Someone just tapped me angrily at my back. I was busy using the washing machine to wash Jane and her son's clothes. She gave me a lot of work to do. I cleaned the house with the clothes.

"Lydia why are you still washing clothes at this time of the hour? Why didn't you come to the office today? our Boss asked of you, she said you didn't give her permission and you decided not to come to work",Veronica interrogated me instantly .

"You know that I told you that Jane said if I didn't wash all the clothes and she will flogged mercilessly and there will be no food for three weeks and you know what that means" I lamented .

Veronica is a very beautiful lady, she is my colleague in a local banking job, she just decided to check up on me, because she discovered I was absent in the office.

I didn't tell her that I will be absent, I have already planned to come to work but Jane instructed me not to wash her clothes and Damian clothes, the clothes was kept in a Big leather faded box that was hidden in one part of our sitting room, Jane loves keeping her clothes and Damian clothes for me to wash.

Since when my mom died when I was 10 years and my Dad brought another wife, I have lost my relationship with my father and Jane makes life miserable for me, always treating me anyhow, she treats me like an animal.

Veronica a Beautiful, stout, chubby with a dark blonde hair has been the one comforting me and she is a good friend of mine, there are pieces of advice that she has given to me, I do thank God that I have such a good friend, who understands me and gives good advice that always soothes my soul.

Jane has never given me rest of mind before, always giving me problems, my Dad always backed her and she turned him against me, I knew that she is a witch because she behaved like one.

"Babe," I turned my back towards her and we are looking at each other, Veronica packed her dark blonde hair with a purple bun, putting on a purple shirt and a white skirt, because that is one of the outfits we do put on during our working hours, always on cooperate wears.

She embraced me and she helped me to switch on the washing machine that I was using and I smiled at her.

"Veronica you didn't bother to knock, you just entered the house like that, how do you know that I am in the laundry place" I asked and I sat down on the chair and she sat opposite my chair.

Veronica smiles and her white teeth opened, showing satisfaction with the questions I asked her.

"Lydia I knew that you will be busy, because Jane always gives you voluminous work,I hope you are not angry that I didn't knock before entering,I am so worried about you and I don't want to know what is going with you" Veronica replied and she continues smiling and she makes herself comfortable on the brown cushion chair.

I went to get the remote for the television and I switched it on so as to watch Korean movies, because I knew that I have to entertain my friend, she loves Korean movies unlike me that likes watching cartoons and I responded to her question.

"Thanks for checking up on me, baby girl, thanks for all you do for me " I changed the channels to korean movies channels.

Lydia, "I want to gist you on what happened in the office today,do you know that one of our customers slapped our cashier" she retorted.

Where I was sitting,I was restless because I know that our cashier is a gentle, nice and hardworking lady.I,I wore an angry face when I heard it.

"How? Why ? _How can a customer slapped our cashier,that is ridiculous, some customers are heartless and wicked" I reacted negatively.

" Babe you didn't know that some customers are arrogant, and they don't know how to relate and treat bank officials,do they think we are being paid huge salaries,they didn't know that we are just managing ourselves by coming to the place of work, let me tell you something" she faced my direction and stared at me, she was no longer watching the television to show that she is serious with the discussion and she breaks the silence.

"Do you know that the last salary we got,I spent everything on my mom that was sick, you know that she is the only family I had ,since when Daddy died, and his family took all his properties away from us,mom has been the one taking care of me and my brother, so last week i took mom to St Andrew hospital in Mexico,a public hospital,they diagnosed that she has cerebellum malaria and the doctors requested for $8000 dollars, and you know that our salaries per month is $10000 dollars, I have to transfer the amount of money they used to treat mom and it remains $2000 dollars in my account". She complained.

I was so dejected and heartbroken when I heard of the ordeal that happened to her mother, Veronica and I have been friends since childhood,she was born in a wealthy family, but everything went down when her father died and his family took all the properties and since then they have been suffering from hardship, but her mom manages to send her to the college and she became a banker.

"Babe, I am so sorry for all these words that is coming from your mouth,I didn't know that you are facing such things, how is her body? I hope she is feeling ok? Have they discharged her from the hospital? I asked reluctantly.

She wasn't happy and she was sad

"Mom has... been discharged from the hospital and she is ok now,I took her home yesterday" ..... Veronica muttered,her voice has changed she was no longer happy and I pitied her.

Her voice cracked and she was down casted she no longer watch the television,her face was pale and worry was written over her face,I have never seen my friend in such a manner,i knew that this situation has overwhelmed her.

"Veronica, don't worry I understand your feelings,so did she has something to eat at home? I asked her.

"Babe the remaining $2000 in my hands I have spent it on food,I bought foodstuffs at home, but I came here to eat in your place, because if I eat out of the food,it won't be enough for us and I have to get another money, but you knew that we just received salary and we are going to get our next pay by June because we are in May and we are still in the middle of May,we still have a long way to go". She lamented.

I move closer to her and touch her arms and her worried cheeks and chin.

"Babe I want you to relax I understand you, I will try to cook for you, you will eat in the house, because Jane hasn't come home,she has gone to her grocery store where she sells things" I assured her .

Veronica move closer to me and she placed her arms on my arms and she placed her palm on my palm so as to show appreciation.

I smiled at her back so that she will change her mood,I don't like her putting on a worried face, because she is not always beautiful when she gets angry .

I pulled her cheeks and played with it

"Babe I want you to smile,I believe that all will be ok and fall into places at the right time, don't bother yourself, you are free to come to my place to eat when you need food,I am at your service all the time" i assured her.

Ok ,I am going to the kitchen,I went to the kitchen that was not far from the sitting room and I brought a large tray filled with Spanish rice and chicken and fruits,I knew that Veronica is famished and I know what she wants food right now,that is the solution to her problem right now.

We both went to the dining table and we ate our food and we gist,her countenance changed to me and she was forced to smile and laugh and I cracked jokes with her so as to change the discussion,she knows I am good at changing discussions,if it is not palatable to me.

Few minutes the door opened and the unexpected happen, someone we didn't expect came inside, she was so confused at us when she stared at us,the tall and beautiful figure move closer to us and stood in our front,we were so afraid when the figure was staring at us with a wicked grin .

Lydia pov

"I am so sorry ma, I don't know that you are coming, I gave her the food so as to quench her hunger, I sobbed, while kneeling down.

Jane was staring at me with a wicked strong face, she was standing with a strong and long cane .

When I look at her countenance, I know that I am doomed already, because Veronica has implicated me by eating the family food prepared by Jane.

Veronica was standing beside me, she was so remorseful because she knew that Jane had caught her red handed eating on the family dining table, because she knew that Jane doesn't tolerate nonsense and she is heartless and unmerciful.

Jane clutched the cane on the floor that was well painted with brown color and black stripes.

"How dare you bring your nuisance friend to my house, you don't even have fear at all, you have the audacity to give her my food", she moved away from my side and she went straight to the dining table and to look at the plate,the plate was filled with the remnants of Spanish rice and chicken,the table was filled with the food crumbs.

"Lydia ,I am going to kill you for committing this bad crime, and she faced Veronica squarely, she squeezed her face and smirk negatively

"You nasty and rubbish person, you killed your father with your dirty hands and you intentionally came and ate In my house, you brought your rubbish legs to my house,I don't know why you are so stupid for coming to my reputable house". Those sharp words come out from her mouth.

Veronica was crying and she was stretching her hands to Jane for pleading and she started stuttering.

"I am so sorry ma,I don't mean to come and eat in your house, and anyway I have eaten before coming here but Lydia decided to give me this food because it has been long I came to this house ", she was panting heavily and she spoke as if Jane wants to finish her on that spot.

She slapped Veronica and spat on her.

"Don't dare give me that filthy talk, you daughter of a nobody, now I have caught you so this is how you used to come visit my house,by eating all my food before I come back from the store", she asked angrily.

Veronica let out a sharp cry and she fell to the ground, she stood up,took her red bag, she rushed to the door and she left home.

" Veronica,I am so sorry for all I caused you, please don't be angry with me,we will see each other in the office tomorrow", I spoke and I was looking at the floor thinking about the punishment Jane will mete on me.

She came closer to me and spanked the cane on my head and she kicked my leg.

"I am so sorry .... ma.... such things won't happen again in this house,I promise you ma", I stuttered and I felt the pains from the cane she used on me.

"Ok you can stand up and take your seat", she told me.

My yellow blouse was drenched with all my tears,I managed to stand up and have my seat and I was staring at the floor.

Jane broke the silence and he asked me if maybe kelvin had come back from high school.

"Lydia has Kelvin come back from school, because I am expecting him,I don't know why he is so late from school, which type of rubbish school is that ", she complained.

I stop staring at the floor and I look at his eyes.I was surprised with those words coming out from her mouth.I know she doesn't know the type of son Kelvin is.

I coughed and I replied to those words that came from her mouth.

"Since afternoon, I haven't seen Kelvin,I know he has gone to school since morning,I don't know his whereabouts,I believe he will come home,just put your mind at rest ", I was trying to convince so that she will have a rest of mind and be positive. Jane's eyes were pale already,she hadn't eaten because she was expecting her son.

"Ma won't you go and eat, please try to be optimistic,I know that Kelvin will enter this house ", putting her mind at rest.

" Lydia! please keep that your dirty mouth shut, don't you know how it is for me not to have seen my son , this is 6:00 pm already,he hasn't come and you are telling me to go and eat" she yelled at me.

I noticed that she was worried and she was very confused and disheartening. Jane hasn't put on this attitude before.I don't know why she is behaving like this.I understand that she is very worried because of her son's whereabouts.

Jane stood up and started panting around the sitting room, just like a defeated lion.

"Ma why can't you just calm down, everything will be fine,I believe Kelvin will be ok,I want you to put your mind at rest,all will be well,I believe in God" I spoke positively .

Jane thrust one of her left fingers to the direction where I was, "don't ever tell me such things again, where did you keep my son, do you kidnap him or what, did you finish him", those bad rhetorical questions came out from her mouth.

I was so lost in thought, when I heard those words that came out from her mouth,my conscience started talking.

I know that I didn't do any bad things to Kelvin,I believe he is in safe hands, where he was right now .

After a few minutes we heard the screeching noise from the door and someone came in,a tall, handsome and cute guy with a faded white shirt and a green top that was stained and tattered,he was stranded and tired,he looked worn out,he collapsed on the floor.

Jane rushed down to his side to pull him up,she was so devastated seeing in such terrible circumstances.

"Kelvin where are you coming from? What happened to you?Why are your clothes so stained? Oh my God!! What happened to you? She questioned him repeatedly.

"Mum! I am so sorry,I follow my friend to a bar to take alcoholic drinks and we encounter some bad guys who want to bully us, when we are trying to defend ourselves by beating them,they overtook us and we ran away,I am sorry for coming at this late time,I decided to flex with my friends", kelvin was devastated and grief .

I was so surprised seeing in such a situation.I believe that all will be well with him.I know he is going to be safe, but Jane was panicking.

"Mum I am ok and fine,it's just that my clothes have stained and I have some cuts on my left knee", he said.

" See what you have put yourself into, Kelvin!!I sent you to school to study, not to go and make friends with bad gang members. I don't know when you start visiting bars and the ugliest part is that you are now drinking alcohol. Oh my God! When did you turn into this?? Jane was panicking.

I cut in, "step mom,let appreciate God that he is alive, hadn't all those boys killed him, what are we going to be saying today? I replied.

"Lydia! this boy is a rubbish person,he wants to kill me when I am alive,I am trying my efforts in bringing you up to the right way In this society,so that you will become a great person in life, but you want to turn yourself into a rogue and a useless boy to us in this house", Jane lamented.

My phone rings and a strange number called my number and I picked it.

" Hello, is that Lydia?

" Your father just died in a ghastly motor accident,we have taken him to the nearest hospital and they have taken to the mortuary,I got this number from his phone and I decided to call him,I saw your contact on it and I decided to dial it,he was coming from work,when he overtake a trailer and the trailer crushed his car" she spoke.

I was panting heavily when I heard those words.

"Ok which place is the hospital situated? I am coming right now". I replied to the caller.

" The hospital is situated in Lakewood city, the name of the hospital is St Andrews specialist hospital,it is by the roadside,it is easy to get ma" she spoke

Ok ma,I dropped my phone and I started sobbing.

Kelvin was crying where he was, because my Dad paid his school fees today,he was surprised he won't see his father again.

Jane was shivering,she was surprised when she heard the conversation between me and the caller,she came closer to me and she hold my shirt aggressively and pulled me up and threw me away,she is very agile and strong

"Eh eh what did you say happened to my sweetheart,ahhh Caleb is dead,why are all these evil things happening to me? Kelvin almost fell into the hands of a bad gang and my husband is dead.

After a few minutes Jane collapsed suddenly on the floor.

We don't know if she is dead or if she fainted, because she is no longer breathing.

Dave pov

Dave was flipping through the files on the table , he is the son of the richest Billionaire in the country, he is handling one of the wines companies, he has made his father proud by developing the company, his father decided to make him one of the CEO in Mexico, he is the youngest billionaire in Mexico through the help his father .

Dave made Billions of dollars in a week as income and his name is the number one richest in Mexico, he is popular and famous, but he is very arrogant and pompous.

Early in the morning Dave was doing something in his office and he called his secretary for something. He has employed a lot of secretaries. If he discovers that they don't obey him or they are clumsy, he will make sure he sack them.

"Nerissa! Nerissa!,I asked you to bring my coffee, but you have not bring,is there something wrong with you,I will fired you obnoxious lady" he yells at her

A tall and slim lady with a beautiful round face came out from her office and she came inside my office.

"I am so sorry sir,I was doing the job you gave me,that is the reason why, I was fixing something sir" she responded fearfully .

This is the third secretary I am going to have,I have sacked some secretary in the time past due to their job negligence or clumsiness, some of them do dress anyhow, Nerissa is very worst,if she didn't put clothes that show her breasts,she will put on gowns that shows her laps or hips,I always salivate myself whenever she puts on clothes.

"Do you have a problem?I have told you to always leave whatever things you are doing by attending to me,why are they so unserious?", I yelled at her .

I know that I am very arrogant and possessive and I am rude, due to my rich status

Nerissa was shivering,I yelled at her,I don't like her and I don't used to have closeness or friendship with ladies due to what they have done to me in the past,I don't want to have anything to do with ladies.

"Ok go and bring the coffee right now,it seems I will soon give you a sack letter,I will fire you,if you don't cooperate with me" I scared her.

Nerissa rolled his eyes at me and she got worried and said, when she heard those words I said.

She put her hands on my table and wanted to move closer to me,but I was staring at her.I am thinking of what I am going to do with her.

"What did you want to do? Why did you place your hands on my table? take your filthy hands off my table and go and do what I commanded you to do,I just threatened to sack you doesn't mean I will do it immediately,If you change from your clumsiness and you behave well to me,I will change my orientation towards you", i assured her.

Nerissa took her hands from my table and she bow to me and she Left,I was staring at her blue naked skimpy gown and black stiletto shoes as she was walking,I have seen all her panties and breasts,i don't know why she likes dressing like a stripper,i know you will be surprised of those words i am saying,i do visit bartender and I have seen a lot of stripper,they dress nakedly.

After a few minutes she came inside my office with a coffee and a coffee tray and I decided to interrogate her why she is dressing like a stripper.

She placed it on my table and she was ready to go and I stopped her from going.

"Nerissa! Why are you always dressed like this? I have observed since when I have been employed in this company, you are always dressing like a prostitute"I interrogated her.

She looked at my eyes and she was so surprised with those questions, and she kept quiet .

"Why are you standing there without not responding to me?That is the reason,I said you are too inactive and clumsy for my liking, answer my question ? I spoke aggressively.

"Ok I have a lot of reasons for dressing like this sir,it is a long story sir" she replied to me.

I was so anxious to hear her and I calmed down,I was no longer angry because I knew that she wanted to answer my question .

I smirk positively and I was waiting for response from her

"Sir I am a stripper!! She spoke

"What!! Are you telling me now that you are a prostitute?Oh God, why did you allow me to employ such an unfortunate lady as a secretary? I can't believe that you are a prostitute. How did you manage to become my secretary? I asked repeatedly.

She was shivering and sweating,my question was thunderous.

"Sir I am sorry that I am working here,I was a stripper in a bar but when I wasn't having customer,I decided to apply for a secretary job,a friend of mine told me you need secretary in your company,she said she saw the job application on social media and she informed me, please sir I am no longer doing it,it is just that I can't do without dressing half naked,i love my dress and I cherished it", she concluded.

I opened my mouth wide,I wasn't able to close it, how did I manage to employ a stripper in my company,my conscience spoke.

I broke the silence and lifted my brow and my eyes were red, just red like danger and I calmed my nerves.

" I smiled and I exclaimed positively,I grinned wow that is very nice, because I can't employ a stripper as my secretary, but why are you always dressing like this? I asked her and I scrutinized her dress from head to toe.

She noticed that I was staring at her,she took her eyes from the area and she was staring at the floor.

"I love dressing like this, because it makes me look hot and ok are you having issues with my dress? She asked me.

"Yes I am having issues with your dressing",I faced her squarely.

" Whenever you come to my office or I send you an errand for company transactions and projects, you always seduce me with your dressing,I don't like it at all,I am your Boss not your boyfriend, you don't have to come to my office dressing like a prostitute,as from today i want you to change your dressing,dress nice and moderately, not skimpy gown and transparent tight fitted gown" I declared politely .

Nerrisa opened her mouth wide,when she discovered that I spoke politely to her.I know that I am always harsh with her, whenever I discussed with her or called her about important issues in the office.

"Ok I will change my dressing as from today, thanks for accepting me the way I am" she spoke calmly .

" Ok lest I forget, why did you venture into prostitution," I was inquisitive.

" Sir, that discussion is personal to me,I don't think I can disclose it to you, don't be offended." She replied.

" Nerrisa,do you think I am joking you,I am asking you questions and you are telling me that you can't disclose it,do you want me to fire you" I yelled at her and twisted my fingers together showing signs of dissatisfaction.

"Hmmmmm....I ...am so sorry Sir,I will tell you the real details" she stuttered.

After a few minutes Rowland came to my office and he opened the door painting angrily in my office.

Rowland is my personal accountant,he is the one handling any money that they generate from the company.

"CEO!! CEO!! Something has happened to this company,I don't know what is happening? He was confused.

"Rowland what happened?? Why are they so disillusioned? "why are you not in your right senses,I haven't seen you behave Like this",I forgot about the discussion between Nerrisa and I faced Him, I want to know what happened to the company account.

"Sir, I checked the account this morning and I realized that the money has disappeared. When I calculated the money yesterday,it was $300 Billion dollars,but when I checked today,I found $ 100 Billion dollars ,I don't know who stole it", he spoke and he was angry and sad.

I was so surprised when I heard these words,I was very furious that I could kill anyone.

I stared at Rowland and stared at Nerissa and I yelled.

"Who took the money?? They were all staring at me.
