Chapter 1 1

A Visit from My Obsessor

A private jet landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport. As the packing apron was emptied for the arrival of a very special guest.

Six men dressed in an all-black suit and leather shoes waited patiently by the Maybach Exelero packed in front of the plane for the arrival of India's most special guest.

Letting down the air stairs, the six men immediately went towards the airplane and waited by the stairs to welcome him.

Putting on his glasses and facemask, he got off the plane and went straight to the black Maybach Exelero, not waiting or responding to the greetings of the scout men who followed beside him.

"Sir," the driver greeted him immediately as he sat down in the car.

"To the Baljiwan mansion." He ordered his eyes to never leave the iPad in his hands.

The driver bowed his head a little from the front of the car in acknowledgement before he started the car and drove out of the packing apron to the location given to him.

****

Everyone's attention turned to the luxurious car that entered the Baljiwan compound with speed. Stopping in front of the mansion, the driver came out of the car and opened the back door of the car.

Everyone held their breath as they waited patiently to see who was going to come out of the car.

Placing his foot on the ground, he sucked in a breath before coming out of the car. He looked around a bit, gripping the golden bracelet tightly in his palm.

He dipped his other hands into his pocket before trying to make his way through the media, who now crowded themselves around him, their cameras flashing, curious to know who the sudden guest was.

From inside the mansion, the commotion the media was making outside could be heard.

Getting up from his seat, Mr. Baljiwan excused himself from the ceremony to check exactly what was going on outside.

Mr. Baljiwan stepped out of his mansion with fur written all over his face.

He came into contact with a man standing in front of his mansion, his hands dipping into his pocket, as some men dressed in all black tried to stop the media from getting any more forward than they already were.

Going towards the man, he stopped in front of him and looked up, murmuring a few curse words at the height difference between them.

" Yes! And who are you, young man? ung man?" He asked.

He narrowed his eyes at him, raising an eyebrow before taking off the mask and eyeglasses he had on.

He stared blankly at the old man in front of him as his eyes widen in realization.

Mr. Baljiwan stayed rooted to his spot, shocked, not believing the presence of the person he was standing in front of.

Cleaning his hands unconsciously on his suit, he stepped a little bit forward and extended his hands for a handshake.

He stared down at the old man's hand, then back up at his face, making the man shift slightly on his spot before taking his hand out of his pocket and accepting the handshake.

The old man blew out a breath of relief before forcing a smile on his lips and then quickly withdrawing his hands to his side after the handshake.

"Mr. Ethan, please, to whom do I owe this pleasure?" He asked.

but only got shunned as Ethan put his hands back into his pocket and walked past him, making his way into the mansion, leaving him behind.

Mr. Baljiwan stood there, shocked, for the second time in just a few minutes.

Turning towards the door, he couldn't help but wonder what the great Ethan was doing in his house. Was he here for business or the ceremony? He wonder.

Meanwhile, inside the mansion, the couple attending the ceremony were getting ready to take their vows in front of the priest and the holy fire.

The priest raised the mangalsutra before giving it to the groom to tie around his bride-to-be's neck.

Disha smiled as she closed her eyes, ready for her husband to place his claim around her neck.

Her smile vanished when she felt nothing around her neck, making her confused.

She opened her eyes to check what was going on, just to see her husband's attention focused on something else.

Turning in the direction her husband's gaze was directed, she saw a man standing on the red carpet placed on the aisle leading to the stage.

He was clapping and staring at them.

Her brows furrowed as she squinted her eyes, trying to check who the man was, as he looked unfamiliar.

"I'm not sure, but it seems like you have a death wish." He said it arrogantly, making his way towards the stage.

Disha turned around as she heard voices whispering to themselves, wondering what was going on.

She turned back to look at her husband-to-be, who now looked as pale as a ghost.

She couldn't help but wonder what exactly was going on here. Who was this man? She asked herself.

Turning back around towards the man, she saw him looking intensively at her, making her shift a little in her position uncomfortably.

She saw her father enter the hall and look around, confusion and worry clouding his face.

He politely turned and apologized to his guest on the high table, who now also has a mirror of the expression Mr. Bawljiwan has.

"Mr. Ethan, please, can we take whatever this is outside?" He asked, trying his best not to sound rude or offend him, even though he clearly wasn't far from being angry.

"My daughter's wedding is going on right now." The old man smiled, trying his best to sound polite so as not to offend the man.

"Stop the wedding." Ethan said he was not taking his eyes off the beauty in front of him.

"What! " Mr. Bawljiwan shouted, drawing the attention of his guests towards them.

"I don't like repeating myself, Mr. Bawljiwan." Ethan said before turning on his heels and leaving the hall.

Back in the hall, everyone's face held a confused and curious expression as they wondered what exactly was going on here and why the greatest businessman in America was here in India.

The priest cleared his throat, drawing everyone except Mr. Bawljiwan's attention to him.

"Shall we continue, Mr. Bawljiwan?" The priest asked the old man, making him turn and glare at him.

Taking a deep breath, Mr. Bawljiwan's hands formed into a fist as he pounded on what he was going to do.

No one needs to tell him that Ethan Grayson is a man not to be messed with, but still, he can't just stop his daughter's wedding halfway into the ceremony.

He looked at his daughter and saw worry in her eyes. Closing his eyes, he signed, then opened them back up and looked straight into his daughter's eyes.

"This wedding needs to be postponed." He said this, turning around to look at the guest they invited as they gasped and started whispering loudly.

Disha looked at her father in disbelief, then turned to her groom, who seemed to be lost deep in his thoughts.

Lowering her head, she tried her best not to let the tears of embarrassment flow down her cheeks.

After everything was sorted out and the guest left, the bride and groom family made their way to Mr. Bawljiwan's office, as they still had one more problem to settle: Mr. Ethan Grayson.

They entered the office to find him seated on a chair, his legs crossed, and the aura around him reeking of arrogance.

"I will make my purpose here very clear." He said he was getting up from the chair and dipping his hands into his pants pocket.

"I am here for my bride." He said it, making everyone's eyes go wide in surprise.

Ignoring all their surprised faces, he walked towards Disha and stopped in front of her before pointing at her.

"I am here for her." He said this as he looked into Disha's eyes, letting her see the emotions that were flowing inside his eyes.

Chapter 2 2

Years ago

(Their first encounter)

Getting down from the car, she turned towards her bodyguard, who seemed busy at the back of the car trying to find tools to repair it.

Going toward them, she tapped one of them.

"I would like to walk around a little bit, please," she said, politely adding a smile.

Walking through the empty street, the wind blowing nicely, she smiled. These were the types of moments she liked.

She was feeling very stuffy in the party hall as they kept asking her when she was going to get married and trying to connect her with their sons or their sister sons.

That was a thing about Indians, she thought; they felt like they had every right to intrude in your personal business.

Hearing a sound coming from the other side of the road, she turned to see a homeless young guy sitting by the side of the road.

Going to his place, she stopped in shock halfway through as she saw the guy's body shaking vigorously. Panicked, she turned around to check if anyone was around to help.

She turned to the bodyguard who had been following and asked him to put his coat around the poor guy.

She felt sorry for the poor man. Why was he sleeping here? He could have gone to a homeless shelter, or so she thought.

After a while, the guy opened his eyes and stared at her.

"Are you better now, dear?" she asked.

Lifting up his head, his eyes connected with the beautiful lady in front of him, and he couldn't help but think of how nice her voice sounded.

He stared into her eyes, which were clouded with worry. Was she really worried about him, or was it just his imagination? He asked himself before nodding his head to answer the question asked earlier.

She stared at him for a while, making him a little self-conscious as he bowed his head, slightly embarrassed, even though he didn't know why.

The lady was lost in her thoughts, as she couldn't help but wonder how much the man in front of her must have been through.

Looking down at her hands, which were embedded with a shining golden bracelet, an idea popped into her head, and she took off two of her golden bracelets and the few notes she had left in her purse.

She put it into his palms, sneezing, and gave him an encouraging look.

"These are all I can give you now; please take care of yourself with these, try to find somewhere to live, and I am sure that these two bracelets will be able to get you a house to live in for the main time," she said, smiling at him encouragingly.

Turning around as she heard heavy footsteps coming her way, she saw her bodyguard. The car must be ready, she thought.

Getting up, she waved at him before turning around and leaving with her bodyguard.

Looking at her until she slowly disappeared into the darkness of the night, he couldn't take his mind off her. Her beauty was enticing, and her voice was angelic, he thought.

Looking down at the bracelet and money in his hands, his eyes started to water; it was so much more than he could ever imagine.

What he held in his hands was almost a million, and the thought of that made him tear up.

He never thought a day would come when he would be holding gold in his hands.

He paused a little as the thought of the gold being fake crossed his mind. Placing the bracelet in his mouth, he bit it, just like he saw some of the miners do.

His eyes widen once again as he confirms that it is indeed gold. Quickly putting it away in his torn pants pocket, he wrapped his hands around himself to secure it.

He chuckled as he remembered the words of his angelic princess. She thought it was not going to be enough for long; these were more than enough for him for a year.

He waited patiently throughout the night, wrapping himself in the coat his princess had given him.

He still couldn't get her out of his mind, and for the first time in his life, he felt the need to shape his miserable life.

He wanted her, but obviously she was out of his league.

But right now, his soul was craving her so badly that he looked at his hands and brought them to his nose, trying to sniff her scent.

He remembered how delicate her touch was on his hands when she wanted to place the bracelet in his palm.

She looks so innocent-too innocent for this world-and he couldn't help but feel a sense of protection for her in his spirit.

******

She made her way back to her hostel after texting her mother that she felt so tired and needed some rest.

Entering the hostel room, she went straight to the bathroom and stripped out of her gown, picking up a towel and making her way to the shower.

When she was done, she turned off the shower and wrapped herself in her towel before making her way out of the bathroom.

She wore her nightwear and made herself ready for bed.

Climbing on her bed, she couldn't help but think about the poor man she met on the street.

Was he doing okay?

Is the cold still disturbing him?

Was he going to survive without money?

All kinds of questions roamed around her mind. She should have given him some more of her golden bracelets; she wasn't using them that much anyway, she thought.

The thought of going back to get the man crossed her mind, but she wasn't ready to get into trouble with the media and her father.

So, saying a quick prayer for the man, she closed her eyes and let sleep take her away from her problem and thoughts.

*****

The man stared down at the cash in his hands; he couldn't believe one of the bracelets he exchanged was worth this much.

He looked up at the seller, to whom he gave the golden bracelet, to see him eyeing him suspiciously.

"That's all I can give you, mate; I need to see if I can sell it first." The seller shouted at him.

Now he knew he was being ripped off and that it was worth more, but the fear of giving back the money made him nod his head as he ran away with it.

****

It was already evening, and he walked down the road with a smile on his face. The thought that he had somewhere to spend the night made him smile.

He made his way back to the motel he rented, and the items he got for himself were inside a bag in his hands.

It has been a long time since he felt this kind of happiness; it has, in fact, been a long time since he felt any kind of happiness.

He couldn't help but thank his lucky star for making him come across his princess.

He was so lost in his thoughts that he did not notice that he was being followed.

Immediately he got to the alley that was leading to his motel, some men came out blocking his way.

He looked at them alarmed, trying his best not to show his fear or feed them with it.

He raised his hands up, ready to fight, making them scoff at him before smirking.

"Are you really going to fight my boys, mate?" A man voiced the question, coming out from behind the billboard sign placed on the other side of the alley.

He looked at him with confidence in his eyes before saying

"Well, if you're going to die, you might as well die with honor, right, mate?" He said it mockingly.

making the man chuckle, chocking a little from the smoke of the cigarette he had in his hands.

"I like that, but let's see how long you're going to keep that spirit, mate." He said this, narrowing his eyes at the young man after he calmed down.

Raising his hands up, he signaled his men, and they all came forward, grabbing the man and beating him.

He fell to the floor, blood coming out of his mouth and darkness clouding his vision.

Picking him up by his hair, he blew out the smoke from his mouth to his face.

"I heard you got gold and sold it; I'm just here for the money, mate, that's all." The man said this, placing his cigarette back in his mouth.

He raised his head and looked at the man.

"Fuck you, mate," he said, coughing out blood.

The man looked at the young man on the floor, amused.

"I like this; I like you." He said this, staring at the man, who was no longer moving on the floor.

Chapter 3 3

2 months before chapter one

" Hmmm " Ethan makes a sound at the back of his throat, opening his eyes slowly, before quickly shutting them back, trying to adjust his vision to the brightness of the room.

He groans, clutching his head before groaning slightly, sitting up on the bed and resting his back against the headboard.

He looks to his side to find a name girl covered in sheets beside him, he rolls his eyes before getting up from the bed and making his way to the bathroom.

He turns on the shower before getting in, his mind drifting back to the pleasure he had a night ago, he scrubs his body hard, as if trying to get rid of the outer layer of his skin.

He turn off the shower when he was down, swearing silently, before stepping out of the shower and wrapping a towel around his body.

He gets out of the bathroom, to find his companion awake and looking at him like he was some piece of candy.

" Get your things and leave. " He said not wasting any time, then making his way into his suite walk in closet to get the clothes, the hostel had arranged for him.

" Common baby, surely I satisfied you last night, is there really any need discarding me this quickly. " The woman said in what seem like a sexy voice to her.

" Get out before I lose my temper. " He said turning to her, glaring at her with his peirceing sharp eyes.

The lady gasped before leaving the closet, hurriedly gathering her clothes and making her way out of the suite.

She turns back and look at the door once she was out. She stomos her foot to the ground, pouting. Surely she had satisfied him last night, or so she thought.

She really wanted to stay with him and persuade him some more, but no one would want to dare disobey the orders of THE Ethan.

She makes her way out of the hostel pouting, with a disbelief expression mask to her face, making all the hostel staff, know that another one was discarded again.

" Looks like another one did not satisfy our VIP ehnn. " One of the hostel staff gossiped.

" You should know by now that no lady satisfies him. " The other said before turning back to her job.

Meanwhile back at the suite Ethan buttons up his suits, looking at his dashing appearance in the mirror, his gaze slightly sweeping across the bangle on his left wrist.

He touches it, slightly caressing the surface, as he lets his mind drift to his beloved angel.

His soul was thirsting for an angel he knew nothing about, not even her name. But he was willing to do anything to find her; he remembered her beautiful blue eyes and the soft palm she had. He wanted her, no he needed her, and he would find her no matter what it costs. She was his only, he doesn't even care if it was love, attraction or obsession anymore.

******

Signing off the last document he looked at at the time, he needed to meet with his friends in the club tonight, but he still wanted to cover a lot. Besides, he doesn't want his mood to be spoilt again by some slut, he thought as he remembered what happened yesterday.

All these sluts really think he cares about them when he just wants to fulfill his lust, which he tells them and they know about.

Last night, he thought she left the room, but no, he was wrong. He went back into the room and caught her trying to go through his phone. He wasn't surprised about it; he meant it was just that it was getting annoying. They always try to take his money or get his contacts.

Turning around in his chair, he faced the glass wall behind him, his mind going back to his angel. He was getting desperate as the day went by. He needed to find her; he really wanted her. He remembered the smile she gave him, and instantly he felt the smaller version of himself getting hard down there.

Groaning, he stood up to calm himself down. He still couldn't believe the kind of effect this girl had on him, and the worst part was that he knew nothing about her and was sure she was wherever she was going through her normal life. While he was here constantly thinking about her, he couldn't help but wonder what she could be doing right now as he kept praising himself, trying to calm his dragon down.

Stepping out of his car, he threw his keys at the valet guy going into the club. Going to the bartender, he ordered a drink to be brought up to his VIP room before leaving. Passing through the crowd, he shoved away some drunk guys and sluts who kept touching him.

Entering the room, he rolls his eyes at the sight that welcomed him. Walking past his friend, who was making out with some woman on the couch, he went to meet the other in the lounge area of the room.

"What's up, dude? We have been waiting here for a long time. What kept you here?" his friend Alexander asked. "It's definitely not a lady, I'm sure, because my friend has no patience for that gender," his other friend Rico said.

Looking at both of them, he took the box of cigarettes from Rico's hands before lighting one.

He looked back up after placing the cigarette in his mouth to see them staring at him, waiting for his reply. "I had work to do," he replied grumpily.

" Don't you ever get tired of working?" his other friend, Xavier, said, coming to sit beside him. Rolling his eyes, he replied "no". After a while, he got bored and decided to leave. As he made his way back to his car, he saw a familiar face that made his eyes roll automatically.

Standing up, she went forward to meet the guy.

"Hey handsome I missed you." Looking at her with a bored expression, he shakes his head and walks past her as she keeps following him.

"Monica, what do you want?" he asked, as he was not in the mood for any of her nonsense today.

Monica was one of the many girls who liked him for his money and looks, but he kept her because, he's not going to lie, she was good in bed and simply followed all his rules.

But she was starting to think something more than a fling was going to happen between them, branding herself to the public as his girlfriend.

Reaching his car, he opened the door, but it was closed. Turning back, he was suddenly attacked by a pair of lips, and as she started kissing him, her hands went down to the younger version of himself.

That's one thing about her; she was good at keeping him in the mood, and right now he definitely needed to release some of the tension in him as he could not do it last night.

Getting into the car, he drove them to his hotel while the girl kept rubbing him to keep him in the mood. Signing, he knew at least this night was going to be okay, even though she was still in the back of his mind.
