Chapter 1

I walk to get to the office. When I got to the right floor, I hurried to my table.

"Kimberly Mae Villafuerte, you're late again" Mam Chynthia raised her eyebrows while looking at me

"I'm so sorry mam" I scratched my head

"You know, if you weren't an efficient secretary, I would have fired you," he said laughing My smile widened because of what he said "Why are you so patient here at our company. You have the most successful company hija" I told you I want to stand and be successful on my own without using my parent's nor my brother's names"

"That's what I want from you. You are really so sure of what you want in life" he patted my shoulder.

"By the way, my son will be coming today. He'll take over now the company. So, he will be your new boss. Be nice to him, okay? And please bare with him when he's rude but knowing you? I know I won't fold you there" he said laughing.

"No worries mam. I'll handle him"

I went to my table and arranged my new boss's schedule. I never met the son of Mam Cynthia because he said he stayed in the US for several years. I was busy fixing my table when I noticed that my ring was missing.

Shit! It's all gone, don't do that!

I hastily looked back at everything I went through.

Kim, you are so careless!

I started crying because I couldn't find the ring. I was outside the building when something suddenly flashed. My eyes widened and I smiled when I saw that. I ran towards the ring but my smile disappeared when I saw someone step on it Oh ha! Don't step on that, you'll hit me! My eyebrows met as I looked at the man who stepped on my ring but I was stunned when I recognized the man in front of me now.

Suddenly, my chest started to tremble and my whole body went cold. I don't understand what I want to do. I don't know how to cry. The emotions I feel are mixed.

Until I found myself making my way towards the man standing. I felt my tears fall. I stood in front of him but he just stared at me. It rolled its eyes all over my face but it didn't react.

I was not able to contain myself. I wrapped my arms around her and hugged her very tightly. I quietly sobbed while hugging it. I stopped when he spoke.

"Excuse me miss, do I know you?" I looked up at him. Its eyebrows meet.

"It's me Damon, Kim" I asked in surprise but he didn't give me any reaction.

"I'm sorry but I don't know you" he said coldly.

"Damon" I turned to a beautiful woman walking towards Damon. When the woman got close, Damon hugged her tightly and kissed her on the cheek.

"I miss you, Kim" and he hugged the girl again. We agreed. I can not believe. It doesn't seem to recognize me.

Damon walked with my namesake girl away from me. I was left standing outside the building. My tears flowed.

He's okay. He's fine. For 8 years, I waited for him to come back because he said he would come back to me but why did he act differently? It's like he's not the Damon I used to be.

I sighed and picked up my ring that Damon had given me before. I looked at it and kissed it. This is the only thing he left me I went up to the office with a heavy heart.

"Hey, Kim, the new boss is here, Mam Cynthia has been looking for you for a while" I was brought back to reality because of what my co-worker said.

I fixed myself and knocked on the office. I opened the door and it seemed like I wanted to close it again because Damon was there next to the girl with my name.

I tried to smile at the people inside.

"Oh, here's my most efficient secretary. Come here Kim" Mam Cynthia called me "This is Damon and he will take over the company. So, starting now, he is your new boss" Mam Cynthia introduced me.

I swallowed and looked at Damon who just looked straight at me. There was no emotion in his face or eyes.

"Good morning sir" I greeted here.

"Good morning" he said sparingly and turned to the woman next to him.

I approached Mam Cynthia and whispered to her

"Son, is he yours?"

"Yes, hija. Why?"

"No. I'll stay outside. Just call me when you need something" I politely said goodbye to them.

I threw myself on the swivel chair. I turned it around while looking at the ring on my hand.

"I can't be wrong. He's my Damon. He's the one. My heart beats like this only for him. I'm sure"

I was able to sit when Mam Cynthia came out with the two. I gasped when they passed me. Damon didn't spare me a glance.

I felt irritation and pain in my heart. I don't understand what is happening.

I jumped out of the chair when Damon suddenly appeared in front of me. I swallowed before speaking.

"Yes sir?" I'm nervous to ask here

"May I have my schedule for this week" he asked formally

I handed him his schedule and when I got it, he turned me away. But before entering he turned to me.

"Another thing, do you have other names aside from Kim?" it asked

"Why sir?"

"My girlfriend's name is Kim. I don't want another Kim, so do you have any other name?" this is a serious question.

I stopped and bowed. Girlfriend? The girl was his girlfriend earlier. My heart felt like it was stabbed. I took a deep breath before looking at him again.

"My full name is Kimberly Mae Villafuerte" I said holding back tears

"Okay. I'll call you Kimberly" he said and closed the door At the same time as the door closed, my tears fell. I feel a strange pain. Does he have a girlfriend? Why doesn't he seem to remember me?

Damon. What happened to you ?......

"Kim, you're late again" shouted our captain.

"Sorry, my older brothers are slow" I scratched my head before entering the van I'm the only one missing. When we arrived at Xavier University there were a lot of people. First basketball game today against our school, Mckinley University.

"Captain, where is the cr here?"

"Dun. Hurry up and we'll be ready"

"Miss" I stopped going out. It walked closer to me. I was taken back by what it did. He stopped in front of me and he smirked at me.

"Before you throw stones, first check if the cr you entered is correct" he said and pointed to the signage on the door.

My eyes widened when I saw that I was in the male restroom. I closed my eyes and bit my lip because of my stupidity. I heard his soft laugh because of my reaction. I was surprised to hear her laugh. I'm only up to the man's shoulders. I don't know why I suddenly got nervous when our eyes met.

But my heart lost even more when it came closer to me. I leaned against the wall and the man rested his arm on the wall. I was about to kiss her neck when she got closer because there were groups of men who suddenly entered the restroom. It seems that it hides me from the new classes.

"Hey! That's not allowed! You're really prickly Damon" they hit him on the shoulder but he didn't turn around because he was hiding my face from it. His broad shoulders and chest blocked my face I felt a rush of electricity when he suddenly grabbed my arm to pull me out of the men's cr. When we got out, I quickly ran away from it and when I was quite far away, I turned to him and shouted." I smiled and waved at it before running back to my companions.

When I came back they were fixing it. I quickly joined the warm up. I participate in cheerdance. I was one of the flyers and we were the opening.

The shouts and screams of those inside the court were very loud. He cheers them on in their bet groups. The buzzer has sounded to signal that the game is about to start. I shook my whole body to get rid of the nervousness and when our group's name was called, we ran to the middle with all out smiles Even though I was very nervous, I forced myself to smile with all my teeth. I remember all the routines in my mind so as not to make mistakes. Counting in the mind so as not to make a mistake.

Our routine was about to end when I noticed Thalia who was my fellow flyer. He suddenly pulled me down even though I wasn't even counted.

Shit!

I didn't do anything when I misstepped and fell because even my catchers weren't ready. I feel the pain because of what Thalia did. I continued with the routine even though my foot hurt a lot. I still smiled and when the performance ended, I winced.

My catchers approached me. They showed concern but I just smiled. They support me until I can sit.

"What is it Thalia?! Do you suspect Kim?" Coach said angrily

"Sorry, the number was wrong" he said bowing

"Sorry, Kim got a sprain!"

"It's fine coach" I said here so as not to scold Thalia, maybe it wasn't really intentional.

I took a deep breath when I tried to move my leg but it really hurt.

I adjusted my seat and looked up. When I raised my head, we immediately saw a man named "Damon" that I saw earlier in restroom. He was sitting on the other side of the court because they were our school's opponent.

We stared at each other for a while before he spoke without a voice.

"Does it hurt?" he mouthed the word to me. When I understood that, I gave an okay sign and smiled at him to say that it was okay.

He shook his head and smiled slightly. My heart tickled when I saw her smile.

"Kim" caught our coach's attention.

"Just go to the clinic first so you can rest your feet"

I nodded at this. Some of my squad mates joined me to support me on the walk. When I was about to leave the door of the court, I looked in Damon's direction again. That's how fast my heart beat when I saw that he was still looking at me. It seemed to lead me with its gaze. I couldn't stop smiling at him and my heart just dropped when I saw him smile back at me.

My squad mates left me at the Xavier clinic and since there was nothing to do, I just slept. I woke up when I felt someone kiss my forehead. Opening my eyes, I immediately saw Brother Vincent.

"I told you not to join that stupid cheerdance" he said annoyed.

"Brother, everyone experienced a sprain. Don't get OA"

Brother Vincent helped me stand up and helped me out. When we went out, I saw Brother Ethan but I was surprised by what he was talking to now. Damon. Damon and I immediately met our eyes because of this, Brother Ethan also looked at me. They both approached Brother Vincent and me. Brother Ethan immediately kissed my hair while Brother Vincent and I patted Damon's shoulder.

"Next time you break, you're gonna quit" Brother Ethan said gruffly.

Chapter 2

"If I quit, then you two quit the basketball too. Deal?" I challenged them with a smile. My two older brothers quickly looked away.

"Are you okay?" I lost my smile when I heard Damon's voice.

"Yeah. It's normal in cheerdance" I answered here sparingly.

"That's nice to hear" he smiled at me.

I was surprised when Brother Vincent lightly punched Damon's chest.

"Stupid, I know your moves" he said with a smile

"What?" Damon's eyebrows meet.

"Kim is the youngest in the triplets, Damon so just get ready now"Brother Ethan threatened.

I understood what they were saying so I quickly hit them because I was the one who felt ashamed of what they were saying.

"Stop! You're embarrassing me!" I said weakly. My friends just laughed at me.

"We have to go" Brother Ethan said goodbye

I clung to Brother Vincent's arm for support.

"Okay. See you next game Kim" Damon said. I turned to him, the smile on his lips was so beautiful. I don't understand my feelings, I even beat running a marathon with the speed of my heart.

"Kim, stop staring. You're blushing" I closed my eyes before I hit Brother Vincent hard for what he whispered. My brothers just laughed at me

"I hate you two!!" I yelled at them in annoyance.

"And we love you too" they said together.

Even though my feet hurt, I forced myself to walk ahead of my two brothers out of shame.

I hold onto the wall for some kind of support. I stopped when Brother Vincent sat with his back turned.

"Hop in Kim" Brother Ethan said and put a jacket on my shoulders that reached my legs due to its size. I'm still wearing our cheerdance uniform.

I frowned as I rode behind Brother V. He gave me a piggyback ride.

"Kim if someone tried to hit on you, can you not?" Brother Vincent said seriously "Why? Brother" I put my chin on Brother V's shoulder.

"We're not yet ready Kim" Brother Ethan answered. I smiled at what he said

"I'll be the one to have a relationship, not you," I answered laughing

"What if they make you cry? Or just hurt you? Can you take it?"

"Brother, isn't being hurt part of love? How can you say you love the person if you can't be hurt? They say you know it's true when it hurts"

"Kim, not all love can hurt you. Other love can make you whole, can make you complete and that's the kind of love we want you to experience,"Brother Ethan explained "You're too precious for us Kim. That's why we don't want you to get hurt because it will hurt us more. Love when you know you're ready" advised Brother Ethan.

I smiled at what my older brothers said.

"Even though you always tease me, I still really love you. Don't worry brother if I have a boyfriend I will make sure he is like you and Papa. You set the standard so high" I said smiling to them

"Good girl" my twins said at the same time.

"Let's go Kim" my two older brothers put their arms around me entering Mckinley. As usual, we are getting attention again, especially the two men next to me.

"Isn't that skirt long enough Kim?"Brother V's eyebrows met when I came out of the cr wearing the cheerdance uniform. Today is the 2nd game and the match will be held here.

"What do you expect me to wear pajama brother?" I laughed and said this

Brother V scratched his hair in annoyance while Brother Ethan laughed at him.

"There's nothing you can do. You know nothing can stop Kim"

"Wear that and don't mess with your body!" Brother Ethan threw me a jacket. I just put it on so the conversation wouldn't go on.

When we arrived at the court, there were already many people and everyone was cheering. Since it hasn't started yet, I took out my cellphone first, when I went to the messenger, there was a message request. I opened it but I raised my eyebrows when I saw the message

"Nice and body. Wanna go out?" Montero from Xavier

My head got hot from what I read. I quickly approached Luna who is my best friend.

"You know Montero?" I ask here

I didn't finish what Luna was going to say. I marched closer to the other side of the court. I touched the one wearing the red shirt just like that, I was disappointed when Damon's face appeared to me.

I can see people's surprise at what I did. Luna hit me quickly.

"Tang*, Salvador is the one you approached. The one next to him is Montero" he said laughing

"What!" I said softly "You didn't say!!!" I'm annoyed with this question "Girl, you didn't let me finish. A red shirt with a towel on the shoulder is what I should say if you're excited"

I got wet on my forehead because of what I did. I slowly looked in Damon's direction. I saw him jumping and jogging in his place to ease the pain of what I did.

I immediately felt guilty for what I had done.

My heart suddenly skipped a beat when Damon suddenly looked at me. I didn't know what to do so I just gave him the peace sign and hesitated with a smile. The man just made me suffer.

The game started and my conscience was really eating me because of what happened. I was biting my lip because of the nervousness and conscience of what I had done. The buzzer rang meaning the 1st half was over. I can see how tired Damon is. It's sweaty and sweaty. He sat down on the chair and looked up. He was given a bottled water. He used it up quickly. I held my breath.

It's hard to persuade!

The buzzer sounded to signal the start of the 2nd half. The match was tight because the scores were close. We stood up every time our school had a shootout and booed when Damon's team got revenge.

In every shoot we do, Damon reciprocates that immediately. I don't know if I'll be upset because we can't believe them or happy because he plays so well.

I panicked when I saw that Damon was going to fall in my direction because he was chasing the ball. I quickly blocked my two palms on my chest and closed my eyes to catch Damon. For a few seconds, I didn't feel anything like someone ran over me, which is why I opened my eyes, which I immediately regretted because Damon's handsome face opened up to me, smiling while chewing mint bubble gum. I can smell its hot and fragrant breath because of the mint bubble gum. His two hands rested on the back of my chair so that his body wouldn't completely fall on me

My eyes widened when I saw him winking at me. I don't understand what I'm feeling right now. It even brought itself closer to me. I feel his mouth over my ear "You're blushing Kim" he said and laughed with a hoarse voice

The buzzer sounded. It means someone called a time out. Damon quickly separated from me and ran back to the other side of the court. I just looked at its wide back running.

"Hey what's that!" Luna hit me

"Which?" I turned to him

"Girl, you almost reached the sky! You can kiss him with just one move! If it was me, I would have grabbed him. That's Damon Salvador, are you still choosy" she said excitedly

I saw Damon crossing the court and heading in my direction. I quickly looked away and hurriedly put my things away "I'll go first" I said to Luna, I was only one step away when a warm hand grabbed my arm. I immediately took it back because I felt electricity from his hands.

I turned to Damon who now raised his eyebrows and was staring at me

"What?" I asked a few questions because I saw that most of the people in the court were looking at us

"I think you owe me an explanation for doing your stunt earlier" he said seriously

"Fine. Can we do it outside? I'm not comfortable. They are looking at us" I said softly.

Damon looked at the people in the court. When he looked back at me, he nodded. I walked first and he was behind me. There are many going out the door. I retreated when the people in front of us suddenly started to fight.

My back leaned against Damon's chest and I was just so nervous when I felt Damon's hand on my waist to support me "Are you okay?" it looked at my face

I swallowed hard and just nodded. I arranged with us because I couldn't hold our position for long. I breathed a sigh of relief when we got outside the court. I took Damon to a gazebo that was empty. I sat down while Damon just stood.

"So, you kick me because?" it folded its arms while leaning against the pillar of the gazebo.

"It's because someone messaged me and then when I asked who Montero was, you were pointed out," I explained here

"Montero? Why? What did you say?"

I took out my cellphone. I was surprised when he suddenly sat next to me. I looked at him while he was busy looking at my phone.

I showed Montero's message to me

"Asshole" he said annoyed "Did you reply?" This question raises an eyebrow.

"Hmm just reply" I answered here. I was surprised when he took my cell phone and something was fiddling with it.

"Blocked" he said and handed me the cellphone. Montero's name is on my chin and I can't even see it. "Don't reply to anyone Kim" it reminded me.

I nodded like a child at what he said. Silence prevailed over us after what he said. That's why I felt more nervousness in my chest. I bit my lip because I don't know what to do, I feel because it's so loud that Damon will hear it "Stop" Damon suddenly said. I turned to him.

"Stop biting your lip Kim" he looked at my lips and immediately looked away. I let go of biting my lip.

"Why?" I asked curiously

He looked at me before smiling.

"You'll find it out when you repeat that with me" he said laughing before leaving me alone in the gazebo. I did nothing but watch him walk away from me.

I held my heart. I don't understand why Damon has this effect on me.

Chapter 3

"Yes, this is life" I smiled while walking in the big oval. This is my "me time". I'm the only one who doesn't have a nagging twin, no one to make noise, no one to tease.

I smiled as I put the wooden spoon of ice cream I was eating in my mouth. I smile every time I hear children's giggles. I love children, maybe because I'm the youngest, so that's why I love children "Kim?" I turned to the speaker. I was immediately overwhelmed when I recognized the person who called my name. Jero.

"See?" we both turned to Jero who now had his arms folded and a big smile on his face.

I broke away from Damon and headed straight. I gave him a hard time and took a deep breath before confessing.

Bwiset! Because Damon has become my prospect! If it's someone else I can pretend but if it's him I can't because my heart is beating him!

"What do you need with my girl?" I didn't finish what I was going to say when Damon suddenly grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him. I looked up to him because of what he did.

Hey Damon Salvador!!! You scene!!!

I felt weak in the knees when I felt his warm body against me so I grabbed his chest and arms for support. I can't see anything but his handsome face. I don't hear anything either. I just looked at his moving lips.

He stared at me before smiling

"I'd rather be with you than with them" the smile on my lips disappeared because of what he said. My heart beat even faster. Because of the nervousness, I chose to walk to the street food stall.

I immediately salivated at the food I saw. Quail eggs, Kikiam, Fishball, Siomai, Dos Tres.

I went to May Dos Tres. I immediately took two sticks and dipped them in the vinegar. I closed my eyes when I saw that. Its taste is really a winner. I opened my eyes and saw Damon's reaction.

"What? Don't tell me you don't eat it?" I ask here

He just shook his head at me and looked at what I was eating

"Oh my gosh! The sadness of your childhood brad" I said laughing here

I took a stick and put it in his mouth. I smiled when he slightly moved his head away "Say aaahhh" I teased here

"Kim" he said annoyed while taking my hand away from his mouth.

"Arte" I snorted and lowered my hand.

Damon took a deep breath before looking at me. It frowned.

"Fine" it said annoyed. He held my hand and put my stick in his mouth. He bit the small part of the food.

I couldn't understand my feelings when I felt his hand on my wrist. I'm nervous, I don't know. I feel like I want to pee.

"This is actually nice" he said and completely took the stick from me. It was only then that I finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Damon was very good at eating dos tres. I have five sticks.

"Damon" I slapped his arm "go away! I'll make you pay for that" because it almost finished the cooked food.

Damon stopped and narrowed his eyes at me

I just realized what I said. What will you see? What is a date??? And why does it seem like I initiated it?! Aarrggghhh Kim!!!!!

"I mean, next time if we meet again" I made an excuse for this. I avoided looking at Damon because my heart was beating like a fool again.

Suddenly my cell phone rang. I answered that right away.

"Where are you?" Brother Ethan and Brother V's eyebrows meet in the video call.

"Aahh secret" I said smiling to them.

"Tell us where you are. We'll fetch you" said Brother Ethan.

"I'm..."

"We're on a date Villafuertes" I was surprised when Damon suddenly came to the back and joined the video call. Because he is tall, he had to bend slightly to see on my phone screen. He almost put his chin on my shoulder.

"Asshole! Who said you can date!! Kimberly Mae, stay away from there" Brother V said angrily.

"I'll see you Damon, you'll really taste me" Big Brother Ethan threatened.

Damon just laughed at them. I could feel the warmth of his breath laughing in my ear and cheek. I turned to him.

Wrong move!

When I turned, he turned too. We both widened our eyes when we realized how close our faces were to each other. Our noses are almost touching because of the closeness.

My heart seemed to have a battalion of rats because of the trepidation I felt.

"You d*ckhead! I'm gonna punch you real hard if you kiss my brother in a public place" Brother V said angrily

Damon and I pulled away from each other when we realized that my older brothers were watching us. Damon smirked and scratched his head. I can't even look at him.

"Get home Kimberly Mae or we'll fetch you with a metal bat" said Brother Ethan

"Fine. Fine. My handsome brothers are going home" I said to them.

Silence filled the atmosphere when I hung up. It's awkward!!

"Aahh, it's my first time. I'm looking for it" I said goodbye to Damon and quickly turned around.

"I'll bring you" he quickly offered

I turned to him and smiled.

"What? I'll just deliver you, don't be an issue" he said and slightly pushed my forehead with his index finger before walking first.

I smiled even more and he touched my forehead. I closed my eyes and bit my lip because of the thrill I felt.

I took a deep breath before following him. We stopped in the parking lot and he came across a big single motor bike. I quickly walked closer to it

"Don't tell me you'll take me there?"

"Edi no" he said laughing. I hit him on the arm. "I'll just slow down, don't worry"

"My Brother will kill you when you bring me home riding there"

"Let's see then" he said and pulled me closer to him. I was stunned by what he did. He slowly put on me the spare helmet he brought. He was busy locking my helmet so I could freely stare at his handsome face. I was brought back to reality when he tapped my helmet. He got on the motorcycle and helped me ride too.

"It's slow," I reminded her.

Just laugh it off. I hugged him tightly when he suddenly sped up.

"Aaahhhh Daaaamooooonnn!!! Oh my goshh!!! I'm gooonnnaaa ddiiieee" I shouted as he revved the motor. He didn't answer me anything but just laughed as if he was happy with what was happening to me.

I finally hugged him for fear of falling. I closed my eyes and rested my chin on his shoulder because of the fear I felt. I don't know if it's because of fear or because of Damon's presence that my heart is losing.

Damon's pace slowly slowed down so my eyes widened. I saw that we were close to the house and my twins were standing outside the house.

They approached us when the motor stopped. Brother Ethan is helping me get down. Brother V took off the helmet I was wearing and jokingly punched Damon in the arm, and Brother Ethan did the same.

"You're a real jerk! One more escape from our brother will give you a real blow" Brother Vincent said laughing

"Let me know if your ID date is not the one running away. You can bring it later" said Brother Ethan

"Noted. I'll let you know on our next date" Damon said laughing. My cheeks immediately got hot because of what he said. He looked at me. His smile is really beautiful.

He started his motor. He looked at me again.

"Bye, babe" he said with a wink before driving the motorcycle.

"Babe?!!!!" my brothers shouted at the same time. I closed my eyes in annoyance at the thought of him leaving me in front of the two after what he said I shouted at him. He just waved while driving.

"Kimberly Mae???? What babe????" Brother V asked

I held my breath. Long time to explain it again. That's what happened. They asked a lot of questions before I entered the room.

After entering the room I lay down on the bed. Staring at the ceiling. I smiled remembering Damon's smiles. Little by little the heart beat faster

What have you done to me Damon?!
