Under the neon lights, the dance floor was crowded up with dancing girls and boys. She was trying to go forward to reach the door. While she moved there, she was calling the number. But it said out of reach again and again. She wondered if he was okay. He liked to gamble and use the money for worse things. When she got the call from a stranger, she is worried about him and goes there to save him. At last, she reached the room with the glass door. She peeks inside by moving closer to the door. Suddenly, someone appeared in front of her.

Her legs were collapsing because she lose balance. That person was grabbing her hand for helping her. She said, "Thank you". Then, that man asked, "Are you, Miss Pearl". She said, "Yes, I am". That big man said, "This way". She followed him along the hallway and goes upstairs. When he stopped in front of the door with the devil's head, he looked at her and said, "Wait here". She nodded up to him. And then, he went into that room. She was standing near the door closer to the table. The full of fruit in a bowl on the table and there is also a phone beside the bowl. She wondered what this place is. For a while she looked around the area, the door opened and the man who led the way said, "You can come in now". She said, "Okay". When she went in, she saw him in blood. So, she was running after him and held his body in her arms. The boss-like person was holding a cup of drink in hand and tried to throw it at him. She said, "I can't". The boss said, "It's your choice". The boss was calling his bodyguard and ordered him to take her to his home. She couldn't do anything at that time. Suddenly, the landlord was coming up into their room. She was running up to the door and check from the hole. She said, "Oh, crap Ms. Barnard is here". She opened the door before Ms. Barnard's guards break the door. Then, Ms. Barnard said, "If you can't pay the full amount now, you must pack your things and get out". She said, "Wait, my friend was preparing for paying this". Ms. Barnard said, "You guys kept saying this all the time now it's time to pay and clear this". Then, Ms. Barnard said, "You should pack your thing now and get out of my apartment". She couldn't tell anything to Ms. Barnard now because she can't call her friend yet. At that time, that lady was looking at them and she put down the rose flower on the table. And then, that lady came up to her by saying, "who is she". The bodyguard said, "She is the master's girl from now on". That lady was looking at her carefully from head to toe. So, he was calling the site manager. The site manager was picking up the phone and he ask the site manager about the engineer. Then, he heard about the horrible situation at there. That was being the reason why he decide to catch the senior engineer back and push him to get it done. If the construction site gone worse, he will lose his money. He was investing much amount of money in it. The other investors are also included in this hotel and resort construction. This project was huge to get it done. However, he decided to get it done anyway. On his way to the construction site, he was making a call to the regional associates of district 9. During the call, he was telling them for finding the girl whom he send in the message and then give an apartment to her and tell her not to worry about her roommate again. He hoped the associate can do this. And then, he focused back on the mission.

Pearl's friend was sleeping for a night at the motel. She hadn't much money left. And then, she tried to call Pearl. But Pearl's phone was still out of the area. Some of them were smoking. She said, "You can't smoke here". That guy was stop smoking and kill the fire under his boot. One of them asked her by showing the picture from the phone. She asked, "Where did you get that". They said, "So, are you the right person". She said, "Yes, I am and where is she now". The leader told with a cold and clear voice, "she is alright and we are coming here for taking you to the new place to stay". She said, "Wait I can't go anywhere else before she calls her to explain this situation". They looked at each other and said, "Okay then". Their leader was calling to their boss. Later, the leader was giving her the phone by saying, "Talk to her". She was grabbing the phone holding her breath and listen. She heard, "Ruby is that you". She couldn't hold her tears when she hear her friend's voice on the phone. She asked, "Where are you now Pearl". Pearl replied, "Don't ask me because I don't know actually". Ruby said, "Is that true? You tell them to find me and take me to a new apartment". Pearl said, "Yes". Ruby said, "why aren't you coming here". Pearl said, "this is the last thing I can do for you". On the other hand, he promised her to clear her debts and give the apartment for her friend. Since she came out from home, her friend become her closest friend and also her family. Her friend's family was standing there for her and giving her a chance to stand on her own feet. She was studying together with her friend at the same school and university. Everything went worse after her friend's parents die in an accident. On that day, they cried by leaning on each other's shoulders and hugging tight. She was finding a part-time job first and Ruby find the apartment. They couldn't stay at Ruby's parent's home longer. Ruby's parents didn't own a home. They were staying at the place where their employer give them. They were being the government's staff who work in educational services. She and Ruby got out from there and start their own road.
