MY UNDESIRABLE LOVE

" Don't touch me!" Mara screamed as she tried to escape from the room but met the door locked.

A man in only his short walked toward her and grabbed her hand..

" I should not touch you? Did you not enter my room at the middle of the night because you want this?" He asked with an husky and amused voice as he grabbed her waist and planted a kiss on her cheeks!

" No... No. I don't want it this way... I want you to love me first.." Mara cried as she felt her knees weaken with his touch.

" I told you that can never be possible." Blake replied.

Mara Keln was just a 24 years old girl who had a very fast education and completed her education in no time.

She joined a modeling company as it had always been her dream to be a world known model but things haven't been working her way because of the dangerous man she happened to meet in her childhood.

Wills was her best friend and her most trusted person but he turned out to be a animal in human form and he molested, harassed, blackmailed and made Mara's life a living hell.

It was on the day she was supposed to accept a marriage alliance with Wills family that she met the one she truly loved... the man of her dream and she decided to give it a chase!

MARA'S POV ✍✍✍

" I will just go and come back very soon, dad!" I shouted as I ran out of the house with his car key.

" Mara!"

My dad called but I wasn't ready to reply to that because it was a call for me not to go and I had to go.

I must go because it was a work call and today wasn't really the best of days too.

So, what better way to clear my head than to work?

I was supposed to stay at home today because it was a Saturday morning but how can I? When I had a lot of work to do and a lot of things to clear my mind of? Sleep? Even if I take medicines, I would never be able to sleep...

that was just how troubled my mind was...

I saw my mother coming after me and I increased my pace as I quickly opened the car door and jumped in with a little smile on my pretty face.

" Mara, can you not go? You know what today is!" My mother muttered with frustration in her firm voice and I turned my head away.

How can I not remember what today is? Today was the day an alliance would be fixed between my family and Wills family. But what good is that? I do not love him. I do not love Wills at all!

" You know Wills family are coming today and you have to be present because your engagement date will be fixed today..." My mother added as if she was going to convince me with that when all that did was break my tender heart into million pieces.

Wills was my childhood friend, we were so close that he was the one I liked the most in the entire world and he was really my everything. My life radiated around him and he was all I needed to be happy but everything changed one day. I was heart broken and devastated after what he did to me in high school that I spent a whole month at home without stepping out of my room and that was when we stopped being friends. Seeing him infuriates me and memories about what he did to me made my heart ache..

I'm sure I would be traumatized if I stay a day with him and that was why I changed my school then and I've been avoiding him ever since.

I was just starting to forget about him and forget the painful memories when his parents called my parents and asked for marriage alliance for us. My parents agreed because they didn't know what happened back then and there was nothing I could say about it. I had no say and it felt even more difficult than death to tell my parents what he did to me back then.

Maybe I should have told them about it that day, maybe... just maybe, this alliance would not have become a problem to only me now but it was even much more difficult back then that I couldn't bring myself to tell them!.

" I'm sorry, mum but I will make sure to be back before they arrive." I said and closed the door before driving out of the house. I looked back and saw my mother worriedly looking at the back of the car and I sighed. I felt bad and miserable.

I hated to see my mother this way but what am I suppose to do? It was difficult for me too and I hated the whole situation. I was never the type to joke with my Saturday it was the only day I had to myself and I spend it sleeping and resting. If it was any other Saturday, I wouldn't have picked my boss call because I would never want to go to work but this Saturday was the worst Saturday of my life and I needed something to help escape it.

It was like a prayer answered when my boss called me and asked me to meet him at work because there was something we had to do. I didn't even bother to argue as I just rushed into the bathroom and took a quick bath before dressing up as if I was being chased after and ran out of the house. I wished I could stop this alliance but I had no say even though it was my life,. Even though I was the one getting married off.

If crying could solve problems, I'm sure the tears I shed these past few days would have solved this alliance problem but I wake up every morning into the reminder of the alliance count down and the day is finally today but I can't seem to believe it and my sadness threatened to swallow me whole.

How on earth can I marry Wills? How am I supposed to survive if I marry him? What am I supposed to do to end this?

These questions were like jewelleries decorating my frustrated mind every seconds but I had no answer to them and it hurt a lot.

" How I wish I had followed grand mother to her home back then, this would not have happened. " I muttered to myself as I wiped the tears that fell from my eyes.

" What the hell is with this damn car?!" I shouted as I hit the steering with my fragile hands due to frustration. The car suddenly stopped and it wouldn't start even after I started it several times.

" Are you angry with me too? Will you turn your back at me too? Will you not even understand me?" I questioned the car as if it would reply me.

" What am I supposed to do?" I asked myself as I checked my time and realized I only had 15 minutes to get to office or i might be latched at..

I opened my car door and stepped down from the car, I was just about to close the door when my phone rang out loud and I rushed back to pick it,thinking it was my boss but my lips curved into a sweet smile when I saw the call ID.

" Hey babe!" I said with a bright smile on my pretty face immediately I answered the call.

" Babe!" A feminine voice sounded over the phone and my smile became even wider!.

" Klara, Are you back? Are you around right now?!" I asked with my brows fully raised as I impatiently awaited her reply.

" Yes babe! I'm in the airport right now. The driver is here already and I should be home soon." Klara said cheerfully and my heart jumped in joy.

It had been two years since I last saw my best friend. She had traveled two years ago and we were only able to talk on phone just twice because of the difference in time and work issue but I felt really refreshed to have her around again.

Apart from my grandmother, she was the only one that understands me most and we deeply cherish each other.

" Really?! Wow!" I exclaimed excitedly as I danced a little inside the car. " I will visit you in the evening. Make sure to rest before then because we will be having a lot to talk about. " I said to her.

" I really can't wait to see you, babe!" Klara said to me and we ended the call.

" I should get to office, get done with the shit I will be doing with Wills and visit Klara later" I mumbled to myself as I stepped down from the car and walked to the front of my car. I opened the bonnet to check what was wrong with it and that was when reality dawned on me and I remembered I knew nothing about car~

I don't even have one yet!

" Ohh God!" I cried as I looked at my wrist watch to check how much time had passed. I was still looking at my wristwatch when I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and I immediately felt cold chill ran through my vein!.

" Who are you?" I asked with fear in my heart as I turned back cautiously to look at the face of the person and there he was! A huge burly man, dressed in black suit was standing right behind me and looking at his back, there were two more!

" Argh!" I exclaimed as I suddenly fell on my knees, ready to beg for my life as I wasn't ready to die yet. Even though life seemed to be cruel on me these days, I had enough faith that I would be okay. So, death wasn't part of my plan and it never will.

" Why are you kneeling? You..." The man wanted to say something but i interrupted him as I held onto his legs.

" Please don't! Please..." I pleaded with my eyes closed and my heart beating terribly fast.

" I ..." I was about to beg more when I suddenly heard footsteps and I knew the person was coming toward me. I raised my head slowly but to look at the man was a big problem for me as I was scared that I may be punished for that.

To make the matter worst, the cold that emanated from the man when he stood in front of me was so much that I shivered and had to clench my teeth to at least keep my body composed. It was so cold and dangerous that my heart seemed like it was going to freeze!

" Leave her, let's go!" I heard the cold voice of the man and I raised a brow.

" We did not plan to scare her, we were just trying to tell her to leave the road when we called her many times and she failed to hear us but she got scared looking at the scary faces of your men!" A cheerful voice explained and laughed but I could only hear his laughter and it made me realize that amidst those scary and cold nature, there was one cheerful one among them which gave me to courage to fully raise my head.

Looking up, I realised that the cold man was already going back to his car and I sighed in relief as I tried to stand up. " That was scary!" I mumbled to myself as I wiped my knee and looked at the man who continued smiling in front of me. Others already left but he kept looking at me and smiling

" Won't you leave too? Or do you enjoy mocking me that much?" I asked with disgust in my voice but I could no longer keep my stern face when I saw his handsome look.

" Will you keep staying there?" The cold man asked coldly and the man and I both turned to him at the same time...

" Whoa!" I did not realize I had shouted until my mouth curved into an O sound and I marveled at the beauty of the cold man.

He was so handsome that I felt like I was being swept away on my feet and I couldn't help but hold the laughing man beside me to support myself.

" Why is he so beautiful?" I muttered out loud and the man beside me chuckled.

" Are you wondering why he is so handsome? Don't fall too hard for him because he is the reincarnation of devil himself. " the laughing man said and winked at me before running toward the car and they all drove off.

" Devil reincarnation?" I muttered inwardly and creased my brow as I placed my two hands on my chest...

" Why is my heart beating so fast? Is this..." I widened my eyes in horror!

WRITER'S POV.

" Don't you think something is strange about that girl?" Mark asked Blake with a smile on his cute face and Blake turned to him...

" I don't think so. She is just too bold and annoying. " he replied and looked away while Mark chuckled.

" She is actually your type" Mark mumbled but quickly turned to hide his face due to the cold glare Blake gave him and the fear that his head might be smacked!

Blake got home after few minutes of driving and the first thing he did was relax into his room.

" That girl..." he mumbled as he reminisced about the stunned face of the girl he had met earlier and he sighed.

MARA'S POV :

I watched as the car drove off into the distance with my mouth open agape. I still could not register what was going on in my head and my heart kept fluttering crazily.

I closed my eyes as I tried to calm my heart but it kept beating faster and I had to open my eyes again. " What is wrong with me?" I questioned myself with confusion in my voice and then...

" Is it...?" I quickly stopped before I could finish my statement because what came to my mind was weird and strange!.

" Aiya! No No!" I quickly assured myself and entered my car as i tried to start it again and luckily, the silly car started and I drove away from the lonely forest way. The man was long gone but there was one thing my heart registered about him and that was his car number!

" Yes! I can see him another day if I trace his car number!" I cheered to myself and smiled.

On getting to the office, I met my boss already waiting for me in front of the office and I quickly rushed to him.

" Mr Kay!" I greeted with a slight bow and breathed in for proper composure.

Mr Kay sized me up from my toes to my head and looked away " Where have you been? You are late and your number wasn't reachable too" he questioned with his hands in his pocket.

Mr Kay had an habit of sizing me up every morning when I greet him as if he was trying to see any holes in my clothes and it always make me uncomfortable because I kept wondering what he was thinking in that his head.

I lowered my head " My car suddenly stopped on the way. I'm sorry, Mr Kay. " I apologized sincerely.

Mr Kay looked at me one more time and turned to leave. " Should I follow you, sir?" I asked, a bit confused about what to do next as it wasn't working day and I actually don't know what I'm expected to do today. Mr Kay paused and turned to look at me. He was quiet for a while before he decided to reply " Let's discuss in my office. Let's go." He said to me and I nodded. Working with him was always uncomfortable and I really hated it.

His gaze, his tone, his attitude always irked me...

" Okay" I said as if I was assuring myself as I followed right after him with my hands on my chest.

We walked past my own office as we continued toward his office and that was when I saw another co worker of mine which was our boss's s*x slave.

She rolled her eyes at me and sneered which made my boss to look at me too and he creased his brow

" Why are you grabbing your chest that way?" He asked with a creased brow and I gasped!

I had forgotten that I had my hands on my chest!

" I...I... " I stuttered embarrassingly but I knew i had to say something or else, the s*x slave might think i was trying to seduce the boss and i wasn't the type of person to take such an accusation with light heart.

" My... My heart is fluttering!" I blurted out sincerely and I looked away, I was too embarrassed to look at the two illegal couple in front of me.

" Fluttering?" Lila asked with a mocking smile on her make up plastered face

" Are you in love?" She asked suspiciously and I turned to her with a widened eyes ~

" Yes!" I replied and she made an O sound. " I'm in love..." I wanted to say I was in love with the cold man because I knew that was what I felt at the moment but how could I say that when I didn't even know his name?

" with you!" I said instead and walked away while the boss smiled and followed right after me, leaving the smugging Lila standing rooted on the ground.

I wanted to quickly get over with the meeting with Mr Kay so that I could search online for that man. I wanted to know his name and all about him...

" I'm sure Klara can do that for me..."
