Jamal make it snappy,you won't want to be late on your first day." My mom yelled. I sighed adjusting my tie.

"This gonna be hard." I thought getting my backpack from my bed. i stepped out of my room going to the dinning room.

"Wow,look who we have here." My younger sister says staring at me.

"Morning to you too." I said rolling my eyes, mom giggled.

"Good morning mom." I greeted kissing her cheeks.

"Morning son,how was your night?"

"Great i guess." I replied sitting beside my sister.

"You look dazzling, all girls are gonna drool over you." My mom said smiling.

"I bet." My sister says winking at me..

"Where is dad?" I Inquired my eyes darting round the dinning room.

"He has gone to work,you know your dad and businesses." She replied. I nodded focusing on my food.

"You're gonna enjoy my school, it's the best."

"I know you don't need to tell me."i said rolling my eyes.

"I wish you could be close to the Akintola 's Twins." My sis said

"Seriously,Teemah, i haven't been registered,you're already wishing me to be close to someone i don't know." I said frustrated by her talkings. She shrugged.

"I want to be close to them,being their school daughter would be great especially having Temmy as my school mother.

"Seriously,how does that has to do with my closeness with them." I inquired.

"Okay kids can you keep the talks for another day " My mom said stopping Teemah from saying what she wanted to say. Teemah sighed staring at me,i rolled my eyes.

I stae out of the window as mom drove us to school

"I miss Nigeria air, staying in states make me realize that but as much as i miss it,i don't wish to come back.

The reason why my dad brought me back to this country is unknown.

Being the only son can be frustrating. Yes I'm the only son in between two beautiful annoying sisters but my elder sister is not living with us,she is staying at Abuja taking care of my father's company.

My mom is yoruba who grew up in the northern part of Nigeria while my dad is Hausa who grew up in eastern part of Nigeria. How they found each other is a mystery to me.

I'm Eighteen, three years older than my little sis and five years younger than my elder sister. I grew up in the state not until last week when my dad brought me back to Nigeria for a reason best know to him*eyes rolled.*

"We are here."my sister yelled as my mom give the school security our pass card.

"Morning Mrs Kareem." The security man greeted.

"Morning Mr babs, how's family?"

"They're fine."

"Madam,this your boy fine o,se i no go be your in-laws bayi?" The other security joked, my mom smile collecting the black pass card.

"Bye bye." The security man waved as she drove in.

I highlighted as she parked at the school parking lot,

My eyes darted around the school,the school is a gigantic school with a gigantic compound. A wow escaped my lips at the beauty of the school,there are student in cream checkers shirt with grey pant/skirt snooping around.

"Like what you see." My sister says giggling.

"I roll my eyes.

I was still drunk in the beauty of the school when a car,i mean the latest 2022 Porsche Parked beside us.

"The Akintola's Twins ." My sister said blushing,i stare at her perplexed.

The car door opened,a black heels sneaker stepped out with Adidas printed on it,i watch anxiously as the second leg stepped out before i could glance at the owner my mom called me.

"Let's go." She said, i turn to get a glimpse of the owner,all i could see was back view.

After registering at the principal's office, a man was instructed to take me to my class.

"I hope you would enjoy our school." The man said smiling as the elevator opens. We approach a white door with golden knob,the man opened the white door and step in.

"Class we have newbie in our mist." The man said, the class shouted.

"Come in." He says from inside. I breathe in and out alittle bit nervous.

"Wow." The class chorused as i step in

"So cute."

"Young Man, introduce yourself." The man said.

"Jamal Kareem." I introduced.

"Nice meeting you hottie." A girl yelled,the Man chuckles.

"Seems you won their heart." He said.

"Jamal find a seat to sit." The man said,i eye scan the class searching for empty seat, i found two empty chairs at the first three column of the second row.

"Seat with me cutie." A fair girl says winking at me as i Walk towards the empty seats. I ignore her sitting on one of the empty seats. I could see them giving me weird stares .

"Jamal can you seat on another seat?" The man said gulping nervously.

"I'm okay here sir."i replied staring at him perplexed.

"You can seat at the back, there are empty seats at the back."

"I don't like seating at the back."

"Ooh,the...... never mind." He was about to say something but stopped seeing my questioning look.

"Mr Kareem, enjoy your day." He said before walking out..

Immediately he walked out,a girl with long artificial dread approach me.

"Hi, I'm Katherine, you can call me Kathy or Kate."

"I'm ......

"I know your name,you just introduce yourself."

"Nice meeting you."

"Same here."

"If only you know who owns the seat you're seating,you won't be sitting on it." She said,i stare at her perplexed.

"Who owns the seats?" I inquired anxiously staring at her,she was about to reply when a woman in her early thirties or late walk in.

"Settle down class " she said dropping the books and laptop she was holding on the desk that was in front of the class.

I heard we have a newbie in our mist."

"Yes " the class chorused.

"Newbie should introduce his self." She instructed,i stood up

"Jamal Kareem." I introduced.

"Nice meeting you Jamal, I'm Mrs chuks, I'm teaching Government." She introduced.

"Same here ma." I said,she signal me to seat,i sat down penning down what she wrote on the Marker board.

"What's our topic for the week class.?" She inquired opening her laptop.

"Constitution." A boy said .

"Who can define constitution?" She asked her eyes on the class,the class was silent nobody was raising his or her hand.

"Jamal." She called,i stood up nervously

"Constitution is a body or system of fundamental rules and laws according to which a state is constituted and governed.

"According to Ranney 1958?"

"He define it as the whole body of fundamental rules, written, unwritten,legal,extra legal according to which a particular government operates."

"According to Robertson?"

He define constitution as sets of right,powers and procedures regulating the relationship among the public authority and between the public authority and citizens."

She smile when i finish the definitions.

"You got some wits, you're brilliant." She said her smile growing wider.

"I hope you keep it up " she said before facing the class and started her teaching.

She was explaining when the class door opened

"Here they comes." A girl muttered behind me,from the tone of her voice i could perceive jealousy.

Two girls dressed in mufti stepped in,one is dressed in a long sleeve baggie white top with black leather pant,her hair which was braided was style in ponytail while the other one was dressed in black baggie long sleeves top and black baggie pant. Her was plaited in two corn rows,a very beautiful and expensive necklace with love pendant was round their necks. They scream of wealth with their dressings.

"Miss Akinsola,why are you just coming?" Mrs chuks inquired her gaze on them,the one in black roll her eyes saying nothing,

"We are sorry Mrs chuks,it won't happen again." The one in white apologized.

"Can we go?" The one in black asked coldly.

"Yes." Mrs chuks replied signal them to go.

When they turn,i get their full looks,they look identical but could be differentiate by their skin color.

The one in white is fair while the one in black is brown skin.

I couldn't take my eyes off them especially the brown skinned.

"Mr Kareem concentrate." Mrs chuks said,i blushed embarrassed. With my head pin on my note, a familiar pairs of sneakers stood in front of me.

"The black heels sneakers." I thought trying to recall where have seen it.

"The parking lot." I remembered looking up, only to see the twins standing in front of me, my palm became sweaty.

"You're seating on my seat."the brown skinned said coldly staring at me, i gulp staring at her grey eyes.,i could feel eyes on us,the teaching wasn't going on anymore.

"Newbie?" The fair skinned inquired,i nodded not finding my voice.

"I will .........." The fair skinned was about to say but was cut off by her sister.

"it's my seat,i will seat at the back."she says to her sister then turn to me with her beautiful grey eyes gazing at me coldly.

"You can seat on it for today not forever." She said walking to the back.

The class stared at her amusely as she sat at the back.

"Can you pls borrow me your note?" Her twin sister said bringing out a notepad.

"Yes " i said giving her

"Thanks." She appreciated. I turn to to take a glance of her,she had headphone on with her eyes close.

"I don't know what i feel while staring at her cause it's unexplainable.

LUNCH TIME

"To be continue in the next class.'" Mr yemi the literature teacher said as the siren rings, he packed his books and laptop, The class shouted as he step out.

"Immediately he stepped out, the Kathy girl rush towards me.

"She was about to say something when she was push away by a girl with long braided hair.

"Hi, I'm dorcas."

"I'm the school cheerleader,and also the queen of the school." She introduced, Kathy rolled her eyes.

"Is that why you pushed me away." Kathy said looking offended.

"Wasn't it worth it." Dorcas replied.

"You're worse than a bitch😔." Kathy said glaring at her,i zoomed out my eyes darting around the class hoping to see the twin. They left after mathematics class which was the second period.

"Are you looking for someone?" A boy behind me asked

"No." I replied.

"You sure." He asked, i nodded staring at him, he is a lanky boy with fair skin beside him was another boy in glasses

"I'm peter, the class rep and this is my friend Marcus the school nerd. The boy introduced.

"wearing glasses doesn't make me nerd " the other boy beside him said rolling his eyes.

" Yea,but yours is different."

"How?"

"Your dressing scream of nerd even though you're in uniform."

"Is that true?" He asked staring at me,i gazed at him from head to toe, honestly he does look like a nerd.

I was about to respond when his tommy grumbled. He blush embarrassed.

"Gosh,my worms need to be feed."he said embarrassed.

"That's after we tour round the school."

"Wait, what?"

"That's the principal 's instruction,you can go without me." Peter said staring at me,

"Ooh,." He muttered understanding.

"You know i can't eat without you."

"Not like we are stuck together."

" But we're friends,we do things together."Marcus whined.

"not like we eat together at home."peter rolled his eyes while i watch them silently.

CAFETERIA

AMARACHI

"I heard there is new cute handsome newbie in Art." Tope said,i stared at her and her friends

"Really,how cute is he,like vee." Friday asked.

"I don't know,you will like to see him yourself." Tope replied.

Just then a fair skinned cute looking guy stepped into the cafeteria with Peter and Marcus.

"That's him." Tope whispered to her friends as they walk towards the table beside me.

"His's cute." Friday said already blushing,i roll my eyes. Everyone was staring at him.

"Hi handsome." Friday waved as he pass their table,he ignore her,she blush embarrassed.

As he sat down every girls were gawking at him. Tope approach him,

"Hi can I seat with you?" She inquired smiling foolishly

"Yes."peter replied before he could say anything. He gazed at peter with questioning look,peter shrugged eating the food Marcus ordered for them.

I watch him as he ignore tope who was trying to get his attention.

Suddenly,the cafeteria became quiet,i stared at entrance of the cafe to see the twins walking in,i stare at them jealously, not jealousy of what they are but who they are.

i wish i was their friend, everyone wish that even the juniors wish they were their school mother especially Teniola the fair twin.

As for me i prefer Temmy, Temmy can be cold but she has a golden heart not everyone know this cause of her coldness. Whenever i remembered what she did for me,i became more determined to be close to her which has turned to obsession.

They were going to their table when a girl bumped into them making the food she ordered poured on Temmy, immediately the girl knee shivering.

The cafeteria became quiet like a grave watching them.

"Are you blind?" Teniola yelled at the girl, Temmy stare at the trembling girl

"I'm sorry,it was a mistake." The girl apologized with wobbling voice.

Teniola was about to say something when Temmy stopped her.

" everyone is bound to mistake,next time watch where you're going." She said amusing everybody. A smile tug into my lips.

The likeness for her grew more."

JAMAL.

"Wow, that's new" peter said as we watch what happened.

"And it turn out,my crush is not heartless." Marcus said,peter rolled his eyes "neither was mine."

I watch them as they walk out of the cafeteria after what happened.

"Who are they?" I asked them anxiously,they stare at each looking at me

"I forgot you're new."peter said

"They are the Akinsola' s twins, the twins of famous Dr Akinsola williams and Mrs Beatrice Akinsola williams.

Their parent is one of the richest people in Nigeria.." Marcus explained.

"The brown skinned is Temmy the coldest while the fair one is Tenny the jovial one." Peter added.

" Has she ever smile?" I asked.

"Temmy?" Marcus inquired,i nodded.

",have never seen her smile not even a smirk, some who knew her when she was a kid said she was once a bright kid with beautiful smile,what happened that make her cold is still unknown."

"That was why she was rumoured to be gay "

"Is she?"

"No idea."

"I wish to be the first to make her smile." Marcus said dreamily

"Dream on boy " peter rolled his eyes.

"It may be a dream to you,you will be shocked when it happened."

" I dey wait."

"She was once a bright kid,what happened to her that make her cold?" I thought staring at the entrance of cafeteria
