Lycan's Destined Mate

I sighed as I'm staring at the sleeping face of a woman sleeping beside me. I don't know how many times it is that I tried to mate with all the beautiful lycans I know, but I still not satisfied. Furthermore, I also hate their pheromones that stuck to my nose every time we are making out.

I stood up and wear my things. I hurriedly get out of the room while the woman I forget the name is still sleeping.

Her pheromones are like piercing the deep skin of my nose that also gives me headaches, and it smells terrible. I get out the room as fast as I can and get my phone inside my pocket.

I dialed my friend's name, Nico, while walking to the pathway of the guest house. I want to get out as fast I can, but I can't. My headache is getting worse every time passed by.

After the three rang, my friend finally answered.

"Hello, bro? What's up!"

"You need to help me now. I think I'm getting a headache again." I uttered while massaging my head as I already walked outside the guest house.

"What? What did you do this time? Wait a minute. There's a lot of patience that I need to assist right now."

I look around to see if there's anyone who can help me on this forest, but my luck is still not visible to me. I can't even find a human here. Tsk!

"Hurry! I think I'm going to be passed out if you didn't arrive on time. I swear, I will not be going to help you again by getting bloods if you didn't come now." I saw a big rock beside the tall tree, so I decided to sit there while waiting for Nico to arrive.

I didn't wait for his reply, and I decided to end the call. He can't do anything anyway besides following my command to him.

I took a deep breath in and out until my heartbeat becomes normal again. I really need to find my mate as much as possible. I am a dominant alpha and there's no lycan omega here that can match mine. As a result, I'm having a hard time every day, especially when my rut was come.

I'm getting a headache every day and lately, the headache is getting more and more hard for me to resist. If only, I can find my destined mate fast like my vampire friend, Nico. My life will be much easier.

Yes. Nico is a vampire. We know that our ancestors are not friendly to each other. However, we manage to become friends anyway. I think it started when I help Nico to get his food, fresh blood.

In less than 15 minutes, Nico finally standing in front of me. He doesn't have a sweat nor a heavy breathing, but I'm certain that he really go here immediately since the buttons on his shirt at are not arranged properly.

I sighed when I saw his glared and wig my head.

"I know, I know. Plan failed again. The woman is not my destined mate, so I just left her inside the guest house. I would rather not associate with her any longer. I don't like her smell." I giggled.

"Alright. Let's go to my place. I have a few proposals for you to resolve your problem."

My eyes widened when I heard his words. However, it didn't last because I remember that this is the 20th times that he suggested a proposal and all of it was failed. Tsk.

I just shrugged my shoulder and nodded my head. "Fine. I hope you're not just wasting my time now."

He chuckled and patted my shoulder. "Don't worry, bro. This time, it's different."

I will be a liar if I said that he didn't get my curiosity because of what he said, so I choose to stay quiet until we finally arrive to his place.

He brings me to his private room. As usual, this is the only place where we can talk privately. No one should know my problem because we both know that it will create a giant problem in my world.

The elders should definitely don't have to know my problem.

"Alright. Now that you are in good and relax position, I will start my proposal."

My eyebrows met in annoyance when I saw his big, wide smile. I know he is odorless, but I absolutely smell something bad about to what he is going to say.

"Start. I'm all ears."

"You still didn't find your destined mate, right?"

I immediately nodded as a response to him, so he can continue his words again.

"Great! You heard about some lycans and other creatures that still hiding to human world? Clayton, listen carefully. I heard to one of my patient that the powerful lycan omega is living to human world. Don't you think you're in a mood right now to travel?"

I glared to his direction to know if he's being serious when I finally realized of what he's trying to say the entire time.

"You just want me to get you more blood from human world."

I pick up the pen on his table and landed it to his shoulder. It did touch him. However, he didn't produce any blood. He just casually removed it and smile at me.

"No, bro. I'm telling the truth. It's fine if you don't believe me, but don't you think it's time for you to search in other places now? You still didn't find your destined mate here. Maybe, she's living in human world."

I deeply sighed and look away. " I guess I don't have a choice, but to bite your suggestions again. Give me some medicine for my headache and I will do your instructions wholeheartedly."

He suddenly stood up and gives me thumps up. I just stare at him back with my poker face. Here he goes again.

I hope I made the right choice. I hope my destined mate is really in the human world.

I looked around to carefully scanning the unfamiliar places and things around me. There are a lot of human beings, and I'm already feeling nervous for goodness' sake!

I did follow his suggestion, but I don't know where or how should I start looking for my destined mate.

Human smell is odorless when it comes to lycanthrope's nose. We don't smell any pheromones around them. However, they are using perfumes that they made, and it makes us harder to distinguish if they are real human beings or just disguising.

Thankfully, I'm a dominant alpha, so I have a strong sense of smell. But, I still think that I will have a hard time finding my mate. It's so crowded here!

I sighed and looked around again. As for now, I can finally smell some pheromones, but it's not coming from a female lycan. It's coming from a male and it's so disgusting. Tsk.

However, I still walked to their direction, hoping that they know some information about the destined mate I've been looking for.

I saw two men talking to each other while eating unfamiliar food that stuck to a stick. It's weird to saw some lycans wandering around on human world while disguising themselves as a human being, but whatever their reasons are or whatever smells they have, I still need to approach them hoping that they can help me.

"Hey," I whispered.

They still manage to hear me because I'm already standing in front of them. I just don't want to talk louder since I am trying to ask about lycans, and I'm in a human world.

Common sense, indeed.

Their eyebrows went up when our eyes met. They look at me and gives me a peculiar look to their face.

Oh. I think they thought I am acting arrogant right now because of my tone. I sighed in disbelief.

"I'm sorry, but you are a lycan. Am I right?"

They slowly nodded their head. In my perspective, they are still young compared to me who already lives a hundred years. Although, lycans still can't compete with the age of vampires.

Anyway, they both looked like stunned when I mention lycans. To start my real conversation with them, I let my pheromones release so that they can easily know who are they speaking with right now.

"I want to ask a question and I want you to answer me immediately, 'cause I'm not in a good mood today. Do you know if there is a female lycan here in human world?"

They both stunned because of what I did. That's why they have a hard time to answer my question immediately. It's okay if they didn't answer me immediately as long as they know the answer to my question.

"There is a lot of female lycan here, but I don't know if they are the one you are looking for."

I smiled when I heard his answer. I walked beside him and patted him to his shoulder. Thereafter, I whispered in his ears.

"Thanks a lot. I see that you still care for your pack."

Subsequently, I didn't wait for his reply and left them alone since I already received their answer.

I whistle as I walked and looking around to find some female lycan that I can see. Now I'm in a better mood. My effort is not going into waste anymore.

However, while walking, I suddenly smelled a good fragrance of flower that I haven't smelled before. I looked around to know where it is coming from, but I can't tell which place it is. There are a lot of human beings gathering where I am standing, and I don't know the reasons why.

Maybe, this is what do they call, park, just like what Nico said to me before. Tss. Is there something wrong that there are shouting right now? Almost as if they didn't hear each other.

To my annoyance, I just shrugged my shoulder and walked away from a crowd. I follow some human beings entering the bar. My eyes widened because of what I see.

If I remember it correctly, this is where I can find a lot of females who wants to mate just like what Nico advise me to go.

My eyes widened as I walked inside the bar. In front of its door, there is a big signboard that has little lights on its side. I didn't hesitate to go inside when I saw a group of human beings approaching my direction.

When I already step foot inside the bar, I smelled numerous pheromones from different lycans. I scratch my nose as I feel the headaches eating my head again. When I saw an empty chair and table, I didn't hesitate to walked on that direction.

I am holding my head while walking because it still hurts. When I sat down, it's too late when I realized that there is a female human being sitting in front of me.

I didn't mind her, since I also don't care about her. I just need a female lycan to be my mate right now so my headache goes away if ever.

Furthermore, I looked around, but my head stop to the female sitting in front of me when I saw her looking at my direction with her expressionless eyes.

My eyebrows met in annoyance because of the way she looks at me. I have a higher position in our world, and she has a nerve to look at me that way?

I gave a smirked when I suddenly remember something. Now that I remember again. Nico reminds me to give him a blood that taste exquisite. I wonder if her blood is good, just like what Nico said.

Anyway, it's better to bring blood than ever. I don't know if Nico will still help me if I didn't follow his one request.

I stand up and walked in front of the female human beings while our eyes still locked on each other.

Moreover, maybe, human is great in mating too.

I touched the glass of wine that sitting in front of my desk and circling it with my hands while still looking at the woman sitting in front of me.

"Why are you staring at me?" I heard the madness in her tone.

I guess she's not in a good mood today. No problem! It will be good after she gets to know who she's talking to right now.

"It's because I'm captivated with your beauty."

I waited for a minute for her reply. In my world, when the female lycans heard those words, they are already dying in happiness. They are just waiting for my direct confession and they hurriedly and willingly to mate with as fast as possible.

However, I have waited for a long minute, but I can't still a reply from her. She's just glared at me like I'm saying something not cool.

I take a deep sighed to release my anger. She's getting on my nerve! If only, she's not useful to me. Tss.

"You are stating the old lines, mister."

My eyebrows met in annoyance when I heard her reply. Really? She makes me wait for her reply just to tell me about that?

I shrugged my head to maintain my composure again.

"But, stating the old lines with sincere feelings are different cases. I'm telling you this because I want to your identity and get a long with you. I'm sure we will be a perfect match. Having a beautiful face is enough for the handsome face like me." I winked and drink the glass of wine that I'm still holding until now.

I suddenly feel nausea after I drank the last sip of wine.

What happened? Why do I feel like my head is spinning?

I stood up and haven't noticed that I swayed in front of the female human being in front of me.

"What? Are you drunk already?"

I saw the female human being stood up and lean on me. She stared too close to my face while crossing her arm.

I suddenly feel my lycan forms slowly appearing on my arms. Before she could see it, I hid my right arm at my back.

Her eyebrows me with confusion like the other human beings whispering right now while looking to our direction.

She looked at me from head to toe, but I didn't mind her stares. I need to get out of here as fast as I can.

Tsk! I forget that it's forbidden for me to drink a strong wine because I get easily drank and whenever it's happened, I can't control my form.

I suddenly felt the dizziness again, so I touched my head using my right arm unconsciously. The female human being saw it and her eyes widened in her surprise.

Uh-oh. Maybe, I am really unlucky today.

I look around to see if the other human beings saw my arms too, but the female human beings did the same. After she looked around, she gazed to my direction again.

She removes her jacket and put it to me. I am too stunned to move her arms around me. I can't even comment to her actions. Thereafter, she grab my hand and force me to step outside the bar with her.

When we're already outside the bar, that's when I realized what just happened, even though I still feel the dizziness.

"What are you doing? I mean, are we going to mate now?" I smirked while brushing my hair using my left arm.

She didn't answer me. Instead, she looked from left and right. Then, we walked again. I just let her do what she wants since I need her blood even if she's a useless human being. I need to go with the flow with her, so I can get her easily later.

I don't have an ability to know what someone's mind like my vampire friend's have, but I think I don't need to know what's up with her mind if she's already willing to go with me.

"Where are we going, sweetie?" I asked her while looking at her brown curly hair.

She is walking in front of me while she's still holding my right hand. I smiled when I suddenly smelled something to her.

It's so sweet, and it makes my mind clear. My headaches disappearing slowly like it was never happened. Like I never felt that way.

After a while, she stops walking, so I stop walking too. I don't know what she's doing since I can't see her face, but after a minute, she is suddenly walking again.

My eyebrows met with confusion. The smell I smelled before suddenly disappearing from my nose and my headaches suddenly appearing again.

My head is becoming more and more heavy every minute and even if we are walking on the road, I was unable to contain myself to hold her shoulder using my left shoulder to bring her attention to me.

She looked at me with confusion, but it disappears when she saw my expression on my face.

"It hurts. Please, release it again."

Her eyes widened when I said those words. I don't even know why I said those words.

What kind of thing I am talking to her? Do I consider her to be a lycan being a minute ago?

I shrugged my head while holding it using my left arm. Maybe, I'm just really confuse right now. That wine is the problem! Tsk.

I looked at her again when I heard her heavy sighed.

"We need to get out of here before you change into something supernatural."

I now looked at her with a startled expression on my face. Did she know something?

I guess. . . She really knows something.

I nod at her as my answer to her words. I can't kill someone right now because we are still on the road. For now, I need to follow her around to see if she really knows something and if she really is something different.

I hope I'm just imagining things again.
