Last Bloodline (The Sacrificial Mate)

Chapter one

Writers Pov

"Alpha Collen, your mate water just broke in the woods." The beta of the wolf pack said.

"What? Where is my love? Is she okay? Call the pack nurses." He commanded his Beta.

"Do not be worried Alpha Collen, calm down for I did that already and she is in the room now trying to push." He added.

"Oh, finally, I will have a child of my own after all these years, finally my mate is giving me an heir to oversee the pack when we are gone." Alpha Collen mumbled in excitement.

"But there is a little problem." The beta said.

"What problem?"

"The seer (witch) of the pack mentioned that the child in your mate womb is carrying the last bloodline of your great grandparents." He added.

"That is not a problem, my child is special then, you know I heard from my parents that my great grandfather was a big red and black werewolf, I wonder what colour my child will be, even if my child doesn't inherit I or my mate's colour of the wolf, I know my child will have those wolf yellowish eyes just like every one of us here in our pack."

"Then since it's not a problem then it calls for celebration knowing our Luna is about to give us a special child, the last bloodline of our forefathers that is rare, we the moonstone pack is happy, may the moon goddess continue to reign forever for this blessing." The beta said.

Terrible lighting took place while Collen's wife was still trying to give birth, her first time to push, the nurses kept encouraging her.

In the woods, A man named Elijah in his thirties was addressing a group of powerful-looking werewolves.

"It's time to prove your loyalty to me, I know my stupid cousin thinks he is the Alpha of the Night Walkers but I know one day, my wolf form will be free, even if I die trying my son Andre will take over from where I stop, now I want you to attack the pack that did this to my family in the past, the pack who cursed my lineage and bounded my wolf form and stripping my line of the alpha title,I I heard from an insider that the Moonstone pack luna is given birth right now to the next heir, I don't want that, attack the pack and take their baby from them, do not kill them, I want them to live in pains forever and leave this life with no one to succeed the alpha title."

They were all happy to carry out his mission and when he gave the go-ahead, they shifted as they went after the Moon Stone Pack.

Elijah had this evil smirk, he can't get his wolf form back but he can cause misfortune and pains to the pack that causes his line. He is also working with some hunters carrying out some physical research for him.

Alpha Collen got told that his wife gave birth to a baby girl and it was confirmed that the baby has wolf yellowish eyes and is truly the last bloodline of the rare wolf.

He announced a party to be carried out and when he held his child given her a name, Amelia, the whole pack was in jubilation when suddenly the pack got attacked and making use of silver and wolfbane they got so weak and couldn't fight back.

Amelia was taken away from them and it was a black day for the Moon Stone Pack.

*20 Year's Later.*

*Amelia Pov*

I woke up very early in the morning before my parents and my annoying sister, I love them so much but I do not know why they hate me so much to treat me like an alien, what did I ever do to them to make them hate me this way? I wondered and I just accepted life the way it is, maybe this is the best way they can show love to me as their daughter.

I finished cleaning the living room and I walked straight to the kitchen to wash the dishes before preparing breakfast when Katarina came to the kitchen, I am a year older than her but it's the opposite here so I have to respect her like she is my senior sister just to survive in here.

I sometimes get jealous of the way she gets treated by them.

"Good Morning Katarina." I smiled at her.

"What's good about the morning? Why are you smiling like a fool? Where is breakfast by the way? Don't you know I must eat before going to school?" She sounded so rude.

Yes, she can go to school while I was just allowed to just finish high school and stay back home.

I had to maintain a smile on my face to reply to her despite I felt insulted by her.

"I am sorry, I woke up a bit late that is why, cleaning and doing everything by myself so you know what is going to happen right now, assist me in washing the remaining plates while I start cooking."

I gave her the plate I was holding when she stoned me with it and it got shattered on the floor while I had a little cut on my hands and it takes time to heal since I haven't met my wolf yet.

"How dare you ask me to do your work for you? Have you gone nuts? Do you think I am your slave or something? Look here Amelia let this be the last time you ever make such a stupid request from me, am I cleared?" She yelled so loud at me like I was her toy.

Now I am in a big mess, the plate she broke, when I heard my mom voice shouting, "Amelia, I hope you didn't break my plates?" I am so good as dead.

"Okay then, I am sorry for asking but you broke mom's plate, hope you know she might punish you?" I was trying to get bold but when our mom came to the kitchen, Katarina faked her tears, "Mom she shouted at me, she even broke the plate out of anger just to frighten me."

I could not believe this and before I could make a sentence I received a slap that sounded like thunder from mom then she brought out her claws, I know I am dead because whenever she brings out her claws, she beats the hell out of me and I will be bleeding all over.

"Mom please, I didn't break the plate, please believe me." I started pleading as tears flow through my eyes.

Chapter Two

Amelia Pov

I woke up on the floor in the kitchen, "What kind of dream was I having? I can't believe my family appears in my dream to beat me now, this life is not fair at all." I added trying to stand up when I felt pains all over my body and then looking at my hands, tears flowed from my eyes immediately like someone just turned on the tap of water.

"Ahh, what did I ever do to deserve such from my mother." I wailed in pain.

My body was designed with mom claws and my outfit was covered with blood and bloodstains on the floor where I was.

I managed to get my stand in full walking out of the kitchen as I looked like someone who will die soon, it will take time to heal since I haven't met my wolf form but the pains I am feeling can never be healed, it's like a big scar.

I saw my parents eating breakfast with Katarina, they looked so happy and mother kept giving her more meat caressing her hair.

I was stupid to walk to the dinner to join them for breakfast, my father added to my pains, "Yes why are you here? Do you plan to add blood to our breakfast?" Father asked angrily.

"No dad, I am so hungry, please I need to eat before I faint again, mom got angry with me that's why she did this to me but I already forgave her," I added bringing out a smile.

"Who told you I need your forgiveness?" My mother added looking at me like a piece of trash.

"Are you trying to paint my wife bad? How dare you." Father said using his wolf strength to push me and I ended up hitting the wall and falling coughing out blood.

I got so angry at the pains I was feeling and didn't know when my eyes turned yellow, the reflection made me see this and I had to rush to my room to cry out my pains.

I took off my outfit and I heard a knock at the door, I opened it and it revealed the pack nurse, she is the only friend that I can talk with and ask questions.

"Oh no, you are like a walking dead, let me Inject you with this to reduce your pains." She said coming in with her first aid kit.

"Will this take away my pains forever Helen? Because I am not feeling these physical pains but the emotional pains, sometimes I ask myself if they are my parents."

"Amelia, enough, this is the best way they can show you, love, with time you will get to see it and no, it can't take away your emotional pains." She replied injecting my arms.

She started cleaning up the wounds on my body then I said, "Are you sure I will ever shift? "

"What makes you think so?" Helen asked still attending to my wounds.

"I am twenty already and still haven't met my wolf form, my sister met hers when she turned 18, is there even hope for me?" I asked with tears still gathered in my eyes.

"Oh Amelia can you stop this already, I don't wish to get emotional on a Tuesday morning okay, we have early shifting and late shifting, you are just twenty who knows you might shift in the next full moon, so please stop all these activities of yours and focus on the bright side of life."

"Thank you so much, you are like a person the moon goddess sent to me to give me hope in life and I am happy I got you here in this pack." She smiled hugging me.

"You are welcome, here I got snacks for you when coming from Subway."

"Thank you so much, I would have starved this morning." I took it from her eating like I just got released from prison.

"Hey take it easy okay." She said laughing.

"I love this, it's so tasty that I just want to eat a pack of it," I added and she smiled.

"Okay enjoy yourself, I will be taking my leave now." She added.

"Okay bye, Helen." She left shutting the door behind me.

I went to the bathroom to have my bath again so I will look refreshed then rush to clean the kitchen that got stained and do my other chores for the day.

While bathing, I kept hearing this loud spine, then I started hearing lots of voices around, the moving truck, crying of babies, couples argument, it was like I am going mad.

I have never experienced such before, then it stopped, I came out of the bathroom with the towel around my chest looking at the mirror when I almost screamed, my eyes looking so yellowish and I could see very fast and clear, I can even detect wrong things easily and see far from my room looking at the window.

I came back to the mirror and the spin started again, then I heard dad's voice.

"The party we are organising is just a few days from now, all alphas will be attending, I hope Katarina meets her mate."

"I hope so, what about Amelia, what if she.." I heard a loud bang at my door.

I closed my eyes and opened them, it became normal, then I opened the door, I saw nobody there then it occurred to me it was coming from a distance.

I wore my outfit leaving the room, got the soapy water and mop to clean the kitchen and did other chores.

I was so worried, the eyes I saw on the mirror is different from everyone here in their wolf form, I need to ask Helen.

Immediately I saw her, I stopped her, "Is everything okay?"

"I feel something is wrong with me, I could hear this loud spin and my eyes.." She didn't even let me finish my statement.

"Wow, this is good news, you might fully shift tomorrow night being the full moon, soon you will be hearing her voice."

"Whose voice?" Someone called her and she had to leave while I went to the garden to water the flowers, still thinking what she meant?

Yes, I am happy I will be shifting on the next moon with all these signs, what if I never shift?

Then I heard a voice saying, "Shut up your mouth, who thinks so lame?"

I paused looking around to see if someone was present listening to my thoughts.

Chapter 3

*Andre Dad's Funeral.*

Lorde Pov

"Hey cousin, you have to be strong for your father, he might be gone now but he still has a son to move on with his legacy," I said to my cousin Andre.

"Since when did you become a motivational speaker Lorde?" He added.

"You jerk." I hit him and he did the same as we both started laughing taking a walk from his father's grave to where our cars got packed.

"But seriously thanks for your words, I need to continue with what my father has been doing, thank you for making me see the light." He said sounding so serious.

"I never knew you would take your job as my adviser seriously?" I added.

"Adviser?" He paused.

"Are you okay?" I asked looking at his face when he smiled saying, "Yeah I am okay, I am just thinking of how I can advise a jerk of a cousin like you, I guess I need to get silver chains to chain you down to make sure you listen." He teased.

"Oh yes, he needs it because I have never seen a stubborn partner like him." Raja my wolf said.

"I was just happy that you have been silent all day, silver chains! really? You hate me that much?" I replied him.

"I will stop hating you if you get us our mate," Raja added.

"Can you keep silent Raja, we are mourning here and not to talk about mate, yes I am more desperate than you right now searching for her, so keep it low let me talk with my cousin, this is family talk," I added with a smile.

"Andre please use the silvers on him now." He said and I laughed.

"I guess your wolf form is in support of what I just said." Said Andre laughing.

"Whatever."

Simon my beta came to me saying," Sorry to interrupt family talk, Alpha Lorde, Josh just met his mate here and your blessings are needed."

"Simon really?" I said.

"Everyone is getting their mate while my cousin is busy sleeping with humans, I shall take my leave now your best friend is here," Andre said taking his leave as I waved at him the I turned looking at Simon with my scary alpha eyes.

"Come on Lorde, this is a funeral missed with humans and wolves, you might want to change your eyes," Simon added.

"Since when did an alpha start blessing people that found their mates?" I asked facing him.

"Oh, I thought we try new things as the Nightwalkers, you know the life is resolving, is not bad we initiate such a plan," Simon said.

"Revolving my foot, get mom so we can go home, I need to rest, the ritual and funeral, it's so tiring and do send me an attractive lady to massage me too," I ordered him as I got into the car.

"If you can just get your mate, you won't be needing all these you know."

"Do you want me to rip out your heart?" I asked loudly.

"How did we even become best of friends, I will search for your mom now." He added and I told the driver to drive, today I don't feel like driving.

Getting home, the maids welcomed me, I walked straight to my room and two maids came out from my bathroom saying my bath is ready.

"You can leave." The only sentence that came out from my lips.

I pulled my suit jacket and my sleeve along with the pants I had on, taking whiskey from the fridge and going into the bathtub.

"Moon goddess why did you even pair me with someone like him?" Raja started disturbing me.

"Raja can't I get some silence please, I need to think about work, the pack."

"And our mate," Raja asked.

"I know soon we will meet her but I am confused about something, why are some wolves so scared of me?"

"Do you really want me to answer that? Well, I guess you do, you are strict as an alpha to the public but sweet to your family, so people judge you easily." He said.

"And I think you are included here too because when I get more violent, you increase my temper." We started laughing.

Simon mind linked with me saying, "The lady you ask for is coming to your room now, make sure you take things easy with her."

"I think is time I kill you." I replied and he started laughing saying, "No you can't kill your best friend that is your beta, instead you kill for me, have fun."

"You jerk." He ended the mind link.

"Raja not a word."

"Okay."

I came out from the bathtub, wearing my shorts laying on the bed as the lady came in saying, "Hi handsome."

"The cream is over there, you can start immediately and when I do fall asleep, kindly leave my room, you will get paid on your way out," I spoke coldly to her.

I knew she was taking off her clothes, some humans are so foolish, she climbed my back rubbing the cream and massaging my back then she said, "Nice tattoo, it can easily turn a girl on."

"Thank you."

"Can I get the same tattoo, I love them."

"No you can't, is a family tattoo that can't be seen on another, are you turned on by it?" I asked her.

"Oh yes I am."

I turned and came on top of her then her mouth went wide open, "Oh mine, you are so handsome and your chest, I am lost of words."

"Enjoy the moment," I said to her.

"Spoilt Alpha," Raja said.

"Like I said not a word, I am catching my fun okay?" He kept quiet.

I haven't even touched her, she was dying to get them that was when I felt a sharp pain, a sign that one of my own is in grave danger.

I had to mind link Simon, "What is going on?"

"I haven't seen anything like this, the wolf hunter is working with them, I got shot with wolfbane." He said in pain.
