IN LOVE WITH A VAMPIRE

Catherine was in her room still sleeping when her Aunt came In with a bucket of water in her hand, she stared at Catherine for a while before pouring the water on her.

Catherine got up from the floor shivering, she stared at her Aunt then tears dropped from her face.

"So, you can get up from the floor... didn't I tell you to wash all my dirty clothes" Rose said.

"I'm sorry," Catherine replied.

"Go to my room right now and pack all the dirty clothes" Rose said.

"Okay ma'am" Catherine said, In tears.

"Why are there tears on your face? wipe it away right now" Rose said then she went out of her room.

Catherine wiped the tears on her face away then she went to the bathroom to take her bath. When she was done, she came out of the bathroom and then she dressed up.

My name is Catherine Adams, am a teenage girl...am an orphan, my parents die when I was ten years old so my Aunt has been the one taking care of me, I don't know if she is my Aunt because of the way She used to maltreat , I wish to study but she doesn't want me...

"Catherine" Rose called.

I'm coming ma'am" I said then I went out of my room.

When I got to the sitting room, I met my Aunt watching a movie.

"Have you packed the dirty clothes?" She asked.

"No ma'am" I replied.

"Go and pack it right now" she said, not looking at me.

"Okay" I said.

I was about to climb the stairs up when she called me.

"Yes ma'am" I answered.

"Before you wash the clothes, go inside the Kitchen and prepare what we will eat," she said.

"Okay" I said , then I went to the kitchen.

When I got inside the kitchen, I prepared rice, then I used the opportunity to wash the dishes.

Three minutes later, I was done so I served her the food. When I was done serving her, I went upstairs to pack the dirty clothes.

When I got upstairs, I took all the dirty clothes inside the toilet to wash. I was washing the clothes when I heard my aunt calling me. I went to meet her.

"This is me ma'am" I said when I got downstairs.

"Get me some water " she said.

"Okay ma'am" I said then I went to the kitchen.

When I got to the kitchen, I took the water from the fridge, then I walked out of the kitchen.

"This is it ma'am" I said , then I dropped the water on the table.

"Okay...go and continue what you are doing" She said then I went upstairs.

Two hours later, I was still washing the clothes when my stomach made a loud noise.

"I'm hungry but I must finish washing the clothes before I eat" I said.

"Are you not done washing the clothes?" My aunt asked, coming in.

"Yes ma'am" I said.

"You must finish washing the clothes before you eat,okay" she said.

"Okay ma'am" I said sadly.

"I'm going out" she said then she went out of the Kitchen.

A minute later, I was done washing the clothes so I went to the kitchen to take my food.

When I got to the Kitchen, I took my food, then I rushed it in my mouth and when I finished eating, I slept off.

Rose went to her friend's house but she didn't meet her at home so she went home back when she got home, she met Catherine lying on the couch sleeping. she went to her room, she took the cane then she went to the sitting room when she got to the sitting room, she wiped Catherine with the cane.

Catherine opened her eyes, screaming.

"Aunt, I'm sorry" Catherine said.

"Have you finished washing the dirty clothes?" Rose asked.

"Yes ma'am," Catherine replied.

"When you are done washing the clothes, can't you tidy up the house?" Rose asked.

"Am sorry ma'am" Catherine said.

"Start tidying it up right now" Rose said then she went upstairs.

When Rose got to her room, she went to the toilet to take her bath.

"I'm fed up with everything" she said, tidying up the sitting room.

Catherine was still tidying up the sitting room when she heard her Aunt calling her.

She went upstairs.

"This is me ma'am" Catherine said when she got to her room.

"When you are done tidying up the house, go and wash the toilet" Rose said, pointing to the toilet.

Catherine nodded her head then she went out of her room.

Andrew was in his room, chatting with his friend when his sister came in.

"Can't you knock the door before entering?" Andrew asked, but his sister didn't say anything, she sat on the bed.

"Can't you ask for permission before sitting on the bed?" Andrew asked, then he glared at her.

"What is so special about your bed? Must I ask for permission before sitting on your bed" Elsa, his younger sister said.

"Okay...why are you here?" Andrew asked.

"Mom is calling you" Elsa said.

"For what ?" Andrew asked.

"When you get to the palace ask her" Elsa said.

Andrew rolled his eyes then Elsa went out of his room.

My name is Andrew Nelson, the son of Materor, the brave vampire, my father Materor is the king of all vampires while my mother Queen Amber is the queen. I have a troublesome sister named Elsa, she likes humans but I don't like them. Elsa even told our parents she wants to become a human when dad heard what she said. He was so angry then he told the guards to lock her in the room. I hate humans so much, I feed on them because their blood gives me energy, my parents don't feed on them, they feed on human blood, my father told me not to feed on them but I don't listen. That is all about me for now.

I went out of his room, and when I got to the palace, I met dad sitting on the throne while mom sat beside him on the chair.

"Good morning" I greeted, then I bow my head.

"Good morning" They responded.

"You called for me mom" I said, turning to mom.

"I was the one that called you" Dad said.

"Okay" I said.

"Andrew you have grown up, I want you to get married" Dad blurted out.

"Yes Andrew...I want to see my grandson" mom said.

"But dad..."

"Andrew get ready...you are getting married" mom interrupted.

"I will give you a year to find the girl, you will marry even if it is a human...i don't care, you are free to marry her" Dad said, angrily.

"Dad..."

I was about to say something when he glared at me, I glanced at them then I walked out of the palace.

"Why would they say I should get married to a human that I hated with all passion?" Andrew said, angrily.

When I got to my room, I met the maids in my room, I glared at them.

"Out of my room" I yelled at them.

The maids ran out of my room.

I sat down on the bed thinking about what dad said.

In the night, Catherine was in her room sleeping when Rose came in.

"Catherine" Rose called, tapping her.

Catherine did not answer so Rose slapped her.

"I'm sorry Aunt" Catherine said, getting up from the floor.

"I want to send you an errand" Rose said, glaring at her.

"Okay Aunt" Catherine said, staring at the floor.

"'Go to the pharmacy right now...go and give the man that is there this money" Rose said, giving her the money.

"Okay Aunt" Catherine said then she went out of the room.

On her way to the pharmacy, she lost the money, she searched for the money but she couldn't find it and there was no extra money with her so she went home back.

When she got home, she met Rose in the sitting room watching a movie, she stared at Rose in tears.

"Huh! Why are you sobbing?" Rose asked.

"Aunt I misplaced... the money" Catherine said in tears.

When Rose heard what she said, she stood up from where she was sitting then she slapped her.

Tears rushed out of Catherine, she stared at her aunt in tears.

"I'm sorry" Catherine said.

"You are sleeping outside today" Rose said then pushed her out of the house.

"I'm sorry aunt, I will not do that again" Catherine said in tears

"Out right now" Rose said, not looking at her.

Rose pushed her out of the house.

"My aunt sent me out of the house because I lost her money, I am fed up...I don't think she is my Aunt" She thought.

A minute later, Catherine was starving so she went to the other street. On her way she saw two guys licking a lady's blood.

"Uh!" She said then she screamed.

The two vampires turned back to know who screamed when they saw Catherine, they stopped what they were doing then one of them held Catherine's neck.

Andrew was about to bite her neck when his phone rang, he checked the caller then he hung up, he was about to bite her neck when she screamed.

She passed out.

Andrew was about to bite her neck when his phone rang again then he went to pick the call.

"Hello Mom...what is it?" He asked.

"Andrew, where are you, I am in your room" Queen Amber said.

"Can't I live my life the way I want it? must you know everywhere I go" He said.

"Andrew, come home right now, your dad must not know that you are not in the Mansion...am waiting for you"Queen Amber said.

"Okay, I'm coming" He said, then he hung up.

"Andrew what's wrong?" Leo asked.

"Mom said I should come home" He said.

"What about the lady...what are we going to do to her?" Leo asked.

"Let's take her home" He said.

"I hope the Queen..."

"They will not find out" He interrupted.

They went home with Catherine.

Queen Amber was in Andrew's room waiting for him when he came in with Catherine.

"She is a human" Andrew replied.

" A human...I hope it is not what I'm thinking?" Queen Amber said.

"Yes mom, it is" he said with a roll.

"Didn't I tell you not to feed on them again?" The queen asked

"I'm sorry"Andrew said.

Queen Amber was still speaking to Andrew when she saw tears on Catherine's face.

"I'm sorry Aunt, please forgive me... don't send me out" Catherine said.

The Queen glanced at her then she wiped the tears on her face away.

"I think the lady has gone through alot" Queen Amber said.

Andrew nodded his head.

"I will go and call your dad now" The queen said then she went out of her room.

When the Queen got to the King room, she met him reading a book.

"Materor" The queen called.

"Yes" he answered.

"You son brought a human to the kingdom" The queen said.

"Take me to his room" King Materor said then they went to his room.

When they got to his room, they met him pressing his phone.

"Andrew, where did you meet her?" King Materor asked, pointing to Catherine.

Andrew stared at his parents for a while then he told his parents.

"Didn't I tell you not to feed on them again?" The King asked, angrily.

"I'm sorry dad" Andrew said then the King slapped him.

"I'm sorry" Andrew said again.

"Who are you?" Catherine asked when she opened her eyes.

"She is awake" King Materor said.

When Catherine saw Andrew, she screamed.

"Please don't kill me" Catherine said.

"We are not killing you lady" The Queen said, sitting beside her.

Catherine moved away.

"Who are you people?" Catherine asked in tears.

"What's your name?" Queen Amber asked.

"Catherine" she said.

"Catherine we are Vampires but we don't feed on human beings" The queen said.

"But he..."

"Don't mind him...we are so sorry for whatever he has done to you" The queen interrupted.

Catherine nodded her head.

"Catherine, we are sorry for everything that happened" King Materor also said.

"It's okay... can I go home?" She asked.

"No Catherine, you can't go home...we are sorry" The queen said.

"Why?" Catherine asked.

"If you go now...your people will know we Vampire exist" Queen Amber said.

"How" Catherine said.

"You will tell them" The queen said.

"I promise you guys, I won't tell anyone" Catherine said.

"You are going nowhere" Andrew yelled.

"Andrew, don't yell at her again" The King said.

"It's okay...am not going again" Catherine said in tears.

"Cathrine wipe your tears away" Queen Amber said then she wiped her tears away immediately.

"Take her to the guest room" The King said.

Queen Amber nodded her head.

Catherine glanced at Andrew but he glared at her.

Catherine and the queen went out of the room.

"Dad, I'm sorry" Andrew said.

"I don't want you to feed on humans again" The King said, angrily.

He nodded his head.

"The lady, what are we..."

"She will be living with us" King Materor interrupted.

"Huh!" He said.

"Yes" King Materor said then he went out of his room.

The next day, Catherine woke up with the sound of birds, she yawned and got down from the bed. She was going to the toilet when Elsa came in.

"Who are you?" Cathrine asked.

"So, it is true that there is a human in the vampire's Kingdom" Elsa said.

"Who are you?" Cathrine asked again.

"I'm so sorry for not introducing myself...am Elsa, Andrew's younger sister" Else said.

Cathrine nodded her head.

"What's your name?" Elsa asked.

"Cathrine" Andrew said, walking in.

"Nice meeting you Cathrine" Else said.

"Same here" Cathrine said.

"You girls should stop all this" Andrew smirked.

"Andrew leave us alone" Elsa said then he rolled his eyes.

"I want to taste her blood" Andrew said, holding Catherine's neck.

Elsa glared at him.

"You dare not" Elsa said.

Andrew got angry when Elsa said that he was about to bite Catherine's neck when someone came in.
