Chapter 1 fantasies

Ariadna Thompson

Happy endings are considered a privilege of fairy tales, where princesses are rescued by brave princes, taking them away from misery and into castles adorned with happiness. An illusion distant from reality.

However, as I put the finishing touches on the baker decorating my wedding cake, I feel like my life is about to transform into a dreamy tale. The delicate pink hue of the frosting makes me sigh, giving an air of magic to this moment. I feel very happy; The hour of my fantasy is about to begin.

"It's beautiful, isn't it, Evangeline?" I ask my younger sister. The poor little girl, only nineteen years old, has already brought my little niece Susan into the world, the light of my life. They are my reasons for dreaming of a better future.

"Yes, it's beautiful, but it's going to cost you an arm and a leg, Ariadna. Can you imagine what would happen if Maria found out how much you'd spent on this cake?"

I look at my sister and gently stroke the head of the little girl who sleeps in her arms.

"You don't have to know. That witch and Stephanie just want us to leave their house, and that will happen soon."

"Oh, Ariadna, I hope Christian is a good husband and that he really helps you. You're a wonderful woman, you work too hard, like you need to prove something. Sometimes I feel like he blows you up."

I sigh at my sister's words. Christian isn't just my boss; It's a hope in my life. I work as an administrator in his prestigious restaurant, where he, a renowned chef, is the soul of the place. I stay in the kitchen for up to fourteen hours, not only out of necessity, but also to make sure my sister is well taken care of, and my niece has a future. My fiancé helps me by giving me that job, besides, I am happy because I am always by his side.

"Christian will be a good husband," I tell Evangeline, though she's not entirely convinced. Sometimes he has a bad temper, but we've been together since I was your age. Almost five years have passed, and I haven't even given myself to it.

I promised myself that I would save my virginity for my wedding day. Despite Christian's pleas, his fiery kisses and tickles that made me feel alive, I haven't crossed that line. I look at the clock, and a shiver runs through my being as I realize the time. I want to get there earlier and I'm really looking forward to seeing it. It's not that I want to bother him, I just miss him too much.

"Evangeline, I need to go to work. Christian must be waiting for me, they're almost opening the restaurant," I say as I hand her a few dollars for the taxi. "Go home, buy milk and diapers for Susan first. And don't let Mary beat you, okay? "

Evangeline rolls her eyes and hugs little Susan.

"I don't want to go back to that damn house. Dad is drunk all the time, and Maria is a nightmare. She always wants to hurt me. Ariadna, please take the day and come back with me. I beg you."

Evangeline's eyes fill with tears, and my heart breaks into a thousand pieces.

"Be patient, Evangeline, please. In a few days we will go to Christian's house. I have already spoken with him; There is enough room for all three. I promise you that we will do everything we can to be okay. When is Susan's appointment?"

"Tomorrow morning. I already have the results of her exams. Ariadna, I feel bad about you. You don't have to work so hard to give us money; It's my fault. I'll find a kinder garden for Susan and a job."

Evangeline's voice sounds breathy. Even though she made a mistake on a night of drinking, I won't condemn her for being alone with her little girl, especially now that she's a little sick.

"Listen to me, Evangeline, that's not going to happen. Worry about our little girl first, okay? The rest we will see. "Evangeline took the taxi, and I walked to the restaurant, I was excited to see Christian."

When I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed that the fence was down. I look at my watch, I guess the workers haven't arrived yet. I open the front door silently and begin to walk around the dark room. It seems like there's no one, which I find odd, since Christian is always the first to arrive. He was passionate about work and getting money; I admired him deeply and, above all, I loved him for being the man he was. How fortunate to be his fiancée!

"Chris? Honey, are you there yet?" I ask into the air, walking slowly. I noticed that the door of his office was ajar, and a light was coming out of it, I felt a pang of uneasiness. I don't make noise; My sixth sense was activated, and I knew immediately that something was happening. My heart is pounding, and my hands are sweating.

"Chris?" I, call again. Nervous...

Strange sounds emerge from the administration office: thunderous moans and taps, like skin bumps. A female voice, which I already know, is intertwined with the sounds. My chest flutters, and I take a breath gently, one... two... three... I have suffered from asthma since I was a child, and any emotion throws my breathing out of control.

As I get closer, the image that is shaped before my eyes destroys the fairy tale that I harbored in my heart. My dear fiancé, my Christian, is under the turned body of my beautiful sister Stephanie. She jumps on him frantically, while her mouth, that mouth that the day before had devoured me with kisses, greedily sucks my sister's breasts.

My world is crumbling under my feet. All my dreams vanish before my eyes, and tears begin to fall uncontrollably. The scene is too devastating; I can't even mumble a word. He doesn't notice my presence, but my sister's dog does.

That turns her on even more; she increases her movements, and his moans are transformed into screams of ecstasy. Betrayal hits me with such force that I am short of breath. The image I had idealized is destroyed in an instant, and the love he thought unbreakably turns to ashes.

"Oh, Stephanie! You're hot, you're passionate..." Christian whispers between gasps, while she looks at me with a smile of triumph on her lips.

"Tell me, do you like it? Are you going to leave my sister's underdog for me? Damn wretch. "She told me everything as she watched me, and I, like a fool, continue to stand in the doorway, paralyzed by betrayal.

"No, not that, she will be my wife." In addition, it does everything for me and for me. But you'll still be my lover." Christian kisses her lustfully, clutching her bare skin to his chest. That image had just torn my soul apart.

"Damned! A thousand times damned," I shouted between sobs and ran away. I hear a knock behind me; And Christian is running naked, he wants to get me.

But I am dying of pain, so much so that I cannot take more than three steps, stumbling to fall face first at his feet. The wretch looks at me without helping me to get up.

"Listen to me, it's not what it seems. Your sister seduced me, Estefanía is a very easy woman, and I am a man, my love."

"Damn, I can only tell you that you are a wretch. How could you cheat on me with my own sister? How?" The pain became a fist in my stomach, a pain that hugged me tightly with force, condemning me to die of love.

"No, Ariadna, listen to me, princess. We can talk about it, forget this, and get married. You'll come to my house."

"I heard you, you. I heard you. You have no idea how much pain you caused me, Christian. It hurts me so much, it hurts. "And despite the pain I was feeling at that moment, I wouldn't give him the pleasure of seeing me cry.

"It's just that, understand me, my love, you never gave me that proof of love that I asked so much of you. I slap him hard in the face and laugh too ironically.

"Ha! So, is it my fault? Yes? Is it my fault? Damn shameless."

Feeling my heart break into a thousand pieces, and, with one last look full of tears, I walked away from him, from his betrayal, from my current reality.

My life was a complete farce, now, not only was I without a fiancé, but also without a job, I run out of the restaurant, take off my engagement ring and throw it to hell, I start walking aimlessly, avoiding crying over Christian's betrayal.

I don't know how long I've been walking the sidewalks, I can only feel how my sore feet force me to enter a place to take a break, to my surprise, it's a bar.

I sit alone at the bar and start ordering beers, without worrying about the price, for anything. I only drink to forget his memory. A couple of hours later, feeling slight dizziness in my head, I got up from the bar and wanted to pay the bill.

"What... "What do I have to pay you?" I ask the waiter while I look for a couple of bills in my pocket.

"It's 400," he replies, handing me a bill.

"What? What do you mean 400? I look everywhere. You must be wrong."

"No, I'm not," the man says seriously. I sat down again on the stool and the little drunkenness I had vanished suddenly from the fright. Shit, how am I going to pay for this?

I searched my pockets for money to pay the bill, but there's nothing, not a single coin. I drink whole. Suddenly, an intoxicating perfume sneaks into my nostrils, causing me to lift my head. Then, my eyes met him.

I look at him nervously. Possibly he is the owner of the place and comes to claim what I have drunk. Shit!

Her eyes are clear, like the color of fire, her skin golden, and her hair perfectly combed, I feel my cheeks blush and I can't even whisper a word.

"I'll pay the bill," The mysterious man takes out a card and places it on the bar, the waiter simply arches his eyebrows and makes the payment. I look everywhere, and sure enough, he's talking to me.

Chapter 2 Bad News Everywhere

Ariadna Thompson

I stared into his eyes, as if he had somehow hypnotized me. He gets the card back and smiles at me.

owner

"That's it, problem solved. Fancy another drink? " He offers me, but until that moment I can't articulate a word.

"I... I think I've had enough for tonight." I zip my jacket up to my neck, forcing a smile. It's making me more and more nervous.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Mackenzie," he holds out his hand, and reflexively, I extend mine. Their skin is soft and cold, not an uncomfortable cold, but rather an unusual texture.

"Ariadna Thompson, my pleasure," I say, letting go of his hand. But now, Mr. Mackenzie, I must go. Tell me, how can I transfer the money from the account to you?"

Mr. Mackenzie examines me from top to bottom, as if he were scanning me. I feel a lump in my throat and look away.

"There's no way you're going to transfer the money to me," he says finally, his lips curling suggestively. "But you owe me debt."

I take a deep breath. Who the hell does he think? He's just looking forward to buy me.

"Well, then you must find another way, Mr. Mackenzie, for I do not intend to repay you any other way," I reply, firmly, though he smiles smugly at me.

"I know perfectly well how you can pay me, Miss Thompson," he looks at me again, his tone heavy with insinuation. He's a pervert. This is too uncomfortable. Damn, how can he be so handsome and at the same time... so repulsive?

"And how, Mr. Mackenzie? " I snap, already losing patience. He notices it, and just shrugs, as if it's all a game.

"You can do it with the most precious thing you have," he stretches out his hand and manages to brush the skin of my hand, I squeeze off abruptly and look at him with contempt.

"What's wrong with you, you?" I didn't ask him to pay my bill, you pig! I shouted at him, unable to contain myself. He opens his mouth, and laughs, surprised by my vocabulary, but he doesn't seem willing to give up.

"Don't worry, Miss Thompson, you don't have to pay me now... but" he pulls a card from his pocket, "I have a proposal for you."

His gaze runs over me again, and a shiver runs through my body.

"I could pay you much more than those 400..." he says with a sly smile "for a single night, it could be 1000."

Wretch! What kind of person do you think I am?

"What's wrong with you?" I scream, feeling helplessness bubbling inside me. "What if he doesn't let me go?"

"Take the card, it suits you." ¿2000, 3000? He continues to insist. I don't know why, but I end up taking the card and stuffing it into my bag. Maybe I just want to get those 400 back as soon as possible.

"I'll send you your 400. Thank you for paying the bill but remember I didn't ask for it." I grip my bag tightly, feeling the tension all over my body. I glanced at him out of the corner of my eye, preventing him from saying another word, and I left with determined steps. I don't dare to look back, for anything in the world.

Luckily, just at that moment a taxi passes by, and I don't hesitate to get in. I need to get away from that place as soon as possible. All of this has been so strange.

As I get home, I take the card out of my bag and start checking it. Matt Mackenzie, CEO of Mackenzie Associates Industries. A CEO behaving like this? I can't believe it. There's definitely something sick about him.

The strangest thing of all is that no matter how hard I try, I can't stop thinking about him. His face, so handsome, those intriguing eyes, the perfect body... and his voice, his damn voice. It all disarms me. I shake my head, trying to pluck out those absurd thoughts.

When I get home, I find total chaos. I close the door behind me, but no one seems to notice my presence.

"Bitch! You're a bitch! And that brat will be just like you," I hear Maria yell at my sister Evangeline. I feel a surge of rage churning my stomach. I walk towards them, and without thinking, I grab María by the hair.

"How dare you talk to my sister like that? Damn abuser, leave her alone! " I shouted furiously.

"Let go of me, you wretch! "Maria struggles with me, and in a matter of seconds we get tangled in a savage fight. Evangeline watches sadly as she hugs Susan, who cries inconsolably in her arms. Maria gives me a blow, and I return another with all my strength.

"What the hell is going on?" Estefanía shouts, intervening. She grabs me with the hair, and I try to free myself.

"Let go of me, bitch!" I yelled at him and hit her too. Everything becomes a confrontation of blows and screams, until Evangeline and Susan's desperate crying shakes me.

"No more, please! No more!" Evangeline cries, unable to calm Susan, whose high-pitched cry cuts the air. I stop at the sound of their voices, my body trembles with adrenaline, and I run to Evangeline.

"These witches can't keep messing with you, or my niece. We have to get out of this damn house," I say, taking her hand, trying to comfort her.

But Evangeline is desperate.

"And where are we going? We have no other options. Also, they called me from the hospital... Susan is not well."

Hearing Evangeline's words breaks my heart into a thousand pieces, but if Susan is only six months old, how is it not okay.

"We're going to do everything we can to make sure she's okay, okay, Evangeline? I need you strong," I whisper, trying to make my voice sound firmer than I feel inside.

Behind us, I hear my stepmother and Estefanía mocking, and although anger boils inside, I know that my sister is more important than those two.

"She's going to die if we don't have the surgery," Evangeline sobs, desperate.

"Let's wait and see what the pediatrician says tomorrow, yes?" I try to reassure her, but I know the words ring empty right now.

Maria approaches, her gaze is charged with a deep hatred. I can feel his revulsion going through me, as if it burns me inside.

"You have a week to get out of this house," she warns us coldly.

"What? Of course not. This is our home too," I reply, my voice breaking

"Ha!" Estefanía lets out a cold and mocking laugh. "Your house? Please, this house belongs to my mother and me. So, get out."

I approach her, looking at her like the trash she is, while snorting with contempt.

"I'm giving you my ex-fiancé, but I'm not going to give you, my house. Don't be deluded. We'll stay here, whether you like it or not," I spit the words in his face, fearlessly.

"We'll see that," growls Estefanía, as if she were a damn beast.

I take Evangeline by hand, and we head to the room we share. Anger consumes me. I want to kill them both, end all this once and for all, but this is not the time. Not now.

"Where were you, Ariadna? You smell like alcohol," Evangeline confronts me before I can explain myself.

"I only went out for a while, don't worry," I reply as I take off my shoes, trying to downplay it.

"Could you ask Christian if we can come live in his house sooner? Susan's treatment is complicated, and I don't think I can handle it here with these two." Her voice trembles with concern, and I feel a twinge in my chest.

I look at her, and I feel my heart freeze. How do I explain what happened?

"My love... There's something I have to tell you. I'm no longer engaged to Christian... I don't even have a job."

"What?" Evangeline pales, her face reflecting the confusion.

"I found him wallowing with Stephanie in his office," my voice cracked, the words hurt more than I expected, and the tears, which I've been holding back, fell uncontrollably. "He betrayed me."

"Sons of bitches! Evangeline gets out of bed, utterly furious. Now I do kill her. Who does that faded redhead think she is? Miserable!"

"Oh, damn it!" I shouted at her, trying to stay calm. "Yes, Evangeline. I'm going to figure it out. I always solve it, okay?"

Evangeline nods, but her eyes show me what she doesn't mean: her heart is in pieces. He drops into bed and starts crying. All night long, her sobs fill the room. My poor sister and my niece... There's not much I can do for them right now, and that helplessness eats away at me.

When dawn breaks, we quickly get ready to take Susan to the pediatrician. We manage to get out of the house without those two witches noticing.

At the clinic, the pediatrician reviews Susan's exams. Every word that comes out of his mouth is like a dagger that sticks deep into my chest.

"Susan's kidneys aren't working well," the doctor confirms, as Evangeline and I listen in silence, our hearts on edge. "She will need surgery."

"Doctor, how much can surgery cost?" I ask her, trying not to sound desperate, although worry burns me inside.

"About $1,500 to $2,000." It was expensive.

I feel the ground beneath my feet fade away.

Evangeline breaks down in tears, we were both aware that if we put 100 between the two of us, it was a lot of money. We left that office with our hearts in our hands, and I wanted to die, I would give anything to be in my niece's place, it was not fair that I had to suffer so much trauma so little.

The next few days were worse, we tried to get the money, but it became a damn impossible task, just like living together at my father's house, I wanted to cry, every day at all hours I wanted to cry, at what point did life become this?

Chapter 3 Enigmatic People

Jordano Mackenzie

I wiggle my glass from side to side, the hangover rumbling through my head. When he drank, he was not the same as always; I became an inveterate maniac, capable of committing crazy things like offering money to unknown women for sex. But the week before, it hadn't worked.

"Jordano, it's okay, the trick of paying the bill shouldn't always work," Erick tells me, holding back a mocking smile.

"We both know that it wasn't right, and that she's beautiful. Why did she reject me? Her count was four hundred, not thirty or forty. Four hundred! Incredible. "

"You don't always achieve that success. By the way, where did that little woman come from? She was beautiful! If I had known I wasn't going to accept you, I would have thrown myself bluntly," Erick drinks from his glass, smiling sarcastically.

"Of course not. You're committed, you can't do those things. I, on the other hand, am single. I will never marry; I am not going to give up the pleasure that a woman represents just because of an engagement. That's madness" I drink the rest of my glass in one sip.

"Are you calling me crazy?"

"No, or take it as you like," I reply, maintaining my haughtiness, while the image of that brunette with brown eyes and a beautiful body did not leave my mind. "Maybe I refused to accept his rejection, but what did it matter? There were many women interested in money and in this body, all with the same goal."

I turn my large armchair and take in the views from my window. Erick approaches with the bottle and pours me another drink. I realize that I am practically the owner of the city: I have a dozen companies, money to spare, size and presence. Any woman would fall at my feet; sincere love did not interest me.

"Cheers!" He slapped his glass against mine.

"Cheers, friend! For next weekend."

We drank again. Erick left my office, and an hour later, I was back to focusing on my computer, going through different machine designs for next month's business. Everything was perfect, but she, damn it! Ariadna Thompson continued to occupy my mind. I had never been rejected by a woman before. More than a week had passed, and his memory lingered, even though he had barely exchanged a couple of words with her. But that would be cured with another.

And as if I were invoking the cure, the door of my office rang. He recognized those touches, so I just gave the order for him to come in. At that moment, long and contoured legs appear in my office, followed by a sculptural body, wavy blonde hair down to the waist, prominent breasts and red lips that incite passion.

"Alexandra! Honey, what brings you here?" I got up from my chair, biting my lips. The question was always superfluous; The millionaire shareholder not only came in a business plan, but she was also here with a purpose.

"My dear Jordano," she surrounds me, activating all my senses. Her body emanated a delicious aroma. She approaches me and gives me a kiss on the cheek that brushes the corner of my mouth. Damn inciter! "I have bought the conditions for our next contract."

"Sit down, my dear, please," I point to the chair in front of the desk. She put her bag aside and crossed her legs, those magnificent legs that made me lose control.

Alexandra sighs and pulls her hair to the side, leaving me within reach of her beautiful cleavage and her raised breasts.

"I've missed you, Jordano, and before I sign, I want a drink and let's talk about something... "Rich," she declared, and her seductive voice made my skin crawl. I poured her a glass and handed it to her. She begins to drink, running her tongue over the edge, and I feel my crotch burn. My bundle rises in her presence, and she already knows that everything is ready.

She holds out her hand to me, and like a fool, I take it. I approach her, and Alexandra opens her mouth and purrs.

"Hum, that's delicious," she whispers, and her gaze is provocative. Just as she is about to approach, a knock on my office door interrupts the moment, and my erection fades away.

"Who is it?" I shouted, irritated.

"Sir, I'm Chloe. There's a woman here who is looking for you insistently, but... she does not have an appointment."

I tuck the bulge into my pants and smile at my beautiful partner.

"Forgive me, honey, but there are people who don't have the slightest scruples about making an appointment to come and see me," I approach Alexandra, take her chin and peck her lips, then run my tongue over her. "I'll be back."

Alexandra snorts and pinches my crotch. I settle down and leave my office to meet the impertinent woman who has just ruined my afternoon.

I leave and go to the waiting room. My heart stops immediately. What is that woman doing here? And in those faces? I approach her and look at her up and down.

"Ariadna Thompson?"

The woman's cheeks caught fire, and she swallowed hard and seemed to see a ghost. I, on the other hand, was glad to see her, but I was immediately confused, and not because she seemed ugly to me; I was drunk that day at the bar, and I didn't appreciate her as she really was. Now, sober in front of me, was a really beautiful woman.

"It is... Mr. Mackenzie," she took a deep breath. "I have come to speak with you, but your secretary has told me that you are busy. If you want, I can come back another day."

She gets up from her seat threatening to leave and in a desperate attempt, I approach and stop her.

"No, wait twenty minutes and I'll keep you going."

"Thank you very much," she murmurs slightly.

I nod my head and head straight to my office. There is Alexandra, naked, lying on my leather sofa, with a tiny satin fabric covering her body. I remain static.

"Alexandra, wow, what are you doing?"

"Waiting for you, we have pending, darling."

I shook my head and began to pick up all his clothes subtly. I approach and hand it to her.

"Get dressed, please. You must leave immediately."

"What?" Alexandra stands up, completely confused. It was the first time I had rejected her in that way, but I had something pending.

"Please." I turn to my desk and take a deep breath so as not to be consumed by temptation.

Alexandra begins to dress while repeating a number of expletives against me. I ignore her words and adjust my time. In the end, I know I can have it whenever I feel like it; A nuisance day won't be a problem.

"Explain to me, Jordano, what's going on?" She tells me, as she adjusts the last button of her shirt and confronts me.

"I have a pending, I'm sorry. Can you go out, please? Don't call me, I'll call you," she raised her eyebrow.

Alexandra clenches her fists and grimaces, takes her briefcase and leaves my office like a soul carried by the devil. I look around, making sure everything is in order, and pick up the phone.

"Chloe, tell Miss Ariadna that she can come in."

"Very well, doctor."

For some stupid reason, I start to feel nervous, but I clear my throat and the door opens.

"Go on, Ariadna, please."

The woman, visibly embarrassed, enters with shuffling steps and lowered eyes.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Mackenzie. Thank you for attending to me."

"Sit down, please." Ariadna is a young, beautiful girl, with a white complexion, a sad look, an impressive body and exceptional energy. She sits across from me and clears her throat.

"I don't take up much of your time, I've only come to pay the debt that was outstanding in the bar. She takes out an envelope from her bag and spreads it out on my desk. I receive it and realize that it contains a number of small denomination bills. I don't count them, I just turn the envelope back to her."

"No need, Ariadna. However, I want to offer you an apology for that night; I was just drunk. "I'm lying, because I'm like that all the time, I always want to be with the woman I like." But I don't want to look bad in front of her.

"Take the payment, please... It's just that I don't like to have debts. " She lowers her gaze, and I get the feeling that she didn't come precisely to pay me the money; it seems to be looking for something else, and I have to find out.

"You will not owe me for those four hundred; Take them, that's okay. Is something wrong with you?"

Ariadna lifts her head, and when she looks at me, her cheeks burst into a deep red. It remains static.

"Sir," she takes a breath, "Mr. Mackenzie, I have come because I want to..." she clears her throat.

"Yes?" I cross my legs and put my hand on the desk, moving my fingers to calm my anxiety.

"I want you to reformulate your proposal for me," she blurts out without further ado.

The word "proposal" resonated in my mind like a beautiful sound that excited me, and my expression changed. I looked at her with lust; At that moment, I wanted to take advantage of their obvious needs.

"Are you sure?" She asked decisively. If she didn't beat around the bush, neither would I.

She nods and holds up her finger.

"Although there is a condition, sir."

I roll my eyes. No woman set conditions, least of all me, Jordano Mackenzie.

"What condition?" I ask, hinting at my anger.

She gets up from her seat, clutching her hands nervously.

"Excuse me, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have come."

Before I can run away, I quickly get up and grab her arm. I stay so close that I feel like I inhale its own air, and I swallow whole. She's making me nervous; It makes me feel something.

"Don't go. Tell me what the condition is."

Ariadna's lips trembled, and her eyelids seemed to have movement of their own. However, I breathe as if the air gives her the strength to speak and she snorts

"The condition is that you don't be so rude to me, please, and that you pay me a thousand. And it must be in writing."

I let go of it immediately and take two steps back. Rudeness? Contract? Two words I didn't know, because I'm fascinated by rough sex and one-night stands.
