A cold wind sprinted her hair in a rhythm as she tightened her arms around her body trying to provide her small frame as much warmth as she could, she took feeble steps towards the hotdog stall heaving out a tired sigh. Even after working whole day she knew she couldn't afford to buy something more than this for her dinner. If she did she will waste money which was needed for other matter. Her whole body felt like tons of weight had been thrown over it but the irony she still had to endure it after all she had no other option.
She paid for two packed smoking hot hotdogs before accelerating her speed to reach her little house, finally a sigh of relief decided to erupt her lips as she stepped inside the small apartment which she called as her house. Who could have guessed that once a spoilt princess had to face this unfortunate day when her pride, ego and luxury would be crushed under the cruelty of fate. Well indeed everyone had to face the karma and she was no less than the person who had to live through it even if it was too painful.
Her tired blue eyes roamed all over the living room trying to find one particular man but he was nowhere to be seen. Coming on the conclusion that he hadn't returned yet she placed the packets of hotdogs on the table and decided to make a cup of tea for herself. The day at the cafe was hectic, she had to work twice what she has been assigned for. The manager was taking advantage of her vulnerability and she couldn't even protest. She badly needed this job.
From the time her fate had thrown her from the lengths to sky to the deepest of earth she had learned to endure, her patience has increased twice the way she was in past. The short tempered whining woman was no where left in her. The life had taught her valuable lesson, the more weak you will be, the more people exploit you, and if the situation was hers she couldn't even protest anymore.
Her eyes lit up and small smile of gusto broke on her pale lips finding the man she was waiting for entering the room, he returned her gesture getting rid of the worn out coat before taking a seat on the years old couch. She brought a glass of water for him and with a grateful gesture he took it.
"Dad, I bought this. You must be hungry." She said placing the plate in front of her father who chuckled in sadness after witnessing their almost everyday dinner, but could he complain? It was more than what their condition could ask for.
"I am such a failure, I couldn't even provide you a good meal anymore." The young girl sighed taking a seat beside him placing her cup on the table. She smiled at her father even though it was full of sadness she shook her head.
"I am fine, dad. Right now our main concern should be the debt." Her father nodded his head before grabbing the hotdog and munching on it and the girl mimicked his actions biting the now cold food. It did nothing to fill their growling stomachs but in the end something was still better than nothing.
"I paid the loan sharks today, their debt is off our head now." This news sprung a huge smile over her lips as she took a deep breath of relief, at least they wouldn't be disturbed by few of the loan sharks now.
"That's such a great news!" She exclaimed but her gleeful expressions soon got exchanged with worried one.
"But dad why are you so tensed? Those men were the huge burden on us." The man looked at her nodding his head in affirmation.
"Yes, and I am grateful that we were able to pay off the debt but the bank's debt is still on our heads. And this month's installment has to be paid in two days otherwise they will convict this house as well and we will be left with nothing." Her breath hitched when realization finally started seeping in her.
How can she forget that more than those loan sharks, banks authority can be vicious! They had already gathered half off the installment money but the other half was spend in order to pay the loan sharks. Now she understood her father's worry, this house was the only thing left for them and they couldn't afford to lose it as well.
All these year's earning and reputation of her father has already been tarnished a long time ago and this house was the only thing left for them. If they lost it as well they will be left on the streets and they might not even be able to eat these hotdogs anymore.
Pondering over the matter for a few minutes her mind clicked and even though the thought alone squeezed her heart but she still wanted to do that. After all she had no other choice left apart of that, she couldn't see her father losing the last piece he had bought with his money, even if to save it she had to rip out of her own last happiness away.
"Dad, I have something I can sell." She expressed loudly and instantly the old man knew what she was talking about. He shook his head negatively, there was no way he wanted her to give up only thing she had left of her own.
"No my daughter. Those are yours I can't do that!" He refused her idea but she held his cold hand in her warm ones squeezing it.
"Dad, it's fine. We need this right now and it's not like they are any of my use anymore. They are like decoration pieces that's it." Being adamant her father again refused but she was as stubborn as he was and finally in the end he agreed with a pained heart.
Night wiped away and morning arrived with birds chirping and wind making a soft noise indicating that the weather will be as chilly as it was yesterday. She woke up and got ready before opening the drawer she once named as her treasure. She never thought there will be a day like this when she will have to take this step.
Pulling out a box and the shiny range of gold and silver badges shimmered making her eyes instantly glistened with tears. Those badges were the proof of her being an excellent student, not even a single year was spent without her winning a badge, be it a golden or silver and she once also got a diamond one. It was such a proud moment for her to hold them in her hand but today her pride once again would be crushed. And she knew she deserved it.
She caressed the golden badge she won on the competition of the best pianist, she smiled as the wave of the past memories hit her remembering those beautiful yet regretful days. She chuckled watching her reflection in the shiny material, who will even recognize this girl now? The same once proud and egoistic girl has become a broken helpless one. Hard to believe yet that what fate was.
Once bright blue eyes every girl was envious of, the same beautiful princess who was famous of snatching every men attention. Sadly smiling at her skinny frame and lifeless pale face she closed her eyes. Even her own reflection disgusted her, she wasn't that pathetic yet her karma was cruel than the people who did the same crimes as her.
Taking a deep breath she wiped her tears away not wanting to go back to the memories that will haunt her for the crimes she once committed. Grasping the badges in her hand she put them inside her worn out bag and just when she was about to place the box back something caught her eyes.
A small agitated smile appeared over her dry lips as she folded her palm over a beautiful pearl bracelet which had small engraving in the middle crystal. Caressing it like it was the most cherished and treasured thing in the world for her she brought it close to her lips. Light kiss was placed over the material and small whisper once again decided to leave her lips.
"I missed you so much. I wish I could go back to time, I just wish." She stuttered gulping down.
The bracelet was nothing special in worth, it was simple and quiet cheap in price but the one who gave her this worth more than her life. She still remember how he told her the story of him working his nights off just to buy this for her. She wished she had treasured it the way she did now when he was here.
Once again securely placing the bracelet in it's usual place she took a deep breath. These badges might not be of much but the diamond one could atleast bring her a little even though it was only one diamond. But atleast she would be able to pay the installment of this month and might save a little for next one.
Her father already left for his work and as usual they both didn't have breakfast. They couldn't afford to eat a lot as they fear the groceries might finish sooner than needed. She walked towards the jeweler and placed her badges there and as expected the old man did try to trick her but she had enough experience now. For the past years she had been tricked like this many times.
After getting a reasonable money and with a heavy heart she glanced at the rewards that were once belonged to her she walked out of the shop. Tears once again stung her eyes but shaking her head she vowed to not cry, she just couldn't. This was her life and she had learn to compromise a long time ago.
She called her father and informed him about the money and fortunately they were able to pay the installment of this month even though at the end her father was left with a heart full of despair feeling like a failure. Finally after getting rid of this worry she ran towards the cafe.
"Aurora!" She hissed hearing a sharp screeching sound of her manager and she knew she was going to get scolded for being late.
She turned around finding the woman in her mid 30s staring at her with disgusted frown, Aurora has no idea why this woman hate her so much but she just always tried to find reason to torture her. She politely bowed her head apologizing right away.
"I am sorry mam, I was caught up in the traffic. I am really so---" The woman held her hand up showing her sharp edgy nails.
"Excuses! How many times I have to tell you I don't want you to be late even for a second and today you came past five minutes of your actual time! Do you think it's a playground?!" Aurora flinched when she raised her voice.
Even after so many years of people walking over her and shouting at her she still wasn't used to loud noises. She again bowed her head apologizing and as expected the woman kept on insulting the young girl to her heart's content and finally asked her to get back to her work.
She always did this. Neither did she fire her nor let her off for even once, sighing tiredly Aurora took a seat on the piano seat and started playing it. The cafe had a unique concept of taking requests from the customers and according to what they want Aurora has to play the piano.
She had two jobs, one in this cafe in the morning and after that she had to play the same instrument in a night club. The club paid her more than what this woman did but again Aurora's profession was something that you couldn't get a proper job with it. Because of the poor financial condition she wasn't even able to complete her graduation and her education wasn't enough for her to get a proper job.
As she was busy playing the piano she got a sudden request from some anonymous customer and the tune he requested brought a lot of memories from the past. Looking around she had no idea who requested it but keeping a heavy stone over her throbbing heart. She played that melancholic melody which ripped her internally once again.
Her smooth fingers pressed the keys letting everyone in the cafe hear the pain behind that beautiful soft melody and a lone tear caressed her cheek as soon she hit the last note. She again raised her head and this time her eyes fell on a broad back of an unfamiliar man.
His body was covered with heavy black coat, hands with gloves and there were a few bodyguards surrounding him as he made his way out of the cafe. Her breath got stuck in her throat when she got a slight glimpse of his side frame through the blurry window. She kept on staring at the way the man disappeared when suddenly her manager scolded her bringing her back to reality.
Meekly apologizing she again resumed her work but that man's familiar side posture didn't leave her mind even after reaching the home. The first thing she did was to grab the ring from the drawer and laid on the bed staring at it with keen interest.
"No, it can't be him. I must be hallucinating him again." She mumbled sighing heavily, for how many times she was going to see his illusion. Each time she feels like he was near her but alas! How could he?
When he was already dead.

This story will contain violence and forced scenes (dubios consent). Your choice to read it.

When did I ever say I love you?
A weak and powerless boy like you can only be a plaything.
A melodious laugh filled with mock echoed in his ear followed by a pained shrill making the sturdy man unlatched his light grey eyes lazily letting it fall over the screaming man. His usual blank gaze got fixated over the bloodied man who was on the verge of losing his life, he blinked a few times clearing his mind from the memories that had vowed to never let him have a moment of peace.
"PLEASE I DON'T KNO-- AHHHHH!" Once again ear piercing shriek escaped his lips crossing the patience of the ruthless man.
Swiftly grabbing the gun from his lap he shot dead the crying man ending his misery after painful five days. His men looked over to him in surprise, the man wasn't supposed to die this early. They needed to get some information from him and their boss never acted this impulsive before and indeed his action wasn't only based on his irritation instead.
"He didn't know anything otherwise he would have spit out till now." Clearing their uncertainties the man's hoarse voice echoed in their ears making them bow down their heads.
Standing up from the worn out chair he exited the basement, no one dared to even question him. Reaching his room he placed the gun on the side table before stripping off his clothes, getting inside the cold shower he let the water torment his warm body gaining no reaction from him in return.
Palming the glass wall he again closed his eyes letting the memories captivate his senses in a way only torture could define it. People might want to forget the worst phase of their lives but this cruel veteran wants to live in those painful memories, they gave him power, the reminder of his past was the only way that made him stay stuck to what he was today. A ruthless mafia king.
Ace Sullivan.
Once an innocent boy with many dreams reserved in his heart had turned into a menacing beast who didn't know the meaning of mercy. And he was proud of what he had become, he has worked hard for what he was today and seems like the time to satiate the fire in his heart had come.
The fire igniting the edges of his patience, the patience he held for the last fucking 10 years! He had almost accomplished everything he had ever wished for, he had many people in the list underlined with red line. He had already punished a few but the main culprits of his pain were still free from his grasp.
This ruthless beast couldn't wait to hold them in his fist until they will be crushed. He would love to bury their ashes when he would be done.
Unfolding his sharp grimace eyes he gritted his teeth before the sides of his lips tilted up into a lopsided smirk, he had waited for so long for this time, he couldn't wait to see those light blue ocean eyes again. Closing the tap of the shower he narrowed his eyes still keeping the smirk intact on his lips.
10 years! Fucking 10 years he has waited for this time, the madness, vengeance and rage trapped in his heart needed to be given a soothing hand now. He wasn't the same 18 years old innocent boy who was easy to be fooled, he has changed. And into a worst kind. The moment he will make his reappearance they will face his wrath after all till now he had been showing his utmost mercy on them.
Wrapping the towel around his waist he got out of the bathroom and the first thing his eyes caught was the file he asked his man to bring to him placed on the table, grabbing it the first page was enough to make him smirk in satisfaction. Seems like his plan has been working well, seeing that family on their begging end was a sight worth for sore eyes.
Chuckling dryly in amusement he threw the file back on the table clasping his cigarette packet, walking to the balcony he let the cold wind hit his freshly showered frame but his heart and soul were colder to feel the chilly attack of weather. Lighting up the cigarette he let the smoke burn his lungs puffing it out time to time.
"Presto il mio veleno, presto." He whispered darkly letting his deep voice get lost in the chilly wind, gazing at the foggy forest holding many wicked plans in his empty eyes for her he nodded his head letting the usual darkness overpower his mind. (Soon my venom, soon.)
Ace Sullivan after becoming Cyrus Sylvester's successor took upon the title of a killing machine, he might not speak much but his weapon does a lot. Ace was the first mafia boss who wasn't blood related to Sylvester family. It was expected that the men in the gang wouldn't accept him easily but the young boy proved them that no one other than him was more deserving of the place that once belonged to Cyrus Sylvester.
After the Russians accepted the alliance with Ace Sullivan he was given the brooch that was the sign of him being the mafia boss. And the oldest members of his gang indeed accepted the fact that somehow Cyrus was better than Ace in terms of dealing with his enemies, at least he was a bit compassionate with his allies but Ace was a different case.
Ace's cunning mind and short temper sometimes proved to be hazardous not only for the enemies but also his alliances, it wasn't long ago when Ace had killed spain's mafia king who tried to attack the russians and took over the country. Even Cyrus had many enemies who used to attack him but Ace was a different case not even a single enemy of his had guts to attack him. Even though in his initial days he was attacked by many other gangs but each of them met with ruthless end.
Ace had his one favorite way of torturing his preys. He skins them alive. And the fact he smiles while peeling his victims skin off was something insane about him. Psycho was a small word to describe his personality, he was beyond psychotic, insane and mad.
His fear indulged in people's heart was to the extent that not even women ever dared to look in his way trying to seduce him was a far thing. The depth of his dread can be delivered with the fact that not even one woman was alive who actually wanted to be associated with a man like him. His insane and treacherous ways were too popular to be ignored. No woman had a strength to be destroyed by the hands of such noxious man.
After getting himself ready he wore a mask over his face and let the driver drove him to his everyday usual place. His workers had no idea why their merciless boss visited this place for many years but they knew it was related to that one woman there. They had seen him gawking at her with his intense gaze but never did he approach her.
They had no idea what was stopping him? He was extremely handsome with perfect body and status, there was so secret that if he did approach her she might say yes right away. But he never did, there was something their boss was planning and they knew it wouldn't be good for that woman. Especially at the way his eyes were not of any lover but someone who would love to break her, mend her and again break her. His eyes held the intensity of the emotions they had never witnessed in his eyes before.
Walking inside the familiar cafe he took the seat in the corner letting his hawk eyes settle on the fragile woman who was busy playing with the keys of piano. As expected she could never go wrong with her speciality. Suddenly a twisted idea stroked his head and he did act upon it, and a twisted smirk erupted his lips hidden under the mask.
Motioning his man he ordered him to get the pianist play a certain song and the man obediently conveyed his order to the manager. His lips curved up into a small smirk watching her looking bothered and disturbed at the request of the song, so she hadn't forgotten about him as he actually expected her to.
Good! She should be disturbed, bothered and trampled away with nothing but pain remembering everything related to him. He wouldn't let her run away from the memories they both shared. Those memories caused by her cruelty and followed by his destruction. His pain has ended and her ruination will start now, the suffering she has felt in the past few years was nothing for him.
This time her tears will be granted by him, he will watch her wither away but at the same time he will again blossom her up, he will kill her yet wouldn't let her die ever. He will break her yet wouldn't let her pieces be lost. She will suffer the torture she once granted him but he wouldn't let her go.
After all she was the vengeance he was deeply intoxicated by.

Aurora gulped feeling a weird sensation erupting her spine, this wasn't something new to her but she wasn't just getting used to it. For the past few years, she had felt like someone was constantly following her or watching her but whenever she tried to find the source of her discomfort her efforts always returned hopeless.
But she knew one thing, this feeling always started whenever she went to the cafe for her first job, but again shaking away her uncertainties she reminded herself that she had left nothing in her to allure anyone anymore to be her stalker. In past, all of her friends and the boys who hit on her or were behind her for either her money or her body.
Being 5'5 Aurora had an hourglass body which every girl would kill to have, her waist was slim but not to the extent of being called skinny. Her puffy cheeks, red lips and shiny blue eyes which resembled perfectly with ocean water could drive any man insane. Her once healthy brunette silky locks were the sign of her perfect princess life and at that time attracting men was no big deal to her.
But now she would laugh if anyone told her that they were interested in her, especially at how depressed she always looked. Even though her height remained the same but her once hourglass body was nowhere to be seen. Her waist had turned terribly slim to the extent of being called malnourished, and her fragile arms and legs were another story, she had noticed how only once her male colleague touched her arm and instantly left it fearing that he might break it at how skinny it felt in his hand.
Her once healthy hair had fallen so much that she was now ashamed of letting them down, even an old woman would have better hair than her now. Her chubby cheeks had turned extremely dainty but fortunately not enough to show her cheekbones, but indeed her jawline had turned sharper than before because of her extreme weight loss. Her dry slightly pink lips, dull eyes and pale face could never attract any men anymore.
And it wasn't like she wanted to, her heart was stuck on that one particular guy and no matter how many men might enter her life she would never be able to move on. Maybe dying in his memories was her fate and surprisingly this fact didn't bring any sorrow to her instead she felt a wave of happiness against her chest each time she thought of ending this misery.
She was living for her father, he was the only reason she hadn't lost the battle of her mind and heart otherwise only God knows she had nothing to live. She was surviving and she had to keep going, it was her punishment for what she did to him. And she knew it still wasn't enough, until she was alive she had to repent.
But only if she knew, her real repentance didn't even start yet.
"Aurora," She flinched coming out of her trance, turning towards the smiling guy, she returned his joyful grin with her small ones.
"Felix," She greeted her only co-worker and a friend. Well not really a friend but as they had been working together for almost 5 years now, Felix had put a stamp on their relationship as a friendship one and Aurora didn't really have the heart to say no to him, especially at how he had helped her so many times.
"Come on, why are you standing here alone? I have been waiting for you so long, I called you here not to stand but help me with the shopping. We didn't come to this shopping mall for you to stand alone, come!" As always Felix didn't touch her but motioned her to follow him.
Felix only once touched her and at that time Aurora told him she didn't like to be touched by anyone, so after that, the man respected her boundary and never made any move to come closer to her. Felix was already engaged and had a beautiful fiance who used to work with them, these two were the only people who actually approached Aurora and befriended her even though she tried her best to stay anonymous.
Felix's fiance was pregnant and they were going to get married in a month, so Felix invited her and a few of his friends who were their colleagues as well to go shopping together, that way he would be able to do wedding shopping and also would give everyone an invitation to their wedding. Aurora didn't want to come here because of two reasons, first, she didn't want to hear taunts from her other colleagues for being rude as she never cared to interact with them.
And second, she had no money to shop here, she simply said yes to help Felix with the shopping. She followed the joyful man while gazing around the place, Felix entered the jewellery shop and gestured for her to choose, she smiled a bit reminiscing the moment when Laura, his fiance clearly ordered her to select jewellery for her as Laura always claimed that Aurora's choice was the best.
She selected the jewellery with much attentive measure taking a long time, but as soon as she succeeded in her quest she noticed the man heave out a sigh of relief like finally he was free from the imprisonment. She chuckled at his dramatic gestures and looked around the shop when her eyes suddenly halted on a beautiful, simple and elegant pendant.
Grey-hued eyedrop-shaped pendant dangled on the silver chain, that colour. It reminded her of the eyes that never left her mind, the same beautiful crystals she had at her mercy without any effort but she didn't cherish it. Her ungrateful egoistic heart didn't treasure it. Her eyes and attention were completely stuck over the exquisite pendant making the man behind her follow her emotional gaze.
Felix smiled noticing her staring at the piece, he secretly went near the worker and asked the person to pack the simple pendant which had gained her whole attention as well. Felix had no idea why Aurora was such a silent woman, she never shared any of her problems with them. It was obvious she was suffering a lot but the woman's facade of being fine was stronger than anything else.
Aurora's eyes broke away from the pendant when Felix called her, she turned around only to gasp out when she found him raising the box whose lid was opened revealing the same pendant she was watching a while ago. She snapped her eyes at the smiling man realising that he had bought it for her.
"No Felix, I can't take that, please don't---" Felix sighed before nearing her leaving a respectful distance between them.
"Aurora, you have helped me so much today, and you have to help me even more now, so please it's a small token of appreciation from me. Please take it," She again refused it shaking her head.
"I am helping you as a friend, so please don't do this." A full-blown smile appeared over the overjoyed man as he pushed the box near her even more.
"Finally, you called me your friend. So fine as a friend I am gifting you something please take it. You never told me your birthday and never have you ever accepted any of the gifts I gave you. But now you also accepted the fact that we are friends so please take it otherwise it will hurt me a lot and will show only one thing that you had not considered me as your friend." As expected Aurora's eyes softened not getting how emotionally he was blackmailing her into giving in so finally not wanting to hurt him she extended her hand hesitantly grabbing the box.
The past scars were still fresh on her mind and heart, she could never forget how she had hurt so many people in her immaturity especially that one particular man, and now even the slightest thought of being the reason for someone's sadness scared her. She would rather stay alone her whole life but would never want anyone to feel hurt because of her. She had vowed never to be a reason for someone's pain or tears again.
"Come on wear it," Felix said in excitement making her gulp down as she stared at the pendant once again which again reminded her of his eyes.
Taking a deep breath she pulled the pendant out and carefully clicked it around her dainty neck letting the grey crystal fall lazily over the dip between her bony collarbone. Felix smiled and nodded in appreciation, "This looks perfect on you, beautiful." She smiled lightly at the gleeful man before they again got busy in the shopping hunt.
But what she didn't know was the hawk eyes of her predator, he might not be near her all the time to examine her every action but he indeed had his eyes stuck over her. His body might not stalk her but his eyes did, and the poor woman had no idea what by accepting that gift she had done to provoke the merciless beast.
"Sembra che non posso più lasciarti solo, veleno mio." He whispered in the dark empty room. (Seems like I can't leave you on your own anymore, my venom.)
The twisted smile graced his lips as he leaned back against the chair watching her each move with his calculative gaze through the CCTV footage of the mall. She had no idea what this action had started, he had seen her for years rejecting the gifts offered by this man before but suddenly she accepted that gift and had some doubt that she might be willing to move on and that had struck him hard.
He narrowed his eyes before nodding his head, seems like it was finally the time to strike for the last time. He had to play his last triumph card when he will see that father-daughter duo crying on their knees begging him for his mercy but would he show it?
No, he would be the same heartless bastard that they were to him once.
