shadow was lost in the thick blizzard. Dave was confused, then he immediately ordered his troops to go after Liana.
"Sir, I want to come with you,"said Jennie, a brown-haired slave. The one who was with Liana in her room.
"No,"Gerald stopped her. Gerald's blue eyes tried to stop Jennie from staying.
"But Miss is in danger,"Jennie replied. It was obvious she was worried, Lyana was a little girl. She was the daughter of a noble, but no different from slaves. Her family's behavior is bad, that's why Jennie is a little worried about Lyana.
"If you come along, it will only add to the burden,"the silver-haired Asher replied. The quiet one, more mature than Jennie and Gerald. Guard Gerald during his mission of revenge.
"We'll do it,"Gerald suggested. He assigned himself and Asher to go after Liana.
"You stay here."
****
"Moms!"Lyana shouted all the way. Having gone far enough, her steps began to slow. Tired and cold. The storm subsided as she fell to the ground.
"Miss!"this cry made the little golden-haired girl turn her head. Only then did he realize that something was wrong. Lyana stood up and took three steps back. She found the body of the carriage.
Lyana's hands trembled as she picked up the shard. Tears fell as her mind claimed it was part of the carriage Sicily was driving.
"Why are you so stubborn, mother? Why do you want me to gain magical powers?"Liana walked slowly to the edge of the ravine. The road next to the ravine is accident prone.
Down there, you can clearly see the wrecked wagons. Some of them are already covered with snow. Lyana, however, could see the injured parts of Sicily's body.
"Miss!"Dave immediately carried Liana, who was sitting on the snow. "Your body is very cold,"he said quietly. He covered Liana's body with another cloak. And he hugged the girl with great concern. For when Sicily left the inn, Liana's responsibility was in her hands.
"Sir Dave,"Lyana whispered. She hugged Dave's large body, trembling and holding back tears.
"Mother slipped,"Lyana added.
Dave was immediately stunned. He approached the ravine where Lyana sat alone, slowly looking down into the abyss where she immediately found a Sicilian carriage below.
The young man's arms tightened around Lyana.
"The lady's carriage has derailed!"he shouted. The knights came immediately. Some of the locals also helped. All came immediately to hear Dave's voice.
"Sir, let me take her,"Asher said to Dave, who was still holding the limp and helpless Lyana.
Dave turned to the eighteen-year-old boy. Then he looked back at Lyana, who had fainted. Dave also handed Lyana to Asher. He had to help evacuate Sicily.
"Keep her warm,"Dave ordered.
****
"Lyana? My daughter? Get up. When will you sleep?"The soft voice greeted Lyana's ears. So pleasant to hear.
"Lyana! Take your medicine! Don't run around at school later. If you're still naughty, I'll tell father to invite a private tutor!"that scream, a different voice than before, but just as Lyana longed to hear.
Lyanna opened her eyes. Her name is Lyanna. In modern life and in the novel, she has the same name. In the fictional world she created, why did Lyana give her name to the antagonist?
Because the life of a girl named Lyana is a reflection of her life in the modern world. The difference is that in the modern world she becomes a girl with a weak heart, in the novel world she becomes a girl with weak magic. But Lyana is the daughter of a respected person from both of these lives. Receives no affection because her father prioritizes healthy siblings over hersf. In this lonely life, Lyana has only one mother figure.
Lisa, in Modern Life.
Sicily, in the novel.
Lisa died in an accident while Lisa was in her boutique, having heard the news that Lyana was in intensive care. Immediately leave in a hurry. While Sicily died in an accident because she wanted to awaken the magical powers of her child.
The lives of these two mothers are also the same, the affection is the same.
"Lyana? Are you awake?"Sicily sat in front of Liana with her usual sweet smile.
"Yes,"Lyanna replied. With a forced smile. It felt like a dream. Or...
"You are well now,"The voice turned Liana's gaze to Lisa.
-Is this exactly the dream?
Lyanna nodded,"But I'm someone else now, mother."
"Whoever you are, you are still my daughter," Lisa and Sicily said together.
"Sorry for not being a good boy! Sorry for not being able to protect you, Mother!"Lyana cried and hugged Sicily and Lisa. She really wanted to turn back time, prevent Sicily from leaving, if not both, then one of them had to survive. But she failed.
"Live well, your magic has awakened my child," Sisilia said in Lyana's arms.
"You are not ill, be happy, my son,"Lisa added. After kissing Lyana's forehead, the two faded from sight.
"Mom, Mom, what are you doing? Mom, no! Don't leave me! It's scary in here! Mom?!"cried Lyana, who was busy grabbing the light grains from Sisilia's and Lisa's flying bodies.
****
"Miss? Miss!"Lyana opened her eyes. Tears streamed down the little girl's face. Lyana woke up crying. A beautiful and sad dream greeted her.
Completely sober. Liana immediately made a face of panic.
"Where's mother?!"asked Liana quickly.
"On her way to a funeral,"Jennie replied.
"I-I want to see Mother!"Lyana wanted to get up but couldn't. Her feet didn't feel anything.
"Your feet were numb for a while from freezing," Jennie explained quietly.
"Hah!"Lyanna curled up. She buried her face in the folds of her hands and feet.
"Sorry, Mother. I'm a useless child,"she whispered.
