"Um... it hurts, please... don't..."

Pain filled her whole body as she ached so bad, and I shouted and begged vaguely... but I knew this was destined to be a painful night.

The sun lights up the room and the feel of harsh light made me whine and slowly I fluttered my eyes open, I turned around and glanced at the lamp stand next to my side, it felt strange.

My hands felt the soft mattress under me and I figured it wasn't my bed, I glanced up at the ceiling and discovered I was in a strange room.

Sitting up immediately, I glanced around, and saw the clothes scattered about all over the floor, my clothes were laying there, and my heart instantly fell into the abyss, glancing down at my skin, I gasped.

I was naked and the pain was coming from my body, and the torn pain from a certain position and it made me figured out everything instantly.

My eyes dilated. "It wasn't a dream," My head buzzed as I figured it actually happened last night, I glanced around the room and hot tears rolled down my cheek.

I was still in thought when I heard a loud bang on the door, I quickly grabbed the quilt on the bed to pull over my naked breast, but before I could reach for the quilt, the door was pushed open and the two people I didn't want to see walked into the room.

It was my boyfriend Henry and Kelly who had walked into the room and my eyes met Henry's gaze, it was filled with shock, my heart raced in my heart, and the tears in my eyes fell.

He glanced at my naked skin with shock in his eyes, I quickly grabbed the quilt and covered my chest, my lips parted to say a word, but I couldn't spit any out, my lips trembled and I watched his eyes dart to the scattered clothes on the floor.

"Katherine, how could you do such a thing?!" Anger flashed in his eyes and he jumped on the bed and grabbed me by the neck, I couldn't breathe, but I didn't struggle with him.

"Who did you sleep with?" He was so furious, his eyes were aflame. "Say it!" He shouted when I couldn't say a word, but what do I have to say, i had no idea who I was with, or who I did it with.

I shook my head and struggled to respond. "I don't know, I don't know what happened last night and I don't know how I got here or why." Tears rolled down my cheek, hitting his hand that held my neck.

His cold eyes swept the harsh marks on my body, and I saw the mocking smile that curved up on his lips and in his eyes, I could tell he didn't believe any word I said.

"You don't?" He sneered and left my neck, disappointed filled his features. "They all said you were a pure person, but you are just a slut," He said the words that crushed my heart.

"Look at the hickey on your body." He pointed at the nape of my neck. "And right now I feel so disgusted at the thought of you being defiled by another man." His nostrils wrinkled in disgust as he looked at me with a frown on his face and every words he said poked my heart like thorn and a weak pain made me unable to breathe.

He was still furious, grabbing hold of my hair, he slapped me across the face and my cheek felt sore. "If you don't me to make this famous then disappear from my sight forever, or I will make your life worst than death!" He gritted his teeth and clenched his jaw.

In his eyes was the hatred I have never seen in my whole life, his words were like the curse of death and the pain from my head where he grabbed my hair almost made me faint, but he finally pushed me down on the bed and left with his eyes filled with disgust.

At this time, my eyes darted to Kelly who should have come to my rescue, but I watched her cover her mouth with her hands and I heard her chuckle. "Sister, are you satisfied with the birthday present I gave you last night?" She asked mockingly.

My eyes dilated and my heart raised in my chest again, thinking back on last night, I looked at her with wide eyes. "It was you." My lips trembled and my eyes flickered again to her. "You did this to me last night."

My lips parted and I felt betrayed, thinking about how Kelly had made me drink at the birthday party last night, I felt something was wrong, but I didn't think all these would be her fault from the beginning, because although we are half-sisters, our relationship has been good.

I watched Kelly step forward, she narrowed her eyes slightly and her lower lips curled up. "What does my silly sister think?" She raised the corner of her brows with a smirk on her lips.

"Why?" Tears rolled down my cheek, my heart churn at this betrayal. "Why are you doing this to me?' I gnashed my teeth, I could not contain the anger in my heart so I rushed up from the bed and scratched her in the face, now all Kelly could think of was to tear apart from me.

I didn't care about my dignity right now, no, I have lost everything, my boyfriend didn't want to see me and I have also lost the most precious thing I have as a woman.

I knew Kelly didn't expect me to go crazy on her like this, I have jumped on her when she least expected and all she did was protect her face and kicked me back to the bed with her high heel and I felt the pain from the kick on my tummy.

"You crazy bit*h!" She said maliciously. "Don't you want to know why I did this to you?" She glared at me and I glared back with my hand on my aching tummy. "I will tell you." She adjusted her hair and locked gaze with me.

"I have endured you for a long time now, I couldn't do that anymore," I didn't understand what she meant, but I waited for her to continue since I was curious on what my offense had been.

"I watched my father love you very much since I was a child, but what did I do?" She gritted her teeth. "What did he give to me?" She beats her chest. "Everyone knows that Grey enterprise Inc. is the largest enterprise in Seattle and even in the whole United State, yet he tried to marry you into Grey family, but what about me?" Kelly said in pain. "What is his daughter in his eyes?"

Kelly glanced at me, I could see her trace the tears that rolled down my cheek, but she smiled, her smile was like that of a flower and said in a heavy voice. "You are a flower now," her lips parted. "but you will never marry Grey again, and I will be Henry's only wife."

I clutched the pain from her abdomen, staring at her with a pair of killing eyes, and my fingers holding the quilt. "Do you like him too?" I asked as I never knew all these things she had told me hurt her, she had always smiled at me and was happy for me, but now I realized it was all fake.

Kelly hooked her lips and looked at me like I was a fool. "Of course, he is the dude of the first rich family, which woman wouldn't like him?" She raised the corner of her brows. "To tell you the truth, Henry has always liked me and not you."

I curled my hand into fist, a throbbing vein appearing on my neck. "You planned all this together, didn't you?" I figured. "I won't let you go," I gritted my teeth. "And dad won't let you go either!" My featured was covered with hatred that I have never had before for Kelly, and in anger, I rushed to bite her.

This time, Kelly was ready, before I could bite her, she smashed me desperately on my head with her bag and her eyes flashed a touch of cruelty at me. "Unfortunately, you don't have this opportunity," I couldn't understand what she meant until she said the next words.

"I am afraid you will never see dad again and everything that you ever had would be mine in the future, including the whole Joey enterprise Inc."

Kelly laughed and pushed me back on the bed again, but then her foot seem to have stepped on something and she lowered her eyes to see a string of valuable pink bead lying at her feet, I traced her gaze and saw how it swept the beads greedily, then she picked them up and put it on her hand.

"It's not bad, even if you honor me!" She looked at me after admiring the bead that was now on her wrist, I didn't know where the bead came from as it wasn't mine, but know of that concerned me.

I was more concerned of what Kelly had said just now. "What do you mean when you said I would never see Dad again?"

Kelly shrugged and I could see how reluctant she was to give me an answer, she rather gave me a self-conscious look, and then turned and stepped on her high heels as she left the room.

I was puzzled, I wanted to get to my feet when I heard my cell phone ring, I turned around and spot my ringing cell phone, reaching for it, I answered and placed it on my ear.

On the other side of the line, Neil, my Dad's assistant, said eagerly. "Hey, Miss, the president... he..."

Thinking about Kelly's words, my heart thumped under my chest and a sense of panic I have never felt before hit me and I trembled. "Dad... Dad, what happened to him?" I quickly stood up not minding that I was naked.

"The president just had a heart attack now and he is--- he is dead." Neil informed me and the words 'death' was like a flash of lightning, and my head felt blank instantly.

In this world, my father was my only relative and I couldn't believe the fact that he has just past away, picking up my clothes, I jumped into them and rushed out of the room, the other pain in my body wasn't my concern anymore, but the ache in my heart grew deep.

I arrived at the hospital and saw my father's pale face, tears clustered in my eyes, he would never open his eyes or call me baby ever again, no matter how much I called out his name.

The most outrageous thing is that Kelly and her mother Rose were still crying sadly in front of his bed, I looked at them in anger. How can my father's death be so coincidental? Kelly had made a statement about me not having to see him again, and now I am afraid the both snakes and scorpions have been thinking about this day for a long time.

I was approaching the bed, but Rose got to her feet and slapped me across the face and I held my sore face and looked at her in shock wondering what I have done to deserve such.

"You are an unfilial daughter, and you dare show your face here!" She cursed and my eyes dilated as I have no idea what she meant. "Your father is angry with you." She pointed at my messy clothes and the hickey marks on my body and I raised my clothes to hide it to no avail. "Just look at you, it's shameless to learn to fool around with people at an early age!" She spat.

I felt so sad that no one would believe or hear from me before jumping into conclusion and cursing at me, but my eyes darted to Kelly who had filled them with the lies.

"You killed Dad!" Kelly also pushed me forward with obviously fake tears in her eyes. "I don't want you as a sister anymore!" She barked and glanced around. "Bodyguard!" She called out and some bodyguard arrived immediately. "Drag her out and never let her get close to us ever again!" Kelly ordered them.

My body that was already falling apart was pushed by Kelly and the pain hit me again, then the bodyguard seized me mercilessly and I had no strength to fight back, my legs were already too weak, so they threw me out of the hospital.

I stared at the hospital building in pain, aching all around, I have grown up in the palm of my father, but this sudden scene had made me almost desperate, and tears seems to be the only way to express my heartache at this moment.

I was about to turn around when suddenly a speeding car came by the side of the road, and before I could scream, the breeze blew across my face and long hair as the breath of death instantly approached me.

Katherine's POV

Five years later...

There is a news broadcast in the luxury first class of the plane bound for United State country.

"Roy, the richest man in the United States, I believe everyone knows better. He has maintained the title of the richest man in the world in recent years, but recently the masses questioned it and said that it is because Celeb, the richest man in the country, is low-key. If he is high-profile, he will win the title of the richest man in the world in minutes..."

"Katherine, do you think Celeb is richer or is Roy richer?" A delicate-looking child sitting next to me looked at me.

I looked at my son and gently stroked his hair with my hand. "How can I know who is wealthier?" I flashed him a smile. "It has nothing to do with me."

"Why doesn't it matter?" He pointed to the left of the two photos on the screen and I followed his little finger with my eyes. "Look, I found that I look quite similar to Celeb," I glanced from the image on the screen to my son.

"He could be my daddy!" My eyes dilated to hear him say that. "I don't care if Roy has nothing to do with you, it is okay to think about this other person." He pointed at Celeb. "He is quite handsome." He smiled with glitters in his eyes.

I was speechless, only following his little fingers to see the man on the screen again and I was a bit shock for a little while before blinking my eyes and coming out of my daze.

They really look similar

I mumbled and noticed Jack stare at my perplexed expression. "This Mr. Celeb can't really be my daddy, can he?" He raised the corner of him brows as his eyes darted to mine.

I could see in his eyes that he was joking with his words, but the look on my face had started getting him serious, so I let out a thin chuckle. "It's so possible that you think too much." I pat his hair slowly

Who is Celeb? He is not only a symbol of money and power, but also Henry's uncle.

I shook my head, I can remember when I was hurt by Kelly, I had been afraid that the man that night was just a vulgar man, but how could he be the father of my child?

Kelly, after seven years, are you alright? I questioned in my head, thinking back of that woman, my fingers clenched into fists. Kelly you owe me, and I would make you return everything back to me with interest! I gritted my teeth and looked out of the window.

Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Jack's little figure ran into the crowd waving at a young and elegantly dressed lady with smiles filled on his face as he called out in a loud voice. "Aunt Bella!"

Bella who had been waiting for us, turned in the direction of the sound and glanced at the child in the crowd, I saw the smile spread through her lips, she rushed up and embraced him, kissing and kissing him again on his white face.

"Jack, I haven't seen you in a month now, I miss you so much." She gazed at Jack that was in her arms an she slowly pinched his pink little face which was so cute and she wanted to ravage him hard.

I walked over and opened up my arms and hugged Bella tenderly. "How is the United State that you had to leave us for a whole month to be back here?" I asked her and she chuckled softly.

"It's very good here and I like it very much." She told me and refrained from the embrace. "It it weren't for you I wouldn't have been transferred to this amazing country and now I can see the handsome Jack's face often," She glanced down at Jack. "Jack, do you like it here?" She raised the corner of her brows.

Jack slowly nod his head in delight. "I like it wherever Katherine is." He pointed at me and I chuckled loudly, but his eyes tells me he was here for another purpose, possibly to find his father as from the start he believes his father would be in this country.

I pressed my lips remembering Celeb the richest man in this country who had been shown on the television on the plane. I shook my head at the thought of their resemblance and turned to Bella even with Jack's preying curious eyes staring at me.

"Son, you are so kind." I smiled, embracing my son, I kissed him so hard.

The car accident that happened when I was thrown out of the hospital by Kelly and her mother had left me in a vegetable state and I had unconsciously lay in the hospital bed for three year and by the time I woke up, I had seen jack and he had called me mother.

I had been surprised to hear that even at that state I gave birth to this beautiful child, it had been a beautiful accident and Jack has given me light and hope to live in this dark world.

"Let's go Katherine, Philip knows the news of your return, and he has personally set a table at the Sliver cloud Hotel to welcome you." Bella told me and I turned with a wide eye.

"Huh?" My lips parted. "I am just a little designer, isn't he exaggerating too much?" I didn't want to bother people like this, a homemade meal was good with me.

"What do you mean exaggerating?" Don't you know who you are?" Bella asked me with a large grin on her face. "Who dares not pay attention to you knowing the relationship you have with Roy?"

I glanced at Jack and quickly turned to Bella. "But, I have nothing to do with him." I said honestly. "I---"

"You don't like Roy?" Bella interrupted me before I could explain something else to her and I pressed my lips at her question. "I really don't know what you like Katherine," She shook her head at my silence. "Is there a better man than Roy in the world?" She threw another question to me again.

"Of course there is!" We both turned our eyes to Jack who suddenly spoke and Bella's brows were raised slightly. "My dad is!" A broad smile spread through his lips. "For example, Celeb, the richest man in the United State , I heard that he is more handsome and wealthier than Roy." His eyes locked gaze with mine.

"What?" I could see the shock in Bella's face. "Your daddy?" Bella glanced at me. "Celeb?" She turned to Jack, perplexed.

I blinked from the daze. "Why are you saying nonsense again?" I was also taken aback by what Jack had said and I gently patted his head in this distress situation. "How could he be your daddy?" I asked him and lets out a smile. "That is nonsense." I turned to the confused Bella.

Bella drew a sharp sigh of relief probably returning to her senses. "Jack, you scared me, how can Celeb be your daddy?" She looked down at Jack. "That would be too exhilarating."

"Why would it be?" Jack muttered and I saw the frown on his little face, I shook my head and slowly picked him up in my arms and Bella led us to the car she had brought with her.

As Bella drove us to the Silver Cloud Hotel shortly after leaving the airport, Jack excitedly pointed at a huge building towering into the sky that was next to the hotel.

"Look, it's a very beautiful mom, that building is so comparable to Roy's building!" Jack seemed so excited to see the beauty.

I turned in the direction he had pointed and I blinked looking at the arc-shaped commercial building standing like a king in the business district and the other buildings around him lost their color compared to it even if they were also huge.

I glanced down at my excited son and couldn't help but throw cold water on him and he turned to him with a frown on his face. "What if it's beautiful?" I jut my chin at him. "It's not yours!"

He looked at me with flat lips, I thought he wouldn't say anything, but he quickly found words. "Katherine, do you believe I can have such a beautiful building in the future and mine would be more domineering than that."

I was speechless as I gazed into his serious eyes, and I hugged him and smiled, although I personally felt it was unrealistic, yet I personally felt it was unrealistic, I could not continue to undermine my child's confidence.

"Jack, that building you see there is Roy's building and if you call him daddy, he will send it to you directly to you." Bella said jokingly.

Jack was speechless as he processed her words and suddenly his eyebrows furrowed. "You are both good and bad." He said.

"Why do you make fun of him?" I asked Bella and she shrugged and we both chuckled and I slowly pat Jack's hair and looked out of the window.

As the car drove over the overpass, my eyes fell on another familiar building in the downtown area, it was the former Joey enterprise Inc.

Her forehead creased as she recalled how they had taken away her father's life and everything from her. Kelly, you and Rose must return everything back to me and that day will not be long. Her eyebrows knitted and her eyes darkened.

Katherine's POV

At Silver Cloud Hotel, I met Philips, president of Haven enterprise Inc. Kananu Branch, he was Roy's good friend, a handsome man.

I could see the stunned expression in Mr. Philips eyes when he saw me, I smiled when he couldn't stop staring, I knew I was beautiful, I was always told that wherever I went over the past few years.

I have a delicate oval face, red lips as blood, I was charming but not gorgeous, charming, but not vulgar, and I didn't look like a woman who had a six year old child at all, I was looking so young and most times i think I was too pretty for anyone.

"Katherine, this is Mr. Philips, Philips, this is Katherine." Bella decided to introduce us since we were both staring at each other.

Mr. Philips took the initiative to reach out his hand and I could see the smile that spread through his lips and reached his eyes."Welcome to Seattle sister-in-law, I have heard Roy talk about you for a long time, but I didn't expect you to be this beautiful."

I was silent and a little bit embarrassed after hearing him call me sister-in-law, but it was hard to imagine that he and Roy were friends, after all, they both seem to have a big personality gap.

I politely held out my hand and received his handshake. "Mr. Philips, please call me by my name, Mr. Roy and I are not in the relationship you think and you will be my boss in the future." I corrected him.

I could sense the look in his eyes, he doesn't believe what I have earlier said about me and Roy having no relationship, I wanted him to believe it, but I guess I just have to do that through actions rather than words.

Mr. Philps glanced down at Jack who was silently standing next to me and he squatted and rubbed his little head. "Hey little guy, you are Jack right?" He asked with raised brows and a gently smile plastered on his lips. "I have heard about you for a long time."

Jack smiled and parted his lips to speak. "Hello, Mr. Philips, I have longed heard of you." Jack's voice was little and funny and it made Philip chuckle.

Philip glanced up at me with a smile. "Sister-in-law, your son is so lovely and he is as beautiful as you." He said to me and I realized he didn't want to change the way he addresses me, I wanted to correct him again, but before I could, my son's voice interrupted me.

"Mr. Philips, I am handsome, not beautiful," His words made Philip to turn to him with big eyes. "And, you can't call Katherine sister-in-law, what if you are misunderstood?" He was too clever and most time I wonder who he took his sharp tongue from.

I thought Mr. Philip would get angry, but although he frowned, he couldn't help bursting into laughter again, jack was really helpless.

After lunch, I went into the bathroom with Bella to dress our makeup, I walked out of the bathroom after watching my hands while I waited for Bella who was still in the bathroom, but the moment I turned around, I spot a familiar beautiful image.

I froze up as I glared at the familiar image of Kelly, she was a woman with a heart of snakes and scorpions and I will never forget that face even if she turned grey.

I just didn't expect to meet you so soon, Kelly, you always catch me off guard! I said in my head when she locked gaze with me.

I was sure she recognized me too, it was hard not too and on her face I could see the surprise. "You..." She stepped closer. "You are Katherine," She scrutinized me. "Aren't you dead?" She asked and it obvious she wanted me dead. "Why are you here?" She raised the corner of her brows with wide eyes.

I scoffed, the shock she experienced was even making her stutter, seven years ago, I had suddenly disappeared into thin air and I was sure they all thought I was dead because none of them searched for me.

You must have thought I committed suicide after treating me like garbage. I curled my hand into fist and resisted the urge to slap her.

I watched Kelly's red lips flare but I gritted my teeth and said word after word. "I am not dead." I glared at her. "How can I die?" I clenched my jaw. "Kelly, it's been seven years, are you ready to give me back what belongs to me?"

They had hurt me seven years ago, the death of my father took a toll on me, they took Joey's enterprise Inc. from me and all these things had to be paid back, how I survived these seven years and all the pain I had endured, it was still vivid and the culprit of all these was this lady in my front.

However, the words I had just said made Kelly's lips to spread in a mocking smile and her eyes were full of sneer. "Katherine, you are still as stupid as you were seven years ago and still as innocent," She crossed her arms around her chest. "I don't know what you claim to be yours."

I clenched my fingers tight that it cuts my skin, yet Kelly walked close to me and whispered in my ear. "Why are you fighting me?" She glanced at my face. "With what will you fight me?" Her lower lips curled up. "You will never be able to fight me Katherine, seven years ago and even seven years later, you are still going to lose." She leaned back and smirked.

My hanging hands gradually tightened and my fingertips squeezed into my palm. "Is it?" My lips parted as I looked at her with a smirk. "Then I will see if you are really that good," I watch her eyes dilate. "Just don't let me down." I furrowed my brows.

Kelly scoffed and turned to leave, but I quickly blocked her path since I was curious about something. "My father must have something to say to me before leaving this world right?" I asked her since I didn't get a chance to meet him before he gave up the ghost. "What did my dad say?" I was hoping she would say something.

I knew my father used to be alone in a daze and always preoccupied and he had told me that he would tell me a secret when I was older, but now I still don't know what that secret was as I didn't get a chance to meet him.

Although, I was not sure dad would tell Kelly or her vicious mother Rose, yet, I didn't want to miss the secret about my father at the slightest chance.

Kelly looked at me with a mocking smile between her eyebrows. "I would say it if you want me to," She smirked and I looked at her with expectation. "That old thing left a message to you, and it is very important." My eyes dilated with curiosity. "But, do you think I will tell you?" The glint in my eyes disappeared. "Dream on."

"Maybe I will consider telling you when I am happy, but you first have to kneel and beg me." Kelly said with her lips leaned against my ear.

Her words fell and suddenly I heard a little girl's voice. "Look! I told you Kelly was here!"

Suddenly several women swarmed up and shouted excitedly. "Kelly, we love you so much, will you sign for us?" They asked almost pushing me away from Kelly eager to get her autograph.

I was squeezed outside and I looked at the crazy fans and scoffed, speechless, i scoffed. These people must be blind, I actually don't think they would like a lady with a heart of snake and scorpion if they aren't blind.

I could help but frown when I saw all Kelly's viciousness gone as she faced her fans with a beautiful smile on her face, she seem to be so pure, but her smile disgusted me.

"Katherine, that is Kelly, the most popular singer and actor in Seattle," I turned when I heard Bella's voice and I saw her look into the crowd after coming out of the bathroom. "I heard she is the wife of Henry of Grey family, and she is backed by the Grey's family, no wonder she is so popular." Bella said with a smile, but her words made me feel an unwilling anger again.

I could tell where she got this pride, it turned out she was now Henry's wife, marrying into Grey's family is enough to show her identity and no one can shake it. No wonder she is so arrogant.

"What's the matter with you, Katherine?" I snapped out of my thought when I heard Bella's voice and I turned to her with my brows raised wondering if she had noticed my frown. "Don't you want to go get her autograph?" She asked me.

I shook my head because as for idolizing someone, I don't find it a hobby especially when that person was Kelly. "No, let's go." I told her and turned to to leave. If dad left a message for me, I will soon or later have you say it to me Kelly!

Before I left, I glanced at Kelly again and we both locked gaze, but Kelly's eyes was full of disdain when she looked at me, but because of Kelly, I was afraid she will always regard me as a loser, but I will show her that I was back to take my revenge on her.
