Freda POV's "Sit, Freda," Miranda my best friend said as she gestured for me to sit down with a weird expression which got me extremely worried. "What's wrong Miranda," I couldn't help but ask, because since she came back from the mall she's been acting really strange and it's been freaking me out, She sighed and she sat beside me, holding my hands in hers. "I don't know how to say this Freda, but Jake isn't the right man for you," She said and I slowly pulled away my hand from hers, wondering where she got the guts to say that.
Jake and I have been dating for three years now, infact we're already engaged, so I don't know why she'd say such rubbish about him. "You're my friend Miranda, but I won't tolerate it when you say trash about Jake, a man I'm about getting married to," I replied strictly, trying to prevent myself from yelling at her. "I'm sorry Freda, I've caught Jake cheating countless times but I just didn't want to tell you about it because I know how much you love him, but seeing him today at the mall kissing another lady, I couldn't leave with the way he's cheating and disrespecting you," She said and she cleaned the little drop of tears that fell from her eyes. I moved backwards not wanting to believe my ears. "That's a lie Miranda, Jake loves me, he won't cheat on me," I said shaking my head, my legs failed me as it was shaking vigorously with my breathe hitched. "Here, I took a video of them," She said and she gave me her phone which I hurriedly took only to see exactly what Miranda had said, but I was still in denial, refusing to accept the truth right in front of me. "I went to the mall to get some stuffs," she paused and she stared at me who was waiting for her anxiously. "When I got there, I saw him kissing another girl. At first I didn't believe it was him not until he turned around and I got to see his face clearly," She said taking a shaky breath. "J Jake is cheating on me?" I asked no one in particular as her words sunk in, the reality of the situation hit me like a ton of bricks. Tears began to stream down my cheeks, and I struggled to catch my breath. I couldn't believe my boyfriend, the person I loved and trusted had betrayed me in the worst possible way. "It's going to be okay," Miranda said, pulling me into a hug. "I'm here for you, and we'll figure this out."She assured but I was willing to give Jake the benefits of doubt, I didn't want to believe he'd throw away the three good years we've been together, through thick and thin with each other. I quickly pulled away from her arms and I wiped off my face. "I'm going to see Jake, he wouldn't cheat on me, he wouldn't!" I half yelled, refusing to see the truth which was right in front of me. "Oh honey," Miranda said, her voice soft and full of sympathy. I didn't want any fucking sympathy, I just wanted to hear him say all of this was a prank or a dream I needed to wake up from. Without waiting for any further delay, I rushed out of the room. "Freda! Freda! You can't leave, we can go in the Morning," Miranda yelled and she ran after me, but I paid deaf ears to her. I ran across the road, my breath coming in gasps. My heart was racing, and I could feel the adrenaline coursing through my veins. I waved down a cab, and I got in together with Miranda who hurriedly rushed in. "Go!" I yelled at the driver, my voice hoarse from crying. The cab immediately hit the road, the tires squealing as they hit the pavement. I leaned back against the seat, my body trembling. Miranda was silent, but she wrapped her arms around me, giving me comfort. [An hour later] I stumbled out of the cab, and I quickly ran to Jake's apartment. I froze as I saw the high-heeled shoe lying just outside the door of Jake's room. My heart sink, and a wave of nausea hit me, But then i shook my head, trying to push away the dark thoughts that were threatening to overwhelm me. "It's probably just a friend," I assured myself, my voice sounding hollow in my own ears. But even as i said the words, I knew I didn't believe them. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. I gently pushed the door opened and I walked in only to be welcomed with sounds of moans and a lady's voice screaming for him to go harder. "N no, No!" I yelled and I ran to his room to witness the unholy sight with my two eyes. Jake and Ashley were both naked on the bed having sex, this was the same lady he told me was his cousin sister, meaning I've been played countless times without noticing a thing. How foolish was I to believe him. "Jake!" I yelled, standing by the doorway, my arms folded across my chest. I was trembling with anger, my eyes blazing with fury.Jake sat on the bed, his face pale and his eyes wide with fear. I could see he tried to speak, but the words stuck in his throat. He knew he had finally been caught after all this years of playing me like I was a fool. My voice was cold and hard as I spoke, covering the pains I felt within. "What do you have to say for yourself?" I demanded, my tone leaving no room for excuses. My mouth fell open in shock as Jake stood up completely naked. Instead of the shame or remorse i had expected to see on his face, he was smiling. "You think this is funny?" I asked, my voice at the verge of breaking down. Jake laughed harder, his eyes glinting with amusement. "You're so naïve, it's hilarious," he said, his tone full of mockery. I felt my blood boil, and ny eyes glinting in anger. "Yes I know I deflowered you Freda, but you just sucks on bed okay? You can't even satisfy me. You're a total waste!" I recoiled as if i had been slapped. His words were like a knife to my heart, and i felt my breath caught in my throat. "How dare you," I said, my voice shaking. "I have always given you my all, and this is how you repay me?" Jake scoffed and then a look of contempt passed over his face. "Yeah I know you've been the one paying my bills and all, but you just can't satisfy me like the way she does," he sneered and Ashley smiled running his chest. "Really huh? Is that what you take me for? A sex tool?" I asking hoping he wouldn't say anything that would hurt me further, but instead his next words crushed me. "I know you're daft but I didn't expect you to be this stupid. Fine! From the start I never loved you, but seeing all the good things you provided for me, I decided to give it a try. But now I don't think I can continue this three years of being in a hellhole with you, because I love Ashley," He said seriously without remorse and he kissed her in front of me. Before she could think, I lunged forward and my hand flew out and connected with Jake's face. The sound of the slap echoed in the room, and for a moment the only sound was the ringing in his ears. Jake's hand flew to his face, his eyes wide with shock and pain. "You hit me?" he asked, his voice trembling. "You actually hit me?" "Thanks for making me happy this past three years even if it was all pretense. But I hope we'd never see each other ever again!" I spat and I ran out of the room, letting my tears flow freely. "Hey are you okay?" Miranda asked the moment she saw me, her voice etched with concern and worry. She didn't actually followed me in. I shook my head, unable to speak. Tears streamed down mg cheeks, and I could feel her body shaking. "Come on, let's go home, he doesn't deserve you," She said and she tried to hold me but I moved backwards. "He actually broke up with me because I'm not good on bed," I said choking on my own words. "It hurts like hell Miranda, I'm tired," I cried and she quickly pulled me in her arms. "You'll get through this, it's gonna be fine," She said and I slowly pulled away from her, wiping away the tears in my eyes. "Do you know of any nearby clubhouse? I wanna fuck and get wasted. Only by tasting another dick I'd know if I'm really bad at sex," I stated, feeling the anger shrugging through my veins. I'm tired of been the goody shoes.
Freda POV's We both walked into the luxurious clubhouse and was immediately welcomed with the odd smell of alcohol and loud music booming over the entire building. I smiled and I walked further into the club. Miranda actually tried to stop me from coming here but I insisted because this was what I needed at the moment. "Stay close to me Freda," Miranda said trailing behind me. The sound of laughter and conversation filled the air. The clubhouse was packed with people enjoying themselves, and I felt a thrill of anticipation. I couldn't wait to see what the night had in store for me.
Finally I got to the counter and I met the bartender. "Hey, I want the strongest drink you have." The bartender raised an eyebrow, but he didn't question my request. He simply nodded and started mixing a drink that looked like it could knock a person out. "Freya are you sure about this? We can just go home now," Miranda said and I scoffed. "C'mon Miranda, you don't need to fret, you are here to watch over me right? So just let me do this," I said giving her a puppy face and she shrugged. "Here's your drink miss," The bartender gave me the drink. I slowly took it and I took a long sip. The alcohol burned my throat and I hissed but I welcomed the feeling. I needed something to take the edge off. Few hours later... The floor was littered with empty beer bottles, and in the center of the mess, I sat there sobbing into my hands. Miranda sat next me, rubbing my back and whispering words of comfort, but I lean my head on her shoulders heaving as I cried. My eyes were red and puffy. "It hurts Miranda, I just wanna get him out of my head!" I yelled and I tried taking the bottle of beer but she forcefully took it away from me. "Stop this Freda, I know you're hurting but I won't watch you do this to yourself. Let's leave now!" She yelled and as I tried to stand up I felt the urge to throw up, my eyes were spinning and I quickly moved away from her not wanting to embarrass myself. "I I need to use the bathroom," I sputtered choking on my own breathe. "Where is the bathroom?" Miranda asked the bartender and he quickly gave directions, but before she could assist me, I was already gone. This was the chance I wanted since the first moment we got into this clubhouse. I know the things I wanted to do where unlike me, but with Miranda by my side, she wouldn't let me do any of this. I stumbled into the bathroom, my head spinning and my stomach churning. I barely made it to the toilet before the contents of my stomach came rushing up, and I throw up into the bowl. I retched again and again, my body shaking. I was drenched in sweat, and tears slowly trickled down my cheeks. "You fool! Men are fucking liar, you'll deserved to rot in the darkest abyss where you belong!" I yelled stumping my foot of the floor. "I'd rather say women are crazy, because why would a woman be in a man's bathroom cursing at them? How ironic," I heard a deep musky voice said behind me. I immediately whirled around, my breath caught in my throat. A man stood there, his dark eyes glittering and his dark clothes giving him a dangerous air. He was tall and broad-shouldered, and I couldn't help but think he looked incredibly hot. But there was something about him that made me uneasy. I couldn't put my finger on it, but my instincts were telling me that this man was not to be trusted. But on the dark side, my other instinct kicked in. "Freda this is exactly what you want, to get laid and wasted. Imagine spending a night with him? He'd be much more better than you lame ex boyfriend, don't loose this moment for anything in the world," My subconscious mind stated. I took in a deep breath and slowly approached him. I knew I was taking a risk, but I had to know if my instincts were right. As I got closer, I could feel my heart pounding in my chest. I reached out and placed my hands on his chest, and was shocked by how solid and warm he felt. I looked up into his eyes, and I smirked. "Do you mind having this crazy woman for a night? Down there I'll show you why men deserve to be thrown into the dark abyss, and you'd bring out the craziness in me," I said quietly, still looking him in his eyes and also bitting my lips. I didn't know if I was the one doing all of this, or it was the effect of drinking too much alcohol, but I just wanted to go on with the flow. "I think you need your daddy to take you home little girl. Perhaps your nanny? Who brought you here?" He asked and I scoffed hating the expression on his face. It was the same expression Jake had and it made me extremely angry and determined. "I guess you'd be missing this then," I said and I slowly unzipped my dress exposing my breast. I saw him clenched his fist and I knew I had an effect on him, so I started massaging my breast gently. "Fuck! Don't regret this afterwards little girl, I don't do kids, but since you insist. Don't blame me for this," He said and he slammed his lips on mine, as our lips met, a tangling sensation coursed through my body, I felt my hands cupped his face and I deepened the kiss, with his hands roaming around every part of my body. "Fuck it!" He groaned breathing heavily and he suddenly carried me on his shoulders with his hands constantly spanking my ass. He opened the door and he immediately threw me on the bed with a sly smile on his face. "You want this?" "Just do it already!" I stated with urgency.
Freda POV's I slowly opened my eyes and blinked, disoriented by the bright sunlight streaming through the window. I sat up and looked around, the room was unfamiliar, and I couldn't remember how she had gotten there, not until I saw my undies on the floor, with my clothes scattered all around. I sighed realizing I was naked, and that was how the event of last night played in my head. I had totally had sex with a stranger. I gathered the duvet around my body and I tried to stand up but I winced painfully and I fell back on the bed. My virginal area hurt like hell, and my legs felt numb.
It was hell of an experience last night and I enjoyed every bit of it even if he made me cry. It was just so different from the sex I usually had with Jake. I looked around the room, but he was nowhere to be found. I hurriedly checked the bathroom, the closet, and even under the bed, but he was nowhere to be seen. I felt a stab of fear in her chest, but i suddenly laughed, what was I expecting? It was just sex. Something meant to be forgotten. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the light, my hair was a mess, and my makeup was smudged and smeared. I ran the water and splashed my face, trying to wake herself up and feel more human. [Few minutes later] I sat down on the bed not knowing what to do. The sound of my phone ringing made me jump in fright, I reached for it and I breathed a sigh of relief when she saw it was Miranda calling. I immediately answered the call. "Where the hell are you! I've been here all night searching for you. Why can't you just listen to me and let go of that good for nothing Jake!" She yelled angrily and I rolled my eyes. "Hey bestie," I said sarcastically. "You don't get to dictate my life for me okay? I've been too good to an extent it ruin my relationship. Now I just want to leave my life! Can't you just get that!" I yelled back at her and silence fell between the both of us. "I'm at the bar, at the counter, come meet me there," She said and she ended the call. I sigh and I dragged my lazy ass up and I left the room. I also felt bad for talking to Miranda that way, she's been nothing but kind to me, but here I was venting my anger on her. Finally I got to the counter and I met her sitting down there alone, wrapping her arms around her body. "I'm sorry," I said and she slowly looked up. "Let's go home, it's been a long night. We both need to rest," She said and she stood up and left while I trailed behind her. I knew she was angry and I had to find a way to apologize. She boarded a cab and we drove home, but I had this icy feeling that someone was unto us, I noticed a car trailing after us until we got to our destination. I didn't know if Miranda didn't notice because she was angry, but I did and I tried to shake this uneasy feeling out. "Talk to me Bestie, please don't keep me quiet, I'm sorry," I said the moment we got into our room and she heaved. "I'm not angry at you, I'm just mad at myself for caring too much. I mean we're same age, what gave me the right to act as if I'm older," She said and I pulled her into my arms. "To me you're more than a friend Miranda, please don't push me away. I can't bear to loose you," I said and she hugged me back, but she suddenly pulled away. "Did you get yourself in any mess last night?" She asked and I shook my head, then again I decided to come clean. "Nothing serious, just that I had sex with a stranger," I replied and she frowned. "That's not it, you can choose to have sex with anyone as long as it's not Jake. But I'm talking about something rather serious," She said and I furrowed my eyebrows, seeing how serious she was. "I think we're in trouble. Someone I've been trailing us ever since we left the clubhouse. I thought i was just imagining things not until Tessy texted me that a group of men were asking about you. More like an investigation," She said and my face dropped. Tessy is actually our neighbor, and if what she said is the truth. Then I'm in a hot mess. "An investigation? I mean I've done nothing wrong to anyone. Who could have been monitoring me?" I asked and she tap her foot on the floor and her eyes suddenly dimmed. "How about Jake? He must have been stalking you," Miranda said and I shook my head. "Jake wouldn't do that. He doesn't have to investigate anything about me when he already knows everything," I replied and she stared at me worriedly. "Who could it be?" "I don't know!" I hurriedly replied. "We need to be careful," Miranda said and she began closing all of the windows and I joined her in doing same. "We're going house hunting tomorrow morning Freda, I can't risk our safety," She said and I could tell she was panicking. "It's all right Miranda, take a deep breathe," I said and she did as told and I took her to her room, making sure she was put to bed and I went to mine afterwards. My phone suddenly buzzed , and I looked down to see a text from an unknown number. I opened the message, and my eyes widened in shock as I read the words on the screen. "I'm watching you, hope you're ready to meet me soon?" it said, I felt my hands start to shake, and my pulse quickened. I looked around, but I couldn't see anyone nearby. "Who is this?" I texted back, my fingers trembling as I typed. "You know who I am, little girl," Came the reply and I flinched. "Holy molly!"
