Chapter 1 Negative Coverage

"Mmm..."

Eva Everett's mind went blank. What was going on?

Her slender waist was tightly held while a strange man kissed her cherry lips. The sensation was not soft but icy cold.

This was her first kiss!

No, that was not the point, but the clicking cameras all around sent a shiver through her. Those professional lenses threatened to capture every movement of the man and her.

Now... she couldn't afford to have any more negative rumors!

In a few seconds, Eva finally came back to her senses and tried desperately to push away the molester. However, the man wrapped his hand around her slender waist so tightly so that she couldn't break free.

"Don't move if you want to live."

The man knitted his eyebrows, tightened his grip, and turned to block the paparazzi's cameras. As his mouth moved away from the lips of the panic-stricken woman, he gave her a warning look and sounded as cold as Satan.

Her body was so soft that the man wouldn't tear her hand away from her waist.

"Enough for your shooting? Now get lost." He turned around and snapped.

His voice was attractive, but his temperament was naturally awe-inspiring.

"Excuse me... may I ask if Mr. Koch and Ms. Everett are dating?" Despite his fear, a paparazzo wouldn't like to miss such big news!

They came here upon hearing popular star Clara Russo's attendance and then bumped into Mr. Koch. On top of that, they got such breaking news that they could easily hit the headlines!

"Eva?" The man looked at someone who seemed to be his subordinate, and his lips moved slightly. The others didn't hear him, but his secretary obviously read his lips.

"Mr. Koch, her name is Eva Everett, a third-rate starlet..." The secretary whispered in his ear.

"I don't want to read any improper coverage tomorrow." The man cursed inwardly, "Or, you'll regret it."

Those paparazzi look at each other in speechless despair. The news was forbidden to release? What should they do with the photos? The news could bring them a lot of money!

Mr. Koch somehow dated a third-rate starlet at a hotel and kissed in public. One photo of the scene could easily sell at tens of thousands of yuan!

But they couldn't afford to offend the Koch Family...

"Get lost." The man slightly opened his sexy thin lips and spat. Though reluctant, those paparazzi had to grit their teeth and turn away.

Still badly shaken, Eva looked at the tall figure and paled. What was it?

She was here to meet James Dotson. How did things turn out like this?

After those annoying flies left, Matt Koch turned around and measured the woman with such eyes as if she was a commodity.

A black slinky dress packed up her butt and set off her slender waist. Under it was a pair of pretty long legs and seven-centimeter red high heels that accentuated her tall, sexy figure.

Her body was attractive and alluring, but her eyes were so clear. It was hard to define her. This woman blended seduction and innocence so perfectly...

To strike a deal, James used this woman to seduce him, and she called in paparazzi. A third-rate starlet dreamed of playing up to him and rising to the top. Did they take him as a fool?

In the end, they would pay for their actions.

Chapter 2 Aren't You Aiming for Money

At that moment, Eva scowled at the man who stole her first kiss for no reason but then got stunned by his appearance...

His figure was tall and well-built like a model. He boasted sculpted features, a tall nose bridge, sexy thin lips, and deep amber eyes. In showbiz, she had seen various charming men but still got impressed by his face.

If he entered the entertainment industry, those female fans would definitely scream like crazy.

In terms of appearance, he was on a par with James...

Only... the air about him was reserved, noble, unapproachable, and domineering. It constantly reminded her that she couldn't afford to offend this man!

"Seen enough?" Matt looked impatient. In fact, he was sick of such a gaze and people's inward comments about his appearance.

In his mind, they were not worthy of commenting on anything about him!

"Yeah..." His question instantly brought her back to reality, and she blurted out, "Nothing special to see, actually."

At her blunt remark, Matt slightly arched his eyebrow.

"Your name is Eva?" He took the phone from the hand of his secretary. The phone had various information about her in the record.

There were so many negative rumors about this third-rate starlet.

"Yes."

"You judged Stella Ochoa's appearance?" Since she even had the guts to belittle a superstar, that explained her blunt remark just now. To give the devil her due, Stella was beautiful but a bit inferior to this woman.

Eva wanted to explain. In fact, she was talking about the clothes that Stella wore to walk the carpet. Rather than suit her, it covered up her advantage and smeared her beauty. However, those vicious media interpreted it out of context. They used Eva Comments on Stella's Red-Carpet Show, Not Good Looking as the headline, which sank her reputation to the bottom.

"I did..." She indeed said it. Though misinterpreted, it had blemished her reputation, and she didn't think she owed any explanation to this strange man.

"Aren't you going to explain and apologize for your rude behavior?" As Matt just stood there with no intention of letting her go or apologizing, she couldn't help but raise her head and frown.

"Explain? Apologize?" Matt asked as if that was a big joke. As his face moved closer, Eva leaned against the wall and looked at him nervously.

His face was just several centimeters away, and she could even smell a faint fragrance from his body. In an instant, she blushed and covered her mouth for fear of another assault.

"In this world, you are the first one who dares to ask for my apology." Matt looked into her eyes coldly, and she shivered under his awful air, "Stop faking innocence, aren't you aiming for money? 20,000 yuan for a kiss, how about it? Given your status, you should be thrilled."

"Asshole!" Eva shuddered with anger. This man stole her first kiss for no reason and then insulted her. True, she was short of money, but it didn't mean that she accepted such kind of money!

Chapter 3 You're Nothing More than an Object

"What, not good enough for you?" Matt frowned. In his view, James sent over such a minor celerity obviously for him to play with for free. His remark was just for fun.

20,000 yuan was indeed not much, but she was nothing more than a third-rate starlet. To put it bluntly, she was not much better than prostitutes.

"You're unreasonable." Eva calmed down and abruptly pushed him away, "Save your rotten money; I take it like a mad dog bite! Goodbye! We won't meet again!"

She turned to leave.

"Stop." No sooner had she taken two steps than her fair, slender wrist was grabbed. Irritated, Matt pushed her to the wall, "Dog bite? Woman! Think you that you can get my attention like this?"

"What is wrong with you?" Her back hit the wall hard, resulting in sharp pain and her rage, "To get your attention? That's delusional; see a doctor! Out of my way! Or, I'll call the police!"

"Really, call them now." He looked at her with a spurious smile, "You can escalate it, and I'll say that you blackmailed me. Let's see if anyone would believe a minor celebrity troubled by negative rumors."

"Argh..." Eva had never seen someone so shameless before, but he succeeded in cutting her to the quick. As a third-rate starlet and a sitting duck for rumors, she couldn't afford to have more negative news about her. Otherwise, the company would give up on her for sure. If that happened, how was she supposed to pay up the debt...

"In this world, people are vying with each other to be my woman, and you're nothing more than an 'object' presented by James. If I take a liking to you, you should be grateful." The corner of his mouth curved up charmingly as he stared at her grieved face.

This man was so bitchy!

Wait, what did he say? She was an 'object' sent by James?

It was true that she came here to see James today. Before that, she spotted paparazzi and accidentally barged into his booth to avoid them. That made her an 'object' sent by James?

Did she look anything like an 'object' that he could give away randomly?

Her face turned ashy, and her fists clenched so forcefully so that her fingernails sank deep into her palms. In her rage, she didn't feel the pain.

From her dejected face, Matt inferred that the night note was struck and thus sneered, "What, still need my apology?"

"I'm not James's object! I don't belong to him. What makes him think he can present me to a terrible and unethical man like you?" She came back to her senses, looked at the man, and spat, "To a promiscuous animal, I only wish him to get venereal diseases!"

Shen then turned to leave.

"How dare you..." The secretary tried to stop her, but Matt checked him.

"Since James sends over such a person, call and tell him that the deal is off." He took a glance at her curve and instructed coldly.
