Ava is relocated to manning town where being a lesbian is treated as treason. You either suffer the consequences of being born the way you are. In her new school, she falls for kara manning the major's daughter who kept her sexuality a secret till she couldn't resist Ava's charms.

Chapter 1 One

It was heavily raining that night when Ava Sinclair decided to relocate to Manning. A town that went below the word civilisation to old age. She never cared where she was being sent. She believed something amazing would happen during her time in that miserable town. Yet did she believe, she thought it was to happen.

Her crazy short red hair style gave the citizens who were looking through their windows a first impression of a not easily commanded stranger in town. Driving through the road in her muchly printed truck with the car windows lowered for a view looking at her map for directions.

She arrived her cottage. A rather very miserable house near a small Bush were she was supposed to stay by herself as she assumed. Very distanced far away from the other homes.

The presentation of the house was extremely discouraging to her sight. Leaking roof, broken door, dirty water and messed up room overoll. She had to mend a few as fast as possible inorder to get a rest cause the next day was school.

Her father was very available when it came to discouraging her sexuality but never cared about her way abouts. Never cared about what she ate or where she left to. Her mother was the actual opposite but so much of a submissive party when it came to obeying her husband Daniel sinclair.

After a blow of Ava kissing a girl in the news papers, Daniel did his best to cover up every story that was written about his name and in a few days, no one was talking about Ava's romance. Then he took the liberty of finding a crucifying place to keep Ava from damaging the Sinclair name.

Brenda tried so hard to keep a positive side of her daughter in the family but she wasn't enough. She couldn't stop Daniel from sending Ava away. A thousand miles far from home.

Ava did well at the cottage handling everything like a handy woman for a surprise. She fixed every inch of the house till it looked guest welcoming. For a bit, she sat to think of what kind of blow this change would hit. With her bottle of beer. She considered all possibilities but not that of dropping from school.

The Sinclairs were quite a wealth family . Too blessed to have Ava so far to a less civilised place. No phones, no nothing. Just the people, the homes, there different behaviors and beliefs.

Ava woke up late the next morning as expected. Had her breakfast and got into her truck to get to school which was about a mile away from where she resided. It took her about ten minutes to get there.

Manning university was very impressive. Very ancient and conducted in a military way. All students were in there respective classes according to what the regulations said. A first day guaranteed Ava's getting spared from winning detention tickets.

She arrived into the principal's office. A fine aged gentleman with slightly grey beards and hardly a grey hair in his head. He knew exactly who she was. Welcomed her to Manning University with a smile that barely anyone had given. Gave Ava her class timetable, the school regulations and tried showing her to her first class lesson when he picked on Kara.

"Excuse me Kara, can you help out the young lady." The principal called through the corridors as Kara was passing by.

"Sure principal Andrew's." Kara replied with a stingy smile on her face.

"Should I say she is now your responsibility." Andrews headed back into his office living Ava in the care of Kara.

"Welcome to Manning University Ava Sinclair." Kara smiled staring at Ava's serious cute face.

"Thank you. Um... how did you know my name. Kara?" Ava alternatively asked.

"So you don't read the paper do you? Well, Stuart drops a paper every morning on every door house and today's heading read. DANIEL SINCLAIR SENDS HIS BELOVED DAUGHTER TO A SMALL TOWN AS PUNISHMENT". She gestured in joy. "You should come from a very wealthy family to have your photo on the first page of every news paper."

"Yeah. That defines me clearly doesn't it?" Ava sarcastically answered.

"So, can I call you red?" Kara excitingly asked.

"Well, Ava has three digits just like red. I would prefer Ava don't you think?" She turned looking kara closely in the eyes.

"Well, i will call you Ava. As you wish". Kara smiled approaching a classroom door. "This is your classroom. Better yet. We share the classes and I have an empty seat right next to mine if you would like it."

" you've done quite alot for the passed few minutes and I appreciate it but I will pick up from here. Am rather a preferred loner if you don't mind." Ava opened the door.

Everyone was looking at her from the front to were she took her seat next to a young man. It was obvious they read the paper. Immediately when she took her seat, the teacher had spotted her.

"Miss. Sinclair, it's better to keep a low profile in this school. No one is above the low." She said pointing back at her board.

"Don't mind Mrs. Andrews' temper. She gets jealous at times." The guy next to Ava whispered.

Later on for about five minutes after Ava entered the classroom, Kara came in as well. Everyone kept an eye on her. It seemed like they couldn't get enough of her despite knowing her for a long time or it was just there way of welcoming anyone inside there class evidently after they stared to another girl who came in later on.

"Well nice to me you..??.." Ava puzzles at the guy next to her.

"Manuel Dante. Nice to meet you too Ava Sinclair." He flirted.

"Does everyone here know who I really am?" Ava asked Whispering to Manuel.

" Yes, we read the paper." The whole class including Mrs. Andrews replied excitedly.

"Oh yeah." Ava spoke through glitter teeth having Kara chuckle from the back.

Chapter 2 Two

"You will find everyone here so nosy." Kara clutched at her book as they matched out of the class after Mrs. Andrews' lecture. "Are you Hungry?"

"No." Ava replied fixing a ring on her pinky fingure.

"Well am not either. Should I give you a tour around." Kara eagerly asked looking at Ava from head to toe. "I never noticed at first but your clothing style is a crash you know."

"I will take the tour and quit the talk about my clothing style. I appreciate the compliment though. " Ava trolled fast living Kara a few steps behind when she was announced needed in the principal's office.

Kara crunched into her complying a warning.

"I don't mean to bother you but, I wish to tell you this. Um... well get you prepared for that call." Kara scratched her arm.

"What?" Ava seriously questioned.

"Nothing. Nothing.... nothing at all. You can proceed with what your about to do and I will just mind my business. okay? .... Bye." She turned around making it look like she had nothing to say.

Mr. Andrews was swinging on his chair trying to find balance when Ava verged into his office.

"Those are some manners you got there miss Sinclair. Please return to the door and knock." Andrews pounded his desk scaring Ava back to the door.

Looking all overly stepped on and crushed, Ava knocked.

"Who is there?" Andrews asked minimizingly.

"Ava." She replied extensively smiling at herself.

"Come in and have a seat." Ava threw the door open and took a seat at the table. "You don't just verge on people like that without warning okay? "

"Am sorry sir." She replied calmly. "You called me?"

"Yes! I have a fax for you from Brenda Sinclair. I assume that's your mother."

"Can I read it?" Ava enthusiastically asked.

"Yes, but not here in my office. right?" Andrews tried to understand.

"I want to read it here. I will need to reply right away if you don't mind sir."

"No problem. You can just... um.... do you need any privacy reading it?" Andrews handed Ava her letter.

"No! I don't. Only when am writing. I will need a pen." She smiled.

"But anyways. I will just live you to it. I have an errand to run. If your done writing please place the letter on the table. I will make sure its delivered to the right person." Andrews headed out.

Awaiting what was written in the letter, Ava's interest depressed opening it. Sending a serious face as it read.

My dearest Ava,

I know I can't justify my ignorance. My submissiveness has led to all this. All I want you to know is am sorry from my heart. I won't let you feel alone in that place. Assuming how it is for you to change a life so suddenly keeps me broken everyday. I want to know how your are doing. How is that place taking you? Are you eating well?

I know its alot to ask but I don't want you to loose your beautiful smile that kept everyone around want to keep you to themselves. The sense of humour that passed every difficulty that came your way. Keep smiling and know that on one of the many days, you will have a reason to appreciate everything you've been through.

I know I usually tell you to cry it out but this time I don't want you too. I don't want to know your crying and am not there to comfort you.

I will oftenly make time to come and see you. Talk about the fun times and I want you to ask me for anything you need. Anything, I will surely make it. "

Lots of love.

Mother.

Ending the read, Ava was tearing out, folded the letter back in the envelope. She picked up a Pen and paper to start writing. Thoughts ran through her head as she tried to find a start.

Mother.

How are you mom?

It's funny how you ask me not to cry and yet you know for sure am doing quite the opposite.

You know what I preciously want can't be granted by you but still. I need something impatiently. I need to speak to Audrey in person. If only you can get her to meet here when you come to see me. Just this once I ask. Last time I saw her, we didn't end well.

Thank you for writing to me. It makes me feel less alone.

Your only daughter.

Ava.

She put the letter in an envelope, placed the pen on the table and headed out of the office. Kara was still waiting for her in the hall way leaning against the wall.

"So, should we go for the tour." Ava grabbed Kara by the arm.

"That's a smile you have on there Ava. So there is someone that makes you smile huh." Kara bumped on Ava's shoulder.

"What do you mean someone that makes me smile?"

"Well, for the passed hours I've seen you, your face has been flogged or something but after you came out of the principal's office. Its shining."

"Well, my mom had sent me a letter that's all." Kara changed to a sad face expression. "Let's proceed. Shall we?" Ava pulled her close.

"First you should know, this is manning university, my last name." They both stood at the entrance stairs. "Well bluh bluh bluh. It was found by my great grand parents I don't know about."

"If we are going to bluh bluh bluh around the whole university, then we better just go for lunch. I will take the tour by myself." Ava turned a joking face taming

"No! no! no! no!....... no! It's just that the intro here tires me out but ..... I will start over again. My apologies please." Kara took a few steps back to start over again.

"Relax... ha... I was just kidding... actually I made my homework about manning all i need is just a tour around so i won't get lost when am on my own." Ava took steps back as well grabbing Kara by the hand. "I think we shall get on pretty well. Right?" They both went down the stairs laughing.

"Yeah, i think we will." Kara answered.

Chapter 3 Three

"The tour ends right here. The school library My favourite place." Kara took a seat at the top of a table. "Hello mister Clement." Said she.

"Hello Kara."replied the old man who was seated at the front desk.

"So the library is your favourite spot huh." Ava said seating next to her.

"Well yeah. Mostly because it's quiet. Few students come here. It's peaceful and very private."

"Okay then. Since the tour is done, then we should head back. I need to do some shopping for my house early at the town market which I don't know where to find."

"I can help. with the shopping. I Can help with directions. Am good at that and I think I've proven myself already haven't I?"

"I don't want to bother you anymore thou."

"No!"snapped Kara. "Its not a bother at all. On the contrary. I will be able to lessen the time of reporting home like a ninth grade kid."

"Alright. I see you got yourself an excuse. Thanks anyway." They both walked back to school.

Before evening dark, they were already at the market. Kara picking up a few amazing items among the many.

"Since you have done so much for me today. I would love to invite you for a drink at my small house your dearest father got me." Exaggerated Ava.

"I can't turn down the offer. I would love to join you. Shall we?" They both headed to Ava's truck which parked across the street.

"So tell me about manning the town and you people." Driving careful through the street.

"Well. People here have a nosy reputation. I think you've noticed that already. A number of them are very helpful. Like ms. Stephanie from that store." Pointed Kara at an average old lady who waved back at her. "The others can be a little harsh but all to say. Manning is a wet town but worthy the stay.

"Alright. Thanks for the updates. So I shouldn't be mad at all those bitter faces staring right now? " Ava picked through the mirror.

"No. Not really. All you need is a better ton of living." Said Kara.

"I can try."

It was six thirty evening when they both arrived Ava's cottage. Took out the groceries and slang inside.

"Did you clean up the mess that was here all by yourself?" inquired Kara.

"Oh yeah if you only met it before it was clean."

" well we all know about this cottage. So it's good news to see it this illuminated." Kara complimented. " you don't seem like you are from a well off family."

"When I say that's a step for me. You wouldn't understand." Said Ava as she put away the groceries for the table and grabbed two bottles of beer back to Kara.

"I actually don't drink. " kara said.

"Oh. okay. Since you don't um... drink.... a cup of coffee? Basically what I hate making." Ava smirked.

" yeah? I can make it. I love making coffee. Show me the equipment and I will make some for you." hurriedly skiding a table stool to her left. Kara picked up the kettle from the side and over to the kitchen.

"Am embarrassed. I invite you over for a drink and you become the chef. Who are you?" Looking in amusement clearly very aspired. "You too don't seen to be the mayor's daughter."

"Well, I'm but i love providing special service especially to cute people like you."

"Not to seem ungrateful, let me help out. Well you can teach me how to make one cup of coffee so when I have you back, I won't have to see you make coffee for me again."

"Well. Head on then."

They both checked in the kitchen, had a pot of water on for it to boil. Took a few starts conversating about a million things that made them laugh. Poured out there cups of coffee and took seats at the irritating coach that was set by the table.

Past ten at night when Kara realized how late it was.

"Wow. Its ten and we didn't notice." Said she.

"You are a fun one to hang out with but. You need to hurry home. Let me drive you." Said Ava picking up her car keys from the table. Drifting her jacket on. Slammed the door behind from the house to the car.

Taking kara's directions. In ten minutes, they were at the big house of the mayor.

"Have a good night." Said Ava giving Kara an appreciative giggle. "See you at school tomorrow?"

"See you at school. "

Ava sat still waiting for Kara to head inside the house and when that was done, she took a roll and headed back to her cottage.

Put the coffee cups at the sink with a smile. Took a shower and led to bed.

Better yet the next morning had knocked and Ava was all ready for school. She took her bag pack and threw her jacket on. In minutes, she was at the manning university grounds and Kara was just at the hall entrance waiting when she saw her station her car in the lot.

"Hey you! good morning." Greeted Kara.

"Good morning. And how was your late sleep night?"

"Fine. I had someone pissed but all in all..... it was great. Slept like myself." replied kara.

"Ha ha... who do you always sleep like." Ava picked her bag pack from the other car seat and slammed the car door locked as they both headed to class chatting.

Miguel Dante was all settled in Kara's seat when they headed in. She clutched A seat just close to her and pointed as she said.

"Not today Dante. Just head back to your seat."

"Is that so miss Manning?" The whole class ruthlessly giggled having Ava surprised to how they watch a grown old boy bully Kara.

She confronted. " move Dante. Now. move." Ava turned a demandful face that had everyone quiet when Dante mocked her.

"Oh. What are you to do about it Tommy." Said he growing closing to Ava.

"Everything. Everything there is to do. I will." Pocking Dante on the chest. "Don't you ever bother her gain okay? Or you will answer to me." She passed back to the chair that was just next to Kara's. "If ever I find anyone at these two seats. You will feel my wrath. I promise." She threw herself in the chair and placed her bag at the back.
