Love Is By Accident

Cinderella story is Olivia's least favorite story, why? Because she believes all fairytales are stupid and unrealistic especially Cinderella's story

She didn't do anything to help herself but keep waiting for a miracle to happen and then a prince appeared and save her from her evil sisters and stepmother.

Instead of waiting for a prince, she decides to work hard after her parents abandoned her at the orphanage at the age of five with her younger brother.

They made her a promise to come back for them and because she chooses to believe their words, Olivia refused any adoption by anyone and waited for her parents but they never came back.

Even though they were lucky to be enrolled to a school at the orphanage, all of her believes change and she focus on making some good fortune by herself and securing a good future.

She doesn't get to enjoy life or party and make friends like all girls of her age do as she has to deal with a lot of jobs and take care of her brother.

Going back to the beginning of her current situation, Olivia was at work that Wednesday morning with a book in her hand and when she noticed that someone is coming, she grabbed the mop to start cleaning up the place thinking it's her boss but only to discover it's her best friend Emma.

Olivia sighs and dropped the mop immediately going back to the intriguing novel she was reading

"Are you that surprised to see my beautiful face this morning?"Emma asked jovially

"You are welcome your majesty, the time to resume work is seven" she said sarcastically but Emma brush her off and put on an apron to get to work.

Olivia dropped the novel in her hand and joined her.

The both of them start the cleaning and soon everything is in place, Emma goes into the store room to get the things they will need for the day leaving Olivia to her thoughts.

Olivia bought out a small jotter and start to make calculations to know the exact amount she has spent and how much is left and sigh thinking about how much work she will have to do to make up for it

She has spent the last six years since she left the orphanage with her younger brother working and has been able to gather some money but she has to spent almost everything to pay for her brother, Romeo's major surgery

"What are you brooding about early in the morning?"Emma asked as she comes out of the storeroom and places some box on the floor

Emma is the only friend Olivia has in the orphanage and despite her sad story of losing her parents when she was barely one, she is always cheerful and doesn't worry much about life unlike Olivia.

The story of a fairy with long dark hair and green eyes sitting on a big rock in the rain was created because of Emma by the others kids at the orphanage although the truth is actually different from what everyone thought.

The boys believed she is a fairy because of how flawless and composed she looked while sitting quietly in the rain but the truth is that she saw her monthly visitor and didn't want to stand up because of the stain on her dress.

So she stayed in the rain until Romeo goes to her and gave her his jacket to cover herself, even though he doesn't understand what happened to her then but Emma start caring for him since then.

"Where is Romeo? I thought you said he has left the hospital" Emma asked and dropped the napkin in her hand then she head towards a table with a small bag on it and came back with a packed lunchbox

"Yes, but what's up with the lunchbox?"

"Oh this, it's for Romeo. I know you are too busy trying to make money to cook something good for his breakfast so I made this for him" she answered

"One will think you are his sister and not me" Olivia said jokingly and carried the bucket and mop in her hand outside while Emma also follow her out

"You can manage the cafe by yourself right? I will be back" she said and left in a cab before Olivia could say another word

"You forgot your phone" Olivia said but her car was already out of sight

She never stays at the shop and always has an excuse to go out. Luckily for her, Jake their Boss has a crush on her so he let her off most of the time.

Olivia finish setting up the milk and other things in the right position and soon another worker, Jess join her with their first customer right behind her

Once the big clock hand reach twelve, Olivia drop the order booklet in her hand, removed her apron and grab Emma's phone. She wave Jess goodbye and exit the cafe.

Olivia expects Emma to be back already so they can catch the bus to campus. They are both studying mathematics at ESP College and need to be in class in twenty minutes time if they do not want to miss attendance.

Olivia rush into the class as she spot the lecturer walking in and find a seat before he turn to the class and start to call names for attendance.

Her eyes dash round the spacious class and she sight Emma seated two rows away from her, their gazes meet and she throw her a glare.

She turn away ignoring her apologetic gestures and bring her attention back to the professor answering her name.

After the class, Emma apologize for not coming back as planned putting her chin over her shoulder and pout her lips, Olivia push her off giving in to her apology.

They walk to the school cafeteria and find a table to have the delicious looking burrito, their butts has hardly touched the chairs when three girls enter the cafeteria and catch everyone's attention including Olivia.

From the flashy Versace tops they are all putting on to the short mini-skirts that barely cover their lady bumps to the Chanel purse they are carrying in the tip of their hands and the heels that will make every girl steal her old man's wallet.

Their flawless skin burnt every eye as they get lost in them, everything about them screams stupid money, and they are the kind of girls who are born with big silver spoon in their mouth

"I guess that's Reina, I heard her father is very wealthy an associated with the top business owners" Emma comment

She literally has information about everyone at school

The both of them are in their second year and despite her humble background, Emma is a social butterfly

"She sure is rich" Olivia said calculating how much the watch her wrist must have cost.

"Do you know who she is getting married to? It's Jayden Sutton" Emma continues and brings out her phone to confirm the information

"The real Jayden Sutton of 'Just & light' companies?" Olivia asked in disbelieve and Emmanodss her head.

Olivia look away from Reina understanding that she is on another level, not only is she born with a silver spoon but she is in a relationship with one.

She has ambition of working in just & light and plans to apply there one day but isn't sure if they will employ someone from a humble educational background like her

"Hi ladies" they heard a gentle and sweet voice behind them and turn to see a cute looking guy with a nice hair cut staring at them

"Hello" they both respond with a smile but Olivia quickly looks away from him.

"Am Audrey, a second year student from the same department, am not sure if you have seen me before" he introduced

"Oh!" Olivia mouthed not interested in whatever he has to say but Emma seems interested in him

"Nice to meet you Audrey, am Emma" she said and introduced Olivia also

"Am sorry to interrupt your lunch but if you don't mind, there is a party and everyone from our department is invited. I don't know if you have heard about it"

"We mind and we won't be able to attend" Olivia response sharply and stood up to leave but Emma pull her back

"Why won't we? We will be there, where is this party taking place?" Emma asked pinching Olivia not to frown her face

"It's a new bar that just opened near the school, I am sure you know it" Audrey answered focusing his attention on Olivia which Emma andnodss her head with a smile.

"Okay, we will be there"

"Yeah, bye" he said and glance at Olivia again before walking away

"Why did you act that way? He is just trying to be friendly, aren't you going to start making new friends this session..."

"Okay, I know you are saying this because he is handsome so don't start besides I have a boyfriend" Olivia said cutting her off

"Yeah, that loser" Emma scoffed pushing her food away

"Don't call him that" Olivia said in her boyfriend's defense

"Really? He hasn't contact you for two weeks now, no matter how busy he is am sure he is not busy more than you are"

"Am sure he has his own reasons, besides our two year anniversary is coming up and we plan to meet up at his place" Olivia told her but Emma isn't convinced

The both of them met with Charles at the orphanage but he was lucky to be adopted to a rich home and lives fine now.

Olivia met him again two years ago and since she had a crush on him then, the two hit things off and after a month they start dating

"But you do agree that this guy is handsome and he is so my type, look at his fine and well built body but what a pity that he doesn't like me"

"Not now, you have a boyfriend remember" Olivia reminds her but she shrugs

Emma doesn't want to reveal to her the actual reason why she broke up with her boyfriend to Olivia so she finds an excuse

"We broke up last week; he is an idiot. Anyways, we are over and am single"

"Why did you break up? That guy is the best of all your ex boyfriends" Olivia queried not believing her

She feels concerned that Emma keep dating guys on short time periods and dumping them isn't good enough

One thing about Emma is that she fall in love too easily and also same with falling out of love because of her thinking that love is about having fun and sex with the other person.

"He told me not to go to Romeo's game and he also wants me to stop being friends with you" Emma told her and Olivianods her head in understanding

They promised each other not to let any man come between them and using Romeo's game is something that is unforgivable.

Romeo is very good swimmer and also in the basketball team, kind of a dreamy guy right?

He is one of the best in his school and he goes to compete with other students since he's not quite the brainy type like his sister.

Olivia enrolled him to a sport high school where they pay for his tutoring with half the payment from competition and the rest belong to the school.

Emma finds men who swim sexy so she will always go to support him while enjoying the view of different guys' abs in the process

"So we are going to that party right?" Emma asked with eyes that say she can't refuse and Olivia agreed reluctantly.

Why I don't like gatherings

Jayden Sutton sits down listening to the conversation between his Dad, Richard and Mr. Hilton without much interest.

He try to say a word or two when it is directed to him but focus on picking through the many dishes on the table.

The two men laugh at something he could not grab then raise their glasses for a clink, they turn to him and he pick up his untouched drink and join everyone to toast to what he has no idea what.

"Jay, will you be willing to come with me to a friend's party?" Reina asked and hold his hand resting on his lap.

"I know you don't like going to parties that much but I promised my friends you would come" she added.

Jayson give her a cold gaze staring at their enjoined hands and Reina pull away quickly. She turns to his mother, Mrs. Sutton to help talk to him.

Despite the fact that they have known each other since little and grew up together, Jayden has never warmed up to her and always treat her coldly.

She always try to get him to show her a teeny bit attention whenever they are together but he always give her cold shoulders.

He kept quiet about their rumored relationship too which makes Reina feel unease.

"Jayden, you can't keep being rude to Reina all the time, I understand that you can't stand people getting closer to you but she is not just anyone" Margot said and turn to Reina.

"He's going with you" she assures her and Reina smiles

"I actually have something to discuss concerning their relationship" Mr. Hilton said

"Reina will be graduating from college in a few months" Richard continued trying to make his intention known slowly but Margot already understand what he wants to say and complete the words for him.

"Why don't we have our kids get engaged now?" Mrs. Sutton says turning to Mr. Hilton whose face light up.

The Hilton's family would not have been able to make it this far if not for Richard Sutton's help.

Ever since Reina's Mother's death, Margot has adopted Reina as her daughter and treat them so good.

They have become close family friends since then and their kids grew up together. Because of their parent's close relationship, Reina becomes the only person that has ever been close to Jayden.

This make everyone to believe they will be perfect together and Reina start rumors about their relationship which none of the families has denied.

"Of course I will be pleased if that happens, the both of them look good together" Richard replied excitedly

Reina persuade him to bring up the topic to the Suttons and turn their words into reality, after all Jayden's parents like and regard her as their daughter.

"Concerning that, we will have to ask them" Mr. Sutton replies reluctantly.

Although he likes Reina a lot but he knows he can't force any decision on Jayden.

"Uncle, aunt I will be more than happy to get engaged with Jay" Reina said smiling.

"Jayden, what do you say?" his father turn to him and everyone also do the same waiting for him to speak

"We are not in a relationship so why would we get engaged?" Jayden said much to Reina's dismay and the smile on her face disappear instantly

His parents couldn't say anything because they already expect that much and turn their face away

Reina panicked hearing his words and stood up from her seat then held his hand

"Jayden, what are you saying? We are going to get married anyways, doesn't matter if we are in a relationship we can start now" she said

"You are the one who keep getting ahead of yourself and making up stories, I never promised you anything and we don't have any relationship" he told her clearly as tears welled up in Reina's eyes

It's true he never promised her anything nor were they in a relationship but he never deny any of the rumors about them

Even when their friends talk about them being a couple, he doesn't deny it either

"What do you mean Jayden, you know how much I love you, I have always love you" she said but he didn't even bother to look at her

Jayden has made it clear to her once that he will never love her and can only be with her as a brother after she lost her mother but she didn't stop then.

"Why don't we talk about this another day" Sutton said seeing his son's cold attitude to Reina

He is aware of Reina's feelings towards his son but knows clearly that Jayden might not feel the same way about her and seeing his son's attitude today confirms his thoughts

"Why don't we do that, am sure the both of them will work things out later" Margot added.

She really likes Reina and will love her to be her daughter-in-law

Hiltonnodss his head not satisfied with the way things are going, it true that the Sutton never mentioned marriage but Reina assured him that they are getting along just fine but seems like all that is in her head.

"There is nothing to discuss further on this, I will take my leave now" Jayden told them firmly and stood up

This is why he never like gathering like this, his mother always tries to set him up with Reina and force him to accompany her

Jayden look at his father once more andnods his head respectively then walk out ignoring Reina's tears

Reina watch him leave with tears in her eyes, if Jayden really deny their relationship and everyone gets to know then she will be ridiculed and shamed by everyone as a liar.

She cleaned her eyes and run after him on a second thought....

Meanwhile...

Olivia sat down at the so called party blaming herself for accepting to go with Emma, she is bored out of her mind sitting down in a corner and just picking at the foods

It seems to her more like it's a hook up party where everyone just has fun with each other and wastes their time

This is one of the reasons why she hates going to gatherings like this, she never fit in and always have to leave before the party ends

Olivia try keeping her cool and stay for a few more minutes but Emma found a handsome guy in his third year after Audrey was dragged away by some girls for the second time when she tried talking to him

Almost every girl there wants to talk with Audrey and they keep stopping him from going over to Olivia, he is surely the kind of guy everyone fawns over. Typical girl's sweetheart

Emma came to her and told her that she will be going to the restroom with the guy she has been flirting with and leaves before getting her response which is obviously no.

Seeing that her friend is out of sight, Audrey manage to escape the girls crowding around him and sat down next to Olivia then he offered her a bottle of beer which she decline

"You don't drink?" He asked raising his voice a little so she can hear him

"I do" she answered and took it with a fake smile. He is the reason why she is here right now.

"Then you must not like interacting with new people? You have been quiet all night" He asked again and Olivia gave him a dissatisfying look

"If you know that then leave" she thought but gave a different reply

"I have some work to do later" she answered and he became silent making Olivia feel bad.

She has always been wary of guys and doesn't interact much with those who show interest in her but he maybe he is different.

She took the drink from him and takes a long gulp from the beer before dropping the bottle on the table

"Actually Olivia I want to talk to you..."Audrey was interrupted by another guy who seems really drunk already

"Audrey there you are, I can't believe you reject my sister to be with someone like her" he said in a very loud voice which attract some attention to them

"Joe, you are drunk. You should go home now" Audrey told him and stood up to take him away from there but he pushed him aside and sat down beside Olivia.

"Don't worry, I will keep her company" he said

Olivia could smell alcohol all over his body; he must be one of the guys bathing in beer because of a game

She turns her face away feeling disgusted by him

He tries to place his hand around her but Audrey was quick to stop him and pull Olivia up from the chair which annoyed him

"What are you doing? Are you going to leave? Common that's rude I am still talking with you" He said

"What's his deal?"Olivia thought more irritated

Audrey step forward to tell him off but Olivia was a second faster than he was

"Will you f**k off and stop being a nuisance" she shot at him

"Pathetic" Olivia muttered and pulls away from Audrey then start walking out of the room not ready to stay one more minute in there.

Audrey tries to stop her and wanted to follow her out but another girl stops him blocking his way.

Immediately Olivia makes her way out of the place, she starts her motorcycle heading to her work to deliver some goods.

She was a few minutes away from the shop when she sees a familiar figure entering a big restaurant with a girl in his arms; Olivia stops the motorcycle in the middle of the road in surprise

"Are you crazy? Why did you stop like that" someone shouts behind her

Olivia immediately apologizes to the car behind her and turns her direction towards the restaurant with doubts in her heart, she knows Charles isn't that kind of person but has to confirm what she just saw.

As she gets to the entrance, she is stopped by the security in charge because of how shabby she is dressed; Olivia sees Charles disappearing figure and call out to him.

It seems like her voice isn't loud enough because he didn't turn around so she step away from the door to think of a way to go in

Despite her busy schedule, Olivia still make some time to spend it with Charles but recently he is always making excuses not to meet with her and always has a reason to cancel their plans together.

Olivia let down her hair which is packed in a messy bun and use her hand to smoothen it then uses the nude lipstick from her jacket to change her look

Even without any makeup her face looks like a model's and her slender figure makes her look more beautiful, it is easily to notice her beauty even with the ugly clothes she is wearing

Olivia pull off her jacket and held it in her arm then goes back to try again and she is allowed in by the same guard who couldn't recognize her

Immediately she gain access inside, she look around for any sight of Charles but didn't find him and thought of going back when she heard his voice behind her

Olivia turned and sees him kissing the girl she saw with him earlier, the two seems to be having a great time and giggling

"Charles" she called in a low tone than she intended, something stings in her heart as she sees the man she loves with another woman

Charles raise his head and is taken aback to see Olivia standing in front of him, he look at the girl in his arms again and push her away which made her question about who Olivia is

"Her? She must be the delivery girl" Charles lies shamelessly denying her

Olivia scoff in disbelieve hearing his words and is short of words to say to him.

She thought he was really busy to meet her and didn't go to find him because she doesn't want to pressure him or disturb his work; turns out he is busy with another woman in his arms

"Give me a minute and I will make her leave" he said and turns to Olivia with a troubled expression

"What are you doing here?" he asked in a whisper and grab her hand to drag her away but she snatch it away and pushes him pulling other's attention to their side

"What am I doing here? Is this why you have been busy?" she questions not minding the stares.

Charles looks around and tries to hide his face so no one recognizes him with her, an action which Olivia didn't fail to notice

"What is going on?" the woman with him stood up and asked

"Olivia, calm down and listen to my explanation" Charles said pushing the other woman aside and held her hands

"I am doing all this for you, for us. So we can be happy together" he told her and Olivia is shocked to see this side of him

"Charles!" the woman yells

She couldn't believe he is cheating on her and that too with a delivery girl, she tries to get Charles to explain to her but he yells at her instead and tells her to leave

He focuses his attention on Olivia again who tries to push him away but he held on tight and continue saying nonsense

"She is nothing to me, she is just someone my parents want me to marry but there is nothing between us I only love you" he said much to the other woman's dismay

"You son of a bitch!" she shouts and hit him with her bag then leaves in anger

"Do you kiss a woman you have no relationship with?" Olivia asked him after she is gone

It's true his parents never support their relationship and wants him to marry a girl with the same status as them but he promised not to leave her and love her always

Olivia can't believe he will give in to their request after all and cheat on her

"That...That is nothing"

"It's nothing? If I also kiss another guy will you see it as nothing?" she asked angrily and his hands dropped

"You can't do that, you are a girl" he shot and Olivia is more annoyed by him

"So you can cheat on me but I can't?

"You are a girl Olivia, I promise you that I will divorce her quickly and fulfill my promise to you" he said

Olivia can't believe he thought of her that way and push him out of the way angrily

She turns around thinking of a way to get back at him before leaving

Olivia sees a very good looking man walking coming out of the elevator and walking towards her.

He looks like an art sculpture that just come out of a painting as he come closer wearing a red suit, she can't believe her luck and thought he is the perfect person to use to get back at Charles

If not for his suit that shows clearly that he is a man, she would have called him beautiful

Olivia matches towards him pushing Charles who tries to stop her aside and stops in front of him.

"Excuse me" she said and stretch her body to reach his height then she grab his collar and place her lips on his.

Olivia close her eyes tightly and open her mouth to kiss him properly

Her body tense up as her lips moves against his and she let herself indulge in the kiss longer than she intended...

Jayden is startled to be kissed by a stranger and didn't know how to react at first, he felt her lips moving against his and came back to his senses then pushes her away gentler than he intended.

He opened his mouth to tell her off but her brown innocent eyes staring at him seems to have some kind of effect on him so he swallow up his words.

Jayden place his hand in his pocket and continue staring at Olivia who seems shy after the kiss, she doesn't look like one of those girls who throw themselves at him but is quite bold to kiss him

"What is this about?" he finally asked him in a low calm tone

Olivia doesn't know what to say to him, after all the only person she ever shared a kiss with is Charles and kissing a man she doesn't know at all feels weird and strangely enchanting.

Olivia notices she is still holding on to his clothes and move her hand away quickly with an apologetic look on her face.

She just wanted to repay Charles for cheating her and lying in her face

"Olivia I can't believe you are this shameless" Charles cried and walk away angrily.

Jayden tilt his head back understanding that she kissed him to make the guy who just left jealous

Olivia stare at handsome stranger who doesn't seems much bothered by her action but looks rather natural with a calm expression resting on his face.

She observes his features carefully and moves her eyes slowly from his light brown short hair and pure Hazel eyes which look captivating

Olivia move her eyes down his neck forgetting her manners and his Adam's apple move in a way that she would call sexy

She marvels at how someone can be so perfectly made...

"Are you done?" she heard his voice and immediately apologize then took some steps away from him

"You..." Reina stutters standing behind Jayden horrified to see him kissing someone.

She is shocked to see a Jayden together with another girl; he has always been cold and aloof that she thought he doesn't have any affection towards any woman.

She must be why he never cared about her; Reina couldn't believe he has a girlfriend.

"Jay who is she?" she asked stepping closer to them and they both turn to her while Jayden maintain his calm look, Olivia feels sorry assuming she is his girlfriend.

She acted out of anger just now and didn't even think of the fact that someone so good looking like him will have a girlfriend. She immediately step forward to apologize to the woman in front of her

"What you see isn't real, am sorry that..." Jayden pulls her back towards himself stopping her from saying anything further.

"What are you doing? We should explain to your girlfriend" she said in a whisper.

"She is not my girlfriend" Jayden told her loudly so Reina can also hear and stop pestering him

"Let's go" he said to the confused Olivia and pulls her out of the restaurant along with him.

Immediately they got out, he let her go and without another word he got into a car waiting for him and zooms off.

Olivia also walk back to where she parked her motorcycle remembering that she is late for work, she drives home instead of going for work.

Reina walk out and stare at their disappearing figure, she held the jacket Olivia had with her which she dropped without realizing it and read the name on it

"Yours first delivery company" she muttered and scoff then went back inside
