chapter One

The Man in Black

I couldn't take my eyes off my two younger brothers who were just looking at Dad's Grave. I don't know how the next days will be in our lives. Dad dahl died of heart disease just one day. because he didn't say anything and he was suddenly attacked. We rushed him to the hospital but it was too late.

Archie and Junior are my Dad's brothers. He is not my biological Father, He is my Step Father. My real father died when I was 14 years old. Mom married someone else, And he stood as my Father for Ten Years.

I stopped studying then. I also need to earn money that's why I'm looking for income. since Mom's death Dad has changed, He often gets drunk and who is with him.

ǢLianne!" I turned around when I heard Aling Marie calling me. He ran towards me and seemed nervous about whatever he was going to say to me.

"Why?" I asked him when he got close to me and was still panting.

"Someone is looking for you, but I feel different here, Son." Aling Marie's voice shows concern

"Who is he? Why is he here?"

"He told me that he needed to talk to you. he looks rich, he has friends. He said he knows your father. "

From not far away while I was walking I saw the Expensive black car and five men talking. Aren't they bad people? What do they need from my Dad? Or us?

One of them turned to me, He had a friendly face and he smiled at me. A man next to her also turned to me and removed the shades he was wearing. He was wearing leather shoes while wearing slacks and a black coat. Its inner polo is white and its necktie is red. Its clothes also seem to be loved.

when our eyes met I was suddenly nervous and I felt like I was thinking something bad, Why are they here or what is their purpose. They look like Loan Sharks, or maybe syndicates.

"Lianne Mendoza?" His forehead was wrinkled when he looked at me. because my legs were shaking and I was nervous I just bowed and nodded to him

We were leaving Dad's grave when suddenly some men approached us. They were the body guards of the man who went to the house.

"You have to come with us. A man spoke.

"Sister!" Archie and Junior cried out in tears.

I struggled but they were really strong. I looked at my yellow brother crying. I did nothing but follow them.

"Let me go!" I begged them but they didn't seem to hear anything. They forced me into the car. I looked at my two brothers from the window, They wanted to run to chase the car in which I was riding but Aling Marie stopped them.

"Please stop the car first, I'll just say goodbye to them!" I begged them but they didn't even turn to me.

"Please" I breathed as tears continued to flow in my eyes.

Dad's funeral was just over and these men forcibly took me in front of my brothers. This is unforgivable.

chapter Two

The Payment

Rowin

"You looked like a trash" When I entered the conference room, Gab immediately opened this to me. I loosened my necktie and sat on the swivel chair.

"Is your boss from where he looks so ugly?" he asked Reb, one of the bodyguards at the mansion.

"On Ruel's hill." Gab immediately stared at me but I avoided it. I'm going to lecture again.

"You didn't collect his debt, did you?" When I didn't answer, it just shook its head. "You're not supposed to do that for now." He gasped.

"He has a daughter and two young kids. How could he-" I stopped when I suddenly felt frustration. I washed my face and removed my leaning on the sofa.

"How could he make his daughter pay his debt. i get that" Gab added to what I was about to say. "Then don't take it" he said. I just looked at him.

"by the way. We have news about Lorenzo. He's on the run" I looked at Gab when I heard what he said.

"Even if we see Versola we can't squeeze anything from him. He would rather die." I promised Gab.

I couldn't stop my voice from rising. Lorenzo is just a pawn but we have a strong lead if we catch him. the problem is that he has a lot of connections and it's easy for him to switch hiding places.

"Where's Jake and the others?" I asked

"Sir Jake left with the others" he answered me.

"Tell Gab to try and release a Flight Ban. he will definitely try to leave the country" I told him. I was about to walk in but he stopped in front of me.

"I say the things that you do. you don't refuse to them" I unleaned my back against the couch to take a close look at her face.

"So going back, What should I do to you" He didn't say anything and just bowed.

"Ah.." I gasped. "I remember your Dad's words"

"Ruel said to me, If he is unable to pay, you will be the payment for his debts. Are you worth 10 million, Mendoza?"

I didn't realize that he was already holding the glass of water in front of him and he poured it on me.

"You animal!" it shouted.

now i am pissed off.

I saw Vale running towards us. But I signaled them to back off

"You are stuck here" My jaws tightened as I spoke.

"You're gonna be my slave"

His eyes widened at what I said. I wiped my face and stood up to approach him. He tried to walk away but our body guards stopped him.

"Being a slave, That is the payment."

The Escape

"Being a slave, That is the payment." I immediately shook my head and continued cleaning.

I don't really understand what this organization is.

Whenever I ask Aling Lita, she says that they are agents. I haven't seen that guy since we met and the day I came here. I found out that his name is Rowin from Aling Lita. He also told me to be careful with the other men here.

"Give it to her" Aling lita pushed me a case of beer. I immediately supported him

"It's me. It's heavy" It's not that I'm not burdened but Aling Lita is quite old so I'm already doing the heavy tasks here.

I carried a case of beer into the living room. They were just laughing and it was a little smoky in the living room because they were all gossiping.

"Is this Boss's new toy?" I was surprised when a man suddenly hit me on my seat. I immediately retreated but a man grabbed my back.

"Relax. It's late, let's leave Aling Lita in the kitchen, why don't you join us for a drink?" My knees trembled when a man whispered in my ear.

"Yes, of course. let's have fun" A man handed me a glass of wine. I don't want to look at them. I bowed and wanted to close my eyes. I'm afraid to look at the reactions in their eyes as if they have a bad plan for me.

"Do you think this is a bar!?" they all fell silent when a sudden voice echoed throughout the mansion. The two men who were teasing me earlier immediately slapped me. I looked in the direction the voice came from earlier. I saw Rowin with four guys behind him.

"Boss" stammered the man who gave me the wine. Rowin and I met our eyes so I immediately avoided it.

Maybe he's laughing at me these days. This is what he wants, right? Torture me and make me a slave.

"What did I tell you Renz? don't touch this girl" He yelled at the guy who was also scolding me earlier.

"Are you okay Miss?" I was surprised when I was suddenly approached by a man who was with Rowin earlier. I don't even know how he got to where I was.

"I'm Gab. This guy is my friend" He pointed to Rowin who just frowned.

"She's my personal slave so she is mine alone." Rowin threatened his body guards. I saw Gab smile while looking at his friend.

Rowin walked towards the stairs. I think he lost his appetite. I was surprised when Gab pushed me towards the stairs as well

"Follow me master. He is very narrow." I also heard the laughter of his colleagues.

"W-Why-"

"That will tell you something. Hurry up because it might throw you down the stairs if you're still here" he added.

I hurried upstairs and followed him to his room. The door was half open so I just entered. But that was a wrong move. I have forgotten the manners that were taught when we were in kindergarten that 'Knock before you enter'

I immediately turned around when I saw him taking off his polo shirt.

"Don't you know how to knock?" I noticed annoyance in the tone of his voice.

"Sorry Sir, leaving -"

"Stay. i will tell you something" I turned to him and just in time he had changed his T-shirt. Now that he's wearing a simple v-neck t-shirt, it's closer to his body and the curves of his muscles and especially his back are more visible.

It shouldn't be what I'm noticing. lianne get well!

"Pack my things and come with me tomorrow"

My eyes widened at what he said. Will he sell me forever? What will I do? I haven't talked to my brothers yet. I don't even know if they are still at home.

"Sir, please give me a chance to find something to pay you back" I didn't realize my tears were falling. I tried to approach him but I stopped when he faced me.

"Your Father was the one who told me that you can be the payment. just follow my order. This place has been compromised"

I tried to plead with him but he immediately left his room.

I didn't wait for the morning. I got ready early in the morning. the whole mansion was quiet because last night we saw others hurrying to leave the mansion. It looks like this place is haunted.

I picked up my backpack and walked to the kitchen. I went out the back door of the kitchen. I carefully opened the gate and quickly ran out.

As I got further and further away from the mansion, my nervousness subsided. A little more, I should run away. Even though my feet hurt, I have to go further. I will force myself to run because if I don't escape now I won't be able to get away from him for the rest of my life.

When I turned the corner, I stopped because someone greeted my man who I was not familiar with.

"Where are you going miss? Maybe you want to come with us first?" I looked at his two colleagues behind. He looks drunk. The tightness of his grip on me.

"Let me go!" I struggled when he grabbed me by the waist and smelled my neck

"It smells good. I think you're lost. Do you want me to take you or are you here with us first?" said a man holding my hand.

My knees trembled when a man rubbed my back and his hand went down. Even if I tried with all my might to break free from their grip, I couldn't break free. I have to leave. I have to run away. but I'm already getting nervous about whatever they're going to do to me next.

"Miss the- " A man let go of my hand. I heard him hitting the floor.

I was surprised when I saw a man who broke the bottle of wine and he was about to grab the man standing in front of me when he suddenly blocked him and he also fell on the floor like the man who was holding me. I saw a man get up and was about to rush the man but he grabbed his hand and punched him without saying anything.

I sat on the floor when I saw the man fighting. This is the last time I will be able to escape but it doesn't look like it will be anymore. Rowin kicked a man who was about to get up to rush him.

I was startled when I felt his cold hands on my shoulders. He made me stand up with all his might but I couldn't stand up properly. My feet are bruised from running earlier and I can feel the pain all over my body. Maybe I was shocked by running earlier because I wanted to escape.

"You might not understand. This City is getting bad." I backed away to get away from him

"You're the bad one!" My voice got louder. I burst into tears. It won't happen to me but because of him.

"Is only money important to you? Are you just turning other people into toys! I have a life but you took it from me!" I was about to hit him but he immediately caught my hands.

He held my hand tightly and I drifted towards his car when he pulled me.
