MY GIRLFRIEND IS A BUNNY

" Camila!!! Camila!!. Are you still sleeping in that room? Mary!" Mary comes running in to the sitting room " yes mum, you called" Mary said to her mum " where is Camila?" She asked and Mary look at the room " she's still sleeping mum, I woke her up but she shunned me away" Mary explained and their mum make her way to Camila's room, She open the door and berg in to the room. " Camila!!!" she yelled and Camila sprang up from the bed looking terrified.

" you finally decide to wake up right? I have been calling you since but you ignored me right?" Mum yelled and Camila cover her ears " You are shouting mum, it's too early" Camila said and her mum pick up a pillow and throw it at her but Camila Dodge it and run inside the bathroom. " This girl will always make me shout every morning. Meet me in the kitchen when you are done taking your bath. Your sister always wake up early and help with the house chores but you, you Camila always sleep and wake up whenever you like. Can't you learn from your Sister? And make sure you dress the bed before coming out of this room" Her mum said and walk out of the room.

Every morning in The Anthony's house is always like that, That was Mrs Helen Anthony shouting at her second daughter, Camila.. Mr Anthony who is sitting on the sofa reading a newspaper raise up his head and look at his wife coming out of Camila's room mumbling some words. " Why are you always shouting on that little girl every morning?" He said and Helen pause then she turn back and face her husband. " what did you said?" she asked pretending not to have heard what he said. Mr Anthony drop the newspaper on the table and sigh.

" Camila is just a little girl but all you do every morning is to about at her. Can't you talk to her the way you always speak to Mary?" Mr Anthony said and Helen smile. She walk closer to him and pick up the newspaper " you know who Camila is, and besides, she's not a little girl like you always say. Camila is a teenager for Goodness sake, she don't like doing anything" Helen said and open the newspaper, " I know but you should take things easy with her. Don't you fear it will affect her ?" He asked and Helen sigh, she drop the newspaper and look at Mr. Anthony " That girl is trouble, I have many things to do in the kitchen Honey" She said smiling and go to the kitchen.

Few minutes later, Camila comes out of her room and smile seeing her Dad in the sitting room " Good morning Dad" she walk closer to her dad and peck him on the cheek. " Here is my little girl. Hope you slept well?" He asked touching her face and Camila node her head. " yes Dad, and...."

" Your sister is waiting for you, Camila. Don't you want to go to school today?" Her mum interrupt her from the kitchen door and Camila quickly put on her sneakers and go to the kitchen. " Good morning mum" She greeted and she sit on the dining table close to Mary, her sister. " Here, eat your breakfast and go to school" Helen passed a plate of scrambled eggs and a cup of tea to her. Camila gulp down everything within a blink of an eye leaving Helen and Mary staring at her in bewilderment.

" Camila! Can't you behave like a proper girl just for ones?" Mary asked and Camila scoffs " I eat the way I want. Hurry up and let's go to school" she said standing up from the chair. " Is this how you will eat in front of you cru...." Camila quickly cover her sisters mouth preventing her from completing her statement.

Helen turn to the kids and Camila uncover Mary's mouth " what are you talking about?" she asked Mary and Camila start laughing. " Don't mind her mum, she didn't say anything" Camila said laughing and Mary push her " Why did you covered my mouth, do you want to contaminate me?" Mary asked Angrily. " You girls should stand up and go to school, you will miss the bus" Helen said and Camila pick up her backpack and put it on her back. " let's go sis" she said smiling and Mary stand up. " Good bye mum" They wave and go out of the house.

" Hey Mary" Mary's friends call her and she walk to them leaving her sister to go to the school by herself. " you look so pretty as always" one of her friends named Nala said and Mary smile. Nala look at Camila who is walking ahead of them and smile " Hey Camila, no greetings today?" Nala asked and Camila turn back and smile " Hey" she wave and continue walking. Nala turn to Mary " your sister is always ugly and you are the prettiest" she said and Mary smile happily.

" Really?" She asked touching her face " Yes, everyone knows and that's what they are all talking about" Nala said smiling. " I'm so glad that they see my beauty. Let's go quickly before the bus leave" She and her friends hold hands and run ahead of Camila and at the process of running, they knock her down. " Hey!! What was that for?" Camila asked trying to stand up " You should walk properly" Mary said and her friends burst in to laughter. " Stay there and you will be late again today" said Nala and they walk away.

" this girls want trouble from me and I promise to give it to them someday" she clean her skirt and walk faster to the bus stop, she is so lucky because the bus is about to leave when she reach the bus stop. She quickly enter the bus and it start moving. Camila sit down on the first sit in the bus to avoid any argument with any of her sister's friends or her class mates.

They Arrive at the school and Camila start going to the class walking face down and avoiding an eye contact with anyone. " Everyone just hate me and love my sister and brother, they said I am ugly and stupid, they don't want anything to do with me. I don't even have friends in school, the only friend I have is my Dad. My mum always find fault in everything I do but I still love her" She smile and heave a sigh " My mum's the best, she buy many things for me despite the scolding and yelling".. She bump in to a girl making her fall on the ground.

" I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were coming" Camila apologized and help the girl stand up " It's okay" the girl said and walk away quickly. " weird! This girl don't even talk in class, and this is the first day she is uttering a word to me. Wow!! I'm so lucky and maybe she can be my friend" She smile and tap herself on the cheek " wake up Camila, you are in school" She quickly go to the class and sit down on her desk looking at the girls that are playing in the class.

" How I wish they can play with me but none of them want to, look at their curly hairs and pretty face and...." She pause when the Most handsome boy walk into the class ' Her crush'. The girls stop what they were doing and follow the boy to his desk, he sit down and put his head down but the girls didn't go back to their desks. Camila couldn't help but stare at the boy " Hey!" one of the girls banged Camila's desk " my Goodness!" Camila exclaimed holding her chest.

" what are you staring at? " The girl asked and Camila look at her " Do you want to kill me? Why did you..." the girl named Isla interrupt her " Cut the crap and tell me why you are looking at him" she said and Camila point to her chest " me?" She asked and Isla scoffs " No, me. Tell me why you were staring at Andy" the girl said and Camila smile " I don't know what you are talking about" She said and Isla chuckles. " stop pretending ( she lean closer to Camila) Andy will never love you" Isla said and Camila start laughing " This Andy, what gave you the impression that I want anything to do with him?" she asked laughing and Isla smile " oh well, that's good for you. The earlier you know , the better" She said and walk away majestically..

" This girl don't know what she is saying, oh he's so handsome. I wish he is mine" Camila said looking at Andy. The teacher comes in and the girls all go back to their seats. " Anderson Mack!" The teacher called and Andy raise up his head. " Why are the girls all around you? Do you produce honey?" The teacher jokingly asked and one of the girls raise up her hand " yes, Belle" the teacher point to her and she stand up smiling. " Andy is so handsome and he smells Good unlike the other boys" she said and the girls burst in to laughter including Camila. " Really?" the teacher asked and Belle node her head smiling " and what again?" the teacher asked and Isla stand up. " And he is so nice and act so maturely unlike them" she said and the girls laugh again but this time, Camila didn't laugh she only scoffs " Look how they are talking about my crush, I'm jealous" Camila murmured and the teacher point to her " and you Camila?" He asked and Camila turn back and look at the teacher again " me?" she point to her chest " yes, you. Why do you like Anderson?" The teacher asked and everyone including Andy turn to Camila. " She is ugly, none of the boys like her" Isla said and everyone laugh including the teacher.

Camila become sad and look down , " Hey! Stop saying that. Camila is also pretty" The teacher said and the kids stop laughing. " Alright, fun over, let's learn for today" He face the board and write something on it.. All the time he is teaching, Camila didn't listen to him, she is only thinking about Andy " How I wish he will see the way I feel about him" she thought smiling. Andy turn to Camila and see her smiling, he chuckles and pick up his own to write but it fall down and bounce to Camila's desk. The pen hit her on the leg and she pick it up " who threw this pen?" she look around but didn't notice Andy who is looking at her. She put the pen inside her bag and Andy become surprise.

During Recess, Camila go out of the class walking alone to the cafeteria and Bump in to her sister and her friends. " Look who we have here. Where are you going?" Mary asked and Camila smile " To the cafeteria" she said and Mary laugh. " To see your crush uhn? Never mind, I won't tell mum" She said and they walk away with her friends laughing. " why is she always against me? Anyways, I don't care" Camila said and continue walking.

" Hey, where is my pen?" A voice said from the back interrupting Camila who is smiling. " and who is it this time?" she murmured and turn back , her eyes meet Andy's and for a moment, she stare at him as if he is a statue .

" is this a dream or Andy is really here?" she thought smiling. Andy snap his fingers on her face and she come back to reality. " where is my pen?" He repeated " Your pen isn't with me" She said and Andy chuckles. " my pen is in your bag" he said pointing to her bag. " I... ( Camila the. Remember she put a pen inside her bag) oh I'm sorry , I didn't know it was yours" she apologized and bring out the pen from her bag " I don't need it again, you can keep it" Andy said and walk away.

" wow!! He gifted me his pen, oh my Goodness, I now have one of his things. I will make sure I keep it safe" she said happily holding the pen to her chest. " This is one of my treasures and I will make sure I keep it safely. Muaah" she kiss the pen and put it back in the bag.

After school, they go home and Mary throw her bag to Camila. " take it to my room and make sure you don't touch any of my things" she said and Camila pick up the bag. " Don't touch anything" Mary repeated and Camila sigh " I heard you" she said and enter Mary's room. " wow!! Her room is so girly" she drop the bag on the floor and go to the mirror. " wow! She have so many cosmetics and don't want to give me any. I don't even like make-up" She pick up a powder and open it " it smell so Good" She sniff it and put it down without concentrating , she mistakenly drop it to the floor and it break in to pieces. " oh no no no, Mary will kill me" she bend down and start packing the broken pieces from the floor.

" what is she still doing in my room? I told her not to touch anything" Mary stand up and go to her room " what!!! My previous powder" she push Camila away and start packing them " I'm so sorry, I didn't know it will fall to the floor , I..." Mary interrupt her " just go away, I warned you not to touch my things" Mary said Angrily and Camila stand up " I'm sorry mary" she said and walk out of the room.

Her little brother who is standing on the couch start laughing at Camila the moment she step out of Mary's room. " I know you broke one of her treasures again, Mary will give it to you this time" he said laughing. " stop laughing at me !" Camila yelled and he stick out his tongue " What will you do? Ugly girl" he said and start running. " wait for me and I'll break your head " She pick up the cushion pillow and throw it on her brother but it lands on their mum's face " what!!" she shouted and Camila run inside her room and lock the door.

" Camila!! Come back here!" she shouted and Mary run out of the room " what is it mum?" she asked looking at her mum surprisingly. " Mila threw a pillow at her and ran inside her room " The little boy said and Mary start laughing. " she threw a pillow at you and you let her go? Just leave her to me mum, I'm going to deal with her. Can you imagine she just broke the powder I bought yesterday?" Mary said and Helen sigh. " Camila is a bunch of trouble ( she pick up her bag from the floor). Go and remove your uniform" she said and Mary enter her room.

That is how Camila's life have always be since she became a teenager, everyone in their neighborhood always call her the ugliest girl because of her hair and the way she always dress. Camila always wear saggy dresses unlike her sister who like fashionable dresses. Mary always dress perfectly with some make-up but Camila is the opposite of her sister. She don't have any friends because none of the girls want to be friends with an ugly girl. Her mum always compare her with her sister and little brother , the only person that love Camila the way she is , is her dad but he is not always in town.

Mr. Anthony is a truck driver who is always on the road but he always create time for his family. Mrs Helen Anthony who is in her early forties owned a saloon not very far from the house. Camila sometimes help her in the saloon after school unlike Mary who always hang out with friends. Camila love reading comic books and always go to the mini book store around their house when she didn't go to the saloon..

9:30pm

Camila is lying on her bed cover with blanket from head to toe, she is Reading a Romance book By her favorite Author. The weather is so cold outside as an heavy rain is falling outside, " I love this weather, it's so perfect for Reading my favorite Books and thinking about the one I love. How I wish he also feel the same way I feel." Camila is still thinking about Andy and then she remembers the pen he gave her earlier. She uncover herself and stand up from the bed, she walk to her school bag and open it. " My treasure" She bring out the pen and sit down on the bed staring at it and smiling happily..

" Hey, what are you doing with that?" Mary said walking closer to Camila , She quickly sit on the pen and turn to Mary " what are you doing in my room?" Camila asked and Mary chuckles. " What are you hiding? Bring it out" She said and Camila hiss " Go back to your room, what I am hiding is none of your business " Camila said and Mary start laughing " This means you took something from my room. Bring it out" she jump on the bed and struggle with Camila " leave me alone!!" Camila shout and Mary push her making her fall on the other side of the bed. " ahn ahn I knew it" Mary said holding the pen to her face but wait, She look at the pen closely. " where did I see this pen? I have seen it somewhere" She said trying to remember where she ones saw it. Camila stand up and snatch the pen from her " Give me back my pen" She said snatching the pen from Mary. " Take it, it's not even worth my hand" she turn to go back and the pause
