LANIE'S POINT OF VIEW

I am currently taking my lunch right now inside a small eatery to prepare for my investigation later. I've been here for two weeks just to capture Marc Roksano, a so known drug lord of this town. My name is Lanie Montilla and I've been working as a secret agent under the black organisation for seven years. I am assigned to capture Marc Roksano to prevent him and his illegal organizations from delivering illegal drugs in this country, and I'll literally make sure that he'll be served the deserve punishment for what he have done.

"A snatcher!!", I heard a old woman shouted. I leaned forward a little bit to see what happened. I'm not even in the middle of my meal but I decided to run faster to catch up with the guy who snatched the old woman's bag.

DAMN HIM!!! I run faster than his steps twice and with a couple of seconds, I finally caught him.

"GOTTYA!!" I shouted under my breath and gave him a round house kick. He blew up and fell on the ground.

He let go of the bag and begged at me to not capture him. "Please do not, I just did it to feed my family. I don't have anyone to rely on and decided to steal just to feed my family" He stammered as he cried and begged on me just to let him go.

"you what? Did it to feed your family? Laughing out loud?" I said sarcastically then I raised my eyebrows "With that huge body of yours,you can't find a great job to feed your family? What if I feed the bullets of my gun to you? HUH?" I irritatedly said to him then I grabbed my PS1 pocket gun and pointed it at him.

"N-no!! No please!! I'm going to bring back this bag. I-I'm not going to steal anymore, just don't kill me" He stammered in fear and started to recoiled. I took a deep breath and grabbed the bag to give it back to the old woman.

"I may give you a suitable job for you, go to the police station, I'll got you, if you won't do as I said and keep stealing other people's property, once I caught you again, you're dead meat, mark my words" I coldly stated it to him then I left him.

I gently gave back the old woman's bag and left them without a word.

As I am walking toward the police station, a young teen boy approached me. "Ma'am Lanie, I finally found you" I looked at him and found out it was buknoy.

"Do you need something?" I asked.

"No, I don't need anything from you, Chief batumbakal said if I ever saw you, I should tell you that he has called for you " He responded with a smile.

I nodded. "Alright, thanks for informing me. I gotta go. See you and take care" I said and pat his back before I continued walking.

I entered the police station to check some of my email notifications before entering chief batumbakal's office.

I knocked three times and opened the door myself, as his office flashed before me, I snapped and salute to him. He stood up and salute back before I put down my hand and enter his office.

"I learnt you called for me from buknoy" I started.

"A yes... Anything you will gonna report about Marc Roksano?" He asked.

I cleared my throat before responding. "I knew a lot of things about him, and I am one hundred percent sure that he's a drug lord. I also detected some of his hideout but before telling you the exact details about it, I would like to caught him first myself. May I?" I responded.

He nodded as he smirked. "As usual, you're doing great, Lanie. Not new to a promoted Y world's agent. " He complimented me as he is smiling sincerely.

I smiled back and stood up. "Is there anything you want me to do? If there's none then I gotta go. There was a snatcher earlier and I have to catch him, I forgot to pay my food on the eatery" I said to him.

"Oh, you may go" He just said. Without a word, I walked out from his office and decided to go back on the eatery where I ate.

When I finally reached it, I apologized to the tender. "Thank god you came back, madame almost killed me when she knew you did not paid your meal earlier" She said relieved.

"Oh, I'm sorry if I made you worried, you know, it's my duty to capture a criminal and I don't have a choice but to run away just to catch that thief. Here is my payment by the way. You can keep the change" with full of embarrassment, I stated. I faked a smile due to awkwardness and I waved at the tender before leaving the eatery.

I sighed. It was an exhausting day... Really.

I wonder how are my parents and nephew on manila? I can't wait to fulfill this mission and visit my family again. It has been two weeks since then.

Sunrise arrived and I decided to go back on my apartment to prepare my guns. All evil deeds of Marc will end tonight, I swear.

As the night came, I entered my PS 1 on my gun pocket from my right side, another PS1 on my left side, then three pocket knife in the pocket of my uniform's knee. Just in case I run out of a bullets, I can use it to defense myself. More guns is too heavy.

I tied up my hair and Waited until the middle of the night arrived.

I had my dinner first and took my rest by an extreme three hours meditation to strengthen my instinct and sense.

As my alarm sounded, a sign that it is time to go, I slowly opened my eyes and stood up to turn off the alarm.

Through my window, I left the apartment quietly and Entered the forest where people harvest coconuts. The province of san Gabriel might be the cleanest place for me here in the Philippines, there are no much cars and some polluted things, and farms are everywhere.

As I am running inside the forest, I heard some guys talking. Just then I realized I'm almost on Marc's hideout and the guys that are talking right now are his people.

I gasped when I felt someone on my back pointing his gun at me...

I immediately pulled the trigger of my pocket shot gun as soon as I reached James Healford's car, a mafia. I am driviy my ducati model 2031 just to caught that son of a b*tch!!! As soon as I finished my Lunch earlier, I instantly decided to capture him.

Once I captured this sh*t, I'll literally going to torture his a*s!!!

I shoot the tires of his car, and it instantly stopped running. I ride toward it and shoot his people that are trying to protect the devil in a human form.

As they fell down and died due to my shots on them, I left my motor and approached and opened Healford's car just to find out that he was actually not here. "DAMN HIM!" I shouted, vexed.

I heard the police services coming toward me too. "Agent faranna, Have you caught healford?" SPO1 santiago asked as he arrives.

"CAN'T YOU SEE THAT I'M NOT HOLDING HIS HEAD? IF I DID, YOU'LL SEE HIS HEAD ON MY HANDS!" I shouted at him.

"DAMN THAT HEALFORD!!! He escaped from me again!!! Damn that sh*t a*s!!" I cursed while glaring at the car. It seems they tricked us again, they changed on another car so quick.

"Huh, seems like you just couldn't defeat your cousin," Lieutenant Enriquez said to me while grinning as he is approaching toward us. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Will you please shut up? " I irritatedly shouted at him. He just smirked at me and faced the other police that was with me to help me capture Healford.

"Let's call it a day, we'll just have another plan to capture him again" Lieutenant Enriquez ordered to the other police then he looked back at me. He gave me a smirked as if he's doing it on purpose just to annoy me. I gave him a death glare before riding my ducati model 2031 and drove as fast as I can.

I don't know where to find Healford today. But wether it's still my mission or not anymore, I'll make sure that I will get rid of him in this world because why not? He deserve that thing!

James Healford is a wanted criminal who's the owner of one of the most biggest organization in underground business... It's been a month since I knew that thing trough spying on that organization.

I almost lost my life for spying their mafia and my father, the police director still prefer Lanie than me despite my sacrifices. That damn Lanie, she always gets everything from me even my father's attention.

One day, I'll make sure that I'll get promoted as an official high ranked office on our agency which is the in W agency.

Madame Y , stands for yvonne is my boss. I am assassin and a secret agent that is working under the W agency, my father only knew that I am a agent and a policewoman but he never knew I'm an assassin.

I'm not planning to reveal my identity to him. He saves people while I kill people, even though I have my reason, he would hate me more if he knew about it.

And then, my cousin will get my father's attention more than before.

"Seems like you're not in the mood this time, faranna" I heard one of my friend said as I am frustratedly reading the documents about james Healford inside the police station.

"Curse that Healford, I'm literally going to kick his a*s off!!" I said and almost agonizing in anger.

"Hahahaha! Calm down. That is why your father prefer your cousin than you" he said then he gave me his annoying laughs.

"Oh you mean that acting cool, introvert calm b*tch Lanie? Tsk. Don't you dare to mention her as my cousin. She's more on like an unpleasant enemy to me " I responded to my friend named Diego.

He chuckled before leaving me. Few moments later, my father called for me.

I entered his office without bothering to knock and or salute to him.

"Even you are already a police officer, you're still disrespectful" The first thing he said were those words. Instead of asking me if I'm alright after that mission, it's seems like he cares more about my attitude as a police than as his daughter. Not new to me anyway. So what?

"It doesn't matter, tell me what do you need this time" I just said to him with an unpleased expression, frowning at him.

He sighed before starting. "I really can't trust you with your mission in capturing Healford, Anna" He said.

I winced.

"So you'll gonna pass it to others? Are you Trying to say on me that I'm weak?" I iconically asked as soon as he finished his lines.

"Look, I need you to rest, Faranna, because I'll be assigning you to a new heavy task. So let others handle Healford" He said and gave back his attention to his papers.

I rolled my eyes out of irritation.

"Alright, if that's what you say so. Seems like we're done talking, I'll go on" I just stated at him sarcastically and left his office.

That's just what he said... But that'll never mean that I'll do that too... As if.

If there's someone who is worthy of killing Healford, it's me. I'll never forgot their tortures to me when I entered their mafia just to spy on them.

But anyway, I will not do this for my mission, I'll do this to fill my satisfaction.

Afterall, I am a person who is meant to kill that is pretending as a good policewoman.

I drove my ducati while I'm contacting my colleague on the hideout of W agency.

"Yes, my dearest comrade who kills for justice!" She joked with a laugh on last as soon as she answered my call.

"B*tch, shut your mouth up! Tell me his location before my father pass him to other" I irritatedly said to her, talking about Healford.

"So you'll really going to do that? Who are you to not to? Tsh! According to the information, they are on the usual bar where you guys used to be on. But!!! Of course, after that chasing you've done, for sure they knew you are a police so they will not go to the places that you knew they usually goes o-"

I cutted whatever she is saying.

"What the f*ck are you talking about? Just get in to the point!" I irritatedly shouted at her as I am driving my motor.

"I'm saying you that they are on a bar you've never got on with them! " She answered.

"A bar? Oh!! You mean the bar I've never been to everytime they invites me!" I responded.

"Exactly you slow head b*tch!" She answered.

I didn't said a single thing, I just turned off the line and drove fast as I can. If I remember well, everytime they goes on a bar to negotiate, they are always on that ' store'.

I'm about to turn my motorcycle in the other direction when my friend called again.

"WHAT IS IT?!!! I'M DRIVING!!!" I asked, vexed.

"About the Healford Mafia-" I immediately cutted whatever she is saying.

"WHAT!!!" I shouted.

"Nah nothing, I'm just going to tell you that using their Helicopter, they seems are going on the land of san Gabriel...y'know, the province where lanie is? If you'll gonna use your motor to travel on san Gabriel, it will took 13 hours for you to arrive there. You may wanna Come back on our agency and have our fastest plane" She stated...

They are going to san Gabriel and had prepared that quick? DAMN!!!

"Come on Anna!!! Other of the police are approaching toward you!" My friend said on the other side.

"WHAT?! WHY!!!!!" I shouted at her.

"Because you are not allowed to do the mission that it isn't yours, that's the number 1 rule of being agent in this agency." Before my friend answered my question on the phone, Enriquez suddenly came here using his police car.

I clenched my fist that is holding my phone, my phone started to crack until it got destroyed through my hand.

I almost wanted to cut my own hand out of my anger.

"pffffttt!! Come on Anna, let Lanie handle Healford, for sure she can do that-"

"NO F*CKING WAY!!!!" I cutted him.

"I WILL NOT LET ANYONE TO HANDLE MY JOB SPECIALLY LANIE!! I WILL NOT ALLOW HER TO GET ANYTHING FROM ME AGAIN!!!! " I shouted at Enriquez as my tears dropped on my face due to my extreme jealousy toward Lanie.

His mocking smile faded as I teared up. He was about to touch my face when I avoided it.

"Don't touch me!!!" I irritatedly said then I drove away from him.

LANIE'S POINT OF VIEW

I immediately stopped walking as soon as I felt the gun pointing out on my head from my back.

"Boys, get her!" The guy on my back said, thinking he actually captured me.

All I want is to capture Marc Roksano without any chaos or fight but it seems like I don't have any choice but to fight them.

Before the other men took any step toward me, I gave the guy on my back a round kick. He recoiled due to it and I instantly grab my PS1 pocket shut gun with silencer and shoot each of them on their hands and legs.

After silently doing all of it, I left them without any words and I then proceeded to their hideout in the Middle of this jungle.

Right now, Marc Roksano and the rest of his people might be thinking that his guards are alright.

As I arrived on their hideout, a wooden house with no single window, I immediately surprised them with my kick on their locked door.

All of them are shocked and started to point their guns to me but thank God I can able to avoid their gunshots because of the extreme meditation I had earlier.

I then counterattack. I shoot each of them on their legs, hands, shoulders and any parts of their body to prevent them from moving and as long as they'll live.

Some of illegal drugs are still on table, it seems like they were in the middle of their negotiation when I interrupted them Including marc Roksano.

But that's not the biggest problem here, It seems like the real big boss is approaching here, the person they will negotiate with. I arrived here too early even though it's so late in night.

"Marc Roksano..." I spilled out as I am glaring at his bloody alive body.

"CURSED YOU MONTILLA!!!" As his tooth are greetings, he said to me.

"You don't have the right one to say that on me. I'll make sure that you'll suffer after raping hundreds of women and killing them like nothing" I answered him. "I'll be a little bit kind if I'm going to kill you right now. I will not let you die that easily" I added then I contacted chief batumbakal.

"Hello?" He said from the other line.

"This is Montilla, send strong forces here immediately" I just stated and I ended the call. I turned on my location and put my phone on my pocket.

Few moments have passed, I heard an Helicopter approaching the middle of the jungle.

The air it produces due to the fan of it blew out the roof of this wooden house.

"DON'T ENTER HERE!!! YOU'LL BE CAUGHT-" Marc Roksano was about to shout but I knock him down before he could tell things about the people who came using their Helicopter.

It seems like I'm too late to shut roksano, the people outside who just came heard him right

I prepared my pocket knife and focus on the noises outside. They turned off the Helicopter and it is so Quite right now. I can only hear wind because there is already no roof of this house.

My eyes widened as I realized what are they going to do to me....

THEY'LL SHOOT FROM THE OUTSIDE!!!

Before anything else happened, I jump out of the roof but someone grabbed me... It was one of Healford's guys....

Eeeeh, so the big boss has arrived huh?

They all pointed their guns to me, warning me that if I move a single motion, they'll instantly gonna kill me.

I'm going to give 5 seconds of myself to think of what should I do.

1....

If I am to observe, the guy on my right side who's pointing his gun on my head should be getting rid of by me. I'll have 0.3 seconds to jump higher and avoid their gunshots.

With my fullest force, it will took 0.2 seconds for me to jump and a tendency of 0.1 second for them to shoot me.

2.....

If that will happen, I'll have another 3 seconds before they realize that I jumped off, while there will be 5.2 seconds for me before I land my self on the surface again.

3....

They'll of course will be surprised but it will only took 1 second for me until they realized what I have done and in that moment, I will give my self 5 seconds to get rid of them before they can get rid of me.

I secretly took out my gun and shoot first the guy on my right side in his head.

Then I jumped with my fullest force. They started shooting but didn't realized I'm on above, thinking I'm still on the spot where they captured me. That situation killed some of their colleagues.

While I'm on Air, I started shooting them and I had gotten rid of five people. As soon as I landed my foot on the surface, with my sight, I tried to avoid the approaching bullets.

"KILL HER!!! IMMEDIATELY!!" I heard Healford said beside the Helicopter and then he entered the helicopter again. I lost my focus because of what he did. There are three gun shots that hit me on my shoulder, stomach and legs.

DAMN IT!

I'm about to shoot Healford when I realized I'm out of bullets!!!

I started to lost hope when my vision became blurry but I glimpsed white cars with red and blue lights, there are so many of them.

Nah I will not die here of course.

"STOP THE HELICOPTER AND CAPTURE EVERY SINGLE OF THEM!!" It was Chief Batumbakal's voice.

My sight started getting blurry when a guy approached me. "Good Job agent Montilla, you accomplished your mission" This guy said.

I smiled at him even though I can't clearly see him and then I slowly closed my eyes as I feel the blood flooding on my stomach due to the gunshots I got.

I slowly opened my eyes and the first thing that flashed before me is a white celling.

"Finally, you're awake" I looked on my left side when I heard a familiar voice.

"U-uncle?" I asked, my vision is still not clear. A few moments later, I finally see the person clearly, it was my father.

"D-dad" I whispered.

"I'm really jealous to your uncle, you always sees him first before me." He said pouting. I laughed and then spread my sight.

I just realized I'm in a hospital room. I wonder how many days did I wasted my time sleeping in this place?

While meditating, Uncle scorpio Mondragon, our police director suddenly entered my room and he's with tita Amity Montilla Mondragon, my auntie at the same time, my Dad's sister... and Aida Mondragon Montilla... My mother and my Uncle's sister.

Uncle Scorpio and Aida, my mother are siblings, same goes to my dad and my auntie Amity.

Then Uncle Scopio and Jonathan, my dad are best of friends, at first my dad don't want uncle Scopio to court Auntie Amity , same goes to Uncle Scopio, He doesn't want my dad to court his sister which is my mom. Their love story are a little bit different and unique and if only I could write a story, I'll probably gonna write their love stories but I don't have time for that.

"How do you feel, Lanie?" Auntie Amity asked as she is approaching me.

"I'm Alright" I smiled then I responded to her.

"You're such a great Police, Lanie. Great job. That was really a great job!"

Uncle Scopio complimented me with a huge smile, it's so obvious in his smile that he's so proud.

"The luck was just really with me that time. May be God knows that I'm gonna save more people that's why he did not let me die." I said to him.

"I almost die in worries after hearing that you got shoot! Next time, don't you ever dear to go on a mission without any men with you!!" My mom sermons as she beat my leg.

I chuckled. "Come on mom, I'm alright. Aren't you proud that your princess is now a queen that can fight without a king? " I joked then they all laughed.

My laughed suddenly fade when I saw Faranna on the back glaring at me.

Everyone got silent.

"H-hi" I did my best to smile on my cousin but she remained her poker face.

"So how does it feel to get everything away from me again?" she asked, full of sarcasm.

"Anna stop, she's injured" auntie Amity prevented her daughter from being sarcastic toward me.

"I-" I'm about to speak when she interrupted me.

"OH shut it up, Lanie! I know and everyone knows you're the best right? You're better than me that even my own parents prefer to laugh with you than asking if I'm alright despite the danger I had-"

"Faranna Stop!!! She is still unstable right now!" Auntie Amity shouted at her that cutted Anna's words.

"That's just a bullets on her legs, stomach and shoulder, compared from the trauma I got when Healford's gang raped me just to spy on them! And you even complimented her than my accomplishments? Shame on a parents like you." With a deadly gazes, Faranna said and fled my hospital room.

I felt guilty after she said those things.

The entire room is filled with silence.

"Scopio... Consider your daughter's situation. I hate the way you're treating her just because of what she have done on her past. " My dad said while looking at Uncle Scopio. "Same goes to you Amity. Guide your daughter the way our parents parented us and don't be a dramatic here." He also said to Auntie Amity.

Then Dad looked at me. "I don't know what happened between you and your cousin, but if you think you're the one to be blame here then don't higher your pride. " My dad said to me. He checked his watchlist. "It's already my office time, I gotta go. I'll leave Lanie to you, hon". Then dad said to mom before he left my room.

After it, except my mom, everyone fled.

"Are you okay, dear?" Mom asked as she touch my hand with no dextrose which is the left one.

"Yeah mom. It's just... I'm bothered about what Anna just said earlier, what's this about spying on Healford about?". I asked her.

She sighed. "It was her first heavy task as a agent. She was given three months to get rid of Healford. She decided to enter the fraternity that is under that mafia. Of course there must be a test of loyalty in entering that. It was just really cruel that a strong woman like her cried on my shoulder and almost give up on her mission. Then she got promoted as an official member of the mafia, that's when she got gang raped for another test. She did all of that just to make her parents proud." Mom stated as her face looks really concerned.

I almost had a anxiety attack after hearing that.

She got that far for a mission?

"She must really felt bad after hearing that I'm the one who got the award for capturing Healford when if it isn't for her efforts, Healford may still spreading evilness and cruelty in this world" I responded and then I clenched my fist.

"Just don't worry about it, Anna is a strong woman. I know it myself. Just take a rest for now. " She said. "I'll leave you this time. If you need anything, don't bother to call me okay? I just had to help some patients over there. Take a rest honey, I'll be right back" She then added and kissed my forehead before leaving.
