"Angie, get up already or you'll be late for school," Mama shouted. I woke up immediately and headed straight to the bathroom to wash up and brush my teeth.

Afterward, I went to the kitchen and saw Mama preparing food. "Go ahead and eat, then take a shower after," she said. I just nodded before eating.

I'm Angie Khale Novestra, the most beautiful girl in the world, just kidding. I'm eighteen years old, in grade 12, and about to go to college soon. My mom works at a café, and she's a single mother.

Yes, a single mother. Mama said my dad left her when she was pregnant with me. I don't know if I should be angry or sad about what Papa did. Wherever Papa is, he's probably happy with his new family now.

After eating, I quickly took a shower. In a few minutes, I was done and dressed in my uniform, carrying my bag downstairs to wear my shoes.

"Angie, here's your 500 pesos allowance. Sorry if this is all I can give you for now. You know we're tight on money, and my salary from work is not enough. I hope you understand, especially since your dad left us," Mama said, her eyes teary. I hugged Mama tightly when I saw her crying.

"Good morning, Ate Sonya, hi Angie," I quickly interrupted Mama and said goodbye, telling Mama that we're leaving so we won't be late for school.

Ashley and I always go to school together. "Do you have money with you?" she asked. I nodded in response. "How much?" she asked again.

"500 pesos. I'll use 100 pesos for fare, and I'll bring the rest. I'll save the 300 pesos for tomorrow," I replied. She nodded and we waited for the tricycle to school.

When we got on the tricycle, Ashley talked to me. "Do you know the news last night? The professor said Doc Villavente left for Singapore. It's a shame Doc Villavente is leaving our school."

Doc Villavente is kind to us. Whenever a student feels dizzy or has a headache, he sends them home immediately. "Doc Villavente is really nice to us. Oh well, they'll have to find a replacement for him," she said sadly.

"Who's replacing Doc Villavente?" I asked, curious.

"I'm not sure, but they said the one replacing Doc Villavente is... wait, let me check my messages," she opened her phone and checked. "It says Doc... Ace Oliver Saxvora, but they haven't posted his picture yet." So a guy is replacing Doc Villavente?

"Kids, we're here at school, it's 10 pesos per student," the driver said. We gave him the money and entered the school.

As we entered, we found students whispering to each other.

Madam Principal asked, "Do you know each other?" Ashley replied, "No, Mrs. Davis, we just met yesterday at the market. She almost got assaulted by three men, so she ran and bumped into me." Ashley then recounted the incident where she narrowly escaped being assaulted by three men. In the flashback, she rejected their advances and managed to flee, but ended up colliding with a stranger. The stranger, who turned out to be a doctor, intervened and prevented the assault. Ashley's mother arrived, expressing gratitude to the doctor for his help. The flashback ends, and the principal instructs Ashley to give the doctor a tour of the school. As they leave, Ashley's friend wishes her luck, and the doctor confirms he's finished checking something with Miss Novestra.

Madam Principal asked, "Do you know each other?" Ashley replied, "No, Mrs. Davis, we just met yesterday at the market. She almost got assaulted by three men, so she ran and bumped into me." I quickly averted my gaze. "Sorry, doc," I said as I sat down, startled when he touched my hair.

"It's okay. So, where should we start?" he asked. I took him outside the school, not near the road but just to the school's exit.

"At around 7:50, the guard closes the gate so students can't leave. During breaks, the gate isn't opened either, as per the principal's orders. Students are only allowed to leave for lunch and dismissal, but elementary students are dismissed first before high school and college," I explained.

We also have elementary and high school here at St. Peter University School, and elementary students are always dismissed before high school and college. "Also, it's prohibited to linger in that area, as the principal strictly forbids it," I added.

"I have a question, are you the student council president of this university school? Or something else?" Doc asked, and I shook my head.

"No, I'm not the student council president here at the university. I'm usually the one designated by the principal to give tours to visitors," I replied to his question, which was true as I'm always assigned by the principal.

"Okay, let's continue," he said. We began the tour inside, going from one place to another, explaining various areas.

"Here is our schoolyard where students can play sports of their choice, and over there is the swimming pool, which is currently closed to students. Any questions, doc?" I said, relieved that the tour was over.

"Questions? Hmmm, are you tired?" My smile faded when he asked that. Yes, doc, I'm very tired. Who wouldn't be tired after two hours of wandering around? "Hey! I'm asking you. I thought it was 'any questions'? Now, are you tired?" he brought me back to reality.

"Uh, no, I'm not tired yet, hehe. Are you tired, doc?" I asked him before laughing nervously.

"I'm not tired. Wait," he said, checking his cellphone. "It's 11:23, and we've been touring for 3 hours now. Are you hungry?" he asked me.

"I-I'm not hungry yet, doc, and my friend Ashley and I are going to eat together," I stuttered, feeling weak whenever we make eye contact.

"Liar," he chuckled. "Well, I don't want to hear that phrase 'I'm not hungry yet.' Remember, I'm a doctor, and it's bad for your body not to eat even if you're not hungry," he said sternly.

I agreed to eat and reluctantly took the food he bought. "Do you have a lunch box?" I nodded at him but avoided his gaze.

"Good afternoon, doc," I greeted Ashley as she approached. "Are you done with the tour?"

"Yeah, we're done, and also, you can ask your friend to eat, even if they're full or hungry. But if they've already had breakfast, they can skip lunch," he said. I agreed and said I would eat.

He looked at me while smiling. "Especially, it's bad not to eat, whether you're full or hungry. It damages your intestines," he said before excusing himself and leaving.

"Where did you get those biscuits and Chuckie? Oh, I know, they're from doc, right? He gave them to you for free," Ashley said. I nodded in agreement.

"Yes, but I initially declined, but he insisted. I told him I'm full," I said as I looked at the food Doc gave me.

"Ouch," I winced as Ashley pinched my side. "That hurts. What did I do?" I glared at her.

"Why did you refuse the food he gave you? Hey, didn't you hear what Doc said? It's bad to have an empty stomach; it'll damage your intestines," she said in a somewhat bossy tone.

"Come on, let's go to the room so we can eat. It's a good thing Doc treated you to food," she said, urging me to follow her.

ANGIE POV

"Angie collect all papers" I immediately collected their papers before I gave them to ma'am martinez our math teacher. "Everybody quiet" We all kept quiet and waited for our score as he checked our papers one by one.

After a few hours, he finished checking the papers. "Everybody clap three times to miss angielyn khale novestra, miss ashley cruz and veronica oñiren, they got their highest score" They immediately applauded.

"I mean it's really not allowed because you're too young to have a boyfriend, am I right Miss Novestra" I don't know why I just nodded at what he said.

We haven't been together for a long time but we have already said our goodbyes and maybe the high schoolers have already been sent out.

AUTHOR POV

"We're first mom" Sonya's son waved before leaving, when his son left he sat down sadly. He allegedly lied to his son because of his real father.

Angie's father did not go with another family but the truth is that Sonya left Angie's father because the father of her future husband did not want him. "Forgive me, son, if I lied to you, but when will we get away from your father" cried Sonya.

"Forgive me but I have to stay away from your father because of our conversation with his father, I love my father very much but he is getting married that I don't know" He added.

FLASHBACK

FEB 7, 1993 / 12:34 PM ( AT ADDISON'S FAMILY )

"W-don't let's go, benedict, maybe your family won't like me" said the girl Sonya nervously, the young man grabbed the girl's hand.

"Don't worry I'm here for you and I know they will like you" The young man kissed the girl's forehead before they went down, the young man noticed Benedict's trembling body so he immediately took her waist and kissed her on the forehead .

"Don't be nervous love remember I am here for you" He just secretly smiled at the young man then decided to enter the masion, they caught up with three women dressed as maids.

Just in time, the young man's mother arrived and they greeted him. "Oh my gosh you here, your daddy and I have been waiting for you in the dinning room, oh she must be sonya your girlfriend. Ayy hi ija you are so pretty and you are perfect for my daughter" He hugged the girl sonya.

"Mom don't be scared her" He immediately glared at her before hitting her. "Ouch!

The two are getting married soon and they are very excited. "I'll be right back love after my work, bye baby daddy going to work first and I am excited to touch you and hug you" The young man touched the girl's stomach.

her husband is going to his work to finish what needs to be finished. "If you hungry then tell manang to prepare for your food, bye love" He kissed it on the forehead, nose and lips.

When he left, a maid met him. "Madam, señorito is calling you to his room, he wants to talk to you and he says it's important" The maid bowed and the girl nodded.

The girl headed up the stairs and when she got to where she was, she first looked at the name posted on the door.

It knocked three times. "Come in" The girl immediately entered and closed the door before approaching where the man was busy focusing on the laptop.

"Uncle, are you calling me?" The man closed his laptop and stood up from where he was sitting and took a briefcase and a paper stack and slammed it on the table.

"90 million to leave my son, I don't want you from my son since my son brought you here. this paper is a divorce paper sign it and I will tell Benedict about it, hurry and sign it then take this 90 million pack it and leave my house" He coldly explained to her.

"I'm sorry uncle but I can't accept this 90 million and sign the divorce paper, in fact I love your son and we're about to get married and we'll have a son" said the girl.

The man frowned. "Then drop what's in your womb and the conversation is over, sign this paper and pack it and leave my house with the 90 million" The man argued.

"Alright, I'll let you think before you sign the divorce paper" The man added as the girl bowed.

"If that's what you want, I'll sign the divorce paper"....

ANGIE POV

"It's like big brother" Ashley and I immediately got off and entered the school, we met some students who were making noise. "What is that noise this morning?" We ignored the noise around us and went straight to the classroom.

Before we entered the classroom, we caught up with doc saxvora leaning near our classroom. "Doc saxvora you came here, what do we mean?" Ashley asked as the doc turned around before smiling.

"I am here because of miss angie" Ashley looked at me but I thought it was the doc, he took something from his pocket and there I saw a bracelet. I didn't immediately notice it in my hand. "I think this is yours? you drop this while you're on your way home, I try to give you this yesterday but you might be left" He added.

"T-thankyou doc" I immediately took the bracelet staka and put it in my pocket, he smiled at me before squeezing my cheek and he left completely.

"Looks like everyone is going to be a dad now. hope it's all huhuhu" I didn't pay attention to my friend but I looked behind and saw the doc talking to a student. "Hey! Maybe the doc will melt when you look at it, so don't be jealous of that and he's just talking about it" I immediately hit it.

"Are you going to make me jealous? ehh if I hit you, ehh that's where I'm surrounded by you" I just continued to enter the classroom.

"That hurts ah, what a waste of grace and you think his face is so handsome, especially with muscle oh, don't agree yarn" I just glared at him and it's a good thing our classmates aren't there yet but I'm having issues because of this one.

"Wait me here, I'm just going to buy some peanuts" Oliver said to his friend Clark.

"After we're done, are we going straight to the hospital?" He asked her friend.

"Fifty is a plastic ijo" Answered the old man. "How many are you?" The old man added.

"Five plastic bags" The old man immediately nodded and put it in a large plastic bag that would fit five plastic bags. While the young man was waiting, two young women were whispering and looking at him.

He went straight to the crosswalk and he had to cross the other side because his friend's car was there. he was about to cross when a woman bumped into him. "Ouch" He looked at the woman.

"Are you okay?" The young man asked the girl "Who are you looking at?" He was surprised when he went straight behind the young man and three men came.

"Hey! Give us that girl"

"Yes, give it to us when we own it"

"If you are a child, where did you wander, where are you from?" The young man looked at a lady who was anxious to see her son. "I'm going to have a heart attack because of you, where did you come from, I told you to wait for me, I didn't say leave me" The young man added.

"Sorry if I interrupt, your daughter was almost raped by three men earlier so she ran away. It's a good thing I helped her don't worry ma'am the three men were caught" The young man explained.

the child KATHERINE has a brain tumor and stage four cancer, she was in grade one when her illness started and did not finish her studies. Because of the young man's help, OLIVER was helped to quickly operate on the child.

within three years the young man became close to the child who is said to be a kind, hardworking and intelligent child. when the young man came out, he was immediately greeted by a nurse. "Doc saxvora, you are the only one waiting in the meeting room"....

"Okay" He immediately came to a door where the meeting room was, he met another doctor and especially his dad who is the head admin of the hospital.

"Oh you here oliver come here and sit down your 3 minutes late but it's okay" The young man immediately sat down on the left side of the chair. "Are all complete? Okay since your here oliver since nurse dela santos said you just visited the patient" The young man nodded.

"Yes dad and I am sorry for late today" answered the young man.

"It's okay but before going to meeting I just wanna talk to about your transfer to school" The young man looked at his father curiously. "Doc Villavente is officially on leave in St. Peter University School and you will take over as the doctor of that school" said his father directly.

"Why did Doc Villavente leave?" The young man asked.

"He went to another country to become a doctor and I don't know what parts of America he went to, but the one who took over from Doc Villavente, Mrs. Davis texted about your transfer to that school" Line said his father.

"And she said that a trusted student will give you a tour of the school" His father added, the young man was surprised to be handed a folder. "That's the name of the person who will give you a tour of the school and who Mrs. Davis entrusted with it" He added.

when he opened it he was surprised to see a woman he had seen before. "Angielyn Khale Novestra" He mentioned the girl's name. "Dad I met her earlier in the market, I help her because someone's trying to rape her" The young man added.

"Doc, you have a visitor" The nurse answered.

"Who" answered the young man.

"She said her name is Sabrina" The young man frowned because of what the nurse said. "Ano po papaso-" The young man didn't finish what the nurse had to say before the young man spoke.

"Let him go, I'm busy" The young man immediately sat down and took the papers from his father that had been given earlier after the meeting.

"My love loves I miss you-" The young man pulled away as he suddenly hugged her and he was surprised why he entered. "Why? you don't miss me" Sad manner of the girl Sabrina.

"What are you doing here sabrina? I told nurse gurcal to leave I don't need you. Nurse gurcal let her go" The young man shouted when he got inside, when the nurse grabbed the girl and pushed her. "Sabrina, what have you done" He was angry.

"She tries to pull me, why don't you want to believe that I have never had sex with others. They try to... They want to destroy our relationship then, please listen to me Oliver" The young man let go of the hand of the one holding him this.

"Oh doctor saxvora I'm glad you're here, come to our office first" The young man immediately followed the principal and they entered the door not far away. "Do you have anything else to do doc saxvora?" The young man asked.

"I won't do anything" answered the young man.

"Good to hear that doc saxvora have a take a sit, I will call one of my favorite students here at the school oh he is here. Angie come here" The principal pulled the girl Angie and the young man felt relieved to see the girl

It was as if the tiredness of the flight disappeared. "Angie this is Do Ace Oliver Saxvora he will replace Doc Villavente, Doc this is Angielyn Khalw Novestra on of my favorite students in here" The young man stared at the girl as if she was shy.

"Nice to meet you again miss angielyn" The principal was surprised because of what was said.

"Do you know each other?" Mrs. Davis asked.

"Nope Mrs Davis we bumped yesterday at the market, she was about to be raped by three men so she ran and bumped into us" The young man explained.

"It's good that you know each other like that, he's like, you're going to give the doc a tour of this whole school" They immediately went out and the girl's friend said goodbye.

"Hey! I'm still talking to the doc, this is rude" The young man smiled because of the girl's look, after a few minutes he noticed three men who approached the girl.

"Hi beautiful can I make a request?"

"Tell me bro you're stupid"

"Yes, you're stupid, you just have to say it"
