"You like this? Hmm?" I didn't know her voice could be this sexy.
"Ahh.." I couldn't help but squirm from the sensation enveloping my body. I didn't know, because I've never experienced this in my whole life, not until now!
"I see, you like finger fucking, huh?" He quickened the pace of inserting and withdrawing his three fingers from my opening, "I am the only person who will do this to you, do you understand?"
"Ahhhh, yes," I couldn't control what came out of my mouth, everything sounded like moans, I tightly gripped the bed sheet, and one was in his hand, I opened my eyes, and saw him feasting his eyes on my nudity now.
I suddenly felt embarrassed and tried to cover my chest, and close my thighs, but he immediately stopped me, "Don't, it's beautiful," he whispered and trailed his hand all over my body, "How did I fucking miss this kind of body?"
I felt something hard against my side, my eyes widened when I saw what it was, "What, uh, your, uh, it's hard.."
I heard his soft laugh, "Yeah, obviously, I'm having a boner now,"
"W-what are we going to do about it? Doesn't it hurt? It looks hard and painful," when our eyes met, I could clearly see a mix of longing and inhibition.
"You want to suck it?"
"Sorry, I mean, who are you?" It felt like I was stabbed with her response. My greatest fear had come true; she had forgotten me. "Do I know you?"
"I'm- I'm-uh-" I stuttered, but my words were cut off as the door opened and Claire entered with fruits and lunch for us.
"OMG! You're awake!" Claire exclaimed, quickly running to hug Kalix. She must have noticed me watching, as she immediately backed away. "Sorry, got carried away."
I was about to mention her amnesia, but Kalix spoke first. "Claire, why are you saying sorry? Do you know this lady? I think she's lost," Claire froze, and the big grin vanished from her face.
"Come on, stop playing, Kalix, can't you remember her? She's Samantha!"
"You know her? Oh! I'm sorry!" She turned to me, "You're Claire's friend? I'm sorry, I didn't know." She seemed genuinely not joking.
"Kalix, stop playing! Stop pulling pranks, you dimwit!"
"Claire, can I step out for a moment?" I excused myself and quickly left the room. I heard her calling me several times, but I ignored her.
Why was it like that? Why did she forget me, but not the people around her? Why me? Did she never really love me that she can't remember me?

"I'll have you imprisoned! You mess the wrong person! How dare you spread false information!" I woke up to the loud voice outside the house. I jolted awake before getting up.
My forehead creased as I saw many people gathered in front of our house, including the district captain and the mayor, with the captain shouting and pointing fingers at my mom. Damn!
"Then do it, send me behind the bars! But what I said was true! You're the mistress of the mayor! Esther saw you two!" My mom shouted back, pointing at the captain. The mayor just massaged his temples.
Even though I should be leaving, I stopped. Damn it! My mom's gossiping tendencies escalated again! Damn it! I tied my hair back before fully getting up.
I could still see my brother and father in the living room, seemingly indifferent to what was happening, just watching, one engrossed in his phone.
"Mum! What's going on?" My mom stopped momentarily and looked at me, but she continued arguing, so I approached the captain and the mayor. "Mayor, captain, I'm sorry for my mom's behavior. Can't we discuss this?"
I always did this. My mom was known throughout the district for her gossiping, but I never expected her to rile up even the captain and mayor, I'm freaking tired of my mom's antics.
"I'll have your mom imprisoned, Samantha, let's just call it even! She's spread too much gossip! I've called her to my office several times! I've talked to her nicely several times," I just looked at my mom as if she was the one aggrieved here. "I've been ignoring her because you're my goddaughter, and because of your father, but this is too much!"
I couldn't help but scratch my head. "What did mom spread?"
"She claimed that the mayor and I have a relationship! Samantha, if your mom were sane, she'd know that the election is near, and we're both married! What does she think she's doing?"
I winced at what I heard. I noticed more and more people gathering around us. This wasn't funny anymore, all because of my mom.
"I'll have you imprisoned, Pilar! You'll be in jail tomorrow!" I thought my mom would be scared, but she just rolled her eyes. "You have some nerve! That's your last eye-roll against me!"
After the captain left, the others accompanying her, including the gossipy ones, gradually dispersed. Some of the fake sweepers who pretend to sweep dry leaves in front of their houses, six to eight houses away from ours, reached here.
"Pilar, I hope you didn't do that, you know the election is near, it could damage our image, mine and the captain's, you know we're both running, right?" I thought my mom would apologize, but she just sighed and went inside the house.
I scratched my head before facing the mayor, "I'm sorry about my mom. Can you talk to the captain to drop her complaint?"
"I'll talk to the captain, but I can't promise," I just nodded. My mom always, always never learned, always managing to slip away from these things. "I'll go ahead, Samantha." I just nodded before finally going inside the house.
"Mom, why did you do that to the captain and mayor? You know the election is near, you could have finished it before gossiping about them. What if the captain proceeds with her complaint against you?"
She sat down and stared at me sharply, "Then find a solution, make a way for me, promise me, you can find a way. You owe me your life, Samantha, maybe you forget, but you owe me your life." I was left speechless by what she said.
"Hey, Samantha, why is there nothing in our fridge? Where are my drinks? My friends are coming over later, what are we going to drink? Are you going to embarrass me?" My father shouted from the kitchen while looking for drinks in our small fridge.
"Dad, it's still a day before my payday, I only have my allowance right now, can't you just hold off drinking for now?" I have a job in town as a cashier, but my salary is minimum, for my fourteen-hour shift, there's barely anything left for me, except for my allowance to get by until the next payday.
"Well! How dare you tell me that? I'm your father, who are you to tell me that? Just because you're the one supporting us?" I shouldn't have told him, "Give me two hundred bx, I'll buy drinks at the corner, and one hundred for snacks."
"Dad, I only have five hundred left, that's for me, remember? And I already gave you fourteen thousand last week." I was surprised when he suddenly stood in front of me, and I couldn't avoid his huge hand that landed on my left cheek, "Don't answer me like that, Samantha! I've been providing for you since you were a child! Can't you even give me alcohol?!" he shouted, and I tasted a metallic liquid on the side of my lips.
In the end, I couldn't do anything but give the three hundred pesos that were supposed to be my allowance. I didn't leave my room and sulked for a while.
When it was nine in the morning, I got ready for work. This was always the case, I had to provide for their luxuries too. My father was addicted to alcohol, gambling, and cigarettes, and my mom, gossiping. I've bailed her out several times to get her out of jail, because she's been imprisoned several times.
There have been divorces, sibling murders, job losses for women, framed students, all because of her gossiping. I don't even know why many still want to gossip with her, knowing what's happening to her. And now, she targeted the mayor and captain, just because the election is near.
I quickly got dressed and combed my long hair before taking my old bag hanging on the back of the door. "Mom, I'm leaving." I said goodbye to my mom, who was talking to someone on the side, she didn't pay attention to me and continued what she was doing.
I just shook my head and headed to the subway stop, it took almost thirty minutes before I reached the shopping center where I work.
"Hey, red head seems in a bad mood today," Lexi greeted me as soon as I entered the locker room to change into my uniform, he's referring to our boss "I heard he's firing people."
I stopped but quickly moved and went out of the locker room, I heard Lexi calling me, but I just ignored her and went straight to my spot, taking a deep breath before opening my line.
I smiled broadly and looked at the customers looking for the shortest lane, "Good morning! This way, it's open." They immediately lined up, and I started serving the customers.
I saw my boss enter the customer service area, and behind him was a woman wearing a crochet-style top and black fitted jeans, carrying an expensive sling bag, which didn't really match her blonde hair. She seemed nauseous.
After serving the second customer, I noticed my boss walking towards me with the woman.
"Samantha, I need to talk to you first." I just nodded and grabbed my "Closed" sign board and briefly excused myself from the few remaining customers in line.
"What's up, boss?" Even though I wasn't feeling good about what he was going to say, I still forced a smile.
"This is Amore," he introduced the woman to me, I looked at her and smiled, and she nodded in response, and that's when I noticed her seemingly uncomfortable expression, "She's newly hired as a cashier here."
"Do I have to train her, boss? Okay, sure." I breathed a sigh of relief as it seemed he was only asking me to train her.
"No, she's replacing you; today's your last day at work. I'm not hiring additional staff. Just go to my office later for your final paycheck."
"Damn it, of all times, they had to fire me when I needed the job? I knew it, that idiot would be the one to fire me." I didn't care if I looked like a fool as I walked, drawing the attention of passersby.
They fired me yesterday, and I also received my final paycheck of twelve thousand. I worked for him for four years, but he didn't give me anything else. Damn it!
So here I am now, walking and looking for another job. It's tough when you haven't finished your studies; all you have is your thick skin and experience.
I'm pulling my slightly wrinkled black polo shirt and blue pants, shoes I bought at a flea market, and because I'm shameless, I even haggled for them.
My family doesn't know I've lost my job. They don't ask, but when it comes to money, they know me well. Sometimes I feel like I'm just an adopted child because of what they do. I don't know, my mother used to be kind, not like this, it all changed when Lea, my sister, came.
"Where are you headed, Sam?" I looked at the person who spoke beside me, Lolita, Lita for short, and she joined me in walking, drawing stares because of what she was wearing.
"Just around, looking for a job," was my brief reply. She's my classmate from gradeschool to high school, but she dropped out in our second year of high school, I don't know why.
"Oh, didn't you have a job? You got fired?" I just nodded. "Actually, my friend's boss in Liberdad is looking for help, maybe you'd like it?"
I shook my head and smiled, "No, thanks. I'll just look around here in Sta. Isabel."
"Well, okay! I'm off then! Good luck!" Why did I feel insulted by what she said? Or was it just me? Tsk. Annoying.
"Hey, Sam!" I looked at Sanchez, an old widow who, they say, went crazy and ran naked in the street at midnight, "Be careful with that woman, she's Satan's disciple! I saw her being escorted by a demon riding her smoking horse last night, it's terrifying!"
I just gave him a fake smile and nodded slightly, "Ah, thanks for the reminder, yes, I'll be careful with her."
That's nothing new; it's always like that. They go out and have fun without me. They have their own lives.
"Oh, Samantha," the city counselor greeted me with his yellow teeth.
"Sir Perez," that's what they call him here, I don't like him, I'd rather bump into anyone but this pervert.
"I heard you lost your job, my friend told me," yeah, his friend is my boss who stutters. "Do you want a job with a good salary? The work is easy."
I didn't answer, just smiled. He looked like he was about to explode in his long polo and black slacks, and I was also trying not to breathe through my nose because his breath felt like it could kill.
"So, will you come with me to my house, then I'll send you home tomorrow, and I'll also have someone pick you up, do you want? I'll give you a big salary." He even grinned. Damn, what a beast.
This guy's such a freaking pervert
"Ah, no thanks, Sir Perez, offer it to someone else. I'm leaving." I said, quickly leaving, and I heard his angry voice calling me.
I'd rather be a helper than be touched by that lunatic. I know those types, damn beasts.
I didn't go home right away, I walked around hoping to find other places where I could submit my resume. It's hard to support a family like mine.
They can work, but since they see that I can manage and that they can do what they want, the government takes care of their vices, so maybe they don't bother to work anymore.
I only took a moment to pack my things and clothes; I don't have many clothes because my mother doesn't buy for me, and I don't buy much for myself either. I think the last time I bought clothes was two years ago, but it's okay, as long as they're still wearable.
I waited for a few more hours; it's already eight in the evening, and they still haven't arrived. I won't be able to say goodbye. They wake up late, and I can't stay up late because I have to get up early, so I'll just leave a note.
---
"It's all set, I'll take it. I don't really have a choice anyway. What's wrong with being a maid? And what else should I look for? I didn't finish my studies, do I even have the right to complain? Nothing, and there shouldn't be, especially now that I'm the only one with a job and bringing in money for the household."
"So, are you okay with it now? Will you come with me to Liberdad?" Even though I wasn't entirely comfortable with Lita, I agreed. I've been looking for work for two days, but still haven't found anything. They all require college graduates.
"Yeah, I guess. I can't find anything here," I grabbed my bag, my resume was inside it, "Here's my resume, maybe I sh-"
"Oh, it's not needed. I'll just tell them I referred you, they know me anyway, and I was told they need someone." I just nodded and put my resume back in my bag.
"When will I start?"
"Tomorrow, I'm going back to Liberdad, come with me, I'll cover your fare." She said and drank the coconut juice I bought for her. It would be embarrassing if I invited her and didn't offer her anything to drink.
"I'll take care of it, sure. What time and where should we meet?"
"At seven, at the bus terminal, bring your things with you. You can go home if you want, but maybe only once a month, the work schedule is hectic." I nodded and stood up, "Okay, I'll go ahead and get my things ready, thanks again."
"Okay, bye!"
That woman is weird. I went home immediately and packed my things. My parents weren't home, I didn't know where they were. When I woke up earlier, they weren't there, even my sibling, they probably went out again without me.
That's not new, it's always like that. They leave and go out without me, they have their own lives.
I quickly packed my things and clothes. I don't have a lot of clothes because my mom doesn't buy me any, and I don't buy much for myself either. I think the last time I bought clothes was two years ago, that's fine, as long as they're still good and wearable.
I waited for a few hours, it was already eight in the evening, but they still weren't home. I couldn't say goodbye, they wake up late, and I can't stay up late because I have to wake up early tomorrow. I'll just leave a note.
"Are all your things ready? You don't have much." I didn't say anything and drank my coffee, it was already six-thirty in the morning, and we were the only ones at the terminal heading to Liberdad. "The bus gets full in an hour on its way to Liberdad. The first trips are at three and four, they fill up quickly because many people travel for work. By six, it takes a while to fill up, sometimes we wait for one to two hours, the buses lose money."
"Why? Is the journey from here that far?" I took a sip of my coffee, this was my second cup.
She nodded, "Yes, the journey from here takes seven hours, sometimes eight, including the stopovers, traffic, tolls, and other things."
Wow, that's really far. I'm getting tired just thinking about it. "Is my future employer nice?" I decided to ask.
"Hmm, yeah, she's nice as long as you follow her instructions. She gets angry quickly, and if you don't follow her, she might not pay you for the day. It's a waste of a day."
I just nodded, it's different when you're wealthy, it's easy for them to get angry and not pay you, as if they already bought your life because you work for them.
We waited for almost two and a half hours before the bus finally left. I must have had around three coffees and some water; I must have spent around three hundred. I still haven't left, and I didn't ask Lita to treat me. I don't want to owe her anything, aside from the job she gave me, I shouldn't owe her anything anymore.
"Go ahead and sleep for a while, the journey is long. I'll wake you up when we have a stopover." I just nodded; I was really sleepy. I woke up at four in the morning; I didn't want to be late for our call time.
I didn't say goodbye to my parents; I was sleeping soundly. I didn't know when they came home; I didn't even notice they were there. So, I just left a note that I'll be working in Liberdad. I expected them to call me to ask, but it was already nine, and there was no text or call from them.
Maybe they're still asleep until now. But they were already awake at eight, no matter how tired they were from what they did.
