"Krissy" her colleague, Sheila shouted from her working cubicle.

"Yes!" she looked up and asked her. Her colleague signalled her thumb to their boss room.

"He wants you now!" she screamed again. Krissy noted and walked towards her boss's room.

"Come in Krissy!" She entered when she heard his friendly voice.

"Yes boss, how can I help you?"

"Tomorrow we have a business banquet and you need to attend on behalf of me" her boss Joe Black informed.

"Why me, JB?"

"Why not you, Krissy? You will meet billionaires and handsome guys, use the opportunity wisely" advised JB.

"Oh! Come on JB, you know I am not interested in man" she scowled at him.

"Who cares about your interest? This is your work, no more discussion!" She has no choice to accept it.

"Hmmm! Why she is so stubborn not to be with a man, she is already 25 years old and doesn't have a boyfriend." JB was grumbling to himself.

Krisandra has been working for five years with JB once she finished her colleague, she didn't finish her study with flying colours but she is a very hardworking girl, fast learner and keens on learning new things. She was the youngest staff in his IT firm and he cares for her like a big brother.

A lot of his rich, handsome suppliers or customers have tried to date her but she never entertains them. At a glance, Krisandra is not the most beautiful woman in his office, but her smile and eyes attract many men. Her radiant eyes indirectly attract her opposite sex. She has a medium size of body and good figures too. She was not very fair but when she blushes her skin colour will change into a pinkie rose colour which makes her look outstanding.

"So how now?" Sheila asked her.

"Hmmm! He force me to go to a banquet tomorrow, I have no partner."

"Take Benny with you, he will be off tomorrow" she suggested.

"Will he go, he doesn't know anyone there even I don't know too" she sighed again.

"I really don't know what JB wants me to do there."

"He will follow you where ever you take him. Don't think too much, just have fun, okay?" Sheila winked at her.

"I will text him after work." Sheila nodded her head. Benny, Sheila's elder brother wanted to date Krissy a few months ago but she was not interested in him.

"Hi Benny, Krissy here, are you free tomorrow?" Krissy texted him. Benny was happy when Sheila told him about Krissy's problem and he was desperately waiting for her text.

"Yes, I am off tomorrow, why, you need anything from me?" he replied immediately.

"Hummm! Kind off, I am sure Sheila has told you so can you follow me?"

"Yeah! She did, ya I am fine to follow you, what time, where and dressing code? I will pick you up!"

"Dinner starts at 7 pm at X hotel, casual attire; you can pick me at 6.30 pm since it's near to me."

"Sure and is this a date for us?" Krissy was blushing when she read his message, what date now? Why he is thinking it is a date?

"No, a favour, I will treat you with a meal in the future." She is really not interested in a man. She has seen all types of men in her life. They are the most useless creature God has created mistakenly.

"Okay madam!" and he has a long face. He has been trying to date her for months but she never even want to go out for a casual dinner.

A car was honking at her when she was waiting in her apartment lobby. Benny waved his hand and she walked to his car. She was wearing a maroon colour with small black polka dots, a sleeveless long dress which has buttons from her chest until her knee. When she walked her fair calves can be seen in contrast with her dress colour. Matching with it, she had a maroon handbag and wore two-inch high heels.

"You look beautiful" his compliment made her blush and she looks outstanding.

"You look more beautiful when blush," he told her which made her feel shy. This was the first time for her to receive this type of compliment direct on the face.

"You look good too" she simply told him to remove the awkward environment in their car. He was wearing a white shirt with a light blue stripe and dark blue jeans with leather shoes. He does look smart in it and she watched him in the corner of her eyes. Sheila is a year elder than her so Benny must be much older than her. He looks smart but how come doesn't have a girlfriend?

Well, it is none of my business! In twenty minutes, they reached the five-star hotel, parked the car, and took the lift to the dinner floor. They walked together closely but their body was never touching. The food was served in the buffet style and its free sitting.

The VIP guest of the function is Mr Aditya Varman, the owner and founder of Adi Corporations. He has been overseas for the past ten years and returning to this country, his hometown. He plans to create a big market in this country for IT-related business. No wonder JB wants me to attend the banquet since we were invited as well.

The crowd is mostly men and the women can be counted. There are only about a hundred guests so it is important for JB but why he didn't attend it. He knows I am a very good salesperson, how fussy the customer is also I will manage to close the deal. So what deal do I need to close tonight or it's just an introduction?

I went through about Aditya Varman from Adi Corporations on the internet. Hmmm! He is thirty years old, tall, smart, and tan in colour. His character doesn't look so nice, basically, he is a powerful billionaire playboy. He never leaves a beautiful woman and he has a few girlfriends in a year, so how many in ten years? Well, none of my business!

"He is here" Benny whispered in her ears.

"Who?" She looked up at Benny.

"The respectful guest of this dinner."

"Oh! I see!" I told him nonchalantly while still looking at my phone.

"That's all?" he asked me in surprise.

"Yes, what can I do? They send us an invitation and we are here to show respect, that's all!" She explained to him and he nodded quietly.

Benny was surprised by Krissy's behaviour and she is not aware of how powerful is Aditya. If other women, they would have dressed sexily to make sure they can seduce and have a night with him. All the reporters and guests were rushing to welcome him. Krissy and Benny were standing at the same spot without moving an inch. The crowd was following Aditya Varman who walked straight inside and glanced at them.

She was talking to Benny and didn't realize that Aditya Varman glanced at her while he walked away. Aditya Varman was giving his speech and kept on looking at her. Who is this woman and why she is so attractive for my eyes? He scanned her from top to bottom and his eyes stopped at her fair and slim calves. He felt a hit in his heart and wanted to have her there itself.

"Find out about the woman in the maroon dress, I want her tonight on my bed in an hour time." He whispered to his assistant David.

David was not surprised by Aditya's request and this is normal. When David approaches a woman on behalf of his boss the woman will be ever ready to have fun with his boss but this woman looks too homely. When he checked her data based on the invitation, nothing much came out about her.

Her name is Krisandra, 25 years old, staying alone and working details. David whispered to Aditya about her and he smiled evilly.

"Less problem, make her unconscious a little, I want her to enjoy too" Aditya whispered to David and he nodded. Krisandra never talked to anyone and not much with Benny. David approached her in a very friendly manner.

"Ms Krisandra, I am David, Mr Aditya's assistant, can I have a word with you in private regarding your company, please" she nodded and walked with him to a table at the corner near a door. About half an hour later David signalled a waiter to bring some juice for them.

"I assume you don't drink alcohol so here you can have some fresh juice" he gave a glass of juice from the tray which the waiter brought to him.

"Thank you" and took few sips from the straw. Aditya was watching her drinking the juice from far. She was hungry and hadn't her dinner so finished the juice. David continued to discuss with her and about fifteen minutes later she felt was having a headache. Her body was very hot.

"Are you okay? Why suddenly you look so red?" David was pretending he was concern about her.

"I don't know suddenly my head is throbbing in pain and I can feel my body is very hot," she told him innocently.

"There will be a doctor in the hotel, let me bring you to him, okay?" She agreed immediately. David signalled to Aditya and took her to his presidential suite of the hotel.

"You rest here, I will ask the doctor to attend you in short while, I need to take care of the guests."

"I am very sorry David to trouble you."

"It's okay, you rest first." She nodded and went inside the room. She lay on the bed, her eyes were closing by themselves and she felt very drowsy. She was going into sleep mode when she heard someone open the room door.

When she opened her eyes she didn't see the doctor but she saw a handsome face very close to her and his lips warm lips were her lips. She felt she has seen him and he looks very familiar. The feeling of his lips on her was nice so she pulled his collar when he moved away.

"Be patient baby, we have a night to enjoy!" he told her.

"Enjoy what? Who are you?" she asked him while giggling.

"JB, can I have a week leave, I have some emergency in my hometown, need to rush back" she texted JB.

She called a cab and went to the nearest 24 hours clinic. The doctor was a lady in mid-forties and she did all the routine check to confirm Krisandra was fine.

"What happen?" the doctor was shocked to see her face in a pale color.

"My period delayed by three to four weeks doctor."

"Oh, it's normal unless you are married, are you married?" Her face changed even paler.

"Are you suspecting pregnant?" The lady doctor was stammering when she asked Krisandra. She nodded while her eyes were in red color and full of tears.

"Don't worry, we can make a test and confirm it, who knows it was just a delay, okay?" the doctor tried to console her and she nodded.
