Luna's Vengeance

"What?!" A guy with black hair and greyish eyes said.

"Your father have spoken, Kira will have to rule because she has proven herself worthy of the position and the power to rule this pack" A woman in her sixties with black hair but strands of grey hair and her deep blue eyes said.

Kira couldn't look at her brother because she knows the peak of his anger.

"No amount of anger and nothing will say would change my mind because I have decided, it will be announced to the pack members on the full moon night, that should be two days from today, right, Kira?"

A Man in his late sixties still looking handsome with his grey and black hair and greyish eyes said and also looking at his daughter.

"Yes father, that would be correct" Kira said as she looked at her father with her deep blue eyes as she put her black hair behind her ears.

"Kira has shown great signs of a leader such as wisdom, way of living, self-control, strength and aggressiveness in the war field, she is the true heir, no matter what you do, she will become the heir, do you listen to me, Gabriel" The old man said.

Gabriel stood up, looked at Kira angrily and at her parents, "I will not stand this injustice, I am the first son to this family, I have been training for this, you can't do this to me father, I won't let this decision stand as long as I'm alive" He said and left.

"Why didn't you stop him? He just walked out on us" The woman said.

"Let him be Darana, he has shown us what kind of a child he is, I have made my decision and I will stand by it" The Man said.

"But Amiz, ......."

"Don't worry mom, everything will calm down, I will talk to him about it, it might be...no, it is very difficult for him to accept it but I will try my best" Kira stood, bowed a little and left.

She has always respected her brother and always been with him, he taught her how to handle a sword. They were always together as the only children of Alpha Amiz. She never once thought that she would ascend the throne and become an alpha queen but she knew about her brother's lifestyle of dealing with women, womanizing and heavy drinking. He was also involved in shady deals. His attitude created a rift between him and his father and he also saw Kira as being the favourite child of his parents and started developing hatred towards her. She could feel the hatred but didn't retaliate, rather she showed him love instead.

Getting to her brother's room door, she knocked and knocked but no answer. She tried to sniff around but couldn't perceive his scent anywhere.

She went downstairs and checked but couldn't find him, she saw her personal maid. Della.

"Master Gabriel had gone out and told me to give you this soup, you know how he is, he won't talk to you or come back till after a week, but he left this for you and said you should take it and you shouldn't worry" Della said as her light brown eyes sparkled

"Hmm, he seemed very angry, I pray he doesn't do something to tarnish the little reputation he has left or do something he regrets" Kira said worried.

Kira then tasted the soup, "Mmm, this is very good, I love it" Kira said as she took more then Della chuckled.

Kira drank all and kept an empty plate, she hasn't regained her strength fully after the war between her pack and the gold coast pack.

"It's an energy soup, you'll regain yourself in no time, I really missed you lady Kira. I was praying for your safety every single day" Della said and Kira smiled.

"No wonder I came back alive" They both chuckled and spoke a bit.

Later that night, Kira woke up to muffled sounds having good hearing, she could tell it's her mom. She quickly stood up and stealthily went to her parents floor upstairs.

Sniffing the air, "Gabriel?" She thought. "I have made up my mind to kill both of you, I heard when you talked about making my little sister the heir to the throne, I was enraged and promised to end your life and make Kira suffer. Everything meant for me always went to her, she was the only one who could enjoy the royal home, I tolerated that but I won't tolerate it, die mother, die...father, I know I couldn't fight you so I used wolfsbane in your dinner and breakfast, I also did same for Kira, she should be dead by now" Gabriel said as he laughed crazily and watched his parents gasping for air and shaking.

Kira saw the scene and couldn't believe it, she felt so dizzy but held herself, there was someone with Gabriel though.

"I will rule this pack with my woman, she really knows and plans her things, I can't wait for the full moon" Gabriel said as he held her waist.

"I can't wait too baby, the coronation night will be the best, don't you think?" She asked and giggled.

"Yes, my Larissa" Gabriel kissed her and Kira gasped which gave her away. She was face to face with Gabriel and Larissa.

She knew she couldn't fight Gabriel and Larissa because Larissa was a beta female. Kira's wolf was dying because of the wolfsbane and was weak before due to the war. She knew the best thing to do was to run but her legs were trembling.

"Get her Gab, get her, kill her even" Larissa said.

Kira knew that Gabriel was behind her, she ran outside to a nearby bush but blacked out.

"Lady K" Was the last thing she heard before blacking out.

' I won't forgive you brother, I don't care if we are related or we grew up together, you killed our parents just because of a decision? Even if I die, I will still come back and avenge my parents and my throne, you will know no peace, Zurel ' Those were her thoughts.

Bright lights, an offensive smell coming from a garage can, Kira woke up with a severe migraine.

She looked around, slowly moving her eyes because she was so weak, she immediately remembered what happened and started shedding tears but she controlled herself after sometime.

She slowly stood up and looked around, this wasn't her pack or any wolf pack at all. She couldn't see anyone. She had to get up and know where she was.

Standing up, she felt a sting from her knee to her feet. She looked down and saw her dress stained with blood.

"What happened to me?" She asked herself as she looked around and at herself.

She just had to walk to find out where she is, walking down the road, she could hear car sounds coming from afar so she stood at the middle of the road. Hoping to get noticed.

' Might be stupid but worth it, desperate times calls for desperate measures ' She thought.

She could hear not one but more than three cars coming at the same pace.

She was so weak that she couldn't stand or even blink an eye but she tried her best to stand so she could get answers.

The car light shine on her face and it slowed down then stopped. It took up to two minutes before someone came out, it was a lady who came out first before men in Black also came out.

"Help" That was Kira's last words before she blacked out again. Kira knew that this would be a good one because she felt the woman's aura.

"Hurry up, I have to get to the gala as soon as possible, time can not be wasted" The woman with blonde hair and light brown hair said as her men closed the car door and drove away.

They had to speed up as the woman hated lateness.

After minutes, the car came to a stop, she looked at her surrounding. "Why did you stop? This isn't the gala venue, I told you that I can't be late why stopping? And if you tell me that we are out of gas, I will sack you immediately"

"N...no ma'am, let me ask what is happening we are the third car so I can't see what happened...... hey, what's wrong ( He spoke to the speaker)"

"There is a girl who is at the middle of the road, she doesn't move at all and she is stained with blood and from the looks of it she looks like a walking dead" The other speaker said.

The woman frowned, "Ms. Megara it seems we ...."

She immediately came out of the car and her bodyguards followed suit. Her eyes met with that of the girl and read her trembling lips before she fell unconscious.

"Vehicle Six, take her back to the mansion, tell the servants before you get there to prepare a room, call doctor Hyun and tell him it's an emergency, and follow my orders immediately" Ms. Megara ordered and they all bowed to her before going to take the young lady in vehicle six.

"The road has been cleared, no stopping, let's go" Megara ordered as she got in then they drove off.

Getting back to her Mansion, a maid came and took he bag from her.

"Where is doctor Hyun? And the lady that was brought in?" She asked the maid.

"Ma'am, the young lady that was brought in earlier is at the third floor opposite your room, doctor Hyun left her on a drip and told a nurse to stay back and watch the young lady, he also said that she has a deep cut by the side of her left thigh and scratches on her back but with the medicines, drip and ointment, there would be no scarring but not the cut on her thigh" A deep voice said from across the room. The maid nodded before she bowed and left.

"Take me to the lady" Megara said and the man took her to the elevator and then to the room.

Kira laid there motionless and unconscious with a drip inserted in her arm. The blood stains were no more and her dress had been changed. She had a bandage on her head and also her thigh.

"She really took a big risk today ma'am, she could have been run over or killed on the lonely road, she was brave enough to even ask for help despite her not knowing you" The man said.

"You are right Ethan, besides I just took a liking to her, she reminds me of my late daughter, I hope she wakes up soon" She said and started gasping for air then Ethan gave an inhaler to her.

"Please be careful ma'am your health is prior to you now, why don't you rest? You have a meeting with the oil company by eight A.M tomorrow and it's almost midnight, I will tell the chef to bring your dinner upstairs while the maid prepares your bath" Ethan said.

"Do so, I will be heading to my room soon" As she said, Ethan bowed and left. Ethan was her most trusted bodyguard alongside his brother Alex and his sister stacy who is a maid. Ms. Megara raised them up from when they were teenagers till now. They refused to leave her to get a job elsewhere but they insisted on taking care of her because she had lung cancer and could kick the bucket at any time.

Megara looked at Kira's face to her feet, she remembered when their eyes met. Kira's eyes were drained and her body just hung on to her neck.

Megara knew that the girl wouldn't last long on that street if she hadn't helped. She was planning to just treat her and let her go but coming close to her now. Megara felt a strong sense of passion towards her and she also loved Kira's aura.

"Wake up soon, my dear. I am curious to know who you are and where you are from" Megara said as she held Kira's palm before leaving the room. She looked back one last time before leaving.

Two days passed and Kira wasn't awake, her wolf was almost dead that she couldn't even feel it or speak with it, her body was so hurt and weak.

To open her eyes were like a big work on her head, she just decided to rest till she has recovered and not to force herself to wake or move, except if necessary. She could feel when the nurse is changing her drip and redressing all her wounds.

The nurse that was brought in for her would clean her body, redress her wound, take care of the drip and apply the ointment on time. She treated Kira with care, Megara would come in often and look at the still unconscious lady, hoping to speak with her and get to know her. The aura which Kira had and her beauty made Megara more curious about her.

Few days after, Kira began feeling at least better, she felt so hungry and thirsty. She also targeted the time the nurse will come in again before she opened her eyes but that day, she didn't come.

Kira looked at the room where she was in, it was as wide as her room back at the palace. She thought she was back but the room was totally different with white and gold designs, a chandelier hanging above and a huge glass window that made the moonlight come in.

Kira tried to sit up but her whole body ached badly and she hissed in pain. Just then, Ethan came in and was shocked then quickly helped Kira to sit up.

"You are finally awake, I will be back let the chef prepare a meal for you and I will quickly call Ms. Megara" Ethan said and left.

Kira just looked at the honey brown hair and eyes man, she could tell a lot from his face and attitude. Most importantly, she was happy he mentioned food and she started wondering who Megara is.

She waited but during that time, memories of what happened to her parents flooded her mind. Tears dropped, she couldn't believe Gabriel could go to such length just to be the alpha of the pack.

She was backstabbed by her own blood, she felt so heartbroken as the tears continued to pour out more.

' I promise to avenge my throne and my parents, I don't care who you are to me, I must exact my revenge, I promise you, mom and dad, I will make sure to avenge you' She thought as hot tears went down her eyes.

The door opened and she saw a blonde woman walk in with her walking stick. From the looks of it, she is Ms. Megara and from her scent she is the woman who often visited this room.

"My dear, you are finally awake, I was so worried, how do you feel? Is everything okay?" Megara asked out of worry.

Kira just looked at her and didn't know what to say. Her throat feels so dry and empty, she couldn't even utter a word and just stared at the woman.

Definitely, everything isn't okay for Kira, she was made an orphan in a night, backstabbed by her blood, almost getting killed by her brother, come to think of it, who saved her? Thoughts ran in her mind. She didn't even know where to start from but she knew that she couldn't let this woman or anyone know that she is a werewolf. ' I'm in the human world ' Kira thought.

"Young lady, say something, what is going on?" Megara asked feeling so worried. Ethan entered with a tray of food, slightly bowing to Megara and handing the food over to Kira.

Before he got to her, Kira could already sniff out the food, her stomach began to grumble. She looked at Ethan, then at Megara before looking at the meal.

She took a spoon and began eating slowly, she couldn't control her appetite and she began eating fast. It was a bowl of soup left. She looked at it and remembered her brother's words.

"I gave her wolfsbane for breakfast and dinner, I also made sure she ate to her fill..."

As she remembered those words, she looked at the soup and threw it, the plate broke, she looked so scared and angry. Her sudden action made both Ethan and Megara shocked.

A maid came in and saw the mess, " Clean this up" Ethan told her then she nodded and left.

"What is wrong? Didn't you like it? Say something, anything, Ethan dear, she wouldn't speak up or did she loose her voice in the process?" Megara was worried.

"I will call the doc.... " Ethan said but was interrupted.

"I didn't loose my voice, I am in shock and I am hurt, I didn't know what to speak of, I am confused about everything" Kira spoke but her voice cracked a bit.

"Oh dear, just calm down and talk to me, where are your parents? Where do you stay? Do you know anyone you can contact? Please speak" Megara said feeling so worried. Kira looked at Megara with her deep blue eyes.

" I....I am ( Her heart became heavy) I am an orphan, I have no one, I don't know where I am coming from or where I'm headed, I am broken and alone, I have no one and no where" Kira said as tears poured down her eyes.

"It's okay,( Megara walked over and sat on the bed as she hugged Kira who was still in tears) Don't worry about anything, I promise to take care of you till my last breath, you have potential, you are a special one" Megara said as she looked at Kira. She felt pity for the young lady.

"Ethan, I am assigning you to watch over her, your brother will be with me, I am giving you this as a favor, please take care of her and do not let her come near any danger" Megara said to Ethan as he just stood there.

Ethan began to wonder why Megara changed. She is not the type to be soft in front of strangers and now she is asking him, her most trusted to watch over a total stranger? It all seemed so out of place for him and began to be curious about Kira.

"Do you listen?" Megara asked. "Y..yes ma'am,I will definitely do as you say" Ethan said but he was still in deep thoughts.
