Chapter 1

JONES'S MANSION

8:00pm

"Happy birthday !

"Thank you ,'' came Regina Jones's tired reply to each and every one that approached her to wish a happy birthday , familiar and unfamiliar faces.

The crowded ,yet sophisticated mansion ,decorated with expensive lights , glitters, flowers and balloons .Made her anxious and bored ,she kept staring around hoping to find the person that occupied her mind.

She stood up in her elegant diamond dress and chameleon hills which matched perfectly with the deem coloured lights in the ball-like room , stalking towards her father Ryan Jones, who was busy discussing with men in expensive designer tuxedos holding glasses of red wine .

He spotted her from a distance heading towards him and signaled his companions about his departure,they nodded in response before he walked away towards his approaching daughter .

"My love ,'' he called , patting her long strawberry blonde hair which she let down ,with a few diamond pins holding some strands in place .

"Dad ,I am bored ,"she whined like a five year old child , making her father chuckle .

"Why my love is the party not grand enough ,'' he channeled as concern spread through his face , noticing she wasn't joking around .

"It's amazing dad ,I just want some time alone from here ,so I decided to inform you about my whereabout ,she said thoughtfully making him breath a sigh of relief ,he had thought the party wasn't perfect enough for her , because she was his perfect daughter who needed to live a perfect life .

"Oh dear ,you should have just said so ,you got me worried for a sec ,I thought the party wasn't perfect for you ...

"Of course it's perfect dad ,just like you , and I am happy to have you as my father.I love you very much ,'' she said truthfully .

He was the perfect dad after all , even though he didn't have a wife ,he did a better job in raising her , better than anyone she could think of.

"I love you more ,my dear ,I guess you are heading to the balcony ,I will come get you when it's time to open your presents ,take care my love ,'' he said and pecked her forehead before walking back to his companions.

Regina sighs sadly as she makes her way to the stairs ...

"Happy birthday Reginaaaaaaa,her twin best friends screamed from behind , causing her to cover her ears slightly.

She turned around in anger ,but it melted immediately her eyes met with the familiar faces .

"Thank you Jenny and Jessy for trying to destroy my ears ,'' she groaned playfully and they both laughed exposing their white dentition .

She stared amusingly at the identical twins , there was no difference between them , except the colour of their hair which expressed their personalities.

Jennifer Simpson, the older twin ,had black Raven hair that supported her nerdy nature , and Jessica Simpson had a mixture of pink on her black hair which supported her bitchy and crazy nature .

They were the last daughters of their parents who were business partners with Regina's dad .

"Oh come on ! ....we just wanna show you how happy we are, finally we are all of age to start having s*x , Jessica said and earned a smack from Jennifer.

"Really Jessy , is being 18 all about s*x , Jennifer said while Jessica rolled her eyes .

"Enough okay ,yeah Jessy is right and Jenny is making sense ,let's go with that , '' Regina said immediately to stop them from bickering .

"And you guys are late ,care to explain ,'' she issued, staring at the twins as they made faces at each other .

"Jenny made us late ,she couldn't find a dress to wear , '' Jessica said immediately , before her sister could speak.

"What ! "

Jennifer exclaimed....."that's a lie you know I don't spend my time dressing up like someone over here, Jennifer said, narrowing her eyes towards Jessica who took her face away .

Regina swallowed her laughter and patted the girl's shoulders ,"it's fine no more arguments .it's my birthday! .

"Sorry babe , Jessica said and turned to Jennifer ...''You see ,try being like Gina for once ,be calm and collected ,it's gonna fetch you some luck , Jessy mocked and Regina had to stifle her laughter not to attract people's attention.

"Seriously Rina ,I don't understand why you are friends with someone like her , '' Jennifer said, gesturing her hands to Jessica's direction .

"It's Gina from Regina ,not Rina from wherever you got that from , Jessica savaged .

And the twins began to bicker , Regina just stared at them in amusement,there she was wishing she could get siblings , and here her best friends clearly didn't appreciate each other .

She walked away silently without their notice and went up the stairs , heading for the balcony ,a very quiet and reserved part of her father's mansion that she had grown to love at an early age .

Regina wasn't happy because she still had not set her eyes on the person that occupied her mind. Seeing how anxious she had become ,she decided to come up to the balcony ,to have a peaceful and clear view of the beautiful and colourful garden .

9:00pm

After opening a few of her presents , Regina excused herself to have some fresh air and maybe not think too much .

Her dad came an hour earlier to call her from the balcony ,to open up her presents ,which made her cheer up a little .

There were thousands of decorated boxes ,so her father, Ryan ,suggested she open a few , while the maids took the rest to her room .

The few she opened were filled with luxuries ; A new iOS branded phone, jewelries , expensive and sophisticated birthday cards , female cologne ,new designer dresses,bags and shoes worth millions of dollars ,they were just too much it worsened her mood ,she opened the last present which was another Gucci bag and with annoyance she left the gift table and walked outside sadly, heading to the garden .

No one noticed anything because they were busy discussing with one another .

*No gift from him ,not even a show , and the party is almost over ,she groaned inwardly as her frown grew visible.

She was really angry ,but not at him but herself ,she could not understand why she felt that way towards this man ,why she couldn't think of anything but him ,why she's addicted to him,why she couldn't put him at the back of her mind today other than worry about him not showing up to her party .

Maybe because this was the first time he didn't show up in 15 years of constantly being at her birthday parties, it made her sad and anxious,or maybe it was because of his amazing features that she had grown addicted to,she took out her phone and scrolled through her gallery , and over a 100 pictures of him surfaced ,she clicked onto her favorite one and began to lustfully stare at his soft curly hair ,red lips ,blue mesmerizing eyes , cute pointed nose , white skin ,baby face , long eyelashes , killer smile ,crazy dimples ,v shaped face and extraordinary built arbs .

Staring at just his picture got her p*nts w*t.

The night was getting cold as the wind blew in her direction causing her hair and dress to follow in the same rhythm . The beautiful flowers danced in the wind while she stared at them .Rubbing her exposed shoulder,she suddenly felt something silky and warm cover her .That familiar manly cologne hit her nose making her heart beat really loud in her chest .

*He came! She exclaimed in her head , almost about to burst in excitement.

"Happy birthday damsel ,sorry I came late , Desmond Howard's, deep baritone voice boomed in her ears , sending different sensations to her body .

"Desmond !"

She called with a huge smile on her face and turned around hastily to make sure he was the one. She slipped and almost landed on the floor ,but he was quick to save her just in time ,his hands firmly wrapped around her tiny waist .

He pulled her upright and tucked a loose strand of her hair behind her ear , a few inches apart from each other,his hands resting on her waist ,he stared directly into her eyes...

"You look breathtaking pumpkin , sorry I came late ,I was caught up in traffic , '' Desmond said but Regina's mind was absent , she was completely lost in his beauty , which never seemed to stop amazing her .

She hugged him tightly in excitement and relief ,taking him by surprise.

"Am sorry ," she apologized, disengaging from the unannounced hug.

"Why are you apologizing pumpkin ,I should be the one doing so , for coming really late ,I would never miss your birthday for anything in the world ,he said sweetly caressing her face carefully like it was that of an egg.

"Thank you for making it here ,'' she said ,lost for words as her main focus was on his charming lips, that she had kissed in her dreams a million times.

"Here's your birthday gift , "Desmond said, placing a not so large decorated box in Regina's hand ...."I am really sorry for appearing this late but I have to be with your father now, we have something to discuss ,I will see you before I leave ,he pecked her forehead and flashed her his killer smile .

She smiled back and nodded at him ,with one last peck on her forehead , Desmond left the garden , and all Regina could do was stare at his retreating tall figure .

She felt sad seeing him leave , feeling exhausted ,she retired back to her queen sized bedroom to rest ,she didn't like parties anyways .

She texted her dad about the new development and also texted her friends that she was tired and needed to rest after the long day .

Laying on the large bed , Regina dropped the gift box on the bed and realized she hadn't opened it yet. Without a second thought ,she tore it open and met with an empty box. It was almost disappointing until she decided to check further.

Behold there was a paper turned to the other side making it look empty ,it was a note from Desmond to her .

She opened the note and a ticket fell out likewise a necklace ,her eyes shone brightly on seeing it. It was a diamond necklace with silver linings. Just by staring at it she already knew how expensive it was but not to deny how beautiful it was . She went through the tickets and it was a free pass to her favorite concert , it had been sold out for months, and in her hands were VIP tickets specially made for her .

She smiled heartily just staring at the gift Desmond had given to her .He understood her better than anyone else , unknowingly growing wrong feelings for him .

11:00pm

Desmond finally came few hours of waiting ,but he was somewhat in a hurry .

Regina had already changed into her nightwears and was ready for bed ,with the hope he wouldn't show up ,but he did after all,

"Are you leaving already ?" She asked with a racing heart.

"Urm yeah ,I need to get home to Trisha , Pamela is getting all cranky , '' Desmond said and Regina felt a sharp pain in her heart .

She had refused to accept that he was engaged with a three year old daughter and his fiance was no strange lady ,she was a top fashion star ,Trisha Monalisa,she had a one night stand with Desmond and got pregnant, refusing to abort it .

"Oh ! She exclaimed sadly .

"Alright you can leave ,I just wanted to thank you for the gifts ,I really love them ,'' she said politely while Desmond kept staring weirdly at her .

"You are welcome pumpkin , Desmond said and hugged her ,she hugged him back too breathing in his magnificent cologne.

He turned to leave but stopped on his track .

"I'm really sorry for messing up today ,I promise I'm gonna make it up to you ..."

"Would you like to go with me to the concert ? He proposed and Regina felt her legs wobble in excitement,she nodded like a lizard immediately . Desmond flashed her his killer smile that got her heart racing and her desires bobbling up .

"Pumpkin you have something on your lips , '' Desmond suddenly said pointing to the cake cream Regina had on her face from the junk she was eating before he walked in.

"Oh don't worry I will get it out ,'' she said and went to pick her face wipe .

"No I will help you ,'' he suggested and she nodded in agreement handing him the face wipe but instead of taking it from her , Desmond grabbed her waist and pulled her really close ,his gaze on her lips , Regina gulped, shocked by his actions .

*What is he trying to do to me ?*,she asked her numb brain.

Desmond then took the face wipe from her and cleaned her lips ,he pecked her cheek and whispered "Good night "before leaving her in a daze.

She sat on her bed ,with a filled head , thinking about what had just happened ,*He tried to kiss me !*,she thought touching her lips ,but then she began to argue with her thoughts ,it might have just been her imagination .

Tucking herself in bed ,her mind only reminded her of what had earlier on happened ,it took a while before her eyes could finally close for sleep .

Chapter 2

One week later.

JONES'S MANSION

Regina's pov

My room was completely messed up ,my clothes were scattered everywhere but I didn't give much thought to it .

I was clueless on what exactly to wear , waking up by my alarm at 6am.I had a hot shower and a little personal manicure.I knew I should have done that earlier ,just so engrossed in getting everything ready for my first day in college .

Now my room was a mess ,I totally forgot to pick an outfit the previous day , and I was getting late .

My dad walked into my room unannounced and his jaw dropped seeing my messed up room .

"What's wrong dear , your room is a mess ," he gasped and I nodded in agreement looking around the whole place. It was worse than I thought.

"I couldn't find anything suitable to wear ," I complained , tiredly bouncing back on the bed .

"Oh dear ,you should have just said so ,Ronita would have helped you find a nice dress ,you know what, I will help you out ,he said and knelt down rummaging through my clothes ,he settled for a white tank top and a pink Gucci skirt which I didn't notice I had .

He then walked into my shoe closet and brought out a pair of pink leather sandals which had a diamond butterfly design and gave me a pink jacket ,I didn't see him pick.

He placed everything on the bed and told me to change and meet him downstairs , hearing him say that.I knew he was taking me to school and it made me happy. Dad has always been a workaholic but he always had time for me.

I went into the huge dressing room still filled with some of my new and expensive dresses that I didn't want to wear ,I thought of giving it to charity ,I already have enough.

I quickly changed and checked myself out . The mirror showing my reflection .I tied my hair in a ponytail and admired myself ,not a fan of makeup,so just a little lip gloss would do ,and I looked really beautiful ,the clothes dad picked for me were amazing ,it fitted me well ,I thought of asking him his secret in knowing the right things to pick for me then I remember he is a fashion model and works with females my age after all my dad is not that old ,he still looks young and vibrant ,no one would suspect he is 36 when he is looking like a 24 year old .

I came out of my closet and saw the housekeeper and headmaid arranging my clothes back in place ,a 53 year old vibrant mother and the best nanny I could ever ask for.

"Good morning Ronita ,how was your night?''I asked, picking up my bag and notepad .

"It was amazing , Cinderella ," I blushed at her response. She calls me Cinderella for some sort of reason. She said I looked like the Disney princess.

"That's great ,oh I was wondering if you could help me transfer my clothes in the closet to Stacy ,I want to give them up for charity ,I said and she nodded with a huge warm smile on her face .

Stacy is Ronita's daughter , she's a philanthropist and also owns an orphanage for girls and boys separately ,she saves homeless females ,both young and old , mostly the abused ones , and for males as well doing the same, she's one of my role models ,I love what she does and hope I get the chance to save lives too.

"I will ,thank you dear ,Ronita says I stepped forward giving her a bear hug , she's like the mother I never had.

"I will see you later ,bye ,I kissed her cheek and scurried out .

Dad was waiting in his new white BMW sports car.I got in and apologized for being late. He shrugged and told me I looked nice in my dress.

"All thanks to you dad ," I said and heard him chuckle before roaring the engine back to life .

My new college was an hour drive ,so dad and I discussed all through .

"What do you mean dad ?" I asked when I heard him say "it's your first day in college ,make an impression .

"Come on dear ,you know what I mean ,be at your best behavior and make more friends he said and I sigh,that was the exact same thing he said on my first day in highschool.

"Dad that's old fashioned,I am already popular, people know me there's no need to make an impression or whatever ,if they wanna be my friend then they can just walk up to me ,it's how the cool kids roll ,I tell him and he stares at me with an amused brow.

"Goodness , your generation is a handful. Back in my days ,on my first day of school I had to make an impression to find good friends. He started to lecture, making me roll my eyes.

"But dad you said you weren't rich and popular so maybe making an impression was what helped you ,as for me I don't think I need to do that and besides I already have great friends ,I don't need more ,I tell him with a hint of finality in my tone.

"If you say so ,he replies and pulls up at the gate of the huge building ,my jaw dropped at how magnificent the building looks ,I didn't notice it took half the street .

BRIGHT FUTURE COLLEGE ,was clearly written in bold letters on a huge sign board.

"Wow , Desmond built this ? I questioned and dad nodded his head , unlocking the car .

BFC ,is one of the most prestigious and elaborate colleges in America and it's owned by Desmond , apparently Desmond's family ,but he took it to the next level.

"Desmond will pick you up later ,I won't be available ,oh and dear make an impression and get new friends okay,he leans in and pecks my forehead before waving at me as I alight.

"Bye dad,I waved back and watched him drive off .

Sighing ,I walked past the gate after politely greeting the security man ,he cheerfully replied back .

I search around for Jenny and Jessy, they had informed me the other day ,that we should meet at the hallway but it was going to be harder than I thought , students were scampering everywhere , dressed in expensive designer clothes and holding expensive bags ,somewhere talking in groups , others walking in and out of the huge building that stood majestically before me ,the blue paint which is my favorite color used to beautify it made it look outstanding ,there were other huge buildings , packing loots filled with expensive cars ,a nicely trimmed garden and a water fountain next to the agricultural building ,this place looked like heaven ,my definition of heaven.

"Regina !! I heard someone yelling my name and I turned to see Jenny and Jessy running towards me.I felt relief seeing them ,now I know I am not alone.

"Hey guys ,been searching for you girls ,I said immediately they got to where I was .

"Sorry about that , mom insisted on dropping us today and you know her , Jenny said and I nodded.

Who doesn't know Mrs Simpson ,the slowest and careful driver in New York .

"Woah ,we look like triplets ," Jessy exclaimed while checking us out ,she was right ,we wore skirts and tank tops.

"Shall we ,"I said and they nodded ,we walked into the building and people in the hallway began to stare at us ,I mean who wouldn't , Jessica was looking as sexy and bitchy as ever ,she wore a skimpy short black leather skirt ,a red tank top, leather jacket and a black boot, and her hair was now completely dyed red ,she looked like someone who was going to kick some asses , combined with her dark make up ,she looked more like a mafia woman .

And Jennifer was looking breathtaking and really cute ,she wore a red tank top , white short skirt ,a pair of white Dior sneakers and jean jacket ,her hair was in a tight bun and instead of her usual glasses ,she wore a primed diamond glass which is for sure recommend because of her poor eyesight, designed by her mom .

We walked majestically , heading straight to the principal's office to get our maps and timetables , finding it wasn't hard because dad had narrated how I would get there .

Jennifer knocked on the mahogany door , standing tall and strong , shielding the office from our sight .

"Come in ," a strong husky voice answered,we walked in simultaneously and the white bearded old looking man stared at us with familiarity before his lips broke into a smile .

"Good morning sir ,we chorused a greeting to the old man whose name appears to be , Mr Nicklaus on his desk.

"I have been expecting you all , please a minute ,he did a few search on his desk and then brought out three papers , and handed it to us .

"That's your map around the school ,all you need is in there ,as for the class time table ,I have added you three into the school's group chat ," he tells us .

Immediately my phone beeps and so did Jenny and Jessy ,we saw the notification and I nodded in confirmation seeing what had been sent.

"Thank you sir ," I said and he nodded. The girls and I walked out of his office , heading to our first class. We had different classes because our courses were different.

Jenny is a smartie pants, she's also a science freak, and hopes to be a doctor in the future,and Jessy might seem careless but she's one of the best student in her field of Art and craft ,she hopes to become a fashion designer and model of course , and me I am a straight A's student in my field of commerce,studying business administration ,I am actually preparing myself for taking over my father's companies in the future.

We got to the class and it was almost filled up ,only the back space had empty seats , and I really hated back spaces , it's filled with dirt and unseriousness ,I couldn't bring myself to sit there ,so Jessy did what she's good at ,which is scaring people.

"Hey you , bounce ,she yelled releasing off her dangerous aura ,the three ladies at the front roll scurried off without a second thought .

"These seats are empty ," she says innocently, like she didn't just scare off three girls .

Everyone was staring at us ,some girls glaring at us while some stared at us with fear ,the guys were admiring us but I didn't have time for that ,my sense of reasoning with other guys had been taken away by Desmond .

We settled in and minutes later class began.

Chapter 3

Lunch time

CAFETERIA

Regina's pov

"Gosh classes felt so boring ,Jessy whined ,as we ate lunch at the cafeteria ,a pack of burger , French fries and soda but I preferred apple juice .

"It wasn't that bad for me ,I also made a new friend , " Jenny said justifying how her classes went .

"Mine wasn't that bad too ,but there wasn't anything fun to learn other than theories of what I already know ," I say to them , grabbing my apple juice.

"Wait Jenny, did you say you made a friend?I questioned reminiscing over what she said .

Jennifer is the shy type ,I have never seen her with any other person apart from her family and me ,it surprised me hearing she made a new friend.

"Yeah I did ,his name is Frank ," she said, dipping a french fry into her mouth .

I stared at Jessy , and we both giggled .

"Oh no you don't ,I just met him today and besides ,I said friend ,"she quickly defended herself knowing the reason behind our giggles.

"Oh sis ,I have been there ,it's either you guys become FWB or a couple, that's how it's done girl ,Jessy says earning a glare from Jenny .

"What's FWB ? Jenny turns to ask me .

"Friends with benefits ,I tell her and her brows knit into a deep frown .

"Jessy ,she growls like a wolf .

"What ? It's the truth babe,all I can say is be careful ,Jessy says with a shrug .

"You disgust me Jessy , Jenny spat and I could feel the tension between them grow .

"I have a crush ! I exclaimed to their hearing, gaining their attention . Gasps escape from their mouths .

"No way , Gina you have a crush , Jessy says her mouth wide open.

"No freaking way ,you have never had one before, what's his name , Jenny asks curiously.

"Oh his name ...I suddenly grew nervous ,I did have a crush but I couldn't tell them who it was ,they might freak out ,"his name is carrrrrrl....

"Carlie ,Jessy completes and I immediately nod.

"Girl you are lying ,she argues .

"Yeah Jessy is right ,boys aren't named Carlie it's a girl's name , unless you are gay ,she suggests making my eyeball grow wide .

We all stared at each other and gagged at the same time.

"Ewwwwwwww !

"No way Jenny,how could you even think that ," I ask and she shrugs.

I sigh inwardly ,they totally forgot about their bickering and we talked for the rest of the lunch before going our separate ways .

The day ran by so fast for me , I finished all my classes and was ready to go home,it was just 3pm , Jenny and Jessy still had classes till 4:30pm,I was the only one done for the day.

Just as dad had said , Desmond came on time to pick me up.I didn't recognize him when he drove in with a new sports car the same as dad's but black in color .

"Shall we pumpkin ,he gestures towards the car ,"I grinned like a child and followed him .

Instead of taking me home ,we stopped at a restaurant to get some ice cream. He suggested it as a treat for missing my birthday party .

"What would you like ," the happy-going waitress asked me , and I told her my favorite ice cream.

"Strawberry cones ,some extra cream and chocolate chips ," I tell her and focus my gaze on Desmond who is absentmindedly typing on his phone .

"Sir ,the waitress called but he didn't pay attention to her ,so I signaled her to stop.I picked up the menu and saw a few of his favorites listed.I ticked them with my pen and gave it to her ,she smiled before leaving .

"Desmond ,I called and his attention was immediately taken away from the phone which was strange to me. He didn't answer the lady who called more than twice ,but just hearing me faintly call his name ,his head snapped towards me.

"You were so engrossed in your phone ,I just wanted you to know I made an order for you ," I said and his amazing lips curved into a smile .

"Thank you ,his angelic voice rings into my ear , goodness gracious .

"You seem busy ,hope I am not intruding ," I said to him, barely looking at him ,I just couldn't ,I don't know what would happen if I did .

"Of course not ,I was just texting my assistant ,do you want something ? He asks .

"No, I am fine ," I replied nervously.

"You look really beautiful today ," he says and I began to struggle with my burning cheek.I didn't want to blush but it was impossible.I felt ashamed knowing fully well that my face is now crimson red.

"Th...thank...y..you ,I stuttered feeling really stupid .

Afraid to look at his face and see disappointment ,I hang my head low playing with the table cloth.

"Look at me, pumpkin ," I suddenly heard him say .

I looked up to see him leaning close "you are breathtaking when you blush ,did anyone ever tell you that ?,he asks

I shook my head negatively as my cheek flushed even more ,I just needed somewhere to hide ,or something soothing to take in and reduce my tension,just in time the waitress returned with our order and I breathed a sigh of relief , digging into my ice cream almost immediately .

"Wow how did you know what to order ,these are all my favorites ," he says amused while I give myself a thumbs up in my head .

"I just randomly picked ,I lied, placing a chip in my mouth.

"Thank you again ," he says before grabbing his Expresso waxed with cream, a half sliced lemon cheesecake, and waffles .

I lost focus on my ice cream and started staring at the way he munched neatly on his cake ,his Adam's apple moving in a slow rhythm ,my legs were slightly trembling ,desire washing through me .

*Why is he so perfect?I thought to myself, still drooling over him .

He took another bite on his cake , and a small piece was stuck to his lips. My hands itched to get it off ,but I couldn't do that so I just stared at the piece and enjoyed his lips while I was dying to touch it .

Noticing the piece on his lip ,he took his lips into his mouth and sucked on it to get it off ,right there I knew I had enough .

"Excuse me ," I tell him and quickly run off to the toilet .

I needed some time to think ,what the hell was wrong with me ,my legs were still trembling and it was getting visible ,I washed my face in the basin and took a seat at the waiting room to relax myself .

I almost lost it back there ,I felt like grabbing his shirt and smacking my lips on his , kissing him like my life depended on it . But this was wrong , everything about it was wrong . This man I am dreaming about took care of me when I was three. Having such feelings was so wrong it made a tear slip out of my eyes. Why did my life turn out this way ,why couldn't I get a normal crush on boys my age .Why him of all people ?

I walked back into the toilet and washed my face for the second time , before returning to the table , Desmond looked worried seeing me ,he stood up immediately.

"What is it Gina ,are you alright ,are you having a brain freeze because of the ice cream ,I will take you home ," he said but I shook my head .

"I am fine Desmond ,I felt really pressured so I left in a hurry ,I lied and thankfully he bought it .

"Let's go ,you got me really worried ," he says as we both walk out of the building.

"I love you Desmond , and I want to be with you for the rest of my life ," I said to him and he looked really shocked.

"Why would you say that , never say such ever again or I will tell your father?"he replied and I felt my heart sink into my stomach.

"Regina ,earth to Regina ,I snapped out of my trance and realized I was just imagining things ,we were now standing close to his car.

"Oh, I'm sorry , were you saying something ,"I asked.

"Yeah but then you totally zoned out , what's wrong ,is there something you want to tell me ,"he asks but I shake my head negatively .

"No, I am fine ,I was just thinking of school work ,"I lied again ,I couldn't count how many times I lied in just one day .

"Let's get you home then ," he says and opens the door for me to get in ,we drive out minutes later back on the road.
