Made For Each Other (childhood sweethearts)

Chapter 1: Am getting engage

In New York,early in the morning in the Andrew's mansion, there were strange voices downstairs,in the sheets was Isabella Andrew who was disturbed by the voices and laughter's downstairs, with no other choice, she got up after she washed up she put on a blue jean and a black shirt with her hair tied in a bun ,when she came downstairs a unfamiliar and at the same time a familiar face that she seems hard to recall at that time .

Mrs Andrew glanced at her daughter " oh Bella is here" she said with a smile . Bella came here, do you remember your Aunt Maya and Uncle Charles ?"

"Oh yeah " ,she said with a smile ,aunty Maya ,uncle Charles it's been a while .

Mrs Harrison smiled at her "Bella come here and give me a hug ,you are all grown up ,you look much prettier than the last time I saw you .I bought you a gift come take a look "she said .

Bella walked up to her , gave her a hug and sat next to her. She took the gift box from Mrs Harrison. When she opened it she was stunned. She saw a diamond necklace. It was so dazzling and attractive she put it on happily and smiled sweetly at Mrs Harrison "thanks aunty Maya, I love it. "

Mr Harrison cleared his throat, and glanced at Bella " Dear come here she walked up to him , " I also bought you a gift " he handed her a gift box too when she opened it she saw a Jade bracelet which also looks very expensive at a glance,she glanced at him with a sweet smile " thank you so much Aunty and Uncle.

" Anything for you my dear "Mrs Harrison said.

Bella thought for a while and asked " why are you guys here so early in the morning " she asked.

Mrs Harrison glared at Mrs Andrew with an award smile " Evelyn Haven't you told bella yet ? "

"Tell me what" mom what's going on " what is aunty talking about "

" You will find out sooner or later but I think you should know now, you are getting engaged " her mom said.

Bella was dumbfounded ,she felt like she was striked by lightning,she was speechless when she finally found her voice she asked " what? Engaged ? to whom ?

Mrs Andrew chuckled " to Aunty Maya's son , Jason Harrison."

Bella was stunned again.

Mrs Andrew continued " when you and Jason were little ,you two were inseparable,you followed him to wherever he went to , anytime we come to Aunty Maya's place for visit ,so both your father and I and Jason's parent decided that when you grew up you both will get married and once you are 18 you will get engage to him , that's the main reason we came back " she said.

Mrs Harrison nodded " your mom is right ,so last night when we heard that you had arrived we came here as early as we could just to come see my future daughter-in-law " she said happily.

Before she could say another thing Chloe walked in ,she just came back from her morning exercise " hi Uncle and Aunty she said with a smile

" Oh Chloe is here ,come dear I also bought you a gift " she said.

Chloe walked up to her ,Mrs Harrison handed her a shopping bag when she opened it she was delighted it was a designer bag before Chloe could speak

Mrs Harrison proceeded to say " I hope you like it ,I got you this style because you are the fashionista of the family " she said.

Chloe was stunned again " like ? I love it ,aunty you are so amazing you know my taste " she went up and gave her a hug saying thank you so much .

"I'm glad you like it. " Mrs Harrison said.

Bella glanced at Chloe " chlo came upstairs ASAP she sent an SMS to Chloe ,while she excused herself and went up .

Chloe's phone buzzed, she checked and saw Bella's message ,she quickly went up.

Bella was pacing around in her room, what was my parent thinking she thought to herself.

After all she hasn't seen Jason for over 10 years she doesn't know what he's like now .

While she was in dazed,she heard a knock on her door " come in "she said Chloe came in and glanced at her "what's up,why do you look so tense ? "Chloe said.

Bella raised her head and glanced at Chloe " don't you know ? "I am getting engage "she said .

" What ? " This time it was Chloe's turn to be dumbfounded , "to who ? " she asked.

" To aunty Maya's son ,Jason Harrison " she said with a bitter smile

Chloe smiled faintly " you are such a lucky girl ,Jason is every girls dream guy ,his super handsome and charming, there was one time that I had a crush on him luckily I didn't tell him, things would have been awkward between us after all he's going to be my future brother in law " she said happily .

Isabella found it both funny and annoying " lucky my ass , haven't you seen a handsome guy before huh? " Bella said .

Chloe sigh " yeah have seen a lot of handsome guys but his different ,his super handsome, charming and outstanding and he has such a good family background ,the Harrison's are also one of the richest family in New York and they are well respectable they are no worse than us ,I think you both make a perfect match" she said in one breathe .

"But there's one thing,there was a time when there were rumours saying Jason has a girlfriend but I don't know if it's true " Chloe said .

Bella felt a headache coming ,she sigh loudly feeling a little disappointed " great my fiance to be have a girlfriend" she said.

Chloe quickly added " it's just a rumour it's not confirmed yet ,stay positive" she said.

Chapter 2:I love Emma

In a bar in New York

Alexander Miles glanced at Jason with pity "bro please stop drinking,enough of this look at yourself for God sake,is not the end of the world your mother is not asking you to get married to a stranger " he said .

Jason Harrison was so drunk that he couldn't even stand on his feet.

Alexander continued to say " in my opinion Isabella is nice after all she was our childhood friend before she moved away,my impression of her is still great,there was one time she even helped me ,she's so pure at heart" he said sincerely.

Jason sneered " that was then she must have changed by now,after all it's so hard to see decent girls , moreover I don't wanna get engaged to her am so young, I don't want to be trapped in any way and you know that I love Emma.I really don't know what to do now ,am confused, I really can't say know to my mom the doctor said we must make her happy all the time before the surgery and she mustn't be stressed out " he said .

Alexander sighs as he patted Jason on his shoulder "stay strong bro,come on I will drop you home " he helped Jason up.

On their way home Alexander asked " so when is the engagement ? "

Jason looked outside the car window " my mom said it is in the next few weeks" he said gloomily.

Alexander sighs loudly he felt pity for Jason his caught up between his mom and girlfriend.He knew that Jason will do whatever his mom asks him to do ,after all who will choose his girl over his mother .

When Jason arrived home, Alexander offered to help him up but he refused him, while he was heading upstairs he staggered and almost fell luckily the maids where close by they quickly held him.

Jason felt dizzy he mumbled " do not hold me am not drunk ,leave me " they immediately let go of him they had to obey his orders after all his the young master of the family he managed to climb up on his own

The Housekeeper sigh and said to the maids "why is madam forcing young master to get engaged ,I feel pity for him after all his till so young and youthful"

"I think madam knows what's best for young master," the maid said.

Back in his room ,he laid down and covered himself with a quilt ,he felt even worse now he was getting dizzier, at that moment his mom walked into his room with some hangover pills she gave it to him

She looked at her son with a soft look " Son, I heard from the housekeeper that you are drunk , everything am doing is for your own good I hope you will understand soon"she said rubbing his hair.

" Uhmm " he mumbled.

She watched him as he quickly fell asleep.

The next morning he felt better. He glanced at his phone. He was stunned when he saw a lot of unanswered calls from Emma Jackson he immediately called back. It rang for a while before it was finally picked.

Emma's angry voice was heard over the phone "I called you 30 times last night and you didn't return any of my calls until now, what were you busy with? Oh I think I know the answer, my boyfriend is getting engaged to another woman" she sounded sarcastic over the phone.

Jason was dumbfounded and he began to stutter w..what nonsense who said that to you " .Am gonna kill Alex he has such a big mouth he thought to himself .

Emma snorted "your engagement invitation is everywhere my family was sent one too,all my friends are questioning me about it.some said I was just a tool ,some called just to mock me and even some girls who are obsessed with you harassed me today when I went for my morning exercise am now the target of gossips I couldn't even sleep last night,while you were busy enjoying yourself "she said sobbingly to him.

He frowned slightly, he was stunned that his parents had arranged everything so fast , Jason felt guilty " Emma don't listen to them, I love you so much, I never used you neither will i let anything bad happen to ....

She quickly interrupted him " just give me a straight answer, are you really getting engaged ? Yes or no" she said.

He hesitated but he answered honestly " yes it's true but....

She ended the call immediately,he tried calling back several times but it was switched off. He started feeling anxious.

He quickly freshened up when he came downstairs. His parents were already sitting in the dining room. He greeted them and took his seat.

Mrs Harrison glanced at him " son how are you feeling today?"anyways you have to go see Bella I think you should go catch up with her little it's been 10 years since you last saw her, oh yeah I set a date for you both I made reservations at that restaurant close to your school by 6pm ,Bella will be attending your school too, she's a freshman so you will be responsible for her when you start the semester " she said.

Chapter 3: long time no see Isabella!

Jason looked sullen but he couldn't refute her so he nodded,he even lost his appetite , he took an apple and went out. He called Emma's number and it was still switched off he quickly called Emma's best friend.

" Hey Ava are you together with Emma,have been calling her but her line is switched off. " Jason said.

" Uhmm yeah she's here with me but she said she doesn't want to speak to you " Ava said.

" Okay just give me the address and I will come look for her, " he said.

Ava sounded tensed over the phone " she said I shouldn't give it to you am sorry" ,before he could say anything else Emma's voice was heard " what do you want from me huh? go meet your fiancee"

Jason was glad that she was fine " Emma you .... "

She continued " Jason are you really going to get engaged, what about me did you even think about how all this will affect me " she said while sobbing.

Jason felt bad " pls stop crying Emma ,I will think of something okay, I will come up with a plan "he said.

Emma gave a bitter smile she asked Jason with a hoarse voice " please cancel the engagement I can't live without you "

Jason frowned slightly, " I'm sorry I can't ,I cannot disobey my mom's orders, I can only come up with something," he said.

Emma chuckled codly "goodbye" she ended the call.

Jason sighs loudly, he is so tired the only option left is to go speak with Bella.

In The Andrew's mansion

Isabella was lying on her bed playing games with her phone , Chloe barged in ,Bella kept playing her games without looking at Chloe "what are you doing here " she said.

Chloe found her question ridiculous "you are asking me what am doing here?" aren't you supposed to get prepared for your date ?"

Bella sigh "I don't wanna go okay ,I'm really not interested but mom keeps forcing me"

Chloe walked up and lay next to her on the bed "I think Aunty Evelyn just wants the best for you and she's so happy it's been long I saw her that happy after your dad passed away. Moreover, it's your dad's last wish to get you married to Jason. You have such a great parent that cares about your future, I think if I were you I would give it a shot ,just do it for your parents. You are one lucky girl. Am so jealous " she said.

She looked at Chloe with a big smile "thanks chlo you are the best cousin sister in the world ,am sure you will also find the right one."

Chloe gave her a big hug " okay pls go get dress ,no you have such a bad fashion sense I will pick your dress for you "

At 5:30pm Jason arrived at the Andrew's mansion to pick Bella up ,Mrs Andrew welcomed him and asked the maid to get him some tea and snacks.

Mrs Andrew said to the Housekeeper with a smile " inform Bella that Jason is here " she said.

" Yes ma'am " the housekeeper bowed.

Back upstairs Bella was putting on light makeup when the housekeeper knocked on the door." come in, " Isabella said. " Miss , Young master Jason is here " she bowed then left.

Chloe "it is not even 6pm yet and he's already here ,I think he can't wait to see you."come on let's go downstairs ".

When they arrived downstairs they saw Jason sitting in the living room having tea, he was so focused on his phone that he didn't notice them. not until Mrs Andrew called out to them.

When Jason turned around he was stunned completely Bella had completely changed she looked ten times prettier she had long black shiny hair ,blue eyes , straight nose and pink lips she looked so stunning and attractive like a fairy ,she was wearing a blue long dress which showed her perfect figure ,her hair was dropped on her shoulder she made him breathless.

When Bella noticed that he was staring at her she blushed slightly and she started feeling a little shy.

He quickly looked away "Aunty we have to go now ,I booked a reservation and I don't want us to be late" Jason said.

Mrs Andrew smiled " it's okay you guys go have fun ,you can stop by some other time,you are always welcomed to our house. She glanced at Bella and said, " don't come home late." she nodded quickly.

Jason nodded and lead Bella out,

He thoughtfully opened the car door for her she buckled her seatbelt while he started the car, on their way he glanced at her and said with a smile " long time no see Isabella" she glared at him " oh I thought you won't speak to me "

He chuckled softly "why won't I speak to you" she didn't know why but anytime he smiled at her she felt her heart thumping wildly.

She composed herself then snorted "so you were pretending because my mom was there ?"

"Yeah" he said softly to her. On his way to Andrew's mansion he decided to be extra nice to her.

Before they knew it they got to the restaurant, they headed straight to the private room his mom made reservations for. They both took a menu and ordered what they wanted ,while they were eating the atmosphere suddenly became quiet.

Bella was the first to break the silence.

She sigh " I never thought I will ever come back to New York ,After my father past away ,my mom was so shattered we couldn't leave in our old house caused it's filled with memories of my dad that's why we decided to move away ,we would have still been close if nothing happened to my family. "
