It all started as a game of love and hate, two people from different families with different views about love, found themselves entangled in a predicament that would change both their lives drastically, Sia Navarro a jovial ambitious beautiful girl who had taken life by the storm and did everything in her power to do what was right, to her destiny and fate were in her hands and believed she could change fate at her will, but one little mistake changed her life entirely.

It all started one autumn wedding day in the late afternoon, the orange-gold sun set stretched far and wide, the color of fire hearths and tangerines, it was but a reflection of the dawn, the promise of the rising sun that came after the velvety night, the church was well decorated with beautiful colorful flowers, at the end of each seated aisle jasmine scented candles hung around the interior of the church, spread down the aisle was white roses as far as the eyes could see, all the seats were filled with important guests from across the city as they anxiously witnessed the wedding of the century, the powerful Alvaro family's eldest son was getting married and many from far and wide came to be part of the most glorious day. The groom's family and well as the bride's family were seated at the front roll seats as joyous smiles were dancing on their faces, the Alvaro's eldest son in black tie tuxedo stood at the altar with his bride facing each other as they listened to the priest standing before them perform the necessary ceremonial vows.

The groom had his eyes lowered to the bride whose face was entirely covered by a veil, as much as he was eager to get the ceremony over with he could sense the bride had the same feeling as she in shaky hands gripped his hands nervously, his brows creased together not showing any expression on his face, his slightly curly long hair falling to his handsome face making him look like a Greek god

"He's so handsome isn't he?"he heard murmurs in the large crowd as more soft voices were heard whispering about how happy they were to be a part of the wedding, having to witness the famous handsome young bachelor marry finally, he ignored the vile comments and listened to the priest as he asked the bride a question

"Do you Kate Anderson take Emiliano Alvaro as your lawful wedded husband to love and to cherish in sickness and in health until death do you apart?"the priest spoke, and the church went silent as they waited for the bride to speak, her grip on the groom tightened she could feel her throat getting drier by the minute but with a few breaths she answered in a soft low voice

"I do"she said and her family's smiles doubled while the groom's family held their hearts in their hands waiting for their son to say the words hoping and praying he didn't do anything funny

"Do you... Emiliano Alvaro take Kate Anderson as your lawful wedded wife to love and to cherish in sickness and in health until death do you apart?"he turned to the groom and asked with a smile as the entire crowd went pin drop silent, this was it this was the moment if truth and the moment the young bachelor was going to tie the knot finally, Emiliano looked at his family who nodded and then back at the bride who was about to collapse from anxiety, his face went blank as if he was pondering over the difficult question he was asked, the priest cleared his throat seeing that the groom wasn't answering and repeated the question

"Do you Emiliano Alvaro take Kate as your lawful wedded wife to love and to cherish in sickness and in health until death do you apart?"he asked and looked at the groom to answer and once again Emiliano hesitantly looked to his sides and prepared to say the two words which would doom him for the rest of his life

"I... I.'d..."

"I OBJECT THIS WEDDING!"before he could finish his sentence a soft melodious pleasant voice spoke echoing throughout the entire church as everyone present turned their heads towards the entrance only to see who would dare to object to the most famous, powerful and wealthy Alvaro wedding, their eyes met with a slightly tall girl with long black hair wearing a long black dress holding a baby in her arms wrapped in a small white blanket, she elegantly made her way down the aisle, her facial expression cold and aloof not caring about the disdain looks everyone were giving her, her eyes were fixed on the groom standing at the altar, his icy piercing eyes gazed upon the intruder.

Far at the corner back seat of the church, a blonde young man standing beside a girl with brown hair spoke

"Get ready for some drama"he said with a smirk as he watched the girl holding a baby stand before the groom just as the groom and bride's family members surrounded her waiting for her explanation as to why she came to ruin a special occasion and that too OF the Alvaro's.

Everyone looked at the lady holding a baby and murmurs rose among the guests as they wondered who she was to risk her life and object to the Alvaro wedding, it was like she was courting death

"Young lady, may I know why you came here?" A woman wearing a blue designer dress, her hair was in a nicely done up do, the ornament she wore showed just how classy and expensive her clothes were, but the girl with the baby didn't mind as a cold expression plastered on her face and fixed her icy blue eyes in the groom in pure disdain

"Emiliano Alvaro, the beloved son of the Alvaro family, right?" The girl said and took a step towards him, Emiliano narrowed his eyes as he tried to recall if ever he had met the lady before, but his memory failed him because she was a stranger but what was she doing here

"Young lady, my patience has run out now, get out!"the same woman from earlier said in an angered tone and tried to grab the girl's arm, but unfortunately, she turned around fast and threw daggers at the woman

"If you dare to touch me one more time I promise you this won't end well here"saying that her eyes shifted to the groom, the baby in her arms was quietly sleeping not making a sound, the entire church went silent, they had to admit the girl had the guts to shout at the groom's mother which was impressive

"Who are you?"this time a small soft voice spoke and when the girl turned around she saw an elderly woman dressed elegantly in a shiny red suit with shiny expensive accessories, the girl softened her gaze as she adjusted the baby into a comfortable position and walked to the old lady

"Oh ma'am, you are the only one who can help me, I'm... I'm Sia a helpless little girl who...who was wronged deeply"Sia cried as she told the old woman who creased her eyebrows and shifted her gaze to her grandson who was blankly staring at her not knowing a thing

"What happened?"the old lady asked and Sia wiped her tears and looked at Emiliano and back at the lady, the bride had already removed her veil and was wondering what was happening around her

"Granny I...this child my child, he...he abandoned us, and now he's getting married to someone else"upon finishing her sentence Sia broke into tears shocking everyone with her revelation, Emiliano was dumbstruck, shocked beyond his imagination

"What!?" Emiliano's mom exclaimed and stepped forward to Sia who had her head lowered

"What do you mean?"the old lady asked in a deep angry tone that had Sia flinching in fear, but she didn't dare back down, the guests together with the bride's family couldn't believe what they heard as they talked among themselves

"Y...yes ma'am, this...this baby I'm holding is none other than...his baby...sobs...sobs"saying, so she pointed at Emiliano who felt his knees weaken, he had no idea what the girl was going on about, yes he had multiple women, but he didn't remember seeing her before which only meant she was lying but why and who sent her

"You are lying, my son does not have a son, who sent you huh!"his mom grabbed Sia's arm successfully and shook her vigorously but Sia didn't dare argue as her eyes watered again getting the old lady's attention who shifted her gaze to her grandson then back to the baby the girl was holding and frowned even more

"This wedding is over,"she said and immediately several men in black entered the church and started ushering all the guests away of course they were intrigued by what the girl with the baby said and wanted to know more, but the old lady wouldn't let help, it was a private family matter, they had a huge wedding and many reporters were outside if this accusation got out on TV then the Alvaro reputation would be ruined just like that

"Now talk girl who sent you here to accuse my grandson of such an abominable thing!"the old lady said as soon as the guests had exited the church leaving only the family members and the bride's family who had no say in anything since they were in a lower status than the Alvaro's

"No one sent me, this man here is my baby's father he made fake promises to me only to find out he was getting married to another woman"Sia glared at Emiliano who kept quiet, he wanted to deny but now that he thought about it the girl could have been sent by his best friend, this marriage was against his will and his crazy friend was against it too, and hence he came up with an idea to put a stop to the wedding, so the girl with the baby must have been sent by him, thinking about that Emiliano smiled inwardly knowing full well his friend was cunning to have come up with such an idea to stop the wedding.

Far at a corner, two people standing away from the family whispered to themselves

"W...we should stop her Mario...she's going to die right before our eyes"a girl with brown hair whispered nervously and the man Mario with blonde hair shook his head

"Of course not, Sia can take excellent care of herself, I'm pretty sure they won't stand a chance, Rhea"he said with a smirk and Rhea swallowed dry air as she watched her friend put herself in danger, she should have tried hard to stop Sia but who could mess with Sia Navarro

"Mario, the old lady seems scary, what if she puts a bullet in her head huh"she tried to talk Mario out if this because only Mario had the power to stop Sia but by the look of things he seemed to be enjoying the show even more

(Sighs)"if you don't want them to kill us keep your mouth shut okay, Sia has this under control and as it is the old lady is the main target once Sia sheds some crocodile tears then it's game over"he was totally irritated by Rhea, they didn't sneak in the church and pretended to be relatives of the bride's family just to get caught, Rhea kept her eyes glued to Sia and relaxed hoping it would end well.

"Enough!"a deep voice yelled catching everyone off guard including Sia who turned around only to see a middle-aged man with well-kept black hair and judging by the type of expensive suit he was wearing, Sia knew he was the Casanova's father, his cold aloof icy aura matched that of Emiliano, and she knew the Casanova got his outstanding looks from his dear dad

"How much did they pay you to ruin my son's reputation, we'll triple it, how much?" Vince, Emiliano's father stood before Sia while his wife and Emiliano's grandma stood beside him, emiliano had his eyes fixed on the lady holding the baby, her acting was formidable almost believable, he had to applaud his crazy best friend for this, she deserved a huge reward

"I don't want your money, I...I just want justice for my baby...sobs...sobs...please I'm just an innocent woman, I have no one to defend me but...but he's the father...granny your grandson is my baby's father"Sia said with sobs and dropped to the cold floor as she held her baby close to her, tears couldn't stop falling as she cried even more, Vince clenched his fist in anger irritated with the predicament his family was in all because of his careless irresponsible son

"Emiliano, tell us, do you know this woman?" Vince ignored Sia and turned to his son who had a blank expression on his face, Vincent expected Emiliano to defend himself, but he has been quiet the entire time, Emiliano blinked several times and stared t the girl with the baby and replied

"I don't know her"he simply said and his mom and dad smiled in satisfaction while his grandma narrowed her eyes suspiciously at him

"Y...you are lying, this is your child"Sia got up in desperation and went for Emiliano, but his mom held her back

"Shut up you witch!get out this instant before I call the police"Emiliano's mom shouted at Sia who lowered her head for a while and then looked up at Emiliano who had a smirk tagging at the corners of his lips, fire was burning in Sia's eyes as she spoke her next words one by one

"Mexico, last year, cleave Perez party, I wouldn't miss a chance to say hello to a pretty lady and buy her a drink for the night, do you recall these words Mr Emiliano Alvaro"she said coldly and immediately Emiliano's face became pale as cold sweat broke on his forehead, this lady wasn't sent by his best friend, but she was here to ruin him

"Emiliano Alvaro do you or do you not know this woman tell me!"this time his grandma asked in fury, and she glared at him, emiliano didn't utter a word all he did was shake his head closely and walked away leaving them to deal with the issue themselves this was unexpected

"Now see, am I lying?" Sia asked them and Vince and his wife glared at her and walked away too so did the bride and her family who looked hurt but Sia didn't care

"Come with me"the grandma said and Sia followed her not secretly forgetting to look at her two friends hiding at a corner and winked at them with a victory smirk tagging at the corners of her lips and she kissed the baby's cheeks and stronger outside the church

As expected immediately Emiliano stepped out of the church a swarm of TV reporters ran his way and with a sigh, he wore his sunglasses and continued walking away leaving his bodyguards to deal with them, but that didn't stop them from asking questions

"Sir, why is the wedding not happening, who was that woman with a baby what does she have to do with this, sir tell us"the reporters flashed cameras at him as they went after him with all sorts of questions but Emiliano being used to them constantly looking for scandalous stories in his life and family ignored them and reached to where his car was parked

"Sir, I'll hold them off"one of his guards said and spread his arms to prevent the reporters from going anywhere near the car and until Emiliano was safely seated did he close the door and the driver drove away from the church leaving them hanging but once they spotted his family coming out of the church together with the lady holding a baby they rushed to them

"Mrs Alvaro, who is this lady and her baby? Why did the wedding get called off? Does it have anything to do with her, please tell us what's going on?"again the reporters fired with so many questions why taking pics, they didn't miss a chance to get to know why was going in the lives of Canada's most famous Alvaro family especially what their eldest son and heir to their empire, the country's heartthrob and the well-known Casanova Emiliano Alvaro.

"Please make way, no interviews for now"the guards said as they ushered everyone to the cars including Sia who had her head facing the ground the entire time as they helped her get in the car safely, Vince and his wife got in another car and the grandma got in her car and the drivers drove away,

"Damn it! Do you think it's something juicy?"one reporter asked another, who nodded

"This must be big kept your eyes open once our TV channel get hold of the Alvaro's scandal we will be famous"a man with a cap and a camera around his neck said, and they all scattered away just as Mario and Rhea came into view

"I guess she succeeded, what do you know"Rhea said with a chuckle and clapped twice, she had to admit her friend was so smart and now that she had managed to enter the Alvaro household, it was going to be interesting

"Not yet dummy, but I think the old lady was convinced somehow, come on I'm exhausted let's go eat some Mexican food"Mario said and both walked to his black SUV parked far away from the church, he knew Sia was just getting started, the old lady called the shots in the Alvaro mansion and no one dared to go against her decision not Vince her son or Emiliano the beloved spoiled grandson, so if Sia wanted to succeed then taming the old lady was her ticket once the old lady believed and felt pity for her story then not even Emiliano would stop her, the old lady had a weakness for helpless women and Sia was a helpless woman with a baby who suffered injustice in the hands of her grandson, and hence she was going to handle the matter justly.
