Just Another Chapter

SYNOPSIS:

Peach tried her best to get out of the crowd who keep on shouting and cheering for their best team to win the friendly match.

These students! Can they stop shouting and just watch the game? Those basketball players are heating the cover court of their school with their hotbeds while playing.

It was all over the news in their hometown that there will be a bet and the opponent is from the other town.

She doesn't have any interest in the players or the bet. She just needs to get some ideas for her next story. Peach is a writer wannabe.

She has this page where she was anonymously posting her stories.

But lately, she noticed that her readers keep on bugging her to make some scenes sweeter.

How can she possibly do that when she doesn't believe in romance?

Why don't they add some scene while reading my stories with their sweet encounter with whoever it is?

Writing a sweet scene in her story will never be an easy job for her.

"Spotted!" She can't stop smiling when she finally saw her friends in the middle of the crowd. Luckily, her friend Sue look in her direction.

She saw how Sue's eyes rolled when she saw the notebook in her hand.

"You bring that customize notebook again." Sue grimace when Peach finally settled down on her seat.

She just ignored her remarks and she focus on finding someone who will be a perfect new character in her story.

"I was planning on joining a writing contest with an underrated platform." She loudly informs her friends about the upcoming writing contest.

"Goodluck on that Peachie baby! You can do it! Just look at this crowded people and find the right characters for your new novel. And don't forget to feed us some free food, okay?" Peach is trying to analyze if Tobias is being sarcastic or not.

What Peach know is she already spotted the perfect protagonist in her new story.

"Duh! Shut up guys! The game is about to start let's focus on the next quarter-- Go Baby Jasper!" Peach wince when Sue joined the the people who keeps on shouting a different names.

She just shook her head as she start to focus on the two well known men in their school. The star of their basketball team, Clyde and the other player Justine.

These two men is well known for being friends even though they keep on meeting in the court as rivals.

"Justine should move here so he could team up with Clyde. They are friends but they keep on bumping inside the court as a rivals. Tss... in the end, they're still friends." Maybe that's what people called sportsmanship.

Because of that thought, she finally have a plot in her new story. She secretly smile when her hand started moving to write a new story.

Peach doesn't mind the noisy crowd as she continue writing her next story.

The noise that the students keep on making almost make Sevastian deaf.

They've won the bet. A smile suddenly crept in his lips when he saw Jasper's face.

"Huh! What a weaklings. I knew it, i have this feeling that we're going to won this bet."

Jasper proudly say while smuggling looking at their opponents.

Sevastian just shook his head. "Stop being an aircon coz." In the corner of his eyes, he saw his bestfriend walking towards them.

"Bro, why not ask Justine to transfer here at our school? Besides the three of you are buddies." Jasper said. Clyde shook his head as an answer.

"He doesn't like our shool." With Clyde's answer, Sevastian secretly smirk.

Justine can't leave his school because of someone.

He supported his friends forlorn love story. Within the three of them, Jasper is the one who have a lot of women in his plate. Girls keep on chasing him while he keep on chasing one girl.

"How about you? How was your mission search for the one?" Sevastian let out a loud sigh. That's also one of the reason why he is here.

"I haven't found her. I was almost looking for a woman here. I didn't really watch your game." He honestly told his friends.

Jasper just stared at him and Clyde tapped his shoulder. "That's kinda bad news. Sorry coz but I don't have any girl to introduce to you. You're too picky you know." Clyde slowly said.

"Damn! Man, You hurt my feelings. I thought you are here to watch and support your handsome cousin. Who would have thought that you're here just to look for the girl that will be your model." Jasper act like his in pain while his hand is in his chest.

"My deadline is almost over but still, I haven't found someone to be my model. I can't dissapoint her, you know." Sevastian was talking about Sabrina.

He can't imagine Sabrina's dissapointed face while looking at him. He can't bare to see that.

Sabrina is his bestfriend. No one knows that he likes her. That is why he is doing everything to make Sabrina's request possible.

But here he is. He cant find the right model for his portrait. Everything is already in line. He just have to find the right model.

"Damn! I wish you could be like this to your other friends. But sadly, Sabrina is your only friend who can make you do things for her." Jasper clear his throat.

He just shrug before leaving the court. He have things to do and he better finish it than to listen to Jasper's bubbly voice.

Peach decided to look for a nice spot so she can use it as the settings in her new story. She choose the mini Forest in there school.

She currently can't see any student in the forest since there is another game for the athletes.

"For sure Sue is still busy shouting and cheering for her crushes." Of course she's with Tobias. He lost in there bet game and the punishment is for him to follow her for almost a week.

Peach suddenly stand up when she remember her favorite food. She immediately run as fast as she can so she can reach the school cafeteria.

This is my chance to buy a lot of takoyaki since the students are busy gawking over athletes.

Sevastian is just standing meters away from the girl who just keep on starring at nothing.

When he left his friends he found himself walking here in the school mini forest. And just right on time when she the only woman here in this place starring at nothing.

Sevastian felt a tingling sensation as she stared at the girl. She's a mess with her appearance but it's the only girl who caught his attention. Finally!

Sevastian was about to walks towards her when the girl suddenly stand up and run.

"Damn! I can't let her get away from me." I still need to talk to her. There is no way I'm gonna keep on chasing her.

He gotta follow her before he lost her track. Sevastian was about to follow the same path as the girl when a book caught his attention.

he immediately picked it up and opened it. a note popped up to him on its first page.

This is Peach the human (not the fruit) If you ever found this please don't you ever dare to flip on the second page. Don't be a gossip girl and just contact me on the number that's provided below.

So Peach is her name. What an interesting name. I hate that fruit. He hates the origin of that fruit. It is because of seizure of the territory of the philippines.

And because Peach used the word 'Gossip girl', he didn't think twice when he flip the next page.

Sevastian's eyes almost pop out of his eye socket whe he read the notes.

He immediately read the other pages until he reach the last page.

Sevastian wants to puke when he read the new story of Peach. Minutes later when He decided to call Peach with her provided number.

Peach is smiling ear to eat while walking towards the parking lot. She's happy because she have the privilege to ate a lot of her favorite school takoyaki.

"What's up guys!" She happily pop in her friends direction.

"Oh? Why do you look so happy?" Sue ask when she sense that her grumpy friend is on the mood. She exhaled in Sue's face. Sue cough a few times while swaying her hands in her face.

Peach just laughed. She knows that Sue hates seafood. "Iw! You dirty little girl!"

Peach just keep on laughing. She was about to do the same thing to Tobias whe a sudden call caught her attention.

As far as she remember, she announced that she won't answer any calls.

It was an unknown number and it's her private number. Only her friends know this number.

Realization hits Peach hard as her eyes wide open. "Shit! My notebook!"

She just realized that her notebook is missing. Shit! She's in deep trouble.

Peach immediately answer the unknown call. "Yes, hello?" She nervously answered.

"This is Sevastian and I have your notebook-like-book. Meet me at the club rooftop if you want to get this notebook." She doesn't like the rude tone of this guy but she gotta meet him if she want her secret to stay as secret.

Who ever you are just make sure that you didn't read the next page! I'll surely curse you till death.

Peach is almost out if breath when she reach the rooftop. She's on the edge of throwing hurtful words. I hope you won't read it, please nooo.

He found a mascular man standing in the middle of the rooftop. He looks like a model just by standing there. Doing nothing.

Peach tried to calm her throbbing heart as she approached the man.

Peach clear her throat before finally approaching the man. When he heard her he immediately turned to her.

He look so familiar. She needs to think slightly then she can name this guy. But before she can even think about that man's name, he spoke with his icey voice.

""Prince Caspian Sevastian but I don't want to be called by my first and second name. Just call me Sevastian." He emotionless introduced himself that makes Peach wince.

"Give me back my notebook." She may sound so rude but she doesn't want to associate herself with someone who have the name of a Prince. It's bad.

"Why so rude?" Amusements is now dancing in the man's eye that makes her more frustrated.

"That's all I came here for so please give it back." Peach held out her palm to get what she needed.

"Nope. I'm just gonna give this to you if you will agree to the payment that I want. You know, you need to pay me for finding your precious notebook."

Peach's face wrinkled even more. All she knows is she need to get her notebook. My life depends on it.

"I don't want to. Give me back my notebook." She was looking at her notebook intently.

She was about to run out of patience with this man. When she saw that Prince Caspian was not holding her notebook tightly, she immediately pulled it out of her grasp and quickly ran to the exit.

Yes! A wide grin flashed on her face but it was immediately replaced by shock when Prince Caspian spoke.

"Clyde and justine being the main Characters in your dirty story is not good you know." She look back at him with her wide eyes.

Prince Caspian have a mocking smirk on his face. He hit a spot! He read my notebook.

"How dare you?!" She shout with her shock voice. "It is clearly written on the first page that you will not open the next page but you did! You gossip man!" She accuses the man for opening her notebook.

Prince Caspian shake his head as he start walking towards her. "Nah-ah, I'm not a gossip girl but a gossip boy. It was well written in your notebook that you are referring to a girl, not a boy so yeah, I read it till I can't stand it anymore." Her jaw almost drop on the floor while looking at this unbelievable man.

My gosh! She's on the venge of punching this Prince! A flush crept into her face because of frustration. "And now I know who you really are Peach."

Prince Caspian smile like a devil.

"What do you want?" She frustratingly said. Prince Caspian simply look at her.

"Be my model." He's full of seriousness but Peach just laughed. This man is crazy. Peach shook her head as she decided to leave the rooftop.

Who wouldn't laugh because of what he said? Be my model? She's not the type of woman who would fit for a modeling career. Even if she tried to join a beauty contest, they will just laughed at her.

But deep inside, Peach keep on wishing for her secret to be stay as secret.

Peach almost fly with her movement while she still can hear the horn of a car. It keeps on bugging her non stop as she tie her hair and walk out of her house.

The car horn is a signal that the only Prince that she cannot hate is already in the Philippines.

She frustratedly shut her door and hurriedly open the passenger door. "Hey! Why so slow? We keep on waiting here for almost one hour." Sue frustratedly said while chilling at the backseat.

Peach look at the man who owns the car emotionless. Lucifer Alexandrou. A greek and also a lunatic.

"Baby babe why are you looking like that? Aren't you happy that I'm finally back and now you can saw my handsome face 24/7?" Peach just pout while looking at Lucifer's handsome face.

"There is a freaking bug who knows my secret." It's a simple answer but she knew that they already know what secret is she referring for.

"Aw, Serves you right bish! You always bring it out of your house instead of putting it in your safety box." Sue smirk at her.

It looks like the happiness that takoyaki brought is just a free taste. Now she can taste bitterness because of her stupidness.

"Maria Suelisia stop pestering me!" She irritatedly replied. Sue gasped dramatically that make her shook her head.

Sue hates it when someone called her by her fullname. She hates it.

"Girl, are you looking for trouble?" Sue ask her while raising her brow. Peach decided to ignore her. She already have a problem that needed to be solve.

"Why not ask him to shut up?" She look at Lucifer and smile tightly before shaking her head. "Or maybe I can threaten him?" Lucifer suggested.

She did some research. That man is not an ordinary man.

"It's Prince Caspian 'the great'." She quotes the word 'the great' to emphasize who is that freaking man.

"Huh? What does he need in you? Eh that man is one of the hotties in our school." She wince before looking at Tobias.

"Are you trying to tell me that I'm ugly and there is no reason for that man to look for me?" She wince again.

Tobias just smile before shaking his head. "I'm not trying to say anything." Peach is ready for a debate when the car stop meters away from their school gate.

This is her every day routine whenever she's with her friends.

Peach doesn't like the attention that the other student keep on giving them that's why she preferred to walk than to be with them whenever there going inside the school.

Peach is in the middle of writing a new chapter for her next story when the noises that came from her classmates suddenly became louder.

"Hi Peach!" A familiar lively voice greeted her that makes her eyes wide open.

Prince Caspian is with Clyde. The main character in her new story!

"Hi Peach. My name is Clyde. I know your name because Caspian keep on talking about you since yesterday. That's why I came here with him because he said that he need to talk to you." Clyde politely said.

She smile uncertainly while she secretly tried to hide her notebook. But Caspian the Jerk suddenly spoke that made her blood boil.

"Oh Peach, what are you writing? Are you doing something?" Prince Caspian acted like his curious while mockingly looking at Peach.

"Nothing. This is just one of my notes." Peach smile at the two men in front of her.

"Are we going to talk here about our unfinished business or are gonna come with me outside this classroom so there will be just the two of us?" Peach shoulder fell when she stand up from sitting in her chair.

It's not like she can do anything about it. Prince Caspian knew her secret and she wanted it to stay a secret.

Before following Prince Caspian, she secretly hide her notebook. When they reached the end of the hallway Peach immediately look at Prince Caspian with her annoyed face.

"So, Are you going to consider my offer or do you want Clyde to know your secret? I'm sure he'll get mad at you because he doesn't swing that way."

Peach thought that Prince Caspian will let her go but I guess she's wrong. This man is persistent and he will do anything to make her say yes. In the end, she said yes. It not like she can do anything about in.

"Fine. I'll accept your offer." She tried her best to make her voice sound sure but she's really not.

"Great!" Prince Caspian smile at her widely. "Starting tomorrow go inside the school's mini garden. You'll found me their and that place will be our meeting place. All you have to do is to be my model. I will take care of your clothes."

She doesn't know what Prince Caspian trying to do but she doesn't care anymore as long as her secret is safe.

Sevastian hand is inside his pocket while waiting for Sabrina to go out of her house. He immediately came straight in her house when Peach accepted his condition.

But to think about it he doesn't like Peach story about her bestfriend.

"Sev!" Sabrina's cheerful voice caught her attend. Sabrina excitedly wave her hand at Sevastian.

"Hi! I finally found someone who will model your gown." Sevastian saw how Sabrina's eyes sparkle with excitement.

"Thank you so much Sev! I was actually being stressed out when I found out who will be our other competitor." Sabrina worried face make him feel uneasy.

"Do I know whose that certain person?" He ask slowly.

"Yup. It was Van who will Paint for Grace." That's why she look so worried. Van is his worst enemy when it comes in paintings. He's the only one who keep on fighting him.

He assuredly smile at the woman. "You have nothing to worry about okay?" He make sure that he gave enough assurance to Sabrina so she will stop worrying herself.

Sabrina excitedly hug him that made his heartbeat started to act abnormal.

"Thank you Sev! You are really my knight in shining armor."

Damn! Sabrina's impact in him is too powerful. "No problem. You know I will do anything just for you."

Peach try her best to smile while putting a cup of coffee in front of a student whose reading a book silently. She have a lot to do since she's the president of their club. And today is a school fest!

The school library is almost full because of the students who choose to spend their entire school fest time quietly. It's look like she have to get some new tables and chairs.

She scan the whole library hoping that she'll see Van, their club vice president. When Peach spotted Van, she immediately ask for his help

"Hey Van can you help me to get some chairs and tables? It's look like we have to open another spot for them to fit in."

Van just smile at Peach. Such a nice person. Peach knew that she can always count on Van. This man is always ready for her whenever she needs any help.

"Did you eat your lunch?" Van ask Peach while walking. A smile suddenly crept in Peach lips. "Do you know that It's a trendy question?" Van look at her questioning.

"A simple question but a lot of women fell easily because of that." Peach laugh when she remember the story that she had written. Her main character is kinda fragile when it comes to a curtain boy. And she fell in love with that simple question.

Van smile at her. If Peach is like the other girls in their school, she would have fallen for this man. But she's Peach. A girl who doesn't fall so easily l.

"Then I'll ask you that question everyday so you'll fall for me." Van cheeky said.

Peach will take that as a joke. Wait... is that really a joke?

She just shrug and laugh.

The leaves are fallin as they walked side by side. "This scenario is one of the scenarios I saw in a television. A guy walking with the girl the he likes and suddenly he hold her hand." Van look at her while smiling. Peach just shook her head.

Van suddenly held her hand. In this kind of situation she should stay away from him but since she like that there is an idea building up inside her head. She decided to let it go.

They almost reach their destination when a rude man suddenly block their way.

"You never answered any of my calls because you're on a date?" Prince Caspian darkly said.

Peach frown at him. "Oh? What's your problem with that?"

She never like this man's temper. Even his aura, she never like it. It's too dark for her.

"Come with me." His ill-tempered manner always come and welcome her whenever they are together.

Even though she doesn't want to go with him, she have to. Because this man knows her secret and she wanted it to stay as a secret.

She apologizing smile at Van. "Sorry but can you do the deeds for our club? We have to do something really important eh." Good thanks that Van is kind. When Van give his answer to him she immediately follow Prince Caspian.

"What's your problem? Can't you see that we are having a school festival and my club needs me right now." She grimace but it looks like Prince Caspian is a deaf man and he didn't pay attention to what she said until they reached the mini garden.

A beautiful ballgown welcome her eyes when they reach their destination. Her anger dissapeared as she stare at this yellow gown.

"Is this what I'm going to wear?" She cant help but to ask Prince Caspian while roaming her eyes and her hand in the gown.

"Yes. That's why don't do anything and just focus on me. We can't lose in this competition you know." Peach can feel that this man is trying to achieve something. Well, she gotta help him.

"My world doesn't just revolve around you." She silently said.

"I know. But I have you as a hostage." Yeah, his right. To stop herself from getting irritated, she focus her gaze on this beautiful gown. It has the mood of a fairy tale.

"Because you are my partner, We look like a characters in beauty and the beast." Peach just said it out of nowhere and that makes Prince Caspian stop from arranging his paint brush.

"Let's make a rules." Peach nodded quietly to ease the tension that her remarks made.

"First, you must not fell in love with me." Prince Caspian is damn serious while saying those words. She bitterly laughed. As if! She will never fall for someone who have a Prince's name.

"That will never happen. I just happened to be out of my mind when I said thos words."

"Yeah yeah, but still that will be my number one rule how about you?" Prince Caspian ask.

Peach become serious. "Rule number two, let's mind our own lives." Prince Caspian noded his head.

"That's all. But let us not ruined our schedules. We have our own priorities too." She frown while thinking that this past few days she became distance with her friends. Because she always need to be with this Prince.

Come to think of it, there's one thing she needed to protect while being with him. Her heart. She should never let her guard down or else she will just hurt herself.

"You know that I can sense that you're beautiful." Peach shockingly look at Prince Caspian.

She can't believe what she just heard. But to think of it he's right. She knew that she's beautiful.

She just can't believed that Prince Caspian find her pretty even with her disguise.

Peach suddenly get alerted when Prince Caspian take a step forward till they're inches away from each other.

"You're beautiful." Sevatian doesn't know why but somehow there is something that makes him take of Peach glasess. This girl have a cute chubby cheeks which compliment her pretty face.

Peach frown at him. "I know that I'm pretty." Sevastian just smirk. Luckily this girl is not like other women who down themselves whenever someone compliments them.

"That's good. All we need to change is your clothe style."

That's all he need to do then everything will be perfect.

This is what Peach hate the most. When somebody tries to change her way of style. But she let Prince Caspian grab her glasses which she never allowed anyone to do.

Nope. Not gonna sway that way. She's only doing this because this man knew her secret. That's all.

And also she will be a model. It's just a normal thing to do.

That is what Peach keep on thinking. Never sway that way. Never. Peach you will only hurt yourself okay? So stop.

She continue to convince herself while walking side by side with Prince Caspian.
