In Love With Alpha Jake

I walked through the University's hallway in a hurry, it was quiet and I wanted to be in my room as soon as I can since I was avoiding a dreadful gang in campus.

I was very scared and trying to avoid Bryan and his friends, who would not let me have a moment of peace as I always got bullied by them.. I have not had a moment of peace since I stepped into this prestigious university I had always dreamed of coming to, but now it seemed like a nightmare.

The other day, they practically waited for me while I was walking home, took some of my valuables and beat me up. Bryan pushed me to the ground while Jack and Elena; his gang members beat me up and threatened me not to speak to anyone about it.

Disregarding their threats, I reported them to the school authority but nothing seemed to be done. Those three were like the most brilliant and well behaved in the school, so the school authorities did not believe me. They felt I was just being jealous of their progress and trying to sabotage their reputation but deep down, I knew what I was experiencing.

"Stop right there" I heard Elena's voice say. I could recognise the coarse nature or her voice, I froze on hearing her speak. I was done for, I felt they were going to kill me that night.

I slowly turned around to see the three of them, my very nightmare. "Are you trying to run away from us pretty one? " Bryan mocked as he laughed in a wicked manner and forcefully snatched my bag, pushing me to the ground.

"Stop........ Please stop, I have valuables in there" I groaned as my eyes changed. I was just trying to get used to my werewolf abilities, but they were way stronger than me. They believed I was from a very low pack, so had no one to fight for me.

Elena growled at me fiercely, exposing her long teeth like she wanted to eat me up, held my well packed pony tail hair and threw me to the ground.

Bryan laughed wickedly and he scouted through my face with his small eyes. "Well, we will see" a wicked smile tucked on the corner of his lips. He looked at me again like I meant nothing and threw my bag to Jack, who caught it like a professional.

"Please.... Don't" I pleaded but was interrupted with the most piercing slap ever across my face. It was Elena again, the only female in the gang.

"What do you want? Why have I done to you?" I stammered. "Shut up, don't you dare" she tried to keep me quiet.

"Bryan, indeed there are goodies in this bag" He laughed again, looking towards my direction and then at Jack. "Wow, good. Let me see" he said as he walked towards Jack and Elena followed.

My bag contained some doritos I got from the mall, I loved to have doritos whenever I was reading or even going through some stuffs on social media. But now, it was all gone. They took everything and threw my empty back on the floor.

I was grateful enough that I did not put my phone in the bag. I was holding it when they attached me, and hid it in my pants immediately I heard their voices and footsteps. I am sure they would have taken it too. I had lost three good cell phones to this gang in just two months of being in the school.

But I had to get help anyhow, even though no one believed that I was being bullied by a gang led by Bryan. Not even my room mate, Alicia.

My school was one populated by humans, Werewolf and even vampires and everyone treaded their path carefully.

The first time I saw a vampire's teeth was in the school, I almost went mad with fear since I had seen such only in movies. I thought it was fiction and never existed until I witnessed it myself.

Most of the students; including me loved to stay in the library till midnight reading. I was buried deeply in my chemistry textbook when I heard a growl.

I looked at my class mate Helen and she did the same. "What was that? " I asked, almost urinating on myself. "Oh, its nothing. I think one of the wolf student is shifting shape, they usually do when there is a full moon. Would you like to see? " She asked like she was already used to seeing such.

My class mate was a human who loved werewolf and their vibes, mostly those who were partly vampires but didn't know I was a Werewolf, I hid it so well from her, it was a deep secret no one knew about me.

I swallowed hard but was also inquisitive to see what was happening. "Ye.... Yes, I would love to see" I stammered. I looked around to see that none of the students shook, they kept on with what they were using. They were used to such occurrences, I guess.

She held my hand and carefully led me to the glass window where I saw a wonder, that I has never seen before. The creature was transforming fast, part of his body was still man and part was wolf.

I tried to scream but my class mate motioned me to stay quiet which I did. "These creatures have different communities they belong to, they are called packs and are led by powerful leaders" she said and I just nodded.

"There is one very famous one led by a well known billionaire's son" she said casually. " What... What is the name of the pack?" I asked casually. I didn't want her to suspect anything.

"Everyone knows about it. It's the MoonStone pack" she said as her eyes literally pierced though me. "But wait a minute, why do you ask? Are you also one of his crush?" she teased me and I giggled.

I smiled when I heard that there was a powerful pack. I sure needed help and now I knew exactly where and how to get it, I smiled as I picked my bag from the ground and headed home. I would probably meet the leader of the Moonstone pack for help, I needed the bullying to stop and right then.

I didn't want to continually be or live in fear, so I had to stop their oppression before they kill me one day. As I walked home, I made up my mind to do everything it takes to meet the leader of the MoonStone packs.

I would ask Alicia-my room mate since she knows most of them. I once heard her talking about the same pack and how the leader was a very handsome billionaire's son. I walked with boldness as I made my way back home.

Alicia was one of the most popular girls in my school, she could be termed a celebrity. Probably because she was a cheer leader and very pretty too. Her fair, clean skin couldn't be unnoticed and her blonde hair did the magic accompanied with her pointed nose and her well cut face. She was practically the only name on every guy's lips.

I got home and fortunately for me, Alicia was in the room but she was resting. "Hi", I said as I walked across the room to the restroom to free myself from what has been stuck in my system. I heard my roomie replied faintly, she was obviously tired.

I made up my mind to ask her for details of the pack she had spoken about the previous day when she is fully awake. I decided to have a bath to cool off in the hot afternoon.

I came out of the bathroom and saw her staring into the space, it was so unusual of her. "Are you okay? Alice? " I asked her and she nodded her head, forcing a smile.

"I would love to talk to you about something" I sat close to her after putting on some loose clothes. "Shoot " she said, expecting to hear what I wanted to say.

"I know you don't believe I am being bullied by Bryan and his friends, but it's okay. I have decided that such treatment should stop" I said to Alicia who looked at me in amazement.

I paused for a while and then continued. "I need the contact of one of the leaders of a powerful pack, the one you spoke about in particular " I said with a firm voice. Alicia looked at me, her eyes popped out and her mouth thrown open.

"What for? " She asked me. "Do not worry, I will tell you later. Just tell me the name of the pack and where I can find them" I uttered again.

"Alright, " she said as she reached out to a pen and a little paper and scribbled something on it. "Here you go" she said. "Thanks" I smiled as I collected the paper. I would visit after school tomorrow.....

The sound from my alarm kept buzzing and ringing in my head but I was too tired to get up, I sluggishly turned it off and went back to sleep.

The alarm rang again ten minutes later, I frowned but managed to sit up even though I was still feeling sleepy. I picked up my wristwatch by my bedside and looked at it, it was 6:00am already.

I jumped up, the sleep immediately clearing up from my eyes. I had a class scheduled for 7:00 a.m. and I was almost late, just had an hour to prepare for school. I also had plans to visit the MoonStone pack after my classes that day.

I rushed inside the bathroom to have a quick shower, quickly sorted my clothes and was about to put on some clothes when I realised that my roommate was still sleeping heavily. In fact, she was snoring loudly and I am sure our neighbours heard her snore.

I glanced at her and tried to wake her up but something stopped me. Wasn't my business, so I shrugged and continued putting on my clothes.

I dressed up quickly and was ready to leave. I checked the time again and realised I was not kate so I stood in front of the standing mirror to see how I looked, I could not help but admire my beautiful self.

I looked dashing in my knee-length gown that clung to my body, bringing out all my curves. I allowed my black, long hair to relax on my back. I smiled at my reflection as I was looking stunning and my make up was on point, I adjusted what needed to be adjusted and got out.

I am a moderate, caramel-skinned woman with curves in the right places. I am about 5'8 feet tall and have an oval-shaped face, cute lips which I always applied lip gloss and a well carved nose.

I got to class and heads started turning when I entered, I liked the attention I was getting. I could hear whispers of some students discussing about me, how hot I was looking. Even Mr. Fred, the history lecturer could not help but stare at me. He followed me right inside the class.

The class was so noisy. It was filled with a group of young people, Brian included. I got a little bit nervous when I saw him. He noticed I was nervous and looked at me in a very scary way.

I wondered what he was doing in my class when Helen motioned for me to stay calm, she noticed I was nervous as well. I wanted answers, I wanted to know what Bryan was doing in my class.

I waited in school after the day's classes. I wanted to make my journey to the MoonStone Estate at night since I didn't want anyone to know about my plans apart from Alicha who had given me the address.

I set out at exactly 9pm, I knew it was risky but I would rather face it and take the steps involved rather than to continue being bullied.

"Ahhhhhh" I heard a female voice scream. It felt like someone was in trouble and I was literally scared, so much so that I literally peed slightly in my pants. The scream sent chills down my spine and I fastened my steps. I started walking very fast, then the sound came again. I didn't know what to think anymore, so I started running, then I saw a big black beast run past me.

I haven't seen any animal this big in my entire life. It's speed was so fast and when it ran past, it looked at me. I saw its eyes and it was green and fierce, I was terrified now.

To make things worse, it stood right in front of me and growled at me. I was frightened now, who would save me from this vicious animal. Is this how I would die?

"Please, don't hurt me" I pleaded. Immediately, it ran away leaving me to myself. I looked around with my heart almost in my mouth and there was no one around, I continued running.

I ran until I got to the address given to me. There was a big door which I ran to and banged on the door as my life depended on it.

Luckily for me, it was not locked when I pulled the door knob but I didn't want to go inside uninvited. I knocked again and a very fine black boy opened the door.

"Are you okay? Why are you running like you are being chased by a ghost?" He uttered as I quickly got inside the house.

"I.... I am fine" I stuttered, breathing heavily. "Okay" He said. "How can I help you?" his big eyes pierced through my very thoughts, like he could see through me. I knew werewolves had the ability to hear thoughts, though I don't understand why I am seeing a black boy instead of white as described.

"I want to see Alpha Damien" I finally spoke with the last courage I had gathered. The young man was astonished with my request.

"What did you say?" He asked fiercely. "I said I want to see the leader of the Moonstone pack" I uttered again with so much boldness that showed that I wasn't scared.

"Well, He is not available " he said as he banged the door but before he could take another step, I intercepted him.

"But, that's not true. I heard he is usually around by this time, that's why I came here this night" I said. "Well, I cannot help you. Sorry" He said and left me outside by that time.

I looked around and did not know what to do. I was also scared that big animal may come back so I decided to knock again. I knocked on the door again and this time, a white guy came out.

"Hi, I am Vivian" I greeted him. The guy was very handsome and fit all the descriptions I was given about the Alpha of the MoonStone pack.

"Hello" I greeted him and he managed a smile.

"Are you Alpha Damien? " I asked.

"Yes, how may I help you?" he looked at me, he wasn't smiling.

I became a bit unstable when I heard his voice. He seemed to be in a hurry and wanted me to speak fast.

"Okay, I need your help" I said to him and he gave me a weird look. "The thing is that, I have been getting bullied in school and I need help" I uttered again.

"Am I the school authority? You should report to the school head and not come to me for help" He said. "I have reported them but no one believes me," I interrupted him. He looked at me for a few seconds and did not utter a word. "How did you even find this place? You only have this access because this is my apartment in school. Anyway, I cannot help you" he shrugged and banged the door on me.

I heard he is rude, I also heard he can be nice sometimes but I could not tell anymore with what I was seeing, maybe he was having a bad day. But one thing is sure, I was not ready to leave Alpha Damien's location without getting answers or getting his assurance that He would protect me.

I could not leave without getting a positive response, I checked my wristwatch and it was 12am. I needed to finish up with what I came for and leave before different creatures will start coming out.

I banged on the door again and this time, it was more severe. "What is wrong with you" I heard a groan as the Alpha stormed out. I was quite scared when I saw his long teeth by the side and the change in his eye colour.

"I... I am sorry, I just need help. I need you to protect me from the people bullying me and oppressing me, I have no moment of peace" I explained to him.

"Alright, I will protect you" He said to me. "Oh, thank you" I made to hug him but stopped when I saw how he looked at me. "I.... I... am sorry" I stammered.

"I will protect you on the condition that you will be my slave" he tucked a weird smile on the corner of his lips.

My countenance changed when I hear that. "Slave" I repeated what I just heard. "Yes" he responded.

I thought for a while and then made my decisions. "It is better to be a slave to Alpha Damien than to be bullied continuously" I finally responded to him.

"I need you to think this through because this means, you no longer have freedom to do what you like. You must ask me before you do anything, even the way you dress have to change. And before having a boyfriend, you have to consult me. If I like the boy, you can go ahead but if not you cannot" he smiled again.

"Does it also mean that I cannot live in my apartment anymore? " I asked him. "No......, you obviously cannot move in with me, I have a lot of guys living with me. You can retain your apartment but have to report here after school everyday" He said.

"Okay, I accept" I said to him. I guess I was not thinking, I just needed someone to save me. "Then, we have a deal. Come get some clothes tomorrow, there is a way I want you to dress now. I also need you to know that my eyes will he on you from now on and I, Alpha Damien, leader of the MoonStone pack will do all it takes to protect you.

"Thanks" I said and left. I kept thinking about our conversation until I got home and I realised I had just put myself in a box, I no longer had my freedom.

It was a weekend and Alicia informed me of a night party in the school, she really wanted me to go with her since she didn't want to go alone, she didn't want to be lonely at the party.

At first, I didn't want to go. I was also scared Alpha Damien would want me to be around him, that's how it has been for days.

I would go to his apartment after school and he would tell his driver to drive us around and we would talk over a nice dinner. So I was scared Alpha Damien would not let me go.

I informed Alicha I would be busy but she wouldn't listen, she insisted I also come. I took excuse from Alpha Damien and he obliged me.

The party was slated for 9pm. My room mate gave me a nice dress to wear and did a nice make over for me.

We got into Alicia's car and drove to the venue. It was a dope party and I was sure a lot of weird things would happen that night. We got to the club and saw boys and girls kissing in different corners of the club, some girls were nude but had their mask on.

I was not comfortable but decided to stay a little bit because of my friends. Everyone there were all students of the school. We got seats, my roommate lit her cigarette and started smoking while she ordered a bottle of non-alcoholic wine.

She knew I would not take it if it was alcoholic. I poured out some into my glass and hers as well as I looked around to see that there was a guy who didn't have anyone sitting with him and who was not smoking either. He just sipped from his glass of wine and pressed his phone.

I could not help but notice how handsome he looked in his black shirt and jean trousers. Our eyes met and I looked away.

I looked around again and my eyes caught some people romancing while some were still kissing and touching each other. My room mate had gotten herself a dance partner so I focused on my drink and continued sipping from my glass.

Growing up in a very sane home where my mum was a disciplinarian and also showered I and my sister with so much love, I couldn't bring myself to do some of the things these young people were doing. We lost my dad in a clash between our small Starline Pack and another pack when I was seven, it was a very devastating and tragic experience and was not easy to get used to his absence.

My father was the leader of that pack and he was killed along-side his men, we left that village and have not returned since then. My mother made up her mind to protect us, That was one reason I did not want anyone to know that I was from the bloodline of a werewolf.

With time, Vera and I gradually recovered from the shock but the scar was still there, I still cry sometimes when I remember how I lost my dad.

My mum took over my dad's business and refused to remarry, she raised us as a single mum and made sure we lacked nothing, I mean nothing. I missed her though and cannot wait to see her soon. I was still in deep thoughts when I heard a male voice.

"Hello , I am Jake" he said stretching forth his hand for a handshake. I realised he is the stranger I was admiring earlier.

I noticed he was even more handsome than what I saw earlier, he was about 6 feet tall, well built and his six packs stuck out from his shirt. I also discovered he had the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen, short spiky hair which made him look more handsome and his voice sounded like that of an Angel.

Well, I haven't seen any Angel in reality but I have seen them in movies.

"Hi" he said again, jolting me back to reality. I was definitely lost in thoughts.

"Hi, I am Vivian" I finally responded with a smile as I returned the hand shake. "Hope, you don't mind me sitting here?" he asked, putting on that smile which could win any heart, like it has won mine already.

"No, I don't mind. Have a seat'?" I said. We talked and chatted for some time before I heard the voice of Alicia.

"Hi Jake" she walked towards him and gave him a hug. Jake returned the hug, It was obvious they know each other. "You know him?" Alicia asked me. "No, we just met" I answered.
