Chapter 1 PROLOGUE

Hey everyone! My name's Jorge, I'm a Spaniard but I base in the States. I'm now a married man, just recently tied the knots with the popular and influential actress, Lucia Greens. You guys surely know her...the average height, blonde, elegant and slim Lucia Greens. Don't tell her I just called her elegant (chuckles), the whole world of Instagram would be disturbed because of excitement.

But I gotta be really honest...she made what I am today, the popular writer Jorge Bellerin, always showcasing his thirty-two to the world...even for no good reason. Though I won't want her to hear this, I'm really indebted my whole life to my wife. Apart from making my life tasty (laughs), she made me be this kind of guy that can now comfortably relate with the society...I have now fit in to the society.

Such an irony for me and Lucia to be married right? Well...in case you still have doubts about it, you are free to check out the news.

Those of you guys that knew Lucia Greens right from her teenage years when she'd already begun making waves in the movie industry...in Hollywood would prolly be shocked she got married to me. What was the name of the first movie she starred in? (thinks for a while) Yeah...The Witch...how could I forget that?!

Because of her fame, she was very proud then, only relating with people she felt were cool. And what was I then? A nobody I think, who only had one close friend besides my blood brother in school. Honestly, my life at high school was extremely boring.

I used to always suffer from heartbreaks from girls especially. No girl wanted to be my girlfriend and I gave up on love, vowing never to get close to any girl again. That was a quick decision...I know, but it did help in one way...

I'd begun writing stories from the age of 9 but I wasn't dogged to be a famous writer, would only write then whenever I feel bored. After giving up on love, I realised my potential in writing, it became my obsession, and thanks to my family, my parents and my only brother for loving my stories from the start, I had enough drive to focus on writing and keep on moving forward. I felt that was the only thing that'd never hurt me.

For Lucia, she was very good in acting right from her childhood days and fortunately for her, she was picked by the famous movie producer, Rafael Chadwick to star in The Witch movie. This movie went viral and everyone loved it. She got her fame from that very movie.

Lucia has always been a person that loves fun, though she also loved education and I didn't. Lucia was a fan of fun and parties and is still a fan but, I was just a mere boring fella. Now you see clearly the difference between us?

With what I just said...you guys are prolly wondering how we fell in love and got married right? (laughs) Oh come on! Why should you? In physics we were taught unlike poles attract each other right?

But anyways, I know many of you guys would want to know how the boring Jorge Bellerin got married to Lucia Greens, the one always groaning under the weight of fun and happiness. How did I get her to fall for me? Being myself.

I want to tell the story right away. Those of you embarking on this folklore...uhmmm sorry...I meant to say true life love story, will learn a lot and most importantly, learn something useful to keep your life running smoothly.

Let's start right away so we could come back from our journey on time before my wife calls. She can nag for the world! Let our love story begin!

Did you sense any drama?

I'm sure you did!

Let's go over to the next chapter and see what happened in Jorge's life...

Chapter 2 Introduction To My Boring Life

"I love you a lot. It's been two months we became friends but I'm pretty sure of the feelings I have right now", me trying to make a girl be my girlfriend. I held her hand, caressing it to try force out I love you too from her mouth. What a lovely way to charm a person right?! You should have seen me trying to fake crocodile tears. I did feel love for her though, just felt the acting won't make her say no to me. Charm number two.

But what happened? She vehemently told me no. "I think it'd be better if we stay just friends", she added. Only God know how composed I tried to be after hearing that. Not only was my proposal turned down, I performed two magic rituals, caressing her and faking crocodile tears and yet none worked. It was annoying man!

I didn't give up though, I tried insisting further. "But we've been close for a while now. You even said few days ago you always enjoy my company."

"Of course I did! As a FRIEND!", she stressed the last word, even repeated it twice more as though I was deaf or something.

I was just about saying something but she stood up to go. "We'll talk some other time Jorge...I gotta go", she said to me. As my mouth was open when I was interrupted, that was how it was as I watched her go in shock.

You know what? That was the end of me having anything to do with the gender that kept on breaking my heart. That was the eighth girl I've proposed to in two years but got rejected by all while still in high school. I was sixteen then and I got fed up with being emotionally derailed whenever I'm rejected.

I left the restaurant that day with only one thing in mind. "Don't get close to any girl again", it'd always tell me. I became much more attached to my books and pens...felt they were the only things that would never hurt me.

"I'm always writing because my book and pen can never hurt me", I'd always say whenever my older brother would ask why I was so obsessed with writing.

His name's Sanchez Bellerin. He was a big fan of my books and writing.

He was very good at being a playboy then before he found his true love. Honestly...I feel he should be given an award to acknowledge him for his playboy days...he was damn good at it!

The day I decided to see him as my role model and followed his playboy ways, I got slapped by three different girls that same day only because I flirted with them. Or maybe I wasn't just good in flirting...

Oh God! I'd never kissed a girl before, only my Mum had kissed me before on my cheek, whenever I wanted going to bed. But that was when I was really small...at the age of 16? Nah!!

I'd watch kissing scenes in movies whenever I was alone and start kissing an invisible girl. That was absolutely weird! I've had urges of jerking off whenever I watch sex scenes in movies but I resisted. "I can't do this on my own when I'm still virgin", I'd say.

As a teenager dedicated to writing down my wonderful imaginations in a book and calling them stories, I always wanted improving on my writing skills. So how did I do it? Well...I was a novel freak. I'd read novels, learn new ideas, new words, new expressions and enrich my vocabulary.

I also watched movies but wasn't a freak about them. I had the dream of making my stories movies, that would interest the whole world and probably, the aliens in the other planets...just kidding...lol!

But there was a movie that did achieve such...a movie that got the whole world talking. I was fazed by the whole situation. Like how would a movie I never loved be loved by people, it was so difficult to fathom the wonderful aura it brought to the world that I wasn't feeling. Well...maybe I had a bad taste, you know...the majority's choice is always better right?

* * *

Sanchez woke me up from sleep early in the morning on a wonderful day. It had to be a wonderful day...the fact you were still alive while lots of people were giving up their ghosts was a very good reason to call each day you see wonderful.

"Sleepy head! I've had my shower. Hurry up before we go late to school again", he frowned at me. I quickly got out of my bed to prepare for school. My brother had been the one waking me up for the past two weeks, ever since I began staying up late at nights, writing down something in my book...you know what I mean.

Don't worry bro, from my skillful writing, I'm gonna fetch lots of cash and compensate you for the stress. That was one of my goals.

As I was in the restroom, doing the needful things, Sanchez picked up my book I must have pushed away from the bed while asleep and began reading my new story. He was the only playboy I knew that read stories. He was reading my book at that moment to keep himself busy while he waited for me, but he really enjoyed what he read, I bet you!

* * *

We were in our driver's vehicle, the one my Dad employed. Don't take it seriously...lol! I was from a middle class home. We only had a car which our parents used to drive with to work. We were actually in a cab, heading to school.

My brother was completely engrossed in his phone. Prolly searching for the latest Hollywood movie that had been released...he was the movie freak.

"The next movie we should anticipate is King Arthur", he said to me and I nodded my head as though I was even interested in what he was saying. Things hardly got my attention then, only writing and novels...not even the school I was going to.

"Have you heard of this movie that was released two weeks ago. The Witch?", he asked, pronouncing the movie's title in such a way to lure my interest over.

"Uhmmm...No!", I replied vaguely, shaking my head.

"You're missing out on a lot of things really. Here's the official image of the movie", he gave me his phone.

I gotta say, the image was beautifully designed. I saw two girls of my age and from their dressing, I could easily tell who the protagonist and antagonist were.

"I know the witch, she's Shalom Kehr, the leading character of the movie Alien Girl", I said. She was the antagonist.

"Yeah! But she isn't the protagonist and leading character in The Witch, it's the other damsel by her right", my brother gestured for me to check out for her name in the image.

"Lucia Greens", I read.

"She's very talented in acting. That's just her first movie and as a starring character, she showed her worth", Sanchez praised her acting.

"You're right dude!", the driver joined in the conversation, "She's extremely beautiful and very talented. America's talking about her at the moment."

I looked outside, through the window wondering if I'd become a big time introvert that I wouldn't know the person America was talking about.

* * *

I got into my classroom and saw my classmates all gathered in various groups. What could they be talking about? I wanted to find out so I could decide the group I'd join before the teacher would come in...something I hardly do.

"What are you guys talking about?", I asked the first group.

"Have you heard of The Witch? That movies epic. Lucia Greens will be a great actress", replied the one that was narrating the film to the rest. I simply sighed and walked away. I wouldn't want to join a group I won't be able to contribute anything to at all.

It was when I was about interrupting another group I found out the whole class was talking about the movie. I didn't join any group then...I only sat on my chair waiting patiently for the teacher to step into the class.

Shortly after, the teacher walked in and everyone dispersed to their respective seats. "Good morning class...I'm sorry for coming late", he apologised. I brought out my book and pen, ready to learn physics.

* * *

I finally got to watch the movie that had every single person talking about it, that same day when I got home, in my brother's laptop. The movie ended and they were displaying the cast. I admit, Lucia's acting was wonderful, but there was nothing special in the movie I saw.

"How's the movie?", asked my bro.

I shrugged off my shoulders;"Lucia's acting was cool but I saw nothing special in the movie."

"Why did I even ask? I knew your taste buds are not in a good condition and I still asked", he mocked me, slightly annoyed.

"You admire the beauty of Lucia and Shalom...just that. I know you don't even like the movie a single bit", I replied sharply at him.

"Oh God!", he covered his face with his hand in disappointment, "I love the movie besides the girls. It has a creative content", he argued. I wanted saying something but he interrupted. "For the past four months, you've been behaving as though nothing impresses you anymore. Give it a break bro", he walked off.

He made sense in what he said though. Like if I'm not mistaking, that day made it exactly four months I decided to harden my heart because of how I always would be emotionally derailed after feeling rejected by a girl whenever I propose to one.

Things hardly got appreciated by me. If I say thank you to someone, I'm only saying it for the sake of good behavior.

But for that movie? I don't think I'd love it in any condition I'm in. I mean...it's not a bad movie, but I couldn't see anything special in it. I felt it was honest judgement from me.

I shutdown his laptop and left it there. I got up and went into my room.

Nothing impresses Jorge in life...only his novels and other novels

Lucia that's got the whole America talking doesn't seem to interest him.

Quick question: Do you think the behavior of Jorge is justified because of heartbreaks from girls?

Chapter 3 First Encounter With Lucia

I remember clearly Lucia's plans to relocate...she wanted moving from New York to Los Angeles. It wasn't for business purposes though, her parents had just bought a new home over there...a very luxurious home to be precise...more than a five star hotel. Her parents were already stinking rich before her invasion into the movie industry.

Their house workers were moving down the tens of gigantic boxes that had all the clothes of the Greens through the stairs. Lucia had an infant brother then, he was only two years old then.

The Greens were seated in the living room as the workers did their thing. Lucia was having her pedicure...from one of their female workers. The pomposity she carried was something else.

"I don't like the way my big toe's like, it's not polished like the rest", she complained.

"I'm on it right away", the worker picked up the nail polisher.

"Where's our pooch?", Lucia's Mum called on a worker that was walking past them.

"It's having its bath right now Ma", he replied. He left after a while, when she asked no more questions.

Lucia was now done with her pedicure and the worker walked away, taking the make-up box with her. Lucia admired her toe nails. "They're really beautiful", she remarked.

"Have you decided on the high school you'll be attending at LA?", her Dad questioned her.

"Yes Dad! I made up my mind last night", she replied. She took a selfie of herself and snapped her toe nails. "Got some photos to upload baby!", she exclaimed.

Her parents looked at each other and shook their heads in disappointment. They could see their Lucia's obsession with her phone gradually becoming a menace.

* * *

Lucia's Dad had a private plane...that was what they used to travel, with all their boxes also in the airplane. Mum and Dad sat down together with Mum feeding the baby with some cereals.

Lucia sat alone, her eyes on her cell phone at all time. She was on Instagram checking out the comments on her latest post, a recent picture she'd just taken in the plane, captioned, "Moving to LA permanently guys".

Their pilot walked in and informed them;"We're about to take off."

"Oh okay", Dad replied. He saw Lucia still making use of her phone. "Switch to airplane mode darling...we're about to take off."

"I'm on it Poppa", she replied and did just that. She then decided to play games on her phone.

* * *

I was in my study room...also where I wrote my stories most of the time. I was busy writing down a story when my brother barged into the room in excitement.

"Hey Jorge! Guess what...Lucia Greens just posted on Instagram she's moving down to LA permanently", he jumped in the air out of happiness. My brother had never done because of a female...like he always had girls around him to choose from. What was so special in Lucia Greens? Because she was a celeb?

"LA's a big place dude. She moving down to here doesn't mean you'll get to see her one day", I replied vaguely at him, feeling it would make him come back to his senses.

"But what if we get to see her almost everyday?", he nodded his head at me, like a lizard with a happy but a stupid face.

"We?", I asked, mainly to make him really know I wasn't interested in seeing Lucia in person a single bit.

"Sorry...IMPORTANT PERSON", he mocked me.

"Please I'd like to go on with my writing if you don't mind", I didn't want to be bothered by what he'd said to me.

"I miss the old you a lot bro", he said to me and walked off. I looked at him as he left, what he said actually touched me. But no...I didn't want to be heartbroken another time, so I kept on with the behavior.

The next day, we did all the preparations for school except having our breakfast...my bro and I hated going to school late.

"You guys should have something...at least something little before heading off to school", my mum looked at us intently.

"Okay Mum!" We ran into the kitchen and got a food flask each. We ran out of the kitchen and turned our food into the flasks and closed it.

"Bye Mum! We both ran out of the house in a hurry. My mum prolly must had been finding it difficult to fathom the behavior we showcased before leaving.

* * *

We were in a cab as usual, being driven off to school. I began having the feeling I'd sneeze and tried holding it back. Didn't like sneezing in public, it made me feel imperfect. I know everyone's not perfect but...I don't know, I felt that way.

Just when I thought I won't sneeze in the cab, it came back suddenly. I sneezed unexpectedly, not even quick enough to cover my nose. I felt ashamed and inclined towards the window, looking outside to avoid seeing the driver prolly looking at me.

Gesundheit!", my brother giggled. That was another way to say bless you when one sneezes. I turned to say thank you but what I saw got me fazed.

Sanchez was way too happy for it to be usual. I could clearly see sense be was in a state of frenzy, I could guess he must had found out Lucia Greens was coming over to our school, I clearly saw her picture on his phone as he agreed with so much intent.

"Wild guess...Lucia's going to be schooling in our school right?", I said to him vaguely, mainly because I felt it wasn't true and possible.

"Lucia's uploaded a post on her Facebook page. She'll be coming over to our school and then decide if she'll school here or not", Sanchez screamed the second sentence to me.

Woah! I could hardly believe it. Of all high schools, it was ours she chose to check out first. It wasn't even an expensive school. I was lost in my thinking until my bro brought me back to myself.

"What are you thinking about Jorge?", he asked me with a grin.

"Nothing important", I replied, "Just wondering why she chose our school when there are certainly more expensive schools around", I scratched my head to make him know I was really thinking about it.

"I don't know and I don't care", he replied, "Don't you get the good news I'm telling you?", he looked at me in amazement.

"Well...I do. Your celeb crush in the same school you are in is such a good news", I felt like ribbing him.

"She could help me act and get me into the movie industry with my acting skills", he explained to me, totally ignoring what I said.

"Yeah that's true. I hope she loves your acting bro. For me...I love it", I tried to make him happier.

"Thanks bro! I really appreciate", he replied with a smile. There was silence then until we got to school.

* * *

We both arrived the school and I noticed every single person involved in a chitchat in groups all over the school. I knew something special was happening at the moment. Sanchez left me for his friends to find out if his dream was true.

I was able to see the only person I'd call a friend then, shortly after. His name is Billy. We had our signature handshake and I asked him what was going on.

"The latest famous actress in Hollywood, Lucia Greens came to school today. She wants to school here", he replied with both hands in his pockets. I could clearly observe the happiness on his face. I turned round and I saw the whole school, even the staff were delighted.

"Follow me", he held my hand and dragged me along. We went to the school's walkway...where all the lockers were.

"The last time I checked, she was in the principal's office. Let's wait here", Billy said to me. I had no choice but to listen...we are best friends after all. There were other students in different groups, all enthusiastic in seeing Lucia come out.

Lucia shortly after, walked out of the principal's office alongside a bouncer. The principal came out after them. His gawky behavior made it obvious he was also a big fan of Lucia. Everyone, including Billy, ran to meet Lucia and prolly get her autograph but the bouncer stood on their way, signalling at everyone to back off. They all were calling her name but she gave them deaf ears.

"What a proud girl!", I thought and squeezed my face in irritation.

"Let's check out the school Sir", she said to my principal.

"Of course!", he gestured for her to walk forward, "Ladies first", he smiled cheekily. They walked off, the students still calling on her name.

Uh! Ain't you guys clearly being ignored? Why still call on her name? My school though...always annoyingly awkward when it came to having celebs around.

After the walk round the school, Lucia was in the principal's office with him. Her bouncer stood outside, in front of the closed door, preventing every fidgeting and happy person from getting into the office.

"Your school's nice. The environment's neatly kept...the school generally is beautiful naturally", Lucia remarked, in her usual pompous way. The principal didn't mind that...he was also a big fan and besides, he was joyous as heard the remarks from Lucia.

"But I don't like the wall paintings...they're way too gaudy", she pointed at the walls for him to see.

The principal expressed concern. "I'll make sure I repaint them to what you like", he promised, adjusting his neck tie feeling nervous he wasn't dressed perfectly.

"Repaint them to what I like?", she laughed over it, "You shouldn't repaint your school just because I felt its paintings are gaudy", she shook her head in amusement.

"But not repainting it could make you change your mind schooling here right?", the principal slightly turned pale.

"No! I never said I won't school here. I've heard a lot of things about this school. You guys always boast of one of the best sets of students in schools, always boasting of good grades. I'm a fan of education and good grades so...I'm in", she nodded her head.

"Yes!", the principal jumped up from his seat in excitement. He realised his faux pas and clumsiness when he saw Lucia totally startled at what he had just done.

"Uhmmm...sorry", he cleared his throat and wore a serious look. He sat down and adjusted his already perfectly worn neck tie.

He joined his hands together and placed on table, holding a pen. "So what's your age and what grade were you before moving down here?", he asked.

Lucia waved away from her mind what had happened and replied casually;"Well...I'm 16 years of age and I was in Grade 11 in my previous school."

"That's it. We'll go through the necessary things to be done so you could begin schooling here", the principal spoke, tapping on the table with his pen.

"Okay Sir...can't wait", she replied cool-headedly.

A knock was heard on the door and the principal asked for who it was. Lucia's bouncer opened the door, with his head alone being seen, peeping in.

"A man named Mr Wallace said you want to see him", he informed the principal.

"Yes! Yes! Let him come please", he replied.

Before the bouncer could turn, Mr Wallace barged into the office and stuck out his tongue at him childishly. Mr Wallace turned to the principal and greeted. He also greeted Lucia, fidgeting in happiness on seeing her. The principal was feeling embarrassed and cleared his throat loudly and weirdly for Mr Wallace to comport himself sanely.

"I had a feeling you were in Grade 11 before having this conversation. So I sent for Mr Wallace...he's a proprietor of Grade 11, Arm D...that's going to be your class."

The principal turned to Mr Wallace. "He's one of the best teachers in our school...so I guarantee you sound learning under his custody", he assured Lucia.

"That's exactly what I wanted to hear", she then turned behind to face Mr Wallace, "Let's get going to my new class then."

* * *

In my class, we were a lil bit noisy because the teacher was absent. A person was chitchatting with at least a person in the class. I was having a good time gist with my best buddy Billy.

The teacher, Mr Wallace walked into the class so suddenly and we all kept quiet. He left the door wide open. I could see the happiness on his face as he spoke to us.

"We got a new student guys", he said, with his hands in his pockets. We all murmured amongst ourselves, wondering who was gonna be the one. I had a feeling it was gonna be Lucia but I didn't want to believe so.

"Come in please", Mr Wallace bowed towards the door. The person slowly walked into the class and we all got shocked...it was Lucia!! Everyone but me wanted jubilating I was still taken aback by everything.

"Shhh!", Mr Wallace stopped them from doing so, gesturing for everyone to stay calm, "I know we should be celebrating but we can't disturb the school", he gave out a wide smile.

Everyone comported quietly as Lucia walked to the center and stood in front of the class. "Hello everyone", she waved at us with a smile.

"Hello Lucia", all but me responded. I just didn't feel like saying anything...you could call it pride.

The principal barged into the class and instructed Mr Wallace to follow him.

"I'm leaving guys...please stay quiet", he pleaded. He and the principal both left us alone in the class with Lucia.

With how she addressed us earlier with a smile, I was beginning to have a lil good impression about her. "Well...seems she's a lil bit not gruff like I felt she would", I thought. You know celebs and their usual pomposity whenever they meet ordinary people right?

The lil good impression I had just felt about her soon went down the drain...almost immediately though. She looked for a seat that was unoccupied and began walking on that lane to the seat. I felt she was actually gonna sit down there but guess what happened!

She stopped by a dude's seat and gazed down at him. I felt sorry for the dude that day...he looked up at her, forcing himself to hide his excitement...though not completely perfect. He prolly felt a movie star was crushing on him especially when Lucia gave him a sarcastic looking smile. He smiled back, not knowing what was going to transpire almost immediately from then.

"Go over to that seat...I wanna be sitting here from now on", she quickly changed to a frowning face.

The dude got confused and looked back. "But I don't like sitting at the back", he replied, swallowing his bravery. He felt he shouldn't have spoken back at her. That was how he was, always very timid.

"Get your ass off this seat and go over there dummy", she demanded again. The guy didn't argue and began putting his books into his backpack.

People around him supported Lucia and told him to get up when they saw he was slow in doing so and Lucia was getting angrier. They spoke to him calmly though, unlike the queen of pride. The dude left the seat and went to the one at the back.

Lucia then took over the seat, sitting down. Plenty people surrounded her immediately, some asking for autographs, the rest asking her random silly questions. She replied to them because she felt they were COOL!

The boys and girls who felt they would be ignored especially after seeing what happened to the dude earlier remained on their seats. Even Billy and I reminded on our seats. I know I was never one of the hottest guys, biggest guys in school but I didn't remain on my seat because of guilty conscience, I remained there because I hated what she did to that dude. I was developing hatred for her at that point.

I felt bad for that dude really. His name is Bruce. I know he was a nerd that had some insane behaviors. He was picking his nose almost all the time...that was what he was doing actually. Maybe that was what made Lucia saw him as not cool and treated him that way. Asides that, he was not good at dressing...I gotta be honest. His taste for fashion was very bad.

But I don't think he deserved such, no matter what! Nobody deserved such treatment but Lucia did that to him and people around supported her. This was what made me to really hate her in person then. I looked at her with a frown on my face.

Ooooooh! That's really rude from Lucia right?

From the lil good impression Jorge had, it has now become hatred.

I wonder what he's gonna do to Lucia now...

Quick question: How would you treat anyone that feels he or she is important?
