Kayla's POV ( point of view)

I flipped through the pages of my school notes as I scanned every written notes, just reading my notes.

I just felt like today cause it's not my thing.

I yawned heavily as sleep was finally crawling into my eyes, finally I flunged the book sideways of my lagre room resting fully on my queen sized bed.

Thinking about tomorrow makes me happy a lot, finally I will be visiting Jeju island, the highest mountain in South Korea.

I have browsed a lot about it and it's such a beautiful place. My happiness knew no bounds, am damn anxious wishing the Time flies so fast, Just remaining eight more hours to go cause we the students are to get to school as early as possible, those who payed the fees though.

I heard footsteps and I knew it was my mum, I hid under the sheets , that Cranky woman.

" C'mon pull off those duvets and stop decieving yourself, I know you aren't sleeping! Oh my gosh, you haven't even taken your night bath. C'mon don't be a dirty girl " mum yelled spanking my ass so hard and I chuckled slightly throwing the duvets aside.

" Mummmmm... But I was sleeping" I said with a fake yawn.

" The Kayla I know hardly sleeps, always practicing night vigil and that's why you're lean like a broom" mum joked and I laughed so hard.

Mum was right, I do stay up late at night doing all sort of researches online with my Phone , someday I wish to become an explorer but that's opposite of mum's decision, Just too over protective.

Mum suddenly pulled me closer stroking my hair.

" Am gonna miss you a lot Kayla " mum said and I let out a short laugh.

" But mum , it's just a two days excursion but don't worry ! I will be fine" I assured and she kissed me passionately on my forehead.

" I know, just be careful, be a good girl and stay away from anything that will hurt you okay? Mum loves you a million times and don't forget to have your bath " she said and we both did the love sign before she stood up to leave.

Mum cherishes me so much since am her only child after dad died, oh yes am fatherless since year two according to mum. He died of brain cancer, it's a long story which I have no time to spare to explain all that.

I just live alone with my mom, thankfully dad left a lot of properties and mom took over as the new CEO, no family disturbance and since then, we have been living all alone for the past Fourteen years since father left us . if you're smart, you will get my age .

I stood up lazily to the bathroom like mum ordered and had a warm bath which made me feel better and comfortable.

I spent a longer time there as I laid on the bath tub with bubbles all over my body imagining how jeju Island would be so beautiful. Wow ! The name sounds so funny,very funny.

After for what seems like eternity, I came out of the toilet and wrapped a pink towel round my chest drying my leg on the pink doormat.

I dried my body moving to my wardrobe which was painted pink and decided to put on a pink nightie .

I slipped on the sparkling pink nightie and then packed my hair in a bun style before using a hair cover.

Proceeding to dress my bed, pink in colour and also pink blankets, you will think am crazy but am not but crazily in love with letter P which stands for pink.

I so much love the pink colour, its beautiful .

Every single thing occupying my room was all in the pink colour even my back pack, my hair bond , clothes , underwear and everything. Most especially my large pink teddy, the one I admire most.

Curling myself like ball after placing my teddy closer and pulling the duvet which stops at my waist , I tried to sleep but sleep was far away from me , damn far. Anxiousness beclouded everything in me thinking about jeju Island. I looked at my portable box which was neatly arranged by my lovely mum, the things in the box are the materials I need for the excursion, just two days seems like two years to my mum . It was a beautifully designed pink box !

My phone pinged indicating a message came in, it also has a pink pouch . It was my crazy bestie named Briella.

" Hey bbi , sleeping?"

I read the message silently and chuckled slightly.

" Of course no! I can't wait for the excursion , trip to jeju Island! " I typed and inserted a lovely sticker before pressing the send button.

After waiting for few minutes without reply, I dived online researching about unusual things and also reading the all kind of news ranging from general, entertainment, politics, sports and everything else.

Something caught my attention and I quickly visited the page.

TEN DEMONS THAT DO EXISTS

I laughed so hard, such a fake news , demons don't exist, just fun any ways.

They were ten in number but only one demon still lives, others are no longer alive .

Somehow, it gave me chills.

I began reading more about it and found out , it was the most wicked demon living for thousands of years and usually feeds On human blood .

" Human blood! " I exclaimed, so irritating making me wanna puke , I was getting scared already, I hate horror movies and this looks like a horror story to me.

But something is strange ! How can a demon feed on human blood when it's not a vampire or is it a demon vampire.

Crazy !

Well, I don't believe in those shit just that it's giving me creeps.

The picture of the so called demon was not fully shown and kinda blurry.

I rushed out of the page and switched off my phone, I hate scary things, I will began imagining horrific things.

Pulling the duvet above my head and forcing my self to sleep but seems impossible.

" It is the most wicked demon and has lived for a thousands years, it feeds on human blood"

It keeps ringing on my head making me feel goosebumps all over my body .

I tried to believe it's just a fabricated story but half of my body is disagreeing to that .

Finally standing up and tiptoeing out of my room,I moved to the dining and swallowed two pills of sleeping drug laying on the table and accompanied it with a glass of water.

I sighed heavily and tiptoed back to my room to avoid mum's knowledge.

Before I knew it ! Sleep visited me.

" Let me go ! Who are you " I yelled in pains as I struggled out of the chains used to bind me.

His wicked laughter filled the empty room sounding treble, I was scared.

I wasn't in a good shape as I was badly injured with my scattered hair. Blood was dripping down the part binded by the chains, I cried in Agony.

" We have just only few time left to begin our mission on the 21st generation" His voice sounded so loud and authoritative as the ground shook and the window dabbed.

There was heavy breeze together with lightening and I was only able to view his back, he was clothed in a black cloak as he backed me.

" What do you want from me! Who are you " I asked as some of my hair already sticked to my face.

" You will know soon,Just soon."

I woke up from the nightmare sweating profusely as my hear raced, what sort of a dream was that.

It was somewhat similar with repeated dreams I had every three months but this one was more scary and looks real

I couldn't even understand it, what's wrong with me today. This is so unusual and it's giving me creeps . Argggg!

I looked at the big round clock and it was already past two at midnight, I rarely wake up at the middle of sleep. Today is kinda wired!

I couldn't even sleep anymore as sleep vacated my eyes, even sleeping pills doesn't works, how pathetic !.

The heavy breeze blew indicating it's about to rain, I curled my self like a ball trying to sleep but sleep already travelled from my eyes.

All that filled my mind was the wierd news and wierd dream or it a bad sign I shouldn't attend the excursion?.

Third person point of view (POV)

IN AN UNKNOWN PLACE IN THE WOODS.

Thunder strucked and the earth shooked vigorously, lightening came like a flash giving the dark night a little light for a little period of time.

There was a rushing cloud as the thunder rumbled so loudly.

Torkel was sitting in front of the fireside feeling the warmth as he stared directly at the fire which provide light .

Aiden and Matilda sat side by side of their father torkel staring also at the fire.

Matilda looks so mean with her long white hair with red eyes , pointed nose and her standing firm nose as she spread out her hands, she was exceptionally a beautiful lady.

Aiden was muscular and taller with just a similarity with Matilda which was the red eyes, he has a black gel hair coiling at its ends, he was exceptionally handsome. Sweat dripping down his well built body as he was shirtless, his full six pacs were all fully shown .

His full white beards and white hairs were enough to confirm Torkel was no longer getting younger, he was getting closer to his grave . He was a very powerful and wise man , "THE RALPH " was his nickname.

He lives alone with his children in the woods.

" The time is near as it nears the more so as my days are numbered " Torkel spoke after an hour of silence.

" I smell danger! Danger lurks around, i can feel it " Matilda said with action staring directly at the fire as her eyes travelled so far to the extent she can see the future, she is gifted in that.

Aiden said nothing.

" And that danger is near, the end of the world is near and it musn't happen. NOMED ' TSEGNORTS EHT' , he musn't achieve his aims, he must go down !" Torkel spoke authoritatively.

" And you both can do that " Torkel added and Matilda looked at him cluelessly including Aiden.

" You will both understand soon " Torkel said stood up going into his small hut, he stopped at the entrance.

" The great battle is near and you will fight it , I might not be able to witness it! " Torkel said and went in fully .

Aiden and Matilda stared at their selves with unknown expression. Without saying a word!, They both went inside the hut they shared with their father for many years.

Mrs Kim's Piont of view (Kayla's mum)

" And always remember something, obedience pays a lot, Kayla, you know you're the only one I have , don't do anything that will make me lose you , stay safe kaylie! Mummy loves you ! " I said hiding back my tears as I stared at my beautiful sixteen years daughter! Somehow I felt so strange Seeing her leave my sight. She hugged me all of a sudden and caressed my cheeks.

" Mum! Stop making me feel like a kid ! Am sixteen for crying out loud ! And besides it's just two days excursion and I will be back. Don't worry mum, trust your smart daughter, she will be fine . I love you mummy , so peck me ! " Kayla said bringing her cheeks closer and I pecked her slightly.

She bade me goodbye and ran in holding her portable pink box for the excursion , I mean school and I forced a smile, I don't understand myself this minute .

I slipped into my car and drove to my company which still remains 'The Kim's group of company'.

I love driving myself so it's useless employing a driver.

Arriving at my company, the staff members were lined up in a two rows at the entrance as they bowed . One at my left and the other at my right, I walked in elegantly straight to my office which was neartly arranged and cleaned as the Air conditioner made the office cool, I slipped into my office chair and began swinging from one side to the other.

Kayla filled my thought, being a mother can be disturbing at times, my mind couldn't rest a bit. I need to know either she is fine every minute or not, she is all I have . I feel so empty and scared, this is so unusual.

" Ma! Here is you coffee" the secretary words jerked me back from my thoughts and I sighed signalling her to place it on my desk. Never even knew when she knocked.

" And also ma! You have almost seven contracts with six different popular companies in Seoul. The knight group of companies, the .." I cut her short with a wave of hand, can't she just figure out through my facial expression that am in the mood.

" That's enough! Terminate them all " I said sipping the hot coffee and she looked at me shockingly, her name was Andrea.

" You mean I should m" She asked to be sure and I nodded positively , she looked at me wierdly and walked out.

She doesn't know what's bothering me!

Kayla's Point of view

Staring back at mum to see she has left made me feel like half of me left, am gonna miss her though but my joy knew no bounds as I could not still believe am visiting Jeju island, like seriously.

So many students were all packaging their box neatly, thankfully, mum did mine already.

Benefits of having a sweet mother , someone hugged me from behind and immediately I knew it was Briella cause of her body scent.

" Good morning Briella " I greeted smiling radiantly at her .

" Ooops you can't be romantic for once ! at least baby , darling, sweetheart , bestie not calling my name, it sounds so boring" she complained and I laughed so hard.

" So do I look like your boyfriend to you! Oh come of it! Your name is Briella and infact, brie ! Brie " I joked and she hit me playfully on my arm as we headed into our classroom.

" Oh Christ! That's even worse, please Briella is okay " she said as we finally got to the classroom, class five

I was in class five.

" Hey Kayla " my friends all greeted and I waved at them all going towards my seat holding my small portable pink bag carefully, then placing it on the desk make me sigh heavily as if I was released of the load. How lazy I am !

" Hey kayla ! Good morning " that was Wyatt's voice, a guy am heavily crushing on.

He was the most handsome guy in Kings and Queens college, oh yeah that's the name of my school.

I spinned and faced him

" Hi Wyatt ! How are you " I asked staring at him biting my lower lips as my heart beat raced.

" Am fine ! " He said and winked at me before leaving, that alone sent butterflies to my belly.

I stared at him till he was out of my sight.

Who wouldn't crush on a guy like him ?

Talk of physical appearance, he is damn hot and when it comes to academics, His brain works like an electronic device.

Perfect isn't it ?

Someone spanked me so hard which happens to be my crazy bestie.

" Forgotten someone was here because of you saw your heartbeat , your crush... " she listed and I covered her mouth pinching her so hard.

" Thats still a secret " I said and she chuckled slightly.

" Everyone knows Wyatt to be a loving and jovial person so don't feel on top of the world cause he said hi first "

I glared at Briella and she laughed so hard, this girl is not serious at all.

" I need the Senior students out of their class rooms " that was the dean's voice and we all rushed out holding our boxes .

" Guess what ! We are gonna be making use of train , we are heading to the train station and I guess that's why the Dean is calling for our attention. Let's go to assembly ground" I gasped as Briella whispered.

" Seriously! That will be a wonderful adventure! Jeju island here we go!"

Still on Kayla's Point Of View .

The train moved slowly and I jotted down every single places we passed, we are heading to Jeju Island. I sat close to the window and Briella sat beside me, that talkative won't stop talking even when I tried to to stop her..

Waytt was in the second row, Raynell sat beside him and tried engaging him in a conversation as the train moved.

Raynell was a girl in same class with me.

I so much disliked Raynell, she is proud, sassy and rude.

She behaves anyhow just because she is the most richest kid in school.

My hatred for her grew when I noticed she liked Wyatt and how she had tried been close to him.

She throws herself at him and tried seducing him at times , I just hate seeing them both .

Maybe i was jealous .

I hardly talk to Wyatt and he hardly does also, I just secretly admire him and mostly steal glances at him in class.

I strained my ears to see if I could hear what they were both discussing about but i couldn't , Wyatt was even laughing.

I folded my fist filled with jealousy.

Raynell stylishly pressed her breast against his arm pretending to remove something from his hair.

I felt like punching the hell out of her ugly face.

" Calm down miss ! If glares could kill, am sure someone would have been dead by now . Someone is jealous " Briella made mockery of me and I hissed at her .

She began laughing at me taunting me at same time .

I directed my gaze to both of them again and he was even smiling at her, I decided to face the window side when I couldn't watch anymore.

" Look ! They are about kissing " Briella whispered and i turned swiftly only to find out she was lying.

" You're crazy ! " I remarked smirking and faced the window ignoring Briella talks.

Somehow I felt lonely leaving my dearest mum , I miss her, now I left Busan heading to Jeju Island but there is still a lot of fun to catch, I guess this excursion is gonna be a blast.

We were like fifty in the train Or more than.

The excursion was for only the senior students if not , we would have been more than that.

We passed through many different places which was fun , soon Briella was tired of talking and soon slept off on my shoulders. I sighed staring at her beautiful face, her parents are really trying to cope with talkative like her.

I looked at the direction of wyatt and found out Raynell was sleeping on his shoulders.

" That bitch ! " I remarked gulping so hard.

I fixed my head phones with 'Senorita' playing , I was enjoying it , drumming slightly with my fingers on my note pad.

I don't wanna think about them anymore but it hurts seeing your crush flirting with another girl.

My mind drifted to the wierd dream I had last night and also the wierd news, I gulped so hard.

I should have informed my mum but I don't want to stress that innocent woman, she would become damn worried.

Maybe it's just a nightmare .

Soon I drifted to a deep sleep due to tiredness.

I followed in suit as he kept walking down the hallway counting his steps, a bright light shown on both of us but we never bulge. He was a very tall huge man always in a black cloak and red relaxed hair, he looks so unusual despite I never saw his face for once.

" Kayla ! Kayla! Kayla! Kayla! Kayla! Kayla! " I heard voices yelling and screaming my name but I never turned. It was as if I was controlled following an unknown man .

" Oh wake up sleepy head" Briella spanked me so hard making me jerk from my wierd dream. My heart was skipping so fast as I was sweating profusely, not again! .

" We are here ! We are here ! " Briella screamed almost bursting my eardrums.

I thought she was sleeping few hours ago.

I smiled contently as we all came down gently from the train ! It was indeed a beautiful island.

It was late in the evening and everyone was looking so tired.

Wow filled the whole place, it was extremely a beautiful place, I wanted to shout due to too much excitement .

The breeze alone was enough to wipe away one's sorrow,everywhere was so beautiful, the waters were so blue.

I scanned for Wyatt and Raynell with my eyes but I guess they must have been lost among the students.

We were all directed to the camp that was lodged, we couldn't Lodge a hotel because of the population.

We were grouped in three's

It happened I, Briella and one other girl who is named audrey was in the same tent .

" Please you should all have your rest , it's late already so tomorrow, let's all get ready to explore Jeju Island. Be warned, do not leave your tents unless for important reasons " The Principal announced and there was cheers from the students. Boys camp was different from girls camp .

I fell heavily on the small sized bed Provided by the camp we Lodged, it was even three in number with light stand, so portable.

Dropping my pink bag beside the small sized bed , i rushed and took my bath and then changed to a casual wear and then pulled my phone out dialling my mum's number !. She picked almost immediately, hearing her sweet voice again made me smile.

" Baby ! Hope you're fine?have you eaten? hope you had rest ? Why didn't you pick my calls? you got me worried ." Mum asked at nonstop and I sighed heavily.

" Mummy! Am fine, I just arrived , I never saw your calls " I replied already weared out.

"Okay baby ! Am missing you so much, please take care of yourself and be careful , I will call you before you sleep, kisses darling! " Mum said and I could hear her blowing kisses, I smiled satisfactorily.

" Okay mum ! I will be fine, bye mum " I said and she ended the call.

I smiled and kissed the phone, mum is just too caring , I suddenly felt that loneliness again, I miss mum a lot.

I looked up and found Audrey staring at me , Briella wasn't in the tent .

" Why are you staring at me like that?" I asked looking at her wierdly.

" Nothing ! I just admire you both , I wish I had a mum " she said sadly and I felt for her.

She was in same class with me but hardly speaks , am surprised she spoke to me.

" Ouch! Sorry about that ! Is she dead? "I asked and she nodded positively sinking herself to the sheets , I guess she was hurt .

Just then , Briella came in carrying a tray of meal, I guess that's dinner.

" Oh Mrs chef , how did you dissapear and how did you get this " I asked and she let out a short laugh.

" Am damn hungry so I need to get something, thank God there was a cook employed so her duty is to serve everyone " she said and dropped the tray giving everyone including Audrey who had dried her eyes.

It was even rice cakes , I love eating it alot.

" Hey girls , if you know you don't eat outside food , am available cause I don't select , am referring to folks like Kayla who only eats mum's food , I can eat yours " Briella said and I rolled my eyes at her, I began scoping the food fastly while she laughed so hard.

I suddenly lost appetite remembering my dream earlier on.It's giving me chills and making me feel so unsual most especially when I never told mum.

" Kayla! What's wrong?" Briella asked looking at me as she noticed my changed expression and I sighed.

" I have been having nightmares since yesterday, it's giving chills and making me feel something bad is about to happen . Though I've had similar dreams but the ones have been dreaming lately are kinda scary ". I explained and Briella chuckled not taking the matter seriously.

" It happens most times so don't think much about it, should I take your meal " she asked and I hissed loudly.

" You're not always serious ! " I said abandoning the food and resting fully on my bed with different thoughts on my head.

" You're right Kayla! Something bad is about to happen which includes you and you must be careful." Audrey said after some minutes of silence.

" What did you say" I asked her to be sure.

" Oh nothing ! I was just talking to myself" she said and Briella eyed her suspiciously , I gulped so hard and picked up my phone playing games to wipe off my scary thinking's .

Briella took my remaining dinner and ate all, such a foodie!

|•| Later at Night |•|

I kept playing games feeling the cold of the night , Audrey was asleep already remaining Briella who won't stop talking, explaining histories just talking at non stop.

" I need to just stroll around, I would be back " I informed standing up as I threw my phone aside.

" Braking the rules? "

" Buh I need fresh air. I promise I would be careful " I said making funny faces at Briella.

" I would have have followed you buh am feeling so heavy with sleep right now. Just be careful " Briella Said sleepily and in few minutes, she fell asleep.

Such a drama queen.

I moved out of the tent and the cool breeze hit me, I never forgot to come out with my headphones.

Everywhere was silent apart from other houses and buildings around.

Surprisingly, all students were asleep.

Who wouldn't sleep off after the long journey.

I moved around feeling refreshed and enjoying the music playing in my head phones.

I suddenly stopped on my tracks noticing a shadow.
