I'm Your Wife, Not Her!

Author: : Dianur
Genre: Romance
Lisa never felt like she had a husband, despite being married for a year. She always does everything herself without the help of a husband. In fact, during this time Lisa very rarely ate together with her husband. Because Lisa's husband pays more attention to his female friends than to Lisa who is a legal wife. "I am your wife, not Her!" Lisa even shouted the sentence in front of her husband's own face. In fact, the sentence did not make her husband realize, but turned into anger and ended up not wanting to go home. Lisa was tired of her household. The woman could no longer bear the pain when she miscarried and lost her baby forever. Meanwhile, her husband was too busy taking care of his sick female friend. Everyday Lisa's heart ached more and more, and she couldn't afford to continue her marriage. "I'm tired, honey. I want a divorce from you immediately."

Chapter 1 The Umpteenth Lie

"Honey, can you accompany me to the monthly shopping?" Lisa, with a slightly trembling voice contacted her husband who had not returned home, even though the time to go home from work had passed a few hours ago.

As soon as the message Lisa sent to her husband, the woman was a little worried about being rejected again by her husband. Actually, Lisa can do anything alone, because since marriage her husband has never helped her at all in terms of taking care of their household.

Rian, Lisa's husband has always prioritized Neli, her school friend. Even Lisa protested several times and asked not to continue to prioritize Neli. But Rian was angry with Lisa, comparing her to Neli.

"Until when will you realize," muttered Lisa sitting in front of her house. The woman looked brooding, waiting for her husband's return from work. But he never came home.

"I'm sure, Rian is now with Neli," Lisa continued sadly, the woman felt her body was very tired.

Since this afternoon, Lisa has felt dizzy and nauseous which has not stopped. But he still forced himself to do all the housework sincerely.

"Do I call Rian again," said Lisa looking doubtful. But her hand then searched for Rian's name in a row of other contact names.

The woman called her husband back, a few seconds later the call was connected.

"Hello. Why again?" said Rian from the other side.

Lisa's heart ached when she heard direct speech from her husband who seemed rude and disliked.

"Where are you? Can you take me monthly shopping?" asked Lisa still in a patient tone. The woman tried to hold back the emotions that were about to peak.

"I'm busy. You usually go alone too, right?" replied Rian in a snappy tone.

Again, Lisa exhaled heavily. Her head was getting dizzy. Her vision was becoming increasingly unclear.

"Then I'll go alone." Lisa said with sadness, but her husband was insensitive and heartless.

"Yes, there. Don't be a spoiled wife!" Rian snapped before breaking off their call.

"Gosh Rian! How long have you been cynical with me," Lisa said a little loudly, but Rian just turned off the phone.

"What did I do wrong all this time? Why am I always the one left out," Lisa muttered with tears in her eyes.

Forced Lisa into the house, even though it was getting late but the woman had to go to the supermarket for monthly shopping.

Lisa ordered an online taxi, her head had been hurting but the woman ignored it. She leaned back against the car seat, closing her eyes briefly.

"Until when do I keep going like this. I should have realized a long time ago that Rian only cares about Neli." Lisa felt a pain in her heart. During their one year of marriage, she had not received the slightest attention from Rian.

"Oh my God, what do I do. Could I choose divorce?" Lisa asked herself again. Survive or divorce her husband. But the shadow of her in-laws came back to haunt Lisa.

"But what about Mom. She is a mother-in-law who has considered me as her own biological child," Lisa said softly. Occasionally the driver of the car Lisa was riding in glanced at her. Maybe because Lisa's face looked like someone who was having a lot of problems.

"Shopping alone?" asked the driver occasionally glancing at the windshield.

Lisa nodded, "Yes sir," replied the woman by forcing a slight smile.

"An independent woman, yes. It's late," said the driver in a tone that was made familiar.

Lisa was just silent, she was not in the mood to talk to other people. The driver immediately fell silent because he didn't get a reply from Lisa.

The online taxi was parked in front of the supermarket, Lisa immediately got off and did not forget to thank him for driving her safely to the supermarket.

"Thank you, sir. I'll give you a 5-star rating later," Lisa said with a faint smile, then quickly left.

"Wait a minute," the driver suddenly stopped Lisa in her tracks.

The woman frowned, "What's wrong?" asked Lisa who had not realized that her cellphone was left in the car.

"It's yours, it fell on the car seat." The driver returned Lisa's cell phone with a smile.

"Oh my. Sorry for the trouble," replied Lisa accepting her cell phone back. Then she smiled happily at the driver.

"Thank you again," Lisa said, turning around and entering the supermarket.

The supermarket wasn't too crowded, which made Lisa a little happy, because she wouldn't have to wait in line for too long to pay.

"Thank goodness there's no long queue," said Lisa, starting to browse to buy monthly household needs with Rian.

Occasionally Lisa glanced at the married couple who were shopping together, there was a small child among them.

"I wish Rian was like that," Lisa said, wishing her husband was like other couples.

"Maybe if I had children, my life wouldn't be so lonely like this," continued Lisa smiling wryly because she had to accept the fact that she was not pregnant, even though the age of her marriage to Rian had entered the count of one year.

"But how can I get pregnant, Rian rarely touches me. Not even once a month," Lisa said with a bitter smile. She again had to accept the fact that all this time Rian had not provided inner sustenance for Lisa.

"God, can you turn my husband into a romantic partner? I've been tired of his cynical attitude," muttered Lisa still silent in place lamenting fate.

"Bugh!"

Someone had nudged Lisa's shoulder, the woman tiptoed in surprise.

"Oh my gosh!" said Lisa in shock, as did the person who bumped into her.

"Sorry, I didn't see," the man replied, their gazes meeting.

"Rian?" Lisa blinked her eyes a few times. She was not mistaken, in front of her now stood her husband who was carrying a shopping basket.

"Lisa?" Rian immediately hid his nervous face. He didn't expect his wife to be shopping at the same supermarket.

Lisa was speechless, tongue-tied. "How can Rian be here. Just now he said he was busy working, and that? Why did he take some sanitary napkins?" Lisa's mind stared at the basket her husband was carrying.

Rian reacted, immediately hiding the basket behind his body. Lisa looked at her husband, asking for an explanation.

"I wanted to do some shopping before going home, I didn't know you were here too," Rian spoke first. In his tone, he seemed nervous and hiding something.

But Lisa smiled warmly, "Why don't you tell me first, you know, you just shop for our home needs," said Lisa who thought her husband was shopping for their household needs.

Rian was just silent, tongue-tied. Can't argue or tell the truth to Lisa.

"Honey, let's continue shopping," continued Lisa holding her husband's hand happily.

But the joy did not last long, from behind them a woman appeared.

"Lisa?"

The woman's voice was very recognizable to Lisa. The woman immediately turned around, it was true that Neli was behind them.

"You're shopping too," said Neli with a warm smile on her lips.

Lisa looked at Neli's hand carrying some groceries, then looked at her husband.

"Did you come together?" asked Lisa in a trembling voice.

Neli immediately picked up the grocery basket held by Rian.

"I was just asking Rian to take me to the hospital for a check-up, but I remembered some food supplies so I'm shopping here," Neli replied with an innocent face without guilt.

"Oh my God. Why is this woman shameless. Doesn't she realize she's with someone's husband?" Lisa thought with pain in her heart. At first she thought that her husband was doing the monthly shopping for their house.

Lisa looked at Rian with a sad face, "I thought you were shopping for our house," said Lisa letting go of his hand, then immediately walked away.

Her heart ached to accept the fact, the woman was already in tears. Again she lost to Neli, her husband's friend.

Chapter 2 Running Away From Home

At that moment, Lisa decided to go straight home. She didn't go shopping, her heart was hurting and her mind was in turmoil. Plus her head was very dizzy and her stomach was very nauseous.

Before leaving the supermarket, Lisa vaguely heard that Neli told Rian to chase Lisa, but Rian just didn't want to and let Lisa go home alone.

"I can't take it anymore, this time I have to be firm," Lisa muttered, leaning back on the sofa. She had just arrived home without the groceries she had brought.

"Why is my luck so unlucky," Lisa continued in a trembling voice. Again she was played by fate.

What wife's heart doesn't ache, when she finds out her own husband is with another woman in another place.

"Oh God, I can't take it anymore. I want to quit this painful household," Lisa said in a sad voice. Her body was already very weak, her stomach was like being squeezed, very painful. But Lisa's heart hurt even more when she saw her husband's behavior.

The woman closed her eyes, even though she was still wearing the same clothes. Her body was still dirty, her face very haggard.

The sound of the door of the house being opened, immediately Lisa looked at who had opened the door.

"Rian, I can't take it anymore. Divorce me right now!" Lisa immediately filed for divorce as soon as she saw her husband come home.

Rian grunted in annoyance, he slammed his briefcase hard. Lisa was surprised to see that. Again her husband was angry, he should have apologized instead of venting his emotions on Lisa.

"I will never divorce you!" Rian looked sharply at Lisa.

Lisa smiled sarcastically, "You deliberately made me suffer? What did I do wrong all this time? Why are you this heartless!" Lisa replied with tears in her eyes. She could not understand her husband who did not want a divorce, even though it was clear that there was a third person in their household.

"Don't be childish. Neli and I are just friends, nothing more. I don't have any feelings for her!" Rian shouted back he didn't want to be outdone by Lisa

"Oh .... So that's it! You don't love Neli? Just a friend? Liar! You're obviously a liar!" Lisa raised her voice. For a year now the woman had been patient enough to give in, but tonight Lisa pulled out her courage to divorce from Rian.

"You dare to yell at me? Where did you get that courage?" said Rian as he approached Lisa. The man looked angry, his face bright red.

Lisa staggered back, she trembled at her husband's expression. It was the first time Rian looked so angry, like he wanted to kill someone.

"Why, are you shocked? I've been trying to survive all this time, but you've always been concerned with Neli!" Lisa boldly reiterated the facts.

"Do you realize? I'm your legal wife! While Neli is just your friend!" Lisa shouted frantically. This time the woman could not control her emotions. Her breathing was up and down, and her voice was hoarse. Her heart was broken and aching.

Rian was getting angry at Lisa's attitude, so he mercilessly grabbed Lisa's hair. The woman was shocked and screamed in pain.

"Let go! It hurts!" Lisa shouted in anguish. She did not think that her husband had dared to commit violence in their household.

"Die! Feel this! I told you, I will never divorce you!" said Rian in front of Lisa's face. The woman could only cry, her head hurt so much. She almost fainted, fortunately Rian immediately released her hold on Lisa's hair.

The woman immediately collapsed, her body slumped on the floor of the house.

"What did I do wrong all this time? Why are you this heartless?" Lisa murmured in a sad voice.

Rian didn't care, she immediately went into the room without apologizing to Lisa.

"Oh my God. Take my life right now. I can't stand it anymore, how can I live with circumstances like this," said Lisa wiping her tears. Her stomach hurt like a needle.

"Oh my God my stomach, why does it hurt so much," said Lisa walking with a limp. She couldn't take it anymore, and decided to order an online taxi immediately.

With blurry vision, Lisa waited for the taxi in front of her house. She carried only her bag and all the important documents. She took all the documents while Rian was in the bathroom.

Lisa looked at her house several times, hoping that Rian wouldn't realize that she was about to run away.

"Why is the taxi taking so long," Lisa said anxiously. Occasionally she glanced at the house.

"Lisa!"

Suddenly Rian was at her door. His gaze was so sharp, Lisa shuddered when she saw Rian's expression.

"Oh God, help me," Lisa muttered shakily as Rian quickly caught up with Lisa in front of the house.

"I have to run right now," Lisa said about to run, but her stomach was cramping and aching. Lisa couldn't even move a little.

But the miracle came, the online taxi stopped near Lisa. Without waiting long, Lisa immediately got in and told the driver to leave immediately.

"Hurry up, sir! I'm in danger," Lisa said with the last of her strength. She was already very weak.

The driver was quick to recognize that Lisa was in trouble, he immediately stepped on the gas pedal and passed Rian who was shouting behind them.

"Thank you, sir." Lisa spoke weakly. Slowly her consciousness began to decline.

"Please take me to the nearest hospital," Lisa continued in a very weak voice.

"Yes," the driver replied and sped off. He knew that Lisa was dying.

"Hang in there. In 5 minutes we will arrive," continued the driver feeling worried about Lisa's condition. While the woman was no longer answering, slowly all her vision became white.

Not long after, she faintly heard the driver who took her away shouting at someone.

"Help! Her condition is very critical," said the driver while carrying Lisa who was already unconscious.

Immediately the health workers took Lisa to the emergency department.

"Please take care of this woman's administration. We will take good care of her," said one of the health workers with a genuine smile.

The driver nodded and walked towards the receptionist.

"Ouch ... this woman doesn't have her ID with her?" said the driver scratching his head. Inevitably, he had to unpack Lisa's bag and find an ID to register with the hospital.

Not waiting long, he immediately got Lisa's identity and immediately registered it.

"Thankfully the woman escaped with complete documents," the driver said, still holding Lisa's bag.

The driver then took a quick glance at the documents Lisa was carrying.

"It looks like this woman is running away from home. Maybe her husband has been violent. But fortunately this woman is very smart, she brought all the important documents. I'm sure this woman's husband won't be able to make a move," the driver muttered as he quickly looked at Lisa's condition.

Chapter 3 Miscarriage

Lisa had been moved into the treatment room, she had even regained consciousness earlier.

"Thank goodness you're awake," the driver said suddenly. Making Lisa's heart a little relieved.

"Thank you so much for helping me. I owe you a lot," Lisa replied with a guilty look.

"No problem. The most important thing is that you're healthy now."

"Here's the bag you brought," the driver said, returning Lisa's bag. The woman couldn't stop feeling grateful for having been met by such a kind-hearted person.

"Thank you very much again." Lisa took out some cash, which she gladly gave to the driver.

"This is most of it. Taxis aren't this expensive," said the driver smiling as he handed back a few bills.

"Please accept, sir. It may not be much to repay your kindness. But I hope you'll accept it," Lisa said with a weary face.

The driver nodded, "Thank you very much. It's more than enough," he smiled back warmly.

"Then I'll leave first," continued the driver with a happy face because he got a lot of money from Lisa.

Lisa nodded and smiled back warmly, "Thank you very much again, sir."

The driver finally left leaving Lisa alone in the hospital. The woman looked around her, there were several people lying weakly accompanied by their families.

"You didn't even know I was in the hospital," Lisa muttered under her breath. She shed her tears again.

"But thank God, I met good people who are sincere in helping me get to this point," Lisa continued, then wiped her tears.

Lisa lay down, her stomach no longer hurt like before. It's just that her head still feels heavy.

The woman glanced at the bag she was carrying, then quickly picked it up and checked it.

"Thankfully the documents I brought were all complete, and also the driver was very honest. May that person get more favor from God," Lisa said looking at the important document.

Lisa deliberately only took away all the important documents. Because time did not allow Lisa to bring her clothes from Rian's house. At least Lisa had taken away marriage documents, land titles, houses and other assets. This made Rian unable to move.

"We'll see, until you will act. I won't let you enjoy this treasure together with Neli," Lisa muttered, clenching her hands when she remembered Neli and Rian.

"With Lisa's sister huh?" asked the nurse who had suddenly arrived and was already beside Lisa.

Lisa was surprised, with a slight stutter she nodded, "Yes, that's right." Lisa smiled slightly.

"Good. I'll tell you the results of today's examination," said the nurse taking some papers.

"We apologize for not being able to maintain your pregnancy. You were bleeding heavily, so your fetus passed away along with the bleeding," the nurse said with a pitying face.

Lisa blinked repeatedly, not understanding what the nurse was saying. Her face looked confused.

"Fetus? Am I pregnant?" asked Lisa with an innocent face. She held her flat stomach.

The nurse nodded, "You don't seem to know this pregnancy yet, do you? Indeed, your pregnancy is still very young. We are very sorry, because we cannot maintain your fetus," said the nurse apologizing once again.

Lisa looked down sadly, once again she shed tears while holding her still flat stomach.

"Oh my God. I'm really tired this time," Lisa said softly.

The nurse rubbed Lisa's shoulder, "Don't give up, may God soon bring a child to you," said the nurse, then immediately left.

Lisa was still downcast, she did not expect at all if all this time she had been pregnant.

"I'm sorry, dear. This is all your father's fault! He doesn't even deserve to be called a father!" Lisa muttered in a sad voice.

She took her cell phone out of her bag and turned it back on.

Many messages and calls came into Lisa's cell phone. Including Rian and also her in-laws. Even Neli, the woman had also contacted Lisa.

"Why contact me, after I leave then they look for me?" Lisa grumbled to herself. The woman looked disgustedly at some of the messages sent by her husband.

"This time I won't fall for your seduction again! This time I'm really going to demand a divorce!" Lisa clenched her hands into fists. Then holding her flat stomach, she had just lost the child she was carrying.

Shortly after the call came into Lisa's cell phone, the woman glanced over to see who had called.

"Mom? I'm sure Rian has complained that I ran away from home," Lisa said, deciding to pick up the phone from her in-laws.

"Hello?" Lisa said softly.

"Where are you!" the voice shouting was very familiar to Lisa. Reflexively, the woman moved her cell phone away from her ear.

"I think Rian is at Mom's house. That time, this is my chance to reveal everything," Lisa murmured with a happy smile.

"Patience, Rian. Let Lisa talk, don't be rude like that," said Lisa's mother-in-law on the other side.

"Keep defending this unfaithful woman, Mom! How can a wife just run away from home!" said Rian angrily, hearing her mother defend Lisa.

Lisa just exhaled harshly. Again Rian complained to her mother.

"Answer me, where are you now?" Rian still raised his voice, he was very angry with Lisa, his wife.

"You must have run away? You even took all the important documents! Give them back right now!" continued Rian in a loud voice.

"Remember God, dear. You've gone too far in accusing Lisa," said Lisa's mother-in-law, still defending her daughter-in-law.

"I did take all those documents away, Mom." Lisa suddenly interjected. She had to be honest, her mother-in-law had to know why Lisa had run away from home.

"Look, even this woman is shameless about saying it!" Rian snapped in front of her own mother.

The man was even more incensed when he heard Lisa's words.

"I'm not doing this for no reason, I just want a divorce from Rian. For the past year, I've suffered enough living with a man who loves another woman," Lisa said without beating around the bush. The woman deliberately said it directly and clearly, so that her mother-in-law would know how her son was.

"What?" Lisa's mother-in-law's voice seemed surprised. She looked at Rian, asking her son for an explanation.

"Don't believe Lisa, Mom. This woman is just making things up. She doesn't even have proof that I'm having an affair!" Rian defended herself.

"And with Neli? What do you think of that woman?" Lisa replied directly without giving Rian a chance to defend herself.

"Neli? You're still in touch with that cheap woman? This is you! I found you a good wife, why are you still in a relationship with a former prostitute!" Lisa's mother-in-law shouted from the other side. That made Lisa furrow her brow.

"A prostitute?

Lisa's an ex-prostitute? What do you mean?" she wondered.

"Stop calling Neli a whore! You don't know the real story!" Rian yelled back, he was even angrier. In the phone call, Rian could be heard breathing irregularly, holding back the emotion of hearing her own mother's words. While Lisa was silent, she waited for her in-laws to reveal the truth that Lisa didn't know.
