INTRO
I hugged him tight, assuring him I meant what I said. Tears streamed down my cheeks, blurring the faces of my brother and boyfriend as they watched in horror, slowly realizing what I was about to do. He began to pull away, but I held him tighter, my heart hammering in my chest as I took the final step backward, dragging him with me over the edge of the cliff. In that fleeting moment, reality sunk in like a sink hole. I was choosing to die just to bring with, the person I despised the most in this world.

DIARY ENTRY-
Have you ever wondered what it feels like, when a sharp object meets the skin, just enough to graze it, not enough to harm it, but enough to see if you can still feel anything. Anything other than that feeling of rejection, depression, anger, and sorrow.
The hope that maybe somewhere, someone cares that you exist. That maybe, just maybe, even you care about your existence. That you're... not alone. I know what it's like. I've done it more times than I can count.
Any sharp object would do. Sometimes a kitchen blade, other times the jagged edge of shattered glass. I'd let it glide over the skin on my arms slowly, deliberately. It stings for just a split second then the blood pools from the cuts left behind.
I've been doing it since age twelve after being raped and going through the process of no one believing me and shower after shower trying to wash away... trying to wash away the feeling of utter disgust. Trying to take back my body with soap, water, and a pouf.
Just like a tattoo that feeling of... feeling like waste after your stepfather has had a long night doing whatever he wanted to u sticks. It's permanent. And in his twisted words... you are his and only his. You are permanently his. Nothing but a toy thats only disposed of when he decides. I thought living was hard as hell but so is dying.
Sixteen failed suicide attempts. Back to square one. Living a nightmare you can't die or wake up from is all there is in my world. Welcome to hell.

Closed the book just in time I thought as I stared back at my mom and her perverted husband. They stood in my doorway with disturbing grins on their faces. "What are you doing?" She said arms crossed as she eyed my diary.
"I was just... "Who cares? You have more important things to do, pack your things, we're going on a trip" Gerald the pig said, cutting me off. "Daddy give us a minute please," She said, practically undressing him right in front of me.
I nearly vomited. "Do you want him to give you a minute or give you his clothes?" I muttered. Only realized I said it out loud after catching their glares. If eyes could kill I was just murdered a thousand times over. I thought as I got up from my bed still holding my diary tight.
He finally left us alone. She slammed the door closed, and walked over to me slowly still glaring. Her eyes would never look at me the way you'd think a mother would look at her daughter. Instead, you could see her gaze was filled with nothing more than hatred.
She stopped just inches away from me before grabbing me by the hair. "You think I'm stupid?" she hissed, her voice as cold as ice. "What do you mean?" I asked nervously, trembling in my house slippers trying not to trip from the awkward position and also trying to avoid her eyes.
"You've been eyeing him since age twelve. Trying to seduce him in any way possible" she spat. I could feel the tears welling in my eyes, as confusion, anger, and sadness washed over me like a wave. Is she serious? She's seriously saying that I want that disgusting creature of a husband she has.
"I don't want him! I will never want him! He is the very definition of human waste!" I yelled as the tears fell down my face. Her free hand swings and just like that I'm on the floor of my room. A warm sting on the right side of my cheek as I lay there trying to figure out why my life's the way it is.
She grabs my hair once again pulling my head back so that I'm half off the floor backwards, my body contorted into that twisted position, like some exorcist movie. I winced from the pain and tried to pull away. Her grip tightened. "You will learn the hard way that you will not disrespect me or him.
Pack all of your things. I think it's time you live with your husband. It'll be good for you to learn early besides I'm sick of you opening your legs for mine" she said as she angrily pushed my head to the floor. I slowly sat up holding my hand under my nose to catch the blood.
I'm used to a lot of the painful words and beatings that come from that lady shell of a mother but what does she mean to live with my husband? I thought as I cried and dragged myself to the bathroom. Where I sat silently on the floor.
Then suddenly it hit me that she could try to sell me off into a marriage just like before. That first one failed when he learned my real age. But if this guy happens to be anything like her husband then she might succeed this time.
I couldn't get the thought to go away no matter how hard I tried. I packed everything. This time if she succeeds I'm sold off. I'll be happy to be away from her and her disgusting husband but I will not stay with that guy either. I need to make a run for it again.
This time I can do it, I just... I just wouldn't get caught.

The car ride dragged on, the silence occasionally broken by a hum of the tires against the uneven road. The night air held the faint scent of rain.
A warning that soon enough it would be pouring. I shivered when a chill crept in the slightly cracked window.
"Close the damn window!" Gerald snapped, his voice grating, eyes narrowing through the rearview. My eyes roll instinctively out of utter disgust as I let the window up.
As if on cue, the limo comes to a halt. My mother squealed in excitement as if we had just arrived at Disneyland, rushing out as soon as the door unlocked.
Gerald followed, and I silently trailed behind. I'm met with a very unsettling view.
There's a large iron gate in front of us, framed by the dark silhouettes of tall trees. No other houses, nor signs of life nearby. Great just when I want to try my luck and run away again.
We're in the middle of nowhere. Literally, isolated.
I stared at the gates that slowly opened. Revealing a tall young man. His face expressionless. He greets us, and motions for us to enter. Beyond the gate stood, a massive castle.
Its silhouette set against the night sky. We were led through the perfectly manicured, yard. The doors almost as tall as the gate at the entrance.
Two men escorted us in. I stepped inside, and for a moment, the grandeur of the place stole my breath.
Spiral staircases curved up from either side of the massive foyer, meeting in the center above. The white tile floors gleamed under the chandeliers, a soft glow bouncing off the brown patterns etched into the surface.
Every inch of the place screamed wealth.
I looked around in awe. My mom's elbow jabbed into my ribs, her voice low and venomous.
"Stop gawking. You're embarrassing us," she hissed, her eyes sharp. "If you screw this up, I'll tie you to a railroad track and watch the train run over you."
Her threat yanking me out of my haze. I forced my gaze to the tile beneath my feet. The weight of reality settling over me like a suffocating blanket.
"Patricia, Gerald it's about time you've come to visit," Someone said in the happiest tone. I didn't dare look up. I could tell this guy's age from his voice. Please tell me he is not the one buying me.
Finally having the courage, I slowly looked up at an old man with a grey beard and grey hair on the sides of his head that fell shoulder length. The top that sat under his crown just in the middle is completely bald.
He does know his crown doesn't cover that right?
He was wearing a dark grey suit with black dress shoes and a grey tie. About six feet tall "Oh don't be silly we've got much to discuss of course we shall visit,"
Mom said shoving me towards the elderly man. "She's not much, but im sure you can find a way to use her. Right?" she asked.
The man gave me a slight glance, before looking back at my mom and Gerald. "She's not for me.
He said with a venomous tone. As if he was disgusted with my mother's action. "I'm sure one of my sons will be very pleased. She is a beauty," he stated firmly.
"Who is?" A woman in a very beautiful black gown, asked as she made her way towards us. The lady wore silver heels that were very gorgeous. Yet, looked uncomfortable. I mean I'm guessing.
Hope she doesn't just walk that way. I thought as she made her way towards us with pep in her step in way too much sway in her hips.
It took everything not to laugh at how extra she was walking. Her eyes a bright blue, her hair neatly swept into a low bun.
She was almost the same in height as her husband. Her eyes widened after seeing me. "Oh hello you're finally here," she said.
Without warning she swept me into a warm embrace, before I could even greet her back. "It'sso good to finally meet you." She cooed.
"Did you want your sons to meet her first before we leave?" Gerald asked, causing her to end the hug.
"Oh no don't worry she'll be just fine. You can also leave her things with Shelby he's out front by the door"
The elderly man said. I was just so in shock at the situation that played out. Everyone's talking as if I'm not here.
Not one of them asks me what I want. Of course, I knew I had no say but still, this was unbelievable.
"Gerald, why don't we step into my office for privacy" The elderly man asked. looking at me as to say they needed to have privacy from me.
Yes, I still don't know his name. He never said neither did his wife. Gerald gave me a huge grin while squeezing my shoulder.
"Oh, no need, this isn't her first rodeo. She knows why we're here" He said, hand still on my shoulder. I pulled away from his grip.
"He's right, you can make the transaction here," My mom agreed.
Mom and Gerald wanted me to watch the transaction. The other couple looked annoyed. I don't know why. They can't be too much of a saint either, if they're buying me.
I rolled my eyes when the elder guy's wife handed Gerald an envelope. "Wow look at that a whole five eruos."
I looked at him eyes wide, as I stood frozen in place. I get that I'm not beautiful or a genius, like other girls.
Mom only reminds me every day. Saying you're ugly, fat, and dumb. I never liked my appearance either. I purposely avoided looking at my face in the mirror. I don't even have pictures of myself on my phone.
I have never been around anyone besides my mom, Gerald, the maids, and guards at home. Mom doesn't tell people she has a daughter. She said I'm not worth mentioning.
As far as I know, I have no family besides the lady that's supposed to be my mom.
To her I wasn't a person, I was a transaction, and five euros was all, I was worth.
"He's joking, you think we came all this way for €5? One man's trash is another man's treasure. And to this man, you're worth €5,000,000. Haha, they laughed. Well, at least I'm not €5. I thought. Annoyed at the whole situation. "Well, she's all yours now.
Please note there are no refunds or returns as stated in the contract" I rolled my eyes and didn't even spare a glance their way as they left. Shortly after, the couple helped me get settled in. The room is beautifully decorated with a gold and pink theme.
Huge master bedroom with a separate living space and large sliding doors that lead to a spacious balcony. It was also nicely decorated. "They've got taste that's for sure" After gushing over the room I fell on the bed just letting everything sink.
-Knock Knock "Come in!" I called after sitting up on the bed. "Hi, I came to bring your things. Do you need any assistance unpacking?"
The man from before that opened the gates for us asked. "No, thank you. You can leave them next to the door I'll take care of it"
He nodded and began to leave when a tall male appeared in front of him. He looked to be around my age but maybe older. He must be one of the sons mentioned before. Well, I'm guessing since he's dressed rather nicely in a velvet maroon suit with gold trim.
Black hair that was cut short, eyes like his mother's bright blue, and his height is insane for his age.
He's like 6 feet, almost 7. I guessed. "Excuse me, young master," The guy said as he walked past him. He was checking me out so boldly.
He held a blank expression on his face. "You're... Sky?" He asked as he crossed his arms. "Yeah and you are..?" I asked, crossing my arms after catching his eyes focus on my chest. "Not bad," He said, now licking his lips. "Excuse me?" I said annoyed.
"I just meant that you're not bad for uh a bride for my brother at least. As for me sorry I have higher standards" Just as I was about to tell him off another guy walked in. Removing his tie. "Leave her alone Jason. You want to scare her off?"
He asked, finally looking up at me. "Wow, you're gorgeous. I'm Lou. What's your name?" He asked, holding out his hand. "Sky... um thank you" I said as I shook his hand. He gave a nod with a huge smile. He was shorter but not too much shorter.
Blonde hair cut lower than the others, light blue eyes but they had a hint of brown like he was wearing contacts, he had on a cream suit over a white button-up and white dress shoes.
A gold watch on both wrists.
"Oh uh, they're both gifts so I could never choose to wear one without the other" So one's a perve the other's a player. I thought and it's like he read my mind. "One watch is from my grandad, the other from my dad. My grandad passed away.
I don't go anywhere without them, "he Said. I was very uncomfortable because of the other one. Jason continued to undress me with his eyes. I guess Lou noticed he shoved him. "We'll get going now," Lou said as he grabbed Jason's arm.
"You should. Oh, and stay out of her room she is off limits" I wasn't the only one that looked confused. Jason and Lou were taken aback. They just stared at him for a moment before laughing. "What's funny," he asked.
"The fact that you think everyone and everything belongs to you," Jason said annoyed.
Just as The random weird guy is about to say something back. The elderly man entered the room. "Dad?" they all said in unison. "She is to marry Dakota. I don't want to hear any whining.
She now belongs to him"
"Not even going to let her choose herself? this family is so weird" Lou said as he shook his head. He glanced my way before leaving the room. "I'm not surprised you'd do anything for that son of yours. Be it buy him whatever or whoever he wants"
"Or get rid of someone for him," Lou added from the hallway. "You do have two other sons if you didn't notice and Lou and I are more age range for her but you just say she's the oldest son since he's your favorite" Jason didn't wait for a response. He practically yelled it all before he stormed out.
"Ignore them, Dakota. You're more mature of course she's yours" The elder man. Well King Satarro. Yes, I finally know his name. The queen told me earlier when I called him the elder man. "No worries I planned to anyway, Can I speak to her alone Dad"
He glanced at me and then attempted to whisper in his son's ear but I caught on to it. "Now son don't let me down. Do not let what happened to the other happen to her control your temper" He said as he gave a pat on his shoulder before leaving us alone in the room.
What does that mean? I thought as I watched the guy close the door behind his dad. He's about the same height as Jason, all had the same fit physique like they worked out on the daily. Black medium-length hair slicked to one side.
His eyes are a dark deep brown. They almost look black, it's kind of scary. He stood in a black suit with black dress shoes. Even his handkerchief was black. What's his deal with black? I thought. "It's my favorite color," He said as he walked towards me.
This is the second time one of them answered a question that never left my lips. I thought as I took a step or two back for every step he took forward. He stopped for just a second. "Please stop moving, I'm only trying to shake your hand and get to know you.
You are my soon-to-be bride" I laughed. "Bride? I don't even know your name. And if I did. I'm sixteen I'm no one's bride" I said, still moving away from him. "Hmmm" was his response and within seconds this guy was right in front of me.
I was too shocked to say anything. I just stared at him. He wrapped an arm around my waist holding me tightly against him. Then leaned down to meet my ear. "Listen to everything I'm about to say carefully. I don't repeat myself.
I'm Dakota you're... as my dad called you Sky. My fiance as of now. Like it or not. I can be very nice or very mean it all depends on your actions" He's lost his mind. I thought as I attempted to shove him away but he didn't budge.
"Whether you repeat it or not. I don't care, I'm not going to marry some delusional prick that's being spoiled rotten by his dad. It'd be more than nice if you got your arm from around me and got out of my room" I said, still struggling to move his arm.
He stood quiet for a moment before he let out a sigh. "Why is it so hard to have one person just listen for once? How the hell am I supposed to control myself when he brings home the most disrespectful bitches on the planet"
"Excuse m... Before I could finish he pushed me onto the bed and held a knife to my throat the other hand in my hair. "Yes, you are excused. This is the only time I'll Excuse you for being disrespectful because if you don't straighten out I swear.
I will make life here for you very miserable and if you push my buttons hard enough you're going to end up buried in my fucking backyard. Do you understand? I just lay there in shock. "Answer me!" He yelled as he pressed one part of the knife into my neck.
"Yes," I just barely got out. Struggling to speak with the knife still on my neck. He removed the knife and then kissed my neck in the same spot. "Good girl," He said as he sat up. I could see the blood on his lips. "Oh I could get used to that sweet taste," He said with a grin before walking away.
I just lay there crying until I couldn't shed another tear. I got up, headed to the bathroom. I stared at the small cut on my neck in the mirror as I wet a towel, and held it there. I was sold to the devil. I thought as I made my way back to bed.
I was too weak now, but soon I'll escape this place. I'd rather struggle to survive in the woods alone. Then stay here, and marry that guy. I decided to read a book on my phone until sleep consumed me.
