Morgan Daniels stood on the isle upstairs of 'Yapaki lounge', where she had a view of everything going on in the club, now tired of sitting in her office for hours going over paperwork whilst sipping on a glass of martini that was served to her over an hour ago.
The verdict, the club was doing well and could most definitely afford to hire two or three bartenders.
Tonight, asides from the fact that it was the start of the weekend, was no different from the other nights. The night was very busy as everyone was trying to rid themselves of the hassle of the week. Some work, some college, some may be heartbreak, or something else.
Morgan's gaze locked on a blonde whose gaze has been on her the very moment she came of out her office. A smile appearing on her face, Morgan raised her glass to her.
She knew who she was because, for the past few days, she has been frequent at the club and won't stop staring at her. She knew what she wanted and she was more than willing to give it to her.
But she had to make her sweat for it.
Morgan loved when they seemed desperate for her because she knew that she could give them what they wanted. If not more.
Yes, she was that confident
Tonight, however, she decided was the blonde's lucky day. She was going to give her what she wanted after nights of making her wait.
Morgan Daniels turned around and closed the office door, before walking down the stairs, making her way to the blonde through the sweaty crowd.
"Hey," She said once she was next to the blonde, drinking the last of her martini and sliding the empty glass to the bartender for a refill, sticking out her middle finger and pointer at once requesting two drinks.
"Hi," the blonde says trying, but failing miserably to hide the nerves in her voice.
This only increased Morgan's ego because she liked it when they were nervous.
With a smirk appearing on her lips, Morgan said "Morgan,"
"I know" the blonde replies quickly, earning a smirk from Morgan and simultaneously causing a blush to appear on the girl's cheeks.
"I mean, I know who you are because you're quite popular here. Everyone knows Mathew" the blonde quickly corrected, but still managed to earn a quizzical look from Morgan.
This seemed to annoy the other girls because she rolled her eyes.
"Never mind," she says and Morgan nods.
"Buy me a drink" she orders.
Morgan had already ordered two shots from the bartender, so she easily slid one in the girls' direction and it was her turn to give Morgan a questioning stare.
"That fast? I hope you didn't spike it" she inquired playfully and Morgan gave her a sly smile and sipped her drink before replying.
"I can get a woman just fine. Thank you!" she replied.
Morgan watched the dance floor as she took sips of her drink. A red hair on the dance floor caught her attention as she swayed her hips seductively against some dude that was clearly, already having an erection.
She was freaking hot. Morgan smiled as she thought to herself, making a mental note to have the red-haired some other day since she already had the blonde next to me who gradually undressed her with her stare.
"Want to get out of here?" the girl whispered into Morgan's ear. The whiff of alcohol on her breath made her immediately aroused.
"Give me a minute," Morgan said, downing what was left of her drink and disappearing in the back.
Jonah, Morgan's best friend, partner and the closest thing she has to a big brother, had his tongue down Laiba's throat, his girlfriend of six years, who recently became his fiancée. The site makes Morgan gag as she struggled not to throw out.
"Dude, get a fucking room! Jesus" Morgan grumbled, pulling them apart and walking in between them.
"What the fuck! What is your problem dude?" Jonah inquires, annoyance quite evident in his voice.
"Take charge" Morgan Daniels ordered, fishing for the key to her car from his pocket
"Where are you going?" he asks, putting his hand over his pocket making it impossible for Morgan to take out the keys.
"Someone is waiting for me up front," she ignored his attempts, trying once more to take the keys from him.
"Who?" he asks, his question taking me by surprise
"Not Laiba" Morgan uttered with a sky smile
"Hey, watch it. That's my fiancée you're talking about" he warns. Jonah was very protective of Laiba. He had no trouble with people talking ruthlessly to him, but when it came to his fiancée, be careful, you might lose a tooth.
"I'm sorry" she apologized most to Laiba than to Jonah. "Can I have my keys? It's rude to keep a pretty girl waiting" Morgan was getting impatient. Jonah was fun of this, borrowing her car and whenever she needed it back, he'd made things hell for her.
Jonah looks at his friend warily but hands her the keys.
"Be careful?" it was a plea.
"Okay mom," she replied sarcastically and seized the keys out of his hand and hurried back to the front.
At first, Jonah was okay with this. He knew she wasn't into relationships due to what she went through in the past. But recently, he hated it.
Ever since proposing to Laiba, he wanted her to find someone and settle.
Now that, Morgan Daniels wasn't okay with.
What good will it bring her to find someone, only to have them betray her in the end?
She was fine being single and sleeping around, thank you very much.
No feelings. No hurt.
Bien.
La vie est parfait
Worried that the blonde may have left, Morgan Daniels rushed back to the front, just to find the girl twirling her finger around a strand of hair as she hungrily looked at the Red hair she had her eyes on earlier, swaying her hips.
"Let's go" she whispered into the girl's ear, touching lightly her arm.
She nods, picking up her little purse. Placing a hand on her lower back, Morgan led her to the back of the counter, passing through a small corridor that led outside.
Once outside, she pressed a button on her key, the door of her car opened and she helped the blonde get into the passenger's side, while she got in the driver's side.
Then, Morgan turned on the ignition of her car, driving off with her victim for a night of endless pleasure.

College isn't easy.
Twenty year old Maia Shelton was coming to realise that.
Barely three weeks into college and the young girl was already fed up. The courses weren't easy, lots and lots of assignments every day with a submission period of fewer than twenty-four hours.
This was only the first year.
As she sat in class, her hand suspended her head that currently felt heavy from days of sleepless nights trying to meet the submission deadline for assignments. She listened to the voice of the lecturer as he spoke, but nothing stuck.
Good thing for her, it was Friday. So she would have some time to rest as given that her class tomorrow didn't start until one p.m.
Maia Shelton groaned, a bit too loud because suddenly, all eyes were on her, including the lecturer who gave her a death glare.
She smiled awkwardly as she gradually sank in her sit. Wanting nothing more than for the earth to open up and swallow her.
"Is something the matter miss?" the lecturer asked, dropping the little notebook which he used to lecture on the desk.
"Uh... yes sir. Can I be excused?" Maia questioned nervously.
The professor rolled his eyes looking fed up, still he signalled with his hand for the young girl to leave.
Quickly, Maia gathered notebook and her other belongings and rushed out of the class. She was seated by the aisle in the back of the class, making it easy to rush out of class without drawing in any attention to her.
The young girl rushed to the bathroom, throwing her bag on the floor, and looked at herself in the mirror. Maia sighed at how pale and tired she looked thanks to the eyebags under her eyes, then proceeded to flash some water on her face, then gently pinched and slapped her cheeks to bring back some colour to her face.
Giggles could be heard out of the door indicating that a group of girls were making their way in. Maia Shelton panicked and quickly grabbed her bag and rushed into a stall and stood on the toilet seat.
"I heard Yapaki lounge is amazing" Maia heard the first voice say.
"Right? I haven't been there but my roommate has, and she said it was amaze-balls. I can't wait to go there" the second voice said with a squeal.
"I heard they're seeking to hire bartenders," the first voice says
"Where did you hear that?" another voice asks
"From some group of girls in accounting class," the first voice says
"Oh great, I know Dayana will be interested. She's been looking for a job" the third voice added.
"Yeah, no. Working in a club? With all the perverts that go in there every day? No thanks," the second voice says, making Maia sense the disgust in her voice.
"Yeah, whatever Shay," the third girl says, probably replying to the second girl, whose name Maia had come to learn was Shay. Regardless what their names were, the young girl knew she would probably never meet them.
It was suddenly silent, making the young girl understand that the bathroom was empty and she could safely leave the stall.
Looking at herself in the mirror one last time, she straightened her dress and left the bathroom.
Maia Shelton looked at the golden meduim wristwatch indicating five more minutes until her class for Entrepreneurship was over, making the thought of sitting through any class for the rest of the day gruesome for her.
By the end of the class, the young girl grabbed her books and went home, wanting nothing but to sleep off her tiredness.
Maia Shelton's roommate and best friend Janata was currently sprawled out on the couch, popcorn in a bowl and her phone in hand as she scrolled through what the young girl assumed to be Instagram.
"You look like shit," Janata commented as she sat up.
The young girl threw her backpack to the ground and sat next to her friend.
"Thanks. I feel like shit too" Maia uttered with a sigh.
"You know it's okay if you miss school for a day right?" Janata questioned with a comforting hand on her friends shoulder.
Maia Shelton gave her friend a knowing look before rolling her eyes.
Janata McCoy is Mais's longtime friend from foster care and the closest thing she has to a sister. The young girl left foster care at the age of seventeen after failing her last year of high school.
School has never been Janata's thing. The young girl wasn't book smart, but she sure as hell was street smart because, in three years, she moved to a new city, worked her ass off and now she was fine, financially.
Well, not extremely rich but she has a roof over her head, has a job, can afford at least three square meals a day.
Things both girls longed for back in foster care. Although Janata left, they stayed in contact all these years because when Maia reached out about her plans, Janata offered to help.
She took in her friend free of charge, has been feeding her without any complaints and went as far as helping her seek admission into college.
Now, Maia Shelton felt like a burden because she was entirely depending on Janata for everything.
The current reason why the young girl was thinking of going applying for the job those girls were talking about.
"Janata" Maia called out but got no response but proceeded with her question anyways.
"Have you heard of Yapaki Lounge?" this time when Maia spoke up, Janata came rushing out of the room.
"Yes, why?" she inquired, sitting Indian style on the couch.
"What did you hear about it?" the young girl ignored her friend's question to ask hers.
"You mean asides the fact that it is only THE most popular lounge in Middenhall," Janata says, emphasis on 'THE'
"Why are you asking?" she inquires again
"No reason. I was hiding in the bathroom stall when I-"Janata cuts her off, putting her index finger on Mais's lips leaving the young girl confused.
"Why were you hiding in a bathroom stall?" she asked, making Maia roll her eyes and confusion was written all over Janata's face.
"Can I finish?" the young girl was getting aggravated
"Sorry go on" Janata apologizes.
"As I said, I was in the bathroom stall when some girls worked in. They were talking about a certain Yapaki lounge, how popular it was and that they were currently seeking bartenders," Maia explained. Janata's gaze was already on her, but this time, it had an unreadable expression to it.
"And right now you're thinking you could apply" she states and the young girl nods.
"Being a bartender is not easy. And I'm not talking about workload, no. I'm talking about dealing with the stares and slangs of perverts, can you deal with that?" she asks.
Maia Shelton was quite aware of all that. On her way back from class, the only thing that lingered on her mind was the opening at Yapaki longe. The young girl knew all the packages that came with working in a club, but she had no choice.
For months, she has been unable to get a job, and now that she'd found an opening, she refused to let her fear stop her.
-------
"Did you send out the news?" Morgan Daniels asked Jonah Righetti, walking into his office which was found at the back of the club, and as usual, Laiba Fawkham sat in his lap as they made out, their clothes most probably falling off anytime soon.
After having a thorough conversation with Jonah, they both agreed that the club was doing well enough to hire two more bartenders. So he had taken charge of that.
At first, Jonah Righetti wanted to hire a small marketing firm for an advert on the opening.
Although beneficial, Morgan Daniels voted against it. For the simple reason being only, mostly elderly persons read the newspaper, and nowadays, it is very unlikely that teens will go through newspapers looking for job openings, though some persons find jobs through that method.
It was somewhat slow.
But this was a club. Morgan thought they didn't need to put out an advert in the newspaper. All they had to do was tell Trevor, the current bartender about the opening. And in return, Trevor would mention it to the youths who came to drink, who in turn will mention it to their peers and that is how the word will spread out.
Free advert. Or what the dark-haired will like to call, word of mouth.
Sometime within the week, Morgan Daniels had asked Jonah to take charge of telling Trevor about the opening, hoping that by Friday they must have had some applicants.
Which was today.
"For the last time, yes Morgan. Now can you excuse me, I'm busy" Jonah says, infuriated as he made gestures with his hands pointing at Laiba who gave the dark-haired a shy smile.
Sighing, Morgan Daniels rolled her eyes and left his office.
Jonah Righetti was the first person Morgan Daniels met when she moved to Cleveland. Her dad, Gary Daniels had just passed away and had left the most share of the Home cleaning Service Company to her big brother Roi, a company she worked her butt off, just to prove her worth to her dad.
Three days after Mr Daniels dad was laid to rest, Morgan finds her big brother and her girlfriend in her bed, fucking the hell out of each other.
Hurt by this betrayal, the dark-haired sold her share of the company to Roi and left.
Morgan Daniels was just twenty-one when she met Jonah Righetti. He started as her roommate, slowly they became acquaintances.
The dark-haired could still remember how he almost lost Laiba when she walked in and found her in nothing but a towel in their apartment.
That was three days after she had moved in. Not only did she throw a fit, but she also came at Morgan, threatening to beat the shit out of her and the only thing running through Morgan's mind was 'who the hell was this lady?'
Alas, Jonah returned home and tried calming her down, but Laiba Fawkham wouldn't listen. She was convinced they were having an affair, and Morgan telling her she was gay didn't calm her down because she had made up her mind.
But after a month of death stares, awkward moments, and she walking in on Morgan getting lucky with a woman, she finally believed Jonah was right all along.
Three months later, Jonah pitched in his idea about wanting to buy a club that was already going out of business, renew it and give it a new name. But he was, however, short on finances. Morgan Daniels had the money and knowledge of how to run a business, so together, they decided to embark on that journey.
And here they are, four years later, best friends and business partners.
Who would have thought?
Morgan Daniels was going to take charge of questioning the applicants for the opening because she had some qualities she needed in a bartender.
The club was slowly getting stacked as people came in, once again trying to rid themselves of whatever hassle they had going on within the week, while Morgan made her way up the stairs, headed to her office to go through some paperwork for the renewal of lounge's liquor license.
Minutes into reviewing the paper, a light knock on the door take the dark-haired off focus. She looked up and there was Trevor, standing on the threshold.
"Some applicants are waiting down," he says
"Okay, thank you, Trevor. I will be down in a minute" Morgan replied.
The dark-haired closed the file and made her way downstairs. The dance floor was three times more popular than it was when she first walked up.
Three girls, two of them dressed in slutty clothes stood at the counter.
Trevor pointed, indicating that those were the ladies for the interview
"Good evening ladies" Morgan greeted them and ushered them to the back of the counter.
Psychically, one matched person matched one of the criteria Morgan needed. She ran a lounge, not a strip club, so the other girls dressed like strippers were already a point short.
"I am Morgan Daniels, manager and partner of Yapaki Lounge, my partner is busy in the back so I will be handling this. Can I know your names?" she introduced
"Terry " the decent-looking one spoke up first.
"Resha" one of the girls dressed like a slut spoke up.
"Hannah," the last girl says seductively, winking and twirling the ends of her hair.
"Great. Hannah, you can go home" Morgan said folding her arms, her expression stoic.
Although Morgan Daniels loved when women seemed desperate to have her, and while it was clear as day Hannah wanted to have a taste of her, Morgan wasn't in the mood.
Any other time of day, she would have gladly given her what she wanted, but right now, it had to do with her business, something she took very personally and hated when people think they can mess with that because of their silly female wimps.
"But-"
"You can leave" Morgan repeated, giving her a blank expression that left no room for further debate.
She whines and makes her way through the door new took earlier. At once, Morgan felt Resha poise herself.
Morgan Daniels sighed and turned her filled attention back to the girls.
"Who amongst you-" she started, but was interrupted by the sound of Hannah's voice.
"Fucking watch where you move" she yelled.
In front of her, stood a shy-looking girl who shredded up as Hannah yelled at her, and Morgan couldn't understand why, but the fact that Hannah raised her voice at the, bothered her.
And Morgan did not like that one bit.
"I'm sorry," the girl says, her voice so sweet and soft it sounded like that of an angel.
"Whatever" Hannah said with an attitude, bumping the girl with force as she walked out.
Morgan Daniels watched as the girl took a moment to regain herself, unaware of the eyes that were on her.
Then she looked up. And her gaze locks with Morgan.
And then she felt something she hasn't felt in so long.
