IN LOVE WITH MR ARROGANT

Lucy's pov

The buzzing of the alarm woke me up , I sat up right and my eyes landed on the time .

"8:30 am " shit, I was fucking late for the interview. I jacked off and ran to the bathroom to do my morning ritual.

I ran out of the bathroom , dried my hair, and wore a simple black gown. I packed my hair in a ponytail, wore my white heels . I picked my bag without bothering to put makeup on and ran as fast as my leg could take me .

I boarded a cab

" Glitter company" I said, immediately i entered the cab, he nodded his head and drove in a frenzy.

Finally i got to my destination, I got down and paid the driver. I was standing in front of the best company in New York City, a wow escaped from my lips as i stared at the gigantic building. Not having time to admire it, i ran inside taking the elevator, I pressed the eight button, tapping my feet impatiently as i waited for the elevator to take me to my destination.

The elevator made a sound and then opened, i ran out of the elevator, running to where the interview was being held. People kept staring at me like i have gone crazy. I stopped panting heavily, knowing i was lost, i decided to ask for directions.

" Please where is the interview taking place ?" I asked a lady.

" Over there" she pointed her finger to the right direction.

" Thank you" I smiled running off .

Finally i got to where the interview was being held, and was glad my name hadn't been called.

" Thank God" I sighed in relief.

Few minutes later , my name was called. I went in and met a bald man, his head looked so funny. I had the urge to laugh but suppressed it..

" Good morning sir" I bowed my head .

" Good morning Ms Vega, please take a seat" he gestured. I sat down handling the file i came with, which contained my CV and many more .

He collected the flies going through it, while my whole attention was focused on his head, as i thought of different things i was gonna use his head for . He nodded his head and walked to the photocopy machine, printing a copy of my file and handed it back to me .

" I need to ask you some questions," he muttered. I nodded my head waiting for the questions to be thrown at me .

He threw different kinds of questions, which i answered to the best of my knowledge.

" Okay you can leave, we will get back to you" I stood up and left his office, hoping i get the job.

My name is Lucy Vega, I'm twenty four years old . I lost my parent when i was five years old , leaving me all alone to fend for my self .

I got my blue eyes from my mom and long hair, I'm beautiful and have a well curvy shape . I made sure to work hard in order to sponsor myself to school, I have a first degree in business accounting. Well that is all you have to know for now .

RICHARD'S POV

I walked down from the car and entered the company. immediately the workers sighted me , the whole place became quiet.

I pressed the button of my private elevator, it opened and i walked in and punched the ninth button.

The elevator came to a stop , I walked out and saw some workers chitchatting which infuriated me .

" This is a company, not a gossip house" I yelled, they all froze on hearing my voice, immediately they ran going to their various post.

Giving them all a deadly glare, I walked into my office. I sat down, pulled my jacket and placed it on the hanger , i loosened my tie, so i could breath properly.

I grabbed the landline , calling my personal assistant.

" Mara, get me the flies i asked for" I hanged up , working on my computer.

Seconds later , she walked in.

" The flies" i stretched fort my hand to receive the flies, not bothering to take a glance at her .

" The flies aren't ready" she blurted out. I raised my head to stare at her .

" How could you not get the flies ready by now " I uttered, trying to be calm .

" I'm sorry sir" she walked up to me with a mischievous grin plastered on her face, her hands on my shoulder massaging them.

Mara fucking has lots of gut , she has this mentality that i can't fire her all because her uncle is my manager, forgetting he works under me.

Does she think I'm going to fall for her cheap stunt?. I mean she is fucking ugly, her ugly plastic surgery face which can make a baby cry at the sight, her flat ass which looked exactly like the back of a frying pan and the boobs is nothing to write home about. I mean there is nothing appealing in her body.

" What are you doing?" I gritted out.

" Making you feel better" she replied in a sexy tone which only angered me the more .

I stood up as my hand caught her hand on my shoulder, I bend my back so i could reach her level, staring directly into her eyes. I leaned my face closer to her , as i could feel her breath on my which made her smile .

" You are fired" i muttered and immediately her eyes became teary.

" Fuck, there isn't anything sexy about this girl not even her tears" .

" You can't do this to me sir, I did nothing wrong" she cried, as i tears only gave me joy.

" Watch me " I pulled her hand and dragged her to the door, " leave this company, pack anything that belongs to you and leave" I pushed her out roughly and slammed the door.

" Next time if you wanna seduce me, be beautiful and have the shape that can make a guy go crazy, not that trash you call body. I don't joke with my business" I walked back to my seat and immediately called the company manager

" Mr Austin, I need a new personal assistant" I said, immediately he picked the call . He sighed knowing what happened to mara already.

" Don't get my statement wrong sir, you have fired five PA just this month, don't you think it's too much ?"

" Are you questioning my authority" I growled.

" I'm sorry sir, I will pick from the people that did interview" he replied.

" Whatever, all i want is a new PA " I hung up.

Today was really stressful, without a PA, I had to do everything on my own.

I got home really tire only to see my annoying sister Bianca, the one i wish to avoid everyday.

" Richard " she called , walking toward me . I ran up the stairs before she could get to where i was . I got to my room , opened the door and jammed it.

My name is Richard Santiago, CEO of glitter company. I live with my little sister Bianca, she can be annoying but she is my everything, I don't joke with her.

My father left my mom , when i was seven years . Three years later she died of cancer so I'm left with my little sis.

I dropped my bag, pulling off my clothes as i walked to the bathroom naked . Minutes later , i walked out of the bathroom, I wore my pajamas and claimed the bed . I buried myself inside the duvet and closed my eyes, waiting for sleep to take over me .

Lucy's pov

Days turned to night, i kept waiting anxiously for a call from the company i applied for a job.

I waited for three days and finally gave up. I sat down in my apartment hopelessly scooping a bowl of cereal.my phone beeped indicating i had a message, thinking it was a random message,i ignored it and focused back on my meal, suddenly i had this great urge to view the message. I picked up my phone and checked the message, lol and behold it was a message from glitter company.

" OH MY GOD!! I got the job, i got the job" i screamed at the top of my voice. I danced happily as i kept screaming, I'm absolutely sure my neighbors heard me .

I ran to my room , picking out the perfect outfit to wear . I picked out a long pink sleeve and a tummy skirt with a black heel and bag.

The next day, which was Monday , i got dressed and looked good. I checked myself one last time before leaving the house .

On my way to the subway to take a bus , a car almost ran over me .

" Are you okay ma'am?" the driver rushed out of the car with concern on his face .

" Do i look okay to you?" i yelled.

" I'm sorry ma'am" i was fucking angry but had to let it slide since he apologized.

" I'm okay, thank you" i replied, checking myself out.

" Hey , get back to the car" I heard the most lovely voice ever , i raised my head only to see the most handsome guy ever walking toward me .

" OMG, is he an angel?" I muttered

" Are you okay , miss ?" His voice jolted me out of my senseless thought . He was really close to me, which made me have a clearer view of him.

" Is this guy human?" His smooth round face , hazel eyes, well built body and his soft Pink lips. Don't ask how i know his lips are soft .

I felt like smashing my lips on his and having a taste of his whole mouth. This guy is definitely turning me into a pervert.

" I'm talking to you" he pushed my shoulder slightly, making me blush. His hands felt like cotton fabric, really soft like that of a baby . I nodded my head, staring at him admirely .

He looked at me like I had gone nuts .

" Hey " he shaked me aggressively, bringing me back to reality.

" I'm sorry, i was lost for a moment".

" Whatever, I just wanna make sure you are okay before leaving. you might just forge an injury and ask for money because that's how poor people behave . Alway look for means to squander money from the rich" he replied rudely.

Wait, just because he is cute and rich doesn't give him the right to insult me , not just me but the poor. I know I'm poor but i won't ever do something as despicable as that .

" You don't have to worry sir , I don't need your filthy money and even if i got injured, i won't ever receive help from an arrogant and mannerless man like you" i fired back, staring directly into his charming hazel eyes.

Snap out of it, how can I be drooling after he insulted me .

" That's good , at least you have a little self respect. Kindly move out of the way, so my car can move " only if he knew how i adored him , he wouldn't be this mean. Anyway i hate him and i will make him pay for insulting me .

" I'm talking to you,'' he snapped his fingers. I smirked moving closer to him , he stared at me with a confused expression which i replied with a mischievous smile. Our faces were a few inches away from each other, I could feel his breath on my face and damn, it was good .

Why is everything about this guy so good?

" How can a handsome guy be so rude ?" I muttered, entering the elevator.

I walked out of the elevator, meeting the receptionist, she directed me to the Manager's office . I knocked on the door waiting for a response.

" Come in" I heard a familiar voice . I opened the door and met the same man who interviewed me , immediately my eyes landed on his head .

" Good morning sir" I flashed him a small smile . For some reason his head gives me Joy.

" Good morning Ms Vega, you will be working as the new PA for Mr Santiago " I stared at him , feeling astonished.

" Sorry sir, i think there is some kind of misunderstanding. I applied for the job of an accountant not a PA" I replied which he replied with a smile .

" I know , but decided to give you the job of a PA " my joy knew no bond, i felt happy. If there is a better word for it , I will definitely use it . Thinking about it, the pay will be huge.

" I'm rich" I screamed mentally.

" Your office is on the ninth floor, everything you need is on the desk , the CEO will be here soon . You can leave".

" Thank you sir" I stood up , bowing my head.

" You are welcome, I hope you last " he murmured but i heard clearing. I flashed him a small smile and worked out.

I took the elevator, pressing the ninth button, my mind flashed back to what the manager said .

" What does he mean?" I wondered. I shoved the thought off , walking out of the elevator.

Richard's pov

"Good morning Bianca " i pecked her cheeks, sitting down.

" Good morning bro " she replied. Martha served my breakfast, giving me a peck on both of my cheeks.

" Good morning Martha, this looks yummy" I stared at the toastbread and tea . I licked my lips and began ravishing the meal.

Finally, i was done eating. I grabbed my bag, kissing Bianca on her forehead.

" Thank you Martha" I said and headed out.

The ride to the office was fucking slow ." Step on it " i snapped at my driver. My mind went to the lady my driver almost ran over .

" How could she disrespect me that way" thinking about the whole scenario made me so pissed .

I got to the company, ignoring everyone, I walked into my office and sat down . Mr Austin told me he got a new PA for me .

" Get me the black file containing the sales record" I said the moment she picked up.

Five minutes later, she walked in . I raised my head only to see the lady who kicked my family man .

" This will be fun , I will make her regret coming here and for hitting me " I smirked.

Lucy pov

OMG!! I felt my feet sinking to the ground. unbelievable , it was the same guy I never wanted to ever meet again. i saw a devilish smile on his lips.

"Should I run away ?" I questioned myself.

" Hell no, I need the pay for my up keeping and my house rent was due to be expired in a month .

" No, i will endure whatever comes my way , I have to act cool and keep my guide down ' I shoved the thought of running away.

" Good afternoon sir , here is the coffee you asked for" I said faking a smile.

" I'm your new personal assistant , I will be very pleased to run your errands".

"I like ever wish"I said in my mind.

His smile is making me angry , I felt like hitting him hard again but I can't, Because he is my boss.

Richard pov

I saw her standing elegantly in my office with the cup of coffee I ordered for.

I smiled like I heard won a jackpot, i will make her working here miserable.

"let the fun begin" I smiled.

" Oh yeah, you are welcome" i pretended like I was seeing her for the first time.

"I hope you have been told your work in this establishment" I said looking at her rudely from head to toe.

I can't help but admit , she is cute and beautiful. No, I can't let that get in my way of revenge .

" Now, where is my coffee?"

"Here it is sir" she handed it to me.

" Gosh " I yelled .

"how dare you?"

"sir, what is wrong" she asked looking confused and shocked .

" I love the look of frustration on her face" I smiled inwardly .

" Sir I'm sorry for whatever I have done to piss you off"

" how dare you bring me a cold coffee" I yelled

"but you asked for it sir ".

" ME!!how dare you lie against me"

actually , I asked for a cold coffee but I want to make her feel miserable.

" You are not competent enough for this job, instead of apologizing you are arguing with me,

hilarious. Do you think i am paying you that huge amount of salary for you to act like an idiot"

she was already sobbing.

" good I like that" I want her to feel pain.

" I'm very sorry, I'm sorry "she begged.

"Now get out of my office you scumbag" she left crying

when she was out, I laughed out loud.

" suit her right".

Bianca pov

I entered the restaurant with my new boyfriend Mike, actually i broke up with four guys this week or should I say they broke up with me all because of richard.

he has refused to let me have a boyfriend, for crying out loud I'm twenty but I'm not allowed to date.

I hope nothing goes wrong. i sat down and ordered for wine , I was about to gulp the wine when i saw my brother.

' ohhh gawd, I'm dead' I took the menu on the table and covered the side of my face .

" Lord please help me" I don't know how he always know my whereabouts.

i looked up and saw him coming my way ,

he stopped right in front of me, I looked up and saw him starring at me angrily. i forced a smile.

Richard pov

" Lucy get the whole file ready" I said.

I'm having a dinner meeting with classic wine(a powerful company in New York City). we got to the restaurant and my mind was not at rest , I have not seen Bianca two days now , because I'm always busy with work. I decided to check where she was with the tracker I put on her necklace which she promised never to take off.

i checked it and found out that she in this restaurant, I searched but could not find her then I saw a lady covering her face with a menu, though she was covering her with a menu but I can recognize my little sis anytime.

I was glad I saw her but something stopped me, she was with a guy, I became angry .

I walked to her table feeling angry , she noticed me and raised her head up.

"Hi bro "she said

"Bianca what are you doing here and who is this".

"He is my boyfriend Mike and we" before she could finish what she was saying , I dragged her boyfriend up and punched him .

"stay away from my sister" I said.

people were now starring at us.

"Richard how could you?" she said, I dragged her outside.

"listen Bianca, I don't want to see you with any guy" I said.

" Why, for crying out loud , I'm twenty and old enough to have a boyfriend , why can't I have a boyfriend.

"I don't wanna talk about this again" i said.

"Now I know why Scarlett broke up with you, because you are" I slapped her before she could complete her words .

" Oh gawd, I'm amazing sorry Bianca, I didn't mean to hit you" I said.

" Stay away from me" she said in tears and left.

Now what should i do, I just hit my sister. i hope she doesn't hate me .

I cancelled the meeting , I need cool off my head in a bar.

"lucy you are coming with me" i said .

"Where to sir"?

"Don't ask me question just follow me".

I entered the bar, he sat and asked for whisky ,i was still standing, I don't want him to get angry,

"sit "he said.

I sat down looking at him as he finished five bottle of whisky and now he is drunk.

"She hate me "he said

"Who i asked?"

"Bianca"

"She thinks i hate her , but don't know I'm only trying to protect her from getting hurt ."

"Hurt from what?" i asked

"From heart break, I don't want her to live the way I'm living my life all because of heartbreak" he said .

"Then just apologies to her and tell her the reason you don't want her to have a boyfriend "i said

but it seems he was not listening , he was just starring at me.

" Sir are you alright?" I asked

he brought his face closer to mine , our face were few inches apart.

Oh gawd what is he about to do , I could feel his breath on my face , is he about to kiss me.
