Chapter 1 Where am I

'Mmm...' Sarah moaned, pissed by the warm light hitting her skin. She was exhausted. "5 more minutes..." she mumbled as she begged herself "just five more minutes and then we'll get up and get things done." But there is no more sleep for her now that her overly anxious planner side was awake. She slowly opened her eyes, grumbling to herself as the bright sun rays graced her vision. The first sight was a little blurry, she had been so drunk last night and now her head was pounding. She yawned, and rubbed her eyes, the second sight was unfamiliar.

It didn't look like her hotel room or any of the ones she remembers from the days before. She blinked a couple of times before analyzing the room. It was large and elegantly decorated, the detail was too precise, not like a hotel. If it were a hotel she'd have to break her bank to pay for such a luxurious room. But if it wasn't a hotel.......

The realization that she was at a random person's house and could possibly have been kidnaped hit her hard. She was quick to jump out of the blankets and check herself. After confirming that she had not been abused she hastily let out a breathe of relieve. Her heart rate plummeted again, she was in Italy which was unchartered territory for her and now she was at this house and didn't know how to get back to her friends. Why was she here? What if the home owner was a human trafficker? What if they wanted her organs? No. she had to leave, right away.

She looked around the room for her phone and the purse she had last night. She couldn't find either of them. "Never mind. Let's leave this place first. What was the hotel name? Muz..., lux? Ruz.......... Something. Damn I can't remember? Why did I drink so much? Is the door even open?" her mind was all over the place. Eventually she made it to the door and upon pulling once it opened. She somewhat regained some of her composure. It can't be that bad if the doors are not closed or tightly guarded. Staring at the long hallway extending on either sides of her vision she chose to go right. She was panting, what if she got caught? She still didn't know how she had gotten here in the first place. In her panicked state she tried to figure out her next move and remember the events from the night before, simultaneously.

"Ruzzini Palace" her lips when ahead and blurted, at least now she knew where to go from here all she had to do was get out. She had walked for what felt like 20 minutes but she was still in that damned hallway and for some reason she felt like she had walked past the exact same spot three time by now.

In another corner of the mansion, a man looked down at the security footage on his tablet with a face full of amusement. Being able to get lost so much must be a skill on its own. Suddenly the little woman in the video dropped her jacket to the ground and walked on. A smile traced his lips. It seems the little woman had figured out that she might be caught in a loop. At his time a wicked thought crossed his mind. What if he had someone go over and pick up the jacket before she gets back? She would be so confused walking through an endless hallway. But that was just a thought. He didn't wish to act on it, just thought it would be funny. At this moment a man in a suit came up to him and announced that breakfast was ready to be served.

"Well I guess its time to feed her now. She must be tired from all that walking." He said to himself. With that he left his sit and walked into the house. Going straight towards the young lady who was just about to pick up her jacket after figuring out that she was stuck in a loop.

"Are you lost?" A husky voice sounded from behind her, slow and deep, an extremely sexy voice. She'd have been simping right now if not for the fact that she wasn't sure what fate she would have and this man could well be her abductor. The thought flashed through her mind again and she felt her throat dry up. Without turning around she replied in the most fearful voice ever, she did not even know that she could sound so pitiful. "Yea it seems so. Hi. I don't know how I got here"

Hearing what a scared little cat she sounded like the man couldn't help smirking. "I know how you got here. In my car, I brought you here." He said casually. She panicked, her eyes shut tight. This man was indeed her abductor. What did he want? Money? Was he a human trafficker? Would he murder her? Her mind was spiraling. Two seconds felt like forever. She suddenly decided to negotiate for her head because she wasn't about to die in a foreign country and ruin her best friend's wedding.

Slowly she turned around, her hands glued to her face, covering her eyes tightly. "Kind sir, I don't know why you brought me here but I can assure you that you have the wrong person. If you want money, trust me, you are richer than me. Plus no one will pay a ransom for me, I don't have a family. I only have one kidney and my lungs are lousy so cutting me up won't do you any good either."

At this point he was cracking up inside, he tried so hard to hold back his laughter and to stay in character, "hmm. What if I don't want money? I never planned to cut you open." He said somewhat mysteriously. "What do you want then?" she asked anxiously her hands still glued to her eyes she was getting really scared now. She didn't like how unbothered his tone was. It was like he'd done this before. Was he a psychopath? With such a nice voice? What a shame.

"If you want me.......You... deserve better." She said quite hesitantly. "Look my eyes are closed and I can't see you. I don't know what you look like or where I am. If you just blindfold me and drive me out of here, we can pretend we never met. I won't go to the police, I don't even know your name." she was almost most pleading at this point.

Hearing the reason why she had her eyes closed, he could not hold himself back and let a low chuckle escape his throat. To her it sounded quite intimidating, although it was pleasing to the ears. Composing himself once more he took a couple of steps towards her. He bent over slightly and whispered into her ears "my name is Aldo Aicardi. I didn't think you would forget so soon, Sarah."

"You know my name?"

"Of course. Ndolo Sarah Etoundi, 28 year old female, Cameroonian national, former figure skater, studied at HAVARD business school. You're here for your best friend's wedding." She almost fell to the ground hearing a stranger calmly tell her own biography

Chapter 2 I was your fan.

He was quick to grab her. Her hands were still glued to her eyes and there was nothing to leverage her fall. Realizing that he may have gone too far with this little joke he explained himself. "You can open your eyes we met at Julia's party last night."

Her heat calmed almost instantly Julia is her friend whose wedding she was planning. If he knows Julia then she has to be safe. Sarah slowly opened her eyes. But the man had not yet let go of her and so she found herself in a rather odd position when she opened her eyes. One of those cringe scenes from romance movies when the female lead trips and get caught ever so gracefully by the male lead. She had always hated those melodramatic story lines, but, here she was living one, it was ridiculous.

As if he had been reading her mind he made sure she was standing properly and then slowly let go. Maybe he wasn't the romantic type, either, but boy was he fine. He looked like he was sculpted by the Gods, no, like he was a god. Sarah stared, for an ungodly amount of time. She had always considered herself tall but this man towered over her. The legs, so long and muscular, what a fine day to wear shorts. And his abdominal muscles peeking out through the shirt that clung on to his body, she could count all eight of them and even trace out the mermaid line. He noticed her checking him out and grinned "do you remember me now? "He asked playfully. Within seconds that beautiful face of his was right before her eyes. If she wasnt covered in melanin she would be blushing profusely. She snapped out of her daze. What a ridiculous question to ask, of course she remembered him. He had been the topic of discussion al through the bachelorette party and the engagement reenactment party and the presentation party. He was just a guest but he completely stole the show. In a good way though. All lot of people started talking about how influential the Canossa's were for getting him as a guess at their son's wedding. However from what her friend Julia told her, it seemed that he had come because of her not her husband.

Many said that it would be the wedding of the year for that single fact. She had to be proud after all she had planned the whole thing.

But how did she end up here?

"Mr. Accardi, of course I remember you. I just didn't know your name before." She said trying to avoid his eyes that seemed to pierce through her clothes, through her skin, her bones, like they could see her soul.

"I told you yesterday on our way here. Do you remember last night?"

"Not at all was I too drunk. Did I do something wrong? I'm so sorry if I was rude. How did we end up here?"

"I found you sleeping in my car. Then you woke up and said a few things before asking for a tour of my house. You were pretty drunk so I

thought I'd bring you here first and then take you back when you sobered up."

"I can only imagine the inconvenience. I'm so sorry."

"No need. I was my pleasure. Come have something to eat. We can do the house tour later." He said invitingly and gestured for her to follow him. Every word, every action, every gesture of his was very elegant, gracious and carried an irresistible sex appeal. She suddenly felt a little stupid for thinking he wanted to kidnap her. What would a man like him want with her type? He must have been amused and brought her here for the fun of it. While she was lost in her thoughts and shame, he body quietly followed behind him. She missed something special, the look on his face at this moment was priceless. He grinned as he remembered the 'few things' she had said to him last night in the car.

The dining room was a huge hall connected to the kitchen by yet another hallway. It was finely decorated and dimly lit, giving off the vibe of a fancy restaurant. By the time they arrived the foods had been served. A large table at the center of the room was full of food, like a buffet. How should two people finish this much food?

"I wasn't sure what you prefer for breakfast so I had them make a bit of everything. Eat what you like, next time the meals will be tailored to suite your taste."

"No next time "she quickly interrupted, waving her hands hurriedly. "I won't get drunk and bother you again. In fact I won't have another sip of alcohol till I leave Italy."

He didn't address that, he simply handed her a plate and took one for himself. She decided to settle for a light breakfast to deal with her hangover. She could tell the food was good, if not for her current state she would have actually been able to enjoy it. As she chewed down a piece of bread, she suddenly remembered something.

"About my nationality and everything..... Did I say all that when I was drunk?" She asked slightly closing her eyes in embarrassment.

"No"

"Huh?"

He took a sip of coffee and used the napkin to wipe the edges of his lips. He then turned to her with a smile and said, "I was a huge fan. My father and I watched every one of your tournaments. We even travelled to watch you compete during the winter Olympics."

"Oh .... Ok, thanks... I guess."

"Don't worry, wont pester you for an autograph I promise?"

His words immediately lightened up the mood and they both laughed.

Chapter 3 I still am

"Thanks for bringing me here vie been exhausted these past few days."

"I would expect that, considering, you are planning a wedding that you are also maid of honor at. Justino is so thoughtless for putting you through this." He said and sipped on his coffee, his expression was different for a second. It gave of a bit of annoyance, like he was mad.

"Not Justin, Julia, she is the one who is putting me through this. So I suggest we don't blame him, Julia can be quite persuasive when she wants something. "Sarah replied with a sigh. She suddenly remembered something and gasped. "Today I need to supervise the video dairies. What is the time now?"

"9 AM" he said calmly. A maid walked in and he gestured for her to come closer and deliver this things in her hands. She bowed politely to Sarah and carefully placed her phone and purse on the table next to her before rising and walking out. A gracious smile laced Sarah's lips as she said thank you to the maid with a whisper and a slight quick bow. Walking out the little maids expression was that of disbelieve. She had worked at the mansion since she was little. None of the young ladies who visited the place were offered such grand treatment. It was the first time she saw her boss eat with anyone on the same table, not to mention sitting so close to each bother. And this young lady seemed to be quite the opposite of every other lady who had visited the mansion. Everyone else seemed to know exactly where they fit, and would never address any of the help in anyway. But this woman even said thank you and bowed. As soon as her body stepped out of the dining hall her feet paced up , it seemed that new lady would be the topic of discussion for the next week or two in this house where nothing exiting ever happens.

Back in the dining room, two unevenly matched individuals sat and ate breakfast together. One with all the class and elegance in the world. The other slight hungover, unwell, and ill-placed and clearly lacking in table etiquette.

Rummaging through her purse she found the keys to her room, her cards and everything still in place. Not that it could have been stolen, just lost, yes she was just making sure that she didn't lose anything on the way here. She picked up the keys so it wouldn't look that she was suspecting him of theft. She then dropped the purse, picked up her phone and tried to power it on. To her surprise it was fully charged. 'He must have had someone charge it' she thought silently to herself. As soon as it was done booting the lock screen was flooded with messages and notification.

"208 missed calls!" She gasped. "Why the hell is she calling me two hundred and eight damn times!" looking through the call history she finds that it was Julia calling.

"Julia?" he checks.

"Yeah." She starts to worry that something might be wrong so she decides to call back.

The line rings for a while before it gets connected

"Hey, I just saw your missed calls is everything ok?" Sarah asks anxiously only to hear Justin's voice instead.

"Yup, everything is fine. She was just calling to check up on you, where you went?" he whispered.

"Why are you whispering?" she whispered back

"Because her morning sickness started and she doesn't want to hear people breathe. Please come back. Save me" Justin said trying to sound miserable.

"Ok I'm on my way. Let's meet for lunch we need to discuss the sitting arrangements for tomorrow's reception party. And tell her she can't keep adding events to the plan the day before."

"Not me. You tell her. She'll murder me" he exaggerated again. She just rolled her eyes on the other end of the call and sighed.

"Fine just get her to lunch. Text me where you guys decide to go. I'll go there after checking on the filming with your folks. Bye." She said and then hung up. Looking up to the man before her she smiled and said, "It seems I can't take that tour today".

"Shame. "He replied calmly. "We can reschedule if you would like that."

"I would want to cause any inconvenience...."she replied. He was being so nice but all she did was create trouble for him. How could she shamelessly accept this?

"Not at all. Consider it a form of fan service. It will be more of a bother to you that it will be to me, I promise."

"Oh right, fan service because you use to be a fan. But wouldn't that be abuse of title, besides I'm retired .it is a disservice to you."

"I still am, so, no its not. I'm glad to have you here. Anytime."

And with that, home girl was whipped. Something about having such a powerful ex fan felt so fucking good. She was very interested in getting the man.... No, the house and it's.... surroundings better.
