Chapter 1 Stranded in Paradise

Chapter 1.

Natasha's POV:

At a young age, I learned that life is messy. You either follow the crowd to survive, or you stand your ground and fight for yourself.

I'm Andrew Natasha. Raised by foster parents, I never knew my real ones-and, to be honest, I never cared to. But when I was old enough to fend for myself, my foster parents decided their job was done. They sent me packing.

I still remember that day vividly-the sting of abandonment, the sound of the door clicking shut behind me, the scent of fresh-cut grass as I walked away from the only home I'd ever known.

I don't hate them for it; in fact, I'm grateful. Life wasn't easy for them either, and I figured I was just another burden they couldn't afford to carry. I recall the look of relief on their faces as I left, mixed with a hint of guilt. It was a complicated emotion, but one that I understood.

After leaving their house, I started a new life on my own. It wasn't easy, but I persevered. I began working as a high-class escort, which is just a fancy way of saying I got paid to wear pretty dresses and smile at rich guys. The smell of expensive perfume and champagne became familiar, but the emptiness inside me never faded.

But despite the glamour and luxury, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was just a bed warmer to these men. None of them saw a future with me; I was just something to use and discard. I refused to see myself that way, though. I was more than just a pretty face and a charming smile.

After years of living the high life, I'd had enough. I was tired of the fake smiles, awkward conversations, and constant pressure to perform. I wanted out. So, I made a plan. I saved up enough money to leave California and start fresh in Hawaii, my dream destination.

I'd always fantasized about waking up to the sound of waves crashing, spending my days soaking up the sun, and living a simple, peaceful life. I worked hard to make that dream a reality, and finally, the day arrived. I packed my bags, said goodbye to California, and boarded a flight to Hawaii.

"Bye, California, hello, Hawaii!" I exclaimed, feeling a thrill of excitement.

The five-hour flight passed quickly, and before I knew it, I was landing in Honolulu. As I collected my luggage, my excitement turned to panic. The person I'd arranged to meet was nowhere to be found, and I realized I'd been scammed. I was stranded in a foreign city with no money and no one to turn to.

Panic set in as I rummaged through my bag for my phone. My hands were shaking, and my heart was racing. I dialed Raymond's number, my friend back in California. "Ray Ray, I need your help," I said, trying to hold back tears. "I've been scammed, and I'm stranded here with no place to go."

Raymond and I met in a rather unconventional way. He's the only actual friend I have, and the one true friend who understands and knows me better. Let's just say he was one of the reasons I quit my lifestyle, but that's a story for another day. Right now, I needed his help to get out of this mess.

I broke down in tears as I spoke to Raymond. "I was scammed, I have nowhere to go, you're the only person I could think of..." I rambled on until I ran out of words. Silence set in for a while as I waited for Raymond to speak.

"Are you done?" Raymond asked with a firm voice that didn't show concern. Raymond is always like that - he has this emotionless facial expression that I personally find hard to read.

"I guess," I replied in a baby-like manner.

"Where are you?" he asked.

"Hawaii," I replied, sniffing back tears.

"Why the hell are you in Hawaii?" Raymond's voice rose in surprise.

"It's a long story, can you just help me out?" I pleaded.

Raymond sighed. "Do you have any idea where you are right now?"

I looked around, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings. The sound of the airport announcements, the smell of food from the nearby restaurants, and the sight of strangers rushing to their gates created a sense of chaos. "I'm not sure," I admitted, feeling a sense of desperation creeping in.

"Share your location with me, and stay right where you are," Raymond instructed before hanging up.

A few minutes later, he called back with a solution. "I've got a friend who lives around there. You should head to his place. I'll send you the address."

I felt a surge of relief wash over me. "Thank you, Ray Ray."

But my relief was short-lived. As I realized I had no money to get to Raymond's friend's place, my heart sank. "Ray Ray, I don't have money to get there," I admitted, feeling a sense of shame.

Raymond's response was immediate. "I'll take care of it," he said before hanging up.

A few minutes later, my phone beeped, indicating an incoming transaction. I smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude toward Raymond.

"Thank you, Ray Ray," I whispered to myself.

As I hailed a cab and gave the driver the address, I couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. Who was this friend of Raymond's, and what would he be like?

The cab dropped me off in front of a beautiful mansion with a lush garden and a stream running alongside it. The sound of the water, the smell of the flowers, and the sight of the stunning architecture created a sense of serenity. I felt like I had stepped into a dream world.

As I walked up to the door, I noticed it was slightly ajar. I pushed it open and called out, "Hello?"

A deep, smooth voice responded from inside. "Oh, hi. Come on in."

My heart skipped a beat as I stepped inside and caught sight of the most gorgeous man I had ever laid eyes on. He was everything I had sworn to resist: charming, handsome, and oozing confidence.

"Hi, you must be Natasha," he said, flashing a dazzling smile.

I felt my face flush as I took in the sight of him. "And you must be Adrian," I replied, trying to sound calm.

As Adrian took my luggage from me, his hand brushed against mine, sending shivers down my spine. I couldn't help but feel drawn to him, despite my best intentions.

"Snap out of it, Tasha," I chided myself as I followed Adrian into the house.

Before I could get comfortable, I remembered my promise to Raymond. "Excuse me for a Minute, I need to call Raymond," I said, rummaging through my bag for my phone.

As I dialed Raymond's number, Adrian looked at me with curiosity. "yeah sure, go on" he said..

I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "Yeah, I just need to let Raymond know I arrived safely."

Raymond answered on the first ring. "Hey, Tasha. You're safe?" he asked, his voice firm but concerned.

"Yeah, I'm safe," I replied, feeling a sense of gratitude toward him. "Thanks for everything, Ray Ray."

"Anytime, And One more thing, Tasha," Raymond said, his voice serious. "No flirting around, especially not with him."

I hesitated for a moment before responding. "I promise, trust me, I have turned a new leaf. No flirting, I promise," I assured him with a smile.

"I will try to trust you this once," Raymond said before hanging up.

I turned to Adrian, who was watching me with an intense gaze. "Thanks for letting me stay here," I said, trying to sound calm.

Adrian smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "No problem, Natasha. Let me show you to your room," he said, leading me into a beautifully furnished and decorated room with a plush bed and a stunning view of the garden.

I felt a surge of gratitude toward Adrian as I gazed into his striking blue eyes, which seemed to sparkle like the ocean. But as our eyes met, I felt an undeniable spark of attraction, and I knew I was heading for trouble.

"Thank you for letting me stay here," I said, trying to sound calm despite the flutter in my chest. "I really appreciate it."

Adrian's smile broadened. "It's my pleasure, Natasha. Make yourself at home. If you need anything, just call me."

My mind began to wander as I gazed at Adrian. "Anything at all?" I asked in a soft tone, my eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Adrian's eyes seemed to gleam with amusement. "Yeah, anything. let me leave you to do your thing then"

As Adrian turned to leave, I forced my gaze away but it was too late. That flicker of attraction had already taken root. And i had no idea if i was ready for what's coming..........

Chapter 2 Unspoken Desires

Chapter 2

Adrian's POV

I'd promised Raymond I'd keep an eye on his friend, Natasha, who was coming to stay with me for a while. It wasn't exactly my idea of fun, but Raymond wasn't the type to ask for favors often, so I couldn't say no. I valued my alone time, but I also valued our friendship.

A few hours after I ended the call with Raymond, I heard a voice behind me.

"Hello?" she called out.

I turned to see a stunning woman standing in the doorway. Her long, dark hair cascaded down her back, and her bright blue eyes sparkled as she smiled.

"You must be Natasha," I said, trying to sound casual despite the fact that I was taken aback by her beauty.

"And you must be Adrian," she said, her voice husky.

I showed her to her room, trying to make small talk as we walked. But my mind kept wandering back to the way she looked, the way she smiled...

"Make yourself at home," I told her, trying to sound friendly. "If you need anything, just give me a shout."

"Anything at all?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

I raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Yeah, anything," I replied, my voice low.

Natasha's smile grew wider, and she nodded. "Thanks," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

I left her to settle in, feeling a pang of curiosity about this mysterious woman. Who was she, really? And what was her story?

I headed to the kitchen to start making dinner, my mind still on Natasha. I decided on lobster and avocado salad, with coconut shrimp and mango chutney on the side. I was a decent cook, and I hoped Natasha would appreciate the effort.

As I cooked, I found myself wondering what Natasha would be like. Would she be easy to talk to? Would she open up to me?

When dinner was ready, I called out to Natasha, and she emerged from her room looking stunning in a pair of shorts and a baggy knitted top. Her hair was pulled back into a bun, and her eyes sparkled as she smiled.

"Hey," she said, her voice husky.

I smiled back, feeling a pang of attraction. "Hey," I replied. "Dinner's ready."

Natasha's eyes widened as she took in the spread. "Wow, you're a chef," she exclaimed.

I chuckled. "Just a decent cook," I replied as i offered her a seat. "Thank you" she appreciated and took her seat. "I don't really know how you love your food, so i hope this is to your taste" I told her as i took my seat opposite her. "There is only one way to find out" she said and scooped out food onto her plate.

Natasha dug in, her eyes closing in rapture as she tasted the food. I watched her, feeling a sense of satisfaction. Maybe this wasn't going to be so bad after all.

As we ate, the conversation flowed easily. Natasha was witty and charming, and I found myself laughing and feeling at ease.

I watched her eat, noticing a stain on her cheek. I smiled, picked up a tissue, and gently wiped her mouth. As our eyes met, I felt a jolt of electricity run through my body. The touch sent shivers down my spine, and for a moment, we just stared at each other. I was captivated by the sparkle in her eyes, the way her lips curved into a soft smile.

My mind began to wander, imagining what it would be like to kiss her, to feel her lips against mine. I pushed the thought aside, reminding myself that I had promised Raymond I wouldn't get involved with her. But as I looked into her eyes, I couldn't help but feel drawn to her.

"Sorry, you got something stuck to your cheek," I told her, my voice low and husky. I drew back, trying to compose myself, but my eyes never left hers.

Natasha's eyes fluttered closed, and she took a deep breath before responding. "Thanks," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper............

Natasha's POV

I had no idea what was running through Adrian's mind the moment he touched my cheek, but the gaze he gave me said it all. I was ready for whatever crazy thoughts he was having. It was good to know I wasn't the only one feeling this attraction. But my mood broke the moment he withdrew. I felt a pang of disappointment as I cleaned my cheek, then continued eating.

"How did you meet Raymond?" Adrian asked, breaking the silence.

"Raymond? We met at a friend's party," I replied.

"Oh, and how long have you guys known each other?" he asked, his eyes locked on mine.

"Three years and counting," I said, still stuffing my face with food.

"That's nice," Adrian said. "And you guys are just friends?" His tone hinted at curiosity, and his expression seemed to wish there was nothing more between us.

I looked up, meeting his gaze. "We're just friends, actually," I told him, and I saw a hint of relief wash over his face.

Adrian nodded, a small smile playing on his lips. "That's good," he said, his voice low and smooth.

I raised an eyebrow, wondering why he seemed so relieved. Did he think I was going to say something else?

We ate in silence for a few moments, the only sound being the clinking of utensils on plates. I couldn't help but sneak glances at Adrian, who seemed lost in thought.

As we finished up, Adrian pushed his plate away and leaned back in his chair. "So, Natasha," he said, his eyes locking on mine. "What do you do?"

I wasn't expecting that question, and I wasn't prepared to answer. I definitely couldn't tell him I worked as a slot - that wasn't even a real job.

"You don't want to tell me?" Adrian asked, raising an eyebrow.

I hesitated before responding. "I don't have a job, actually."

Adrian's expression changed, and he smiled faintly. "Ooh, that's weird. Wasn't expecting that."

I bristled slightly at his comment. "Why? Who says it's a must to have a job?"

Adrian held up his hands in defense. "I didn't mean it that way. What I'm saying is that at least there should be something you really want to do."

His words struck a chord within me. I realized I had never taken the time to think about what I truly wanted.

"Never really thought about that," I replied, feeling a pang of disappointment in myself.

Adrian's expression softened. "I didn't mean to make you feel bad. Just... I'm sorry."

I waved his apology aside. "No, it's okay. Actually, I understand. I'm tired; mind if we talk better tomorrow?"

Adrian nodded. "Sure."

I smiled faintly. "Good night."

I headed into my room, feeling a mix of emotions. Adrian's words had struck a chord, and I couldn't help but wonder what I truly wanted out of life.

Adrian's POV

I watched Natasha walk into her room, her shoulders slumped in defeat. I ran my hand through my hair, exhaling sharply as Natasha disappeared into her room. I hadn't mean to push her, but the slump in her shoulders told me I already did.

As I headed to my room, I tried to shake off the guilt that lingered inside me. I cleaned up the kitchen, my mind preoccupied with thoughts of Natasha. Sleep was far from my reach as I lay in bed, my mind enveloped with visions of her.

I couldn't help but wonder what had led her to this point in her life. What had made her feel so lost and uncertain? And why did I feel this overwhelming urge to help her, to support her, and to be there for her?

As the night wore on, my thoughts only grew more jumbled. I couldn't shake the feeling that Natasha was hiding something from me, that there was more to her story than she was letting on.

Despite the questions swirling in my mind, I couldn't help but feel drawn to her. There was something about Natasha that tugged at my heartstrings, something that made me want to know her better, to understand her, and to help her find her way.........

Chapter 3 Something more

Chapter 3

Adrian's POV

Morning came, and since it was the weekend-my fun day-I got dressed and set out for the beach to surf, one of my favorite activities. As I walked into the living room, I found Natasha sitting on the couch, her eyes glued to the TV, a bowl of popcorn by her side. She didn't seem to notice my presence, completely engrossed in the show she was watching. Every now and then, she smiled, and I felt relieved-seeing her happy after yesterday's tense conversation was a good sign.

"It's good to see you're getting comfortable," I said as I walked toward her.

She flinched slightly, startled, before turning to look at me. "Hey," she greeted, her tone calm as a light smile formed on her lips.

"How was your night?" I asked.

"It was cool. Yours?" she asked in return.

"Wasn't too bad," I replied with a shrug.

She eyed my outfit-a vintage beachwear set with a small backpack slung over my shoulder. "You're heading out?" she asked, curiosity in her gaze.

"Yeah, heading to the beach. Wanna come along?" I offered, hoping she'd say yes.

"You bet! You think I'm letting you have all the fun without me?" she teased before quickly standing up and dusting off popcorn crumbs from her lap. "Wait here," she said before dashing into her room.

A few moments later, she reappeared in a flowery lap-length beach jumpsuit, her black ebony hair tied back in a sleek ponytail. She looked stunning-effortlessly beautiful, as always. I didn't know how she did it, but no matter what she wore, she always managed to take my breath away.

For a brief moment, I just stared, caught off guard.

"I'm ready," she said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I cleared my throat, trying to compose myself. "Alright, let's go," I said, leading the way out.

Natasha's POV

Purr! As Adrian led the way out to his yard, my eyes widened at the sight before me-a sleek red convertible parked right in the center. He had other cars, but this one screamed expensive. I wouldn't say I had ever driven in a convertible before, but this was on a different level. The thought of riding in it with Adrian sent a thrill down my spine.

I had goosebumps as Adrian walked over and opened the door for me. What a gentleman, I thought, settling into the plush leather seat. He slid into the driver's seat and, before starting the car, pulled out two pairs of sunglasses, handing one to me.

"A beach outfit isn't complete without the right accessories, don't you think?" he said with a smirk, slipping his on.

Damn. Have you ever seen a man so effortlessly hot? Because Adrian was the perfect definition of handsome. Those sunglasses only made him look even more irresistible. Given the chance, I could have stared at him all day-but my excitement to explore Hawaii pulled me back to reality.

The engine purred to life, and soon, we were on our way. Just as I had imagined-and as I had read countless times-Hawaii was pure paradise. The landscapes, the breeze, the golden sand... Everything felt like a dream.

When we finally arrived at the beach, we picked a spot to settle down. Adrian grabbed his gear and headed off to get changed for surfing while I took my time soaking in the breathtaking view in front of me.

Adrian's POV

I felt good about coming to the beach with Natasha. Not that it wasn't fun when I came alone, but something about her presence made it better.

Dressed in my surf gear, I carried my board under my arm as I walked toward her. That's when I noticed something different-her hair. She had let it down, allowing the breeze to play with it. It suited her better this way, framing her face perfectly.

"Enjoying the view?" I asked, dropping the tip of my surfboard into the sand.

She turned to me with a small smile. "Yeah. I see you're all set."

"Yeah. You can join me if you want," I offered with a grin.

She shook her head. "I can't surf."

"I can teach you," I smirked. "It's not as hard as it looks."

Natasha tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "I think I'll pass."

I noticed the hesitation in her voice. "You're scared, aren't you?"

She hesitated before letting out a soft chuckle. "A little."

I laughed too. "I'll be there to guide you. Trust me."

Something flickered in her eyes-determination.

She met my gaze. "I'll trust you, then."

"Good," I said with a satisfied grin. "Let's get you dressed."

I led her to grab a wetsuit, and soon enough, we were out in the water. For a beginner, she was a quick learner, and it wasn't long before she was standing on the board, riding small waves with a mix of excitement and fear.

We surfed until the sun dipped below the horizon, then settled back on the beach. I pulled off my shirt, letting the cool breeze wash over me. Natasha, on the other hand, stood with her toes buried in the sand, completely mesmerized by the ocean. She turned to me, her eyes sparkling. "Did you know Hawaiian sunsets are more than just beautiful? They're part of the island's soul."

I raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

She smiled, stepping closer. "Ancient Hawaiians believed that when the sun sets, it's guiding spirits to the next world. It's why some of the best views, like Ka'ena Point, feel so untouched-because it's sacred ground. Even now, people stop and watch as the sun dips into the Pacific. It's like the whole world slows down for a moment."

I hadn't really thought much about sunsets before. They were just something that happened every day. But the way Natasha spoke about them, with so much passion, made me see them differently.

"Haleakalā Summit," she continued, her voice soft. "It's one of the most breathtaking places to watch a sunset. You're above the clouds, looking down at the world, and for a moment, it feels like you're standing at the edge of heaven."

I smirked. "You sound like a tour guide."

She laughed, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "you think so?"

That caught my attention. A spark of realization flickered in her eyes, and for the first time, she looked like she had an answer to the question I'd asked her last night-what do you want to do?

Maybe Natasha had just found her calling. And maybe, just maybe, I wanted to be the one to help her chase it. "yeah, I feel you will do a great job at that" I encouraged.

Natasha's POV

"You sound like a tour guide."

Those words lit something inside me-like a spark I never knew existed. Maybe Adrian was right. I'd always loved adventures, always loved reading about the history of places. How have I never thought of becoming a tour guide myself? The more I mulled it over, the more it felt like... me. It felt like something I could actually be good at or was it just my thought?

"Hey... you good?" Adrian's voice pulled me back to reality.

I blinked, shaking off my thoughts. "Yeah... I don't know. Just... feeling a bit happy."

Adrian's lips curved into a smile. "Is that so?" He tilted his head, his deep eyes locked on mine. "Why don't we make the night more fun? I heard Hawaii has the best night views... How about we go see them? Better idea-you be my tour guide for the night."

My heart skipped a beat. "Really?"

He chuckled, leaning against the surfboard. "Yeah. I'll be your first client. Show me what you've got."

A smile spread across my face, excitement bubbling inside me. I couldn't believe how quickly my mood had shifted. few days ago, I thought my life had no direction. Now, standing under the Hawaiian night sky, I was about to discover something new about myself.

"Okay, deal! Since you're my first client, you get a free tour... starting from the top three best night views in Hawaii."

Adrian laughed. "Lucky me."

We rushed back to change, then hit the road.

I never thought I'd enjoy showing someone around. With Adrian behind the wheel, I took on the role of his personal guide, directing him from one breathtaking view to another.

Our first stop was Mount Tantalus-a hilltop lookout that gave us a sweeping view of Honolulu's glittering skyline. I watched Adrian's face light up as he admired the city below.

"Not bad, huh?" I teased.

He smirked. "Alright, tour guide... you might just have a future in this."

Our next stop was Diamond Head Lookout-a quiet cliffside where the city lights melted into the ocean. The night breeze brushed against my skin as I closed my eyes, taking in the peaceful sound of waves crashing in the distance.

I felt... alive.

Our final destination was Ko Olina-a quiet, secluded spot perfect for stargazing. Adrian laid out a blanket while I rambled on about Hawaiian legends tied to the stars. He listened-really listened-and for the first time, I felt like I was talking about something that mattered.

By the time we wrapped up the night, I had unknowingly found something that made me feel whole.

We ended the tour at a cozy seafood restaurant tucked deep in the city-53 By The Sea. The place was buzzing, with soft music playing in the background. The warm lights flickered off the glass windows, and I couldn't help but feel proud of myself.

I glanced at Adrian across the table, his eyes fixed on me like he was seeing me in a whole new light.

"You're good at this, you know?" he said softly.

His words settled deep inside me.

I never thought I'd find more to life than being a bed warmer or planning to live a quiet life tucked away from the world. But meeting Adrian... he made me realize that maybe-just maybe-I was meant for more.........
