Indulge In CEO's Boundless Love

Author: : Kao La
Genre: Romance
After a relaxing three-day vacation, Cindy learned from her friend that her house had been torn down without any prior notice. To her dismay, the place she had called her home had been turned into rocks and rubble. All her belongings and the memories she made, had simply turned into dust. She soon found out that her brother had blindsided her and sold the house to Carl. This mistake began the gear of their feat. He originally intended to impulsively have fun with this girl. But before he knew it, he had already lost his heart to her.

Chapter 1 How Dare You Hit Me

The heat rolled across the pavements as sunlight peered through the corners of building. The arid wind bashed against the glass windows, rendering everyone lifeless under the unbearably hot weather.

A petite woman strolled out of the gates of the airport in S City with a suitcase in her hand.

Dragging her suitcase near the road, she took out her phone and quickly called her brother. Her small pale face was flushed with excitement.

But even after dialing his number for more than ten times, he still didn't pick up.

"Damn it. Where the hell did James go?" She ran her hands through her hair out of frustration. Just as she was about to shut off her phone, her good friend, Alice Yan, called in. "Cindy, did your brother pick you up yet?"

Cindy Mu shook her head. She glanced around helplessly, trying to spot a familiar face from the crowd. "Not yet. He still hasn't answered his phone," she murmured anxiously, resisting the urge to pull her hair again. "He was fine when he drove me to the airport, and it's just been three days! How could my house be torn down in three freaking days?"

The home that Cindy Mu had been talking about was the place where she grew up with her brother, James Mu. It was a two-floor space. They managed the restaurant on the first floor, while their living area was on the second floor.

She had no idea what had happened in the past three days. All she knew was that her brother had given her a plane ticket to Sanya three days ago. "You've earned it after doing so much for me," he insisted. Seeing the expectant look in his eyes, she just had to accept.

But the next thing she knew was that her house had been destroyed!

"You know what? I'll take a taxi. I'll see what's going on."

Hanging up on her phone, she quickly hollered for a taxi by the roadside. Once the yellow car stopped in front of her, she tossed her luggage into the truck and turned to the driver. "No. 28 at Middle Sea Road, please."

As the car steered down the street, a variety of possibilities popped in her mind. What had happened? Was her brother threatened to give up the property? Or maybe some developers bought the block and then demolished their house?

Alice Yan's words of the house being torn down echoed in her mind. Her fingers tapped against her lap incessantly as she glanced at the side from time to time. However, just when the taxi stopped by the door of her house, she stared at the scenery in disbelief.

What was once a two-story building had already dissipated into ruins.

Her home, her memories, and all her things were replaced with rocks and rubble. She staggered out of the car, trying to get a hold of her breathing. Her hands shook as she took in the sight before her.

Cindy Mu leaned against a pole. Her eyelashes fluttered.

What the hell happened to her home?

Her mind had gone blank as she tried to think of a reason of why her house was in ruins. Just then, a black luxury sports car stopped in front of the ruins. A man stepped out of the car door.

The man stood in front of the ruins proudly. When she leaned closer to get a good look at him, she stiffened.

She had to admit. The guy was hot! His dark hair swept over his deep eyes. His jawline was so sharp that it could cut through butter. There was something about his thin lips that made her want to go over there and make out with him.

Suddenly, his voice knocked her back to reality.

Several workers surrounded him respectfully. All of their head were bowed as they held up various blueprints.

"Mr. Carl, we've already done what you ordered. These are the designs drawn by our architect this morning, and the building has already been successfully demolished," one of them stated formally, looking as if he was reporting to a king. "Right now, we'll be going through with our latest design of the three-story restaurant. And on the top floor, we'll invite the best team of interior designers to build an open-air garden. I'm sure it will fit your open coffee shop concept perfectly."

The contractor's words rang in her ears.

They were the ones who destroyed her home. They took everything from her, and for what? Just to build a stupid restaurant?

Thinking back to her brother's disappearance and the house's demolition, her face flushed bright red as she stalked towards the man.

Cindy Mu raised her head stubbornly and looked straight into the man's sharp eyes. "You're Mr. Carl, right? You're the one who destroyed my house? Who the hell gave you that right?" she demanded. Her eyes twitched angrily. "Look, even if you want to demolish my house to build way for your stupid restaurant, you still need my permission, right? Do you think that just because you're rich you can do whatever you want?"

Cindy Mu had seen a lot of this situations on the news. These arrogant business men thought they owned the world just because of their bottomless pockets. Not only had they taken advantage of other people's properties, but they also pushed the owners out of their lands as well.

She didn't expect that such a thing could happen to her as well.

Glancing at the stranger who had just walked up to him, Carl Chang couldn't help but take a closer look.

Although the woman wasn't exceedingly beautiful like the ones he had seen in magazines, her face was still very exquisite. There was something about her bright fiery gaze that intrigued him.

Why was she here? To get close to him?

He pursed his lips.

"Does demolishing my own house have anything to do with you?"

The land was his. In fact, he brought it for a very high price.

He didn't need the woman's permission to build on his land.

"Your house? This is my house! Where the hell is my brother? Did you threaten him to sell this house to you? You know that's illegal, right? You're misappropriating other people's property!"

Cindy Mu was so agitated that she couldn't help but throw a few legal terms here and there. Although she wasn't a lawyer, she planned to say a few foreign words to frighten these men.

Her words left him speechless. He furrowed his eyebrows and turned away, as if he didn't hear her.

Did the woman just ask him about her brother? Was she out of her mind?

Glancing at his assistant, Carl Chang ordered, "Contact the nearest psychiatric hospital to see if a patient had snuck out."

The assistant had to hold back his laughter and nodded. Without another word, he took out his phone and searched the number of the nearest psychiatric hospital.

Cindy flushed in anger as she rushed over to Carl Chang's retreating figure.

However, the man had already got into his car. He waved his hand to the driver. He had no time to argue with the crazy woman.

Once he left, wouldn't it be more difficult for them to run into each other the next time around?

She clenched her fists. There was no way she was going to let some man go all over her and demolish her house.

He was going to pay!

In a rage, Cindy grabbed a brick from the rubble and waved it threateningly at him. "Get out of the car! If you're going to leave, then I'll throw this at you!"

She hoped to frighten him enough that he would step down the car.

He simply ignored her threat. He only glanced at her indifferently and nodded at the driver. "Let's go."

Seeing that the car had started, her mind went black. Without another thought, she threw the brick at the car.

Everyone quickly glanced at the direction where she had thrown the brick.

A bang reverberated across the open area. The brick had gone into the car window and hit Carl's head.

All of them had been so stunned by the impact that the car immediately halted. Touching his head, he immediately whirled at the woman.

"Did you just hit me with a brick?" His cold gaze was enough to freeze her over.

Chapter 2 Take Her Back To The Villa

"I...I..."

It wasn't until then that Cindy had finally come to her senses. She didn't really expect that her arm would act on its own volition!

She didn't mean it!

But then again, Cindy tilted her chin upwards. Although she was in the wrong, the man still demolished her house. There was no reason for her to be embarrassed about it.

Coughing silently, she pretended to be calm. "Well, I didn't mean to do that. I–I really didn't mean it. But now that we've done what we did, I guess we're even," she stated. "You can ask the construction company to rebuild my house, and I'll pay you hundreds of dollars for your medical fees. You can head to the hospital later on."

She could afford it. Besides, all he did was suffer from a minor injury on his forehead. It wouldn't cost that much.

"Hundreds of dollars? You also want my construction company to rebuild your house? We're even?" Carl repeated all her words, gnashing his teeth in disbelief. He wanted to wring the woman's neck to show her how even they were!

Seeing the smug look on her face, he was so angry that his body trembled at her words. The woman was just being plain unreasonable!

Hundreds of dollars! Did she take him for a beggar?

"Take her into my car," he ordered his men.

He honestly didn't want to lower himself to the same level as that woman, but she was being too insufferable. If he, the prideful heir of the Chang Family, didn't punish her today, then he would be humiliated!

"Yes, sir." The brawny men nodded. Without giving Cindy the time to register his words, they all moved towards her.

Staring at the men towering over her, she sized them up, wondering what her chances of winning were. Sadly, she was down to zero.

How the hell was she going to compete with them?

She wasn't that stupid!

Cindy looked around to see that there were only a few people walking down the street. From the looks on their faces, they all worked under him.

Even if she begged for their help, they wouldn't do anything to aid her.

In that case, the best way was to escape. She smiled softly at the suited men and proceeded to use her sickly sweet voice. "Gentlemen, please, you shouldn't resort to force," she reminded like a teacher lecturing her students.

Catching them off guard, Cindy took her chances and turned around.

However, before she could run, one of the men reached out to capture her.

"What the hell?" she yelled out, struggling under his grip. "I'm going to call the police if you don't put me down. What are you going to do?"

Her heart raced in her chest as she thought of all the wicked scenarios that could happen to her as the man pulled her up from the pavements. She stared up at him in fear.

Although she didn't know who their boss was, it was evident that he was rich and influential around here.

If the man wanted to kill her right then and there, no one would even bat an eyelid.

Before she could process what was happening, the bodyguard took her into the car door and threw her onto the backseat.

"Ow!" Cindy directly slammed against Carl's arms. Her cheeks turned bright red as her nose hit his chin.

Before she could push him away, the door was slammed shut.

The driver looked back at Carl and asked lowly, "Mr. Carl, are you going home?"

"Yes. Take me back to my villa."

Villa? The moment she heard the word, her arms went slack to her sides. The hairs on her arms shot up in the air.

'Shit! I'm really dead now.'

The man was going to take her to his villa.

What the hell was he going to do? Was he going to...

Cindy shivered, not wanting to think about it anymore.

Carl gazed at the trembling woman in his arms and frowned. He couldn't help but find her a little strange.

She had just shouted at him like some mad man a few minutes ago, and now she was shaking like a frightened cat. She meekly gazed at the carpet, afraid of looking up at him.

Over the years, Carl had met countless women who wanted to get close to him.

In fact, he had seen them all that he could list all kinds of them–greedy, haughty, prideful...

He even met a handful of crazy women, but none of them was as crazy as Cindy.

The atmosphere in the car had grown even weirder. As his fingers touched his bleeding forehead, he looked down to see that the blood had dripped onto the tips of his leather shoes. "Take off your clothes," he ordered.

When she heard this, she immediately stumbled against the edge of the car seat and raised her arms to prevent him from getting any closer. "What are you going to do?" she shrieked. "Look, I was wrong, okay? But that still doesn't change the fact that you demolished my house. All I want is my house and my brother back. I didn't mean to hit you. Please. I just..."

She burst into tears.

Carl frowned in confusion. At such a pitiful sight, even the driver couldn't help but feel sorry for the innocent woman.

Although his boss was a good man, he could be very oblivious and indifferent to these types of emotions. Plus, the woman just looked so weak and frail compared to him.

The more Cindy thought about it, the more frightened she became. Her hands trembled as she looked around, trying to find a way to escape this mess.

He was going to take her to the villa. No matter what he would do to her, nobody could come to her rescue. She shivered as the tears ran down her cheeks.

His eyebrows furrowed deeper and deeper that it could almost reach the tip of his nose. Finally, he sighed and snapped, "Shut up!"

Her bloodshot eyes were filled with unshed tears, but she held them back at the sound of his voice.

He continued, "My shoes are dirty. Take off your jacket, so I could wipe them."

"Oh... sorry...." she murmured. It was only then when it dawned on her what he meant.

Removing her coat, she handed the fabric to Carl. Without taking her thoughts into consideration, he stepped onto the fabric to wipe off the stained blood.

"Wait, that's my–" She held her breath as she stared at her coat in despair.

At this point, the three-hundred-dollar coat was nothing compared to her life on the line.

Now that she was near the deathbed, she wasn't going to care about a piece of fabric!

As the car drove farther and farther away, the tall buildings were replaced with wide trees and tall grasses. Terrified at the sight of such an isolated area, Cindy shrunk back into her seat. "Please let me go," she whispered. "I swear I won't hit you with a brick next time."

"Next time?" He snorted.

"I mean, I won't ever hit you again." She quickly corrected herself. "Please just let me go. If you let me go now, then I wouldn't call for help."

Call for help? He sneered, "And why are you calling for help? Am I kidnapping you? Have I mistreated you?" He looked at her up and down before rolling his eyes. "I don't even like you."

She reeled back and touched her face. Her face contorted to confusion. Was she really that ugly?

The car turned to the first intersection and drove into the gates of a villa. Once the car had gone to a stop, Carl got out of the car first and opened the door from the other side. "Get out of the car," he ordered.

Cindy shook her head. "No!"

"I said get out of the car!"

"Hell no!"

She wasn't stupid! Why would she go out of the car and follow him into the unfamiliar house? She wasn't asking for a death wish!

Chapter 3 Suddenly Fainted

This woman was weird and stubborn!

He reached out his hand and gripped her arm forcefully. Cindy was so flustered by his touch that she shoved him away with the back of her hand. Before he could process what was happening, she quickly closed the door and locked it.

Carl was held speechless. Wasn't that his car? The woman sat in his car and refused to get out as if she owned it. What the hell did she want?

Just as their situation had reached a deadlock, another luxury car drove into the mansion's gates. Cindy allowed herself to peer at the man who had just gotten out of the other car. Staring at the man, she found her mind going blank.

He was extremely handsome.

Although she didn't know who the man was, she could tell that he was also extremely influential.

In fact, the man and Carl seemed quite similar yet so different at the same time.

That man seemed more charming and elegant. There was something about his deep and clear eyes that made her warm in her heart. In fact, one look at him, she could feel her body going to mush.

Pulling Carl aside, the man asked lowly, "What are you doing? I heard from your assistant that something had gone wrong with the land you've bought recently. Plus, how did you get that wound on your forehead? Why don't I take you to the hospital first?"

It turned out that the charming man was Carl's elder brother.

Carl pointed at the woman inside the luxury car and sneered in disgust. "That woman is crazy as hell. Not only did she smash a brick on my head, but she even also demanded that I build her house back," he complained. "I don't know what she wants at this point!"

"Oh? Is that so?" Anthony Chang smiled and gazed at the petite woman in the car. His eyes gleamed in curiosity.

There were only a few women in the world who had the guts to hurt his brother and refuse him outright.

Striding at the front of the car, Anthony Chang bent over and grinned at the unfamiliar woman. "Nice to meet you, I'm Carl's brother," he said, chuckling. "My brother's a bit of a hothead, so I have to apologize for his temper. I heard that you two fought over the land a while ago. Do you mind telling me what seems to be the problem?"

Cindy blinked in surprise as she gazed at the handsome man in front of her. He had a gentle personality, definitely much better than Carl's.

When he introduced himself as the man's brother, her eyes widened in surprise. How could the two even be related?

Anthony Chang's sincerity calmed her down a bit. Rolling down her window, she quickly explained, "The two-story building your brother demolished belongs to me. My brother sent me to Sanya three days ago. The next thing I know was that my house was gone! Plus, my brother has disappeared. I don't want to cause any trouble. I just want to take back my house and find my brother."

Before Anthony Chang could explain his side of the story, the driver spoke first, "It seems that your brother hid all of this from you. Sending you to Sanya must just be an excuse. He was the one who signed the contract with us three days ago to sell the house – your house, to be more specific."

Cindy froze as the words slipped the old man's lips. "What?" she shrieked.

"No, that can't be. If my brother sold it, then why would he leave so suddenly? Besides, that house is the only property I have! Where else would I live? How could my own brother not know that?"

Her hands trembled. No. Her brother wouldn't do that to her. Where was she going to live?

After hesitating for a while, Anthony Chang ordered the driver, "Go and get the house purchase agreement that was signed."

Without waiting for a second, the driver immediately headed to the villa and asked the butler to find the contract. In a few minutes, he returned to the car with the paper in hand.

Anthony Chang handed the paper to Cindy, and she quickly scanned through the pages. When she saw her brother's signature on the last page, she held her breath.

It really was his signature. That was his handwriting.

Just as Cindy was about to speak up, her brother had finally called her back.

Seeing his number on the screen, she immediately answered, "Where the hell are you?"

From the sound of her voice, he could roughly guess that she knew what he had done.

"I know it's wrong, sis," he protested. "But I have to do this for myself. You love me, right? You want me to be happy, right?"

Although her brother's coaxing might have worked on her before, Cindy was far from outraged at what he had done. "How dare you sell our mother's house?" she roared. "Do you even know what that house means to me? It's my entire life! How the hell can I make money without that snack bar? Where do I live if you've sold my house?"

Hearing his sister's desperate cry, he could feel his heart breaking for the woman.

He felt incredibly sorry and guilty for what he had done, but after taking a look at the lovely woman in front of him, he couldn't help but shake his head.

"Look, take this as a payment for not taking good care of your brother," he snapped before hanging up the phone.

"James Mu!" she yelled at the dead line, wanting nothing more than to wrangle her brother's neck.

'Son of a bitch! Did he really just put me aside?'

After calling his name out once more, she collapsed onto the car seat lifelessly.

Seeing this, Anthony Chang immediately opened the door and felt the woman's pulse. Without another word, he strode into the villa and ordered the servants, "Go and call the doctor." He turned to the other maid. "Get a basin of warm water."

Carl stared at the unconscious woman in disbelief. Although she had grown incredibly emotional, he still didn't believe her.

Was her brother really that cruel to sell the house and leave his sister homeless?

Or did she want to extort some money from them on purpose?

After his fair share of experiences with greedy women, he wouldn't be surprised.

With this, he followed Anthony into the villa in confusion. "My head is still bleeding," he protested. "Are you really going to pay more attention to that liar?"

"Liar? How are you so sure that she's lying?"

Anthony frowned slightly as he gazed at the lifeless woman in his arms. Her face was filled with youthfulness and childishness. She looked like a college student who still hadn't graduated yet.

Plus, he heard the conversation between her and her brother loud and clear. Although Anthony was not as cold and heartless as his younger brother, he was still a very cautious man.

He would know whether the woman was lying or not.
