Kyle's Second Wife

"Dad , How can you promise me to someone? I am a girl , not a thing to be given that easily."

At the dinner , Samuel William announced the news that left his daughter shocked .

"Enough Alicia , You are marrying Kyle and that's it. I don't want more discussions over this topic and if you dare to do anything stupid, be ready to face the consequences." Samuel said and stood from his chair . He was about to go upstairs when Alicia again tried to say "Dad , but I don't want to get married this early ."

Alicia was wondering why her father, who loves her a lot , would force her to get married but she couldn't say anything because she knew that it wouldn't be good for her , if she refused or did anything wrong . She could only cry on her destiny .

Samuel ignored Alicia and looked away . Her Mother , Lily Said "Samuel , how can you promise our daughter to someone ?"

Samuel ignored his wife too and said "Lily , make your daughter ready to be Kyle's bride. Her wedding is after two days and she is not allowed to step out of the house till then. I don't want to talk about this any more . Finish your dinner and go to sleep. "

Alicia started crying after hearing this . Lily hugged her and said "I am sorry my child , I can't convince your father to change his decision."

Lily accompanied her to her room after the dinner . After crying for a while , Alicia fell asleep . Lily looked at her innocent face and kissed her forehead before leaving her room . She was feeling sad for her daughter but she couldn't do anything because she was not strong enough to go against her husband's decision .

Samuel was in the study room . His head was resting on the chair with eyes closed . His phone started ringing . He lifted his head to look at his phone and saw Kyle's name on the screen . He picked up the phone from the table and answered the call . A deep voice arrived in his ears .

"Hello , Mr. William ."

"Hello , Mr. Smith."Samuel said .

"I want to meet Alicia ."

"Is there anything important ?" Samuel got worried thinking about why Kyle wants to meet Alicia .

"Can't I meet my fiancée casually ?" Kyle asked . There was anger in his voice .

You can but ....

Before Samuel could finish his sentence , Kyle cut him off saying "Oh , you are afraid that I will tell her the truth about our deal that you're using her to save yourself from your crimes ."

"Please , don't tell her . She will start hating me , if she gets to know about what I did and also about the deal ." Samuel said . He was really worried because he already broke his loving daughter's heart . He doesn't want her to hate him for the rest of his life .

"Don't worry , I will not tell her anything for now because I am not able to find anything against you and as for the deal , you better know you have to save your business and yourself ." Kyle said and Samuel replied " I know ."

"One more thing , Don't tell her that I was married before because I know that she doesn't know anything about my first marriage . I know she will not like me in the beginning but after sometime , she will love me madly and I will always keep her happy . I will come tomorrow to meet her. Good night ." He said and cut the call .

Kyle is a famous and powerful businessman . His wife divorced him two years ago and he hates her the most in this world . His parents always forced him to get married again but he didn't listen to them . He saw Alicia two months ago at a party and wanted to marry her since then as he found her different from all other girls who wanted to throw themselves on him .

Samuel was not ready for Alicia's marriage with him as he knew that he was married before and later his wife divorced him , so Kyle used his own ways to make him agree . Samuel knew that Kyle holds the power to destroy him and his business which he established by working hard for two years . He was feeling angry at himself for why he introduced her daughter to Kyle and also for destroying her daughter's happiness for a business but he can't afford to lose his hard work .

After the call with Samuel , Kyle was trying to sleep . His eyes were continuously staring at the ceiling and his lips were curled in a huge smile as he was thinking about Alicia , when he saw her for the first time .

Flashback of two months ago ,

"Nice to meet you , Mr. Smith ." Samuel said .

"Nice to meet you too , Mr. William ."

Kyle was discussing something with Samuel when he saw a girl behind Samuel who was walking in their direction with a smile on her face . She was looking gorgeous in her blue dress which matched the colour of her beautiful and shining eyes . Kyle was mesmerized by her beauty .

Dad ....

She stood beside Samuel and looked at Kyle . Kyle was not able to take his eyes off her . He was lost in her beautiful smile and beautiful deep ocean blue eyes .

"Mr. Smith , Meet my beautiful daughter Alicia and Alicia, Meet Mr. Kyle Smith ." Samuel said, introducing them to each other .

"Hello , Nice to meet you ." Alicia said with a smile .

"Nice to meet you , Alicia . You are very beautiful."

Alicia blushed at his comment and said "Thank you , Mr. Smith . Dad , I am going to get myself a drink ."

She smiled at Kyle and left them alone . Kyle was looking at her back while she was walking away from them . Samuel looked at him and said "She doesn't like to attend such business parties and to talk to others ."

"It's okay . She is really beautiful ." Kyle said and smiled.

When Kyle got home from the party , his mind couldn't stop thinking about Alicia's smile and her eyes .

Back to present

Kyle smiled when he thought that Alicia would be his forever after two days . He didn't know when he fell asleep .

Next day , he woke up with a huge smile on his face . He was going to meet Alicia . He got up from his bed . After taking shower, he went to his closet and started choosing his outfit to wear today . After fumbling with the clothes for a while , he finally decided to wear a black shirt and blue jeans with a blue jacket . He wore the clothes and set his hair by applying some gel . He went out of the house and started driving to Alicia's house . He brought a bouquet of red roses for her on the way and put a card between the bouquet .

At Alicia's house , Lily was busy preparing for Kyle's welcome with the servants . Samuel was in Alicia's room .

"Kyle is coming to meet you . I hope you will be on your best behavior in front of him ." Samuel said while holding her hand . He was feeling sad from inside for hurting her but he can't be soft hearted in front of her right now . He has to be strict with her so that she marries Kyle and his business would be saved .

"I will be nice to him ." Her eyes were full of tears while saying this but she held her tears back from falling . She didn't want to cry in front of her father and to make him feel that she is weak . She didn't want to show that she is weak. She has to go through this and she needs to be strong for herself .

"There's one more thing , I want to tell you ." Seeing that she was silent , he continued saying "I know you hate me at the moment because you are thinking that I am forcing you into this marriage but when you will know and understand the reason why this all is happening, which I can't tell you now , I hope you will understand me and will not hate me at that moment for my decisions ."

Alicia looked at him and asked "Why would I hate you after knowing the reasons ?"

Samuel hesitated and said "You will understand once you will know the reasons ."

Alicia looked down at her hands and Samuel said "After marriage , always agree with him to whatever he wants without any arguments and be obedient . As for now , I want you to forgive me . I love you , Alicia and for me , you will always be my little girl ." He said and left the room . The tears which Alicia was holding from so long started coming out of her eyes rolling down on her cheeks .

Samuel just came down when the sound of a car stopping reached his ears . He came out of the house with Lily and saw Kyle walking towards them with a bouquet of red roses in his hands , which he brought for Alicia .

"Welcome , Mr. Kyle Smith ." Samuel said and forwarded his hand in Kyle's direction .

Kyle shook his hand and said "Thank you , Mr. William ."

"Meet my wife , Lily ." Samuel said while holding Lily's shoulder .

"Nice to meet you , Mrs. William ." Kyle said with a smile.

Lily smiled and said "Please , come inside Mr. Smith ."

They all came into the living room . Samuel and Kyle sat down on the sofa . Lily went to the kitchen and brought the snacks and drinks she prepared for Kyle. She sat down beside Samuel .

Samuel looked at Lily and said "Go and bring Alicia."

Before Lily could get up from the sofa , Kyle said "Mr. William , I want to talk to her in private . If you don't mind , Can I go to her room to talk with her ?"

Samuel was not ready for this but he knew he had to say yes . He was trying to get the idea about what's going on in Kyle's mind by looking at his face . After thinking for a while , he said to his wife "Lily , take Mr. Smith to Alicia's room ."

Lily stood from the sofa . Kyle also stood up and started following Lily upstairs . When they reached in front of her room , Lily knocked on the door but didn't hear the voice of Alicia . She got worried and opened the door only to find that Alicia was nowhere in the room .

"Where is my fiancee , Mrs. William?" Kyle asked angrily and in a loud voice .

Alicia was in the bathroom. When she heard Kyle shouting at her mother , she wanted to step out of the bathroom and strangle him to death . Samuel was impatient thinking about what Kyle had to talk about with Alicia , so he also went upstairs . Seeing the door to Alicia's room open , he entered the room and looked at Kyle who was looking back at him in anger .

Samuel then realized that Alicia was not there . He asked Lily "Where is Alicia "?

"I don't .... I don't know ." Lily stammered . Her voice was full of fear .

They all were about to go out of the room to find Alicia when they heard the door of the bathroom being opened . Everyone turned their eyes towards the door and found Alicia standing there , looking at them . Lily and Samuel sighed in relief. Alicia smiled and said "What are you all doing here ? Mr. Smith , I was coming to meet you downstairs ."

Kyle was happy after hearing that she was coming to meet him . He said " I wanted to talk to you alone ."

Alicia felt uncomfortable after hearing this .

She tried her best to hide it but Kyle sensed it . Alicia finally gathered her courage and said "Mom and dad , please go downstairs ."

Lily and Samuel both gave her a worried look . She blinked her eyes to assure them that she would be fine . Lily and Samuel walked out of her room and went downstairs . They went into the living room and sat on the sofa . They were worrying about Alicia .

Inside the room , Alicia and Kyle were standing at a distance from each other . Kyle closed the door of the room and Alicia looked at him nervously . He placed the bouquet of roses which he brought for her on the bed and took a step towards her with a smirk on his face . Alicia gulped the lump formed in her throat and started taking her steps back . She stopped as her back hit the wall and found Kyle standing close to her . She could feel his warm breath on her face as his dark brown eyes were staring into her deep blue ocean eyes .

"Are you afraid of me ?" Kyle asked .

"N...no ."

"Can I kiss you , Alicia ?" He asked in his low and sexy voice .

I ... Before she could complete her sentence , Kyle slowly moved his lips closer to her lips . She closed her eyes . Kyle's lips curled into the smile . He knows he can kiss her but he doesn't want to force her in anyway .

Alicia was still standing with closed eyes and waited for him to kiss her lips but what he did surprised her . She slowly opened her eyes when Kyle's lips touched her forehead . Alicia felt touched by his actions but still thought that it's a forced marriage and this disturbed her .

Kyle held her hand and walked towards the bed. He made her sit on the bed sitting beside her . She wasn't saying anything to him. Seeing her silence , Kyle said "Alicia , I know you think of our marriage as a forced one but trust me , I really love you ."

Alicia looked in his eyes as he continued "I have always dreamed about you being by my side ever since I saw you at the party . I was depressed due to some past incidents . I was not able to sleep properly at night and it felt like I lost my happiness and peace . For the first time , I slept peacefully with you appearing in my dreams ."

Alicia smiled at him .

"Alicia , I promise you that I will always keep you happy. Even if you don't want a physical relationship with me , I just want you to be by my side . Our wedding is after one day and I am excitedly waiting for you to be mine forever. Just don't think of our marriage as a forced one please ." He said while holding her hand and looking in her eyes hopefully .

Alicia wanted to say something but words were not able to come out of her throat . She was feeling sad for him but she couldn't erase the thought of being forced to marry him . She was fighting through her feelings and was confused whether to feel sad for herself and get angry with Kyle or to happily accept this marriage because she was feeling sympathetic towards him . Kyle's words have caused a great mess in her brain .

Seeing that she wasn't saying anything , Kyle breaked the silence and said "I think I should go now . Take care of yourself and please be happy because that's the only thing I want . "

She stood up from the bed and looked at him . Kyle placed his palm on her cheek and said " I love you , Alicia . See you at our wedding ."

Kyle left her room and went downstairs to find Samuel and Lily sitting inside the living room with worried faces . They both were so lost in their thoughts that they didn't come to know when Kyle entered the living room . He cleared his throat to draw their attention towards him . Samuel looked up and saw Kyle standing in the living room .

"Mr. Smith , sorry I didn't realize when you came downstairs ." Samuel said getting up from the sofa . Lily also stood up from the sofa .

"It's okay . I should go now . Mr. William , Can I get Alicia's number?" He asked calmly .

"Sure , Mr. Smith ." Samuel said and gave him Alicia's number .

"Thank you and take care of Alicia ." Kyle said and left the house .

Alicia was standing near the window . When she saw Kyle getting in the car and drove away , she wanted to go downstairs and wanted to stop him from leaving . She wasn't able to understand why she felt like that but she didn't want him to leave her and she was also trying hard to convince herself that it's a forced marriage and she shouldn't feel anything about him.

She turned and looked at the bouquet of roses on her bed . She picked up the bouquet in her hands and saw a card within the roses . She opened the card , where only five words were written " Will you be mine forever ?" She thought that Kyle was actually here to propose to her for marriage but forgot about it . She smiled at it but again started feeling sad . At that time , her phone rang . She picked it to answer and saw an unknown number on the screen . She answered the call and heard Kyle's low and sexy voice "Hey , my love ."

She immediately recognized his voice and replied "Hey ."

"I am sorry I brought roses for you but forgot to give them to you . I know you have seen them and saw my message also , so I hope it's a yes?" Kyle asked .

Alicia didn't answer his question and asked " Did you come to propose to me ?"

"Yes , but forgot about it as our conversation took a serious turn about my past ." He said seriously .

"It's okay ." Alicia said .

"So , is it a yes ?" He asked again .

"You know that I will marry you ."

"I know but you feel our marriage as a forced one which means you don't love me . You know I don't want you to think of our marriage like this." He said . His voice sounded like he was disturbed by this thing .

Alicia took a deep breath and said "Kyle , I like you . I just need some time ."

"Really ."

He was very happy after hearing this but Alicia was feeling strange . She said to herself "No Alicia , you can't develop any feelings for him . It's a forced marriage . Stop arousing feelings for him in your heart ." She said to herself but she also started thinking about what he said to her . He doesn't want her to think of this marriage as a forced one .

Alicia's heart and mind were in a great mess . She felt like both her heart and mind were fighting with each other . Her heart was telling her to fall in love with him and her mind was telling her that she was being forced into this marriage because of him . She was silent for so long that she didn't realize Kyle was calling her name over the phone . She came out of her chain of thoughts and said " Yes , I should cut the call now . Mom is calling me . Bye."

"Bye , My love . I love you ." Kyle said happily .

"Bye ."

Kyle happily cut the call but Alicia was confused as to why she said that ? What's wrong with her feelings ? She said to Kyle that she likes him but she is also feeling hatred towards him . She was angry at herself .

In the evening , Lily came into her room . She was holding some bags in her hands .

"What's in these bags , Mom ?" She asked while looking at the bags in Lily's hands .

"These are some clothes for you and your wedding gown." Lily said with a serious and sad look on her face . She placed the bags on the bed and looked at Alicia .

"I don't need them . Take these bags away ." She said while looking out of the window .

"Alicia my little girl , You know I have dreamed of lots of things for your wedding . We will go shopping together , I will help you to choose your wedding gown and lot more but now these are all just my dreams which have been left unfulfilled ." Lily said .

Alicia didn't say anything but smiled at her . Seeing her so lost , Lily said "Alicia , come here and sit beside me . I want to talk to you . "

Alicia came and sat down beside her . She looked at her mother and a tear came out from the corner of her eyes . Lily wiped the tear with her hand and said "I know everything's happening so fast for you and you are still trying to process the news of your marriage to Kyle ."

"I don't want to leave you , mom . Please try to talk to dad."

"I am sorry Alicia , I can't go against your father's decisions . You know once he decides something , no one can change his decisions . " Lily said and touched her cheek .

"It's okay , I understand ."

"Do you like Kyle ?" Lily asked, trying to change the topic .

"He is nice and caring but I am confused ." She said while looking in Lily's eyes .

"Why are you confused ?" Lily asked .

"Today after meeting Kyle , I felt sympathetic towards him as he shared his past with me . He said that he cares about my happiness and he wants me to happily marry him . He doesn't want me to think of our marriage as a forced one and he always wants to be with me ." Alicia said and Lily smiled .

"He really loves you a lot ."Lily said .

Mom....

"Okay , sorry ."

"I like him but my mind is saying that don't fall in love with him and my heart feels he is a nice guy and he deserves to be happy ? What should I do, mom?" She asked with a worried look.

"You should always listen to your heart . It always leads you to the perfect ways . Just take a look at these clothes and if you want anything else , let me know . " She said , kissed her forehead and left the room .

After Lily left the room , Alicia said to herself

"Mom is right , I should listen to my heart . Kyle wants to be with me and he is excited to marry me but I can't get rid of the thought of being forced into this marriage ."

At night , She went downstairs to have dinner with her parents . Samuel was a little emotional but he didn't show it and only smiled at her . They were eating in silence when Alicia looked at Samuel and asked "Dad , I want to ask you something ."

"Okay , ask ." Samuel said .

"I want to know the reason why you agreed for my marriage with Kyle ?" She asked , looking at him .

"I can't tell you the reason and it's better if you never try to know it ." Samuel said , looking away from her .

"I know that Kyle has used his own ways to make you agree . I just wanted to know from you but it's okay , I will ask him if you don't want to answer ." She said calmly .

"No , you will not ask him anything ." Samuel shouted at Alicia who wasn't able to understand this strange behaviour of her father .

At night , Alicia was not able to sleep . She was thinking about Kyle and why her stupid heart was developing feelings for him . She was also confused about whether she should ask Kyle about how he made her father agree for their wedding or not ? Will she still like him and be on good terms with him after knowing about the ways he used ? What if it's bad for her ? She was thinking hard about this thing and didn't know when she had fallen asleep .

Next day when she woke up , she saw everyone was very busy at the house preparing for her wedding . Samuel was reading the news of Kyle and Alicia's upcoming wedding in the newspaper which was the headline of the front page . One day passed quickly with all the preparations of the wedding and finally , the day of her marriage to Kyle came .

Kyle woke up with a huge smile on his face. He started getting ready for his special day . He took shower and wore a black three-piece tuxedo with white shirt underneath . He applied gel on his hair to set them and was tying his shoe laces sitting on the bed when his friend , Nick walked inside .

"So , the great Kyle Smith finally decided to get married ." Nick said .

Kyle smirked and said "It's my bedroom . You should knock before entering ."

Nick ignored him and asked "Does your parents know you're getting married ?"

"Yes and they're very excited to meet their daughter-in-law ." Kyle said and stood up from the bed .

"Daughter-in-law , dude you haven't married her yet ."

" I am going to marry her in just few hours ."

Kyle went downstairs with him . They stepped out of the villa and got into the car to reach the venue .

At Alicia's house , Samuel was busy looking for last minute preparations at the wedding reception venue . Lily was helping Alicia in getting ready with her bridesmaids . Alicia was sitting in front of a mirror dressed in her white wedding gown . Her hair tied in a beautiful bun decorated with flowers and a beautiful Tiara . She was looking really pretty .

"Alicia , I am going downstairs to take care of a few things . I will come to take you when it's time to go ." Lily said and kissed her forehead .

"Okay Mom ." Alicia looked at herself in the mirror . She was looking pretty . Like every bride, she has dreamed of being the happiest bride on her big day but she wasn't feeling happy as she felt something was missing inside her .

At the wedding reception venue , guests begin to arrive . Kyle reached the venue with Nick . He met Samuel and stood at the altar with Nick. Alicia reached the venue with Lily . Samuel

went near her and held her hand . He kissed her forehead and said "My princess is looking really pretty ."

Alicia started walking towards the Altar . Samuel was holding her hand . When they reached the Altar, where Kyle was standing , Samuel placed her soft hand in Kyle's hand and went to sit beside Lily . Alicia's face was covered with a veil but Kyle was still able to see her face through it . The priest started the ceremony . Soon , they finished their vows and exchanged the rings . The priest asked Kyle to kiss the bride .

Kyle smiled and took a step closer to her . He slowly lifted her veil and looked into her deep blue ocean eyes . He smiled and pressed his lips to hers, kissing her softly . Everyone cheered for them . When he broke the kiss , he saw a tear at the corner of her eyes . He quickly wiped it off with his thumb . The priest pronounced them as husband and wife . Lily and Samuel were a little bit emotional but also happy for their daughter .

"Congratulations , brother and sister-in-law ." Nick said and hugged Kyle .

"Thank you , Nick ." He looked at Alicia and said introducing her to Nick "He is Nick , my bestfriend ."

"Hello , Thanks for coming ." Alicia said in her soft voice .

Kyle held her hand and started walking outside where the wedding reception was held . Kyle went to talk about something with Samuel , leaving her with Lily .

"I hope you will never tell her anything ." Samuel said .

"What if I do tell her everything ? Will you stop me ?" Kyle asked with a smirk on his face .

"I will take Alicia away from you ."

Kyle looked at him with his piercing gaze "Don't even think about it otherwise I will not only tell her everything but I will also make you pay for everything you did ."

"Alicia , Are you happy ?" Lily asked her .

"I am happy mom . Just a little emotional too because I have to leave you ." Alicia said and Lily smiled touching her cheek .

Alicia's friend , Livia came to her and said "Congratulations Alicia . I can't believe you're Kyle Smith's wife now . You're so lucky ."

Alicia was not excited about this but still smiled and said "Thank you ."

Suddenly , Alicia felt a touch of hand on her waist . She looked at her side and saw Kyle . He kissed her cheek and whispered in her ear "You're looking much more gorgeous than I had imagined . "

"You're really very lucky Alicia . He loves you so much ." Livia said excitedly .

"Yes, I love her more than I love myself ." He said and started talking with Livia . Alicia was silently listening to their conversation .

"Now if you allow me , I would like to dance with my beautiful wife ." Kyle said and held her hand as they both walked towards the dance floor . They both were moving to the music as Kyle was holding her one hand with his other hand on her waist . They both were looking in each other's eyes . After the reception ended with all the celebration , they were ready to leave . Alicia stepped forward and hugged her father . Later , she hugged Lily and said "Take care of yourself."

The reporters were taking their photographs as they were walking out of the venue to get into the car that was waiting for them. The driver started driving . Alicia's gaze was shifted to the outside world . She was nervous thinking about her new life , which she is going to start with Kyle . Will it be full of love as she has dreamed ? Will she have a happy family with Kyle or will this be just a forced marriage without any love between them ?

As she was thinking about this all , Kyle held her hand and smiled at her . She looked at him like she wanted to say something to him but words were stuck somewhere in her throat . She didn't say anything and continued looking outside the car window .

After some time , she started feeling sleepy . Seeing her falling asleep , Kyle carefully placed her head on his shoulder and wrapped his arm around her shoulder kissing the crown of her head . He was looking at her with his eyes full of love through the drive to his Villa .

It was almost night when they reached home . Soon , their car entered the huge iron gate and stopped in front of a huge white villa . Kyle looked at Alicia , who was sleeping peacefully on his shoulder . Kyle didn't want to wake her up but he had to wake her up . Kyle touched her soft cheek with his right hand and said " Alicia , wake up . We are home ."

She opened her eyes slowly and looked at Kyle's handsome face . They both stepped out of the car .

Kyle held her hand and started walking towards the villa . They both entered the villa and Alicia was really surprised looking at the white walls of the living room and interiors. Everything was looking beautiful .

A woman came out of the kitchen .

"Congratulations , Master . I am very happy for you . " She congratulated Kyle with a huge smile on her face .

"Thank you ." Kyle said to her and then turned to look at Alicia and said " This is Mrs . Ferguson , the housekeeper ."

"Master , your bride is very pretty ."

"Yes , She is ." Kyle said, looking at Alicia lovingly .

"Mrs . Ferguson , show her the room ."

"Yes , Master ."

Kyle whispered in Alicia's ear " I have to make an important phone call . Wait for me to come before changing the gown." Alicia's cheeks turned red as she saw Kyle walking towards a room .

"Come , Mrs. Smith . I will show you the room ."

They went upstairs and Mrs . Ferguson opened the door of Kyle's room . Alicia stepped inside the room and looked around . The room was also painted in white like the living room and looked like it had been redecorated as there were lots of things which Alicia could relate to as a newly married . Although the room was painted white but those things were making the room beautiful . The whole room was decorated with scented candles . While observing the room , her gaze stopped at the king size bed in the middle of the room . The bed was beautifully decorated with rose petals . Alicia's heart picked race looking at the bed .

Kyle was inside his study talking with someone .

"Did you find anything about the person ?" Kyle asked to the person on the other side .

"I am trying my best sir but it's hard to find him ." The person replied .

Kyle disconnected the call without replying . He slammed his fist hard on the table in anger .
