Lust Royal

Author: : Michelle Manisha
Genre: Romance
26-years-old Stacy Cyrus is living her life in a very normal way: working in a small newspaper company as an editor, feeding her stray cat occasionally, indulging herself in reading books and going to the nearest cafe for her favorite strawberry cakes. Until one day her roommate, Mikaela pleads with her to help in her job in a royal suite. All she needs to do is wear a good dress, put on some make up and wait until Mikaela comes. But what she didn't sign up for is an handsome, tall man to appear in the room with a stone-cold face demanding her to strip.

Chapter 1 Normal Life to wish for

Brown exhausted eyes went to the vintage old clock of the large hall which told it was past five in the evening. Time to go home.

Stacy's fingers took speed, eyes moving on the paper as she edited the last sample of the news which would be the next day's headline of a local newspaper, 'Cityscape'.

'Unknown Murders in The City' was the headline that her fifty-seven years old employer, Mr Wallace suggested. The old man had some weird headings but people wouldn't care as long as they got some topics to hold a conversation about.

"Miss Cyrus, is the news ready?" A man came in a hurry, his voice breathless as he had been running round and round in the whole old two-story building. He was the run-dog of the office, Jacob. A new trainee under them. She almost fell bad for him as everyone was taking advantage of him.

"Yes, almost." Stacy said, reading one last time if she had missed something. The small company was always late when it came to collecting mind-blogging news because the three-four journalists they had were lazy and they always complained about the petrol fees. Although Stacy couldn't argue, her employer was stingy as hell.

But the new journalist they had hired was really good. Joana Steve. She would sneak into anywhere and grab the great news which was why the whole building was now flooding with work. Everyone was excited including Stacy.

In two years of working in the company, it was the first time she got overwhelmed by work and she enjoyed it.

Stacy let out a sigh of relief as she handed the papers to the man and gave him a small nod. "There you go."

"Thank you, Miss Cyrus." The man returned the gesture and went away immediately. Now it was time to go home.

She got up from her chair that had served two generations since the day it had arrived and now to the third generation. The office needed a renovation but they hardly had money. And more importantly the owner was stingy.

She took her sling bag and said to her colleagues a bunch of 'byes', she left the building to her favorite cafe.

She bought a packet of cookies along with her favorite strawberry muffins. She wanted to spend her free time in the cafe for a while but she wanted to go home. She hadn't slept last night because of the new romance book she had bought and she wanted to know the last conclusion of the story badly.

As she reached home, she saw the apartment door was locked. Her roommate, Mikaela must be working late today as well.

She sighed and brought out her keys. Lately Mikaela had been very busy and she could hardly see her now. For the past one month, Mikaela had been doing night shifts and when Stacy woke up, she would find her in her bed still sleeping. No clue when she would come.

She opened the door and put her bag and the packets as she went for the bathroom.

A hot shower would be nice to throw away the exhaustion.

A slow and peaceful life that she had always dreamt of. Waking up, jogging, going to the office, reading books, cooking and then sleeping were all she had been doing for the past two years and she enjoyed each moment but sometimes, she felt a little lonely.

She was twenty six yet she had no boyfriend nor had she gone on any date. Her life never let her indulge into those sorts of things.

Stacy couldn't remember her parents and when she reached the age when any child could remember, she saw her aunt. That lady was too old to be called aunt.

But after she died, she got two foster families and the memories weren't good at all. All she could remember was quarrels, poor behavior and negligence. When she turned eighteen, she entered into a girl's dorms and worked in a small mart to keep going. She couldn't go to renowned colleges so she had to study hard to get a scholarship for a cheap college.

All these years she had to sacrifice and compromise but it was all worth the peaceful life she had now.

As she came out of the bathroom, she found Mikaela leaning against the couch, tiredness sipping out of her. Dark bags concealed with concealer under her eyes said she had been working tirelessly.

"You got home early today..." Stacy said as she brought out the strawberry muffins and gave her one taking a seat beside her.

Mikaela took it lazily and said, "I am tired and I got a really good deal for tomorrow."

Stacy nodded. "What deal?"

"Um... Well, if I managed to crack the deal, I would be getting ten-thousand bucks." She said as Stacy's eyes went round.

"That's wonderful!" Stacy exclaimed and asked, "But would the company pay that much? I've never heard any company giving that much for a single deal..."

Mikaela nodded. "They are just very impressed by me so..."

Stacy nodded and said, "Then we should celebrate it tonight, shouldn't we?"

Mikaela let out a dry smile. "I am feeling sleepy. I am sorry."

Stacy chuckled and patted on her head saying, "Alright. Take enough rest."

Then her eyes fell on Mikaela's left arm. It had a bruise and now it was purple. Worry came crashing on Stacy as what could have made her arm so bruised. She wanted to ask her but Mikaela slept immediately after eating the muffin.

Stacy woke up early and saw the black stray cat, Mimi had arrived on her bed. She smiled at Mimi as she meowed as if giving her a greeting. She gave her food and went to jog. When she came back she saw Mikaela was still sleeping.

She made breakfast and called Mikaela, "You want some breakfast?"

"No. I am very sleepy." Came in a hoarse yet in a weak voice.

Stacy went to her and saw, Mikaela wasn't looking well. Her face looked dull even though she had a really pretty face. Her auburn hair looked like a nest and she felt drained.

She touched her forehead and it was burning. "You got a fever."

"It will go away if I take enough rest." Mikaela mumbled which didn't assure Stacy.

"But don't you have the deal today?" Stacy asked, a little worried.

"I will go there. Don't worry." She said and went back to sleep. Stacy looked at her for a moment and left some paracetamol on her desk hoping she would take it once she woke up.

Before leaving for her office, Stacy said to Mikaela, "I have left some food in the freezer. Be sure to take it and take the medicines."

Mikaela mumbled something but Stacy couldn't hear it as she left.

Chapter 2 A Fair Trouble

The news from the previous day turned out to be great as their employer, Mr Wallace had a large smile on his face.

"Great work. All of you did such an amazing job." He praised as he came out of his office chamber and all of the workers cheered as it brought the company into a light.

"A big round of applause for Miss Joana Steve. She has brought us amazing stories to offer." He said to the brown skinned lady beside him as she grinned and everyone applauded.

She was young but her effort for getting the news was outstanding. She was tasked to get more information on the case as cops and investigators were involved. She somehow managed to interview them and got all the juicy information.

A pile of papers came to Stacy's tables as she started to work and heard some of her colleagues talking about the case.

"I think it has something to do with Sebastian Rodriguez," said a woman from another desk. Her name was Lily and she would always see everyone suspicious.

"Why do you think so?" asked another one of her colleagues, Brooks who sat just behind Stacy.

"C'mon, everyone is talking about that business mogul. The dead bodies were all from his rival company. And you could see his deadly expression when his competitor had challenged him," said Lily.

"But his rival, Mr Benson said they weren't his employees; besides, Sebastian has no dark marks in his career, in his life, in his character." Brook was also involved with covering all the details along with Joana so he had everything prepared.

"Exactly. He is just too clean to be true. He never comes for any interviews, we could hardly see his face just one time we could photograph him when Mr Benson of Benson group had a complaint against him. And there is just no controversy about him. No girlfriends, no family issues. Like nothing."

"You can't complain if he is just too clean for his royal background." Brook scoffed.

"Boo! You guys are just too swoon about his Royal-ness. I bet 100$ he is not clean like he portrays he is." Lily challenged as Brook laughed.

"Fine. You owe me 100$ once Joana collects all the information."

Stacy had been only a listener because she had no clue who Sebastian Rodriguez was and who Mr Benson was. She could bet she had heard their names just a minute ago from her colleagues who were arguing over the murder case. She didn't know much about the case but people were saying the underworld had something to do with it because the dead men had been arrested before for drug dealings and some illegal activities.

Nonetheless, Stacy wasn't interested in those things since she loved her life the way it was now. She released a breath and started to edit the papers one by one while her colleagues still argued on other subjects.

She had finished her work and now she got ready to go home when the clock said it was five already. Today she didn't have much work but Joana came at the last moment to change the news as she got a good clue from the cops.

Stacy had to modify the news two times so it could get the front page and people would not leave without buying the paper.

She left the office and she recalled Mikaela was still sick so she didn't head for the cafe instead went straight home.

As she reached she saw Mikaela was ready and she had worn a sexy dress but she was rummaging through her desk and cupboard.

"Are you searching for something?" Stacy asked.

"Yes. I need the damn recorder and I think I might have forgotten my laptop in my office because I can't find any of those."

"Recorder?"

"Yeah. I think," she turned around and thought for a moment, "I think I had left it in my office."

She sat on the bed palming her face. Although the make up had done a great job, she still looked weak.

"When do you have this meeting?" Stacy asked as she put down her bag and pulled off her coat.

"Around 8 but I need to go back to my office," she answered.

Stacy nodded and said, "It's not that late."

"Yes but I barely feel any energy in my body."

Stacy chuckled and agreed as Mikaela stood up.

"Thanks for the food and the medicine. I feel much better." Mikaela said as she put on a long coat and added, "I am leaving now. I might not come tonight."

Stacy nodded as Mikaela left and she went to have a shower.

Stacy was reading her book when her phone rang. She saw it was Mikaela. She picked it up. "Hey."

"Stacy, I know it is your resting time but can you please help me? It's urgent!" Mikaela's voice was breathless as if she was running a marathon.

"Okay. What is it?"

"I forgot the pass in my drawer and it might take me some time to go and get it. Can you come to the royal suite, Court Royal?"

"Okay. But it is far from here." Stacy said as the hotel was one hour away if she took public transport.

"Take a cab." Mikaela suggested.

"Okay."

Stacy opened the drawer and saw a paper where information of the booking was. It must be the pass she was talking about. It was indeed there along with her ID card. How could she forget that?!

Stacy was about to wear her jeans when her phone rang again.

As she picked up, Mikaela said in a pleading voice before Stacy could even say hello, "I am so sorry but can you please go into the suite and meet the client? All you just have to do is wait for me."

"What?!" Stacy's eyes bulged out from her sockets. "Meeting your office clients? Are you serious? You know it will put your work in danger."

"I know. Just tell them that you are my assistance. I really need to crack this deal. Please?"

Stacy thought for a moment. She had never done any kind of interactions that would impress a client and it must be a really important client since her office had agreed to give her ten thousand bucks. Suddenly, Stacy felt really scared. What if she messed everything and Mikaela ended up losing her job?

She knew Mikaela for two years and they took the small apartment together, sharing the rent. Both of them were struggling in the beginning and Mikaela had changed two work since then. This was a multinational company she got and it paid her well. Although they made work her like a slave but she said she would endure anything for the sake of her career.

And for the past eight months, she had been working tirelessly and was making more money than Stacy.

Stacy was happy for her but she would always worry for Mikaela's health since Mikaela was the only friend she had. She was more or less like a sister.

"Stacy? Please? I would forever be at your mercy." She joked as Stacy giggled.

"Okay. You owe me dinner in a five star restaurant."

"Anything you wish! Just wear your best outfit and do a good make up. Don't forget to take your ID." Mikaela said and she nodded.

"Okay. But what's the number of the room?"

"607."

Stacy cut the phone as she dashed to the bathroom and did her make up. She was never fond of putting on too much makeup but as she remembered Mikaela's make up, she tried to imitate it.

She came out and wore a maroon-red dress. It wasn't overly formal and it wasn't too revealing. Just a decent one. She wore a coat over the dress matching it and let her brown hair loose on her shoulders.

She had natural wavy hair and it suited her outfit perfectly. She took a purse and put all of the documents inside, careful not to forget anything.

She looked at the watch and she barely had time as she needed to reach at 8. Without wasting time, she put on her pump heels and locked the door. She left the apartment in a hurry.

She called Mikaela. On the third ring, her friend picked it up. Some noise came through the phone along with the noise of horns.

"Hey, Mikaela. What would I say when I reach?" Stacy asked as she waved for a taxi.

"Just tell them to wait and order some dinner. I am on my way. You are my assistance and you will start discussing the project. I am sending you the first two pages, just read it and tell them. Alright?" She tried to give her assurance but Stacy's heart started to beat loudly.

"What if I mess up?" Stacy said, panicking. She felt her hands frozen because cracking a deal wasn't her forte. She would just sit before the computer and do her task. That's what she had done ever since she had started to work. No conversations, no interacting and certainly no selling any products.

"Don't worry. I will handle it once I reach the hotel. But this damn traffic!" She huffed frustratedly.

"Okay. I got a cab." Stacy said as a cab finally stopped and she got into it.

She gave the driver the address and Mikaela said, "Don't worry. You can nail it."

"I could only hope."

"Alright. I'll see you there." Mikaela said before cutting the phone and Stacy felt nervousness crawling on her skin. She just hoped that Mikaela somehow reached there.

Chapter 3 A Greek God in a Suit

Stacy finally reached the destination. She paid the cab and as soon as she turned around, her breath hitched. The royal hotel certainly lived up to its name.

The hotel reached the sky as its glass windows glittered in the moonlight. Inside of the hotel lit with golden lights giving it a royal vibe. There was tight security and she saw many armed men standing surrounding the building. She had never been to any royal suits before.

But it seemed very unusual to have this many armed men.

She went toward its entrance as two men in black attire, weapons attached to their hands came near. She stepped back instinctively as one of them asked, "Can you show us your ID, ma'am?"

She nodded as she took out her ID and gave it to the tall man. The men gave it back after scrutinizing it as he nodded. to her companion He smiled which never reached his eyes as he said, "We apologize for interrupting you. Our boss is coming, thus we are making sure there is no threat."

Stacy nodded as her heart was pumping loudly. Something about these men made her really cautious. They felt like they wouldn't care before killing someone and they had no emotions on their faces as their trained eyes looked at every pedestrian and every corner, missing nothing.

Whoever was their boss must be some wealthy and dangerous man to appoint them.

They were trained no doubt and Stacy felt her confidence draining more as she took each step toward the reception desk.

"How may I help you, ma'am?" One of the receptionists asked with a smile, her beautiful face shone in the golden light. From tip to toe, she looked just perfect and more presentable than her. For a moment, Stacy thought she should have worn some more make up and now she knew why Mikaela had worn a gorgeous dress and did that much makeup.

"Um... I... My boss said to wait in the room no. 706. A few clients will be coming and I was told to be there by 8." Stacy said as her heart thumped and she fisted her palms against the coat.

The girl nodded and asked, "Do you have any names who will be coming?"

"Yes but the room is booked by my boss, Miss Mikaela Tylor. She gave me a paper... I mean, a pass and she would be coming to join us later."

Stacy took out the paper which they called a pass and handed it to the lady as she nodded. "Yes, we received the booking five days ago. Thank you for coming Miss?" She asked, hanging her sentence in the air.

"Miss Stacy Cyrus..."

"Yes. Can you please provide us with some ID proof or DL?" She asked as Stacy took out her ID and they scanned it in the computer before giving it back.

"Please take the lift and the room is on the seventh floor." She said as she gave her a small white card and Stacy left the reception table. She went for the lift, her body tingling nervously.

With her, another two people entered and they left as their floors came. The lift halted at the seventh floor and Stacy came out. There were a series of rooms starting on both sides of the lift.

She took the right side and looked out for the room number. 706. Or wait, was it 706 or 607?

Stacy halted. She forgot to check it in the pass. Mikaela said 706, right? She couldn't remember and it seemed the receptionist gave her the card of 706.

If the receptionist gave her the keys of 706, it meant she checked the papers. Without wasting another moment, and not giving it another thought, Stacy searched for room no 706.

As she found the room, she swiped the white card and the doors opened. She entered and saw there was no electricity and saw there was a holder beside the door which looked like the card's size. She put it on the holder and the room lit with light.

A smile spread across her lips because it was the first time she entered a royal suite.

The room suddenly looked royal. White paint with designer carvings on the corners of the walls. The bedroom was detached from the drawing room and there was an open kitchen. The whole room had golden lights and the couches looked classic with the maroon color. It was very beautiful.

She took a seat on one of the couches and waited as her heels tapped on the floor, making sounds. She hoped the clients would come after Mikaela arrived. But there was no sign of both Mikaela and her client.

She was losing patience as she brought out her phone to dial Mikaela's number and suddenly she heard the door opening.

She quickly put the phone on the table and stood up to greet the client.

The door opened and a man in a tuxedo appeared and it was a damn expensive suit. It adorned him perfectly as if it was tailor made. Both of their eyes met and she almost felt her heart skip a beat.

He looked like a Greek god in a suit. Gray dazzling eyes which portrayed shock and suspicion together, high cheekbones to die for, dirty blonde hair on the perfect sculptured face which had a frown and his tall daunting frame which made Stacy gulp as she felt her throat dried in his presence.

"How did you enter?" He asked, his voice was husky yet it had a strange domineering vibe which made Stacy's mind go numb.

"T-through the door?" She said.

He arched his brow as she corrected, "I-I had the key." Her eyes went to the card holder and the man's eyes followed it.

"That I can see..." He asked, "When did you arrive?"

"Ten minutes ago?"

He nodded as he closed the door behind him and Stacy thought why did he lock it?

"Um... M-my bo-" she wanted to tell that her boss would be coming in a moment but he cut her off as he said, "I have to say, I am not really impressed."

His displeased eyes moved tip to toe on Stacy making her feel as if she wasn't wearing anything. She was about to hide herself with her arms but he said, "I thought they would give me the best one."

He put his hands in his trousers' pockets and leaned on the wall just beside the door. She couldn't deny he looked hot as hell but currently her mind and feet froze. What did he mean? She didn't even start to say anything about the project. How could he judge her without giving her a chance?

"I think they are mocking me by giving a simple looking one." He said and Stacy couldn't understand a thing he was saying.

"I-I am really sorry about your displeasure. But let me at least do my part. I am sure you wouldn't be displeased." Stacy said as her blood pumped out of fear that Mikaela might lose this deal because of her.

The man looked at her for a moment with a straight face as if he was giving it a thought. He nodded. "Alright. Be sure to do your best otherwise I won't pay a single cent to your boss."

Stacy nodded and suddenly her phone rang. She was about to grab it when the man said, "I think I told your master, phones and any electronic gadgets are not allowed."

Stacy looked at him with wide eyes. Why? Weren't they going to need a laptop or something to discuss their project? He was certainly an odd client.

She felt confused as the man neared and she felt her body wouldn't move from her place. His presence was just too overwhelming and as he neared her, she found he was taller than her by a foot. It was hard to resist his intimidating cold eyes. He stood just a meter away from her as his musky scent lingered around her and she bit her lip.

The man bent forward as Stacy stepped back, her heart thumping loudly but he took the phone from the table and without a single thought he broke it.

It took a minute to register what happened and she did, a gasp escaped from the back of her throat. "Wha- My 300$ phone!"
