Rose's POV

Wailing noises filled the house, and mostly fake wailing. I stared at them all in disgust.

It was all pretense, they all wanted him dead. I'm sure one of them even killed him.

I was looking around in pain as my heart hurt.I noticed a smirk from Mark, my half brother.

I stood up from the position I was and rushed to him, grabbing his shirt, pushing him against the wall.

I am Rose, the only legitimate granddaughter of my grandfather.

My grandfather just died, so I'm devastated. My grandfather was the only I she had since my mother died. Now that he's dead, who would save me now!! I have to take care of myself. Thinking about that made me so nervous and scared.

I have to stay among snakes.

"You killed him right!" I yelled while grabbing the shirt of my half brother tightly. The grip was so hard that it nearly started choking him.

Mark then immediately shoved me to the floor and I fell to the floor.

"Stop it! Are you okay? Do you really want to get popular that badly?? What do you care? He's already old and bound to die anyway". Mark scoffed and smirked again. This made me scoff.

"He's a devil, they are all devils" I uttered slowly as she slowly got up from the floor on which she was, and she ran out fearfully.

A young man entered a flower shop.

"Welcome!" The shop attendant greeted him.

"Give me this "Liam uttered while pointing to a flower.

"Alright sir", the shop attendant answered, she grabbed the flower and packaged it for him, he paid, and collected the flower while walking out of the store.

"I'm sure, my Barbie would love this", Liam muttered and was walking happily, just then Rose, who was in a confused state, hit him on the shoulder and the flower fell from his hands.

"What are you doing?" Liam yelled as he picked up the flower, but Rose ignored him and walked past him, but Liam angrily grabbed Rose's hands.

"You just hit me, making my flower fall, and you can't even apologize. Liam blurted with his eyes shooting,

Rose stopped and in her imagination she saw him smirk too.

Rose hates it when people smirk.

Rose then suddenly slapped Liam.

"Stop smiling, you devil" Rose yelled and pushed Liam.

Liam was shocked at this gesture, because he expected an apology from her and not a push.

But as she took a step, she suddenly collapsed and Liam rushed to her.

"Please call an ambulance". Liam panicked on seeing her collapse.

"Where am I?" Rose wondered as her eyes were closed, but she could sense she wasn't home.

She opened her eyes, and she saw very huge eyes. Rose gasped and hit that person on the head with her head.

"Aaargggg" Liam groaned, touching his head.

"What are you!" Rose yelled as she saw a flower with him.

"Are you by chance one of my admires? For your information, you're not my type, your eyes, nose and lips are all ugly", Rose uttered, and Liam scoffed.

"Admirer! Lolzzzz, today is my 100th day with my girlfriend, and you ruined it" Liam uttered and gasped.

"Oh no! My Barbie would be mad at me, she'd have been waiting". Liam gasped and rushed out.

"Who is that fool? Why am I here?" Rose wondered.

Rose was still wondering in her head what had happened.

Her friend Mimi rushed towards her, sitting on the bed.

"Rose

Rose, I was Soo worried, how are you? Does your head hurt? What happened?" Mimi asked Rose.

"Have you settled the bill?" Rose asked and got up.

"Yes I have" Mimi replied and also got up.

"Then let's go,I'm alright, perfectly "Rose responded and walked out on Mimi.

"I'm worried about someone that isn't worried about themselves, poor me!" Mimi uttered and smirked.

"Wait up for me" Mimi shouted and ran after Rose.

Rose walked into the mansion and everyone was smiling again. She almost missed her steps.

Why would they be smiling when someone just died?? It doesn't make sense at all.

"What's wrong with me?" Rose wondered, as she didn't understand the new feeling.

Rose managed to sit, she sat, and then a man walked in. He walked to them.

"Hello, you all know me right" the man said.

"For those who don't know me, I'm Mr Sky. For those who don't know me", Mr. Sky uttered

"I'm here to read the will of late Mr. Banks , Mr Sky said, and opened a file.

" Two estates are to be given to my first grandson" Mr. Sky uttered and the murmuring started.

"Why only two estates, Mom", Mark murmured.

"Who would get the company then? Hope it's not that wrench", Mark murmured and sat up eager to hear the next one.

"This mansion should be given to my last granddaughter" Mr. Sky continued

"Mom, only this Mansion, really!" Cindy foamed angrily as she folded her hands.

"And for the company, it would be given to my daughter Rose, only if she gets married, and that's the end of the will" Mr. Sky uttered and Rose smiled.

"That will is fake ,you evil man, you corned us " Mrs Banks, Rose's stepmother yelled.

"You're smilling, you evil wrench" Mrs. Banks yelled and walked to Rose, but Rose got up.

"What do you want to do? I'm not that young fragile child you used to know anymore. If you don't all know your place,you'd be out of company in no time", Rose uttered and catwalked out of the Mansion

"That was close", Rose sighed as she got out of the Mansion.

"How was it?" Mimi came out of nowhere and Rose gasped.

"I'm excited, my grandpa actually left the company for me" Rose uttered and

"Yes, there is, I have to get married before I can get the company " Rose said and rolled her eyes.

"I'm not ready yet, and do you think any man can march this beauty" Rose scoffs and Mimi laughed.

"Come on girl, let's go get you a man" Mimi scoffed and pulled Rose.

Liam walked to the restaurant and rushed to Barbie.

"I'm sorry my Barbie", Liam pleaded and stretched out his hands, giving her the flowers, but Barbie stared at him angrily and threw the flowers angrily.

"We're done" Barbie yelled and walked out angrily, but Liam followed her from behind and grabbed her hands.

"Please" Liam pleaded, but she flinged his hands and walked away.

"Hey, buddy, what are you doing here?" A guy asked as he saw Liam.

"Hey, Josh" Liam said as he handshaked Josh.

"What is up man, why are you down?" Josh asked Liam.

"My baby and I just broke up" Liam said sadly.

"When there are a lot of babes out there, come let me take you to another world entirely" Josh said to Liam and pulled him.

Rose and Mimi entered a nightclub

"And is this where I'll find a man?" Rose shouted to Mimi as the background was loud with music.

"Yes,I bet you" Mimi shouted back.

Rose started having drinks and drinking so that she got drunk. Rose then climbed the stage and started dancing.

Liam entered the nightclub and was amazed. Suddenly he saw Rose.

"Ooh, isn't that the girl?" Liam uttered and continued watching her, but Rose walked to the stage and started dancing and Liam started laughing and he was also mesmerized.

"She's cute" Liam uttered, but immediately slapped his cheek.

"Cry, you just got heartbroken" Liam uttered to himself and suddenly started crying.

Rose came down from the stage and staggered to Mimi.

"That was great" Mimi said and smiled ,just then a guy walked to Rose

"Please can I have your number?" The guy asked and Rose stared at Mimi.

"OK" Rose uttered and typed in her number on the guy's phone.

"I'll call you" the guy uttered and left.

Rose's phone beeped, She just got a message

Rose checked

"Mark has set up a board meeting with the board of directors" the message reads.

"Mimi" Rose called to Mimi, but Mimi didn't hear she was talking to a guy, so Rose rushed out of the nightclub.

Rose rushed out and reporters had already gathered at the front of the nightclub, and taking a picture of her, Rose wanted to run away, but the lights kept getting closer, Liam out of the blue suddenly covered Rose's face, and Rose was shocked.

"Who is this guy?" Rose wondered under the influence of alcohol.

"Your grandfather just died, and you went clubbing" the reported question.

Liam immediately pulled Rose and they both ran to a corner. Rose then immediately removed the jacket used to cover her face.

This time Rose now already remembered who he was.

"Flower guy!

"You again, why do I keep running into you, are you by chance a stalker? Ooh! wow! Are you God sent too?.... Rose stammered and walked close to Liam, touching him.

"There's a commotion outside, the reporters are here!" Some people uttered and Mimi rushed out, and she gasped as she saw Rose and Liam kissing.

"This is amazing" Mimi uttered as she saw them together.

"My head hurts". I groaned and opened my eyes, and sat up on the bed, and I noticed that my body ached.I walked to the mirror and looked at my face. It was all red.I shouted and Mimi rushed over to the room.

"What happened?" Mimi, my friend asked.

"Look at my face? What happened?' I yelled angrily in a panicked state. This was the first time this had happened to me. I know I've had skin reactions in the past, but this is worse.

I moved from the mirror, touched my face, I got more scared.

"What is happening to me??

"Why do I have rashes on my face? What did I do yesterday?" I cried. I tried to remember what happened last night, but my head was blank, I just couldn't remember.

"My cream, my drugs". I panicked, rushed to my cupboard, grabbed my drugs, took two pills and took my drugs with a bottle of water beside my bed, and I calmed down. Mimi was just staring at me.

I looked around.

"I'm at Mimi's place. Why? What happened?" I wondered and walked to the living room, and tripped at a bottle and I fell to the floor. There I saw a guy sleeping on the couch.

"Oh my! What is he doing here? The admirer?" I wondered.

I just couldn't stop thinking that I must have done something last night, but what could it be? Why can't I remember? It's killing me that I can't remember.

"What is he doing here?" I asked Mimi while whispering, cause I didn't want him to wake.

"You don't remember?" Mimi asked with a straight face. Her face showed that she was stressed and angry.

But the guy got up and sat up.

"I think he's embarrassed" I uttered, and sat on the chair,

"Mimi, hit me on the head,I need to remember what I did", I ordered Mimi.

"I'm very sure, do it now!!" I ordered and Mimi released the anger she had, and she hit me hard on the head.

Instantly, I fell lying on the couch.

I just lay on the couch

It worked. The memories of last night flooded my memory.

"You're somehow cute though," I uttered and moved to the guy,

"Sir, take her to the car, and thank you" Mimi said, and the guy carried me and placed me in the car, but I pulled him over again and vomited on his clothes.

When we got to the house

"That's the toilet" Mimi said and pointed a room to him, and he walked to the room and tidied up.

He came out and was leaving again, but I grabbed him again.

"Let's play karaoke" I said, and sing all through

"That's not even a bigger problem now. The problem now is that people are asking and blogs are saying that he is your husband. What are you going to do about it now?" Mimi asked.

"What do I do?" I asked Mimi again. Mimi stared at me angrily .

" I would say marry him, make him marry you, even if it's a contract marriage, or do you want to lose the company? God has already provided a man for you, all you need to do now is to grab him and make him yours" Mimi uttered. And my eyes widened. I immediately got up, facing Mimi, forgetting the pain going on in my head.

"It's not that easy. What if he's married? Or what if he has a girlfriend?" I asked.

Liam's POV

I heard whispering, and it woke me up ,and I saw that I was actually sleeping in a stranger's house.

"Oh no! What am I doing here? I slept off, oh no!"I uttered as I immediately got up from the couch and stood up.

"Sorry for the inconvenience" I said and immediately rushed out.

I rushed out and stopped.

As I walked out I had a flashback of what happened last night.

"Would you marry me?" I remembered what the crazy girl said, and I shook my head.

"She's Soo crazy!" I scoffed and took a cab home.

I walked back home and saw a notice that I would leave the house.

I picked up the paper and tossed it in the waste bin.

Then the homeowner walked towards me angrily.

A car stopped in front of me and the same lady walked out and walked towards me.

The car drove and stopped in a quiet area.

I got scared. This was the first time I had seen something like this. What the heck!!

A lady rushed to us.

"Are you alright! " She asked her, and she saw him looking all serious.

I thought it was all a joke.

"I'm sorry, sir, whatever, but we'll have to leave you here. The lady said and pulled her into the car and the car drove off.

"You guys are leaving me here!" I panicked, looking around.

"Where the heck am I? They left me here!" I shouted as soon as I came to my senses.

I checked the file again, reading it well this time, and I gasped as my eyes caught the amount that I'd be paid monthly.

"What was that?" I panicked, and I looked and saw a boar coming my way, and I immediately rushed and ran away in fear.

I was panting heavily, and I rushed to my house. I got to my house and I saw that the house owner had thrown my property outside.

I knocked at the door of the new tenant.

"A lady came out.

"What are you? What do you want!" They yelled at me and I couldn't say anything else to them.

"Sorry for disturbing you guys. I pleaded with them and smiled. The lady that came out immediately banged the door against me.

"My life is doomed. I need to find her!

Rose's POV

I panicked as I had goosebumps,I immediately got scared and I screamed hard and Liam immediately let go of me.

"What's wrong?" Mimi panicked and came out from the car and rushed to Rose

"Oh my!" Mimi gasped

"Are you alright!" Mimi asked me and I was too shocked to speak

"What is this?" I shouted

"I'm sorry,but we'll leave you,Mr whatever" Mimi uttered and pulled me to the car and we zoomed off.

The car was driving

"You should have let me talk to him,you know I need him" I said

"Can't you see yourself? You're sick,you're getting worse,you need to see a doctor" Mimi uttered and drove to the hospital

I entered the doctor's office

"Hello, doctor,I need to do a check up" I uttered and a scan was done, I waited and I was called to the office again

"Mrs Rose,you're currently sick,you're getting worse day by day,I heard you lost your parents at a very young age and that you lost your grandfather lately,I think that's what triggered it,you have allergy to some kind of skin touch,that's men skin touch,I'm sorry to say" the doctor uttered and I was shocked

"What! So you mean to say that I'm allergic to guys" I scoofs

"That's absurd,I don't believe this,so can this be treated,I won't die right!" I asked the doctor

"If it gets triggered it might lead to.... The doctor was saying

"Stop,I don't want to hear it! Doctor I'll give you whatever you need,just help me,help me get well,please" I said while maintaining a straight face like I wasn't affected

"I'll give you some medicine,you'd take it,before it was panic disorder,but it upgraded,and it's in bad shape,you might start feeling some things ,get ready!" The doctor uttered and I found my self and hand shaking

"I would start feeling some things like?" I asked

"Eccesive fear, forgetfulness and so on" the doctor uttered and my chest started beating fast

"I can't die yet!" I mumbled

I walked out of the doctor's office and Mimi rushed to me

"What did the doctor say?" Mimi asked but I pulled her close and hugged her,I tried to hold back the tears but I couldn't,tears started coming out of my eyes

"I don't want to die!" I cried.

Suddenly my phone beeped a message entered I withdrew from Mimi and checked

"Mr Mark has found favor and some of the board members and they're trying to dethrone you, come over quickly " the message reads .

"Mimi,I'm heading to the office" I utters and was leaving but Mimi pulled me back

"Are you going in this way? What if?" Mimi uttered

"Don't worry,I'd be fine" I uttered and walked to the car and Mimi also entered driving me to the office

I walked into the company and every staff bowed and greeted me

"I am really the sole owner" I mumbled and smilled.

"Organize a board meeting " I told my secretary and sat on my chair

"Very soon,I'll be CEO Rose " I said and smiled .

"Ma'am,the meeting is scheduled in 10 minutes time" Tina my secretary said

My phone vibrated on the table and I picked it,an unknown number was calling me ,I accepted and placed the phone on my ear

"One minute" I said and got back to the call.

"I'm at the company,I'm busy right now,later" I uttered and ended the call,I stood up arranged my hair,and looked at my face,it was all clear,I breathe in and out and walked to the conference room, I entered and saw the glare of all the board members,they were looking like they are ready to roast me

"You can do this!" I uttered and walked to the empty seat,the former seat of my grandfather and I sat

"Hello , everyone ,as you all know,I am the rightful owner of L&J limited company now" I uttered and expected a clap,but they all ignored and stared at me ,just then Mark walked in and I gasped

"What is he planning to do?" I mumbled

"Hello, everyone,I have more shares than you remember,since you're not yet married,you can't get Grandpa shares, don't you remember,I really thought you were smart" Mark scoffs and this got me angry

But then I remembered that angry reaction can trigger my health,so l tried to calm down

"Miss rose hasn't gotten the shares yet,we can't go for her" some board of directors whispered to themselves but it reached my ear

"Everyone,rise your hand if you're in support of me,and raise your hands of you're in support of this incompetent fellow" Mark uttered and I scoffs

"He just called me incompetent " I got angry and grabbed a pen stood up and was walking towards him ,but the door opened and it was that guy,what was his name again, oh! Liam, I immediately hid the pen and dropped it on the floor.

" Rose, I've missed you,and I want to get married to you, Rose please marry me" Liam uttered and rushed towards me to hug me

"I can't let him hug me" I mumbled and fell to the floor,all the board of directors gasped

"What is she doing?" The whispered amongst themselves and I was ashamed,but Liam wasn't stopping

"Look at your new CEO,so incompetent" mark said and scoofs,this got me angry,I immediately grabbed the pen and pierced mark on the leg,he shouts and fell to the ground,and the board of directors gasped,and Liam too was shocked

"You devil" Mark said and groaned in pain

"Don't you dare come closer to me!" I whispered to Liam and got up and he nodded frightfully

"As you all can see,I have a partner and this is him,I'll get my shared soon,so do you all accept me as your new head and CEO?" I asked and they all responded with a clap and this got me excited.

Mark's POV

I got embarrassed as all the board of directors clapped for Rose,I rushed out in anger

"I will make you pay for humiliating me,you'll see" I utters angrilly

"Come over" I called one of my man and he came close and I whispered something into his ear.

"Alright sir" he replied and left

"Rose,get ready" I scoffs and laughed

"I will get the company,it's mine,L&J will be mine" I uttered.

Liam's POV

Liam immediately checked the file he collected from her and he dialed her number.

"Oh,she picked " I said happily

"Hello,this is Liam,the guy emmmm" I uttered

"The company? Alright" I said

"Take me to L&J company " I said to the driver and he drove to the company

He stopped

"How much is the money?" I asked

"200 dollars" he replied and I gasped

I had only like 50 dollars with me

"Oh no! What do I do now?" I panicked

Just then I saw the other girl that followed the rose girl, I rushed out

"Where are you going to? Pay me my money" the driver panicked and followed me

"Yes,please do you have 200 dollars,I need to lay the driver" I said and she was shocked

"No, keep the change " she said and it strucked me badly

"Brokenness is bad" I mumbled

"You're here to see Rose right,take this " Mimi said and handed over a company card to me,I collected and thanked her

I walked to the conference room and saw Rose under attack,I had to save her

"Rose, I've missed you,and I want to get married to you, Rose please marry me" I uttered and rushed towards her to hug her but I was shocked at her reaction,she fell to the ground
