LEO

In a well furnished room lies a beautiful woman by the name Leo on the tiled floor, she seems to be in pain as she holds her stomach and groans in severe pain. She reaches out to her phone on the bed, she picks it up and dials her husband's number.

Kunle who happens to be Leo's husband is seen cuddling with a young lady by the name Linda in an hotel room. They begin to kiss passionately until the tone of Kunle's phone disturbs their intimacy.

On seeing the caller's id, Kunle ignores the call and puts his phone on silent, he continues to kiss Linda passionately.

"Linda baby, i love you so much" Kunle said, "I love you more sugar" replied Linda. " I cant wait to devour you" he said with so much lust in his voice. "Let me take a quick shower so that i can be very refreshed and you know.." He gives her an eye signal indicating that when he comes back, they would have the fun of their live.

He stepped into the bathroom leaving Linda alone on the bed. Linda notices his phone has been vibrating non stop, she picks up the phone and sees the caller id as "My life" on the screen on the phone. " Mtchew, this old fool is calling my baby again, wettin she want sef "(what does she want). She answers the call and hears the voice of Leo.

" Kunle Kunle, my stomach is aching me, please where are you?" Leo said after Kunle supposedly picks her call after several missed calls. "What do you want again this woman? Kunle is with me, you have your time and i have my time so please Leo or what is that your stupid name let me enjoy my time" Linda said on the phone to Leo and drops the call.

Leo seems not to be bothered about the fact that a woman picked her husband's call, she drops the phone in annoyance and in pain. She struggles to get up herself, walks towards the small cabinet in the room,picks up her car keys and heads towards her car parked outside the compound of her house in pains.

Kunle comes out from the bathroom in a towel. " Who was that? It seems like you were arguing on the phone with someone" Kunle asked. " It is one useless fellow that wants to deprive me of my enjoyment time with you" she said while moving towards him. " But i put that useless fellow in her place" she said while caressing his naked broad chest. Kunle carries her to the bed and the two continue with their passionate intimacy

Leo is seen lying down in an hospital bed with her eyes swollen indicating she must have cried her eyes out. When she got to the hospital, she had been quickly attended to by her gynaecologist and it was made known to her that she had a miscarriage. This happens to be her second miscarriage, she is so depressed as the one person who is supposed to comfort her is the reason for the miscarriage and he is busy fucking a stupid mistress somewhere

Leo lies on the hospital bed with her eyes wide open, she is definitely lost in thoughts as her phone has been ringing non stop until a nurse comes into the ward and taps her " madam, your phone is ringing" said the nurse. Leo is brought back to reality from the tap as she quickly picks up her phone and sees "My life" as the caller id.

She answers the call with so much pain in her heart. "Hello! Leo what is wrong with you? I have been calling you all day" Kunle said angrily over the phone. Leo clears her throat and tries to suppress the tears building up in her eyes. "Kunle, i am at the hospital" she replied him and drops the phone. "Hospital? What are you..." Kunle asked until he discovers the call has been dropped. He quickly picks up his car keys, rushes out of the house, enters into his car and zooms off to the hospital.

Kunle gets to the hospital, he was able to come straight to the hospital as he and Leo have their family Doctor in that hospital. He approaches the Nurse sitting at the nurse station and asks for his wife. The nurse knowing him directs him to Leo's ward without much question.

Kunle barges into Leo's room and sees her on the bed with a drip passed into her body. He stays glued to a spot as he thinks Leo's is dead or something until she opens her eye and gives him a wicked hateful look. He moves closer to her with relief and tries to caress her face but Leo ignores him.

"What happened to you sugar? Are you okay? Did you have an attack again? Kunle asked, " Kunle i lost the child.. AGAIN" she said emphasising the last word. Kunle's facial expression changes " What!! Again? Why are you so unfortunate? Another miscarriage which makes it the second one in our three years of marriage, Did the misfortune of your family follow you into marriage?" Kunle said angrily.

"What did you just say?" Leo asked standing up to face her husband. " How dare you open your useless mouth and tell me to my face that i am unfortunate, you leave me alone in that godforsaken house and you go around fucking the bitches you call mistress and you expect me to be sane? Not to think? Not to be depressed? Not to loose a baby we both know i am not strong enough to carry knowing fully well the nature of my health and yet you stand here with your useless mouth and call me names, if only you can concentrate on me like the way you concentrate on those useless fools you carry about, the latest one is Linda abi? I know because she doesn't back off from threatening me to leave you for her, i

I called you earlier today but she picked your call and your five minute sexual escapade has cost you another chance to father a child" She replied angrily while crying.

" You called today" Kunle asked suprised, " Yes i called you and the woman you were fucking picked, I hate you,I hate you, you mon..." she continued saying until she felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen, she cries out in pain, Kunle tries to touch her but she pushes him away from her. " Leo you need to rest" Kunle said in a worried tone. Leo ignores him, struggles to hold in the pain until she suddenly slumps on the floor, Kunle runs to her, tries to wake her but fails. He calls out the doctor in fear.

Kunle is seen in the Doctor's office, he is looking so worried, the Doctor comes into the office and have his seat. Kunle asks the Doctor on the condition of Leo. " Kunle, your wife is still pregnant" the Doctor said. " Pregnant? See Kelvin, please explain better, what do you mean Leo is still pregnant, she told me she had a miscarriage so how come she is still pregnant" Kunle asked with a confused tone. "Yes, that was what we saw earlier when i ran a test on her,but currently i am seeing that the baby is still intact just that the baby is in a very delicate state, any little stress or problem could cause the death of both mother and child, so congratulations bro, life has given you a third chance, make wise use of this chance" the doctor said with a smile. Kunle is definitely shocked as he stares at the Doctor strangely.

7 years later

It is been seven years since the whole incident. Leo has been shocked to hear that she didn't loose her child but she was indeed very happy. She had decided to be strong for the sake of her child, she decides not to get depressed over the issue of Kunle's infidelity.

Kunle on the other hand also took a new leave as he made out time to spend with Leo, he wasn't ready to loose this chance of being a father again which might be his last chance, He seems to have let go of his promiscious living and divert all his attention and care to Leo and her unborn child which he did perfectly even to a fault.

Leo had a peaceful mind durng her pregnancy as she notices the drastic change in Kunle, she gave birth after 6 month of a very complicated labour, She had joy unspeakable of when she saw her son after his birth, she and Kunle decided to name him Ayomide which means my joy has arrived.

Years went by and Kunle, Leo and their son Ayomide seems to be the perfect definition of an happy family, they went on trips, had family bonding which painted them as a perfect family to the public. Well like the saying goes, not all that glitters is gold, the old Kunle seemed to have gone back to his vomits.

On a cold evening, Kunle comes back from work looking very tired and stressed out, Ayomide runs to welcome his father "Dad, welcome " Ayomide said joyfully. Kunle lifts him up and tickles his chubby cheek as that was his usual way of greeting his son " How are you my joy?" Kunle aaked. "Very fine Daddy" Ayomide replied. Kunle drops him as he sees Leo approaching to welcome him with a hug.

" Welcome my life" Leo said while hugging Kunle. "My love, how are you" Kunle asked after planting a gentle kiss on her lips. Leo ignores his question as she moves closer to him as she sniffs his shirt. " Kunle, did you change your body spray?" Leo questioned him. "Um... Well, i stopped by the mall today with the aim to buy the brand of body spray i use, you know Versace man but i didn't see and you know the way this marketers behave, they tried to get me to buy a different brand, they even allowed me to test it but i ended up not liking it so i didn't buy it" Kunle explained. " Oh really? They even allowed you spray it on your shirt? Some marketers they are, anyways go and freshen up and get this awful smell out of your body" Leo said while helping him to loosen his tie. Kunle leaves for the bathroom while Leo goes to set the dining

Leo's mind kept wandering through out that night, she definitely didn't buy the story Kunle gave her, she just had this feeling that Kunle has gone back to his old ways.

Leo is left alone in the house as she is a full housewife thanks to the orders of Kunle despite having a first class in business administration. After taking Ayo to school, she stays indoors until it is time to go and pick him. On this fateful day, she hears a knock at the door, she goes to open the door and to her greatest suprise, she sees her fraternal twin sister smiling at her.

"Wunmi!! Wassup" Leo said as she hugs Wunmi passionately. Wunmicomes inside as Leo offers her a seat. " Tolani, i am good and you" Wunmi said. " I have told you to stop calling me that, I prefer Leo " Leo said. " Leo ko, Leopard ni, just because you were born in August, you decided to start bearing your zodiac name, whether or not you like it, you are Omotolani" Wunmi said jokingly. "Whatever, what would you eat?" Leo said as she moves closer to the kitchen. "Well anything you have" Wunmi replied. "Ok.this your body spray is so strong, see how the smell has taken over my house, it seems like i have come in contact with this smell, anyways, i will be back with your fave" Leo said as she enters into the kitchen leaving Wunmi alone whom picks up the remote control to tune into a program on the tv.

Two weeks later.

Leo decides to to pay her twin sis a surprise visit as she did weeks ago. She got to her Wunmi's apartment, luckily for her, she still had her spare keys to the apartment due to the fact that they both shared the apartment in her days of being single, her twin sis is yet to be married but has a son with one of her lovers. Leo unlocks the door of Wunmi's apartment, goes in and meets the shock of her life as she sees Kunle her legally wedded husband with her twin sister making out on the couch in the living room.
