I groaned loudly as the sound of the alarm pierced into my ear jolting me out of my sweet dream.

I stretched my hand toward it turning it off, then slowly stood up as I yawned lazily heading toward the bathroom.

I allowed the cold water fell on my body as I stood still under the shower with my eyes shut. It was obvious I was enjoying the cold water fall on my body.

I smiled as I felt relieved.

Turning the shower off, I grabbed my favorite towel as I tied it around my waist, from my upper çhest to my knees and slowly walked out of the bathroom.

My room seemed perfect with the pictures of Lee mhi ho pasted on the wall.

My king size bed stood beside the window with my bedside lamp beside it.

A purple bedsheet could be seen spread on the bed with a purple duvet.

That's my favorite color.

I applied my lotion on my body, packing ny long black hair in a bum, I wore my school uniform.

"Sweetie are you ready? " I heard my dad voice screamed .

"Yes dad, I will be down in a minute"

Kissing my teddy bear, I proceeded down stairs

"Good morning dad" I hugged him while he kissed my forehead

"Good morning my beautiful angel" He dragged me to the dinning

" Bye dad" I got down from the car as I waved at him

"Have a nice day angel" I watched his car zoom out of the school garage and I walked further into the school.

"Hey Sophy" I heard someone say and I knew it's my best friend, Hannah.

I turned back smiling at her.

"My name is Sophia " I said as I frowned a little.

"Whatever" She waved her hand

"Guess wh...I walked away from her while she ran after me hitting my head playfully.

ARIANA

Everything happened so fast like a lightening as Dave fell down lifelessly.

I screamed in horror at the sight of a dead body falling at my feet.

" No need to panic my princess, this is just a piece of trash" He kicked Dave's lifeless body as he move closer to me while I drew back.

"Go away, I hate you" I cried as my back touched the wall.

"I love you too my princess, you know I can never stop loving you so just stop this and let's start again, let's start our life again, let's go far away to start a new beginning" He drew closer to me again.

He made to touch my face but I slapped his hand away from me.

"I hate you" I spat on his face while he wiped it off and smiled.

A police siren was heard outside the building.

"These pests" He hissed as he glanced through the window

"Bye my princess, have a sweet dreams, stay safe" He kissed my forehead and then he was gone.

I collapsed on the floor as I wept bitterly staring at the dead body of my lover.

I hated myself.

I caused all these.

The door bursted open and the cops rushed in with their guns held firmly in their hands.

A female cop rushed to me as she inspect my body.

"Are you okay miss?" She checked my face

" Attend to him first" I pointed at the cold body of Dave lying still on the floor.

She rushed over to Dave side as she inspected him checking his heartbeat.

She looked at me sadly as she shooked her head symphatically

" Pack up his body " She commanded while the other officers obeyed at once.

I cried my eyes out as I watched Them packed the dead body of my lover with the knife still stucked in his brain.

"That monster" I cried...

SOPHIA

"And that's the end of today's lesson" Miss Patricia announced as she packed her textbooks.

"Jackson, bring your notes to my office" She said and exited the class.

The atmosphere changed at once as the class which was as quiet as a grave yard suddenly grew noisy.

"Hey" I looked up to see Xavier sitting on the desk opposite me.

"You didn't bother replying my texts today " He folded his arms as he frowned at me.

"Gosh! Have forgotten am really sorry" I touched his face rubbing his cheek lightly.

"You know I can never ignore your texts"

I watched him smile.

"I love you" He kissed my forehead

"Awwwwnnnnnnnnn" The whole class murmured

"Enough of these love stuffs, you are really oppressing me" Hannah joked beside me while Xavier laughed.

"You should give Jackson a chance" I said knowing fully well that I had just called for a war but am prepared.

"You bitch" She charged at me as she hit me playfully.

"Your notes" Jackson announced his presence.

Xavier gave him his note and I also gave him mine

"Errrmmm... Hannah your note"

I watched Hannah smile wildly as she handed over her note to him stylishly.

"Don't argue... Just admit you love him" I whispered into her ear after Jackson left.

"I don't love him" She whispered

"It obvious you do" I whispered back as I bit her ear a little and she charged at me again.

Xavier laughed as he tried to separate us.

CHARLES

"I killed him with my bare hands" I rejoiced smiling as I drank the content in my cup.

That's just a warning for everyone to stay away from my Ariana, she's mine and mine alone.

I drank drank from my cup as I watched the news, Dave's picture is all over the news as his body was wheeled out into the ambulance.

"Don't you think it's time you should kill her parents? " Mark said as he sipped his coffee staring at the television.

I stared at him for few seconds.

"It's not yet time, I want them to witness our wedding" I said as I took my gaze off him.

"Did you think they will allow you marry their daughter? Huh? " He placed his coffee on the stool beside him as he faced me.

"Trust me Mark, I have everything planned... I know they won't agree easily so am ready to do it the hard way, just sit back, watch and enjoy" I drank the content in my cup pouring another wine into it.

I stared at him as he smile wildly.

"Ariana is mine " I said as I dropped the empty cup and fell back into the couch, feeling satisfied.

ARIANA

"He killed him mum, right there in my front and I couldn't do anything, I couldn't help him and I watched him stab him and I still couldn't do anything"

I cried as my mum consoled me patting my back.

"It's all my fault mum, I caused all these, I killed him I killed Dave"

I cried heavily

"It's not your fault honey , stop blaming yourself for it"

"But he died because of me" I protested as tears kept washing down my face.

The image of Dave floated through my head making me cry more.

I didn't love him at the beginning of our relationship but now am already loving him, I love him now but what happened?

He's gone

Gone forever

He promised hes gonna stay alive for me

He promised he will always be there to protect me from Charles

He promised he's gonna make sure he bring Charles at my feet

But what happened to all those promises

Those are all fake promises

He's dead now and all the promises are gone

No one to hold me tight and sing into my ears any more

No one to assure me everything's gonna be okay anymore

No one to stand up for me anymore

No one to encourage me anymore

No one to strengthen me when am down anymore

I cried as these and many other thoughts flow through my mind.

I felt bitter for dating him.

I wish I could reversed everything to the beginning, I would have turned him down for his own safety.

For him to be alive.

I would have reject him and stay away from him.

I hated myself.

"Everything's going to be fine Ariana" Dad promised

Those fake promises

He has been saying that since the death of Martins but still nothing happen.

Things just got worse once he said that.

I hate those promises

I hate them .

The door flung open and two police officers, a man and a woman walked into the sitting room.

Dad stood up as he shooked their hand offering them a seat.

"How's the case going officer" Dad asked as he also took his seat opposite them.

"We are still investigating, we haven't been able to get his location, but he's gonna be arrested and prosecuted very soon sure" The female cop said as she glanced at me.

"You don't have to cry all day, you may end up hurting yourself, and besides we need you to help find him because we can only get him through you"

I stared at her for seconds

"How" I managed to ask as my voice was shaking

"It's obvious he wants you that's why he kept killing all your boyfriends... Had it been you are the one he wanted to kill then he would have done that long time ago but he didn't because you are the one he want and he couldn't dare hurt you" She said

Yeah! She's right, he wanted me.

Had it been he wanted to kill me then I would have been dead by now.

"All we need right now is to wait for him to call you so we can track down his location and then he's gone" She said

I laughed inwardly

Seems they don't know who they are dealing with

SOPHIA

I walked into the school restaurant with Hannah beside me gossiping as usual.

Didn't hear a thing from what she has been saying since .

"Isn't that funny" She said as she laughed.

I faked a laughter so as to avoid war.

Immediately we entered the restaurant then all eyes fell on us as people stared at us from different angles with their phone in their hands.

Some stared back into their phone and stared back at us with a shock written on their face.

Why's everyone acting weird

Why are they all staring at us that way

This is strange

We walked to our normal seat as their gaze follows us.

I started feeling uneasy as the stares are becoming too much to handle.

Hannah stopped talking

She has just noticed it too

"Sophy, don't you think something is wrong, I mean the stares" She said as she looked around.

"I don't really understand what's going on right now" I said confusedly.

"Hi girls" Xavier said as he walked over to us with Jackson beside him.

Jackson is his best friend

The look on Xavier face also says something his wrong

He always has this smile on his face but this time he has a confused look on his face.

"Xavier what's wwrong, why are they staring at us" I managed to ask

"They are not staring at Hannah, they are staring at you" He said

"Me? Why? I mean I didn't do anything wrong.... Or did I? " I asked confusedly

"Here" He handed over his phone to me and I collected it checking what's going on.

"OMG!!!!!!!! " I screamed as I stared at the screen unbelievably.

SOPHIA

Unbelievable, this can't be me.

I mean I don't even know or understand a thing from what am seeing here.

But this picture is for me.

I was as confused as hell as I stared at my picture on the screen.

"I don't undérstand this,l mean this is not me... I don't even know anything about what is written here" I said confusedly.

"Exactly! No one else understand this, like this is really strange... This happens hours ago and you are here in the school... So no one understands this" Xavier said as he drag a chair from another table sitting beside us.

"Am as confused as hell...i don't understand this shit... There's a mix up some where" I said as I still find it hard to believe am actually seeing my picture all over the net.

And the cloth...

I don't wear such clothes

Who could this be... Like I don't really understand.

"What do you think? " Jackson spoke up for the first time.

"I think there's a mix up somewhere... I mean she didn't leave the school premises and also those clothes... She don't wear such" Hannah replied.

"Then this have to be someone else... But the problem is how do we make everyone believe this is not really you" Xavier spoke up

"GOD" I exclaimed still staring at the picture.

"Do you have a twin sister? " Xavier asked and I stared at him sharply.

"No... I don't really think so" I said thoughtfully.

"Ariana Silver" I read the name written under the picture out loudly

"Dad, did I have a twin sister " I asked while we are eating at the dinning.

"No, why asking" He asked as he stared at me curiously.

"Dad, check this" I stretched my phone to him while he collected it.

He stared at the screen for a while and stared back at me.

"There's a mix up somewhere, this can't be" He said as he stared back at the screen.

"Dad, did I have a twin sister? " I asked again while he shook his head. "No, am sure this is just a look alike" He replies returning my phone back to me.

NEXT DAY

ARIANA

I sat on my bed holding Dave picture tight to my chest as tears rolled down my face uncontrollably.

I really miss him now

It's been 24hours and I still find it hard to believe he's really gone just like that.

What about those promises...

They are also gone with him..

I cried harder.

The door flung open and a figure in back hoodie walked him covering his face with his hood.

He slowly brought down his hood.

"My princess" He slowly called with his disgusting voice.

I stood up from my bed as quick as possible as I shifted back from him.

How did he get in.

I thought everywhere is guarded.

How come he get in.

"What do you want? " I voiced out with my shaky voice.

"Paying a visit to my princess" He said as he slowly sat down on my bed as he looked around my room.

"Nice room" He smiled

"Get out of my room now... I don't want to see your disgusting face... I hate you" I yelled at him as tears rolled down my cheeks.

"Ssshhhh" He said as he placed a finger on his lips urging me not to scream. "Keep your voice down or you might hurt yourself" He said as he stood up walking closer to me.

I moved back till my back was touching the wall and he didn't stop, he kept moving closer to me.

"Stop right there or I will scream" I threatened and I watched him smile wildly.

"They won't hear you" He said as he kept walking closer to me and he stopped just a few inches away from me.

He cupped my head in his palms as he stared into my face while I struggle to free myself from him but it was useless, he's really strong.

CHARLES

I cupped her head in my palms as I stared straight into her eyes.

Her eyes were filled with sadness and fear, and I knew why.

I knew why shes scared, I knew why she's sad and I caused it all.

I felt guilty for it but what could I do.

I might lose her forever if I didn't do that... I might not be able to marry her as I wished.

I heard footsteps at the door... I knew at once that they has already noticed am in the building.

"Goodbye my princess... I love you" I said as I wiped her tears with my thumb and then I escaped through her window.

ARIANA

The door busted open as my dad's bodyguards rushed in.

I stood there as I couldn't move nor talk...

My personal bodyguard, Janet rushes to me as she inspected my body.

"Are you alright" She asked staring at my face.

I nodded as I walked over to my bed sitting down.

"I need to be alone" I said calmly and I watched them all bowed as they walked out.
