Chapter 1 Identity swap

London, August 12, 1990.

In the most luxurious part of the city and in the middle of the night, children's cries could suddenly be heard. Celina is the nanny of the Elizabeth family, currently anxiously waiting for her lady to give birth to an angel. She was attracted by the sound of babies crying, not from the delivery room but the front door of the big house. Celina hesitated for a long time and then went to see what was happening.

She crept through the bushes, and the further she went, the louder the wailing sound became. Then suddenly, she covered her mouth. "Oh my God. An abandoned child?"

Celina made the sign of the cross and silently called to God. An insect was biting the poor baby, which appeared to be only a few days old. Its red skin and small body were writhing and choking.

Celina gently picked up the baby and looked around to find the baby's relatives, but no one seemed to be nearby. She guessed the baby had been abandoned for a long time because its whole body was cold. Maybe it was because it was hungry and hard that it squealed like that.

After a moment of hesitation, Celina carried the baby into the house and hid it in her room. Perhaps she will tell this to the lady after she gives birth safely. When she put the baby down, the little girl lost the warmth of Celina's arms and burst into tears. For fear of affecting the lady, Celina sat down and drew the breast to feed the baby. Celina felt warm looking at the hungry little girl trying to suck milk from her breasts. Due to the hurry, the baby choked on milk, his face was red, and the sound from his throat came out with difficulty. Celina hugged her and patted her back to comfort her. Then she suddenly noticed that on the baby's towel, there was a delicately embroidered word Lucasta.

"Your name is Lucasta, isn't it, daughter?" Celina gently stroked Lucasta's tiny hands.

After patting Lucasta to sleep, Celina returned to the lady's delivery room and waited for the good news.

The young man kept pacing in front of the room. He is the head of the famous Elizabethan family and eagerly awaits his first child.

Nolan planned the future for his baby before it was even born. If it were his son, he would raise him well and hand over all his possessions to the boy. And if it was a girl, Nolan hadn't thought about it; in his heart, he had always longed for a son who could help him carry the Elizabethan family in the future.

"Nolan, calm down; God bless us." Celina smiled gently and comforted her young father.

Nolan nodded, instead of pacing as he had initially sat down and started reading, but for a whole day still, no words could enter Nolan's head.

The obstetrician pushed open the door of the delivery room and called out to Celina with a tense face. "I have something I need your help with."

"What's going on? How is she? Have you given birth yet?" Nolan repeatedly asked, rarely seeing this young billionaire so impatient.

"Please wait a little longer." The doctor clenched his sweaty hands, trying to hide his fear.

Celina followed the doctor into the room, not understanding why her heart was beating so intensely. When the doctor held the baby and gave it to Celina, she was shocked and stared at the pale baby with her eyes closed in the scarf around her body.

"Oh my God! What happened here?" Celina wondered, her trembling hands holding the baby that had lost all its life. "Is the girl still alive?"

"It's dead." Lady Clara said bitterly. Her hands clenched the sheets tightly, her face white and sweaty from a newborn but still not losing the inherent beauty of London's most beautiful woman. "Maybe we should do something."

Celina was speechless for a while; Clara forced herself to sit up and gave Celina an order. "Bring it here."

The baby was held in front of Clara; she gently touched the baby's small, tightly pursed lips; her face was expressionless and coldly said. "Bring it and don't let my husband know this."

"How can we hide this from Sir Elizabeth, madam? It was breaking news." Celina is worried.

"I called you in here to ask for your help; you have to find me another baby and hide this. If this tells Nolan, he will definitely hate me and I will have no place in the family." What Clara cared about was probably not the child's life or death but her position later in the Elizabethan family.

Celina hesitated and was scared but did not dare to disobey Clara's orders; when she was still thinking about where to find the newborn baby, she suddenly remembered Lucasta. "Ma'am, I just picked up a little girl a few days old and perhaps suitable for our child."

Clara thought for a moment, then nodded. "Okay, bring it here." Then he turned to look at the doctor, pale with fear. "This must not be revealed publicly, if I let Nolan know about me, I will definitely make you miserable."

The obstetrician wiped the sweat from his forehead and nodded repeatedly. "Yes madam."

Thanks to the excellent cooperation of the doctor and Celina, the actual baby of the Elizabeth family was brought out, buried in a place no one knows, not even a name. And an unknown child-like Lucasta became the daughter of this noble family.

The obstetrician, trembling, did not dare to look Nolan in the eye and announced in a low voice. "Congratulations, sir, your daughter has been delivered safely."

There was a bit of disappointment in Nolan's heart, but it quickly disappeared when he saw the small face and those blue eyes staring at him, the joy of being a father for the first time spreading on the face of a cold person like Nolan. He lowered his head and gently kissed his baby's tiny hand. "Welcome to this world, darling."

"You may visit the lady." Celina lowered her head to hide her bloodshot eyes.

Nolan went in to visit Clara, affectionately placing a tender kiss on her forehead. "Thank you, honey. After you get better we will travel together and I promise to give you anything you want."

Clara smiled happily, not looking like a mother who had just lost a child. "It's my duty."

"What should we name the baby?" Nolan consulted Clara, shyly smiling. "I was thinking of a name for our son and I'm so sorry I forgot it could have been a baby angel."

"Lucasta, okay?" Clara asked. Initially, she didn't mind this; Celine said the girl's name was Lucasta, so call her Lucasta.

"Lucasta, it's not a bad name, it must have taken you a long time to think of this name for our baby." Nolan hugged Clara happily.

When Lucasta was three years old, Clara became pregnant again, but an unexpected incident happened. Lucasta accidentally bumped into Clara while she was going down the stairs and caused Clara to have a miscarriage. The doctor announced that it was a boy, and the bad thing was that Clara would no longer be able to get pregnant. At first, Clara just didn't care about Lucasta, but after that incident, she grew to detest Lucasta.

Lucasta grew up with the love of Celina and the superficiality of a busy father, not without Clara's bitterness.

Thought Lucasta's life could pass peacefully, but no. The most significant turning point in Lucasta's life came when she was 15 years old, and her father died suddenly in a plane crash.

A war for property broke out fiercely in the entire Elizabeth family; although Clara was a wife but had no son, she was considered an outsider by everyone and was kicked out of the house without a penny. Now all her hatred is on Lucasta even though all the blame is not on her; Clara gnaws and torments Lucasta everywhere as long as she sees Lucasta.

Clara had more than half a happy life, so that she couldn't stand the hard life, so she abandoned Lucasta to Celina and wanted to return to her mother's house to enjoy happiness. However, her biological mother also passed away after a year, and no one could stand Clara's arrogant temper; once again, she was kicked out.

After a few years of moving out, Celina contracted cancer and had no money for treatment, so she passed away. Lucasta was only 17 years old and had to work outside to make ends meet and raise a mother who used money like water.

At the age of 20, Lucasta, thanks to her natural talent for acting, was specially recruited to the Belin School of the Arts, and that changed her entire life later.

Chapter 2 Lucasta’s boyfriend

London, June 20, 2015.

"Back again."

"Quick fast again."

The director ruffled his bald head and shouted angrily. "Fiona, you focus a bit, you are playing the role of the underdog why do your eyes always want to tear Lucasta apart?"

Fiona raised her eyebrows at the director and then back at Lucasta. "I found this script too dry and boring; I think I should add some details to make this part more interesting; what do you think Lucasta?"

Lucasta, who was practicing reading lines, also raised her head, a bright smile on her beautiful face. "I hope you guide me more."

Slap!

As Lucasta finished speaking, a firm slap landed on her face, causing Lucasta's smile to become distorted with pain.

Everyone present in the film crew was surprised to see two young actresses, Lucasta Elizabeth and Fiona Sarah.

"This... doesn't seem to be in the script." Director Max looked awkwardly at Lucasta, the victim of a slap from Fiona.

Fiona rubbed her hand, cooing. "I just wanted to create a little more content for the script to create more drama. Lucasta also agreed, how can I help her passion for learning."

"But your role is a gentle wife; how can you beat others?" Max is not very pleased with Fiona's spontaneous actions, which turn the character he worked hard on into corrupt.

"No matter how gentle a wife is when she sees her husband cheating, she will behave like me. Can you bear it?" Fiona arrogantly looked at Lucasta.

"Yes." Lucasta rubbed her red cheeks. She is just a supporting actress, and Fiona is the main female lead; she has no right to argue with her. "I can handle it, director; it's okay."

Max saw that Lucasta understood, and his sympathy for her also increased. Lucasta is the female role model in his movie this time, but Fiona has someone to back it up and take it from an investor; he has no choice but to agree.

Max shouted. "Come back."

"When filming, I usually don't like to pretend, when hitting or punching we should all do it for the best effect, I slap it, don't you mind?"

"Yes," Lucasta nodded.

Slap!

Slap! Slap! Slap!

The slaps like heaven continuously landed on Lucasta's face. Her white face was now clearly marked by five finger marks, but Lucasta still had to smile patiently.

After five or six shoots, Fiona complained to the director. "Stop it director, my hand hurts."

Lucasta's eyes were red, her aunt's face was beaten without daring to say a word, and people yelled at her to hurt her hand.

"You should practice more than Lucasta; and your acting is so bad. Even if I give you another ten years, I don't think you can play on the same level as me." Fiona pursed her lips in disdain, then turned to go inside.

"I will try harder, thank you for teaching." Lucasta forced a smile and bowed respectfully from behind, even though Fiona didn't mind her sincerity at all.

Lucasta always had the feeling that Fiona didn't seem to like her; ever since they worked together, Fiona was always giving her a hard time. However, Lucasta pushed that thought out of her head and thought that Fiona just wanted to be friendly, so she was strict with her, which made Lucasta more comfortable when facing Fiona.

The scene is temporarily paused, which means Lucasta will have to receive a few more slaps in the next shot. Seeing that Fiona had just come in, there was a special care assistant; Lucasta felt a little embarrassed and found a corner of the tree to sit down. She tilted her head back to take a sip of water and rubbed the swollen wound on her cheek.

Lucasta turned on her phone, disappointment engulfing her instantly. She is apprehensive because of the sudden disappearance of her boyfriend for more than a week. At first, she thought it was because he didn't want to bother her when she got a new role, but looking at the number of messages she sent him with no response, she started to think negatively.

When she took the initiative to call Athelstan, what she always received was a long ring and then ended, or Athelstan would rush to say that he was busy and did not have time to talk to her.

Once again Lucasta called Athelstan but she still only received a bland ringing, when she had lost hope, suddenly the phone was picked up by someone.

"Is that you, Athelstan?" Lucasta was eager and looking forward to Athelstan's voice.

"Hi Lucasta, sorry I'm not Athelstan, and that might disappoint you." Athelstan's assistant teases Lucasta because her secret relationship with Athelstan is only understood by assistant Sherwin.

Lucasta hummed, covering her disappointment with a question. "Is Athelstan very busy right now? But I remember he didn't have any recent projects."

"He is busy handling some business in the family company. You knew that the Vincent family was also a big tycoon. Except as a celebrity, he has to inherit property later on."

"I see. You remind him to take care of his health." Lucasta is very worried about Athelstan; every time he works, he forgets to take care of his health.

"I have good news to tell you." Sherwin appeared mysterious, then revealed. "Tonight, Athelstan will return to London and take a room at the Rose Hotel."

Lucas was surprised. "I didn't hear him mention it."

Sherwin also didn't understand why Athelstan hadn't told Lucasta, and then he laughed. "Maybe he wants to surprise you, anyway the schedule of a star like Athelstan should not be revealed, it would affect his personal space a lot and Athelstan hates it. "

A bright smile appeared on Lucasta's face, but because of the swelling on her face, she winced in pain. "Thank you for the good news but please don't tell Athelstan that I already know he's here, I want to give him a bigger surprise than what he gave me."

Athelstan's assistant was very supportive of Lucasta and silently sent her the address of the room, even instructing the hotel to give Lucasta a spare key.

Chapter 3 Fiona's boyfriend is also him

In her glee, Lucasta overheard Fiona talking to her assistant. "My boyfriend came to visit me; I guess I should tell the director to move the scene back to tomorrow. I had to put on pretty makeup to meet him."

Because most of Lucasta's scenes involved Fiona, after Fiona left the set Lucasta also became free. So she asked the director's permission to return early; she wanted to go to the cake shop to buy ingredients and prepare Athelstan's birthday cake. This is the first year she and Athelstan celebrate his birthday with Athelstan; he will indeed be surprised because Athelstan never told Lucasta his actual date of birth. His accurate information is different from what is displayed on social media.

It took Lucasta more than four hours to finish her cake. According to Athelstan's assistant, it was probably after eight o'clock that Athelstan returned to the hotel because he had a necessary party to attend at six.

Lucasta was in an eager mood to open the door. Inside is still a luxurious space that is as minimalist as possible, highly suitable to Athelstan's personality.

"I will give him a surprise that he will never forget." Lucasta said to herself and chuckled.

When she saw that Athelstan's suitcase of clothes was still, Lucasta got to work. She meticulously hooked each shirt on a hook and hung it in the closet; each pair of pants was also cherished by her. When she touched them, she smelled the distinct seductive scent of Athelstan whenever they were near each other. When she thought about his journey with Athelstan together, Lucasta felt strangely lightheaded. Two years ago, she was still just a graduate student, and Athelstan was a famous actor across the country; he was sought after and often became the new icon of the entertainment world. For Athelstan, Lucasta both secretly loved and admired, he was her first idol, and she never thought she could talk to Athelstan for more than two sentences. Let's not talk about being his girlfriend, so when Athelstan asked her, she immediately agreed without thinking.

Thinking of Athelstan, Lucasta always smiled innocently and proudly. She wants to let everyone know that a wonderful man like Athelstan is her lover. However, for the past two years, her relationship with Athelstan has remained a secret, and Lucasta is the one who always takes the initiative. She thought maybe Athelstan didn't like to show off, and Lucasta didn't want others to believe she relied on Athelstan for fame, so she agreed with Athelstan not to go public with their relationship.

Lost in thought, Lucasta heard footsteps approaching the door. At first, Lucasta wanted to stand at the door and greet Athelstan with fireworks and a kiss. However, this thought was immediately dismissed by Lucasta because she thought that Athelstan certainly did not like the cheesy. He likes things that are simple yet sophisticated.

With that thought, Lucasta hid in the closet and stayed there; she would hug Athelstan from behind and tell him how much she missed him.

Lucasta's smile and excitement disappeared and were replaced by the confusion of hearing Athelstan talking to someone with an indulgence Lucasta had never seen in Athelstan; he always treated her politely; but far away.

"I'm sorry for the flight delay and I arrived later than expected, I will definitely make up for you next time." Athelstan spoke softly.

"I had to quit my job and come here to wait for you for more than two hours. It makes me so sad because I miss you so much." A soft female voice rang out.

Lucasta's ears strained as she tried to hear whose voice it was, it felt so familiar, but she couldn't remember.

"I apologize a lot for this incident, wait until you finish work we will go on a trip together. How do you feel?" Athelstan sweetly coaxed.

"Where to go? I have been to a lot of countries and find them all boring." The girl didn't like it, then giggled again. "But if you come with me, I'll be happy."

Athelstan gave a low chuckle; he changed the subject. "Do you feel hot?"

"I'm not saying you don't care, but you seem to be right, the weather has been erratic lately." The girl pretended to loosen her collar, which made Athelstan unable to stand still.

Athelstan approached and hugged the girl's slender waist. "If it's hot like that, don't wear it anymore, I'll take it off for you."

"So spoiled." The girl cooed; when Athelstan's large hand reached the zipper behind her, the girl frowned and looked at the cake Lucasta had brought; she pointed at it. "Athelstan, why is there a cake here? Is it a special occasion, and who brought it here?"

Athelstan lazily took one look at the cake and then showed no interest. "I hate cake, baby, maybe Sherwin's playing tricks on it because only he knows it's my birthday."

Lucasta curled up in the cupboard, her heart pounding at the sound of Athelstan's hatred of the gift she'd made for him.

"I don't like cake, if I eat it it will make me fat." The girl pouted her lips.

"I'll call the staff to come and dispose of it." Athelstan dialed a series of numbers on the landline phone but was stopped by the other girl. "Don't let others disturb our good deeds."

"Shall we continue then?" Athelstan put the phone aside, and his hoarse, lustful laugh rang out. "Your body is so amazing; it makes me unable to stand it for another minute."

Lucasta felt that Athelstan was strange now; those flirting words had never appeared in Athelstan; it gave her some hope that the man was not her Athelstan. But Lucasta's voice was so familiar, it reminded Lucasta every night, and she could be sure she hadn't misheard. This means Athelstan betrayed her and gave her a horn long ago.

What happened next left Lucasta dumbfounded. Through a small gap in the closet, Lucasta saw Athelstan carry the other girl to the bed; he hurriedly unbuttoned his shirt and kissed the other girl passionately.

Lucasta was taken aback when Athelstan left the girl's lips, and Lucasta got a good look at the girl's face. It was none other than Fiona, which made Lucasta feel extremely painful; she remembered Fiona's conversation with her assistant. Fiona said her boyfriend specially came to visit her, Athelstan is her boyfriend, and he came here for Fiona and not for her, that's why Lucasta didn't know anything about his schedule this time.
