Chapter 1 Stressed over marriage

Chapter 01 - STRESSED OVER MARRIAGE

Author's POV

It was the last week of December, acclaimed for the 'Wedding month' as most couples likely to get married this month. In an enormous opened faultlessly planned room, which was giving the obsessive worker vibes.

A young woman remaining close to the counter was making refreshments for her associates. Her lovely earthy-colored hair was falling back, uncovering her delightful side. Her eyes were gleaming, brilliant like the sun. A grin shaped all the rage as she took the cups loaded up with espresso and strolled outward.

Putting cups on her partner's work areas, she moved to her friend, who looked disappointed. With a sweet, worried tone, she inquired. "What befell you, Xia Na?" Turning her head, she confronted her as she clarified. "Same obviously, XingYue. The dealer isn't answering my messages, and I need to make this deal successful." Massaging her temples, she hurled herself back on the seat as she panted. "For what reason is my life so extreme? Gracious, god. Kindly favor me." Chuckling at her acting, XingYue passed the cup to her. "Here is your favorite cappuccino. Presently buckle down for it."

Gesturing her head, she took the cup and tasted it. "Mmm! You never baffle me." Patting her head, she cheered her. "Xia Na, don't take the pressure, alright? You can crack this deal. Cheer up!"

Hugging her abdomen, she grinned. "You are the dearest friend somebody can at any point have. I love you. Muah!" Making a smacking sound, she extended her hands, noticeable all around as she turned around to her laptop and began working.

Grinning at her, XingYue pivoted as she began strolling, just to get halted by a call. Closing her eyes in irritation, she ventured ahead to her work area to check the caller's name. Feigning exacerbation, she gazed at the screen when Xia Na talked. "For what reason are you not picking the call?" Pressing her lips together, she went to her and shown her phone. Wrinkling her foreheads, she added. "Your mom is calling you for the fiftieth times."

"Furthermore, you think about what she will talk with me." She passed a pitiful grin, speculating. "About getting married?" Nodding her head in understanding, she articulated a murmur. "She only discusses with me about blind dates, marriage. It seems like she just thought often about me getting married or not?" Placing a hand on her shoulder, she communicated. "It's not like that. She wishes a good future for you." "And I'm living superbly. I don't have to get married for it."

While they were talking, a woman intruded on them. "Hello, guys. What are you discussing?"

"Examining XingYue's marriage, obviously, Tang Xue," reacted Xia Na.

Gaping at her place, she identified XingYue. "Try not to stress. Everything will be okay. Coincidentally, Mr. Han is searching for you." Making a gracious face, she stood up as she gathered documents from her work area and strolled to his cabin.

XingYue's POV

Working continuously, not even caring about the cold weather, I felt stressed. Nowadays I worked overtime only to arranged everything perfectly well. I'm an assistant to Mr. Han for three years. He was a little old as he stayed stressed because of the work, and her health didn't help well. As he was getting old, his son would be going to replace him soon, and according to the sources, his son was a serious, hardworking, and cold-hearted person who needed everything perfect. Mr. Han wanted me to keep working hard and remained an assistant for him as well. His perfection was a stressful thing for me. I'm an assistant to the CEO of the Han entertainment company. Since the day I joined, Mr. Han treated me like a daughter, and the employees who worked here never let me feel alone. I got my best friends Xia Na, Tang Xue here.

Disregarding my musings, I thumped on the entryway as he allowed me to come in. With a drained face, I welcomed him. "Good day, Mr. Han. You were searching for me?" Gesturing me to sit down, he concurred. "Indeed, XingYue. I need to illuminate you that Han Shuo will join the organization from tomorrow. Kindly be pleasant to him and coordinate well. I realize he is a little cold individual, yet trust me, he won't treat you horrendously."

Listening to him, I grinned. "Try not to stress. I will deal with him well."

A grinned put all over as he looked at the dark circles close to my eyes.

"It is safe to say that you are not resting soundly, Xing? Am I giving you a ton of work?"

Gesturing as no with my hands, I answered. "Actually, no, not under any condition. It's just my mom continued pushing me for marriage." Leaning back on his seat, he laughed. "Once more? Why don't you acknowledge it? You realize your mother feels stressed over you." "

"I know, Mr. Han. But I'm not ready for the wedding at all. I want to live freely, and besides, I have a boyfriend who can come anytime from foreign." "Do your mom knows about it?" he asked.

"No, she doesn't."

Crossing his arms, he commented. "Then tell her about your feelings. I'm sure she will understand. Go home early and talk to her, okay?" Bowing my head, I took my leave as a sigh escaped from my mouth when my phone buzzed again. Pursuing my lips, I picked the call.

XingYue: Mom! I told you I'm working.

A hollered was heard from the opposite side as my mom reprimanded.

Mom: Why you are always working whenever I'm calling you. Are you trying to fool me?

XingYue: Mom, you're calling me none stop from the morning. How can I focus on my work?

Mom: Stop whatever you're doing and come to the place I sent you.

Messaging her temples, she argued.

XingYue: I'm not going on any blind date. That is my final decision.

Laughing on the other side, she spoke sarcastically.

Mom: Oh, dear. You already lost your chance of going on dates. I fixed your marriage already.

I just stared with wide open-eyed cannot shut, like the whole world was breaking crumble apart around me that I didn't even bother to move and just stood there in total paralysis without realizing what would happen after that.

Chapter 2 Meeting with the spouse

CHAPTER 02 - MEETING WITH THE FIANCÉ

XingYue's POV

I felt lost as my hand began shaking, knees got numb. Froze on my detect, my lips shuddered as nothing emerge from my mouth.

Mother: I suppose you need a little to prepare, as I'm hanging. Come soon, alright?

Expressing this, she draped the call as I ran my hands through my hair. It's not what I needed throughout everyday life. Constrained marriage was never in my plans. Tears expand in my eyes as I strolled back to my work area, looking for my encouraging friends.

Spotting them, I cried. "Xia Na..." Turning her head, she gazed at me with her wide eyes as she stood up, racing to me. "What happened my sweetheart?"

Hearing my cries, Tang Xue rushed to my work area as she maneuvered me into her hug. "What's going on with you, XingYue? Advise us." With a broken voice, I answered. "My mother settled my wedding with somebody. She didn't ask me and requested me to prepare for it." Gawking at their places, they looked at one another as Tang Xue scoured my back, shushing me. "Shh! We are still with you. If you don't want it, we'll not allow it to occur." Breaking the embrace, I took a gander at her with my puffy eyes. "My mother is not kidding this time."

Sitting down, they passed me their thoughts as I tuned in to them cautiously. "Firstly, be strong, don't cry." Humming in answer, I cleared mine detaches as they grinned, perking me up. "Good girl. Now the plan is you still don't know if the boy also wants this marriage or not? Let's assume as he doesn't want too." Nodding our head, we kept tuning in to Xia Na. "How about we settle an agreement with him to dismiss the wedding. Assuming he dismisses, everything halted, and you will be free similar to previously." Appreciating her brilliant thought, we hailed her. "Goodness! Xia Na, if you are so good. Why don't you crack your deal and get a promotion?" advised Tang Xue.

Bringing down her head, she murmured. "It's extreme. The person is giving me trouble." Cheering her up, I added. "Try not to stress over it. You are buckling down as of now. We should go to the location. I need both of you there." Dragging them alongside me, we disappeared together from the workplace as none of us had anything usual work to do.

Tang Xue drove us to the location as I was sweating and played with my fingers when Xia Na noticed me. "XingYue, we are with you, yet you are still feeling nervous." Rolling my eyes, I responded. "It's not you who got set with a stranger." They chuckled at my situation as I just looked outside the window, crossing my arms, thinking. "How will he look? What if he refused? I'll not marry if he doesn't match my dream guy checklist."

Winds started blowing, making my hair hoisted in the air as a smile formed on my lips. "I'm coming to you, dear stranger."

Author's POV

Sneezing at his place, he wiped his sweat off as he took a deep gasp. "Another surgery is done." Placing a hand on his shoulder, a young lady commented. "You sneezed. Do you catch a cold?" Before he could answer, a guy interrupted. "Not at all, Cheng Cheng. He sneezed because his soon-to-be wife missed him."

Narrowing her eyes, she argued. "Wife? Xi Song, are you and Chen Ting getting married?" Glaring at the guy, he explained. "No, Zhou Cheng. My mom settled down my wedding with someone I don't know." Increasing her pitch, she uttered. "Then what about Chen ting? She is your girlfriend, Xi Song. How can you marry someone else?" Taking off his gloves, he opened the tap of the water, answering her. "I'll argue with my mom or convince the girl to back off." Sighing at this place, the guy advised. "Why don't you just accept it? We all know, Chen Ting didn't even contact you in the past two years since she left the country. Maybe she forgets--" Cutting off his words, the other guy muttered, glaring at him. "Wen Ren, it would be great if you don't advise others. Focus on your theories first."

Sealing his lips, he walked away as Zhou Cheng and others left too. Staring at the sink, Xi Song added. "Thank you for today, Ling Xiao." Passing him a smile, he caressed his arm. "Xi Song, take some rest. You have to go to meet her too. Don't worry about Chen Ting. I asked my friend to contact her." Humming in answer, he left the place.

Xi Song, quite possibly the most renowned and attractive doctor.

Dashing, delicate, a hit among the female staff, and unfailingly enchanting with reality and aspiration towards his work. He an entertaining, cherishing man who changed into a coldblooded individual since his beloved left him, leaving no sign for him as he began turning into a serious individual who didn't joke around and just to conversed with his reserved friends. Adhered to his work, he exhausted uniquely to fail to remember her, however somewhere inside, he felt ailing in reason.

Changing his clothes, he sat beside the locker, staring at her pictures.

"Chen ting, why you left me alone? Was I not good enough for you?" A tear escaped from his eyes as he quickly wiped it. Moving his hand to keep her photograph back to his wallet, another photo fell on the ground, leaving him dumbfounded. It was quite dusty, which seems like an old cherished picture. Leaning beneath, he almost reached the photo when someone conversed, making him flinched at his spot.

Chapter 3 Happy cooperation

CHAPTER 03 - HAPPY COOPERATION

"What are you doing, Xi Song?" asked ling xiao while sitting down alongside him.

Snapping the photo, he inclined internally, answering him. "Why you walk so quietly? I can't hear your strides." Grinning, he winked. "That is my mysterious style." Peeking at the photograph he was holding, he grabbed it as Xi Song froze. "Give it back, Ling Xiao."

Standing up, he ran as he gazed at the photo. Challenging around, he smiled at him. "Who is this young lady?" Stepping on his feet, he grabbed the photo back as he immediately set it back. "She is the young lady I was finding for such a long time. Be that as it may, I don't have the foggiest idea of what she looks like? I just saw her in the more youthful days." Scratching his face, he inquired. "So the young lady you love isn't Chen Ting. It's this young lady?" Humming in answer, he peered down, concealing his consuming face. Taking his jacket, he pardoned himself.

"I have to go to meet that stranger. Wish me luck." He passed him a thumbs-up as he left the room.

XingYue's POV

When we showed up at the area, we looked for the person, yet he was mysteriously gone. Feeling depleted, we sat down as Xia Na contended. "Yueyue, your mate isn't reliable in any way." Glancing at my wristwatch, I reacted. "We came early, guys. We should wait somewhat more for him." Placing a hand on her stomach, Tang Xue held up. "I... I'm feeling a hurt in my stomach. Would I be able to leave?" Looking at her worriedly, I let her go. "Sure, Tang Xue. Go and take some rest. You need it I guess."

Gesturing her head, she left the place as me and Xia Na continued sitting waiting for that person. "Xia Na, how might we remember him?"

Shrugging her shoulder, she declared. "How might I tell you? I never see that person." Just when we were conversing, a tall person wearing a straightforward white-shaded shirt with pair of blue denim pants while conveying a cream-hued, rich court in his grasp interrupted us. "Is it accurate to say that you are Li XingYue?"

Wincing all finished, I squinted before replying. "Y-yes?"

Pulling a chair, he sat opposite me as I stared at his cold face. "Who are you, Mr?" asked Xia Na, glaring at him. With a blank face, he answered. "Who are you first?" "Y-you--" Cutting her words off, I held her arm directing her to calm down as he noticed and let out a chuckle. "I have no time to see your dramas. I'm a doctor and my time is precious." Grinding her teeth, Xia Na sat beside me, while kept glaring at him as he didn't even bother to exchange a glance with her.

Inclining internal, he laid his arms on the table as he talked in his imposing voice. "Coming directly forthright, little lady, back off from this marriage. I have no interest in marrying a noisy individual."

Wincing, I massaged my temples, answered. "I have no interest as well. Besides, I have a sweetheart, so ease off from this wedding. I have a deal for you." He gazed with his half-lidded eyes. "What is it?"

Motioning Xia Na to uncover the agreement, I stayed there unobtrusively as Xia Na began clarifying.

Xi Song's POV

When I got to know about she had no interest either. I felt relieved. As soon as her friend started describing the plan, I listened to it while checking XingYue. She reminded me of that little girl, but before I gave more attention to my thoughts, her friends clapped her hands near my face, which snapped me back to my sense. "Are you deaf too?"

"Xia Na... If you don't mind, can we sign an agreement so, that no one can back off after."

Jabbing his cheeks, he murmured as he took out a pen from the pocket of his jacket. "Where to sign?" Taking out the record, I passed it to him as he marked it without understanding it. Passing me back, he laid back on his seat as I marked the agreement as well. A grin framed all the rage as I expanded my hand for a handshake. "Happy cooperation."

Glancing at my hand and again back to me, he thought for some time, making me humiliated. Bitting my lips, I reclaimed my hand when he unexpectedly held it. "Happy cooperation." His hands were feeling so particularly warm as I never felt like this. Looking directly at me, he grasped his hand back as I did likewise. Disregarding, he stood up and began leaving just to be halted by me. "Hello, what's your name?" Turning his head, he took a gander at me in astonishment. "Xi Song." Statting his name, he again turned around as I halted him once more. "On the off chance that... you wouldn't fret, would you be able to give us a lift? We came here with her friend, but she went due to some personal reasons."

Glancing sideways, he strolled to us as my heartbeat hastily raised. Coming nearer to me, his searing breath touched my skin, sending a shudder down to my spine. Pulling my hair back on my earlobe, he murmured. "Think carefully a little and take a taxi from outside."

Leaning back, he placed some cash on the table as he laughed.

"No need to return me. Accept it as I drive you back." Gleaming his eyes, he strolled outside, leaving us unclear.

Blinking twice, I affirmed. "Did he just insulted us?" Forming a punch with her fist, she pressed her lips firmly together, complained. "Yueyue, marry anyone, but not this guy. I hate him so much." Picking the money he left, I put it in the plastic paper as I placed it in my purse. "On the next meeting, he will regret his behavior."

Humming to me, she praised. "Yes, don't leave him so easily. Let him taste his own medicine." Just when we were talking, I received a call from the company which made my jaw dropped.

Picking the call, I asked. "Ms. Zhang? What happened?" In a worried tone, she explained. "Mr. Han is hospitalized. Please come here as soon as possible." Upon hearing it, my heart skipped a beat as my hands started shivering that my phone almost slipped from my hands.
