PROLOGUE

In a world called Earth-where I reside and live.

I am currently running down the street, where countless people surround me, and I am chasing a mysterious woman.

I never expected that everything would suddenly change.

In a blink of an eye, as I touched her, everything around us stopped moving, and the surroundings seemed to revolve around the space between her and me.

I thought it was the end of the world at that moment, but my belief was replaced by astonishment when I realized that I was in a different world.

And with a woman whose ability to manipulate fire I had no knowledge of.

Where am I now?

I am just in another world where everyone has powers.

I do not possess such powers, but I am their magic breaker who came from Earth.

*Yawn~*

I yawned and quickly got up from my bed. I tidied up what needed to be tidied on the bed and opened the curtains.

The sunlight immediately greeted my eyes. I didn't linger on looking at the rising sun hitting my apartment because I quickly headed to the bathroom and took a shower.

I need to go to school. I'm in junior high school now. I am 16 years old and living here in Japan.

My name is Katatsuki Fiercest Suta. Others often call me Suta and not Fiercest because it's easier to say and call me that way.

The reason I have a foreign name is because of my Foreign father. I don't know what he looks like because he left us, my mom and me, since he no longer loved my mother and found someone else in his country.

Feircest is my Father's first name but even so, I got his name that my mom never changed or remove it at all.

Okay, I'm done cleaning myself up and I stepped out of the bathroom with a towel around my waist. I walked to the closet to put on my uniform, then did a quick brush of my hair and had breakfast.

After a while, I left the apartment and went down the stairs. My apartment is on the third floor. While going down, I encountered a girl going up the stairs.

Everything seemed to be in slow-motion as I looked at her. I didn't know how to describe the feeling, but when I saw her, there was something different.

I passed by her. When I passed her, everything returned to normal.

"What was that? There was something strange about the girl."

I said in my mind. I stopped going down to take a quick look at the girl, but when I turned around, she suddenly disappeared.

"Weird. Where did she go? She went up the stairs so easily, I didn't even hear her run when I looked back."

Because the girl suddenly disappeared, I immediately felt a bit scared.

I quickly went down the stairs without thinking about the mysterious girl I encountered.

"Suta, Yo bro, we're early!"

My friend and classmate Touya greeted me with a raised hand.

"Yo, what did you eat? You're early too."

I asked and sat on a chair near the window at the back.

"Just the usual food for a handsome guy like me."

He replied and even did a "cool" sign. I just laughed and shook my head. I didn't react further, or he might tease me more.

Just then, the teacher entered the room. So Souta said goodbye to me and quickly sat in his seat.

We're not seatmates; he's in the second row, and I'm in the fifth row.

"Good morning to all my kind students. I will now take the class record, okay~ Raise your hands and say 'Here Ma'am~' as a present."

Our teacher said in a cute manner, showing a bit of childishness in her speech for those who don't know her well.

While waiting for my name to be called, I felt like someone was watching me. I had a strong feeling that there were eyes on me, so I looked around the room.

All my classmates were just looking and listening to the teacher. Where could this strange feeling be coming from?

Since none of my classmates seemed out of the ordinary, I decided to look out of the window and hoped to see someone looking at me from outside.

I was on the second floor. As I searched for the person who was looking at me, I saw someone.

I suddenly got chills when I saw her again. The girl I crossed paths with on the stairs of the apartment where I stay.

"Shit! What is she looking at?"

Why is she staring at me? It seems like she's deep in thought while looking straight in my direction.

The girl is beautiful, fair-skinned, thin lips, round eyes, short hair up to her shoulders, and her small...

*looking at her boobs*

I mean her body and her... Well, yeah! I ADMIT HER BOOBS!

"Damn it, why did I include describing... that part of her?!"

Due to my foolishness, I accidentally slapped myself in the face.

*Slap!* (-###-) My face turned red.

"Um, Mr. Katatsuki, are you okay?"

The teacher asked. I was surprised because everyone was looking at me.

"Uh, um! I'm okay, Ma'am. There was... a mo-mosquito that landed on my face."

I made an excuse and scratched my neck. She just nodded and continued calling out names.

After that, my classmates didn't pay attention to me anymore. But Touya, when he teased me, was quietly laughing in his seat. I feel annoyed, I gave him a dirty look.

"Why is there something funny about my appearance?"

I said with my eyes. He just grinned, shook his head, and then turned to face the teacher.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. For the second time, I looked back at the girl under the tree. But when I saw that she was no longer there, I felt nervous again.

Why does she keep disappearing? Where did she go this time?

After Awhile...

*Ring!*

Finally, it's lunchtime. While I was packing up my things at my desk, Touya approached me.

"Yo, man, what was that scene earlier? Why did you slap yourself in the face? I thought there are no mosquitoes in this school."

He was laughing again. I just sighed and wiped my face.

"I just panicked earlier because of Ma'am. I didn't know that everyone would hear the loud slap on my face!"

I replied and slumped in my seat.

I heard him laugh.

"Yeah, it was so loud, I thought there was a fight going on. *Laughing* But when I saw you, you were just slapping yourself. I could see your seatmate was also puzzled, *Laughing hard*"

He couldn't stop laughing. I just sighed and messed up my hair out of embarrassment.

"Alright, that's enough. Are you still going to laugh? What you did yesterday was even more embarrassing."

I said disheartened. He finally stopped laughing and blushed slowly out of embarrassment.

"Uh! Can we just not talk about it? I don't want to remember that, dude!"

He shouted and ruffled his hair, probably trying to forget his attempt to court a guy who looks like a girl in front of many people.

I just smirked. It's a relief that the teasing has stopped. He stayed quiet on the side, and it seems like the trauma from what happened yesterday has returned.

"Wrong move."

I thought to myself.

"Yo, dude, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. It's your fault for teasing me, that's why?!"

I said while scratching my head. I didn't notice how quickly his hand went towards my head.

*Smack!*

"Ouch! Dude, I said I'm sorry."

I said, pouting and rubbing the part where he hit me.

"Okay, okay, don't do it again. I have trauma from that, dude."

He replied. I just laughed and stood up, then put my arm around him.

"You're so annoying! Okay, I won't do it again, let's just go eat."

I said as we left the classroom.

"Phew~ finally, we're home. Can you believe we've been sitting in our seats since earlier?!"

Touya said. Our class was over, it was time to go home.

I smirked at what he said.

"What?! You want to stand in class all afternoon?"

I teasingly asked. He chuckled and gently pushed my shoulder.

"Not really, I just want to lie down in bed and sleep. I've been so sleepy in class since earlier. Teacher's teaching was boring, that's why I wanted to sleep."

He replied, yawning and stretching.

He's been doing that since our teacher started discussing earlier, and he's still the same now.

"It's obvious. You're lazy to listen, if you took it seriously, you wouldn't be sleepy in class."

I lectured. I was surprised when he suddenly clapped loudly once and put his arm around me.

"Yeah! Dude, you know I'm lucky to have you as a friend, you're a good influence on me. Okay, I'll really take it seriously tomorrow."

He said with a smile, looking into the distance while his hand was clenched.

"You look like a fool. Alright, I'm going home. See you tomorrow, dude. Bye."

I said as I walked away to go home. He nodded and turned around to go home as well.

We have different routes, so we don't go home together. He's on the opposite route from me, and it's the same for both of us.

While walking alone, I suddenly stopped when I saw the beautiful girl, looking at me and standing in front of me.

"She's here again? What does she really want from me, why is she observing me?"

Due to my curiosity about what she needs, I tried to approach her. She was just too far away from me.

As I approached her, she suddenly turned around and ran away.

"Wait, Miss!"

I called out and followed her. I also started running to catch up with her.

What was going through this girl's mind that made her run away immediately?

We were in the big city where our school is located. There were a lot of people, making it difficult for me to find her.

With so many people around, I kept mistaking others for her. Some were getting annoyed and wondering why I was pulling them and facing them, but I apologized. There were just so many girls with short hair like her that I kept mistaking.

"She's so hard to find in this place! Where could she be?"

I whispered to myself as I scanned the area. Finally, I saw her, so I quickly approached her, weaving through the crowded street. I just apologized to the people I bumped into as I needed to hurry and not lose the girl I was following.

"Gotcha!"

I shouted as I grabbed her arm. She was startled and looked at me.

Our eyes met, sending shivers down my spine.

We stood like that for a few minutes. I didn't know why, but it felt like everything around us suddenly stopped and the world spun.

Was this what they called love? But it was weird because my heart wasn't racing, and it felt like what was happening around us was real. This wasn't imagination!

I looked around. Everything was spinning, and people and buildings were disappearing one by one, as if fading away.

"What the heck is happening?!"

The girl in front of me remained calm, just staring at me. Meanwhile, I felt like it was the end of the world. We weren't informed that the world was collapsing!

Everything in front of us turned into a galaxy. Even in the galaxy, I could still breathe. But where did the people go? Why was it just the two of us here?!

I wanted to ask the girl, but no words came out of my mouth. What the heck! The situation was getting nerve-wracking, and I wanted to scream out of fear. So, I just closed my eyes tightly.

Am I going to die now? Please, I don't want to die. I haven't experienced anything yet!

I'm still a virgin!

*Smack!*

"Ouch!"

I groaned in pain from the slap on my cheek.

Reason why I opened my eyes and touched my sore cheek.

I looked at the woman disapprovingly. She continued to stare at me without turning away.

She seemed like a robot now, no reaction. It seems like I was left alone.

"Hey miss, where are we and what's happening?!"

I finally spoke. We were no longer in the galaxy but in a place with many Sakura trees, or in English, Cherry Blossoms.

The place was beautiful because the petals were falling. It felt like we were being showered, and the scent was refreshing.

The woman faced me and approached.

"I'm sorry."

She said. She was asking for forgiveness. Her demeanor was gentle, and she seemed genuinely sincere in asking for forgiveness.

I didn't know what to do.

"Miss, what's happening? Explain everything. I know you know what happened earlier."

I said. Confusion was evident on my face about what was happening.

She bowed.

"I am Kirisaki Kanna. This place is not Earth, you are in our world, Suta, and I brought you here because I want your help"

She replied, now looking at me. I avoided her gaze.

"What can I do to help? And hey! How do you know my name?! Are you stalking me?!"

I asked in shock, pointing my finger at her. I was just a student! And I had no idea what was going on?!

Surprisingly, I was in their world now, and she knew my name.

"I'm not stalking you?! Trust me. I just need you, that's why I was following you earlier."

She replied, smiling shyly.

Okay, she said she's not stalking me.

"Wait, are the people okay there? Is it not the end of the world in our world yet?"

I asked. She nodded and bowed shyly.

Shy indeed.

"Come on, I have a lot to tell you about our world."

She said and suddenly took my hand and pulled me.

Now we were walking hand in hand. Shit! It felt like heaven! I was holding hands with a cute, beautiful lady.

"Where are you taking me?"

I asked in the midst of the suddenness.

"To the kingdom. It's a bit far, so as we walk, I will tell you everything about our world."

She replied. I nodded, signaling that I will listen.

"In our world, many things are different. I know you may not believe it, but everything you see later will be real."

She said with a slight smile at me before looking ahead.

"What is different? Do you have advanced technology, and am I in the future?"

I asked in disbelief. She frowned and gave me a look.

"No. It's even more different than all the differences in your world. Here, we use abilities. Some of us have the power to use magic based on our capabilities."

She replied. I paused in disbelief at her story and couldn't believe it.

"Is that true! Are you trying to fool me?"

I shouted at her. She just raised an eyebrow at me, so I immediately fell silent.

Should I believe this woman? Is it true that magic exists in this world? But she hasn't shown her magic yet.

"Kanna, what's your ability?"

I asked. She smiled mischievously, then ran away from me and turned around.

"Just watch and see what I can do."

She replied, then her hand lit up, and suddenly, fire appeared in her hand.

"K-Kanna, don't point that at me!"

I shouted as she aimed it towards me.

I was surprised when she shouted to release the fire in her hands and the blazing fire broke free and headed towards me.

I could see it in my eyes. Slow motion.

I didn't know how, but I blocked her fire with my bare hands.

When it hit me, the slow motion suddenly stopped, it became reality.

"Aahhh! Kanna!"

I screamed as her fire was in my hand. The impact was strong, and the strong wind hit me as the fire blazed. I felt like it was the end for me.

But it wasn't.

Although I was burned and scorched, I didn't feel anything else. I looked closely in front of me.

Smoke was rising, and the fire that I blocked with my hand was gone.

Kanna? Did the fire suddenly disappear?

I looked at my hand, there were some burns but not too severe.

"What happened?"

I asked while looking at my hands.

"What happened is that you are immune to our magic. You are a magic breaker in our world, only a person like you has that ability."

She explained.

"What do you mean? Just because I stepped into your world, do I have magic now?"

I asked with a frown.

She slapped me on the face and sighed.

"Idiot! No. You don't actually have any ability. The truth is, a person like you is not affected by our magic. That's why I brought you here."

She replied.

"Why did you bring me here then?"

I scratched my head as I asked her.

"I want you to help me eliminate the assassins who have been disturbing the peaceful world for a long time."

She replied. Huh? She wants my help? Using this magic breaker ability of mine? But I'm not good at fighting.

"So? What do I care about that?"

I asked.

I'm from Earth, in our world, there is no magic. Especially in Japan!

I stepped back as she suddenly approached and quickly pulled the collar of my polo uniform.

"You're getting annoying! I said I want your help to eliminate the assassins who have been disturbing our peaceful world! And to stop their evil intentions in this world, Suta!"

She shouted in anger, her hand burning on my collar. I panicked as her hand was burning my collar, so I patted it to make the fire go away.

"Relax, Kanna! Are you going to kill me, you might burn my polo uniform!"

I retorted in annoyance, then pushed her away slightly.

"Hmpf!."

She scowled and turned away to start walking.

I couldn't do anything either, so I just sighed and followed her.
