Mafia Spy Bride

KIARA'S POV

And again it's that weird dream, it always starts with fire burning everywhere and someone screaming my name and when I try to look back everything gets so blurry and then I wake up.

"Knock,knock! Kiara you have to wake up, you are going to be late for the meeting," my elder sister Sofie called out from outside my room door.

"I'm awake, Sofie, just give me 30 min to get ready."

"Okay just be quick cause father is already ready," sofie replied.

Today's the day for the meeting between the two major mafia groups in London. I, Kiara Blade. I'm about to attend a meeting with my father Leo Blade, the leader of the Blade Mafia family, in order to sign a marriage treaty with the new Mafia lord of the Darkwood society.

"Father, do you honestly believe that the Darkwood would really accept this treaty even after the 15 years war we have had with them?" I asked silently as we were on our way to the meeting site.

"Of course Kiara, they have no other choice since we have something they need which is the northern border for their business," he replied.

"But what if?" I uttered with a sigh of doubt.

"Remember, his just a young new lord, so it should be easy to get this treaty done just remain calm and show no sign of fear,you know I only picked you for this because u are the most trained and strongest out of my daughters and I trust you won't fail me," he said with a stern face.

"Of course father I won't." I nodded.

I already know the main purpose for this marriage treaty is for me to be able to spy and discover the Darkwood society secrets and weakness and I am determined to do so.

Few minutes passed and we arrived at the site waiting for the Darkwood Society to arrive. 2 hours passed and they were nowhere to be seen, at this point my father was already at his limit and was furious at their tardiness.

"How dare this young man keep me waiting!" He shouted furiously.

"Father, relax, you know this is unlike the Darkwood Society,they should be arriving soon," I said trying to calm him down.

Few minutes later they arrived, 5 black cars pulled up opposite ours and there he was the new Mafia lord of Darkwood coming down from the last one, he had dark slic hair and piercing dark emerald eyes and a very tall and muscular build.

Standing from afar I could tell he was definitely more than 6ft, but that was not the shocking part, it was his chiselled chin and his piercing emerald eyes that seemed as if they could see deep into my soul. I had heard rumours of this man Xander Darkwood before of how he was handsome and most ladies in both mafia groups wanted to get in bed with him but I never paid it any attention.

But wow, even I who had never given any man attention was stunned at his beauty .He noticed I was looking at him and gave a quirk smirk.I quickly removed my face so as to make sure my father notices nothing.

"Good evening Leo Blade, sorry for my late arrival, I had an urgent matter to settle." He stretched forth his hand to shake my father.

"And a good evening to you Xander, I accept your apology just this once," Father answered with a stern face as he accepted the hand shake.

We all then proceeded to enter the building to start the meeting of which we were all there for.

As we were all seated now, an elder from the Darkwood Society stood up and started the meeting.

"As we all know we are here to form a peace treaty between the Blade mafia family and the Darkwood Society, so as to open up the northern border in exchange for the Darkwood Society alliance," he announced.

"And what do we get in return?" a Blade mafia member asked.

"Of course we promise to refrain from our attacks on the blade mafia

family," the Darkwood elder replied with a dark smile.

The room was silent for a minute, then my father stood up to speak.

"I have already accepted this marriage treaty and have brought my 3rd daughter here as she is to be the bride," he said as he turned to look at me and stretched his hand so that I could get up.

As I stood up I noticed how Xander, the man I was to get married to was deeply staring at me as if he wanted to devour me and then he stood up too and came towards me and my father.

"And I would be the one to get married to her of course," he uttered as he smirked.

Honestly, I hated the way he smirks, it made me feel weak. I glared at him and he drew closer to me and bent to the side of my ear.

"Is that anyway to look at your husband to be huh, my dear future wife," he whispered.

And again I was stunned how his voice can make me this weak, I could not believe that a man I have never met before can make me feel this way.

I answered sternly, "You are not my husband yet so I can look at you anyway I please."

He smirked again and then faced my father.

"I accept this marriage treaty," he said and then he shook my father.

After that we all went back to our seats and other topics were brought up since the main one had been settled.

It took about 2 hours for everything to be called to an end and then we were to leave to our various places, as my father and I were about to enter our car Xander appeared again to greet my father and again he stared at me.

And again I felt that feeling of weakness I hate as he stared at me , it seemed like he was looking into my entire being and I could do nothing about it.

He said his greeting to my father and then he made his way back to his car and left.

Few minutes later, we also left and on our way back home my father spoke to me.

"Kiara always remember that the man you saw today is your enemy and you must never show him your weakness or fall for his tricks," he said.

"Of course father I won't," I replied.

And then we made our way back to the blade mafia family residence.

Xander POV

I stared outside the car window watching the London night city, my mind wasn't on the city noise, but on her Kiara.

It has been years, but finally I saw her again, my childhood friend. She still had that spark in her gorgeous golden eyes and she grew even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.

"Xander, Xander!,can you hear me?" lily page called out.

"Yeah I can hear you, so what's the update on the traitor that betrayed us?"

"He has been captured and is being brought in for questioning." Lily stretched her hands to pass the paper files.

"So Xander, is she really the one you have been looking for?"

" Yes, she is, honestly I wasn't sure after receiving the information before but after seeing her today I'm definitely sure she is the one." I let out a soft laugh.

"Hmm, how sure are you that they are not trying to trick you?" Lilly uttered.

"Stop asking too many questions and focus on the work you have at hand Lilly." I said opening the door of my car.

Already at the Darkwood Society headquarters, Lily is still explaining the situation about the traitor that has been captured.

"So what I'm hearing is that the guy was the one that leaked out the last business trade and the reason we lost 1 billion pounds," I yelled.

"Yes sir," Lily answered swiftly.

"Alright bring the traitor to my office for interrogation."

"But sir we already did that," Lily uttered as we entered my office.

"And has he confessed the main culprit's name?"

"No he has not," she replied with her face laced with disappointment.

"Just bring him here." I declared with a stern voice.

As I sat on my chair, the traitor known as Jack was brought in, soaked in his own blood, proof that he has been sternly pondered and interrogated.

"Who put you up to this?" I asked, grabbing him up.

"It was an elder from the blade mafia family." Jack confessed with his voice shaking.

"I'm not surprised that they would pull this kind of trick, after all that is what they are known for."

"But you, a Darkwood member, dared to betray us, you do know what happens to people who betray in this mafia family right?" I said, throwing him back down as wrath seethed beneath my voice.

"Please, Please! Have mercy on me." He cried out as they dragged him out of my office to be executed.

Door's closing off

"Are you sure you still want to move forward with the marriage treaty even after discovering what the blade's did again?" Lily asked while moving towards my table to hand me the remaining files.

"Of course I do, I'm already used to the blade mafia family tricks and I was expecting something like this already."

"Hmm, okay if you say so," Lily replied with a displeased look.

I honestly can't be bothered with her look right now , I need to find a way to get back the money I lost quickly and also pick the date for the wedding and where it will take place.

"Xander, is it true, is she really the one?" Daniel shouted as he burst through my doors.

" Yes Daniel she is , but seriously you barging into my office anytime you desire just because you are my younger brother is getting pretty annoying," I replied with a stern face.

"Sorry." He replied silently sitting on a chair.

"Lily, excuse us now." Signalling her to go finish up the punishment for the traitor.

"Okay sir." She uttered as she left the room.

"Now then Daniel should you not be training for your final mafia test at this moment." I stated as I continued scrolling through the files on my desk.

"I'm actually done with my training for today. That's why I rushed over here , so tell me how is she ?" He asked eagerly.

"She looks beautiful as ever and actually has a very petite body" I uttered with a smirk on my face.

"Ohh really?" He asked as brought his chair closer looking at me with an eager face.

"Yeah and she had a very deadly but beautiful gaze and her aura was just mesmerising."

"Tell me more." Daniel voiced as he moved his chair closer.

"That is all you need to know Daniel."I said as I pointed towards the door for him to leave.

He quickly understood and got up to leave.

"Right, Daniel before you go."

"Yeah what?" He asked

"I need you to work with Lilly to find the perfect venue for the wedding, okay."

"Okay but you do know I don't really get along with Lily, right?" He muttered.

"Yeah I know and I don't care, just get it done."

"But she is honestly so rude," he uttered.

"But she gets the job done, so just do what I say okay."

"I will." he sighed leaving my office.

"Finally I can focus," I exhaled.

As I try to focus on my remaining work for the day , Kiara just keeps pumping into my thoughts and no matter how hard I try I could not get her out, but how could I when I remember her stunned face when she first saw me, she looked so divine with her long red hair.

The way she walks, sits, smiles and even frowns is just perfect in every way.

Even when she stared at me with such a deadly gaze , I could only be mesmerised at how beautiful those golden eyes of hers were.

At how slender her figure is and how even with such a small body she has such the eyes of someone that can murder her enemy without remorse.

I honestly can't wait for her body and soul to be finally mine.

"I just can't stop thinking about her." I sighed as I faced the unfinished files on my desk.

"Knock knock, sir, your dinner is ready," a maid called out.

"Okay, I will be there soon," I replied.

"I guess I will have to finish this tomorrow then," I murmured to myself as I closed the files and left for the dinning.

KIARA POV

"Kiara,Kiara!!"

"What?!" I shouted as I woke up from the strange dream again.

"Ohh my God, not this same weird dream again," I voiced out as I got up from my bed.

These dreams just keep reoccurring lately and it's really just stressing me out. I have lots of things to prepare for and I seriously just want this annoying dream to stop.

For some reason, it's been coming up more than usual ever since I was told about my wedding with the Darkwood leader.

"Knock, knock, good morning ma'am I'm here to serve your breakfast," a maid outside stated.

"Take it back for now, I want to train first before eating, okay? " I sat on my chair as I replied to her.

"Sure ma'am, but is everything alright?" She asked in a worried tone.

"I'm fine, I just need to clear my head before eating all that."

"Okay ma'am."

I get why the maid sounded worried. Normally I would just eat breakfast now and then train midday but I really just needed to clear my head of these weird dreams with training this morning.

Also I didn't get why I still kept thinking about that man with piercing eyes. I seriously hated the way he made me feel weak just with a smirk and the way he whispered into my ears..

"Ahh!,Kiara, get your mind straight." Tapping my cheeks.

I quickly had my bath and left to train. As I walked through the halls headed towards the training grounds, I began to hear sounds of clashing blades and even gunshots,which was surprising because no one normally trains this early here.

As I opened the door, I realised it was my father and one of his underlings.

"Father good morning." I greeted as I walked towards him.

"Good morning Kiara, what brought you here so early?" He asked with a suspicious look, "I know you mostly train midday.

"I just wanted to train and clear my head sir."

"Hmm, just make sure you are focused and not distracted during this period, you know I don't take mistakes lightly," he said with a stern face.

" Yes I know, Father."

"Also since you are here now, you should know the wedding has been set to this Sunday, already told your sisters so they will help you get prepared." he voiced with a soft tone.

"Okay Father." With my face facing down I muttered.

"Remember Kiara, this is an important mission, even your immediate elder sister does not know about this, only Diane, your eldest sister, is informed. We need more secret information on the Darkwood Society so we can finally no longer be oppressed by them," he spoke as he drew closer to me and raised my head.

"Do not fail me Kiara," he pronounced as he and his subordinates left the training grounds.

"I won't father."

I know Father is trusting me on this mission, I must not fail him.

I then began my training and it really helped clear my head. After an hour of training I went to take a short bath and then headed to the dining room.

"Hey Kiara, I have been waiting more than an hour for you, quick come sit we have lots to talk about." Sofie uttered as she dragged me from the door to sit at her side of the table.

"Ohh, is it about the wedding?" I asked.

"Well yes but first tell me about the Xander guy. I heard from my friends that he is a man with beautiful emerald eyes, a very handsome face and a tall muscular body. Also I heard that multiple women try to get to him but none has ever succeeded,so is all that true Kiara?"

"Well, yes he is handsome but your friends are exaggerating a bit too much Sophie."

"Okay then tell me about him," she asked with her eyes full of curiosity.

"Hmm as I said before he is handsome and yes he does have a tall muscular body, but his eyes are definitely more deadly than beautiful my dear. Those eyes seem as if they are piercing through ur soul and reaping them out."

"Wow really?, well he still sounds hot to me Kiara."

"You don't get it" I sighed with a chuckle as I responded.

Sophie exclaimed, "Nope, I'm just excited about the wedding."

"Yeah ,so about the wedding, you already know my size for both dress and shoes so just pick anything okay, I don't really care, as long as it's white I'm good."

" You know I'm not gonna listen to you right? It's your wedding, so of course I'm definitely gonna pick the most breathtaking dress for you Kiara." She said with a huge smile on her face.

"And also big sister Diane said she won't be around for the wedding since she is still handling some business but she will pick and send you the jewellery for your wedding."

"Ohh right she is still not done with the trade business huh?" I uttered.

"Yes, but she said she should be done by next week though." Sophie replied as drew her food closer to her to eat.

We had breakfast and then both went separate ways. Sophie decided to go see Dad about some stuff for the wedding and I decided to go back to my room to rest.

In my room, I kept on thinking about my conversation with Sophie. I wonder why a man like him who multiple beauty have offered themselves to but he rejected would easily accept me to be his bride. I just hope he has not discovered that all this is a plan.

Because his eyes seemed like though he could see through me, but honestly he is a very handsome man. I'm still stunned as to how many can be so good looking, tall and so muscular, his whole body is just perfection in itself, can't believe such a man is to be my husband soon.

"Kiara you are thinking about him too much again"I muttered to myself.

Okay it has been a long morning let me just sleep it off.
