Chapter 1 MEET OF LEO AND DEO

''The world is full of many and different beings, different tribes, different religions, and beliefs. But I was made to believe and fear Him [God]. My parents told me how mighty and powerful he is, they also told me about the two religion that worships Him, and that they are very close to him and even sees Him once in a while.

As a child, it was so easy for me to believe everything they told me about God. I love God, believe in Him, and worship Him, I was even eager to know more than what my parents told me about Him. So I began my findings only to find out little about what my parents told me about God was true. No one truly knows who God is or has ever seen him, they all characterized Him accordingly to the scripture in the Bible.

I had to confront my parents about their lies, but they insisted that it was the truth they told me about Him and that if I believe, he will appear before me one day. And that was what I hold on to.

Then I find out that I originated from gods and my life would never be normal like a Human. Here I also am kneeling in front of God. I know it may sound confusing, but to make everything clear let's start with my parents.....

A girl at the of 5 was cornered by some group of boys [5 in number, both them and the girl wore the same uniform]. The boys were harassing her when a strange boy appeared out of nowhere.

The strange boy said to them from behind, ''let the girl go''.

The boys all turned back to see who it was. They saw the strange boy strangely looking at him.

''And who are you?'' the leader asked the strange boy.

''Let the girl go'' said the strange boy to the boys as he held his fist.

''I know who he is. He is the superhero trying to save her from the villains'' said 2 boys to the others (mocking the strange boy) and they all laughed.

''I suggest you run along to your poor parents unless you have a death wish'' said the leader to the strange boy.

Hearing this made the strange boy angry and ran toward them. On getting to the leader's front, the strange boy punched him in the face very hard that the leader fell to the ground. The others kicked the strange boy away and helped their leader up as their leader hold his cheek in pain. The leader got angry and ordered the others to attack the strange boy.

The strange boy was able to defeat all of them by knocking them all to the ground but he was wounded and weak. The strange boy manage to get to the girl and asked her ''hope you are okay?''.

''Yes I am, but I don't think you are'' said the girl to the strange boy. The strange boy smiled at her then he fainted.

The strange boy opened his eyes to see himself in a hospital. He looked toward the door of the room he was in and saw a man and woman talking to the doctor and also the girl he helped. After the conversation with the doctor, together the man and woman with the girl came to him.

The man asked the strange boy as they got to him '' how are you feeling?''.

''Better I guess'' said the strange boy.

''We want to say thank you for helping our daughter'' said the woman to the strange boy.

''Sorry for our manners, we are her parent. Am Mr. Martin and this is my wife Mrs. Martin. Am sure you have met our daughter'' said the man to the boy.

The boy wanted to stand up to greet them properly but they told him not to and to rest his body.

A FEW DAYS LATER

The strange boy was discharged from the hospital and was taken home by the Martins family. The strange boy was dumbfounded upon entering their home because he has never seen such a big and lovely home as that of the Martins.

The strange boy was told to sit down and he did then Mr. and Mrs. Martin sat down together with their daughter in the middle.

''First, I will like to know your name because I haven't got the chance to ask you'' said Mr. Martin to the strange boy.

''My name is Adewale'' said the strange boy.

''Wow, you have a nice name and it sounds familiar with that of my daughter's, her name is Adetutu'' said Mrs. Martin to the strange boy.

''I noticed in the hospital that no one came to check up on you or even create an awareness that you might be missing. I don't understand why, can you please share light on the matter'' said Mr. Martin to Adewale.

''I don't have anyone, am an orphan. l sleep on the streets wherever I am when night falls'' said Adewale.

''Oh, that's sad for a little boy like you. We are sorry'' said Mrs. Martin to Adewale.

Mr. Martin looked at her wife and gave her a sign that they should leave the sitting room to have a private conversation, which she understood.

''We will be right back Adewale'' said Mr. Martin to Adewale and left with his wife, leaving Adewale and Adetutu in the room.

As they got to the kitchen Mrs. Martin asked her husband ''What is it, dear?''.

''Am thinking we should take Adewale in'' said Mr. Martin to Mrs. Martin.

''No, that's a bad idea'' said Mrs. Martin.

''I don't think it is a bad idea, he needs help and we should help him'' said Mr. Martin.

''We can't just adopt a stranger in the house with our daughter. We don't even know what he is capable of or who he truly is'' said Mrs. Martin ( worried).

''I know we don't but I want us to help him. The street is not a good place for kids like him, he could become worst if we let him go, dear. Let's take care of him like a son, in that process we will be repaying his kindness for helping our daughter'' said Mr. Martin.

Mrs. Martin had no choice but to agree with her husband since he insisted.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin returned to the sitting room to see Adewale and their daughter laughing and talking.

Adewale and Adetutu stopped on seeing them then Mr. and Mrs. Martin sat down back as they both smiled.

''I don't know to repay you, Adewale, for helping our daughter but if you don't mind. We would like you to come live here with us'' Mr. Martin said to Adewale.

'' Here?... I will love to'' said Adewale excited to hear that.

''Then you are welcome to Martins' home'' said Mr. Martin to Adewale.

''Thank you so much sir and ma, am very grateful'' said Adewale with a smile and happiness in his heart.

''You must be an adult in a small boy body if you could be so thankful in this way. Well, you don't need to thank us because Adetutu will be lucky and happy to have you around. And again you can be an older brother to her, am sure you are older than her'' said Mrs. Martin to Adewale.

TWO WEEKS LATER

Adewale school is still in process and every piece of equipment he is to use in school has been bought by Martins' family. Ever since Adewale has been living with Martins' family, Adetutu seems to be the happiest person on earth even her parents have never seen her in such a happy state. They thanked God for bringing Adewale into their home.

One night, Mr. and Mrs. Martin were watching a tv program (Adewale and Adetutu were asleep inside), then the program was changed to that news and the news talked about a boy that ran away from the orphanage home. The picture of the boy and the number to call were displayed on the screen [if found].

Mr. and Mrs. Martin were confused and surprised to see that the picture being displayed on the Tv screen was that of Adewale's. Mr. and Mrs. Martin looked at each other shocked then back to the Tv.

Mrs. Martin asked her husband as she stared at the picture displayed on the TV screen ''isn't that Adewale?".

''Am sure we are both not dreaming right?" said Mr. Martin staring at the picture too.

''So he lied to us that he sleep on the streets whereas he ran away from the orphanage home. I knew it was a bad idea taking him in'' said Mrs. Martin annoyed.

''What do we do now?'' asked Mr. Martin worried.

''We do nothing than to call the number and return him'' said Mrs. Martin and picked up her phone then pressed the number on her phone and dialed it.

THE NEXT DAY [MORNING]

Adewale and Adetutu {Adetutu dressed in her school uniform} had just finished their breakfast, and they both sat down in the living room to watch a movie while they wait for Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

The doorbell rang, ''who may that be?'' Adetutu asked Adewale.

''I guess we will have to find out, so am gonna check'' said Adewale and left to the door.

Adewale opened the door and was shocked by who he saw, It was a man and two ladies from the orphanage home.

''Adewale'' the man called his name.

''What are you doing here?'' Adewale asked the man.

Just then Mr. and Mrs. Martin arrived at the living room and saw Adewale standing holding the door as it was opened. Mrs. Martin went to the door and saw the people standing at the doorstep. ''Who are you and what going on here?'' Mrs. Martin asked the people.

''Good morning ma. We are from the orphanage home. You called us last night'' said the man to Mrs. Martin.

''Okay, come in'' said Mrs Martin with a smile to them.

Adewale didn't want to let them in not until Mrs. Martin told him to.

They all sat down in the living room. Adewale sat down alone, the man and the two ladies sat down together, and Adetutu sat down together with her parents.

The man said to Mr. and Mrs. Martin ''First, I will like to thank you for taking care of Adewale for the past two weeks. We are deeply grateful for everything you have done for him''.

''You don't need to besides we were just repaying his kindness. We are also sorry for not contacting you on time. We got the message very late'' said Mr. Martin to the man and ladies.

''There is not much to discuss. This is him. You can take him with you'' said Mrs. Martin to the man and ladies.

Adetutu and Adewale became shocked upon hearing that.

''Thank you so much sir and ma'' said the man with a smile to Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

''No, no. You can't let them take me please'' Adewale plead to Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

''There is nothing we can do than to let them take you. You belong to them not us'' said Mr. Martin to Adewale and stood up, then began to walk to the bedroom.

Adetutu went to her father and kneel in front of him holding his leg. ''Dad, don't let them take him please'' said Adetutu to her father with sadness in her voice and heart.

''He doesn't deserve to be next to you or loved by you. He is a liar, darling. We don't need a liar in our family'' said Mr. Martin to his daughter, and took control of his leg back, and then left.

Adetutu also begs the man and the ladies not to take Adewale with them but her mother stopped her and holds her down while she watched as they leave with Adewale.

Chapter 2 THE CONNECTION

A MONTH LATER

Adetutu had been on and off with her sickness ever since Adewale left. She had been taken to the hospital several times but the doctor couldn't diagnose what was wrong with her, even after several tests. The doctor later told Mr. and Mrs. Martin that Adetutu's illness isn't physical or scientific, that she is emotionally sick and it's a heart sickness. The doctor also told them that she misses someone so dearly that she longs to see and that if they want her to recover they need to find the person she misses.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin thought about what the doctor said and came to the conclusion that it was Adewale she misses. They also remembered the day she asked them if Adewale was ever coming back but they gave her no answer that day. Mr. and Mrs. Martin were puzzled about how their daughter could miss someone to the extent that it makes her fall sick, someone she spent little time with. After many thoughts Mr. and Mrs. Martin agreed that they have to bring Adewale back to the house. Mr. Martin called the orphanage home and seek an audience with the man that came to take Adewale from the house.

Mr. Martin and the man (Uncle James) met in a coffee shop to have a conversation. Mr. Martin said to the man ''thank you for accepting to see me''.

''You don't need to thank me because I was thinking I should come to see you too'' said uncle James to Mr. Martin.

''Really? Hope there is no problem?'' asked Mr. Martin.

''Hope you won't be angry, it's about Adewale'' said uncle James.

''What about him?'' asked Mr. Martin ( curious).

''Ever since we took him from your home he hasn't been himself. He has been on and off with a sickness we have no idea about and he is not even responding to treatment at all'' said uncle James.

Mr. Martin was surprised to hear that. ''That's weird'' said Mr. Martin with a puzzled face.

''What does that suppose to mean?'' asked uncle James.

''Could you believe that is the same thing I came to report to you? My daughter is also going through the same thing'' said Mr. Martin.

''If that's true then it's truly weird'' said uncle James (confused).

''The doctor told us that she is sick in the heart because she misses someone which is puzzling. And does a such thing even happens in this world? But we think it's Adewale she misses that is why I and my wife have decided that we should adopt Adewale so she can get well'' said Mr. Martin.

''It's kind of confusing. Is this thing real? Because have never seen or heard of such illness'' said uncle James (puzzled).

''I also don't understand but have heard only twins can be affected by the same thing at the same time, but both Adewale and Adetutu are not even related.... Can you tell me about Adewale?''asked Mr. Martin.

''Adewale is the only survivor of a car accident that took his parents' life years ago. Even though he survived, it cost him his memories. The police couldn't locate any of his relatives because of the loss of his memories so he was brought to the orphanage home and was given the name Adewale'' said uncle James.

''That's sad'' said Mr. Martin (felt pity for Adewale).

''I also found out why he lied to you. It was because he was being bullied by his fellow roommate at the orphanage home. They accused him of being the one that cause the shortage of their food ration. He didn't want to return to the orphanage home so he had to lie because he knew telling you the truth will bring him back there'' said uncle James.

''I feel bad for seeing him as a liar. I will like to adopt him'' said Mr. Martin (unhappy).

''I will be glad if you do'' said uncle James.

''So how do I go about it?'' asked Mr. Martin.

''The process is not hard. You just need to come over to the orphanage home to sign some papers'' said uncle James.

''I will do that and don't tell him I will be adopting him. I want it to be a surprise to him and Adetutu'' said Mr. Martin.

''No problem'' said uncle James.

''Thank you'' said Mr. Martin with a smile and shake hands with uncle James, then they parted ways.

Mr. Martin made a report of everything he and uncle James discussed with his wife, and Mrs. Martin promised to give proper care to Adewale when they adopt him.

Mr. Martin began the process to adopt Adewale. He had been visiting the orphanage home and had been signing the necessary document he was told to sign. He was able to adopt him and he was to pick Adewale any day he want to.

Uncle James went to check up on Adewale at the sick bay where he was put. On getting in, he met him asleep. Uncle James stood by his side for some time staring at him then he turn to leave but felt a hand on his hand and he looked back to see Adewale awake.

''Hey, how are you feeling?'' uncle James asked Adewale as he sat down beside him.

''I don't know'' said Adewale (unhappy).

''You don't have to worry about anything because you are going to get better very soon'' said uncle James with a smile.

''You only said that to cheer me up. I can feel that am dying'' said Adewale.

Uncle James was surprised to hear Adewale say such words and said to him ''Hey, don't say a negative word to yourself. Young people like you don't die so you are not going to die''.

''I guess mine will be the first then'' said Adewale weakly.

''You are not going to die not under my watch'' said uncle James.

''Uncle, I want you to know if I die I have no regret because I see Adetutu every time I close my eyes and I want you to tell her goodbye in my place'' said Adewale.

''I don't think I will be the one to do that because you will be doing that yourself'' said uncle James with a smile.

''I don't think I can'' said Adewale and his eyes began to close slowly.

Uncle James noticed his eyes closing slowly and called his name but he gave no response. Adewale eyes became fully closed then uncle James became scared and called the nurses for help.

The nurses came in and saw that Adewale was giving up then a nurse started to give him CPR to save him but he wasn't responding. As the nurse continued giving him CPR, uncle James kneel beside Adewale and said into Adewale's ear ''you can't die Adewale. Not now because Adetutu wants to see you".

Adewale opened his eyes to see himself standing in a weird surroundings, everything around him was white except a red door not too far from him. Adewale walked to the red door and was about to open it when he heard someone call his name from behind then he looked back and saw no one. The same thing happened the second time again. Adewale heard his name being called the third time again and looked back but saw no one, and on looking his front back he become startled to see the door had become three then he took a step back.

Adewale stared at the three red doors for some time before deciding to go into the door on his left side.

Adewale opened and entered the door then he met himself standing in a familiar place which was where he saved Adetutu and first met her. Adewale could no longer see the door then then he felt a hand on his shoulder.

Chapter 3 THE CONNECTION II

Adewale traced the hand on top of his shoulder up to see Adetutu and was surprised to see her. Adewale (confused) asked Adetutu ''what are you doing here and why are we here?''.

Adetutu said to Adewale ''right now they are trying in the real world so hard to save you because you gave up. How could you give up so easily?''

''Give up? Oh about that. I didn't want to give up but my heart felt so weak after being taken away from you. Is this place even real?'' asked Adewale.

''Yes and no cause we are in your head right now'' said Adetutu.

''My head? I guess am dead'' said Adewale.

''Well partially dead. But you could have been dead if you had chosen the wrong door'' said Adetutu.

''Oh, you mean those three red door. And am sorry that I couldn't say goodbye to you myself'' said Adewale.

''I won't accept that as a goodbye. If you want to tell me goodbye then you have to tell me that personally in real world not here'' said Adetutu.

''How do I do that? Am dead, Adetutu'' said Adewale unhappily.

''I said partially dead so you are not dead. All you only need to do is listen to the voice'' said Adetutu.

''What voice?" asked Adewale.

''The only voice that can bring you back'' said Adetutu.

''I can't hear any voice'' said Adewale (confused) as he looked at his surrounding to see nothing only for him to look back to Adetutu and couldn't see her anymore and became scared.

''Listen, listen'' Adetutu's voice echoed.

Adewale calmed himself and closed his eyes then he heard uncle James' voice that says ''you can't die Adewale, not now, because Adetutu wants to see you''.

Adewale opened his eyes as he gasp for breath only to see himself back in the room and everyone was happy.

At the same time, Mr. and Mrs. Martin were in the living room watching Tv when they suddenly heard the sound of a plate from the kitchen. Mr. Martin asked Mrs. Martin ''did you hear that?'', as he stopped watching the Tv.

''Yes I did and am sure it's from the kitchen'' said Mrs. Martin.

''And who could that be at this time?'' asked Mr. Martin.

''It can't be Adetutu. Hope it's not what am thinking'' said Mrs. Martin.

''A thief! That is not possible. How could a thief break in when we are here?'' said Mr. Martin in disagreement with his wife.

''What about when we went out. Don't forget we left the door unlocked because of Adetutu. What if the thief broke in then and couldn't leave because he saw us'' said Mrs. Martin.

''I still don't think It's a thief that broke in but let go and check who it is'' said Mr. Martin.

They both stood up, and Mrs. Martin picked up the chair pillow then Mr. Martin asked Mrs. Martin as she picked up the chair pillow ''what is that for?".

"To fight the thief in case it's him'' said Mrs. Martin.

Mr. Martin also picked up another chair pillow and told his wife to lead the way to the kitchen but Mrs. Martin insisted that he should be the one to since he man and he also said it can't be a thief. Mr. and Mrs. Martin were both scared and didn't want to go check on who it was that was in the kitchen but Mr. Martin summoned courage and lead the way quietly while his wife followed.

On getting to the kitchen entrance, Mr. Martin stood on the right side and his wife stood on the left side of the kitchen entrance. They both took a deep breath and looked at each other then Mr. Martin said to Mrs. Martin ''we can do these'', and Mrs. Martin nodded her head.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin both made a sudden appearance into the kitchen with the words ''stop right there'' as they pointed the pillow forward but to their surprise they only startled their daughter who was sited on the floor eating with a glass of juice by her side.

Adetutu shouted at her parents ''mum, dad you scared me'', as she was relieved that it was her parents .

Mr. and Mrs. Martin couldn't give any response to their daughter because they were surprised to see their daughter eating healthily. Mrs. Martin asked Adetutu ''what are you doing here, darling?'', as she dropped the pillow on the floor and kneel in front of her.

''As you can see am eating'' said Adetutu to her mother, as she continued eating.

''Are you okay, baby?'' Mr. Martin asked his daughter, as he also dropped the pillow looking at Adetutu.

''Yes, I am'' said Adetutu with a smile, and carried her food with juice then went to the living room.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin looked at each other in disbelief to see their daughter healthy. Mrs. Martin asked Mr. Martin ''isn't that our daughter or are we seeing things now?'', as she stood up.

''It's Adetutu'' said Mr. Martin.

''Mum, dad, our Tv program is starting'' shouted Adetutu from the living room.

Hearing her voice made Mr. and Mrs. Martin smiled and jumped up happily.

As the Martin family was watching tv, smiling and talking, Mr. Martin's phone rang, and he excused himself to pick up his call. It was a call from uncle James.

Uncle James said over the phone to Mr. Martin ''evening, Mr. Martin''.

''Evening uncle James. Hope everything is alright?'' asked Mr. Martin (happily).

''Well, it almost turns bad but now it's in perfect control'' said uncle James.

''What is that? I also have good news for you?'' said Mr. Martin.

''What's the good news 'cause I also have one. You first'' said uncle James.

''Could you believe Adetutu can now eat and stand on her feet?'' said Martin( happily).

''Wow. Did you find a miracle cure for her?'' asked uncle James.

''No, she just became healthy and well all of a sudden'' said Mr. Martin.

''That's good. Could you also believe that Adewale is also now well but he almost died?'' said uncle James.

Mr. Martin was scared to hear that and asked ''what happen?''.

''I went to see him and he said he knows he was going to die and almost did. But after whispering your daughter's name into his ear he decided not to anymore'' said uncle James.

''That's weird. I think they must love each other so much'' said Mr. Martin.

''It may be so but I think there is something about both of them that we don't know or understand. Come to think of it. When he was sick she was also, and now that he is fine she is also. I don't think this is a coincidence or natural'' said uncle James.

''You may be right but even if there is something about them, how do we find out what it is?'' asked Mr. Martin.

''I can do that if you want me to'' said uncle James.

''Whatever it is shouldn't we leave it'' said Mr. Martin.

''Sir, we live in a country where supernatural stuff happens. Who knows maybe finding it out will help them and us'' said uncle James.

''Are you suggesting that whatsoever is going on between the both of them is supernatural'' asked Mr. Martin.

''Who knows, it may or may not'' said uncle James.

''Okay. How are you going to find out?'' asked Mr. Martin.

''My brother is a shaman he can tell us what it is that is going on between them if it is not natural'' said Uncle James.

''No problem. Let me know if you find out anything'' said Mr. Martin,

''Okay'' said uncle James and hung up then Mr. Martin return to his family.

Later in the night, Mr. Martin told his wife everything he discussed with uncle James.

MORNING

Mr. Martin was dressed in his suit and was prepared to go to work. After having his breakfast, he carried his briefcase to leave the house but was stopped by Adetutu at the doorstep. He bent down to match her height but was still taller than her. Mr. Martin asked her daughter with a smile written all over his face ''what is it, my princess?".

''You promised me a present last night. You said you were going to give it to me this morning'' said Adetutu to her father.

''Oh about that. It was just a joke'' said Mr. Martin with a smile.

''I don't care. I want my present right here and now'' said Adetutu with a frowned face.

''Okay, let's do it this way. I promise to bring it tonight when am coming home'' said Mr. Martin.

''You promise'' said Adetutu.

''Yes, I do. Now smile'' said Mr. Martin, and Adetutu smiled. They both did a pinky swear as requested by Adetutu.

''Okay, be a good girl and listen to your mum'' said Mr. Martin to his daughter and kissed her forehead before leaving.

AFTERNOON

Adewale was playing with his friends when he saw uncle James coming, he quickly ran to him and hugged him. They separated then uncle James asked Adewale ''how are you feeling now?''.

''Much better than you'' said Adewale with a smile to uncle James who also smile.

''Don't you know that's disrespectful to an elder'' said uncle James.

''Am sorry'' Adewale apologize.

''It's okay. Come I got something for you'' said uncle James and hold Adewale's hand then they left together.

Uncle James and Adewale both went to an empty classroom and sat down. Uncle James brought out a small box from his pocket and presented it to Adewale with a smile. Adewale collected it and uncle James gave him a go-ahead to open the box. Adewale opened the box and saw a cake inside of it, he was happy and gave uncle James a side hug.

''Thank you, uncle'' said Adewale to uncle James (very happy and smiling).

''Now get on with it'' said uncle James with a smile.

Adewale took a bite of the cake and said ''yummy''.

''Pack your bag before nightfall'' said uncle James.

''Why? Are we going somewhere?'' asked Adewale as chew the cake in his mouth.

''Don't worry, you will find out in the night'' said uncle James.

NIGHT

Adewale lay down on his bed as many thoughts run through his mind which are, he hope is not being adopted by someone strange and wouldn't be able to see Adetutu again.

Uncle James ajar the door to Adewale's room, showed his head and saw Adewale then said to Adewale ''come on its time''.

Adewale got up and carried his bag then followed uncle James.

On getting close to the gate, Adewale (worried) stopped walking and asked uncle James ''where are we going, uncle?''.

Uncle James stopped walking too, looked back at Adewale and saw he was worried. Uncle James asked Adewale ''do you trust me?'', Adewale nodded his head, ''then you have nothing to worry about. Come on let's go''.

As they walked out of the gate, Adewale saw Mr. Martin standing beside his car and was surprised to see him.

Mr. Martin said to Adewale ''Hi'', on seeing Adewale.

Adewale wondered what going on seeing Mr. Martin and as uncle James went to Mr. Martin and stood beside him then uncle James said to Adewale ''just like have told you. Adetutu wants to see you and that is your ride to her'', as he faced Adewale.

Hearing that, Adewale became very happy and ran to uncle James then gave uncle James a warm hug. Uncle James said with a smile to Adewale ''you have to go now, she is waiting'', seeing Adewale wasn't ready to let go him then Adewale separated with him.

Adewale said goodbye to uncle James and Mr. Martin also said his goodbye to uncle James then Mr. Martin and Adewale both got into the car and Mr. Martin ignite it.

As Mr. Martin drove, Mr. Martin said to Adewale ''am sorry for not trying to understand you and for calling you a liar. Uncle James told me everything that happened''.

''It okay sir'' said Adewale, excited that he is going to see Adetutu.

''You will have to stop addressing me with a sir because we have already adopted you as our son, so you can call me dad'' said Mr. Martin.

''Okay, dad'' said Adewale happily.

''That sounds good. One more thing. You are a present I told Adetutu I was going to give her tonight, so we have to plan on how to present you to her'' said Mr. Martin with a smile, Adewale also smiled.

Adetutu was watching Tv with her mum in the livig room when her dad came in then she ran to hug him on seeing him. Mr. Martin dropped his briefcase on the floor and carried Adetutu as she got to him while Mrs. Martin carried the briefcase and they all went to sit down. Mr. Martin asked his daughter as she sit on his lap ''how was your day, my princess?''.

''It was great thanks to mum. What about yours?'' asked Adetutu with a smile.

''What will you do about his day if it wasn't good?'' Mrs. Martin asked her daughter.

''Leave my daughter alone, let her ask her question. My day was fine'' said Mr. Martin to Adetutu.

''Dad, where is the gift you promised me?'' asked Adetutu.

''Um...i...might kind of....'' said Mr Martin.

But he couldnt finish his words as Adetutu cut in ''don't tell me you don't have it''.

''I was just kidding. Your gift is at the door but you will have to go get it yourself'' said Mr. Martin.

Adetutu stood up immediately and went to the door. On getting to the, he opened the door and saw the best present she has ever been given.

Adewale said to Adetutu ''Hi, Adetutu'', on seeing her. Adetutu gave no response to Adewale but hugged him happily.

''I miss you Adewale'' said Adetutu to Adewale (still hugging him).

''I miss you too'' said Adewale.

Mr. and Mrs. Martin came to the door smiling then Mr. Martin asked his daughter ''so how was my gift?''.

''You are the best dad ever'' said Adetutu (still hugging Adewale), Mr. and Mrs. Martin smiled.
